More thoughts on Lilith, specifically, Lilith and Mary’s relationship:
Lilith put herself between the Tarask and Ava, the random girl who was the reason she was “passed over” for the Halo. But I think it was not just to save Ava, not entirely.
I don’t think Lilith ever stopped seeing Mary as a friend, even after their fights over Ava, even after Mary told her they stopped being friends the day Shannon got the Halo, even after Mary took away her chance at “reclaiming” the Halo by saving Ava from her. When she said to Mary, “you know my family, how I was raised. You know I didn’t have a choice”, it was more than just playing the sympathy card to win Mary over to her side, but a genuine attempt at reconnecting with Mary.
If there was someone Lilith wanted to be understood by, it had to be Mary.
Tumblr media
As the Tarask’s claw stabbed into her body and lifted her up in the air, with her last breath she turned and looked at Mary. In Lilith’s eyes there was no shock or fear, her lips trembled as if muttering something, perhaps a last goodbye, or perhaps an apology.
“You’re no leader. Shannon was because she had heart. You don’t.” What Mary said to her probably lingered on Lilith’s mind. No, I’m not saying she sacrificed herself to prove she had a heart and was, hence, qualified for bearing the Halo. She did it because it was what a sister warrior would do, what the Lilith Mary loved would do. Mary reminded her of who she was beneath all the expectations constraining her. Only Mary sees her like this, not the “next in line”, just Lilith, the Lilith who she taught shooting to. Only Mary understands her like this. “Sorry if I were heartless. Sorry we had to fight. Sorry about Shannon. Sorry I have to leave you too. Sorry, my sister.” This, is what I think was said in the look they shared.

Finding "the meaning" to a show that could have had up to five or seven seasons but was cancelled after the second is somewhat like trying to understand a novel composed of seventy chapters by having read only twenty — there is a whole wealth of information which we do not possess that could alter our reading of any given element or of the entire thing in itself.
Still, there are always patterns that weave a story into a cohesive unit and they can help us to better grope in darkness towards comprehension. One such pattern in Warrior Nun appears to be how the consequences to mistakes, "sins" or evil deeds committed by characters manifest.
Tumblr media
Basic storytelling usually requires characters to act on something so that complications or resolutions may arise from their choices and move the plot forwards. In Warrior Nun, many of these actions are quite tragic in nature: Suzanne's arrogance and pride lead to the death of her Mother Superion; Vincent's allegiance to the higher power he believed Adriel to be inspired him to kill Shannon; Ava's flight from the Cat's Cradle ends up damning Lilith as she is mortally wounded and taken away by a tarask... All of these events have negative outcomes and heavy repercussions on all characters directly or indirectly involved. Something changes permanently because of them, be it in the world around them or within the characters themselves.
And yet, it would seem that all of these dark deeds not only move the story forwards but might also have overall positive results. We would have had no protagonist without Ava — and she would arguably never have received the halo to begin with had she not been murdered. What's more, on a personal scale, the horrifying crime she suffers is, in the end, the very thing that allows her a second chance in life, a new life.
An act of outside evil permits Ava to grow and develop, shows her a path she would not otherwise have found. Without her own season in some sort of hell, Lilith would not have been able to advance towards other ways of being and understanding beyond her very strict limitations. Vincent and Suzanne would not have embarked on their own journeys of enlightenment without having caused the pain they are responsible for.
Tumblr media
Beatrice might have been paying for someone else's mistakes, but she, too, is given the chance to grow into herself through it. The afflictions that torment these characters advance the overall plot, but they also advance them, as individuals, as long as they are willing to learn and keep going despite the calamities large and small that they are faced with. Beatrice keeps going after parental rejection, Mary keeps going after losing Shannon, Jillian keeps going after losing her son (in part through her own actions, adding insult to injury)... Trouble and the adaptation that follows it, if one is open enough to learn from the experience, motivates the characters, propels them forward, teaches them.
The problem of evil has occupied the minds of many a thinker throughout the ages, given how the very existence of it, evil, might call into question that of God (a good, omniscient, omnipotent one, anyway). A common way of justifying suffering (and also God), then, is by claiming, as Saint Augustine, that "God judged it better to bring good out of evil than not to permit any evil to exist".
Now, it would be rather ridiculous to say of Warrior Nun that it follows in Leibniz's footsteps, also because this philosopher, expanding on the augustinian concept, attempted to defend the goodness of a real God with his "best of all possible worlds" while all we have is... Well, whatever/whoever Reya is.
Tumblr media
But there seems to be an inclination towards some sort of optimism as a worldview nonetheless.
Betrayals reveal truth and grant knowledge (Vincent's culminates with the coming of Adriel, which allows us to know of the threat of a "Holy War" and thus prepare for it; Kristian's gives Jillian much needed insight, William's lights up the fuse for the fight to be taken more seriously...), crimes committed willingly or not open the way for Ava (Suzanne's killing of her Mother Superion causes the loss of the halo, which is transferred to Shannon, whose death opens the gates for Ava to walk through after being herself murdered by sister Frances)... The magnitude of these positive outcomes is perhaps not "balanced" when compared to the evil that brings them about, but there is still something to take out of the catastrophe.
However tragic the tones of a given event, the show itself appears to shun the predetermination that makes tragedy as a genre; if everything is connected, here it at least appears to not necessarily drag everyone into their horrible dooms.
What's more is that this lurking "optimism" matches really well with our own protagonist's personality.
Tumblr media
And it makes perfect sense that Ava would do the best she could with whatever she is given.
Life for her, in the conditions she experienced after the accident, would have been unbearable without some sort of positive outlook on life. However deadpan, the joking and the "obscene gestures" and whatever other forms of goofing around beside Diego are a way of turning a portion of the situation in her own favour. Proverbial eggs have, after all, already been broken right and left — might as well make an omelette of whatever remains.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Humour is just another way of looking at the bright side of something, or, at the every least, of mitigating the utter horror it might bring. If the show allows for moments of lightness, if it lets us laugh, if it takes us through a perilous voyage which still bears ripe, succulent fruit instead of the rot of pessimism and its necessary contempt for humanity, it is because Ava herself sees things in this way. It isn't gratuitous or naïve in this case, but a true survival strategy, especially as it is confronted with the morbidity of Catholicism.
Here is a religion that soothes its faithful with the promise of reward in the afterlife — how else does one charge into battle against the unknown, risking one's own death along with that of one's sisters, without the balm of believing that we shall all meet again eventually, "in this life or the next"? How else does one come to terms with the ugliness and the pain of this existence if not by looking forward to a paradise perfect enough to make all trials and tribulations here worth it?
True nihilism would have annihilated Ava. Her present perspective is what avoided the abyss.
And there is nothing Panglossian to her attitude or what the show might imply by giving us her view on things. This isn't about "the best of all possible worlds", but of making the best of whatever situation we're in, of taking what we have and doing something with it, something good, something of ourselves. It isn't God making good out of evil, but our choices.
Tumblr media
Killing innocent people and feeling no remorse will never be the best someone can aspire to do. Sister Frances, cardinal William, Adriel all learn this the hard way.
Those who do their best find that, somehow, they can move on from whatever it was that paralysed them. Ava, most of all, knows what it is to be stuck, frozen in place; she can never be the character who refuses to grow, even through pain, lest she condemns her spirit to the same fate her body is all too familiarised with. Those around her wise enough to let themselves be touched by her, by the dynamic power she carries, walk forth with her and live.
It says very little about "God" that Warrior Nun should adopt its heroine's views and seem "optimistic" as it progresses — but it speaks volumes about the values it presents for pondering, of the inspiration its protagonists provide, and of the multiple reasons why this is a story unlike most others.
Tumblr media
#warrior nun#ava silva#you know it's actually very funny to type this as someone who is very schopenhaurian with hints of nietzsche#but i AM doing the best i can too :)#again i will reiterate that i don't think this apparent optimism has anything to do with the classic theodicy#if anything i see it more as a cry in favour of antitheism -- this is YOUR life fuck god#life is shitty so carve out your own makeshift paradise out of the wreck you are given#and don't make things harder for anyone else in the process if you can avoid it#(but that might just be the luciferian in me speaking lol)#anywho this post is a translation of one i wrote not too long ago in cryptic english and a ton of tags#so if it seems familiar that's why#also i do find it rather telling that whenever i try to delve into how the show structures things i talk about ava#i don't set out to analyse her -- but in analysing the show i must analyse her as well if by the edges#which again points to how finely woven she is to the fabric of the entire thing#remember how i said ava is a representation of free will?#well this whole bringing good out of evil thing also touches upon it#saint augustine maintains that it is precisely free will that allows us to do it -- to choose good#of course he means it in a sense of being free to pursue god rather than evil but you see the parallel still works#(this is the post i mentioned in the last reblog. figured i'd go ahead and throw it in the wild since there are more brewing)#analysis and similar#exercises in observation

