Straud Mansion

This mansion has been slowly built up, by the Straud family, over the town's 200-year history. It boasts a ballroom on the top floor and the basement has plenty of, ah…. storage. There’s ample space for the lone Straud heir to start a family.

Vlad Bloodvein, as he appears in my game. The backstory I made up for him is that he was a combat medic during the late 19th century, then following his service he began a career in medicine while developing an addiction to diethyl ether.

He is Clan Tzimisce, a new father, and is married to Elle DeVampiro (who is now Elle Bloodvein). He is very relieved that their daughter, Claudia, was born a vampire, because otherwise she would have been used as the household's communal bloodbag. They live with Vladislaus in his mansion in Forgotten Hollow.

He's easily one of my favorite pre-made sims. Daddy af tbh. I replaced his bookworm trait with evil because bookworm is a waste of trait, if you ask me. Him and Vladislaus are totally bro'd up and get along incredibly well. They like to hit the town and carry out their evil plans together.

Currently, Vlad and Straud are on the hunt for some live-in ghouls because right now, we're mainly just drinking from the maid and people who wander around outside, and it's getting to be a hassle...

Numerous coffins

A huge improvement over my first renovation attempt. I still like certain unusual features of the original mansion and tried to maintain them. I might redo the landscaping on the left side and back.

Basement comes with a dungeon, an operating/research/plasma donation room, an underground living space. Theres even a small moat system.

The yard has a small plasma tree orchard. I made room for a third bedroom while maintaining the open second level. There's also a mini roof garden of glowing plants.

Straud Mansion WIP

This build is my passion project right now. So far it has a:

formal dining room,

conservatory/breakfast/sun room,

eat-in kitchen,

music room,

parlor,

séance room,

two-story library/study,

game room,

smoking/gentlemen’s room,

two half baths on the main floor,

and two secret staircases.

There’s also a cold storage room and wine cellar in the basement. They’re accessible through a hidden staircase between the kitchen and music room. I’m also planning on adding a pool, and a crypt in the basement. However, I’ve hit a wall with the layout of the second floor and attic, and I’m incredibly grateful that @awingedllama has graciously agreed to take a crack at it for me. I can’t thank you enough, Anna!

So I was surprised that there hasn't been a Baldur's Gate Sims 4 Legacy Challenge made yet, so I made one. This only includes the BG3 companions and custom characters. You're welcome. Let me know if I forget a pack.

Required packs: Get to Work, Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Snowy Escape, High School Years, Cottage Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Get Together, Cats and Dogs, Discover University, Growing Together, Parenthood, Spa Day, City Living, Vampires, Werewolves (optional), Island Living (optional), and Romantic Garden Stuff (optional)

Generation 1: Laezel

Socially Awkward, Genius, Active

Start as an Alien; you are not allowed to disguise yourself

Complete the BodyBuilder aspiration

Reach max Fitness and Logic skill

Reach level 10 of the Military career, either branch

Become Woohoo Partners with a sim and achieve Best Friend status without any romance bar

Have at least one Science baby with your best friend (No Try for Baby or Adoption)

Generation 2: Wyll

Self-assured, Proper, Good

Be turned into a vampire by Straud as a Young Adult and move into his household

Kill Straud in your lifetime and take over his mansion

Mackenzie Vespertine, Tatiana Salas's campaign manager, isn't an incredibly remarkable character in this storyline. He isn't terribly noteworthy, and he doesn't last very long. Especially when he decides to become entangled within the narrative of Tatiana's eldest daughter, Sandra Landgraab.

But no one sees her like he does, you see. Sandra doesn't see it yet, but they have plenty in common. What Mackenzie admires so much about Sandra is her dedication and work ethic—the same traits his ex-wife divorced him for years ago. Mackenzie: May I overstep, Sandra? Sandra: Overstep? About? Mackenzie: It's just that I think you're overworking yourself. And that's coming from me. Tatiana is so lucky to have a daughter like you, bending over backwards for her campaign while your sisters are nowhere to be seen.

Sandra: I... Mackenzie: And the sacrifices you've made... juggling it all. Quality time with your children... your job... it's clear you're tired. Sandra: Mackenzie, I- thank you. Thank you for acknowledging that. I guess it is a lot. But it's for a good cause. I believe in my mother's platform. Besides... it'll all be over soon. And I haven't had to do it all alone. [Friendly smile]

Mackenzie isn't completely delusional, he knows Sandra is married to one of the richest sims with a pulse. Not that that should be a factor. Perhaps he's just sleep deprived or overworked, but he becomes fixated on the fantasy of he and Sandra being the perfect vampiric power couple; The next Salas and Straud, destined to reshape the nation together. All he needs, is the opportunity to win her— Mackenzie: Why don't you let me take over for the night? You get home to the kids. Sandra: Oh my mod, no way, I can't leave you with all this work. The election is only in— Mackenzie: Seriously. Trust me, k? I got it. Come on, I'll walk you out.

Sandra: Mack, thank you, really. I've been so stressed about this election. Mackenzie: I know you have. But uh... I think you can relax. I'm... I'm pretty confident about this one. Now go home and pick out a party dress. And tell the girls hi for me, will you?

Mackenzie and Sandra move wordlessly through the Straud Mansion. He listens to the rhythmic clack of her heels against the ground, sensing their pace slow as they reach the doors and emerge outside onto the cobblestone in the cool night air.

Sandra: I'll see you on election night then? I'll save you a seat at the party. Mackenzie: I wouldn't miss it for the world.

[Build: The Hall of Shadows (Simblreen Gift #3)]

An ancient manor, said to have once been home to a force of darkness the likes of which the world will never see again. The evidence of something sinister at play lingers in every corner.

Our final gift for Simblreen: the Hall of Shadows. This place was built to house some very scary beings, who are thankfully no longer in residence. They may have left some things about. From the ground up, the house is an eerie mansion, with three bedrooms, servants' quarters, wash room, library, rubbish room, ballroom and grand dining room. Below the ground, you'll find the kitchens, and...a place that's just a bit spooky. (Not pictured, so as not to ruin the surprise.) There are seven floors total.
