what's a festa junina if you don't mind my asking?

i don't mind at all!!!! i love sharing stuff about brazil <3

okay SO. festa junina directly translates to "june party", and are sometimes also referred to as "festas de são juão" (saint john's parties) because we're in brazil and everything has to be related back to religion somehow LMAO. they are festivities that take place in, obv, the entire month of june, although some can last up until like, late august because by god do brazilians love a good party. traditionally, they're held to celebrate the harvest season, rain, and marriage (*cough* which is why it'd be great to celebrate it now with the spiderbit wedding on the horizon *cough*). it's brazil's second-biggest festival, second only to carnival ofc, and has very rural roots in its celebration style due to largely being a harvest/farming based celebration!

so!! festa juninas are typically held in wide open areas and absolutely COVERED in colorful decorations. largely banners, as shown above, but there are also different tents/stalls full of food, games, and other stuff for people to enjoy!! festa junina is kind of heralded as the best time for food/snacks bc it's FULL of sweets and other treats that aren't that common to find en-masse during other times of the year. as shown above, it's also super common for HUGE campfires to be lit (fogueiras) for ppl to dance around and stuff :]

due to being so heavily inspired by/created in rural areas, the standard dress code is very much of a stereotypical rural farmer (called caipira in portuguese!). the standard is for men to adorn straw hats, flannels, and working boots/pants, while women wear their hair in ribboned braids, dot freckles on their faces, and wear rustic dresses on top of it all! the dresses can be EXTREMELY over the top sometimes to the point of camp and i fucking love them so much. genuinely some of my favorite memories are shopping for dresses for festa junina.

as i said, games are a BIG part of it too! a lot of festa juninas are hosted by schools so they need stuff to entertain the kids, but honestly, as a grown adult i still will go to them in a heartbeat. they're largely the typical festival games of ring toss, three-legged races, etc, but i cannot put into words the certain Charm of them. like. by the time festa junina starts it's at least sundown, if not fully night, so all the stands are lit up by the yellow-orange glows of shitty lanterns/fairy lights and. ough. that is my heaven. (fun fact, me and my cousin once won like, a dozen goldfish from one of these. good times.)

and last, but certainly not least, i GOTTA talk about the dancing!!! we call it quadrilha, and it's kind of like square dancing, i guess? it's a very silly and over-the-top dance that's The biggest even of the night. the dance follows the story of a wedding ceremony (rehearsal? i can't recall) which again would be PERFECT for the current events on the smp.

and yeah!! there's a lot of other stuff and they can vary from region to region (i'd love for other brazilians to share things i may have missed :Oc) but overall they're just a HUGE event in brazil and for brazilian communities that really just unite everyone in one huge night (or nights) of partying!!

I named myself 😎 The name Miles came from Miles Edgeworth LOL Me and an (ex)friend really liked Ace Attorney and the joke is that I was Miles and they were Franziska, and because at that point I was looking for a name it worked nicely!

However with time I really didn't want my name super directly attached to anyone, thats when I figured Mikael out as like "A longer version of Miles" and to be my name name SDFGHJ

I still use Miles a lot and like Ace Attorney btw! if anything, lately I been using Miles online more than my name for the sake of not putting my full name on the interwebs lol

when was the last time you cried?

Help 0 idea. I used to cry a lot as a kid and now for some reason is really hard for me to do it dfghj not even as some kind of psychological hang-up or anything I just can't really do it.

Kinda? Normally just with people I am close to because if its with anyone else I worry it might be misunderstood.

I don't play sports but I do really like doing physical work! I used to do a lot of construction work like building frames when I was at college.

help I am very VERY selective with the kinds of horrors I vibe with so really happy endings pretty much 97% of the time (Fear & Hunger is the 3% lol)

Huuh I know how to take machines apart! And how to build many many things out of trash. Also by taking machines apart sometimes you learn how to fix them, but I wouldn't trust myself to fix anything super important lol

Caracas, Venezuela! And I moved to the U.S (Sadly) in 2017.

what are your hobbies?

