Hi
How do you start a blog on a website of its own?
What to write in the about and what to publish as the first article?
1. First you pick a niche for your blog.
2. Choose a blogging platform. I recommend Wordpress.org / Wordpress.com. You can also use Blogger.
3. Choose a domain name for your blog and web hosting provider.
4. Download a blog template and design your layout. You can use Envato market place (I use this one but there are loads)
5. You want to start off with about 5 posts. Here are some things you can do to figure out what to write about:
a. Look at your audience. What are their pain points, concerns, and obsessions when it comes to your products?
b. Use sites like Quora where there are millions of people asking questions to get the best answers.
c. Use blog directories to search by topic.
d. Research competing blogs. Other blogs’ ideas for content in your niche can be a valuable source of inspiration.
e. Use Semrush’s Topic Research tool. With the Topic Research tool, you can enter any blog topic to get a list of related topics and questions that people are searching for.
f. Ask your readers. You can get feedback from your readers on what they want to read about by asking them directly or through surveys.
6. You can use your existing platforms, as well as Pinterest, or other social media platforms to promote your blog and drive traffic to it. It can be under your name or you can make an anonymous account.
7. There are several ways you can monetize your blog:
a. Sell a product or service. You can sell your own products or services on your blog, such as ebooks, courses, or coaching services.
b. Create gated content. You can create premium content that is only available to subscribers or members who pay a fee.
c. Promote external brands. You can promote other brands’ products or services on your blog and earn a commission for each sale made through your affiliate link.
d. Offer sponsored content opportunities to other brands. You can offer sponsored content opportunities to other brands that are relevant to your niche.
e. Provide coaching services. You can offer coaching services related to your niche.
f. Market your freelance writing skills. You can market your freelance writing skills and offer writing services to other blogs or websites.
g. Participate in affiliate marketing. You can participate in affiliate marketing programs and earn a commission for each sale made through your affiliate link.
8. You can use a free image website like: unsplash, pixabay, pexels or canva to create content.
hope this helps!

I'm not sure you need people to announce that they're just here for fun? it's tumblr...surely that can be assumed?
i dunno sometimes it seems like when you say this stuff it's a bit of a straw man argument because I don't really see anyone on here taking this stuff that seriously. we are not larries! no one is claiming Paul's kids are fake or anything lmao. yes people like to look at the history but again it's tumblr, it's just for fun.
maybe there is a whole other delusional side to beatles tumblr that i am not seeing, but i think maybe if people are getting mad when you argue with their dumb little posts it's just cause they think that you, in fact, DO want to spoil the party!
I have been waiting for someone to make this joke ever since I got that url. Have had to make it myself often <3
1. "we are not larries" is an incredibly low bar.
2. the specific contents of theories isn't the only thing that makes them conspiratorial. it's about the way they're argued.
3. Actually, I am thinking of One Specific Event from about a year and a half ago that was treated as people "spoiling the party" when in fact it was an example of good faith engagement with a seriously worded discussion post.* Maybe you missed that, and it's not like it's a super common occurrence. But in hindsight, I don't find it surprising given the climate here.
*I can provide more details on this specific thing in DMs if someone is curious. I don't wanna hash it out on main, especially since I was only peripherally involved.
4. This isn't about whether tumblr is your space to have fandom fun – I do assume that. It's about whether someone is making arguments in jest or if they mean them seriously. Both of these things might be fun to someone (but maybe I could have worded that point better in the original tags).
