Look I love the pacing near the end of KKJ and 100% believe that abandoning the weaker monsters of the week format at that point was a good idea, but man it would’ve nice to see Sinbad and Jeanne ~officially working together~ under Access if not just for a couple of filler panels

Least favorite part/moment: it’s a little fuzzy, but that part where Miyako and/or Chiaki are dating because one of them has amnesia. Then in the end Miyako’s like ‘lol i knew by bff & Jeanne were the same person i just wanted to steal your boyfriend for some reason”. Like I said it’s been awhile, but the love triangle shenanigans were really frustrating.

What about it got my attention: I wasn’t really a big fan of Full Moon (which was really popular at the time) but I liked Arina Tanemura’s art style. So when I found all of Jeanne at a used bookstore I decided to take a chance on it

What about it kept my attention: It becomes like a weird soap opera. Once you get into it you just have to know what happens XD

Overall opinion: Still probably my favorite of Tanemura’s longer works.

Die “Most memorable” Anime Momente meines Lebens

Hier sind die Momente/Szenen/Episoden aus Anime Serien in meinem Leben die mir besonders in Erinnerung geblieben sind, weil sie irgendwie besonders waren und zwar im positiven, wie auch im negativen Sinne. Die Sortierung hat keine Bedeutung.

Die “Love-Making”-Szene aus Lady Oscar ist für mich definitiv unvergesslich XD Ich glaube das ist eine von zwei Non-Hentai Animes in denen ich eine Szene dieser Art gesehen habe. Ich denke Cutey Honey (ein Anime den ich nicht regelmäßig verfolgt habe) war der andere.

Wenn wir schon bei Lady Oscar sind, muss ich noch zwei weitere Szenen erwähnen. Zum einen diese Szene wo André mit Oscar dieses riesen Portrai von ihr beschreibt und Oscar erkennt das er praktisch nichts mehr sehen kann.

Und dann noch die Szene in der Marie-Antoinette hingerichtet wurde... oder war die Szene aus Nadine - Stern der Seine? ^^’ Ups, ist schwierig mit zwei sich thematisch so ähnliche Serien. Wo auch immer die Szene her war, ich kann mich noch gut daran erinnern, wie ihre Haube dann davon geflogen ist. Wenn wir gleich bei Nadine - Stern der Seine sind, so erinnere ich mich da nur an zwei Momente ganz besonders. Nämlich das erste Treffen der beiden Schwestern, die ja genau genommen Feinde waren, weil Nadine Uhrsprungs zu den Revulutionären gehörte.

Und dann die Szene wo sie diesen einen Typen der eigentlich auf sie Stand in Paris zurück lässt um mit der schwarzen Tulpe ihren Neffen und ihre Nichte gemeinsam groß zu ziehen. (Das war definitiv das richtige ship XD)

Machen wir Mal einen kleinen Schwung zu einer ebenfalls sehr alten Serie. Georgie. Die Einzige Szene, an die ich mich hier noch wirklich erinnern kann war die Szene wo das Mädel unterkühlt war und ihre Brüder es eine tolle Idee fangen die “Körperwärme” - Methode zu benutzen... *hust* Ich war damals noch kein Inzest-Shipper. Also... akward XD

Mila hat eine ganze Episode die mir in Erinnerung geblieben ist und zwar die als Tsutomu verunglückt. Mit der kleinen Schwester die aufs Spielfeld gerannt gekommen ist, der Schnürsenkel von Mila der gerissen ist als Tsutomu verunglückt ist, dass Mila das Spiel noch beendet und dabei diesen besonderen Angriff zufällig kreiert hat und dann auch der Moment in dem sie endlich ins Krankenhaus kommt und bereits ein Tuch über Tsutomus Gesicht liegt... es war schrecklich!

Eine weitere alte Kinderserie? Tico - Mein bester Freund. Hier ebenfalls zwei Szenen. Zum einen die, in der Tico stirbt und im Zusammengang damit (auch wenn es eigentlich eine andere Szene aus der nächsten Episode ist) auch noch die Szene in der Nanami verzweifelt versucht Tico zu rufen und Junior statdessen auftaucht und uns alle für einen Moment zum Narren hält. Man hab ich geheult.