These two things don't go together. If Lilith is an entity with independent existence such that you can describe her as having a primary goal of mudering Jewish children, then cultural appropriation doesn't apply to interacting with her, and if she's purely a cultural phenomenon without independent existence who can be appropriated, then feminist and neopagan veneration of an entity called Lilith cannot be treated as veneration of a specifically antisemitic child-killing malevolent entity a priori. The context of what that veneration involves and who they define Lilith to be is necessary to make that determination, and, indeed, if they were simply incorporating Lilith wholesale from the folkloric figure, they would not be engaging in cultural appropriation.
Now, the claim being made that Lilith only targets Jewish children is not one I'm familiar with- that's not how the incantation bowls where the demonic and predatory aspect of Lilith is first articulated depict her. That's not how she appears in the 17th-century amulet tradition or in the Krasmesser ritual. The Alphabet of Ben Sira, if we take that as an authentic source on folkloric belief, does not indicate this either, but gives Lilith universal dominion. Most other Jewish sources are mystical and demonological ones that are less inclined to treat the killing of infants as a literal phenomenon. Indeed, if you were inclined to take Lilith literally, it would be simplest to assume that she preys upon children in the early period after birth generally and it is only Jewish folklore that can defend against her, rather than that she only affects Jewish newborns.
So the Lilith that is being described here is not the folkloric Lilith, but is instead a transformation of the folklore figure to make a point. What is that point? Taking it at face value, the point would seem to be that any positive reinterpretation of negative figures from Jewish folklore is symbolic worship of violence against Jews, and allowing a degree of charity, perhaps Jewish people are allowed to engage in such reinterpretation, but not Gentiles.
If that is so- (and I suspect I'm putting much more thought into this than the original poster) I think that the implications of this idea are vast beyond the capacity of words to convey. If we reserve this solely for Judaism and broader Judaica like folklore, that's one thing, but if we take it as broader, as something which applies more generally to marginalized people, we run into some very big problems, in that any description of said folklore or any cultural phenomenon necessarily reinterprets it through the lenses the describer is using, and so we end up in a world where only a handful of cultures can ever be critically examined or investigated beyond simply repeating "traditional" understandings, if that.
In addition, it would be necessary to forbid any and all transmission of critical examinations of culture beyond national borders, because Japanese culture is somewhat marginalized in the US for Japanese-Americans but clearly isn't in Japan, meaning that Japanese people could critically examine their own culture but those examinations would be unacceptable in the United States.
This is an absurd outcome. It is clearly not what was intended. But here in the real world, the operations of scholarship will take figures like Lilith and allow Gentiles to use them in critical feminist interpretations of folklore that offer sympathy for the night demons as products of cultural anxieties. That is itself not very far from what neopagans do with her. Banning the latter without the former, (apart from directly oppressing neopagans by mandating the contents of their religions absent direct beliefs about human beings, which is morally unacceptable) is hardly trivial, and banning the former tears down the entire structure of scholarship, both modern and older forms as well.
In general, the way in which cultural appropriation as a negative term has drifted away from the imposition of the reappropriated cultural phenomenon onto the originating culture (eg the use of buckskin/brain-tanned leather with fringe by the counterculture of the 60s and 70s to define "Indian" away from being an American indigenous person to being a free spirit) and towards any reappropriation of a cultural phenomenon regardless of whether the reappropriated form is intentionally universal or potentially could supplant the originating form is bad. Its actual material effects are, increasingly, to enable entirely separate nationalistic claims and attempts to enclose areas of broader cultural tradition to be treated as respectable rather than contemptible- see, for example, the discourse point in YA and speculative fiction more generally that only modern Greeks and maybe their attendant diaspora can write about Hellenic mythology or reinterpret it. A hideous effort to cut off a massive proportion of European cultural heritage from any person of color ever touching it, and it has actual currency because it wraps itself up in the cloak of concerns about cultural appropriation.
On this level, then, it is worth carefully considering whether neopagans using the name "Lilith" for their reinterpretation of mostly-Christian occultist appropriation of midrashic and mystic interpretations of a folkloric demon who may have hitched a ride from Babylon two thousand years ago or so really blots out the folkloric figure, or could ever block out the Lilith of folklore on their own. And the same for feminist uses of that name for their own figure, more often drawn directly from the midrashic Lilith specifically, and which cannot be understood without knowledge of the original referents.

Penetrating the AT-Field
Drew opened his phone and stared open-mouthed at the picture that he had received from an unknown number.
Tumblr media
He recognized the design immediately. “You didn’t!”
Another message.
Told you I could ;)
Grinning, Drew ran over to his car and made his way over to the ranch.
Drew and Marcus lived together in a Southern town. The two lacked the funds to move away from their hometown and truly could not bear to split from a community that, for the most part, treasured all of its residents. Though their parents were awkward in trying to understand what their sons were going through, there was still a strong fondness and love. “I respect your choice,” was the usual sentiment. It wasn’t exactly correct, but Marcus and Drew still appreciated the spirit. They’d get there.
The minority was the true annoyance. And the head of that group was Samuel Smith, a local ranch head with a notoriously hateful streak. He’d often graffiti the Drew and Marcus’ shared home, run over their mailboxes with his large truck, and even intimidate them in public with several of his ranch hands. Due to an indifferent sheriff, most of the harassment went unpunished. A few of the older women in the town managed to get some of the ranch hands to back off, but Sam was adamant in his position.
“Queers ain’t got a home here,” he once told them with a sneer.
Then, on a fateful summer day, Marcus came to Drew with a ritual.
“A body possession spell,” he said, grinning madly at the book he had checked out from the library. His sister volunteered there for the summer and often gossiped about the material that came in. “Was in the occult section,” Drew said. “Usually they got crap about how to defend yourself from evil spirits and the like. But this is the first time they ever got some kinda book about using that stuff!” When asked about how the library got its hands on it, Marcus just shrugged and said, “Some kinda sorry-lookin’ folks came in and donated it.”
“You don’t really believe in that stuff, do you?” said Drew.
“Oh c’mon!” said Marcus, chuckling as he shut the book and strolled over to his room. From where he could stand, Drew could see the various figurines and gunpla on Marcus’ shelf for display. “Live a little, m’li’l D. It’s just for fun.”
“Just like all your other expensive hobbies?” Drew’s eyes wandered to the Evangelion Unit 02 figure in their living room. Marcus has only spent his money on it but Drew still felt exasperated by the wasteful spending. It didn’t have anything to do with his preference for Unit 00, of course. “Just remember to take out the trash tomorrow morning.”
“I will!”
He didn’t.
Drew found himself grumbling as he took out the garbage until he got that fateful first text message.
Marcus had taken over his father.
Tumblr media
The rest of the summer went by with Marcus hopping from person to person every week. One of the rules in that book was to take great care to not allow one to remain in one body for far too long and to not allow one’s spirit to ‘ink’ the body. For whatever reason, Marcus was a natural, and a ‘rainbow surge’ (as Marcus dubbed it), fell upon the townsmen.
Drew’s phone blew up every few days with nudes and slutty pictures of various men Marcus and he had a thirst for. On some nights, the couple even took some of the folks on a secret rendezvous. Drew’s ass was never the same again.
Eventually, the two settled on Sam after he had left another hateful message on Drew’s car. “Teach the bastard a lesson,” Drew told Marcus as he wiped as much of the paint off as he could. Marcus was happy to oblige.
And once Drew received the message of Evangelion’s Lilith tattooed across Sam’s back, he knew he was gonna have fun riding a cowboy that night.

Sachiel is the third angel in the anime series, and appears in the first episode. it is a large humanoid angel with long black arms, a skull like mask, and a red core covered by its ribcage. the jssdf tries to defend the city from the angel, but all physical attacks have no effect and only make it angrier and grow stronger. the military then gives control to NERV, and Shinji is pressured by his father to pilot Unit 01. at first, Shinji falls on his face, gets his arm broken, and gets blasted in the eye. but after realizing that he's in danger, Unit 01 enters berserk mode to protect Shinji, rips apart Sachiel's AT field, and starts breaking it's core with it's own rib cage. realizing it's about to die, Sachiel makes one last attempt to damage the eva by commiting suicide and causing a giant cross shaped explosion. however, Unit 01 is largely undamaged, and Shinji walks away with minimal physical injuries (but a shit ton of trauma)

Lilith is the second angel, and appears as a large white humanoid about the same size as an evangelion that is kept crucified on a large red cross in Terminal Dogma. instead of regular legs, she has many pairs of human sized legs protruding from her bottom half. her body was pierced with the spear of Longinus until it was removed by Unit 00 and her full legs grew back. she wears a purple mask with seven eyes in the symbol of SEELE. Lilith is the origin of all life on earth, and produces LCL from its body. she merged with Adam and Rei, which initiated the third impact during End of Evangelion

I was thinking about lesson 16 and what if
In the original timeline you were never lilith’s descendent, and Lilith ended up guiding you to a timeline where you were, so you would have more magic power? In lesson 16, it’s implied Lilith didn’t revive you but put your soul in that timeline MC, because 1. Mammon had the choked out MC in his arms, meaning that even though you were killed, you weren’t revived in the same body and 2. That timeline had a MC, so there were only 2, you and original MC. The original you was dead, but there had to be that MC somewhere. They couldn’t just magically be the one that’s choked out.
In the og timeline MC was in, it was never mentioned, and no one said you acted like Lilith. You would think Diavolo would have the descendants of Lilith to be known to him, so that why the brothers couldn’t get in contact with the family, and probably wouldn’t put them in the roaster of candidates for the exchange program. You could explain the flashbacks with the grimoire being that liliths soul was giving them to you to help the brothers.
It would also explain why MC ended up in 3 different time loops, despite the fact they weren’t using Barbatos powers to end up in different timelines, as you need to knock on the door to use it.
Not only that, MC had very limited powers in the original timeline. The one time you could use it for summoning was using Solomon’s powers. The only time you used magic was to stop mammon from doing stupid stuff, but that was only linked to the pact, MC didn’t ever use magic outside the pacts. It would explain how you couldn’t use magic powers before hand but could in future seasons.
So why would she have you be her descendant? It could be a couple of reasons, combined or separate . 1. So you could have more magic power and use it. I think having magic powers would be necessary to defend yourself in the future. 2. To help you be closer to the brothers. If you are able to summon them and teleport across realms, you could see them more often, and just having you be the descendant just closens the bond. 3. She knew that belphie was going to kill that timeline MC, and knew that if he did he would go to prison and deeply regret it, so she had the original MC go up to the attic so that way, the MC of that timeline was still alive and able to help belphie with his problems, and MC’s original soul could tell the about the deal with Luci and Diavolo as they know that information, but that timeline MC couldn’t. That also being said, She could’ve known about Barbatos merging timelines abilities and wanted to have the best possible future to unite the three worlds, and also have belphie not in prison why also gaining powers. It’s a pretty big stretch though, and the least likely. Or 4. When Lilith died, she was in the middle of transitioning into a demon, so she was an angel and human, making MC human, angel and demon, and making it easier to unite the three realms. If MC was her descendant it would them all 3 races at a certain extent.
If the three realms were united, the whole celestial war wouldn’t even happen in the first place, since angels, demons, and humans could love whoever they wanted to. Her brothers went through so much pain because she wanted her lover to live a longer lifespan. If the three realms were combined, more sorcerers would try to make magic items to expand lifespans, considering Solomon was able to do it.
this was just a random funny thought I had. Im not implying this is absolutely cannon or anything, just an interesting idea.