5. No, no fake kids, and this fandom isn't plagued by a central figure who's to blame for all the "bad stuff". Plus, it's "decentralized", so no singular entity is controlling some super specific narrative. This definitely keeps the space in check. That's part of it though: it's all very sociological, which makes my issue difficult to address because most single posts aren't a problem in of themselves, but there's a tangible vibe to the whole thing. That's also why I want to tread lightly here; I know a lot of it is a joke, but it's hard to tell what isn't. Like, yeah, I've been passive-aggressive lately, but I've also been watching this for a long time. And I regularly see things I perceive as a strawman against my position as well as absolutist rhetoric, which reads just as much as picking a fight as any of my recent posts do. If you talk about there only being "one explanation" for something, what is that, other than putting forward your theory as true? Is it really Not Serious? Every time? Even when the post is presented in a serious way, with sources and evidence? People on this site talk about what they expect Mark Lewisohn to include in his Definitely Trying To Be Serious And Factful biography series. Those demands are never serious? And I don't want to just ruin people's fun for no reason! But I also have a hard time dismissing every single thing that Sounds Kind Of Serious as Probably A Joke (and I do do it, pretty regularly) And I semi-often see people doing things that set off my alarm bells, even when they are not proclaiming Stella McCartney to be a lifelong actress. (reminder that several people on here freaked about the For Paul tapes story being semi-debunked last November; like actively scorned people who were trying to figure out how that story came about and where it originated. That's not normal, sorry to say! And, funnily enough, about a year ago, there was a blog on here pushing a very very very esotheric version of McLennon [and even trying to monetize it] and while most people dismissed them for the kook they were, they splashed onto the tumblr scene in an identical way [saying something that amounted to: "how dare you imply this apocryphal Paul McCartney quote might be fake?"] –––– so my question is: is it not that serious? I Don't Know You Tell Me!)
6. This is @ me mostly, I guess. I just feel like this space has become more and more of a monoculture. Shipping is the default angle with which everything is approached. If John and Paul write songs that are maybe not about each other that's not often seen as worth diving into. (See: Beautiful Boy tinhatting). I actually want to try and change this; get more diverse content on this site, but I guess I assume it's not welcome, which is on me, really. I have slides explaining my specific reading of Double Fantasy (yes, seriously) and there isn't really much stopping me from posting them, outside the fact that most people on here seem to have a very different relationship to the songs from the album than I do, so I assume they won't care. But y'know, I'll try to just Make More Content and see what that does. (For the record I know that sounds whiny. And I do seriously want to do better on that front)

Todays rip: 26/02/2024
Shopping on Star Road
Season 2 No Album Release (Read More) Game Over (OST Version) - Super Mario World
Ripped by sadkey
youtube
Requested by bobthetacocat! @bobthetacocat
There's a part of me that really doesn't quite know how to approach this rip in particular, for a few reasons. Sure, I've covered hip-hop themed rips on the blog before, including other lo-fi ones like Yoshi's Cookie World and Stickerbrush State of Mind - but with those and others, I've felt like I've had a story attached to them to tell, to sort of make up for my lack of knowledge on the rap scene in general. I still heard the name "Lil Peep" around from time to time, but knew nothing about the guy or his work - and further wasn't even aware that he's now been away from us for close to seven years, after his passing in 2017. Like I said with Through the F-F-Fire and the F-F-Flames, there's an added difficulty in talking about someone's legacy after the fact when you never really felt like you knew them to begin with. Those were, at least, the thoughts I had when receiving the request to cover Shopping on Star Road. And then I listened to it - and then, I dug deeper.
On SoundCloud's official Wikipedia page, Lil Peep is one of ten artists listed as examples under the "SoundCloud Rap" sub category, a label many of you are likely more familiar with than I've ever been. I recognized the names of several of the other listed examples, of course - XXXTentacion, Playboi Carti, Juice Wrld - yet never put it together that they were all born under the same umbrella, the umbrella of SoundCloud as a platform. This community formed of creators expressing themselves with as much honesty and raw emotion as possible, a sort of re-emergence of emo expressions as told by individual rising stars...The more I read, the more fascinated I became - and, of course, given my brainrot, I couldn't help but draw parallels to the SiIvaGunner channel itself.
Much of the joy of SoundCloud as a platform is how...unrestricted it is, as a platform. There's little in the way of licenses, little moderation, no reason for quality control - from what I've gathered without using it, its able to act much like your average social media in that you can post practically anything (that isn't hate speech) and have a chance of getting noticed. There's little pressure to perform, little direct monetization: it is, in its purest form, an audio playground. The idea of "SoundCloud Rap" came about from that culture as a result, to just perform and release something without the pressure of a perfect mix, of perfect vocals and mastering, effectively "venting" in the form of music. There's an aura of sincerity to rap music like Lil Peep's Star Shopping, with a simple beat that sets an immaculate vibe alone, with vocals that speak from the heart, with flow carried by emotion despite the music's simplicity.
