listen it’s all obviously a trans allegory and all obviously beautiful and gutting because of it, but can we talk about the moment when they get back from the quispy dragon fight and Nimona says, they’ve taught little children to hate me, and “I don’t know what’s scarier…”

and Ballister’s immediate reaction upon seeing the depths of her anguish, of the way she’s been cast aside and made to feel like worse than nothing, made to want to just DIE, is not to doubt or pity her but to say, Nimona, we are getting you out of here. This situation is bad for you. I don’t care what it costs us, we’re getting you away from this, we’re leaving, together.

Never mind that Bal’s entire world is within these walls, never mind that he was literally JUST saying he thinks leaving the walls of the city is incredibly dangerous. He’s getting her the fuck out of here.

#so many kids need this and they don’t get it #but she got it. and it meant everything to her in that moment #just like bal accepting that she breathes fire #nimona

Zantanna’s voice had that cadence to it. Faintly strangled. Forcibly calm. Her rising blood pressure and rapidly approaching limit for his special brand of excitement evident in every single letter of his name.

Felt like old times.

“Z.” He said, smoke curling out of his mouth and billowing towards the dreary grey sky above. The one nice thing about Gotham, it had the same gloomy dark ambience of ol’ London town. “Long time no see. How’s show biz been treating you?”

He saw the faintest of twitches at the corner of her eye. Could almost hear her counting to ten in her head. He smiled at her winningly, leaning back against the damp bricks of the alleyway as he waited. More smoke drifted upward from beside him in time with a bored sigh. Patience was running out on all sides it seemed.

“That’s a child.”

“Sharp as ever.” He said, taking another drag. He nudged the child in question beside him gently with his elbow, glancing down with a sly grin. “See this is why the Justice League pay her the big bucks. Nothing gets past our Zantanna Zatara.”

He got a cloud of smoke blown directly in his face for that, little shit.

“John.”

“Z.”

“Why do you have a child? Why is the child smoking?”

“Long story.” He said with a wave of his hand.

“I learned it from watching him.” The kid said, with the same cadence as that old American commercial. All dramatic and overwrought emotion. The gremlin swooned against John's side in an imitation of collapse, hand holding the lit bifter coming up to their forhead to really sell the melodrama. He nudged his ghostly companion off, grinning at Zantanna’s slipping patience as he did.

“Don’t worry about it. Kid's fine.”

“A child wandering around with you in a dark ally in Gotham smoking cigarettes is fine?”

“I mean, I’m already dead. And short. It’s not like smoking is gonna be able to do any worse to me.”

no offense to the general public but when people say catelyn knowing about R+L=J would’ve changed her and jon’s relationship i know they don’t get catelyn’s character.

if ned had told catelyn the truth about jon it would not have made their marriage stronger it would have ruined it. telling his wife he puts jon’s safety above her children’s (which is exactly what he was doing) would put an end to the love in their marriage she would hate him. catelyn would’ve hated jon even more if she knew who he was because he was an even greater danger to her children. ned made traitors of all the starks without even telling them, if anyone ever found out they would have all been executed. she would’ve slit jon’s throat herself and maybe ned’s too

Been thinking about the X-Files recently. A show I have a hazy, but fond memory of.

And everything is a conspiracy.#...It *has* been nearly a decade since I saw the x files. I think I'd have a hard time rewatching for a few reasons but I did enjoy it.#This was initially just a work doodle I wasn't going to clean up #but the amount of x-files fans that Ive seen about + Lazycranberryart's wangxian x-files art got my brain too fired up.#Mulderscully vibes are like: "I'm her silly rabbit. she doesn't call me that outloud. But I believe in my heart it's true.'#Its about having faith and trust in each other! They might not always agree either but they have each other's backs!#Scully is 100% the one that kills the spiders in the relationship. Mulder wants to rescue them but his ideals aren't strong enough #Girl Daddy and Baby Girl Boy. That's who they are to me.

#my art #pokemon #braixen #pkmn #starter pokemon #YAAAAY only took like 8 days working on off and on WHBDFJKHGB i reworked the pose a bunch #and im really happy with how it came out!!! i may have gone overboard with the shading but thats ok bc i had fun #when i was trying to figure out the fire i accidentally deleted the lining and i did not notice that i did that. so when i went to see if i #could get it back. i could not. so i had to redo the lining HAHA really annoying but its ok bc i still had the sketch and the coloring #using this as a segue to talk about my delphox lucky. my first non handmedown pokemon game was x #so it was a really big deal for me right. i was ten. i picked fennekin [i usually go for the grass starters but fennekin is one of the #exceptions to this] and to my delight my fennekin was a female. and to me that was the luckiest thing ever so i obviously named her lucky #i got her to max happiness and she was the first pokemon i leveled up to lvl 100 without cheating #the fennekin line will always have a soft spot in my heart and i will always include a female delphox named lucky in my dream team lineup

I love three houses discourse because I'm pretty sure everyone just picks their route based on which house leader they're the most gay for and then tries to defend their pick by pointing out the other sides's war crimes via twitter memes.