Ebenfalls geheult habe ich nochmal als Nanami und Tico Jr. dann dem goldenen Wal begegnet sind und er den beiden erlaubt hat ihre Mütter noch einmal zu sehen. Mir kommen die Tränen alleine wenn ich an die Szene denke...

Bei den Kickers ist es die gesamte Rosenkavalier-Folge. Gregors Reaktion als er draußen die Blumen findet, “Aber die Blumen müssen wir klaun, das kann ja keiner bezahlen”, Victor als Schiedsrichter in dem kleinen Wettbewerb um Elsa und für die Kickers, plus die niedlichen Tierchen die Mario und Elsa am Schluss bei dieser Ultra-Cuten-Szene beobachten XD (Ja, die Tiere mehr als die Szene ^^’)

Jeanne die kamikaze Diebin der Anime hat für mich zwei Momente an die ich mich sehr stark erinnere. Zum einen natürlich die Kussszenen in dieser... eher depremierenden Episode, in der Chiaki Maron immerhin sagt, dass sie die Einzige für ihn ist. Saßen wir nicht alle “awwwwww”end da? XD (Ich finde den Manga trotzdem besser ^^’)

Und Maron die vor diesem Karussel steht, als Chiaki findet nachdem sie weggelaufen ist. Die Szene, nicht was danach passiert. Einfach nur wie Chiaki Maron vor diesem Karussel stehen sieht.

Sailor Moon hat eine Menge Magic Moments im positiven wie auch im negativen Sinne. Ich meine, so wenig ich Bunny und Mamoru als Ship mag, so sehr habe ich doch wie jeder andere auch für die beiden Anfeuernde Fähnchen geschwenkt XD Aber NATÜRLICH ist der Most Memoral Moment für mich aus dieser Serie mit HaMi verbunden. Nämlich Harukas und Michirus kleine “last resort” Nummer in den letzten Episoden der letzten Staffe, abgeschlossen natürlich mit ihrem dramatischen Abgang, der mich heute noch manchmal zum heulen bringt. (Best ship ever... really.)

Springen wir Mal kurz zu Nadia - The Secret of Blue water. Im Grunde gibt es da 2 Momente und eine ganze Episode. Einer der Momente, ist natürlich als Elektra Nemo ind Episode 22 konfrontiert. Mein Elektra-Fangirl Herz hat mir ihr geblutet und tut das auch heute noch.

Episode 36. Die Neue Nautilus. Elektra ist zurück. Die neue Nautilus. Elektras neues Attituede und Aussehen. Trotzdem ein kleiner Tropfen eifersucht. “Wir reden Später darüber.” Ein Kampf mit der neuen Nautilus. “ABER...!” XD Und erwähnte ich schon, die neue Nautilus? (Übrigens auch der Titel der Episode.)

Und natürlich die letzten ca. 10 Minuten der Serie. Angefangen bei Nemos... OTP-ist-Endgame-revealenden Abgang und Endend mit “Ihr wollte wissen was mit Sanson ist? Er hat mich, Marie geheiratet [...]” XD Als ob die Serie wirklich noch mehr unerwartete Überraschungen gebraucht hätte... (By the way... Marie macht hier einen auf super Glücklich, aber laut des Audio-Dramas war das Kind ein Unfall und Sanson war zunächst nicht soooo sicher über seine Zukunftspläne. Marie hat sogar damit gedroht es wie Elektra zu machen und ihr Kind alleine groß zu ziehen.) So weiter geht es mit Pokemon. Hier 1 Moment und 1 Episode. Zum einen ist es die Episode in der uns weiß gemacht wird das Pikachu Ash verlassen würde. Das war einer dieser “Ach quatsch, das passiert sowieso nicht... oder doch?” - Episoden XD

Und als zweites natürlich die Episode in der Ash sich von Misty und (vorübergehend) Rocko verabschiedet. Wir haben die drei so lange auf ihrer Reise begleitet gehabt zu dem Zeitpunkt, dass der Abschied echt schwer fiel. Nicht zu vergessen, das Pokéshipping damit getrennte Wege gegangen ist. (Wenn ich nicht später angefangen hätte Maike und Drew zu shippen, hätte ich bereits zu dem Zeitpunkt aufgehört Pokemon zu gucken - das hatte ich auch erst, aber ein Zufall hat mich dann mit Drew und Maike bekannt gemacht und so habe ich diese Staffeln auch noch geguckt.)