And, like, I know it sounds a bit insincere to draw a connection between this thing that I'm not very invested in, and the thing this blog is about that I am VERY invested in, but...that sort of sincerity has always been a huge part of SiIvaGunner's appeal to me. Be it in stupid bits where the mask of the parody occasionally slips with a laugh, such as Can't Say Goodbye to Yesterday - as performed by Bob Dylan, or mashups where you can feel that each source was picked out with affection like vs SAYU (Based Version), there's an aura to many SiIvaGunner rips that make you feel...connected to the people behind them. A connection not all too dissimilar to the one formed between the artist and listener with music as unfiltered as SoundCloud's often is.
There's that, and of course that several of the team's oldest rippers, such as toonlink of Dr. Soulja fame, initially got their start doing the very same thing they do now on SiIvaGunner, but on SoundCloud. It was this messing around with other "rippers" as part of what was then called the "SoundClown" community that SiIvaGunner creator Chaze the Chat cites as the primary inspiration for starting the channel all the way back in Season 1. With this shared history in mind, Shopping on Star Road gains a new sort of meaning - a sendoff from one side of SoundCloud's old guard from another, in tribute to a rapper who passed just as SiIva's own first season ended. It obviously helps that ripper sadkey has a fantastic ear for what he does, and would later go on to make one of the channel's most underrated rips of all time in Unstable Connection. sadkey, Lil Peep, the sentimentality born from the shared history on SoundCloud, and the Super Mario World Game Over theme itself, come together to make Shopping on Star Road one of the most soul-healing listens on the channel.
I never knew much of Lil Peep, nor know much of just how much he impacted people. But I can feel a connection to both him and the people who miss him through Shopping on Star Road and its comment section alone.

Are there any ways of making money online for free?
Hi,
Yes, there are several legitimate ways to make money online without any upfront costs. While some methods may not generate substantial income, they can serve as viable options to earn money without any initial investment. Here are some ways to make money online for free:
Freelancing Platforms: Join websites like Upwork, Fiverr, or Freelancer to offer your skills and services. You can provide services such as writing, graphic design, programming, and more, and get paid for the work you complete.
Content Creation: Start a blog, YouTube channel, or podcast. Platforms like Medium, YouTube, and various podcast hosting sites allow you to create and share content without any cost. As your audience grows, you can monetize through ads, sponsorships, or affiliate marketing.
Online Surveys and Reviews: Participate in online surveys and review products on websites like Swagbucks, Survey Junkie, or Pinecone Research. While the income may be modest, these platforms allow you to earn money or gift cards.
Affiliate Marketing: Promote products or services and earn a commission on sales generated through your unique affiliate link. Join affiliate programs like Amazon Associates, ShareASale, or ClickBank to get started.
Sell Digital Products: Create and sell digital products such as e-books, printables, or online courses. Platforms like Gumroad or Etsy allow you to sell your products without any upfront costs.
Remote Work Opportunities: Look for remote job opportunities on websites like Remote OK or We Work Remotely. Many companies offer remote positions that don't require any investment from you.
Virtual Assistance: Offer virtual assistance services to businesses or entrepreneurs. Platforms like TaskRabbit connect you with individuals who need assistance with various tasks.
Online Tutoring or Consulting: If you have expertise in a particular subject, offer online tutoring or consulting services. Platforms like Chegg Tutors or Clarity — On Demand Business Advice connect you with those seeking assistance.
Online Marketplaces: Sell unused items on platforms like eBay, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace. This allows you to declutter and make money without any upfront costs.
While these methods don't require financial investment, they may demand time, effort, and consistency to see significant returns. Always be cautious of potential scams, and thoroughly research any platform or opportunity before getting involved.
Thanks,
Mahmudul Hasan

Does website traffic make money?
Yes, website traffic can definitely make money. In fact, it's one of the primary ways that websites generate revenue. Let me break it down for you.
When you have a website, the main goal is to attract visitors and turn them into customers or clients. The more people that visit your website, the more potential customers you have.
And when you have more customers, you have more opportunities to earn money.
So, how does website traffic generate money? Well, there are several ways. Let's get into the most important ones.
Do you know? - “on average, organic search produces 36% of overall website traffic for these six key industries [finance, healthcare, retail, technology, travel & hospitality, and professional services]” – Conductor
Website Traffic Makes Money:
1. One of the most common methods is through advertising.
When you have a significant amount of traffic coming to your website, you can sell ad space to businesses that want to promote their products or services to your audience.