Help what do you do when your hobby is your job. I do a lot of the "ough I been drawing this thing for too long, I better take a break and draw this other thing" LOL but huuuh when I feel like doing something else I play videogames. Also I have gotten into online roleplaying again and I been starting to write fics, different from the things I usually have to write for work reasons so I count them.

Saying art feels like a cope-out uuuh In Venezuelan highschool I really liked Literature and Biology was fun! And if we talk about college I didn't expect Sculpture to be my favorite but it was! And ofc I really liked Oil Painting (My concentration lol) and Illustration!

dream job?

OUGH I really want to work as an art curator in a museum :') or in general in a museum, put me to make an archive of historical stuff and I'll have a blast.

Another thing I would really like is working on set design! again I like physical work and traditional art so I would really enjoy it sdfgh Also also sdfgh my main goal is to make comics of my OCs lol but I don't... exactly want to work under an specific company (Maybe have a contract for publishing but my story wouldn't fully belong to them U know) so really my dream scenario is me working for some of the other stuff I want and also make comics on the side dfghj

Artisaint [Dancing's Done]

Played around a bit

Had a lot of fun making this piece, ajds;lkfja;sldkfjakl;skdfj, took me a bit over 3 hours...

some more fun stuff under the cut >:D (chat about process/alternative color one/song pairing)

First things first, this piece pairs well with this song, to me;

"People like you and me were born to run" my brain went "ough that's them alright" "Where we goin' when the dancin's done" and I was like "well yeah they're doomed to eternity aren't they... there's nowhere TO go" "Take me to the edge of afterlife" and I was like, very literal with this one i was like "oh yeah neither of them can ENTER the afterlife, they're stuck on the edge"

one where Saint is more blue to match, and Arti is more red to match, pretty simple, but I like both versions a lot, ajsdf;laks

The first one isn't evven their natural colors, it's just done for fun and such, and I thought those colors looked good for the piece, but then I wanted an alt wehre they were more red and I ended up liking it ! so I am sharing both

OKAY PROCESS LET'S GO

it was at this point I went "oh god is this too much for me?" "hey, it's okay Foxes, you just gotta try, okay?" and so I did

Saint and Arti<3 I did arti first, then saint, and I had a ton of fun figuring out how to do them, I wanted to limit the amount of colors I was allowed to use for them, 3 base colors for the body, then eyes I could do whatever (which was mostly for Arti)

It made me really think hard about what I wanted to do, and I'm really happy with how they came out

so close......

this is when I finished the void worm! I learned my program had filters so I went kinda crazy using them on this piece, asjd;flkajdsf;al

for the arti half, i was basically just using the sketch as a rough guide, and I was doing it one layer at a time

this centipede wasn't in the sketch at all!! but I thought adding it would help with the variety of things there, and with the balance of the piece, originally it was just gonna be another spear there

I really loved how it all looked, it was super fun playing with those colors, and I'm DEFINITELY doing something like this again sometime

My favorite diseased people. They grew so MUCH since i first created them and they are my comfort characters(tail to tail with my favorite couple Lake and Paul<3 i miss yall).

I first created Gallahad(the bowl cut twink) in may of last year in the character creator of ds3, bcs i loved Micolash(from BB) so much i wanted my own sick evil litle man to bully. So I threw him in Lotric with la Décharge(another oc of mine) and it was very funny.

In september i made a weird dream I drew here , where I meet Gallahad near my art school and we were both like " :emoji eye: :emoji eye: I created you..." so we started a chase in the streets at night and we did weird things. And so I loved the idea of Gallahad meeting his creator/creation as an actual piece of his story. So in september I finally create a design for Bediveré(named as such by the great JAVAR, Suczalka on instagram) and now hell begins. AHAHAHAHAHAH

With the help of friends, shitposts, dreams, songs and some book I've consumed I crafted their story and it still keeps biggering everyday. Their story is a tragedy, a dramatic one, ridiculous but also a dive into the human condition, the industrialisation, art and death. Id lie if I say there is no message I want to convey through them, but the message is so very linked with an unique biased vision that it can not be taken as a verité. So there is no message for you, only for me to enjoy and fangirl over.

