Prompt: 30 - Monster: A swarm of bats
Daniel had tried to take getting lost in the maze in stride, there we so many twists and turns that it made sense for him to get lost. There was nothing he needed to worry about. He turns a corner and begins walking down the next path when he spots someone on the other end. "I thought I was all alone in here." He calls out with a laugh before looking up as the sky darkens. He squints, bats? Why were they out at this hour?

Prompt: There is rot, so thick in the air that it’s impossible to block the scent. It’s unclear where it’s coming from as the plant life is wilting but not horrible, but characters get the sense there are bodies, maybe many of them, right beneath their feet.
Shanks looked around, covering his mouth with his hand when he smelled something rotting. Growing up around the sea, smells were not new to him. Bodies were not new to him. But this smelled like it was a lot of them. "Here." He handed his bandana from his belt to the other person. "Cover your mouth with that." He was looking a little bloodied and bruised from the maze but he was still standing. He would always remain standing.

"...helion?" how she knows who's there with her, she has no idea, but eleni is absolutely certain that it's him. "are you alright?"

anakin & ahsoka ( @tragcdysewn ) prompt 4 - a dead end leads to an open coffin in the ground. in order to progress at least one character must get in and close the lid.
"snips, is that a coffin?" anakin asked, turning to ahsoka, brow furrowing slighlty as he did. he'd noticed the dead end behind it as well. "do we turn back and try to go somewhere else or do you want to try and use your lightsabers to cut through at the end.

Another dead end sends the genius back the way he came, he certainly can’t keep up with what path he’s already taken when everything looks the same. A noise in the far distance has him slowing his pace further until he comes to a full stop, a sigh falling from his lips. “I just want to get out of here.” He mutters, eyes scanning the end of the pathway that he could see. “Huh, that’s really cool…nope, not fake-that’s real.” He takes off in a run, muttering under his breath.

Characters briefly have a moment of extreme self awareness, where for just a second it is as if they see giants in the sky, sitting on laptops and puppeteering their every move.
(¸.• ♛ → he wanted to find team, they split up by accident while they were walking in this maze from hell. however, now he needed to try and find a way out of this place as soon as possible. "i feel someone is with us here..." he knows that maybe he feels a bit paranoid but he couldn't help it, the thought was there. "we need to find a way out."

after nearly a week trapped within the maze, many have found their way to the center. either a quiet clearing, or a beating heart that appears to be the life force of the maze itself. most citizens have seemed to believe that this was near the end, that it was a sign they'd nearly found there way out, but unfortunately, that's not the case. as you pass out of these sections, you find yourself in the latter half of the maze, and the second half is where the true nightmare begins. gone are the silly monsters and obvious traps, and in their place are true psychological horrors, the likes of which could drive a man to madness. you've survived the first half, but will you make it to the end with your sanity intact?
OOC INFORMATION:
happy spooky season! congratulations to muses who have managed to get through the maze so far, but as they've progressed and adapted so has to maze holding these characters captive. as a result we've got some updates for you in terms of possible situations, as well as a small update to the death table. though we've done chaotic events in the past we wanted to make something that could be considered a proper horror event, and hopefully this table will provide that for all of you! we hope you all have fun with the update and can really enjoy spooky season with this!
THE MAZE:
FIND THE SECOND MAZE TABLE HERE
all of these prompts can be presumed to take place after characters have passed through some midpoint of the maze, however you are not required to write a thread in the middle of the maze in order to progress to the second part, you may simply jump forward whenever you like
please note, these prompts are definitely more intense than the first table of prompts, with many leaning into psychological horror. if you're uncomfortable with many of the prompts you're welcome to stick with the first table for the entire duration of the event. this plot drop is optional.
some of the prompts are left open ended in terms of exact and you should feel welcome to interpret them as you wish. if you're really unsure about whether or not you can do something don't hesitate to shoot us a message!
CHARACTER DEATHS:
character deaths still operate the same as mentioned in the original event post, in which there is a list of potential death effects that can happen to characters.
while a smaller update there have been some small editions to the death table found HERE.
as before please make sure to send any character deaths in the discord, or dm the main if you are not in the discord.

feel free to start transitioning threads, making new starter calls, whatever feels like the best way to go about incorporating the plot drop!
