#this was supposed to be a warmup but i got carried away.... i havent drawn in so long that its been hard to focus orz#im testing a new brush for fun. again.. i think i can use this for clean lineart..?? im surprised i went as long as i did with the#narinder brush honestly... but i wanna try something new so here we are again#if i could get my shit together id love to draw a model of his van because i have smth really cool in mind..i was looking at pictures#of old wooden caravans like the horse drawn ones and i wonder if i could combine that with the shape of an RV#i like the ones with a door at the rear bc it kinda lookslike a train caboose.. maybe he'd get someone to weld him a custom ride!!#idk how intricate and detailed i can design it without making it a pain in the ass to draw every time BUT i have a general idea#it would probably have a door on the side but idk if itd flip down to make a stage or upwards to make a roof?? and then theres a#curtain behind it where he would come out and do his show methinks.. ive been looking at pictures of camping vans on pinterest for ideas#i dont think he LIVES in the van since i mentioned his home is an old run down theatre when he isnt on the road. i wanna draw that too#but the RV should have enough for long travels like a bed and cabinets..? maybe a net hanging on the ceiling where all his props go#id like to think of ideas for a hometown.. toronto has a huge entertainment district so it would make sense for him to live there#although id also love to base parts of it from vancouver since id love to go back and visit </3#..would there be furth names for those places?? nyancouver... clawronto... whinnypeg (like a horse whinny)...#pawson creek.... purrlington... otterwa.. i love coming up with names lol#my art#myart#my oc#oc#sleight#laikas comet oc#fan character#fur#furry art

Functionally at least glaceon is finished. I'm still working on the base because I want to try adding some more verticality and texture
The wiring was annoying and I honestly think I did it better on leafeon but I do like the effect it has at a glance
The weapons came out pretty clean aswell. I still don't think I've nailed the "muffler burn" look on the barrels but I'm getting ther I think

Me: I'm gonna stop procrastinating and create a Les Mis comic! Finally, I'll draw something related to the main story!
Me: Okay step one is doing in depth research on the historical boats of the period (similar to the Orion), what these ships and their harbors would've looked like, and creating an extremely high-effort historically accurate 3D model reflecting that research--
Me: oh god. this is why Victor Hugo does all those history tangents...ive been in the fandom long enough to attempt to start making my own Digressions
#really though I think blocking things out in Blender has made illustration 200000000000 times easier for me#so if I adapt the ship Orion sequence#itll take some time to model a ship#it'll take a Lot of time#but once that's over I could crank out a comic adaptation relatively quickly?#because it's just doing yeah some painstaking handmade linework#but the general lighting/color palette/perspective of the background would be there#and the model wouldn't have to be perfect if I'm just using it as a base/painting over it#my other Easier adaptation I might do as a test first#is Jean Valjean's weird trippy dream sequence before Arras#v beautiful evocative imagery that would be fun to draw#and it wouldnt be complicated either#because it's just 'a town where all the houses are the same'#anyway

#actually eerie how you send this#when i'm literally . right now. just finished a lecture on Fish Hydrodynamics#so boxfish are these. fish. with rigid (boxy :P) outer carapaces evolved from their scales#this research team 3D printed models of different boxfish species based on preserved boxfish#and put em in a water flow tank#to test how aspects of their shapes affect swim speed/stability/etc#random fish event#i think your beam succeeded

hoyoverse is such a terrible influence i swear to god fe engage characters do not have unique models. i think there is a small medium and large model for each gender. theyre all little barbie dolls dressed up in fantasy armor. i understand using a generic model for background npcs but why should a company like nintendo be able to do something like that with its main cast? like ???
#my dad pirated it and was showing me the gameplay btw i did not buy the game as i have no interest in it#idk its one of the things thats always disappointed me about genshin#that the characters are all one of three base models dressed up like dolls and they will have like small variations in their animations#and nothing else to distinguish them or give them personality#these hoes are not passing the silhouette test#anyways.#txt

oh boy i also realized i need to play another dlc file up to tails and save before a cutscene so i can test stuff in-game too... i mean it is before any of sonic's sections iirc and i can probably speedrun the stuff before it so it's not too bad but man i wish the save i have at the end would work for that the way it works in base game
#soda offers you a can#i don't think this is spoilers but ask and i shall tag#the base game end is convenient if you're modding over sonic bc you can fuck around and test gameplay stuff#before running to the last emerald to trigger the last cutscene and check compatibility there#it's not entirely foolproof bc my sonic model had some eyelid issues i didn't notice until i did a full playthrough with him#but it's good enough#alas the dlc doesn't have such convenience so i'll have to uhhh play multiple files if i mod over the whole gang hee hoo

I just realised MBTI uses behaviour to predict personality but in science personality is used to predict behaviour 🤔
Using a personality model and focusing on traits might be more beneficial than doing MBTIs to figure out characterisation

>The primary source of distress came from the habitual Lemmings player in the house, who found they could no longer watch ads to build up their in-app gold. A workaround is being considered for this.
>The next ambition is to advance the Ad blocking so that it seamlessly removed YouTube Ads. This is the subject of ongoing research, and tinkering continues. All in all, a very successful experiment.

>YouTube blocking seems difficult, as the ads usually come from the same domain as the videos. Haven’t tried it, but all of the content can also be delivered from a no-cookies version of the YouTube domain, which doesn’t have the ads. I have asked my son to poke at that idea.