Oh and, because it breaks my brain that I randomly found these; face claims idk whatever but OUGH them in real life(yes i WILL redraw the scenes from Dream in the witch house from Guillermo del Toro with bev I WILL(bcs i telling you, this movie is insane, everything is so Bev, EVEN THE COLOR CHOICE, when I first saw it i and Swampzik shat our pants on how ACCURATE EVERYTHING WAS))

4. What’s a hobby they used to have that they miss?

Hmm… Joel likes to do art, and I bet he used to make his own paint too from berries and whatnot. He probably stopped when he found out those plants were coming from his kingdom’s Worst Enemy Ever (this was before he knew Oli) and now he doesn’t remember how to do it right, otherwise he’d absolutely get back into it.

Oli's goofy with hobbies bc he's ADHD-coded /lh, so if he finds a new one he'll just disappear for days and forget society exists for a little while. He likes to play music and used to perform for his parents all the time when he was little, but as he got older and they got more busy he played less because he *needs* that audience to really enjoy it... he'd love to play more for Joel, but he's a little shy about it 👉👈

5. Can they cry on command? If so, what do they think about to make it happen?

Well Joel is always on the verge of tears anyway (/hj), so like... maybe not on command, but he can be set over the edge fairly easily (he's just good at hiding it around most people)

Oli absolutely can cry on command, he's a theatre kid smh. He'll tell people he thinks about dropping a cake facedown on the ground or dead puppies or something, but he's really thinking about losing his best friend, especially after his parents are gone :(

10. What fact do they excitedly tell everyone about at every opportunity?

Oh Joel will 100% tell you everything he knows about sniffers in a heartbeat 😭 he got that animal kid autism y'know /aff

Oli isn't as "fact-oriented," but if he's with Joel and also someone else then he'll put Joel on blast, who just blasts him back like--

"Hey! Did you know Joel sneezes if you poke him in the ribs?" -> ">:0 well, did you know Oli makes a funny sound if you scratch behind his ears?!" -> "Hah! Did you know Joel is afraid of heights?!" -> "Did you know you can put Oli to sleep by rubbing his nose like a baby?! >:("

14. How do they put out a candle?

Oli's the kinda guy to do the pinching thing tbh. He's gotta do it with flare~ ✨

Joel just blows it out, but Oli always teases him like "why don't you just flap your wings to put it out lol??" Joel says it's because it's inconvenient to turn around to do it, and his wings are too big for that, but he's also scared of burning them- his wings are delicate :(

16. What kinds of people do they have arguments with in their head?

Joel fights with his parents,, they were very good at reminding him that the only reason he existed was to be an heir for the kingdom and they didn't care about him enough to spend any time with him and he was nothing but disobedient after making his 'little friend' an- a lot of things. And even though Oli reminds him that he does have worth and their opinions shouldn't matter and Joel trusts that, it doesn't stop the echoes in his head </3

Oli probably fights with himself the most. He acts all confident and bold, etc. but he's an anxious mess on the inside. He also fights with the "voice of reason" too -- very "silencio bruno"-esque /lh

17. What do they notice first in the mirror versus what most people first notice looking at them?

The first thing Joel notices is uhh probably his green bangs? They're pretty vibrant and in front, draws your attention /lh, but other people usually notice his colorful freckles. Oli says they're like a rainbow leading to Joel's wonderful eyes <3

Oli probably notices his hair too? Y'know the like, hand comb thing cc!oli does where he combs his fingers through where his hair is parted? He does that a lot. But he's also got the softest brown eyes full of so much joy and,, ough they're pretty

18. Who do they love truly, 100% unconditionally (if anyone)?

Each other :(

They didn't always, they hadda get through a lot of "I'm supposed to hate you yk" before they really got close, and now they love each other a lot. Doesn't matter if the love is platonic or romantic what matters is that it was there and it overcame everything else, etc. etc.

