There were many weird things about Hermitcraft. From slimes in hoodies to music disks that played recorded messages, there were a lot that could be considered odd. One such thing was hermit player heads. The idea was simple, if kind of gruesome. When a hermit was killed by another, their head would fly off, as a bit of a souvenir. It became a solid block, able to be placed down and held, a completely separate unit from the hermit themselves. But it was still that player’s head, and sometimes, a player could enter one of their other heads to look through its eyes. Which meant that

“-technically, you could try and see if your head in in the castle and spy on the king!” Gem ended her crazy idea with a big smile.

Impulse scratched his chin. “I mean, there is that head of mine that Ren used to keep with him… it could be possible he still has it.”

“This is fantastic! Impulse, you could spy on the king all day! Like some kind of weird security camera! Please, try and focus in on that head! Do it for the revolution!”

So Impulse closed his eyes, and concentrated, thinking of Ren, thinking of the crastle, mentally reaching out to that other head.

“- Bdouble0, why are you serving me this dry kibble when I specifically asked for the wet kind?”

“Oh my gosh, I can hear him!” Impulse gasped, eyes still closed.

“Keep concentrating!” Gem said, gripping his arm.

Impulse took a deep breath, and then opened his eyes. And he wasn’t standing in his storage room with Gem anymore, but looking down a long wooden table.

“Sorry, my king, but dry kibble was the only kind of dog food they had at the store.” Bdubs came into view, and he looked down at Impulse, well, the head of him, anyway, for a second. “So, you wanted to speak to me, your excellency?”

“Yes.” Impulse felt a hand slap down on the top of his head, and Ren began to stroke his head’s hair. “Bdubs, I can’t stop thinking about how my private area was violated.”

“You mean the party, my king?” Bdubs sat in a nearby chair just within Impulse’s gaze. He was smiling at Ren with a deep devotion.

“Yes. And that rapscallion who planned the whole thing…” Ren scooped up Impulse’s head, and suddenly Impulse was staring into the eyes of the king. “Impulsesv. We should hire Hot Guy to arrest them. Bdouble0, do we have a jail?”

“No, but I can make one at once! What color scheme would you like it to be?”

With a gasp, Impulse pulled back from the head, and found himself in his storage room again.

“What happened?” Gem asked.

“Ren! He intends to have us put in jail!” Impulse said.

“So you were really in your old head?” Gem asked with a gasp.

“Yeah. It was weird, I could like hear and feel and see everything going on around me. Ren does still keep my head with him at all times it seems.”

“That’s so weird.”

“I mean it feels nice to have my hair played with- no, what am I saying!” Impulse shook his head. “We have to go into hiding- Hot Guy is going to be hunting us down soon! Get Pearl! We gotta go!”

As Impulse grabbed a few essentials from his chests, he thought of his poor head. The things that thing must see and hear on a daily basis… Impulse shivered, and was very glad he mostly stayed in the head attached to his body.

Saturday Six (oopsie I forgot) stuff

The yard sale went well! We made some money for new living room furniture (but damn that shite is expensive), and we got rid of some stuff.(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

After the pissy way dad left last Friday, he came back acting like nothing was wrong. Umm, excuse me, no, no sir.( ಠ ಠ )

I worked on accounting today and got my desk cleaned up. Now it's just the bank statements to go through. Go me!(•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑

I binge watched Dark Winds recently, and I loved it!ヾ(◍’౪`◍)ﾉﾞ♡

The new therapist wants me to take anxiety medication. I'm a bit leery, but I guess I'll be contacting the Dr's office. (╯︵╰,)

It felt really good to go back to my yoga, after missing a few days!（*´▽｀*）

In 2022: My Chemical Romance performed their 54th show of the 2022-2023 Swarm tour in Inglewood, California, USA. At this show, "Desolation Row" was performed live for the first time since 2011. Gerard Way wore a custom made vintage cheerleader dress for the second time, and a single tally mark was drawn on the drums. The majority of the songs performed at this show were from their first album, "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love". (🖤)