THE THRONE WORLD OF ISIS: NUMMO GENIUS: THE GREAT LADY OF PURE WATER
KEMET AND THE LORD OF THE PERFECT BLACK
HERE'S SOME INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE THAT WILL ALLOW THEM TO CONNECT THE DOTS IN SO FAR AS A LOT OF THE THINGS I SAY ABOUT THE DIVINE FEMININE BLACK SUN AND THE NUMMO SERPENTINE WATER SPIRITS, AND EVEN THE BLACK HOLE AT THE CENTER OF THE MILKY WAY GALAXY, AND HOW THAT RELATES TO DIGITARIA SIRIUS-B AND DRACO.
THE DIVINE FEMININE OCTAVE OF CREATION, TIME TIME SPACE, IPEP-IPY, APEP, SET, DRACO, ISIS MOTHER OF OSIRIS.
WHAT DO HIPPOS AND CROCODILES HAVE IN COMMON? THEY BOTH CAN BE SEEN ON THE SURFACE, YET AT THE SAME TIME CAN DESCEND INTO THE WATER, AS SET HAS BEEN CITED AS DOING MANY TIMES. THE DARK MATTER OCEAN, THE OCEAN OF DREAMS AND OF THE HEART, THE QUANTUM UNIFIED FIELD OF PURE POTENTIALITY THAT IS AN OCEAN.
THE MAYAN SHAMANS SAY THAT REALITY COMES IN DIMENSIONAL LAYERS LIKE AN ONION. IT'S THE SAME CONCEPT OF THE SEVEN SUNS, ACCEPT THE HOME PLANET AND SUN OF THE NUMMO GENIUS IS THE EIGHTH SUN, ALL SEVEN OF THE OTHER SUNS AS ONE, THE TRUE ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE TRUE BEGINNING AND THE END, THE DIVINE FEMININE BLACK SUN, THE COSMIC EGG OF THE GODDESS (AMMA) IN THE DIVINE WOMB OF CREATION, NOTICE THE VASE-PITCHER OF WATER HELD BY TAWERET, DOES THAT REMIND YOU OF THE IMAGE ASSOCIATED WITH THE SIGN OF AQUARIUS?
REMEMBER IN THE STORY OF OGO IN DOGON LEGEND HOW BECAUSE OF OGO'S EVIL DEEDS HE ENDED UP WITHOUT THE SPIRITUAL ELEMENT OF WATER?
THEN DO YOU REMEMBER HOW PHARAOH AKHENATEN WAS LIKENED TO HORUS-MARDUK, THE HORUS THAT CUT THE HEAD OFF OF ISIS, THE SAME EVENT AS CUTTING THE HEAD OFF OF APEP?
THEN DO YOU REMEMBER HOW AKHENATEN TURNED AGAINST THE ANCIENT ONES AND THE OLD DIVINE FEMININE DEITIES OF KEMET, WENT COMPLETELY INSANE AND DECLARED HIMSELF IN HIS BODY ALONE TO BE GOD, JUST LIKE HOW HORUS-MARDUK BECAME THE REAL EGYPTIAN ANTI, ANTI-KIRIST, BECAUSE HE CUT THE HEAD OFF OF HIS MOTHER ISIS?
AND DID YOU KNOW THAT THE DEITIES THAT AKHENATEN SOUGHT TO SUPPRESS AND WRITE OUT OF HISTORY WERE ALL DIVINE FEMININE DEITIES, AKA THE NUMMO, WHO WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING WOMEN, BABIES, AND YOUNG CHILDREN? ANOTHER ASSOCIATION BEING OANES PUTTING A STOP TO CANNIBALISM.
THEN DO YOU SEE HOW IN AKHENATEN'S SLANDER CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE DIVINE FEMININE, AFTER HE CUT THE HEAD OFF OF ISIS AND BEGAN TO SUPPRESS AND ATTACK WOMEN AND CHILDREN, HOW HE TRIED TO REWRITE HISTORY BY SAYING THAT LILITH AND LAMASHTU INSTEAD OF BEING THE PROTECTORS OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN THAT THEY WERE, WERE MADE OUT TO BE DEITIES THAT WOULD ATTACK THOSE WHOM IN ACTUALITY THEY PROTECT?
THE DRACONIAN DRAGONS, THE NUMMO, THE REPTILIANS, THE SERPENT HEADED PEOPLE, THE MINOAN GENIUS (JINN), THE ANCIENT ONES, ALL OF THESE BEINGS ARE OF THE DIVINE FEMININE OCTAVE OF CREATION AND EXIST IN THE DIMENSION OF THE LORD OF THE PERFECT BLACK WHICH IS THE THRONE WORLD OF ISHTAR ISIS, THE DIVINE FEMININE BLACK SUN COSMIC EGG IN THE DIVINE WOMB OF CREATION.
IPY, TAWERET, AND THE MINOAN GENIUS WITH THE WRITINGS AND STORIES THAT GO ALONG WITH THEM, ALL ARE HISTORICAL DOCUMENTATION AND PROOF OF A LOT OF THE THINGS THAT I TALK ABOUT. I HAVE BEEN CALLED AS A CHAMPION TO DEFEND THE DIVINE FEMININE WORLD. THE PATRIARCHY IS EVIL. THEY ARE THE OUT OF BALANCE JACKALS, ALL MALE WITH NO SPIRITUAL ELEMENT OF WATER, AND NO CONNECTION TO NATURE, AND THEIR WORLD IS THE WHITE SUN, THE CHRESTOS OUTER SUN, THE ONE AKHENATEN LIKED SO MUCH AND CALLED ATEN.
THERE WAS NO SLAVERY IN EGYPT UP UNTIL THE REIGN OF PHARAOH AKHENATEN. DO YOU STILL HAVE ANY DOUBTS ABOUT HOW EVIL HE WAS? HE WASN'T TRYING TO HELP THE HUMAN RACE BY UNITING THEM UNDER ONE GOD, HE WAS TRYING TO SUPPRESS THE ENTIRE DIVINE FEMININE WORLD, SO THAT HE COULD ENSLAVE EVERYBODY BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO FOLLOW THE WAYS OF HIS MOTHER ISIS, THE GREAT MOTHER ISIS, IPY, THE NUMMO JINN. THE WAY OF ATEN IS THE WAY OF PERVERSITY IN THAT INSTEAD OF WORKING IN HARMONY WITH NATURE IT WOULD SEEK TO CONQUER AND/OR DESTROY IT.
AKHENATEN AND HIS EVIL WHITE SUN DEITY ATEN ARE ABSOLUTELY PURE EVIL. AKHENATEN AND HIS VIZIER RAMOSE ARE THE ONES RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THE MODERN ABRAHAMIC RELIGIONS BY REBELLING AGAINST THE GREAT MOTHER AND THE DIVINE FEMININE WORLD, AND ALL WHO SIDE WITH THE PATRIARCHY WILL BE LEFT WITHOUT THE SPIRITUAL ELEMENT OF WATER, TO BURN IN OGOS INFERNO, WHICH IS ALREADY INSTITUTED.
PART OF MY WORK AS THE VOICE OF THE DIVINE FEMININE WORLD OF THE BLACK SUN IS TO LET EVERYBODY KNOW THAT TIME IS SHORT FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO MAKE THE JUMP TO THE DIVINE FEMININE DIMENSIONS OF EXISTENCE. WITH ME BRINGING THE FULL SPECTRUM OF MASCULINE DIVINITY INTO THE DIVINE FEMININE REALM, THE THRONE WORLD OF ISIS HAS THE COMPLETE SPECTRUM OF FREQUENCIES, AND HAS NO MORE NEED TO PUT UP WITH BEING ABUSED AND SUPPRESSED BY THE PATRIARCHY, THUS THE DIMENSIONS AND TIMELINES WILL COMPLETELY SPLIT, THE PATRIARCHY AND ALL THOSE WHO FOLLOW THEM WILL BE COMPLETELY LOCKED OUT OF THE SPIRIT WORLD SO THEY DO NOT HAVE THE ELEMENT OF WATER, THUS THEY WILL SUFFER AND BURN UNTIL THEY ARE NO MORE IN THE LIGHT INFERNO OF THEIR EVIL OUT OF BALANCE WHITE SUN ATEN, THAT IS REALLY JUST A SYMBOL OF AN EVIL PHARAOH WHO CUT THE HEAD OFF OF HIS MOTHER SO THAT HE COULD TRY AND ENSLAVE EVERYBODY BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO FOLLOW THE WAYS OF THE NATURAL WORLD, THE WAYS OF THE DIVINE FEMININE NUMMO GENIUS JINN.
I PROVIDED PLENTY OF LINKS FOR ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO GET THE RESEARCH STARTED, BUT EVERYTHING I WRITE ABOUT HAS A BASIS IN HISTORICAL REALITY, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER I PUT IT IN STORY FORM OR NOT, AND EVEN THOUGH IT DOES SOUND QUITE FANTASTIC TOO MANY, I ASSURE YOU THAT THE REALITY AND TRUTH UNDERLYING ALL OF IT IS QUITE REAL.
HOW DO I KNOW ALL THIS YOU ASK? I'VE SAID IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, I AM A HUMAN MAN THAT IS MARRIED TO A GODDESS JINN, AND SHE TELLS ME MANY THINGS.

