It is currently 4:42PM on Monday, October17. Last night, I got about 5 hours of sleep. When I woke up, I was rushing so I didn’t have time for breakfast. Then I headed to my chemistry lecture, then my biology lab section, and then my 23L lab section. Between my chemistry lecture and biology lab section, I was able to get some lunch from Subway. After my classes, I made a quick stop at Target to pick up a few things. Then, I headed back home to my apartment which is where I’m at right now. For the remainder of the day, I plan to eat tofu and rice for dinner, finish my chemistry homework, study for my chemistry and biology midterms, and sleep early. I’ve been noticing how my lack of sleep affects my mood and ability to focus throughout the day. My main goal for this next week is to get a sufficient amount of sleep. I would rate this day a 4/10 so far. I woke up too late and I feel like my body is trying to survive on way too much caffeine. I feel as if my behavior and actions are simply on auto-pilot and I have lost joy and purpose in things I used to love. I also miss the gym and not having time to go has crucially worsened my mental health. I also need to go to the doctor’s to get my leg checked out because I think it’s getting worse or at the least, not getting better. I also now have lower back pain, but I’m not sure from where. I also feel myself catching a cold. I’m hoping that the remainder of the week is better.