Oli also loved his parents, and Ren + Martyn who are essentially his parents too, they get along very well <3

40. How do they respond to a loose handshake? What goes through their head?

Joel: “Oh moss, did I do that wrong?? Why didn't they shake back? Did I offend them?! Oh Devs, I’m so sorry, they probably hate me, or think I'm weird for shaking so tight, or--"

Oli: *shakes out hand with a grimace* “Wow, that was weird. Do they know how to shake hands?? LOL”

41. What phrases, pronunciations, or mannerisms did they pick up from someone / somewhere else?

Hmm... Joel's got a northern Mezalean accent, and will say things like "I fink / I havva / fank you / ohh blumin'-" etc. when he's tired or stressed or upset or otherwise high/low energy. (Y'know how cc!Joel shouts "EEFO!" and also cc!Stress' tweets? Yeah.) Oli won't necessarily talk like that all the time, but he will mimic and tease him about it hehe ^^

Joel picked up giggling from Oli, he used to rarely laugh at all but Oli's laugh (you know the one) is just so contagious <3

(And also from personal experience (/hj), they both say ourple/ouppy/kibby cat/etc. to be funny, but I dunno who started it)

46. Are they a listener or a talker? If they’re a listener, what makes them talk? If they’re a talker, what makes them listen?

Joel's a listener (because he'd rather just sit and do what he's told and not cause a stir, but if he really cares about it then he'll also Really listen), and he'll talk when he's invited to and/or trusts the person. Like if someone "wanted his opinion" on something but he thought they didn't really care he wouldn't really say anything, but if Oli wanted his opinion? Absolutely, here is it. (It's also dangerous for him, because if he starts talking sometimes he just doesn't stop-)

Oli's definitely a talker ahsjfs, extrovert boy- he usually can't stand silence and will just keep talking to fill the emptiness because if he doesn't he'll explode, but you better believe he'll start listening like a loyal dog the second Joel opens his mouth.

53. Who would / do they believe without question?

I… feel like Joel would believe anything Oli said no questions asked, but Oli’s too much of a prankster and Joel's too gullible for that to end well 😭 maybe I'll say each other but only if there's like the Code Enacted that means What I'm Saying Is 100% Slash Serious, you know?

56. If they’re scared, who do they want comfort from? Does this answer change depending on the type of fear?

They'll usually go to each other for most things because y'know they're very close and trust each other and it's just easy to, but it does depend on what it is too.

Like if Oli's worried about Joel, he's not gonna go to Joel, he's gonna go to Ren or Martyn because he trusts them a lot too, but also they're "ew old parents smh" so if it's a "kid problem" it's bestie time.

Same with Joel, he'll go to Oli for most things (more so than the reverse, because Joel has less support people to begin with), but there are some things he just... can't. And it's times like those where he'll go to his mom for it -- not the queen, his real mom, the Mother Tree. She doesn't talk back in words, but even just curling up in her branches or under her roots is enough to comfort him :')

Yeah, Don will make friends with anyone! He's often torn up over them leaving, as well. Ghost just lost too much. He's scared to get close to people because they might leave, or he might leave, but the kids kind of kidnapped him, so.

Spirit thinks that Leo's unfocused but he definitely doesn't mind it. He does think a lot about "is this how I would have been had I not been the leader?" He loves Leo, though. He loves that he gets to be silly goofy and a kid.

Spirit thinks Raph makes a good leader when he's not panicking over his little brothers. He's got a bit of learning to do, and some helicopter brothering going on, but Spirit gets it. This Raph isn't as angry. He can't afford to be as angry and reckless as Spirit's Raphael.

Probably Splinter, considering he's more skilled as a ninja but also incredibly used to Rise logic fhgkdjfhg

Oh yeah Mike would have a GRAND old time with the villains. He'd love the banter, love the theming. God he'd be delighted. All the villains are confused because he always gets so excited to see them.

Yup! One way or another, Don gets mutated.

The TV shows, movies, books, songs, entertainment media. There might be equivalents in this dimension, but not all of them exist. He wishes he could read Justice Force stuff because that's what his Mikey was most into, but it doesn't exist in the Rise Dimension. There are songs he can't quite remember the lyrics to but the melodies are stuck in his head. Some stuff just. Doesn't exist here.

Bringing back the Michelangelo saying "So THAT'S where you've been you WHORE" joke for this one

Arguably yes. In another dimension, Splinter lost his son the same way Rise Splinter lost his mother. It makes him worry that he's going to lose his sons again, so he withdraws further, which only worsens his depression. When Ghost withdraws, the kids go and drag him out, because they know that they can. They probably tried, when they were younger, to spend time with Splinter even when he felt bad, but he snapped at them sometimes. They would leave, and he'd feel even worse about himself.

