What made you pick up this character?

I am weak for handsome men. For Dan Heng specifically, and this is like before I got to know more about his backstory (and in later updates)- He gave off a mysterious vibe, left an impression of cold and logical, and he felt like someone who would rather be in the background and supporting people. BUT! He will take the lead and fight in order to protect his friends! And then it turns out he had a complicated past that I just want to dissect slowly. :eyes:

2. What's the best thing about the show/series/books/comic/etc.?

Bailu. She, along with Himeko, are the reason why I picked up HSR. I saw Bailu and I was like, "DRAGON DOTTER". Then I saw Himeko and I was like, "DRUNK AUNT IS BACKK" After that, I'm not usually a Science-Fiction kind of person. But Honkai Star Rail so far is leaving me very hooked on their worldbuilding and story so far. And then the relationships between the characters I very much adore.

10. Would you say that your portrayal is canon divergent or not?

In general for Dan Heng, I would say yes because alot of the HC's I have for Dan Heng is pretty exploring his past before the game, his inner-struggles, and his POV whenever he is not with the Trailblazer.

17. Are there any ships you can't stand, why?

Hmm. It would be incorrect to say I can't stand the ship, I am more picky/wary about the ships in mind. Also, I'm sorry but I don't think I feel comfortable enough answering which ships here, Terios. If you and anyone else are curious, please ask me in my DMs. **NOTE: This isn't directed to anyone I know on tumblr but another group I am close with. The people here on tumblr have been wonderful to meet and I've been enjoying their interpretation of the ships. My personal motto when it comes to ships and other people enjoying different ships from me: If you're having fun and staying in your circle, and you're not bothering (shitting) people who are having fun in their own circle (example: my ship is better than your ship because yadda yadda yadda), everything is good. This is different from someone telling me they don't like/vibe with a ship. You don't have to give me a reason why, I will respect that. I don't mind if you want to explain why as long as you don't like...put that ship down just to make yours better and expect other people to feel the same if they do not.

“he’s annoying” or “he talks too much” or “he’s too clingy and got offended when i was in a relationship” (which was a BUG, it takes two seconds to do some research before jumping to conclusions) are the most stupid reasons to actually hate a character.

he’s the one that has the warmest personality when you first meet him as well, so i just don’t get it?? i’m not saying you’re not allowed to dislike him, and this doesn’t apply to everyone, but SOMETIMES it feels like people just hop on a “hate bandwagon” because i see so many comments (especially on tiktok… where most of the people only started playing because it’s “trendy” now) about him that are the exact same as each other and it’s like people have lost the ability to think for themselves and form their own opinions after actually playing the game properly and learning about the characters.

so many people even go on about how it’s a turn off that he “doesn’t shut up about his ex”… like maybe actually continue playing the story to understand why it’s a significant conversation to have and why it’s a huge part of his character arc, and stop being weirdly bitter/jealous/annoyed when the man is also a VICTIM that has been manipulated and abused in a relationship with a massive power imbalance.

It aren’t about anyone here, but while it's already been stated on guideline, to make a personal psa in depth, if we notice the Starwake System and especially Micah are being infantilized / overly sexualized / excessively underestimated, it's a hardblock. A prominent pattern we notice is when most prompts we're given from a mun involves Micah being comforted / assisted, which we personally find it demeaning. Especially as an Asian individual who experiences all of these three aspects in the rpc / on the internet and especially in real life, I'm really not in the mood to let our muses, especially my most beloved Asian OCs, be subjected to such treatments.

With Micah in this case when it comes to infantilization and the underestimating, they are extremely emotional and sensitive as they can be childish and dependent, just as I am too, but no muses should be always babying and underestimating them. Micah is quite powerful and skilled, and they were quite known to be highly aggressive and wrathful when they were younger--- they CAN be so as wrath is actually their biggest vice, believe it or not, it's just they actively choose not to / try not to due to experiences and mindsets while they had gone through sessions with both their personal therapist and alter therapist with Phoebus who helped them find ways to manage their anger issues and intrusive thoughts. There's just so many layers and factors to their "childlike" traits that I can write essays on, but basically, their traumas and lack of certain experiences and treatments and having certain needs make them the way they are. I'd never write characters as silly or childish to poke fun or coddle and people shouldn't either nor narrow characters into one trait because they happen to have foolish or childish traits.

Being small and petite or emotional and gentle, what have you, should not make one a weak person and I really wish more folks can understand that, truly, speaking out for both characters and people.

i hate knowing that i would be so fucking good at and have so much fun with GTA RP while also being physically incapable of even trying it out.

i've just realized that every time someone asks me how I write so fast, I always answer as if they've asked how fast i TYPE. because to me, writing is a no-thoughts process. somehow. a first draft is always just me blacking out and coming to 5 hours later with 75 pages written. like I dunno!!!! the characters just take over!!!!!! I don't think it all just HAPPENS and I'm just recording it like a court scribe or some shit like these bitches are volleyballing back and forth and i'm desperately trying to keep up. of COURSE i type fast these bitches in my head are playing goddamn ping pong they're playing tennis and I'm just desperately trying to keep my eye on the goddamn ball.

about to chew on discord a little bit i think we've posted something like this before but i forget. anyways the thought of maybe making a discord server for paper mario introjects (i'm. not sure what a good umbrella term besides introtive would be bc i know that fictives aren't the only kind here). mainly because i'm tired of there hardly being a space for us specifically (if i want to find like,, any sort of stuff that might be somewhat related it's usually kin related which! i'm glad there's at least some stuff out there for y'all but we'd like some stuff of our own too). it's a nice thought i think i just. we have no past experience running a public discord server is the thing (and also i. will struggle partially because i forget to respond to shit and also i just. very low social battery here)

our original thought was like. specifically pmtok introjects but honestly i. doubt there's that many of us outside of this system lol /lh /hj and plus i don't uh. thing there's any servers specifically for paper mario introjects in general actually? or at least any that i could find. but yeahh i'm considering it because i kind of just. want a specific space and it feels really awkward with some of us being pmtok introjects while also. interacting with the fandom. idk yet though i'd have to see if anyone's interested enough in the idea before attempting