Digimon... oh ja... 2 Episoden, ein Moment. Fangen wir mit dem Moment an. Und zwar war es, zum Ende der 1. Acr der 1. Staffel als das Wappen der Hoffnung sich endlich Aktiviert und Angemon sich so zu sagen geopfert hat. Mein armer kleiner T.k. hat echt viel durch machen müssen und der Ärgert hört in Tri nicht auf - aber das ist ein anderes Thema.

Die erste Episode, die mir in erinnerung geblieben ist - und zwar positiv - ist natürlich genau genommen eine Doppelfolge XD Es sind natürlich die Episoden in der Pyramide mit Datamon und Soras Entführung. Die Taiora-Shipping-Galore schlecht hin. Und wo war Matt da noch gleich? - Ich schweife ab.

Die zweite Episode aus Digimon ist ein negativ Beispiel. DAS Negativbeispiel schlechthin. Die Digimon 02 Weihnachtsepisode. Ich sage nichts dazu.Ihr wisst alle was ich meine.

Weil wir gerade bei Digimon sind, es gibt auch zwei Momente aus Digimon Tri. Moment Nummer eins ist natürlich diese Onsen-Szene wo die Mädels im Männerbereich unterwegs sind. Ehrlich. Das ist diese eine Filler-Szene, die keiner wollte und jeder brauchte XD

Die zweite Szene ist wieder eine mit T.k. ich will sie nicht spoilern, also sage ich nur so viel: Sie ist im 3. Movie, bricht alle Herzen und ich habe Rotz und Wasser geheult. Mein Baby muss wirklich viel durchmachen.

Okay, als nächstes kommt YGO. Uh... das fällt mir ehrlich gesagt deutlich schwerer. Ich denke aber es sind auch hier zwei Momente. Zum einen als Yugo das Duelle gegen Raphael verloren hat. Ich meine WTF?! Who had seen this coming? Wie kann Yugi in einem “fairen” Duelle verlieren? Thats impissible! (By the way, ich liebe auch Setos Reaktion darauf. Fast so als hätte Yugi ihn betrogen - Little Kuribo stellt die Szenen in YGOtas übrigens ziemlich genau so dar, wie sie rüber gekommen ist XD)

Der zweite Moment aus YGO ist der Beginn des Duelles von Yugi und Seto gegen Darz. Dieses Badass-Team das in zwei Zügen ihre besten Monster beschwört UND fusioniert. Jeder andere Duellent wäre heulend davon gerannt und danach hätte niemals wieder einer ein Teamduelle mit den beiden bestreiten wollen so badass waren die. Und ich liebe einfach ihre Teamarbeit. Vor allem im Vergleich zu dem ersten Teamduelle in der 2. Staffel.

Inuyasha... Inuyasha... jah... da gibt es eigentlich fast ne ganze Liste, wenn ich mir überlege das es jetzt nicht unbedingt mein Liebster-Lieblingsanime ist. Zum einen ist da die Szene nachdem Inuyasha Kagome zum ersten Mal in den Brunnen gestoßen hatte, als sie zurückkehrt und ihn umarmt. Allererste Inuyasha x Kagome “awwwwwww” - Szene ever.

Dann ein Negativbeispiel. Die Szene zwischen Inuyasha und Kiyko in dem Wald die Kagome mit angesehen hat und Inuyashas anschließende Reaktion als er Kagome entdeckt. Anyone else who wished Kikyou jet another very painful death? ^^’ After killing Inuyasha first, that is XD

Dann gibt es da auch Inuyasha noch 2 Episoden, beide aus der Kenkentzu Hen (oder wie auch immer das geschrieben wird) Staffel. Die erste ist NATÜRLICH die Sess Episode in der Rin noch einmal stirbt und es zunächst hieß sie können nicht gerettet werden und... war Sess Gesicht nicht so unglaublich goldig, als Rin dann wieder aufgewacht ist? Awwwwww. Ich glaube das konnte selbst Non-Shipper-Herzen irgendwie erweichen.

