Currently, you were laying down on your boyfriend Miles's bed while he sat in his chair playing his stupid game. Call of booty or whatever it was.

"Gotcho ass bitch, you owe me $40 nigga" Miles yells while laughing.

You sigh rolling your eyes. He invited you over here just to scream over his headset the whole time like I might as well go home then.

He spins around in his chair staring at you and his eyebrows clench together as he sees you frowning. "What's wrong ma?"

You scoff "Oh nothing it's just my dumbass boyfriend invited me over here just to give me no attention but no biggie!" Sarcasm laced in your tone.

He starts laughing again while he takes his headset off and manhandles you until you're in his lap.

You feel those special butterflies flying around in your stomach.

He starts kissing down your neck and you giggle as it starts to tickle

"Sigues enojado bebé?" He hums, your shirt muffling his voice a bit.

"What if I'll teach you how to play to make it up to you and we can play together" He proposes as he makes his finger crawl up your thigh and his lips never leave your neck.

You a blushing mess at this point.

"Ok" you giggle obviously flustered and turned on.

He puts his headset on top of your head as he turns the game back on, when he logged into the game he yells into the mic real quick, "Yall watch how ya talk my girls on here."

He spends the rest of the time holding his hands over yours and helping you kill all the people, you and him know you're not really doing much work, but it's too much of an intimate moment to ruin.

I already said this once in one of my old posts, but I won't stop until my concepts are noticed.

Since I've always found the contrast between Earth 42 and 1610 to be interesting, I think we're missing out a bit by focusing solely on the Miles.

Because - listen to me - a duo of 1610 and 42 Rio would be something incredible. As would their analyses and comparisons.

They're similar, very similar, to the point where Miles couldn't tell the two apart in the beginning until he realized he was in the wrong universe. Because Rio is an adult, and certain traumatic events affect the character and behavior of adults differently than they do teenagers.

But we cannot say that they are the same. Because traumatic events still influence adults.

1610 Rio is actually a healthy and happy person, wife and mother. She has some worries about her son, how he is growing up and the changes in his character and the people he meets along the way.

42Rio, at the same time, is a completely different story. She is a widow and a single mother who is still dealing with the death of her husband and working much more than she should. Because she is the only person left in the family who can earn money at all. She also cares about Miles (for different reasons, yes) because Miles is the only family she has left.

She's just the most tired woman alive.

And I just need them to sit down in the kitchen with tea, discussing their children for the next three hours in the form of a therapy session.

—it was a bad evening. failing assignments, arguing with parents, it was just a whole hassle. the one thing that gave you comfort was looking at the stars, but you never told anyone that before. not even your boyfriend. some things you just want to keep for yourself for your own personal enjoyment.

just lying on the hills, looking at the stars. a part of it felt so ethereal, so peaceful. naming the stars after random things in your head opened up a window of your childhood to run free. but the buzzing noise you mistook for a bee ruined it.

well, i suppose that time was over. you didn't want to really see him right now, but since he wanted to see you i guess you were down. don't get me wrong, you love him to death but you wanted a little more time to yourself.

you sighed as you sat upright, your body laying an imprint in the grass. glancing one last time at the night sky.

"so this is where you've been."

MILES appeared behind you, making you jump a little. he smiled at your reaction to his sudden entrance. he liked sneaking up on you to see your little reactions to it. "don't leave me on seen, cariño."

"when did you get here!?" "probably 10 minutes ago. you were so out of it you ain't even know i came here."

he shifted so his head was laying in your lap and he could get a good look at you. he looked tired, overworked. he looked like he was ill. you asked if he had been taking breaks like you advised but he stayed silent, breaking eye contact with you. he was a stubborn one, that's for sure.

"i came lookin' for you at your house but your parents said you went for a walk. didn't expect to find you here." "likewise."

"so what're you doing here? lookin' at the sky?" he shifted himself so that he was looking beyond the horizon too. he always displayed being interested in what you liked. even if he was awkward with it sometimes.

"yeah, call it a safe space if you will. been doin' this since I was a kid. i've always liked stars."

you told him everything you would do whenever you got the chance to be like this. naming stars, telling your dreams. it was comforting to tell someone more about you. the real you, and what you enjoyed to do. he liked listening to you ramble on, but he had a question to ask but you spoke over him.

"sorry, what?" "which star is ours? y'know, like one we can be associated with. always." "well, I hadn't considered that-" "you weren't thinkin' of me? damn, ma.""you know I don't mean it like that!"

but which one was yours? you didn't know. you assumed neither did he. all the others were taken, for sure. you hit him playfully as he laughed. he just loved being a tease to you. he looked back and pointed northeast of the sky. "how about that one? burns the brightest like my love for you."

he was right, it really was the brightest in the sky that night.

so interestingly enough, some ppl have been pointing out that maybe miles42 is slightly older than 1610 miles? and i was like "yeah maybe" but looking at miles42's face more and more lately i'm... i'm starting to see it? :o

like if you just compare the jawlines and cheeks, it actually looks like 42 lost some more of the baby fat 1610 still has

and even without the Dramatic Ink Lines, 42 still looks like he's older than 1610 by at least a little! he has slightly more defined cheekbones imo

its kinda hard to tell with limited camera angles and weird lighting tho. there's also the possibility that bc 42 lives in a household that's clearly struggling financially, one could argue he just happens to be not as well fed as 1610

not only that but the different murals they have of aaron in 1610 and jeff in 42 are also completely different. i've heard ppl pointing out that jeff's mural looked more worn out but actually.... the one thing that strikes me is how simplistic jeff's mural is.

almost as if someone younger than 1610 made it.... someone who lost their father at a younger age and started growing out their hair to braid it around that same time. someone who developed an effective routine with their uncle also around that time, and who's had it down pat by the time 1610 appeared in their universe...

but what do yall think?

He doesn't blame you for any fights you get in, it's always the other person's fault. In his eyes, you are innocent (even if you are not)

If you get into any type of altercation with a guy he's quick to find out who they are and rough them up (if he doesn't kill them first).

He already gets angry when girls fight with you, but he's a gentleman so he can't hit girls. So a boy, he is definitely going absolutely insane.

"¡¿Un tipo te hizo esto ?! DEMONIOS NO, ¿cómo se ve? ¡JURO que lo voy a matar!"

If you are just walking around with him whether it's in school, after school, weekend, and some girl you fought tries to come for a rematch (because she got her tail whooped) he would definitely be quick to protect you even though you aren't scared.

The girl would literally EMERGE from the shadows and start walking towards you

But Miles quickly grabs you and puts you against his chest

The girl walks away.

Because lowkey she's scared of him too.

He definitely patches you up if you have bruises.

He's definitely the one breaking up your fights at school because he knows when you get set off you have a hard time stopping.
