If you look through Church History it seems that people were willing to be way more creative than we are when reading their Bibles. [17:38]

A good example of this is John Calvin, he preaches this interesting Message on Genesis 27, if you're not familiar with that.

That's where Jacob & Esau are battling with one another & Jacob dresses up like Esau, remember he like puts fur on his hands & he sneaks into his father's presence & —his father is so pleased with the older son, that like he makes these promises & yet they apply to Jacob because it's Jacob even though he thinks it's Esau!

Well here's what Calvin did, was fantastically creative, I don't know that it's authoritative. Calvin pulling from another Church father by the Name of Ambrose says:

It is not just you are a son, it is as if you are the SON—that death & Resurrection would bring about a new closeness with the FATHER to the degree that JESUS goes on to say [& this is that confusing line HE says]:

Look you're not even going to have to basically ask ME to ask HIM, you're going to be able to go directly to the FATHER.

Another flag could be flown here: Well I thought JESUS was our Great Intercessor,

JESUS’ intercession for those of you who are theologically astute means that HE makes it possible for us to enter into HIS presence.

Priests would offer sacrifices that would open up the ears of GOD, if you will JESUS has offered the sacrifice that opens up the ears of the FATHER.

It's not as if we're praying to JESUS WHO is talking to the FATHER on our behalf, HE's saying now because of what's going to take place in MY death & resurrection

And you ask for whatever you need; & notice what HE's going to add, to this he says the FATHER HIMSELF will answer because HE loves you;

HE HIMSELF loves you, see that in v.27 the Greek is emphatic as is the English. It's not that the FATHER just loves the son.

The FATHER HIMSELF, HE loves you!

HE includes you! There's a new closeness now that should give you some confidence, like when you pray to GOD. HE is open expectant, desirous even to answer your prayer.

HE wants to meet the needs of HIS children.

I can't help but think that some of us: For Better or Worse, we just with FATHER's Day coming up. I say this mildly, we've got some dad issues like everybody can point to issues that they had with their FATHER.

They knew that the relationship wasn't what it needed to be

I'm sure my children could think the same of me. Some were good, but not perfect; some were not that good.

The thing that gets me about Harry's disco throwback clothing is that, in the game setting, disco wasn't that long ago. The game is set in '51 and disco was a late 20s-30's phenomenon. Him walking around in flared pants and a green crocodile skin shoes seems quirky to us, the audience, but in the context of the game he's wearing the worst fashion from 25 years ago. Imagine having to talk to the cops and the detective interviewing you is dressed like this:

I was glad that this interview addressed that Rick and Morty's voices are pretty complex. This was an unpopular opinion even before he got canned, but I actually thought Justin Roiland was a decent voice actor who convincingly voiced Rick's character development. But he's also a waste of space, so I'm not going to sit here and gush about him.

But yeah, I was worried that they'd hire a guy who can yell "PICKLE RICK!!!!" and say "Aw jeez" but doesn't understand the characters' nuances. Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden nailed the subtleties AND voiced different versions of the characters: the C-137s, Prime Rick, Evil Morty, Ricks with different accents and even season one Rick and Morty in flashbacks (I believe they re-recorded those?)

It's wild how their IMDB pages are mostly short roles and background characters, and now they're suddenly voicing two of the world's most famous leads. And they're portraying them brilliantly, not just yelling into the mic like a drunk guy in a bar.

THIS…..I’ve never really been a Bieber fan because his music was never really my style but it was obvious the same formula was applied to the other guys to make different versions of JB, especially with Cody and Austin back in the day before they got older and established their own sound

Overall, I’m happy everyone has developed their own concept these past few years but I honestly felt bad for those guys cause those labels were so money hungry and I’m pretty sure they themselves knew what the labels and execs were trying to do