Lilith is calling...
""The world needs Men.
Men in their Power.
Men in their Heart.
Men who are Grounded.
Men who deliver Truth.
Men who Protect.
Men who serve a Noble Mission.
(And there is only ONE noble mission, though it takes many forms, and that is Love).
Men who have done Work. And who continue to do Work.
Men who live On Purpose.
Men who Lean In.
Men who Face Forward.
Men who aren't afraid to Cry, but do not leak.
Men who aren't afraid to Fight, but only for, never against.
Men who aren't afraid to Feel.
Men who's Presence can be Felt.
Men who can Create, Soothe, Provide, Arouse, Build and Destroy, all with the same hands, and who know how to discern when which is needed.
We are at War.
With injustice.
With decay.
With inequity.
With confusion.
With sloth.
With apathy.
With ignorance.
With fear.
With fascism.
With oppression.
With deceit.
With disconnection.
With distraction.
With division.
With greed.
With toxification of mind, body, soul, and planet.
The world needs MEN.
To lead.
To stand up.
To defend.
To heal.
To unite.
To reconnect.
To uplift the Feminine.
To transform.
To shepherd in the New Earth.
The World. Needs. Men."

ALLIANCE PROPOUSAL
Resistance and Feminism
United in the Fight for Equality
To our comrades in the struggle for gender equality,
It is with deep respect and admiration that the Resistance reaches out to you, tireless advocates for women's rights. We recognize the vital importance of the feminist cause in the quest for a fairer and more equitable society, and we are committed to fully supporting it.
We firmly believe that gender oppression is one of the many faces of the system we seek to dismantle. As such, it is imperative that we join forces in the fight against all forms of injustice and discrimination. We are aware of the challenges faced by women in their pursuit of equal rights, safety, and autonomy, and it is our duty as agents of change to ensure that their voices are heard and their demands met.
We propose a strong and lasting alliance between the Resistance and the feminist movement, based on the following principles:
1. Commitment to gender equality in all spheres of society, including equal access to educational, economic, and political opportunities.
2. Advocacy for women's reproductive rights and the right to make autonomous choices about their bodies and their lives.
3. Combatting gender-based violence in all its forms, including sexual harassment, domestic violence, and femicide.
4. Promotion of women's representation and participation in leadership positions and decision-making.
5. Support for the demands of marginalized women, including Black, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and other minority women.
By uniting our voices and our efforts, we believe we can achieve significant progress in the fight for gender equality and social justice. Together, Resistance and feminism can inspire transformative change and build a more inclusive and equitable future for all people.
We look forward to embarking on this journey in partnership with you and eagerly anticipate the day when we can celebrate our joint achievements.
In solidarity,
Rafael de Ágape e Ludicanti

Oracle of the Day:
In the quiet whispers of dawn's embrace,
The oracle speaks with wisdom and grace.
Listen closely to the secrets it imparts,
For within its words lie clues to hearts.
On this day, the winds of change blow strong,
A call to action echoes loud and long.
In unity, strength; in solidarity, might,
The path to justice is bathed in light.
Beneath the veil of uncertainty's shroud,
Lies the promise of hope, fierce and proud.
Embrace the challenges that come your way,
For in adversity, true courage holds sway.
Seek not answers in the stars above,
But in the depths of your own inner love.
Trust in your instincts, let intuition guide,
And you shall find the truth that resides inside.
Let kindness be your compass, empathy your guide,
And in the face of darkness, let compassion abide.
For in the tapestry of life, woven with care,
Every thread of love creates a world fair.
So heed the words of the oracle's call,
And let wisdom and compassion be your all.
Embrace the day with open heart and mind,
And the universe's secrets you shall find.

