crazy scientist person and their adopted cannibal daughter for the win!!!!
Tumblr media
finally posting the oc stuff i've been meaning to. these two freaks have captured my heart and i want to just share them. Natalie Bukowski-Turner is a 13 year old girl who was just trying to get home from summer camp (which was cut short due to a 'stomach flu outbreak') when the end of the world began. without spoiling too much (in case i change everything in the future) the zombies are essentially made of candy, this girl is nothing if not a sugar addict. though it doesn't help she doesn't have too many food options right now
anyway murder child and science mom

Can we hear about your fallout ocs? 👀
Yes, yes you can
Tumblr media
-wiggles fingers- these are my lovely ladies
Fair warning for those reading, the Fallout universe can get EXTREMELY dark. A handful of my ocs experience very intense things involving heavy drug use and sexual assault (though I won't be going extreme detail on either), so please bear that in mind before reading on.
TW for mentions of drug use, rape, forced prostitution
-
Millie Dubrovhsky - Fallout 1
The og vault dweller! Millie was a teacher in Vault 13, married with a little girl of her own. She's incredibly naïve and woefully optimistic, choosing to blot out any negativity or danger that crosses her path rather than face it head on (this does not last).
She also has the bloody mess perk. If you know, you know.
Ruthie - Fallout 2
Millie's grandbaby. She's big and buff and powerful, but also not very bright. Most everyone thinks her mother came up with the Chosen One prophecy to hide the fact that she had a fling with some wandering vagrant that visited the tribe.
Ruthie's hard and reckless, but she tries her best
Annie Soo - Fallout 3
My lone wanderer, and the one who's arguably been around the longest! She's a brat and a prodigy and a daddy's girl who falls in love with every boy she meets. After her girlfriend breaks up with her and she loses her home, she decides to let loose in the worst ways possible (lots of sex and hard drugs like jet)
There are zero consequences to her actions (turns out there were many consequences to her actions)
Charter - Fallout New Vegas
My courier six. Real name is Sofia Rivera. She moved from her hometown of Arroyo in order to become a famous singer in New Reno, but was trafficked into prostitution by her "manager." After being arrested by NCR on drug charges, she escapes their women's correctional facility and returns to Reno in order to slaughter the men who put her there.
After fleeing Reno, she finds a dead mojave express courier on the side of the road. Decides to take his name and his job. Anyone who questions this has a habit of winding up dead the next day.
Maryann Wallace - Fallout 4
My sole survivor. She's a hardened perfectionist and an absolutely ruthless lawyer who rarely ever loses a case. It's evident that she cares more about winning than upholding the law when she helps a man who very clearly murdered his wife and brother and got off with a light sentence (and then she marries said man).
She's the definition of a cold-hearted bitch, even in the wasteland.
Roelyn Foster - Fallout 4
Originally my courier six before she got shelved for Charter, now she's just a side character I keep for 4. A really kind and down-to-earth gal with a mysterious past. She showed up on Piper's doorstep one day and now she just sort of lives there, babysitting Nat whenever the journalist is away from home.

anyways thank u for asking about my girls, I love them all very much

Part 7: Heavy the Crown that Wears the Burden
While the others worried about having another magical being on the team, Noctua enjoyed her evening with Wanda. She had showed her some American and Russian dramas on the television. They ate sugary and fattening food from local take out places, and drank white wine. It was gluttony at its finest and it’s something she never had.
Natasha couldn’t believe how a room of supposed heroes could be so afraid of a girl who was literally hiding in the woods out of fear for her life. Oddly enough most of the female teammates agreed with Nat’s view on the girl. When the ridiculous meeting ended, she headed down to Wanda’s room where they were laughing and chatting. It almost looked like two normal girls just having a regular slumber party.
She smiled at the scene, “what’d I miss?” Her tone was overly exhausted as she grabbed a box with orange chicken in it. Noctua smiled, “I taught Wanda how to make a french braid, it was lovely.” Wanda nodded displaying her braided hair, lined with daisies, “it’s very pretty.” Nat said ever so gently touching the flowers. Again, this only proved that the girl was a gentle soul, but the three women in that room had at one point all been enemies to the men in the opposing room.