These businesses pay you for the exposure they get on your site, and the more traffic you have, the more you can charge for these ads.
You can also collaborate with advertising networks such as Google Adsense, Ezoic, Mediavine, and similar platforms.
By gaining approval from these networks, you position yourself for greater opportunities to generate income through advertising, which is based on the volume of traffic to your website.
2. Another way to monetize your website traffic is through affiliate marketing.
This involves partnering with other businesses and earning a commission for every sale or lead that is generated through your website via your unique affiliate links.
For example, if you have a blog about fitness and you recommend a specific brand of protein powder to your readers, you can include an affiliate link that directs them to the product's website.
If someone makes a purchase using your link, you earn a percentage of the sale.
Of course, these are just a couple of the most important examples that are commonly adopted by website owners, bloggers, influencers, and other content creators.
3. Other ways to make money from website traffic include selling your own products or services directly on your site, offering premium content or subscriptions, consultations, or even hosting sponsored content.
4. But here's the catch - it's not just about getting any kind of traffic to your website.
It's about attracting targeted traffic - people who are genuinely interested in what you have to offer.
For example, if you have a website selling organic weight loss and vitality products, you want to attract people who are interested in health, diet, nutrition, and fitness.
These are generally the people who are most likely to buy from you. This is where SEO (search engine optimization) comes into play.
5. By optimizing your website for relevant keywords and creating high-quality content that appeals to your target audience, you can increase your chances of attracting the right kind of traffic.
SEO helps your website rank higher in search engine results, making it easier for people to find you when they're searching for information or products related to your niche.
“If you need to move the needle on website traffic and conversions, Site Architecture is often one of your toolkit’s most effective SEO levers” – Zyppy
As a bonus, you can further leverage your website traffic to build an email list by offering free, valuable resources as a lead magnet based on your niche.
Subsequently, you can nurture these leads through email marketing campaigns [via email service providers] and ultimately convert them into paying customers.
Comprehensive Ways To Make Money From Website Traffic:
Here are the various ways and methods you can utilize to convert your website traffic into profitable opportunities that align with your unique situation.
Tumblr media
In conclusion, yes, website traffic can definitely make money. But it's not just about getting any kind of traffic - it's about attracting the right kind of traffic and providing value to your visitors.
By focusing on SEO and creating compelling content that resonates with your target audience, you can increase your chances of turning that traffic into profit.

Tooth Gone
I got my tooth extracted. hooray
lol but seriously. I already feel substantially better psychologically just to have it out and not have to worry about it, and it hurts less than it has when it was at its worst already anyway. I'm glad I was at least able to be on top of my shit for long enough and consistently enough that I was able to get that done.
I'm still a little short on the financial side, and unfortunately I still haven't been able to monetize streaming or writing in any way yet. But really, I'm still in a very happy hobby space with both of those, and I've been very successful with school and work in the mean time. Partially because I sold a house last year, I'm essentially getting exactly zero dollars back on my tax return. So it may be another few weeks of grinding pretty hard until the end of the semester in the first week or so of May.
This summer, I'm going to be taking 4 full credit classes, so my school schedule is going to ramp up pretty dramatically. But I'm in a place where my productivity level and focus level is at all time highs, and I'm feeling more comfortable and fulfilled than I maybe ever have. Unfortunately again, I will probably have to reduce my content output a little. But basically no one is consuming it right now anyway XD
If you've stopped by the blog or my stream, I'd love to hear from you! I've been really interested to get feedback and hear from people who share interests with me, and I'm eager to build a bigger community of people that I feel like a part of. If you read my stories and you enjoy them, please please please share them, comment on my posts about them, send me a message, anything at all to let me know you're out there! Helping me share my stories with new people is the most important way you can help me meet more writers and content creators, share queer, progressive content you enjoy with people you love, and grow my channel so that I can keep adding more stories to the portfolio! Letting me know what you like and don't like, what you want to see more of, what keeps you coming back, and how I can help you see yourself in my stories is the most important way you can let me know that you appreciate the effort I put into crafting stories that speak to people, and help me get better and better all the time!