BLACK MOON LILITH (Zodiac)
(FYI: Lilith in Scorpio highlighted in red for easier find, since this blog is mostly dedicated to my Lilith in Scorpio sign and others as well.)
Lilith represents the creative energy that unites sex with spirituality. It is the instinct of enjoyment and the dark force that exists in every creative process.
In the birth chart, Lilith represents the point where we can become transgressors, that is, where we can “cross the line.”
If you make it work for you, the sign and house where Lilith is indicates how you can achieve lucidity, personal affirmation, and the ability to enjoy. However, if Lilith is poorly aspected or you have not integrated it into your personality, it can represent issues in which you can be submissive or suffer repression.
But the Black Moon cannot be approached solely with reason or logic, since it’s related to instincts and its nature is powerfully intuitive.
Black Moon Lilith in Aries
Lilith in Aries gives an absolutist character that pushes you to jump into action, even beyond your own desires. This gives passionate tendencies and great sensuality. You have an indomitable personality and will be able to fight for causes that you consider fair. You value individualism. You firmly defend your points of view.
Lilith in Aries is the moon that lights the sky on the darkest nights of the soul. You are bewitched by the most basic instincts. Your sensuality is overflowing. You are very direct in love, throwing yourself on the object of your affection, even with violence. This can cause your partner to reject you.
In negative people, the dark side of their sexuality can become cruel and brutal. If this is the case, they will suffer much displeasure in marriage due to their being repeatedly unfaithful. People with Black Moon Lilith in Aries know about sexuality from a very young age. Some may even be a “Peeping Tom.”
For your Black Moon in Aries to work well: Be true to yourself. Examine what circumstances make you jump, or provoke you, and why.
Black Moon Lilith in Taurus
The trial for Lilith in Taurus has to do with sensuality and money. Lilith in Taurus can give a great eagerness to have, or accumulate, whatever you see. On the other hand, it can also make you decide to give up all possessions. In some cases it indicates a very stubborn person. If it influences in an extreme way, (as when in conjunction to sun or moon), it can give greed or poverty.
When Black Moon Lilith casts its dark shadow on the horns of sensual Taurus, it makes for a lustful bull. Sex is very necessary in your life, but forget about wine and roses. If your natal chart doesn’t have anything to contradict this, Lilith in Taurus adds to your sexual style an excessive side, while not adding the kind side of Taurus. Your excessive sexual side may only be known by those with whom you are most intimate. The lowest instincts can appear in both men and women and lead them to the pursuit of pleasure for pleasure itself.
There may also be a total denial of sex and thus an incurable impotence or sexual frigidity, which leads to loneliness. You may think sex is the only object of love. Your partner can perceive this as a lack of love and it can destabilize your relationship. Sex can be denied to you. Then, you will seek peace by sexual misconduct, revenge, and extreme release, with the intention of escaping from sexual denial.
For your Black Moon in Taurus to work well: Think about this: to what extent does your monetary situation liberate you, or enslave you? Ponder what kind of belongings you want to have. What things in this world do you consider to be yours? Treat money and possessions according to your scale of values. Remember that people are not possessions, and sex does not equal love.
Black Moon Lilith in Gemini
If you have Lilith in Gemini, some of your most important personal trials will be in your way of communicating and relating with others. Your methods of communication may be the definitive test for the full manifestation of your qualities. You must take full advantage of your intelligence and sensitivity, because otherwise you can fall into being a provocateur.
As Mercury is the planet of eloquence, whoever has Lilith in Gemini will seek to captivate their “prey” by means of words. Instead of innocently picking up a date, they tend to seduce a partner to satisfy their personal pride.
Men, especially, are prone to acting like a “Don Juan.” They can partner up just to prance around with their “trophy.” Once they achieve their prize, they go in search of more and more, without giving much consideration to the havoc that they may cause. Sex can become their only objective, using their mental sharpness to reach the desired end. Then, they will be a prime example of a lack of ethics: they will promise what they know they will not fulfill.
In women this feature has been traditionally toned down because of social norms of how women are expected to behave. Women have used this energy in a more calculating manner. They look for alliances with material ends. It is not easy to conquer a woman with Black Moon Lilith in Gemini. And if she were to have a lover, nobody would ever know.
Both men and women with this placement can be superficial in love. They care more about appearances than anything else. But, if someone with Lilith in Gemini really falls in love, they can lose their mind.
For your Black Moon in Gemini to work well: Try to be yourself in the way you communicate. Decide if you want to use your communication ability to support your personal relationships, or to show off your intelligence like an immature youth.
Black Moon Lilith in Cancer
If you have Lilith in Cancer, family will be the test to overcome. Sooner or later you will need to make your own definition of “home and family.” One of your biggest challenges will be to examine your past family ties. You are highly interested in linking yourself to a team, group, or community. In some cases, Lilith in Cancer involves delays in having children.
In addition to revealing sexual impulses, the Black Moon can also reveal inhibitions. This is the case with Black Moon Lilith in Cancer. You sexuality is mostly manifested in daydreams.
In a love relationship, you may be exaggeratedly jealous. You may prioritize having a sense of ownership over your partner, rather than the spirituality of the union. Whatever your sun sign, whoever has Lilith in Cancer may suffer when it comes to sexual relationships. For example, you may end up having to marry someone just for having given them pleasure. Recall that in antiquity, if a woman gave her body, marriage was mandatory.
In private, the Cancer shyness disappears and the opposite effect can take place: you lose any moderation and inhibitions and you become daring.
In some cases, you prefer to “watch” because you do not dare to personally try something. You may like to watch a striptease. You feel it guards your integrity if you look but don’t touch. Passion surrounds you to the point that it suffocates you, sometimes leading you to solitude in the middle of the best marriage. Sometimes, sexuality does not correspond to reality.
For your Black Moon in Cancer to work well: Ask yourself what you can do to free yourself from the burdens of the past or childhood. Think about what kind of family relationships would motivate you to the fullest.
Black Moon Lilith in Leo
With Lilith in Leo, you must learn where your creative abilities and your core essence reside. If you do not discover your true self, you may feel driven to seek attention or social recognition, or to act out exaggerated shows in order to make yourself noticed. The personality you express must be authentically yours, and not forced.
If you have Black Moon Lilith in Leo, your love is centered on yourself. Psychologists call it narcissism. Both men and women seek to be honored for their beauty and physical appearance. You can cause disappointments by taking advantage of your partner and by not recognizing your sexual-emotional mistakes.
There is a tendency to lie. If you become unfaithful, you will, out of pride, play the misunderstood victim when you know inwardly that you betrayed your partner.
The repressed sexual impulses focus on “I want.” You may have unspoken internal conflicts. These can overflow and cause you to exercise power and dominion over your partner or children “just because” or, as Aesop said, “because I am the Lion.”
For your Black Moon in Leo to work well: Look for your own identity, without falling into the world of appearances. Focus your fire on what your passions really are. Do not look so much for recognition from others.
Black Moon Lilith in Virgo
Lilith in Virgo affects your daily activities. You will be one sided and likely fall to the extreme: either obsessive compulsive and perfectionist, or very messy. Lilith in Virgo can also give you a lucid expression of sexuality or, on the contrary, a repression of the instincts. You should develop your own ideas regarding health and the sense of discretion.
Lilith reveals certain hidden aspects, even things that you didn’t know about yourself. If your Black Moon Lilith is in Virgo, you will notice that your way of loving is somewhat self-seeking. That is to say that you give of yourself, with the condition that you can get some benefit from the relationship. It is not necessarily about money, although it does not exclude it.
You may boast about a knowledge that you don’t have. You may put material security above your desires. You choose a partner who does not bring problems, or more, one that resolves yours. Everything would indicate that you go in search of security.
You expect too much. You seek an ideal love rather than realistic love.
In terms of sexuality, you are able to achieve what set out for, and even hide your infidelities. You are quite dangerous since you can lose your head very easily, sexually-speaking.
In the worst extreme case, your inhibitions will prevent you from developing your sexual life normally. Rather than endure sexual dissatisfaction, you would prefer to stay alone. These inhibitions will affect your health. In the best case you could transform yourself into a meditative ascetic, but always regretting not finding your other half.
You feel like a victim for finding yourself in inferior conditions. In those cases, you should know that it’s up to you to decide what your body does, and that you have the right to choose.
Your frustrations will be visible and difficult to solve. Not because they are too big of a problem, but because they are many simple little limitations that you impose on yourself.
For your Black Moon in Virgo to work well: Reflect on why you’re not integrating more into your professional field. Is it that you’re afraid of failure? Do you want to be a perfectionist at work?
Black Moon Lilith in Libra
Your main test will be in the area of personal relationships, ethics, and how you use your degree of magnetism or attraction. If your Black Moon works well, everything will go wonderfully in these matters. However, you can also be too uncompromising or perfectionist, especially with your partner and social relationships. On the other hand, you might believe that society or your partner demand too much from you.
If you have Black Moon Lilith in Libra, sex is your leading interest. Not just sex, but physical beauty or giving great importance to the external aspect. Joy is expressed with sexual energy. It takes only some perfume/cologne and a little alcohol to stimulate you and put you in the mood for physical relations.
But if Lilith has bad aspects, by birth or transit, you become aggressive and you dramatize the sexual relationship. In this position, Lilith is not so dangerous, although she is ruthless. You hide your vulnerability with cynicism.
For your Black Moon in Libra to work well: Think about what you really expect from others and to what extent you want to get involved in your relationships. Learn to enjoy your one-to-one relationships with serenity and peace. Look for inner beauty and harmony, not only external.
✨Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio✨
You must overcome tests concerning passion, sexuality and the ability to penetrate hidden mysteries. You can exert a great transforming power over others, in a positive or negative sense, according to the rest of your birth chart. You need intense experiences.
The Scorpio fascination for sex dates back to your youth, when your intense curiosity was mainly aimed at unveiling all the mysteries and taboos that were imposed by your family.
In private, you can take it to the extreme, either to one side or the other of sexual limits. For example, towards the inhibition of all eroticism, or towards the most unbridled sexuality. There is a danger of exhibitionism and voyeurism in both men and women. Those who have very inharmonious birth charts are the most sadistic beings.
For your Black Moon in Scorpio to work well: It would be beneficial for you to know what attracts you to mysterious things or people. Avoid acting in an extremist way. Consider that, in addition to all the darkness in the world, there is also beauty and harmony.
Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius
Your test may be abroad in a foreign land. You should learn how to combine your wildest or most adventurous side with your more accommodating and conservative side. If your Black Moon works well, you will be attracted to the development of your intellect and spirituality. Otherwise, you could fall into superstition or become a “player” with a love of the game.
Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius mixes money with love. Anyone who has Lilith in Sagittarius can invest money to get emotional benefits. “Paying for love” in this way can lead to ruin. People with Lilith in Sagittarius are usually involved in legal proceedings, or being slandered for sexual reasons, or enduring revenge for infidelities.
Perhaps you may practice adultery because you are not exactly contained sexually. Your love for novelty can induce you to infidelity in the most blatant way, but with the false sense that you are innocent. You can live with your two lovers under one roof, maintain two homes at the same time, or even set up group relationships. You can also find yourself in ambiguous situations, such as falling in love with your best friend’s spouse. For you, “all is fair in love and war.”
For your Black Moon in Sagittarius to work well: Think about what adventures you need to live out in order for you to experience fullness or break out of your current boundaries. Avoid falling into major social nonconformity.
Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn
Your test is related to your sense of responsibility and foresight. You may experience delays in finding or developing your career. If your Black Moon works well, you will have a sense of discipline and duty, so you will achieve prestige. However, you can also be too cold or demanding of others.
Black Moon Lilith symbolizes inhibition of some form without necessarily having to do with sex. In Capricorn, it leads to solitude and introversion and deepens the inner life even more.
As for sexuality, we find it diminished to the point of sublimating it or literally rejecting it. On rare occasions, the approach to the body is through auto-eroticism.
There can be forms of love with people of a very old age in which simple friendship prevails.
For your Black Moon in Capricorn to work well: Reflect on your feelings and your ability to love and understand others. Don’t close yourself off. Learn to meet others halfway. Think about what your role in society is.
Black Moon Lilith in Aquarius
Your test has to do with personal freedom and the feeling of individuality or differentiation from others. If your Black Moon works well, you will be an independent, but friendly, person. Otherwise, you could demand freedom at all costs or be a rebel without a cause. Or you might be afraid to experience freedom, even if you crave it.
Sexuality manifests itself in permanent change and in very varied ways. People with Lilith in Aquarius look for new erotic sensations in which fantasy plays an important role.
There are periods in which the libido is remarkable, and others where abstinence wins. Then, you remain in a state of incomprehensible chastity. You can appear tame, but when you come into contact with your victim, you are lasciviously devouring. All your instincts are always on edge.
Perhaps, you never had any idea of what a sexual relationship is. And suddenly you marry and go from sexual ignorance to intense knowledge, in which case you become prey to numerous temptations. It is easy to go from there to licentiousness. In extreme cases, we find true sex addicts because they refuse to put a limit on their freedom.
You fear nothing. Adventure is your reason for being and you expect nothing from your partner.
You find it hard to separate the good from the bad. You will always have doubts in the emotional and sexual sphere, which will lead you to disappointments. Sexual desire becomes a goal. You confuse friendship with sex.
You get to experience disturbing sensations. These are not always satisfactory to you because you usually make bad choices in a partner.
Your sexual instinct is anarchic and destroys all taboos. You tend to experiment in all areas in a varied and bold way.
For your Black Moon in Aquarius to work well: It is beneficial for you to reflect on what freedom is to you, and at the same time, reflect on the idea of respect for others. Reinforce your own personality and be yourself.
Black Moon Lilith in Pisces
Your tests will be related to mysticism or the need to transcend material limits. Your spirituality or creative imagination can give good economic returns. You have a need to dive into the depths of knowledge. However, there is also a risk of falling into chaotic situations or self-pity. You may have personal secrets or be a trusted holder of other peoples’ secrets.
Pisces usually relies on his intuition and his imagination. But this unlimited imagination leads to the disintegration of the self, to self-destruction. This situation makes the libido appear from the earliest youth and extends beyond its sensitive nature to make you cling too much to your partner.
You can become lovesick when you do not accept a breakup. You can even reach the point of blackmailing or threatening your partner.
For your Black Moon in Pisces to work well: Reflect on how to develop your spirituality. Learn to combine all your intuitive knowledge and your ability to tie up loose ends.

