What's next?
Well, I have to make the bracket itself. As you can see, there's a bit more cats than I was intending to have, which means that certain polls in round 1 will have more than just two options. I can already tell you that a lot of the cats from the same fandoms are going to be eliminated in round one. That's why I kept them in. I'm planning on making up the first round match ups based heavily on the similarities between cats and the fandoms they're from. ALSO as you've probably noticed, some cats come in a bundle. That's because they're a family. I'm not doing this to Kitty Softpaws and Puss (at least YET), because even though they also get married in the end, there's a huge gap in their submission numbers. If you're wondering, how big, you may want to know that up to Tigger from Winnie the Pooh (that is, almost the entire first pic) are the cats that got 2+ submissions, in their order of popularity.
Next step - brackets!!! I want to do this well and I hope I don't underestimate certain fandoms!!!

In Equestria and its surrounding nations, every creature has a different idea of who created the universe and who rules the world they live in. Some believe they are ruled over by a goddess, others favor the idea of a male god. Each species has a different idea of how and when he or she revealed him/herself, how exactly this deity rules, and so on. It causes plenty of conflict as creatures argue over who’s right and who’s wrong, but what if I told you they were all a little bit right?
Gaia is the ruler of this magical land we know and love, but she takes many forms. She has been a pony, but also a hippogriff, a changeling, a dragon, and an array of other creatures. She has presented as male and female. Each species’ stories about her “coming” all have truth to them because she was there in one of her forms. DCA Info Part 59: Dorm Fairy Redesigns (Part 2)
View Part 1
Phoenix decided to change the Dorm fairies appearances to fit with her new art style and felt like their initial designs looked unappealing and a not quite diverse in terms of original design for fairies.
📚 Rosia
Original Rosia: Initially, Rosia appeared as a small fairy with green skin, red hair with her bangs slightly curled at the tip, hazel eyes, red eyeshadow and green wings that resemble leaves.
Rosia wears a long green dress with red triangular trimming. She also wears a collar that obscures her mouth and is shaped to look like a rose.
She accessories with a dusty gold three pointed crown with a pearl on each point.
Current Rosia: With a more stern look but elegant design, Rosia now has yellow skin, brown eyes and brown curly bangs. She now wears a dark red and green sleeveless dress with the skirt having two flowy layers. The dress's collar still resembles a rose and frames her face in a flower like way. Rosia now wears a crown of three gold roses and her wings now resemble stained glass and have a gold outline.
🏝 Luna
Original Luna: Initially, Luna appeared as a small fairy with violet skin and dark blue eyes with pink eyeshadow, with a white swirl design below her right eye. She has long purple hair that's tied into a ponytail with a gold band and her bangs cover her left eye. She has violet colored wings with a gold outline
Luna wears a periwinkle crop top with sewn-in off-the-shoulder straps and puff pants of a similar color with a pink veil that flows down, just below her knees and golden curled shoes.
Luna accessorizes with a flower hair clip, with the bottom layer being mauve and the top one being pale pink. In the center of the clip is a blue circular jewel.
Current Luna: Luna's new design now bears more of a resemblance to that of a genie as well as Princess Jasmine. Luna now has mauve colored skin and her off-shoulder dress is now light blue in color. Her wings now resemble mandala symbols. Luna now has a "tail" that resembles smoke. Luna's new accessories include a white flower hair clip, gold circular earrings, and gold bracelets.
🐲 Cinder
Original Cinder: Initially, Cinder appeared as a small fairy with red skin, pointy ears, golden horns, green eyes, and pale chartreuse wings shaped like flames. Her head resembles that of a dragon and is the same shade of red as her skin and she has golden scales on her forehead and her lower jaw is gold in color. She also has two fangs showing. She also has a tail with a gold scale outline and a golden tip.
Cinder wears a red qipao dress with gold trimming and a golden scale pattern on the right side, with the pattern having bumps, resembling a cloud. The dress has a slit on the side with a gold bow on the top of the slit. The skirt is gold and has a mermaid silhouette.
Cinder accessories with a white fur collar. Cinder additionally bears a resemblance to Mushu, Mulan's dragon guardian and companion.
Current Cinder: Now with a more energetic look to her, Cinder is now a deeper red color and features blue teardrop markings on her forehead, a yellow jaw, white fur underneath her head, blue horns, a yellow "mustache", paw shaped hands with the interior of the paws being maroon, and a tail with a fur tip. She now wears a yellow and black martial arts tunic with a black sash, brown pants and a pair of black Kung Fu slippers. She additionally has an accessory in the form of an orange mask made in the likeness of Chinese guardian lions, the mask also has black stripes, white fur, green eyes and a red circular gem. This version of her lacks wings as Eastern Dragons can fly without the use of wings.
🍂 Skili
Original Skili: Initially, Skili appeared as a small fairy with light brown skin, amber eyes and yellow wings that resemble that of a dragonfly. Skili's head resembles that of an owl, with the base of her head being the same light brown color as her skin. She has pale yellow eyebrows, a yellow beak and a brown supercilium.
Skili wears a beige colored two layered dress with blue trimming and brown fringes. She also wears an upper shoulder shawl of similar colors with a gray upside-down teardrop jewel.
Current Skili: Skili's new design now bears resemblance to an eagle with brown plumage, the tan fringe dress now has a collar with a teal upside down teardrop gem as well the dress's second layer having teal trim with diamonds on it. Skili also wears a teal crown with diamond patterns on it.
🐸 Lillie
Original Lillie: Initially, Lillie appeared as a small fairy with pastel green skin, blue eyes and bears resemblance to a frog, with her lower jaw and chest being a paler shade of pastel green. She also has pale yellow wings, which resemble firefly wings.
Lillie wears a two layered green dress, with the top layer having a rounded triangle hem and the bottom layer is a darker shade green and has a rounded arch hem.
Lillie accessorizes with a necklace of chartreuse colored pearl beads and a hat that resembles a lily pad.
Current Lillie: Lillie's current design is now a slightly brighter shade of green and she now has golden blonde hair in a beehive hair style with various pale beige flower decorations, as well as a headband of white pearl beads with a lily pad with a white flower on it. She wears a green dress with the bodice having pearls and yellow details while the skirt has green trim above yellow trim that resembles flower petals. She also has a white boa and a dark green sash with a white flower on it. Lillie's wings are now pale yellow in color.
Trivia
• The white flower in Luna's redesign is likely a reference to the flower that Aladdin gives to Jasmine during the “A Whole New World” music sequence.
• Cinder's current tunic colors bears a resemblance to those featured on renowned Hong Kong actor and martial artist, Bruce Lee. Phoenix states that this is more of a coincidence since she wanted the yellow and black to stand out.
• The reason Phoenix chose a Chinese Guardian Lion to be Cinder's Mask was due to the fact in Chinese culture, lions symbolize power, wisdom and superiority.
• Skili went through the most redesigns.
• Phoenix made Skili an eagle as eagles are a symbol of strength, wisdom, and courage in Native American culture.
• Lillie's current design is a reference to the fact fact that while Perrine's appearance took influence from Tiana, her behavior is similar to Lottie.
