Into, Across and Beyond!: Happy Easter/Trans Visibility Day!
"Hey, guys! OMT!Tails here, just wanting to wish you all a happy Easter! Today, aside from all the eggs, is all about new beginnings and a fresh start as spring dawns upon us! As you can see around me, I painted a few eggs based on my friends and family, and I really hope you like them.
Oh, yeah! Today's also Trans Visibility Day this 2024, and as a trans boy myself, I hope the day goes wonderfully for all of you! I'm hoping for discrimination against trans people and anyone else to be gone from society as soon as possible, and I'm rooting for all you guys and gals and everyone in-between out there!
One person I wanted to give a shoutout to today is Vela Cosmos, the lead developer of Freedom Planet: Shang Mu Architect, and one of the prime inspiration people for this project! Seeing as how you're a trans woman, and game developing isn't an easy feat, I wanted to wish you the best as a fellow trans buddy!
I know I couldn't get a cake ready in time for the occasion, but have this complimentary burger from me, on the house! I, well, also sent a shipment of chicken nuggets over to Chiasa, as I know how much she likes them! Well, I really hope that you all enjoy the rest of this day! Happy Easter and Trans Visibility Day!" - OMT!Tails

I always loved this little Easter Egg of both the Earth-616 and Sam Rami Trilogy Green Goblin masks from the "Hobgoblin" arc of Brian Michael Bendis’ run on Ultimate Spider-Man!
Heck, I actually noticed it when I first read the issue as a little kid!

Should I add communicative Symkarian to my CV, or something?
(Actually, what they speak in the game is Hungarian with Russian accent, but Hungarian nonetheless.)
Long story short: using an actual natural language as a stand-in for a fictional one is a generally acceptable move. However, I rarely if ever see it used in settings as closely mimicking the real world and with so little in-world sense.
Somewhat baffled at this move, I embarked on a wiki to learn something more on why Symkarian is apparently Hungarian, and... Not getting into details, Symkaria as a whole seems to be a worldbuilding dumpster fire that somehow manages to be an alt-hist Hungary lookalike with a fake mustache AND be your run-of-the-mill mini-Russia at the same time.
What can I say, hip hip hurray for nuanced (fictional) Eastern European representation.

🕷UPDATE #4🕷
"The point is, none of that other crap matters anymore. School or popularity or bullies. He’s beyond that now. Will Byers has just moved up on the food chain, and there’s no taking him down. Not ever again."
Chapter Six coming soon...🕷

While it was great to see the Ms. Marvel’s first artist Adrian Alphona return for full interior art in the Science Fair issue and not just flashback sections like in all of the other issues during the Post-Secret Wars (2015) relaunch, what the heck is going on with that “Phrenology Profiles” background display?!
My best guess that it’s about giving first-hand demonstrations to volunteers where practitioners of that awful racist pseudo-science would measure and map out the brain to show people what the experience was historically like?
Also, I get that Alphona is famous including random and bizarre Easter eggs in the background of his artwork in Ms. Marvel (which has been a reoccurring trope since the series’ inception), but this one is just bizarre!
From Ms. Marvel (2015) #7 by G. Willow Wilson & Adrian Alphona.