Five Times 3
Not as happy with this one, but I wrote it so here it is.
0o0o0
Five Times Asuka and Shinji Found Each Other
1.
The first time, Asuka was unimpressed by the quiet, shy boy before her. This is the one protecting the city? She thought, huffing, and decided to show him a Real Eva.
But as time went on, as they fought side-by-side against the Angels, she found herself impressed. And by the end, she didn't want anyone else; no one else had selflessly put themselves forward to fight both for her and beside her.
Shinji was befuddled and shocked; this girl with brilliant hair and arrogance around her like armor was supposed to help him and Rei defend the city? It got better once they did synch-training, small glimpses behind her façade revealed a scared—scarred--lonely teen much like him.
By the end of it all, desperate to not be alone, he searched her out in Instrumentality and offered her his hand.
And she took it.
2.
The second time, neither of them knew what was going on. It was like déjà vu, this feeling of knowing between them, like they'd met once before and forgotten. There was wonder to it—I found you—but also sorrow—How could I forget you?
They held tight to that as events seemed like repeating a play, only their choices giving any variety. Instinct—or memory, they would whisper to each other in the dead of night—guiding them passed moments they knew in their bones could've been tragedy.
And when they once again got to the end, the memories the clearest they'd been, they fought tooth and nail to try and stop Instrumentality. This time Shinji was there with her fighting the Mass Production Evas, this time he saved her from being eaten.
But they still found themselves caught in someone else's plan. And when they woke on the beach, they blinked and weren't.
3.
The third time, Shinji seemed to know her from the moment they met. It was only later, as they tried to synch-train, that Asuka started to feel the same. That they'd found each other.
Déjà vu quickly became memories opening up, the two of them whispering in quiet moments about what they could recall. Never far into the future, but enough to help against each new threat as it came.
But still the two dodged around one memory, a faint feeling more than solid thought; who/what are you to me?
At the end, Asuka convinced him to let her fight on her own. They knew something happened in Terminal Dogma, something to do with his father, so Shinji had to try and reach there to put a stop to it.
And still he couldn't keep Rei from merging with Lilith, even as he heard Asuka screaming over the comm as the lance took her eye.
4.
The fourth time, Asuka and Shinji knew it wasn't the first time. First time meeting, first time living together, first time fighting side-by-side.
Memories seemed to overlap, blurring what was with what had been. It cost them dearly; Bardiel and the Dummie Plug killed Touji, Arael put Asuka into a coma that lasted until the invasion of Nerv, and Shinji once again had to listen to Asuka die to SEELE's Evas before Unit-01 would move for him.
In the end, they found each other inside Instrumentality and swore the next time would be different.
5.
The fifth time, everything and nothing was the same. The oceans already red, the Angels different if similar, a new pilot who wasn't Kaworu. It threw them off, having to reconcile memories that...didn't fit this change. But it felt closer to a closing.
Until Shinji made a fatal mistake, trying to steal back Rei from Zeruel instead of killing it—he knew she'd be reborn in a new clone—and Triggered some sort of Impact.
After waking up, he found Asuka no longer remembered, and even his own memory was hazy. In the end, he took Asuka's hand on the Red Beach and asked for another try.
6.
The last time, when Kaworu met Shinji he explained. Instrumentality had given them what they wanted, a “do over”, until they were satisfied.
But the problem was two fold; Shinji needed to allow Instrumentality to start and find closure with his father before forcing it to end and not reset.
This time, when Shinji rejoined Asuka after loosing Kaworu in the bone pit, she remembered. She, backed by a confused but still cheerful Mari, swore this would be the last go.
And it was. Even not knowing what was going on with the two of them, Mari drove her Eva into the budding Instrumentality and pulled Shinji back to where Asuka was waiting, right on the edge. And there, on the edge of Instrumentality, Shinji finally let his father go and took Asuka's hand.
“No more Eva. I know, now, what my father had wanted and why. We're done, now. I only want to move forward.”
And then they blinked awake, seated on a bench at a train station. Faint memories of all they'd been through, and a clear blue sky.

Evangelion: You Can (Not) Marathon — (Part 6)
Neon Genesis Evangelion, “Episode 6: Decisive Battle, New Tokyo-3/Rei II”
Tumblr media
Continuing my Evangelion re-watch marathon with NGE, "Episode 6: Decisive Battle, New Tokyo-3/Rei II"! For my thoughts on the previous episode, click the link to the post below:
With that out of the way, let's dig in!
I love how this episode begins immediately where Episode 5 ended, with Shinji getting immediately blasted by Ramiel’s laser beam the literal moment EVA Unit-01 emerged from the GeoFront's hatch! And seeing Ritsuko’s efforts to revive Shinji after he subsequently went into cardiac arrest and Misato’s efforts to revive him felt incredibly intense! The soundtrack “Angel Attack” (one of my personal favorite scores from the series soundtrack) definitely elevates the suspense in this opening:
youtube
Also, I forgot that NERV could give their pilots a heart massage via the LCL liquid inside the Entry-Plug! That actually kinda makes sense considering that in the Evangelion universe that LCL that the pilots are submerged in is actually the blood of Lilith, aka the seed of life for humanity!
So... that diamond-drill which Ramiel employs to bore into NERV HQ still gives me the absolute shivers! But seeing that I’m also a snarky bastard, I can't help but not think of Freudian psycho-sexual imagery whenever I look at said-elongated drill emerging from the bottom of Ramiel and penetrating the various plate armors below Tokyo-3.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lol dang! I forgot that Misato actually was the one who invented my nickname for Ramiel, the “Flying Fortress” Angel, while describing its absolutely perfect offensive and defensive capabilities!
One of the things that I’ve always felt makes NGE's Angel fights so uniquely distinct from other giant-Kaiju fights in anime is how the battles rely primarily on strategic planning rather than brute force! And Misato’s plan “Operation Yashima” to take down Ramiel is a perfect example of this in how simultaneously insane and ingenious her strategy is!
Alright, so get this... due to the lighting-fast speed of Ramiel’s particle-beam attacks combined with the strength of its AT Field defenses, Misato plans to have the EVA’s utilize a long-range experimental positron sniper rifle to fire a powerful particle beam from Mt. Fukushima outside of the Angel’s firing range, drawing electricity from ALL of Japan’s power lines to create an energy beam powerful enough to penetrate the AT Field and destroy the Angel in a single shot. And the steps to complete plan, including NERV acquiring the positron rifle from the Japanese government (which Misato hilariously has Rei’s EVA Unit-00 steal from the SDF right under their roof, and then tapping all of Japan’s power lines into the rifle, and converting the hull of a disused space shuttle into a makeshift-shield to defend against Ramiel’s particle beam! And all of this has to be completed within the short span of 9 to 10 hours before Ramiel’s drill completely penetrates the armored plates directly above NERV HQ!
This plan is absolutely bonkers and has so many variables that can go wrong, but it’s simultaneously so clever and inventive that I can’t help but love it (especially since NERV’s super computers, "the Magi," determined it to have the best possible outcome of success out of all available strategies despite only having an 8.8% success rate factor)!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh boy! There’s certainly a lot to unpack regarding the scene where Rei wakes up Shinji in the hospital to brief him on Operation Yashima. Firstly, this scene further effectively illustrates just how emotionally detached and distant Rei is considering that she doesn’t even express any concern or relief when Shinji wakes up from a near-death experience, instead jumping the gun to read-over military protocol before coldly tossing a new plug suit onto his lap the moment she see’s he’s awake. While Rei does briefly seem to show some semblance of basic humanity when she offers Shinji a plate of food, she immediately reverts back to her usual detached personality by stating that it’s Shinji’s obligation to continue piloting EVA Unit-01, completely disregarding his fears after just being almost killed by Ramiel, before stating that if Shinji won’t pilot Unit-01 then she’ll act as his substitute, not even seeming to care whether or not she lives or dies in the process.
In addition to further conveying Rei’s emotionless detachment from herself and others, this scene is also effective in showcasing how Rei is willing to blindly and obediently follow the orders of her commanding officers without even considering the well-being of herself or others, almost as if doing so is a completely foreign concept to her. It makes Rei feel eerily robotic and doll-like, further adding to her enigmatic nature.
I am in no way whatsoever foreshadowing anything with the usage of the word "doll" there! Not at all... (sarcasm)
A couple of points about the preparation scene at Mt. Fukushima: I love the lighting of the scene where Misato & Ritsuko are re-briefing Shinji & Rei on the operation, and this exchange between the latter two as they put on their plugsuits conveys an underlying sense of humanity beneath Rei’s cold emotionless exterior:
Shinji: “Maybe this will be our last day alive.” Rei: “Why would you say something like that? You won’t die… I’ll be protecting you…”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here it is! One of the central reoccurring questions that’s asked throughout Evangelion: “What exactly is reason that these 14-year-old children continue to pilot their respective EVA’s.”
We’ve already seen in previous episodes that Shinji hardly pilots the EVA for altruistic reasons like saving humanity from annihilation at the hands of the Angels, but primarily out of a misplaced desire to validate his own depressed and empty existence by attempting to gain the acceptance and validations of others such as his scumbag father Gendo or his flawed but well-meaning caretaker Misato. But the question of why Shinji continues to pilot is one which he keeps coming back to due to just how stressful and traumatic the experience has been for him so far.
So wanting to understand why someone else like Rei would conversely be so willing to throw her self into danger seemingly without any care, a Shinji can’t help but ask her why she decides to pilot the EVA. And although Rei’s answer is incredibly vague at first glance, it ultimately reveals and foreshadows so much about her character. Rei pilots EVA Unit-00 because, “[She’s] bonded to it," that it represents "a bond.” Not necessarily a bond between herself and Gendo like Shinji initally suspects, but to “all people,” telling him that she has nothing else before standing up directly in front of the pale moonlight and ominously stating, “Goodbye Shinji.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Essentially, this scene subtly foreshadows the later reveal of Rei’s true identity as the reincarnated soul of humanity’s progenitor Lilith, as is conveyed through both her statement of being “[Bonded] to all people [and having] nothing else,” as well as the shot of her underneath the gaze of the white moon light being reflective of the contrast between the Angel’s progenitor Adam’s vessel, “the lost White Moon,” and Lilith’s vessel being "the Black Moon” buried underneath Tokyo-3 which the NERV GeoFront is a part of. Said-bond to all people is also reflective of Rei’s currents lack of tangible bonds to other people, with even her attachment to Gendo being one of militant subservience rather than legitimate parental/child affection.
Plus, Rei’s “goodbye” highlights her suicidal belief that she’s a disposable piece of hardware who doesn’t care whether or not she lives or dies in battle as long as she successfully completes her mission. And the fact that Rei’s soul is also the soul of Lilith also suggests the idea that her empty nihilistic behavior is symbolic of the feelings of emptiness and hopelessness which predominate all of humanity in the EVA universe following Second Impact, similar to how Shinji will later become an avatar representing all of humanity during Third Impact in The End of Evangelion!
You can definitely tell Anno was planting the seeds of Rei’s true identity (and how it ties into the series overall mythos and finale) from the very beginning! I absolutely love it!
Still... for the sake of craps and giggles, considering my earlier usage of the phrase "pale moonlight" as well as the fact that Lilith according to both Mesopotamian and Judaic mythology is the first wife of Adam and the primordial mother of all demons, (which basically means that all humans in the EVA universe are essentially demons from a certain point of view…), I can't help but think of this classic line from Tim Burton's Batman when I see the image of Rei standing in front of the moon:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I absolutely love the pattern-effect of the positron rifle’s energy-beam completely diverting Ramiel’s particle-beam during the first failed sniper-shot, plus the melted-plastic texture of EVA Units-00 and 01 when Rei desperately tries to shield Shinji before he fires a successful second shot, destroying the Angel!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The decision to have the ending of Episode 6 identically mirror the beginning of Episode 5 was a perfect way bookending this two-parter! Especially since while Shinji does end up saving Rei here in a manner exactly identical to how Gendo did during the first Unit-00 activation test, in contrast to his father Shinji presents himself to Rei as visibly more emotional and caring, not only asking if Rei is alright like Gendo did, but also telling her to never say goodbye in such a suicidal manner like she previously did before he bursts into tears. In contrast to Gendo’s distant “I see" response, Shinji’s tearful breakdown is so completely foreign to Rei that she doesn’t know how to respond to this situation before Shinji asks her to smile, suddenly reminding her of a similar gesture she once received from Gendo. Realizing that she’s starting to form a more sincere and legitimate bond with someone else, Rei can’t help but show a visible emotion for the first time ever by responding to Shinji’s kindness with a genuine heartfelt smile!
What a perfect bit of character development for Rei to end the episode on! Episode 5 began with her only possessing a hollow and subservient bond to Gendo who only see’s her as a tool, whereas by the end of Episode 6 she’s beginning to form a legitimate and meaningful bond with Shinji who conversely see’s her as a person. It also demonstrates a level of empathy not previously conveyed by Shinji, whom instead of wallowing in his own depressive self-pity, has now found someone who’s existence is even more empty and directionless than his own, and genuinely wants to help her self-actualize and discover her true purpose for existing! In that regard, Episode 6 serves as an important stepping stone not only for Rei’s character development, but for Shinji’s as well!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As heartwarming as this scene is, I still can’t help but feel that it’s a tad unrealistic for Rei to form such a sweet and innocent smile so easily after apparently never having smiled before in her entire life. If this scene were to play more realistically, it’d be like that hilarious David Willis' Shortpacked! parody webcomic version of this scene!
Tumblr media
Being serious again though, I feel that I should indulge in some behind-the-scenes trivia concerning Rei's characterization. In a 1996 interview with Rei's Japanese voice actress, Megumi Hayashibara (who also provides the voice of Shinji's mother, Yui Ikari), she stated that despite the character's apparent lack of visible emotion, "Rei's beauty comes from the truth that she has feelings." According to Hayashibara, Hideaki Anno informed her during the directorial process that, "It's not that [Rei] doesn't have emotion, but that she doesn't know what it is," which contributed to Hayashibara delivering her lines in a manner that's simultaneously flat yet meaningful, like she's struggling to draw out the feelings "hidden deep inside [her] heart."
And I personally felt that Amanda Winn Lee carried over this same kind of energy to her performance as Rei in the ADV dub! Which is quite an accomplishment considering that Winn Lee's personality IRL is incredibly open and snarky, which is a stark contrast to Rei's quiet and reserved demeanor.
One last note before wrapping up, I'm kinda embarrassed to admit this, but it took me forever to realize that the silhouetted figure spinning underneath the water upside-down in front of the moon during the closing credits is actually supposed to be Rei (when I first watched the series back in college I honestly mistakened said-silhouette for Shinji). Both the presence of the moon combined with being submerged in liquid definitely feels like further visual foreshadowing to Rei’s role as Lilith in The End of Evangelion!
Tumblr media
So yeah, that was NGE, "Episode 6: Decisive Battle, New Tokyo-3/Rei II" and both it along with the previous episode reminded me of why I was initially so captivated by Rei’s unique enigmatic nature (therefore making me want to learn more about her)! Rewatching these episodes has helped me gain an even greater appreciation for the sheer amount of characterization and development she receives in only just under an hour’s worth of screen time! It's very impressive work on Anno’s part!
Which is actually somewhat ironic considering that Anno has openly expressed that out of all the characters in NGE Rei is the one he feels the least attached to. Specifically, in a 1997 interview Anno stated that, "I don't really understand [Rei]. The truth is, I have no emotional attachment to her at all. [...] At the end [of the sixth episode], when Rei says, 'I don't know what kind of expression I should have at a time like this,' and Shinji says, 'I think you should smile,' and Rei smiles. [...] When I thought about it afterwards, I cursed. I thought, in short, that if she has [already] communicated with Shinji there, then isn't she over with? At that moment, Rei, for me, was finished, all at once."
This attitude is also apparent in the notable differences in the portrayal Rei's character was portrayed between the NGE anime and the official manga adaptation for the series written & illustrated by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (who was also the lead-character designer for NGE). While it's not the only difference between the manga and anime despite both versions sharing the exact same plot beats (but interpreted much differently), Sadamoto dedicated a lot more time and focus to Rei and her relationship with Shinji in the manga version of the story, Anno was more openly interested in exploring the dynamic between Shinji & Asuka (which will become evident once Asuka debuts in Episode 8...). Despite this, I do love the amount of development Anno provided for Rei's character in both Episodes 5 & 6 as well as later on in the series' later episodes and The End of Evangelion movie, demonstrating that he still understood and respected her importance in the narrative!
But yeah, I overall really enjoyed Episodes 5 & 6! Next up is Episode 7 which... while by no means a bad episode and is still a lot of fun from what I remember, was always my personal least favorite episode in NGE (even more so than the "Magmadiver" episode which is seemingly universally derided by a large amount of the EVA fanbase, which always confused me since I personally really loved that episode). But anyways... let's see how I feel about Episode 7 upon rewatch...

