Can I just say that I love THIS?
As a chubby person who struggles with finding romantic relationships, it makes me so happy to see modern kids cartoons with chubby characters getting into relationships and seeing thin characters have a crush on them! It may be silly, but when I think about these, it gives me more hope that maybe one day, someone will fall in love with me, and they won’t care how my body looks, they’ll just want me, for me. 💕

Okay I noticed something [Spoilers for AA4]
IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS FOR AA4, DO NOT READ FURTHER. THANK YOU.
I was playing the second case of the AA4 game (the one where there's Wocky in it and the whole thing where "herr forehead" comes from) and i noticed something odd. So I went to the little thing where you can look at the sprites and everything.
Take a look at this line from the game.
He's smiling, right? Typically when you see someone smile, you think that, you know. They're telling the truth. That they're not lying to you. That make sense, right?
Take a look at this still. (Forgive me for the shitty quality of these things, by the way)
This one is called "being sincere" and yet he, too, is also smiling. Though it's more... Small? More of a faint smirk? I would describe it as such anyway. It's more of a smirk. It's more of a casual thing. Like whenever you get someone a bottle of water and they say "thanks man" and they actually mean it.
Now. Take a look at this last screenshot I'm about to show you.
Take a look at the name of this one.
Confident.
He's confident in this stance and you see him like this at least once, to my knowledge, in the first case with Kristoph where you find him guilty. You see him have this exact face and see him wear it proudly.
Now think back to what I said earlier. What his first line was.
"I'm not an attorney anymore. ...That's the only truth you need to know."
He's not an attorney, but you can see it in his eyes that he misses being one. That he, deep down, wants to go back to what he used to do. Because of his smile and how you see him look in his "being sincere" look, you can tell that he's lying out of his ass.
Phoenix Wright, while disbarred, may have hated the thought of being an attorney. That much is true. But he still yearned for it when he was on that defense stand and yearned for it whenever he had the chance to be one again.
Phoenix Wright was always meant to be a defense attorney at heart.
Oh also if you look at the one time when he says "oh i assure you it's quite based" you can't tell me that he had a giggling fit with Trucy afterwards like
you can't tell me this man said it like that with a straight face and then just went on with life like that. Especially if we think of the fact that this is probably during the time where slang and lingo is more modern like. Everyone's probably saying based and Phoenix hears himself saying that and his first mental thought is "oh fuck i'm becoming a gen-z adult" /pf

Have so much content words n tags filtered, Blacklisted to not see. A lot of dash is hidden. Over 3k+ users blocked. And am less interested in opening Tumblr much than usual.
Am not think our black transfem GF would be safe on Tumblr, so we can't even matchsies on here (she doesn't use Tumblr). So it's even less of interest...
Cannot accurately describe the weariness of logging in after partially recovering from the irl ableism+racism+victim blaming+family attempted suicide +moving extravaganza (global south / third world edition) we've been vague about,
To then have to see "HomeStuck discourse" back-to-back because of some Tumblr Polls - slip thru content filters, and excuses used to spam intense eye strain screenshots with that inaccessible water filter that messes with our head - with random trans woman of week's "weird post" in it am not interested in, when people can just block or something instead.
Along with other patterns of post contents and reactions unrelated to that, that are tiring.
End up closing Tumblr repeatedly when was looking for supplemental news to our main news reads of Palestine + Sudan + DRC + Haiti, accessibility, how to help others, our interests, keeping up w people's lives, and other stuff we *want* see.
Partially detered n drowned out by dramatic spectacle and "entertainment" like of being 17yo again on kinnie tumblr, except we're all grown and being hypocrites. Thus, tiring. Annoying. Cyclical.
Even the premise of the way criticisms is done here becomes "because racism bad - its funny n shocking, so Magz just has to see it a bajillion times"? is a logic am not understand at moment.
The Cognitive dissonance.
Am need to get out of here. But can't yet.
Am think a good portion of the people we follow aren't actually aligned with our values and interests and priorities and reactions etc, regardless of if "good person" or good intent or not, so with much solemness n contemplation - it'd be best of Magz to unfollow a bunch people later when have energy to deal with it.