Anyway today I'm feeling very grateful after having several very bad weeks full of a lot of pain, stress, and depression. For anyone out there who reads this blog, reads my stories, watches the stream, hangs out with me on twitter-- thank you for spending some of your time with me and my weird thoughts!
the patreon can be found through my linktree if you want to support or check out my stories-- everything on patreon except the story outlines is available TOTALLY FREE. any amount you want to contribute goes directly to supporting me as a writer and content creator.
I've been posting stories sort of scattershot between a bunch of different profiles, but this week I'm going to migrate all of them over so that they're linked on both the patreon page and my writing blog, AB sci-fi. All of the stories will also be migrated to Google Docs in the process. I may even do some updates and edits 😉
Hope all is well with all of you! Enjoy the stories!
Catch you next time-

Hey, can I ask you a question about your blog itself?
Apologies if this is half-formed, but I’ve been thinking a lot about online/fandom spaces and what I want out of them. You’ve filled this blog with so much wonderful work, but at least to me it doesn’t feel overwhelming. It doesn’t seem to want to demand my attention in an endless, black-hole kind of way. I find it “quiet” if that makes sense. Not literally, because most of tumblr is literally silent, but like…mentally. Mentally quiet.
I’m wondering if you have any thoughts or advice about engaging in one’s interests online (particularly on the—and I use the term loosely and with mild disdain—‘content creation’ side of things) without getting lost in it. Or only getting lost in the good, fun, I’m-getting-genuine-joy-from-this kind of way.
I want to get better at being able to make things (and give myself the time and space to do so) without feeling like I have to find a way to eventually monetize it or grow it until it becomes a “thing” or else it isn’t worth my time to do. I guess I’ve spent my whole life trying to prove my interests are valuable, and now I can’t stop.
Anyway, since you are probably the only person with whom I am personally vaguely acquainted who seems like they’ve done that/built a space like that, I thought I’d ask.
PS, I’ve now discovered there’s not a 500 character limit in the ask box on mobile. Sorry in advance.
hi, @clintbeifong!
first off, thank you so much for your very kind words. i am so glad to know that you enjoy my blog in the way that you described; i love the idea that it’s a nice, quiet place for you.
second, i’ve spent the last several days considering what you’ve asked, trying to come up with a thoughtful response, and after all of my consideration, i’m still not sure that i have much practical advice to offer, in terms of specific “do this” or “don’t do that” kinds of rules you might follow.
instead, what i do have are some rambling thoughts on art and its value, which i hope at least somewhat apply to the topic at hand:
it isn’t at all surprising that you feel pressure to monetize your fanworks, because, honestly, that’s how things are nowadays—everyone is supposed to have a “side hustle;” we’re all expected to be “on the grind” as much as possible; with the advent of streaming and self-publication, activities that were once solely recreational (like playing video games or journaling) can now effectively be marketed; there is very little separation between the professional and private self, when employers and potential employers have access to your social media accounts and are constantly evaluating what you post in terms of how it relates to their brand.
that feeling of “if i can’t use it to make money or gain exposure, i'm wasting my time” is part and parcel of living in a late capitalist society.
but here’s the thing: art needs time and room to breathe, and the "payoff" from making art isn't always immediate.
obviously, there are times when making art can be profitable and can help you gain exposure. but it can’t be that way all the time—even for artists who are at the top of their games, who make their livings making art.
think about it: for every one famous da vinci* painting, there were notebooks full of his sketch work—line drawings which he, at the time that he was alive, had no intention that anyone but he and maybe his students and intimate acquaintances would ever, ever see. while some of it was draft work for commissioned pieces he would later profit from, a lot of it was much more aimless practice, and, in the cases of some of his more fanciful “invention” blueprint sketches, was just for fun.
* note that i'm choosing da vinci arbitrarily here. the same could be said of any number of artists, writers, musicians, etc.
while that work was half-formed and never meant for public consumption, was it less valuable to da vinci than his finished, “published” works, like the last supper?
though i can’t speak for the man, i have a feeling that if you asked him, he’d say no.
that work was practice.
that work was fun.
and practice and fun are two things that are crucial for every artist, no matter at what level or in what sphere they’re working.
so here’s the thing: fanart can make you money.
particularly, in your case, one of your multiple talents is making—lovely!—visual fanart, which is perhaps the genre of fanwork that best lends itself to monetization.
that means, in theory, you could profit from your work here—and lots of fanartists on tumblr and other sites do just that.
but even if you don’t make money with your fanart—if that’s not something you can do or that you want to do, even if the option is available to you—that doesn’t mean that your fanworks aren’t valuable on other grounds.
when you’re drawing lovely digital comics of cj cregg and danny concannon dancing, your hand doesn’t know the difference between that activity and working on a piece for your professional portfolio (if you have one).
it all still counts as practice—maybe focusing on different elements of the art than were you doing commercial work, sure, but practice all the same. it all acts in service to you getting to know yourself and your craft, developing habits, problem-solving, refining your techniques, etc., etc.