Everyone, allow me to introduce Aria.
Like myself, she is also an Infernal of the Goetia class. The two of us were betrothed at a very young age, with our marriage to consolidate the power and influence of our respective families.
I was told absolutely none of this before I left Hell.
It would be many, many years before I learned of this, from Aria herself. She was seeking refuge in Heaven in order to escape being wed. It turns out that the plan of uniting the families was still under way, and Aria would instead marry my younger sister, Lilith.
Hell is a place where the worst desires and violence are often encouraged against others, usually mortal souls, but most viewed even Lilith as taking her sadism much too far. This, Aria told me, was why she escaped. I had already been married to my love, Mirage, for quite some time by this point, but Aria made it clear that she had no intention of pursuing me romantically. To her, our engagement was purely business.
My dad and I opted to host her with us for the time being, however, we both could clearly see that Aria was incredibly uncomfortable in Heaven.
We learned that demons who had an allegiance to Hell could not withstand being in Heaven for long, as the light that permeated the entire realm was too much for them to bear. I never had this problem due to the fact that I had no reason to pledge allegiance to Hell in the first place, and now I state Heaven as my home. Still, I would opt to defend her from many of the detractors that I had, though made it clear to her as well that I would be keeping a watch on her. She didn’t have issue with this.
After a time, she noticed that Caleb was eyeing her. It was clear to us that he was attracted to her, as I and a few others had to admit that Aria had a beauty to her. She developed a habit of teasing him, but to the surprise of everyone, something deeper began to blossom between them. I have to admit, it reminded me of when Mirage and I began to get romantically involved with each other.
Aria would eventually declare her defection from Hell, stating that now that she’s finally felt what love could be like, she wanted to share it with Caleb. The discomfort she felt from Heaven’s influence also faded away at that point.
One key skill to note of Aria is that she is a fantastic singer. There is no power to her voice like there is to my violin, however. Despite this, her music is something she pours her heart into. She ended up making an enemy of a native Celestial with a gorgeous voice and a bad attitude to match, but a song made in passion will always be greater than one made for attention, I feel.
One thing I’ve also learned of Aria is that initially she didn’t have this reptilian-feline form. It was one she developed when she was told that she was destined to be my wife. She initially had a human shape, but adopted this one since she felt that a union of a human and coyote, despite the fact that both of us being demons who merely had different outward projections, felt too strange. She’s grown attached to the form since.