Ghost being around means he doesn't have to worry about them as much. Ghost can do that for him. Ghost is a better father than him. Like Ghost said, he's a terrible father. So why bother trying?

I feel like I've definitely answered this before or it's in the fic, but he likes to bake with Mikey and do drawing stuff with him. Ghost only does blueprints, so his drawings are all very technical, but Mikey likes to do this thing where he takes Ghost's technical drawings and paints them all wild and colorful and it's a very nice juxtaposition.

With Leo, Ghost geeks out with him. They read Jupiter Jim comics together, they watch Lou Jitsu and Jupiter Jim movies, Leo will infodump about theories and headcanons and basically fanfic ideas he has, and Ghost will happily listen. His big brother used to listen to is infodumps, so this feels like repaying him, somehow.

Raph and Ghost usually train, or Ghost shows Raph how to build things. Raph's a big guy, he's a bit clumsy, he's never felt like he could build or make anything before, not like Mikey or Donnie, who are creative as all get out. But Ghost shows him he just needs the right medium. Metal is good for Raph because he can bend it easily, and he starts enjoying welding. He helps Ghost with a lot of the bigger repairs around the lair. Otherwise, they'll sit and read next to each other. They get cozy.

Yeah. That's why during "Same As It Never Was" short story, when Ghost intercepted Freshly Mutated Lou, they both kinda just. Broke down to each other and then. Y'know. Raised the kids together. Co-parenting. Generally much better off than Ghost continuing to isolate himself.

As a complete animal nerd to the point where animals and animal behavior is basically a special interest of mine though, it REALLY scratches an itch when writers actually take how animals actually think and behave into account rather than just defaulting to stereotypical monster behavior. An injured animal IS the most dangerous thing you can encounter in the wild for a reason. They’re scared. They’re in pain. They’re worried you want to kill them and therefore think they have nothing left to lose and will fight with everything they have to get you away from them. On top of it all, Ghost has just enough of his mind left to seek stuff out but not know /why/ he does the things he does. He follows scents that are familiar. He didn’t chase the boys or lunge until they got too close. He still tries to hide. Leo’s right when he says Ghost still doesn’t want to hurt them, it’s just that for once animal panic and self preservation instincts are making him forget everything else. He doesn’t understand that they’re trying to help him. A scared animal doesn’t want to fight, it just wants to be safe. -- (Keep Scrolling Anon)

This is a very good analysis on what I wanted Ghost to feel like. He's in a massive amount of pain. He's scared. He wants it to stop, but there are things reaching for him. He doesn't know that he's hurting the people he cares about, he just knows that he's being hurt.

@hrshlandturtles Yup! Fridays seem to be a good day to do stuff. A lot of other fics update on Saturday or Sunday and Friday is a good time for people who were busy with school or work to read the chapter after getting back for the weekend.

not new but I love how all the souls have different colors in the aitiascope. rainbow stars

i liked how they had a whole frankingstein's monster thing going on with p10 pandaemonium. i think that's a fun thing to draw a parallel with re: ancients and their creations

i like themis and erich a lot. they're both children who long to be needed. themis has the gift of being something of a prodigy while erich was made to fail but they still found it in them to stand together cus they're just people in the end. how crazy it is to see where that privilege then takes elidibus in the future vs erich

i didnt realize it would hit in some weird way to see lahabrea see like...the reincarnation of his son living a very happy and fulfilled life as a mortal shard. so many complicated emotions in one quiet pause. knowing that you would have made the same choices that mirror athena's, knowing you spent this whole time casting judgement upon her, binding her, going back and forth on her, but seeing that in the future you'd take the same path. people born in one time leaving their scars upon people who don't fit in the mold like erich and then coming to terms that The Times have changed anyways. things you only made peace with in knowing it's been long over

athena's thing kind of makes me think they were expecting players to resonate more with endwalker's whole thing of you are not a tool and you are worthy of living even if imperfect based on past responses to the concept of the WoL. i think the raids straightforwardly reiterating so much of this is neat

OVERALLLLL i enjoyed pandermonium it was fun. the highlight really was erich and uncovering the thread of his existence was so satisfying and strange. reaching for yourself throughout all space and time. and i keep my opinion of themis as...i mean he even himself says it he doesnt know the elidibus of the future and can't speak for him. it was VERY enjoyable seeing the bits and pieces of him though

Too much blood and tears have been shed to give up now! It's their final standoff against the heroes in their pursuit of dream fulfillment...

