I'm thrilled to be part of the upcoming Rogue and Gambit fanzine, "Home & Harbor," and I am happy to give you a sneak peek into my contribution as a page artist. I had an absolute blast collaborating with talented writers and incredible artists. My illustration is heavily inspired by the '90s animated series, and it captures the essence of Rogue and Gambit in a single frame, but you can be the judge of that when the zine comes out. Romy friends! Here's my third and final teaser for Home & Harbor, the upcoming @rogue-gambit-fan-zine! Since pre-orders will be opened next week, I thought I'd share a teaser of my art for the front cover.

It was such a blast to get back into the drawing groove with it; and it was also a real honour to be able to be asked to do the front cover. I hope I did our fave Marvel couple justice! ❤️ (Because let's face it, Rogue and Gambit are just so damn hot!) 🔥

Preorders for Home & Harbor, a Rogue & Gambit Charity Fanzine are right around the corner and we contributers can finally show y'all a few sneak peeks of what's inside!

My writing piece for the zine was inspired by the infamous basketball game in X-Men #4 (1991), but finds our couple in more recent times from the comics.

I always adore when the X-Men are hanging out together as a family. And I've loved Rogue and Gambit since X-Men the Animated series, so I am beyond excited for X-Men'97! Let's go Romy fans! This is our year!

I know, yes, I promised y’all a Valentine’s Day fic. That’s coming. Soon. I hope.

But this post ain’t about that!

This is about a project I’m suuuuuper excited about, and have been positively itching to tease about. Well, I’m finally allowed to post a snippet!

So, without further ado, if I may wet your Romy palate with this appeteaser of my fic to be featured in ‘Home and Harbor’, the coming-to-you-soon Romy fanzine!

I’m also including the gorgeous art teaser by the delightful @theredtrails! She and I paired up for our contributions in the ‘zine, and I feel like we created a banger of a collaboration for y’all’s enjoyment 😁

A snipit from my story "Desperate Measures" in the Rogue & Gambit fanzine: Home & Harbor.

"Desperate Measures" is an Ultimate X-Men fix it fit, featuring our favourite Battle Couple kicking arse in their bid to Save the World. I just love seeing Rogue and Gambit doing their superhero thing together :) I collaborated with the wonderful @penguinofthewaddles-art-only, who did the amazing art for this story.

Rogue and Gambit stepped out of the lab and back into the bright, sunny day.

An energy blast burst between them. Gambit dodged hard to the side and hid behind a rock. He cradled the EMP emitter with his body.

Rogue looked down at the new hole in her sleeve with irritation.

The Romy Fanzine is almost here!!! Sneak peeks for all!!!!

I am beyond thrilled that I had the distinct pleasure of discussing, plotting and working with all the fine international talent that have birthed this zine @rogue-gambit-fan-zine !!!

I have been in love with these characters for more than 30 years, and it does my heart happy to know that I've found kindred spirits and we've made something amazing together!

I got to collaborate with @applejacks1552 on her fun and sassy fic by doing some fun sketches (below) and submit my own thoughts on Romy styled vacation (above)!

This zine is for charity, so all these wonderful people are doing this out of love for the characters. I really hope you check it out and decide to support the zine, you won't be sorry!! Let's gooooooooooo!