—and it does all of those things in addition to something else, which is allowing you to have a place to play.
with fanworks—whether they be visual art or gifs or fic or meta or memes—you get to experiment without worrying what an editor or employer might think. you get to follow your muse. make things on a whim. fix other people’s mistakes. make mistakes of your own with really no consequence.
while certainly there are occasions to do those same things in art in other circumstances, as well, in fandom, that’s the reg; that’s the function.
you get to play around and make things to suit yourself.
fanwork can—and, honestly, should—be totally self-indulgent.
you want to draw a million versions of the same couple kissing? go for it! write a bizarre au that will make sense to no one but you and maybe one other person who once had the same very niche summer job you did and happens to be in the same fandom? knock yourself out!
da vinci had his flying machines, and we have blorbos and “but there was only one bed!” tropes.
having that playground will benefit you, both by giving you a mental space in which to mess around and figure things out about your art AND by enriching your brain, helping you not to burn out.
having fun is an integral part of being creative.
so grant yourself permission to do it.
it’s okay to monetize your fanworks if that’s what you want or need to do—of course, paying attention to and respecting copyright law as necessary, so you don’t get your ass sued—but it’s also okay not to or not to monetize every piece. it's okay to draw or write or gif or analyze or meme something that will net you nothing more than maybe a few notes and a sense of personal satisfaction because doing so will benefit you in the long run, as an artist and as a person.
you’re not wasting time or effort because your talent isn’t a limited resource.
if it’s something that makes you happy to do, then that’s justification enough in itself to do it.
god knows the world can be miserable enough without us refusing ourselves access to what few outlets we have for joy.
now.
all of the above said, if making fanworks has ceased to make you happy, and if doing so is now something that feels like a chore to you, then the great thing about fandom is that you also have no obligation to produce content for it.
go play on another playground for a while! reblog other people's work without making any of your own. or step away completely! get back into your favorite video game or read a book or plan a birdwatching outing or do whatever it is that gives your brain a rest.
fanwork isn’t a job, and you don’t have to do it if it isn’t gratifying. you owe no one anything with it but yourself. you can always come back to it later if you want to.
and i guarantee: even if it’s been years, the second you update that wip, someone is going to be happy to get that notification. it doesn’t matter that half a decade has passed since you last posted a chapter.
if there is a sense of quietude or relaxation to my blog, it is because, at the end of the day, i make the gifsets i want to look at, i write the stories i want to read, and i ramble out the meta that helps me to make sense of the shows i like.
of course, i am always happy—thrilled!—when other people enjoy my work.
bringing others happiness is a unique pleasure.
but, ultimately, i’d still be giffing and writing stories and meta about two geeky middle-aged scientists in love and a bunch of overworked, underpaid doctors in chicago even if nobody else wanted to look at or read them because that’s what makes me happy.
i won’t pretend that it’s always easy not to care about the “rat race” aspect of it all—in my life outside of the internet, i'm a college english professor whose specialization is creative writing, so i absolutely understand the experience of opening up a wip doc for one of my fics and immediately feeling guilty for doing so because shouldn’t i be working on something i can actually publish under my own name, that i can potentially make money off of and that will help me someday get tenure????—but i do still firmly believe that no instance of making art is ever wasted and that there is inherent value in engaging in the act of collective storytelling that is fandom, even if it's not "profitable" to do so, in the traditional sense.
i don’t know that anything i've said here will prove useful to you, but, speaking solely as a fan of your work, i wish you well in your creative endeavors.
i hope your able to find a way to get what you want to out of your creative process and be happy with how you engage with fandom (or not).
thank you very much for the question! please feel welcome to send another any time.