Entry 71: A Character We All Forgot About Dies On The Stairway With Contradictory Geography
Class Profile - Oni Chieftain
A class exclusive to this game and promotion for Oni Savages. Continues their high strength and defense with an interesting boost to magic stats and ability to use Tomes. Class of Kumegara, possible promotion for Rinkah and Kenshi. Death Blow boosts Crit Rate when attacking, which isn’t enough to make up for their 0% Skill growth. Also they have 0% luck because being critted constantly is great for a tanking class. Their other skill, Counter allows them to be better tanks by hurting units who attack them with melee weapons. Design wise, Oni Chieftains are amazing, wearing Oni masks, chestplates and kneeplads that look like Oni faces, skulls hanging from their belts, and a torn scarf. Also one of those Gaara gourd thingies.
Class Profile - Onmyoji
This game’s equivalent of Sages, a promotion for Diviners, Shrine Maidens, and Monks that wields Tomes and Staves. Class of Izana, possible promotion for Orochi, Hayato, Sakura, Azama, Mitama and Rhajat. Rally Magic and Tomefaire are self-explanatory. Design-wise, their shoulder pad elbow things are kinda dumb, as are their pope hats, but other than that they’re fine.
Class Profile - Paladin
A promoted form of the Cavalier class. Class of Xander, possible class for Silas, Peri, Siegbert and Sophie. Wields Swords and Lances. Their skill Defender boosts stats during Guard Stance, while Aegis is an activation skill that haves ranged damage. Design-wise, they keep the great pseudo centurion look of Cavaliers. Female Paladins still wear thongs because gamers are as a whole pretty cool with blatant misogyny.
Conquest Chapter 21: Eternal Stairway
Garon and Iago scheme to make Moron suffer. Again. Like half of Conquest begins with this scene of Iago coming up with some evil scheme. Back with the party, Moron is busy climbing the Eternal Stairway. As a reminder, in Birthright the Eternal Stairway had Hoshido at the bottom and the Wind Tribe at the top, something the writers somehow forgot. Jakob and Felicia find corpses of Hoshidan soldiers. The Faceless who killed the Hoshidans run in and attack Moron’s platoon.
This is an escape map featuring endless waves of Faceless possessing Savage Blow and Void Curse, a skill that prevents you from grinding. After escaping, the story continues with a cutscene in which Moron has not escaped and is being demolished by Faceless. Azura notes that the Faceless are focussing almost exclusively on Moron. Xander tells Moron to run while he stays behind to holds off the waves of enemies. Moron objects, but Azura insists they leave, because Moron is the fated hero and all that shit.
Moron runs, leaving Xander and Azura behind. Not sure what Azura was planning to do, considering her complete lack of combat skills. As Moron is exiting at the top of the Eternal Stairway, a single Faceless attacks. Moron, who just waltzed through an army of Faceless without any problem, needs to be saved by Lilith, who sacrifices herself by flying in front of the Faceless’s blow.
This sequence is reused from Birthright but its more farfetched and worse because instead of being killed by Hans, a detestable character who Moron can get revenge on, Lilith is killed by a generic enemy. Lilith turns human, blah blah blah, found family, blah blah blah. She dies for the sake of drama.
Xander and Azura come back, having survived nobly sacrificing themselves, something that really didn’t need to happen. Xander tells Moron to stay strong and not let one death distract them from their imperialism.
I’d like to note that Lilith’s theme plays during this scene, which almost makes it sad. This game has good music. Too bad the writing is atrocious.
Support: Beruka/Leo
C: Leo asks Beruka who trained her. Beruka says that she doesn't know the name of the old assassin who trained her and also that she killed him.
B: Leo asks about the mentor killing and Beruka says that she did not hate her mentor but still killed him without remorse because she was hired to.
A: Leo says he isn't scared of Beruka killing him, even though she absolutely would if paid to, because Beruka is loyal to Camilla and is his ally.
S: Leo asks if Beruka would kill a loved one. She says she never had anyone who loved her and Leo says he loves her. Beruka's heart grows three sizes that day.
Review: Decent, but doesn’t stand out enough when compared to other Beruka Supports.
Support: Charlotte/Keaton
C: Charlotte makes Keaton lunch and asks to see his treasures.
B: Keaton shows her his garbage pile and Charlotte threatens to murder him.
A: After charlotte asks for shiny treasure, Keaton gets her marbles and a broken mirror. Charlotte tears into him for only owning garbage. Begrugingly, she agrees to make him lunch again.
S: Keaton tells Charlotte that he's a good hunter that could provide for her. Charlotte accepts a life with a guy who isn't rich.
Review: Fun but not spectacular.
Support: Effie/Silas
C: Effie asks Silas why he fights for Nohr. Silas says that, like her, he serves his liege. Effie gets mad and says he isn't like her.
B: Silas says he's dedicated and Effie doubts him. Silas says he'll show her in battle and Elise says she'd rather focus on Elise.
A: Elise shows Silas scars she got protecting Elise that makes her better than Silas.
S: Silas says he wants to protect someone other than Corrin: Effie.
Review: Well that was stupid. Effie is weirdly hostile and her argument for it is that she’s more dedicated because Silas hasn’t been gravely injured? He’s been doing this for a few weeks, Effie, give him time.
Support: Azura/Jakob
C: Jakob sees Azura singing the first line of the song, it's always the first line by the way, and Azura says that her mother taught her that song. Jakob says he doesn't remember what his mother looked like.
B: Azura asks about Jakob's childhood. Something I've noticed, she always asks about other people's pasts and never offers to say anything about hers in return. Jakob says that his parents abandoned him to be a servant for the royal family.
A: Jakob says that he's grateful his abusive parents abandoned him because it led to him meeting Corrin and repeats the story of him and Corrin becoming friends.
S: Jakob and Azura say that they love each other and make each other at ease. Azura says she would go through all the pain in her past again because it brought her to Jakob.
Review: A fairly short one, but not too bad. Azura’s line in the S-Rank is poignant, but I don’t think the two of them have enough chemistry for it to work.

JUNO in hard aspect to personal planets (especially Sun, Moon and Venus)
... and generally prominent in the Chart or Synastry (conjunct IC/MC, AC/DC etc)
~ FAITHFUL TO A FAULT? ~
I have the Juno/ Moon inconjunct and for the longest time I’ve wondered what that actually means (as it’s harder to get by interpretations for Juno aspects as well as for the quincunx aspect in general).
Asteroid Juno is the archetype of the faithful, loyal and devoted wife. Commitment over everything! She is, in a way, the opposite of Lilith as Lilith is the independent, fierce and non-compromising woman who will never bow to any man, or anyone, for that matter.
Asteroids Lilith energy (in my eyes) can be seen as a mix of the dark, deep and uncompromising aspects of Scorpio combined with the ultra-independent, free willed and sometimes radical nature of Aquarius. She’s a rebel and a trouble maker and at the same time she’s a liberator and the defender of free will, individuality, equality and the self. Of course there’s a fair bit of Aries thrown in there as well as Lilith is all about instinct, our basic needs and a me-first attitude.
Juno, on the other hand, is a mix of Libra and Taurus with some Cancer. She thrives for balance, harmony and stability. She’s the ever forgiving wife, trying to hold the marriage together for the sake of the union and commitment. She can endure a lot and she’s always looking for union, always looking for reconciliation. She doesn’t count tit for tat. She will welcome you with open arms and look for ways to make things work, for the sake of it. She compromises and puts the relationship first and she can be very family-oriented although the focus is on the „foundation“ of the family unit, being the relationship.
As with every planet and asteroid in Astrology, both qualities (that of Lilith and of Juno are needed), at least in form of their positive, mature and purest expression.
Also, everyone will be different when it comes to expressing those energies and experiencing them in their lives which can be seen within their Charts. Transits and Synastry contacts can bring further insights and bring those themes to life so transformative experiences can happen.
Anyways, back to topic.
Juno in positive aspect (trine, sextile, and in this case conjunction) to the personal planets (especially the relationship planets Sun, Moon and Venus) will give someone an attitude of harmonizing relationships, avoiding unnecessary conflict and being faithful, true and committed to the people in their lives. They will be devoted in a healthy way and carry the virtues mentioned above in a way that brings people together. Very beneficial. This can show in relationships, friendships, work relationships and within familial ties. You can look at the individual Chart for further insights.
The conjunction will probably be a little more gullible than the trine and sextile and more prone to the more „negative“ associations of Juno (being naive or too lenient).
What about the harsh aspects (square, opposition, quincunx) then?
From my experience (Moon quincunx Juno), those constellations will make someone compliant and devoted to a fault. It’s the kind of wife who will let her husband cheat on her but forgive him everytime. It’s the kind of man who will let his girlfriend mistreat him and never step up. In a way, it could be seen as missing Lilith energy (the fighter spirit, ready to defend the self against all odds).
None of this is said in a way to be judged. Who are we to say someone should not forgive their partner for cheating etc? It’s all about what feels good, justifiable and desirable for the person who experiences something. Having Uranus prominent in my Chart, I am all for „each their own“ and I am an advocate that everyone is entitled to their own truth.
However, as with most adverse aspects, the energies may not always feel good to the native themselves.
For me (Moon/Juno quincunx) it’s about giving up my emotions (Moon) for the sake of harmony within the relationship (Juno), even if I don’t know if that is actually necessary. It’s very much encouraged by my prominent Neptune and I don’t do this consciously, and it’s something I am working on. It can get to a point where I only start to feel my emotions again when I’m by myself. This happens in relationships and close friendships, too. Doesn’t help that the Moon is the ruler of my 7th House (close relationships) and hidden away in the 8th (suppression) in the sign of Virgo (service to others).
When finding out more about your personal Juno aspects it can be helpful to see how your parents behaved in terms of Juno qualities. My Moon (mother) in quincunx to Juno shows that it’s something I learned from / saw in my mother, and I relate to that. Juno is def something that we „learn“ / see from our own parents relationship and their behavior within and attitudes towards committed relationships.
As with everything in Astrology I do not believe in „bad“ aspects and I do believe there is something to learn from every aspect we have - something our Soul chose to try to learn, otherwise we wouldn’t have this aspect.
So called adverse aspects make us learn through adversity rather than though flow situations. We learn from „good“ and “bad“ aspects - and learning from bad aspects can have ever so powerful results and they let us progress in ways that a beneficial aspect (one we have probably already mastered in other life times) can’t, because we have already mastered that and are now more on the side of reaping its benefits. Working though your difficult aspects brings you closer to Wholeness, just like beneficial aspects help you doing this by providing you with resources to master them.
Anyways, what are your Juno aspects (and Lilith, for that matter) and how do you feel it’s played out on your life?
Do you feel that what I described holds true in your case?
