Stop caring what others think
The thing that holds us back the most, is our concern of what others think; instead of thinking about ourselves and whether what we’re doing is right.
Other people’s opinions have everything to do with them, their past, their judgments, and their expectations. Your truth is your truth. No matter what you do, others may always have an opinion, but that has everything to do with how they feel about themselves and what they deal with, not about you.
It is important we know our values and what we stand for. What we choose to do, is not for someone else to question. We need to care about what is right for us. They need to care about what is right for them.
Where it is good to care about others, it shouldn’t be at the cost of what we want and need for ourselves. When we place too much value on what others think, we undermine our own values and what we want for ourselves.
It is important we think about feeding the soul, because without feeding the soul, we may never be in a position to help and look after ourselves.