Rrrr now I just want to make another drawing of the two main heroes of the story having awesome poses as a counterpart, but that will have to be for another time....!

OUGH just really need to gush about this because I drew this whole thing in one sitting, I put a lot more effort into it than I was initially going to, I was gonna do simple coloring but...nahhh just turn it into an awesome piece like usual xD

Fawful is holding a very particular gun...it's one I created exclusive for the story, Fawful calls it "The Actualization Double Dreams Mk I" but...we just call it "Dream for 2" for short! It harnesses the power to turn most desires from the wielder into reality. With Fawful's residual dark powers, he can manifest just about anything...maybe even bring the dead back to life? Hrm...well anyways, Casadora is also holding her weapon of choice, a scythe! Cas named it, and "her" name is Love! Just very pointy and lethal,,

omg hiiiii tumblr user any59 how are you on this beautiful beautiful evening ive just had spicy cocoa so i'm perfectly peachy.

1. ough this feels so tooting my own hornish but i like that i make a conscious effort to be kind even when its difficult or at my own expense or if its a tiny tiny beetle. gentleness is very important to me.

2. i'm very introspective and that's led me to grow so much as a person. when i realize something about myself i dont like (being a people pleaser, or having a hard time communicating with people) i work through it without being harsh on myself

3. my creativity, especially in writing. i've actually just got done doing some plotting for a wip i've had for 4 years now which seems like a lot but it has transformed so much as a piece from something a bit formulaic to something i'm genuinely excited about with so much intricacy and nuance

4. as you can tell i'm rather wordy and at times i'm embarrassed about it but i just enjoy looking at all angles of things and communicating it. every detail is important to me and so that's why i give very long and honest answers to things. its like brain maximalism i love things and thoughts. as a kid i didnt mind recess when my only friend was sick because i would have just as much fun wandering the playground lost in thought/daydreams

5. every day i become more myself and i've found a very cozy home in that, in a way i didn't before, in the way i move and how i dress and decorate and the foods i eat and how i like my tea black and feel the most joy on rainy days and love old movies and my antique books/furniture and julie london vinyls and how its often hard for me to be heard in crowded places because my voice is soft and my fascination with insects and the personalized mini-letters i leave in my friends birthday cards. i feel like a snail who's found its perfect shell. i think i spent a long time assuming the perfect shell had all the bling and color i felt that everyone else's had but, forgive me for the paragraphs and stupid metaphor, it's okay that my shell is quiet and soft and "boring".

Hello again! My previously mentioned travels have indeed been long and hard. I'm quite glad they're over, and that I'm healing. A fresh loaf of bread sounds lovely- I don't believe I've ever actually had fresh bread. Though, your face and company would be much lovelier, of course.

Ice cream and walks are always fun. I've been meaning to visit a custard shop in my post of town. My high school friend and carpool ride would take me there often, so it's quite nostalgic. On top of just having good food, hah.

Hoorah for a college deposit! I hope your major will be just as interesting and passion-sparking as you dream. Hoorah, as well, for knitting progress! Sometimes a shift in projects is what we need to see the old one with fresh eyes and motivation.

For armor, I do wish I actually had any, but alas. Instead, I alternate gender neutral dressed-up looks and incredibly camp outfits. Think Ashes vs Marius; those are about my two moods, when I'm not just in a t-shirt and jeans around the house.

