Hi guys,

Today's blog post feels like a 2010 throwback because I used to be obsessed with all things LUSH which if you haven't heard of is a beauty brand that do skincare, haircare and bath products. Back then I couldn't go a month without buying a bunch of bath bombs, annoyingly as I get older my skin started reacting to the bath bombs so I couldn't use them anymore and I didn't go to the shop as much.

However while I was in Brighton I decided why not pop in for old times sake and I rediscovered some of their skincare products that I used to obsess over! So let's chat about the products I picked up in my mini haul. The product I originally went to LUSH to pick up is the iconic Bubble Gum Lip Scrub , £6.50. I have always adored their lip scrubs and they are perfect to prep your lips to wear any lip products (especially matte formulas). It is so easy to use and yet it has such an effect with makeup application.

The next product I picked up is a limited edition product from their Christmas collection, the Snow Fairy Lip Jelly ,(limited edition) £8.00. I have always loved the scent of Snow Fairy and if you're a fan of LUSH you'll know all about this iconic scent. The Lip Jelly formula isn't something I had used before but it has to be the most hydrating lip balm formula I have ever used. Now it's colder I use more lip balm style products so my lips don't crack and knowing this product is limited edition I'm honestly tempted to pick up a few.

Lastly I picked up a product that if I'm being honest I completely forgot about until I saw it and that is the Mask of Magnaminty , 125g £10.00. Between the ages of 18 - 23 I was obsessed with this mask because it was the perfect product to help with my blemishes and breakouts and really helped at the time. Seeing it on the shelf I had to pick it up and see if it was like the original mask I adored. I have used it a few times and so far I am loving it, it looks and smells the exact same as it used it and leaves my skin feel soft and fresh.

also as a chronic eczema haver who has had some form of “skincare routine” since birth: moisturizer is not a scam. you don’t need drunk elephant, or some other expensive product (especially if you don’t have hell skin like me), but your skin is your largest organ and taking care of it by washing it properly, moisturizing, and wearing sunscreen is good actually. again, this isn’t about anti aging, this is about not having your skin dry up and flake off or not developing melanoma. also please drink water

Serum : Khamaré Brightening Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Okhamaré, 34,9€

Eye contour care : Anti-Spot and Eye Contour Puffiness Serum, Okhamaré, 26,9€

Day cream : Vanishing Cream, Lush Cosmetics, 32€

Foundation : Light tinted Serum, Deep 3, Solkem, 38,9€. This is not a foundation, but a true skincare product.

Tonique : Une brume maison composée d'eaux florales et de lait d'avoine, que j'utilise déjà

Sérum : Sérum Éclat Vitamine C au Khamaré Et Acide Hyaluronique, Okhamaré, 34,9€

Soin contour des yeux : Sérum Anti-Tache et Poche Contour des Yeux, Okhamaré, 26,9€

Crème de jour : Vanishing Cream, Lush Cosmetics, 32€

Fond de teint : Sérum teinté Lumière, Deep 3, Solkem, 38,9€. Ceci n'est pas un fond de teint mais un  véritable soin

I may have gone a bit overboard and spent like 80 bucks on my last trip at Lush but look how cuTe those bath bombs and bubble bars are. Honestly the Dark Angels face scrub was most expensive at like $17 but I’ve used it in the past and it’s totally worth it. Boyfriend approved also! (Also lush has glow in the dark bath bombs and bubble bars for the season!)

My Evening Skincare Routine

My skin type is Combination - Oily, I get congestion around my T Zone and slight dehydration on my forehead

STEP ONE: Wash my face with Lush Angels On Bare Skin Cleanser

STEP TWO: Spritz my face with Endota Balancing Face Mist

STEP THREE: Apply and rub Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum to my face

STEP FOUR: Squeeze 4 drops of Dermalogica Age Bright Clearing Serum into my hands and rub it into my face

STEP FIVE: Apply Mecca Max Chill Out Brightening Eye Cream under my eyes

STEP SIX: Apply and rub Go To Very Useful Face Cream to my face
