hi! i'm sorry to bother u with this, it's a subs-de-ladybug-et-chat-noir question, since the main blog doesnt seem to answer questions or requests, im just very desperate and ur the only person on that blog that i follow
so i know that subs-de said that they wont do the eps that miraculousubs have already done, and this makes sense to a point, but pretty much all of the miraculousubs links are broken, and since they havent communicated in years, theres a high chance that theyll never get the links working again
ig my question is, does the subs-de team have direct communication w the miraculousubs team, and do you know if theyre ever gonna touch up their google sheet links? and if they dont seem to, will you ever consider doing those older episodes anyway, since miraculousubs doesnt actually have them available?
(sincerely, someone who has spent at least six hours everyday over the past week looking for decent versions of season 1 of the french dub w accurate english subtitles, and still cant find rogercop, le dessinateur, or horrificator anyway (kimcartoon has all but those???) and legit burst into tears at the end of it)
i'm really sorry if this is an annoying ask, i know ur a volunteer, its just really frustrating and saddening to not have any access to a resource that used to be available, and especially everyone being out of the loop and not knowing whats happening with it

we've been in contact with members of the miraculousubs team and we'll be making an announcement soon about temporarily hosting the episodes they've already subbed! for our part though, we'll be focusing our subbing efforts on newer episodes / episodes which were never subbed by them. we'll be making an announcement with the links on the server soon, so stay tuned!

Thank You For Everything
SmashGenesis: First, we want to express our immense gratitude to you all for your support these past few years. I know how much you all have enjoyed looking forward to our subtitles. Unfortunately, despite our passion for Code Lyoko, sometimes, life takes you in a different direction. We love this crazy show with big foreheads and bigger hormonal swings, but not enough to painstakingly subtitle it episode by episode for free anymore.
Today marks the end of Carthage Subbing's journey with Code Lyoko.
We know. We're sorry we weren't able to finish season 2. But fear not! This post isn't all bad news.
As many of you may know, there's another anime-inspired, French cartoon that doesn't have any official English subtitles for its French audio track. In fact, you're more likely to know it than you are Code Lyoko!
That's right! We're switching focus to subtitle Miraculous: Les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir, more commonly known as Miraculous Ladybug!
I'm sure this is a decision that will take some time to get used to. But really, who needs 2-decade old cartoons with their cheap animation? Now we can focus on the shiny, modern tribulations of Marinette, Adrien and all their superhero friends. Below are links to our subtitled versions of Origins: Ladybug and Chat Noir and Origins: Stoneheart. Please excuse our outdated Code Lyoko tumblr theme. We'll switch to a more miraculous one soon.
Also, a huge shoutout to the @miraculousubs team for making the raw versions of the episodes available to download! We couldn't have done this without you.

hi! do you happen to know where to watch the new special in french but with english subs?
Hi! Unfortunately I'm not sure that's going to be available in the close future since Disney Channel also released the English dub so there's "no need" for it, but we'll probably work on it with the @subs-de-ladybug-et-chat-noir team at some point! Given the length it's going to take longer than for usual episodes, but we'll get to it eventually 😊
Maybe check miraculous.to/en anyway, just in case they started working on it and felt like releasing it?...
In the meantime, if you're curious about some of the scenes in particular, don't hesitate to ask and I'll translate it 😊

hey the french ml subbing blog didn't have asks open so ima ask here. I know you guys said we can't upload your eps on youtube, what about compilations of scenes? I wanted to make a few eng dub vs. french sub comparison vids to show other people the difference between both versions
Hey ! (Anon talking about the @subs-de-ladybug-et-chat-noir project in which we translate as accurately as possible the episodes from French to English)
We're fine with it so long as we're being credited properly and you include our credits when you add our translation to your comparative clip 😊 and also to not make revenue with ads, even though it's not tons of money we would like to avoid people benefitting from our work money-wise if you get what I mean 😆
Also note that we had already planned on our blog to share GIFs and short video clips highlighting major translations differences as well 😉

hey i wasn't sure how to contact anybody who works on Subs de Ladybug et Chat Noir since there is no talking in the discord and the main tumblr's askbox is closed. i haven't checked every link but all of the mega links on miraculousSubs spreadsheet no longer work. i checked the vimeo links and some of them still work but Zombizou is completely inaccessable and i just thought i should let somebody know in case you wanted to update your spreadsheet? sorry for the weird ask!
no worries! the thing is, miraculousubs has actually been inactive for a while. subs de ladybug and chat noir is a separate project to sub the episodes that miraculousubs hadn't done, so we don't have edit access to the spreadsheet or the filehosts for the miraculousubs eps

Our Next Steps
So, after literal years of work, we've got season 1 of Code Lyoko all wrapped up! "But wait," you might say. "There's still another 3 seasons! Another 71 episodes! Aren't you going to do those?"
The answer, of course, is yes. But first, we have some announcements to make...
First and foremost, we'd like to thank everyone who's been following us, whether you started with our release of Teddygozilla or any other point in the season. All of you guys watching our subtitles make this so much more rewarding.
Second, we do intend to subtitle season 2 and beyond, but first, we're going to be rereleasing a select few season 1 episodes with corrected typos, corrected formatting errors, and a few corrected translation errors. Stay tuned for those!
Thirdly, we have a new team member! We won't be telling you his name just yet - we love a dramatic reveal as much as anyone! He'll make an introduction post for himself when we debut our season 2 subtitles. Look forward to it! And if you want to help us with translation, you're still more than welcome to email us about it at [email protected].
Finally - and this is the big one - we're going to wait to translate season 2... because we're posting the prequel episode XANA Awakens first! We have a first draft of our translation for this 40 minute prequel, but we still need to edit it. So look forward to that, too!