For your next question.. If you were a candle, what would your fragrance be? Bonus points if you can give it a flashy name, or assign yourself a color as well.

to have never had fresh bread. . .this is a tragedy on the grandest of scales, and i wish dearly i could actually remedy it. fresh bread is to packaged bread as a warm, solid hug is to a high five. put a little butter and honey on it and ough. . .top ten snacks that connect you to humanity throughout history. my face and company pale in comparison (though i'm happy to provide the latter, even if the former is a tad more exclusive)

i adore both ice cream and walking, and am intrigued by this custard. some ice creams are made from a base of stirred custard, is it like that? or is it denser custards served not frozen, like puddings or flan or creme brulee?

those fashions both sound lovely! ashes and marius are certainly fantastic and, perhaps, eclectic when compared to the usual style, choices (but if you aren't a little eclectic then you aren't really living life). and a t-shirt and jeans is classic, certainly what i default to some days.

see, there's a conundrum here. i would go for some classic baked good (apple pie maybe, or fresh bread) scent, but those always end up seeming over powering and saccharine. i tend to prefer lighter scents, like "fresh cotton" or "spruce forest" and the like, but those don't quite seem to capture my essence as i see it.

additionally, i have a hard time narrowing myself down to any one thing. though theoretically i would know myself best, i'm hardly at an objective distance to declare my own signature candle. can i be trusted to accurately judge the ratio of smells? unlikely

that said, i do deeply enjoy the smell i get in my room when i've opened the windows for the first time each spring. it's similar to sheets that have been dried on a clothesline, which is similar to sheets that have been sitting in a clean linen closet for a while. very light, and it reminds me of a breath of fresh air and the feeling of settling into bed knowing the sun will rise bright tomorrow.

5. Anything you haven’t drawn yet but want to?

So much !!! there is so much I want to draw!! I have been dying to draw my idea of "the Great Ice Dragon". It would be a vertical piece focused in a taiga, the Great Ice Dragon would be almost blending into the landscape, unclear of where the trees end and the horns start. One of those things where you only notice the dragon after looking at it for a second. I've been trying to compose that piece forever but haven't been able to do it in a way that's satisfying to me,, But aside from that I plan to do more icon & expression work and finish up my Drawing Every Seawing Prince project ,, It's v frustrating because I have a lot I want to do but no time...

6. Which artists inspire you right now?

OUG UH. Good question,, I mean for my artwork Overall right now Hieronymus Bosch's landscape works are a big inspo for my set designs (for context I am a theater student pfbh, in the Staging Unit rn) and landscape paintings! And with dragon & character art I'm honestly taking a lot of inspo from artists like @/cinnamon-flame (beautiful use of color and shading just. so cool) and @/liliumaa (Have you seen their designs ??? the amazing depiction of emotion in their work?? so good!!), I know there's more but those are the first two to come to mind pfbh!! very talented artists <33

8. What do you like most about your own work?

Ough . UH ! GOOD QUESTION! I don't really know? I definitely like how I depict face shapes sometimes! And my wing anatomy has definitely been improving in a way I enjoy! But I definitely have a ways to go until I'm fully comfortable with my own work oug

Honestly i really enjoy the way you experiment with stuff. That WIP dump has an incredible amount of detail and its nice to see how things look before being finished. Your art is so interesting in the way its a mic of particular and abstract and i think many would enjoy glimpses into the process. Amazing use of colors, also.

demons are a lot meaner than ur average nrc student i'd say and wouldn't take too kindly for this random guy showing up and replacing their beloved lil cassy wassy

for protection reasons he'd probs stay at purgatory hall while lucifer ran around in circles trying to figure out what the hell is going on

he doesn't feel very welcomed by anyone, but he'd probably have Someone to watch over him vis a vis mammon at the begining, but probs wouldn't be him

honestly maybe if we forgo purgatory hall altogether he'd could stay with mephisto in his big big house he's got and he could be his guardian demon, that'd be fun

he IS freaking out a bit but tires to remind himself that he's done this once before, he can adjust again, althoughhh meeting literally satan and lucifer is a biiiit different than seeing ppl disneybounding to the extreme

he is really interested is devildom plant life though!! seeing how theyre similar to human world plants (and stuff in twisted wonderland) he'd esp be into how they can grow with such low natural light levels, cause even though pants like that exist, seeing how Every plant can do that makes him go wowie zowie