Die 2. Episode ist die wo Inuyasha bessen ist und Sess gegen ihn kämpft. Die ganze Episode zeigt so wunderbar Sesshoumarus Charakterdevelopment. Ich meine, er unterbricht seine Suche nach Rin, um Kagome zu beschützen (schweigt ihr Shipper! Diese Episode war nicht für euresgleichen! XD), als er gegen Inuyasha kämpft, bringt er es nicht fertig ihn zu töten, nicht einmal wirklich zu verletzen und außerdem macht er auch deutlich, dass sich seine Meinung über Halbdämonen deutlich geändert hat. Vergleicht diesen Sess, bitten mit dem Sess aus den 1. Inuyasha Episoden. Der Mann ist echt einen weiteren Weg gekommen. UND ich liebe es, dass er seinen kleinen Bruder jetzt offenbar doch gerne hat.

Ansonsten... TRC, hier greife ich aber auf einen Movie zurück (während ich die bei den anderen Animes willentlich ignoriert habe) und zwar “Tokyo Revelations” und... ja... die revelations in dieser Episoden. Ich meine WTF?! Außerdem X Kameo und so XD

Bei Card Captor Sakura ist mir am ehesten in Erinnerung geblieben, wie Sakura kurz in dieser AU-Welt war in der es keine Liebe mehr gibt. Es war so scary. So... “das ist einfach nicht richtig!”, wenn ihr wisst was ich meine.

So.... ich glaube das war so ziemlich alles. Ist auch lang genug die Liste XD

1. What are your weird habits? Ehm... I like to crack my whole body? Is that a weird habit? It’s actually more of an annoying habit for others around me.

Also, I cover my ears when I hear an unpleasant or loud noise. No matter what situation. Even when I wear my head phones I’ll pull them out and cover my ears so I don’t have to listen to an obnoxious sound. Or in discos when the music is too loud, I have to cover my ears. I should buy some sound blockers for my ears...

Otherwise I can’t think of anything.

2. Any hidden talents? Ehm… i don’t think so. What is considered as a hidden talent? For starters I overthink a lot. That’s a talent too, right? Not

3. Have you ever thought about deleting your tumblr blog? Yes, when I wasn’t really using it, but then I kinda thought: Hey, I could actually use this for fandom purposes, so here I am.

4. How many books do you own? I legitimately counted them because I want to know as well.

Sheet music: approximately 500 (they are actually owned by my dad but he said to me that I own them too and I’ll inherit them [not my brother, hehe] when he dies)

Children books: approx. 68 Books I read, want to read: 133 School related (and that take up WAY too much space in my room): 170 In Total: 87, without sheet music: 371

That’s still too much... but if we only add the ones that I read for my enjoyment (children books and books I read, want to read) it’s “only” 201 books.

5. Languages you can speak or have had classes in school for? Mother languages: German, Vietnamese Learned in school: English, Chinese (forgot everything… I was forced to attend Saturday classes because of my parents -.-), French (I could have been fluent in it, if my father wasn’t so lazy and actually talked to me in french…) and Latin (do dead languages count?)

6. Favorite book (and author)? I don’t really have a favourite author and my favourite book is ‘Black Blade’ by Jennifer Estep.

7. Do you listen to Kpop and if yes, who’re your fav group and your ultimate bias? Yeah, I do and you were the one who got me into this, @thebookfreak… I’ll go with my vlive chemi-beat for the order and write down my top three: 1. Stray Kids 2. Monsta X 3. Seventeen

I don’t really have an ultimate bias because my biases are all amazing in their own way. For a while Vernon was my ult. bias but rn I feel like it’s no one.

8. Fav sport to play and/or watch? I love swimming and like to watch figure skating. It looks so beautiful on screen, but if you go on the ice and try to skate like them, you will fall down…

9. Your very first OTP? I think either Shinichi and Ran from Meitantei Conan or Maron and Chiaki from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.

I’m not so sure, because I’ve always been a fangirl when I was young but I wasn’t aware of it. Otherwise I’d saw KakaSaku is the first one I’ve been really aware of (Tumblr partly made me ship it…)

10. Last song you listened to? Pinwheel by Seventeen. It’s such an amazing song and I love it!

11. Your biggest weakness? I would say sweets and spicy stuff. Sweets because I can’t resist them and would it them if it’s offered to me or I’m craving them. Spicy because I can’t eat them at all. One bit of spiciness and I’ll refuse to eat it. Also existential crisis, anxiety and socialising.