The next months were spent in hard work and training. She’d gain some callous on her fingers and weight on her body. Her skin glowed in an olive tan, the paleness gone with the feeble girl. The team would watch her spar whilst using her powers. It was unlike anything they had ever seen. Wanda was proud of how far she’d come, considering her youth.
While most of the team saw this as something to be proud of, the former Russians of the group couldn’t help, but being reminded of their days being trained ruthlessly. Especially after one of her most recent sparring sessions where Carol had knocked down the girl causing her to bleed from her mouth. Though the doctors said it was not serious it was still uncalled for.
Steve had noticed how his friend was reacting, it piqued his interest. On a rather more calm night he finally asked him, “are you starting to feel something for Ruthie?” Bucky had a good poker face though, “I just think you’re overworking the newbie is all. Either way she won’t use any physical tactics.” He shrugged it off, but Steve knew his friend, he knew all the tell-tale signs of some kind of affection that was growing.
Meanwhile, behind the bedroom door Noctua was over the over dramatized training, “tenebrae they fight like animals. I do not need to fight, that Carol girl made me bleed! They found that encouraging! Why am I here still?” She was exasperated with the situation she was in. The entity listened to her complaints, “it is the safest option my dear. Besides, you have a mission to accompany soon, don’t you? You will prove your strength soon enough.” She shook her head knowing there were other ways for her to show them her usefulness, and her good intentions.
It was true though, she’d been grouped with a few others in an extraction plan. There were copious amounts of information being stored in enemy computer systems and it was vital that the files be retrieved. She was looking forward to using her powers for a greater cause, but the cost was turning out to be more exhausting than what she was hoping for.
Tenebrae knew she was growing weary of these people, even if some had proven their kindness was genuine. However, if the truth was already unraveling, which it would agree it was, she would have no choice. The inevitable was out of its control, souls were much older and intricate things. Forces stronger than it demanded that it handle this with a delicate touch, after all it had given her the strength to basically be considered its spawn.
Knowing all this, it cleverly came up with a way to soften the situation, “well my dear daughter. I have a gift, so long as you are still willing to go through with this mission.” Her attention was now on what it was going to give her. It spoke to her once more, “I’d like to bring you some comfort, prepare for something grand.” The words haunted her for the rest of the night and into the next weeks.
Tenebrae watched as the others looked over her, their gazes intent on seeing how she would react as the date of the mission neared. However, she was calm and collected, her curiosity still laid in what gift the entity would have waiting for her. She was giddy with excitement at the proposition she was given. Her new friends were glad she was starting to warm up wholeheartedly to them. Of course the sergeant still kept his distance, not as cold as anymore yet still rigid at times. Steve figured he meant no harm now though, especially since they would be working together for this mission.
Finally, it came. The night before departure, the last time she would see her chamber for some time. She was having such a calm dream, and then it was distorted, “are you prepared for your gift?” Happiness became her for the moment, “of course.” Following the entity through a haze her view came to two figures, a women with beautifully styled hair and a tall man in a crush velvet suit. They wore smiles on their faces, their eyes brimming with tears. Her heart fluttered, with a longing sigh her voice barely audible spoke, “mia madre, mio padre.” Even if only her subconscious, she felt like she was really holding them. She felt their warmth, her mother spoke with a kind voice, “you have grown so beautifully. You are so strong my Adelasia.” They explained this confusing thing, that she was named as representation of what they had seen in divination. That should we be a kind soul with a noble woman heart. Her father was named Barnett, as a noble man would have been. Her mother was called Dashiell, but was never formally named so.
They spoke of her life, they begged for forgiveness as they wished to have rid her sooner of the grief she had to live with as a child. She forgave them, and asked for more time. That was something they could not give her though, as someone had entered her chambers and she was to awaken. When she came to her senses and awoke, her face was covered in tears and her eyes burned from them. By her door was a a figure, “oh it’s only you. I have such amazing news to tell you.” Steve smiled approaching her.
Barnes wondered what happened, why she had cried to terribly. What pain could have come that could make such sounds come from her. His friend walked out of her room before he could begin to theorize, “thanks for letting me know Buck. She’s fine, it was just some dreams she had. Go to bed pal, we gotta head out in a few.” A quick pat on the back was given and nothing else was made of the spectacle. His blue eyes looked at the door for a second, he questioned if it would wrong to go in and ask her what she’d seen. His mind quickly raced and told him to do otherwise, to go back to his room. So he did, but he hoped she was okay. That the dreams were just that.

