FLUORIDE BUG KILLER #insects #bugs #repellant #killer
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons of sugar
4 tablespoons of flour
3 tablespoons of toothpaste
3 tablespoons of water
Method:
1. Prepare the Mixture: In a bowl, combine the sugar, flour, toothpaste, and water. Mix thoroughly until you achieve a smooth consistency.
2. Form Balls: Take small amounts of the mixture and roll them into small balls. These balls will serve as bait for the cockroaches.
3. Strategic Placement: Position the balls in the corners of your home that are frequented by cockroaches. Focus on areas like the kitchen, pantry, and behind appliances.
4. Attract and Eliminate: Cockroaches will be drawn to the sugar in the mixture and will ingest parts of the balls. The toothpaste acts similarly to poison, effectively eliminating the pests.
5. Repeat Regularly: Repeat this process two to three times a week until you no longer spot any cockroaches. Consistency is key to ensuring their complete eradication.

Since spring is blooming and summer fast approaching, roaches have returned. I saw one a few nights ago atop an empty cabnet door and a glimpse of another tonight crawling between a drawer.
While i dont mind roaches as a species, theyre not welcome in my home. I'm a clean person, but since I live in an apartment they can be a collective issue. And, as with any bug, they will inevitably find their way inside because theyre so small and can fit through cracks and gaps in walls and doors. So repelling them as much as possible is obligatory.
I usually kill them on sight when i see them, which I've become good at, but every now and then I'll spare them by catch-and-release. I dont enjoy killing the roaches as much as I dont enjoy seeing them inside because, again, I dont hate roaches for what they are, and I respect their important niches in nature. Also, tbh, I dont like the idea of getting roach guts everywhere after I smash them lol. So I looked up a few natural remedies for repelling them, particularly the German cockroach variety that usually intrudes where i live.
This article gives tips on natural and easy methods to repell roaches, including a few natural insecticides like boric acid:
I liked this article for listing various plants that can or could repell roaches:
The article about insecticidal herbs and plants inspires me to finally invest in growing plants in my home. Id rlly like to try my hand at growing plants, especially since I have compost to help out.
Hopefully some of the plants listed in the article are shade-friendly 😭. My unit doesnt get much sunlight for long lol.