How To Become A Successful Content Creator: 9 Tips
An individual who creates content for a digital platform, such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or a blog, is referred to as a content creator.
It doesn't matter whether they work for a company or agency in-house, freelance, or are independent (such as influencers).
The creation of virtual content has become increasingly important to the global economy. Those individuals who are monetizing themselves and their talents by creating content online are considered part of the creator economy.
An Internet entrepreneur whose main product is themselves and their unique talents are known as a creator.
People can reach an audience directly through the creation of online content, earning money through their own subscription fees or revenue-sharing agreements with hosting platforms. Partnerships and sponsorships with companies, as well as brand deals, can also serve as income sources for creators.
Creator economies are becoming increasingly popular among millennials and Gen Z, especially through influencer marketing and online courses. Dancers can record and post their latest routine and writers can send out new articles to subscribers. Everyone can participate in and profit from the creator economy.
Why Do We Need Content Creators?
Everybody who wants an online presence needs a content strategy and creation plan, regardless of whether they are a corporation, an organization, a small business, or an individual. Several marketing strategies are based on the importance of having an online presence. The use of strategic content isn't just limited to businesses. By boosting engagement rates, traffic, and other metrics like follower count, individuals bolster their personal brand presence and drive revenue from advertising. An expert content creator can significantly improve your brand's persona, increase traffic, generate quality leads, rank for relevant keywords, or increase your brand's ranking for relevant keywords. As a content creator, you can find work in agencies, in-house teams, or as a freelancer. In these categories, you can find jobs in design, photography, videography, and content writing. The pros and cons of each vary greatly by where you work but they should give you a general idea.
How to Become a Content Creator
Tumblr media
1. Build your expertise in a niche.
First, you need a topic for your content. You can choose anything. Creating content is not just about how beautiful your writing is or how magical your videos are. They do play a role, of course. However, content creation is primarily about your ideas. You can spend as much time refining your work as you like, but if you do not have something to share - or if you do not have the necessary knowledge - your efforts will be in vain. Just don't expect anyone to care. Creating successful content requires starting with an area of expertise or knowledge that you have or can develop. It's OK if you lack expertise right now. Rather, it's a fantastic way to begin. Take a moment to document your journey and create content around how you are learning, practicing, and gaining knowledge.

How do I make money online without spending money?
Hi,
Making money online without spending money upfront is possible, but it often requires time, effort, and creativity. Here are several ways you can explore:
Freelancing: Offer your skills and services on freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, or Freelancer. If you have skills in writing, graphic design, programming, or any other marketable skill, you can find opportunities to earn money.
Content Creation: Start a blog, YouTube channel, or podcast to share your expertise or interests. As your audience grows, you can monetize through ads, sponsorships, or affiliate marketing without significant upfront costs.
Online Surveys and Reviews: Participate in online surveys, review products, or join market research panels that pay for your opinions. While the income may not be substantial, it's a way to earn money without spending any.
Affiliate Marketing: Promote other people's products through affiliate marketing. You can earn commissions for every sale made through your unique affiliate link. Select products or services related to your interests or niche.
Virtual Assistance: Offer virtual assistance services to businesses or entrepreneurs. Many entrepreneurs and small businesses seek help with tasks like email management, social media, and customer support.
Sell Digital Products: Create and sell digital products like e-books, printables, or online courses. Platforms like Gumroad or Etsy can help you sell your products without significant upfront costs.
Online Tutoring or Consulting: If you have expertise in a particular subject, offer online tutoring or consulting services. You can use platforms like Chegg Tutors, and Wyzant, or set up your own services through social media.
Remote Work Opportunities: Look for remote job opportunities on websites like Remote OK, We Work Remotely, or FlexJobs. Some companies offer remote positions that don't require any upfront investment from you.
Virtual Assistance Apps: Join platforms like TaskRabbit, where you can offer your services for tasks in your local area or online. This can include anything from running errands to virtual assistance.
Online Marketplaces: Sell unused items on platforms like eBay, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace. This allows you to declutter and make money without spending anything upfront.
Remember, while these methods don't require significant upfront investments, they may still require an investment of time and effort before you see substantial returns. Additionally, be cautious of potential scams, and research any platform or opportunity thoroughly before getting involved.
Thanks,
Mahmudul Hasan