Scottish Tories humiliated after being 'snubbed' in Prime Minister's reshuffle
RUTH Davidson’s new Scottish Tory MPs have been dealt a fresh snub by the UK Government after failing to secure a single parliamentary private secretary post in Theresa May’s reshuffle.
Peter A Bell's insight:
The big mistake here is to think of the "Scottish Tories" as a distinct Westminster parliamentary group. That is how they have been portrayed by the media as part of the process of elevating Ruth Davidson to the status of 'Queen of the BritNats'. But the reality is that there are no "Scottish Tories". There are only British Tories. They may be British Tories from constituencies in Scotland. But that alone doesn't distinguish them in any way from all the other Tories.
At least as nonsensical as the idea of a "Scottish Tory" group at Westminster is the notion that this group might come under the authority of Ruth Davidson. Davidson has precisely no standing at Westminster. Whatever nominal authority she may have over the Tories' branch operation in Scotland, when they go to Westminster those "Scottish Tories" are just part of the British Tory herd. There is not a single Tory MP who doesn't take precedence over Ruth Davidson. They take their orders from the party Whips the same as every other British Tory.
Of course, in all of the foregoing one could pretty much replace all references to 'British Tory' with 'British Labour'. Precisely the same applies. The difference being that not even the British media would try to sell the idea of the British Labour in Scotland (BLiS) branch manager having any kind of clout at Westminster. Kezia Dugdale lost out to Davidson when the British media were looking for someone to present as pretender to the office of First Minister. And even BBC Scotland baulks at trying to paint Richard Leonard as the 'Hammer of the Nats'.
Much of the brassy shine may have worn off Ruth Davidson, but she's still the 'Great Brit Hope'. And that's as far as it goes. Davidson is being used by the British establishment Her utility is as a front. When the British media spin their tales of Nicola Sturgeon having been dealt a 'blow', somebody has to play the part of the one dealing it. Davidson's only qualification for the job is that she may be marginally more credible in the role than anyone BLiS might send along to the auditions.
Pete Wishart may be correct in assuming that those "Scottish Tories" being passed-up for promotion is a comment on their lack of talent. But when did an absence of any evident ability prevent a British politician achieving high office? If lack of talent disqualified an MP from ministerial office, how are we to explain Boris Johnson? Or David Davis? Or Theresa May? There is ample evidence that being stupid and dishonest and corrupt is no impediment whatever to advancement in the British political parties.
If the "Scottish Tories" being neglected by their bosses isn't entirely explained by them being considered unworthy to carry a minister's bags, what then? What other reason might there be for snubbing 'Ruthy's Troops'? Perhaps the fact that they are perceived as 'Ruthy's Troops'. There may be concern among Tory party managers about unintended consequences of affording Davidson such a prominent public profile. Maybe they're afraid that she could seek to give some substance to the fictional power. Maybe they're afraid that she'll be taken in by her own hype and get ideas above her station. There's already been talk of Davidson as potential leadership material. That sort of ambition has to be crushed at an early stage.
But there is another possibility worth considering. What is the point of launching MPs from Scottish constituencies on a career trajectory which can't possibly go anywhere? The job of Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) is generally regarded as a rung on the promotion ladder. MPs get to be a PPS when they are being groomed for bigger and better things. But what bigger and better things might a "Scottish Tory" MP aspire to? The introduction of EVEL - English votes for English laws - means that MPs from constituencies in Scotland are effectively barred from any of the high offices of government. With the sole exception of Secretary of State for Scotland, 'Scottish' MPs cannot hold senior ministerial posts because there would always be the risk of them being prohibited from voting on legislation for which they are responsible. Which would be rather embarrassing.
It stands to reason that the British parties would wish to avoid drawing attention to this anomaly - particularly given current constitutional tensions. Better not to put any "Scottish Tories" into positions which might prompt speculation about their future, lest someone point out that they don't have one.
All of which further illustrates just how dysfunctional the Union is. It is broken beyond repair. Time to end it.
