I'm just so excited to see him and learn about his character. I think my favorite theory so far is that messmar is radagon and Marika's third kid and it seems to the most popular one about him too as far as I can tell.

hi! as stated in the description on Ko-fi, the books are scheduled to be shipped in April, i'll send out the tracking ID as soon as items are shipped.

sorry this is crazy to read, im new to SW so i cant comment on Padme but Gojo has more than enough power and opportunity to kill Geto or at the very least turn him in. Him not doing so is the reason why Geto can start a whole cult peddling racist rhetoric + abusing and killing ppl...for years. only when Geto goes after literal kids who are also Gojo's students that Gojo could finally do what must be done (and only after Geto had already beaten the students bloody to hell and back!)

the whole point of Gojo's character arc is that he's messy and dumb af about Geto (and the blue spring of his youth he's lost forever after what Toji and Geto did... it's literally the imagery of ss2 main theme song.... "the promised youth is never coming back" is the official promotion tagline of season 2 in Japan). he can't let go and he doesn't care it hurt other people in the process, until Geto went after his kids. and even after that his feelings for Geto (and his youth! his youth he's robbed of and still not over!!) is taken advantage of and becomes the catalyst to trap him in the Prison Realm.... which then leave Kenjaku and his gangs to kill and harm a bunch of other ppl???? including Gojo's students???????????

so seeing Gojo's story framed as sth noble and good (and somehow not enabling Geto's crimes??) to dunk on another female character is so mindboggling to me (and im saying that as someone who's made content for sugusato for 3 years now). wow.

i used to defend padme bc she was like, dumb and in her early 20s and we all made mistakes when we thought we were straight, and then i was like no i dont defend her she married a war criminal knowingly maybe she's a commentary on liberal women facilitating oppression, and then i watched jujutsu kaisen and saw satoru gojo at 17 years old after the worst 2 possible things ever happened to him be like "yeah this is the love of my life and i cant bring myself to kill him but im not gonna like, still be with him after he murdered a whole town" and you know what??? padme choosing to MARRY THE GUY after he commits a war crime and then HAVE HIS CHILDREN, while satoru gojo even in his immense loneliness and sadness is inspired to change his entire worldview and the entire society he lives in and mentor kids..........i fear feminism lost, padme is not escaping the dumbass allegations

One thing I truly wish for from the DLC is a complex portrayal of the relationship between Marika and Messmer. I highly doubt that Messmer will be depicted as a “momma’s boy”, but I also don’t want to see Marika portrayed as a cold, abusive mother who banished him for some unknown reason. He could have done things to deserve banishment, but we don’t really know anything as of now.

My point is, I want to see a different dynamic in their relationship. We have already seen Marika throw her Omen twins into the sewers because the Golden Order dislikes the Omen. I have some hope that they will try something different with Marika and Messmer’s relationship compared to what we have seen so far with Marika’s other children.

After all, Messmer is the only one so far to acknowledge her as his mother. Not to mention, the statue of Marika holding a baby (likely Messmer) is the only statue that depicts her in a positive light.

even before the DLC trailer i didn't think she heartlessly tossed the twins aside, and after the DLC trailer i believe that even more.

"Those stripped of the grace of gold shall all meet death. In the embrace of Messmer's flame."

there is a convenient executor for those shunned by grace, if Marika wanted the cursed kids gone, why hid them right underneath the capital where any nosy peasant could wander in the sewer, instead of just sending them straight to Messmer ... literally no one would be able to sniff out the kids since they aren't even in the Lands Between anymore.

Marika's relationship with her children can be interpreted many ways by different ppl, im not here to ruin anyone's fun, but in my house i don't think her actions came from a cold, uncaring place. all the established relationships in canon now are already complex, if you look at it in different ways.

Wondering if Messmer was just the only one to help/sympathize with Marika on the shattering of the elden ring. His relation to snakes, fire, etc, could just be that he turned himself into a living weapon taking parts of all of the enemies of the Erd Tree he could find. Momma's boy headcanon tbh.

until the DLC is fully out and confirms otherwise, i'll stubbornly cling to the mommy's boy theory fr fr 😭😭

with Fromsoft's track record of portraying motherhood (*stare at Bloodborne*) i simply refuse to believe they made the Mom™ in Marika and won't expand on her further or won't have a kid that is just...insane over her. prayer circle for that theory to be supported in canon because i have ART to DRAW if true !