Hi!
I watch mlb without subs as long as it's in French or English haha, but you can find the subbed episodes on miraculous.to (there are quite a few ads there, it's better with an ad blocker)!
The team of @subs-de-ladybug-et-chat-noir and I have also started working on our own subs for the season, so people can have access to the French dub with faithful English subs, hopefully we'll have some episodes ready soon 😊

Miraculous, les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir - Season 3: I Design & i Concept (Per Me) Più Belli [NonSoloAkumaAnzi]
Terza serie di Miraculous, terzo elenco dei design e dei concept che ho trovato più belli ✰
(Ovviamente, super spoileroni! - Stavolta più che mai.)
Akuma: Bei Design
Desperada
Coco ha fatto scoprire al mondo il Dia de Los Muertos e ML, pieno di citazioni, non poteva non tirare fuori un bell’akuma a tema. Questa è la sua screen più fAiga, in cui sembra abbia pure delle ali (invece è la custodia degli strumenti musicali). Impossibile non far notare il bellissimo gioco di parole tra lei e la situazione dell’episodio: “Yo soy desperada”. Uno degli episodi più belli di tutto ML non poteva che avere un akuma gran bello.
(E, confesso, fino alla rivelazione di questo qua sotto, era l’unico design di akuma di questa serie che ho trovato notevole-)
Chat Blanc
Tutti si aspettavano Chat Blanc, lo aspettavano bianco ma con gli occhi gialli, viola o rossi. E invece sono azzurri. Vuoti. L’intera palette della Parigi futura è opaca, sui toni di un azzurro etereo e di un bianco freddo. Lo aspettavano biondo, invece il bianco è anche sui suoi capelli.
Un design semplicissimo, eppure stupendo, se non addirittura uno dei migliori di tutte le serie. Era un design che si aspettavano tutti, ma è riuscito a colpire lo stesso.
Akuma: Bei Concept
Animaestro
A parte l’epic win di metterci l’autore effettivo di ML e consentirgli tante belle frecciate a Svariata Gente, mi è gran piaciuto tutto il suo potersi trasformare secondo varie forme di animazione e, soprattutto, trovo geniale il fatto che “se nessuno lo guarda, si ferma”.
Bakerix
... Cioè, guardatelo. Non si può non rimanere affascinati dalla meticolosità di questo design. Probabilmente uno degli akuma più curati in assoluto - e fatto da qualcuno che conosce bene tutti i tipi di pane esistenti. (!)
(In effetti, questo akuma oscilla pure nella categoria “bei design”, ma vabbè.)
Bonus per tutte le citazioni ad Asterix, tra nome e Pozione Magica.

Portatori di Miraculous
Multimouse
Marinette ci sta infinitamente meglio con gli odango che con le codine. (Ma con i capelli sciolti sta meglio-) e finalmente ha una tuta con più dettagli. *La muta da sub a pois di Ladybug non la fa proprio proprio proprio impazzire.*
Sono certa che le fan, poi, apprezzino Multimouse accanto a Chat Noir.
Dragonbug
In attesa di un power up di Ladybug che renda il suo costume un po’ più carino, Dragonbug le dà un po’ di fAighezza con tanti bei dettagli - soprattutto le ali sopra le orecchie. Peccato si sia vista gran poco.
Pegase
Max il nerd da parodia diventa Morpheus giovane e fAigo. Questo serve ad insegnare ai bambini che tutti - ma proprio tutti! - possono essere fAighi!
(Mi chiedo come agli autori sia venuto in mente questo design pensando a Max.)
Viperion
Vabbè, questo credo parli da solo *che scelta di parole meravigliosa*. Viperion è per il pubblico un po’ più grande e per le fans che preferiscono Multimouse con un altro suo noto predatore. O per quelle che vogliono vedere un felino e un rettile.
La mossetta fabulous a fine trasformazione mi ha fatta ribaltare.
Lady Noire & Mister Bug
Questa era una cosa dovuta e sono felice sia avvenuta. Mister Bug è la quintessenza della puccezza (e grazie per non avergli dato un tutone aderente monocolore a pois) e Lady Noire è bellissima - mille punti per la trecciona a fare da coda. Mi piacerebbe se ci fosse un altro swap - ma senza Marinette mestruatissima, grazie.