SF Headcanons ROUND TWO
CW: Unbridled chaos and possible shitposting

Many find Pim attractive in a dainty boywife way, Pim who is seriously lacking in social cues didn’t realize at first when people where flirting with him.
Smormu and Pim love harmlessly gossiping to each other in the break room.
Glep killed a man with only his thumb.
Mr Frog made his own “neon green sauce” he advertised on some shitty website and Charlie was crazy enough to try it, he along with like 50 others wound up bedridden for weeks afterwords and they all sued the pants off Mr. Frog, not like it’s any skin off his nose because he’s the richest and most powerful man in the world or whatever!!
Charlie is a Cheech and Chong fan and he has all their comedy albums.
Pim competes with his sister Amy, like even though she’s the golden child Pim knows he’s got what she covets: that lovely figure of his! Pim decides to be petty one day and shows up to Amy’s wedding wearing a little red cocktail dress showing off his lovely figure knowing all the compliments he’s get. Everyone wonders why Amy is in bridezilla mode all of a sudden because it’s not like Pim wore white nor is it as flashy as her wedding dress so he couldn’t have deliberately upstaged the bride right?
Gwimbly attended a convention with his own panel and everything and gets legitimately emotional upon seeing dozens of cosplayers and fans overall who haven’t forgotten him long after he was abandoned by his crappy company.
Glep is a menace to society on April Fools Day, one time he let a hoard of frogs loose at the Spaghetti Disco and watched the chaos from afar.
Smormu loves wearing cute pastel clothes and she wears different ensembles everyday, she gets a lot of complements as she so deserves because she slays!
Dj Spits eats nails for breakfast without any milk. (Dj Spitz kinnies please DON’T attempt this irl)

vincent-vampire the masquerade: bloodlines. this one should need no explanation. vincent is literally a textbook toreador.
sam-stardew valley. he seems like a relaxing, slice-of-life type gamer. as much shit as he gives the gamecube, you know this man played the fuck out of animal crossing.
gavin-huniepop. yet another assigned game that should need no explanation.
huxley-minecraft. he build in the dirt. that’s all i got.
damien-little inferno. might seem a little on-the-nose, but the themes of escaping the grind of what everyone else is doing, a grind that is actively harming everyone, and seeing what no one else sees to escape that cycle, reads as extremely damien to me.
lasko-huniepop 2. don’t ask questions you don’t want the answers to. (it was either this or baldi’s basics. i’m allowed to slander him, i’m a lasko kinnie)
caelum-wobbledogs. cute lil alien puppies that you can feed and play with and crossbreed to make eldrich abominations that shouldn’t exist. i just know he would fucking love wobbledogs.
vega-fran bow. as much as i adore him with all my heart, vega is just very remor-coded. he beats up children. that’s all i gotta say about that.
milo-prey. 😇
david-destiny 2. i don’t have to explain it. you already know.
asher-sea of thieves. i just know my man is absolutely killing it with sea of thieves. he has a story about trying to take over a ship using a rowboat and accidentally going to the final quest of the game with the crew of that ship instead.
aaron-alien isolation. this one is based on pure vibes. i don’t got much of an explanation for this one beyond delving into a dangerous world your family member is involved in to save said family member.
elliott-valheim. i don’t know a whole lot about elliott, i’ve never paid much attention to his storyline, but he seems like the kind of nerdy guy to really enjoy valheim. plus, co-op game to play with his best friend and partner. it works super well.
camelopardalis-subnautica. he’d find it extremely relaxing and would adore all the fauna in the game. he has never killed a leviathan and doesn’t plan to. his favorites are the reefback leviathans.
avior-detroit: become human. kinda funny that this one goes to avior and not james, but avior absolutely has the vibes of a guy fully realizing that people entirely different from him have such life and value to them and gaining a new appreciation for them.
anton-hydroneer. i feel like he’d enjoy the logistics and openness of the gameplay. plus, the scenery is pleasing and aesthetic. he’d enjoy the foresty vibes of the starting area.
james-pokemon reborn. maybe it’s personal bias, maybe it’s just that the game has a bunch of dark themes involving world-ending disasters and one person being forced to make difficult choices to save it, costing several lives unintentionally and being separated from loved ones and traumatized in the process, but it fits him almost too well.
geordi-skyrim. geordi has logged thousands of hours in skyrim and no one can convince me otherwise. he mains a bosmer and is super proud of his challenge build he did where he followed the green pact for the entire game.
guy-don’t starve. he cooka da pizza. he would make sure you never starve. plus, i feel like he’d be really good at survival games like this, and he’d really enjoy the art style.
