Hey I’m going to be so honest with all the threats of AI and now people trying to steal fics to put into apps and all that stuff I might genuinely delete all of my works and only share them with safe and trusted people. I’m going to think about this decision but I don’t trust that anyone who does this and this lore app or whatever will actually listen to the opt-out.
When I come to a decision I will make a post about it, but this app might be the breaking point for me and many others.
My fics will not be used for AI. They will not be used to gain profit for someone else.

**Small but Important Updates**
Hi everyone!! As per the poll's results, I have updated the list for day 7! The prompts were 'Dirty Talk | Rimming' and are now 'Shibari/Bondage | Rimming'. I hope this doesn't throw anyone off who has already started writing!! Rest assured that 'Dirty Talk' is still a prompt for day 30!
Also, as per an ask I received earlier, I have created an AO3 account for this event and will be opening a collection once we get closer to October! Everyone who isn't going to be using tumblr for Kinktober will be able to upload their works there. :)

I'M MOVING ACCOUNTS!

Some background information behind my decision:
I made this account a year ago and at that point, I did not understand how Tumblr's account system worked. I thought that if I made another sideblog, I could use it like a main. Clearly, I was incorrect in that assumption.
Therefore, this whole year, I've been reblogging and building my space on this site through a sideblog, and let me tell you, that is not. fun. and generally just confusing for everyone I interact with.
So, the solution that's been rattling around in my brain for the past few months has been to move accounts to my "main" blog.
Now, how is this going to work?
Well, over the next few weeks, I'm going to be reblogging almost all of the content that is already on this blog and deleting them from here
I will also be switching my usernames. So my main blog (formerly: its-still-atlass) will become its-atlass, and this blog (formerly: its-atlass) will fall under the name its-still-atlass. Hopefully this won't be too confusing 😅
What will happen to this sideblog?
This blog, once the fandom content is removed, will become a place for shitposts (both fandom and general) and random infodumps. I'll still be posting and reblogging my regular fic and fandom stuff onto the "main" account though, so nothing is really going to change for that
Thank you for understanding and having patience for me during this transitional period and I hope to see y'all on the "main" account soon :)

Maggie's Return
Hi all,
Thank you for all the love you've given the Cast Chart over the past two years. I just wanted to give some information re: Maggie Lacasse's potential Six Return as I've seen many quote my Cast Chart as a definite source for her return.
I am not 100% certain that Maggie is coming back on April 9, it is just speculation based on the date she posted she was coming back and in rehearsals and that Abigail said her Parr dates are her "last scheduled dates for a while". As a reminder, ANY future dates for ANY production are ALWAYS scheduled to change!

time for a change
hii y'all !! i hope you've had a great summer so far. i know a lot of you know that i'm taking a brief hiatus from criminal minds for a few weeks just to respark my inspiration and stuff, but the more i was thinking the more i realized that i wanted to change up the direction of this blog.
i will always love criminal minds, and my time writing for it is nowhere near done. that being said, i also really love other fandoms and having to make sideblogs for them is getting to be pretty stressful. not to mention, it was putting a lot of pressure on my cm writing because it was my "main blog/main fandom" you know??
so, the change. from here on out, this blog will be a multifandom blog. don't worry, i'll be tagging everything with the respective fandom so if you don't want to see content for a certain fandom please feel free to block those tags. also, if you simply don't want to follow me anymore because of it then i'll miss you, but i'll completely understand.
the first fandom joining this blog? stranger things. i will be tagging all posts with the fandom tag and in addition, i'll also be tagging my fics with #stranger jays in case you simply don't want to see fics i write for that fandom.
also as a note, i know i'll be posting gifs and fics related to billy hargrove and the harringrove ship, but rest assured i will no longer be answering any asks regarding hate and will not be talking about/reblogging about fandom discourse related to the character. it's all about positivity here from now on 💜

Important Update: Subscriber rewards and commission pricing
Been having difficulty with the discount reward due to not having a payment processor that takes discounts, so I decided to remove the discounts for now. Instead, tiers Singer, Bard, and Muse get free flat-color art every month on request, from a bust to a half-body to a fullbody respectively.
If anyone has suggestions for a payment processor besides buymeacoffee (or if anyone knows how to set up discounts on bmac), please tell me!

Important Fic Updates!
Lads, I hate to say it but I don't think my Halloween oneshot (I Did Not Sign Up For This) will be finished before Halloween :(. Life's been kicking my ass these past few weeks between Uni and work and trying to finish some other projects irl, and I wouldn't feel good putting out what I have now. Now that being said, it will be released eventually, I just need a break from the stress of it right now.
As for Make It Out, I'm working really hard on the chapter coming out this weekend and it's gonna be a LONG one. But after that I'm gonna be taking a two week break before posting the last chapter of this act. After the last chapter, Make It Out will take a hiatus and pick up again around late spring, early summer-ish for act 2.

lmao tumblr letting their users choose whether or not they want their likes to be public but then pulling a twitter 2.0 and showing your likes on your followers’ dashboards and specially saying who liked the posts in their new update, without the users’ consent or a way to turn it off, is actually pretty insane.
like how many times to we — the users — have to tell them we don’t want tumblr to be like any other social media platforms and that tumblr’s being different than twitter, instagram, tiktok is actually what makes us stay on this silly little site.
respectfully @staff you’re driving your users away. stop trying to “fix” things that are good and don’t need to be fixed. we want tumblr to be tumblr. we don’t want the site to be twitter or instagram 2.0
edit: so at first I was under the impression that you could turn off the “posts liked by blogs you follow” in your dashboard preferences, but couldn’t control how your own likes showed up on the dashboards of your followers, after I saw several posts claiming that this was the case. — however, now I think I might be wrong and it thankfully does look like as long as you have your likes set to private, they will stay private and will not be showing up on your followers’ dashboards. apologize for any misunderstanding this may have caused.
* from my understanding now, you can choose not to see other people’s likes by going to your dashboard preferences in the settings and turning off the “posts liked by blogs you follow” option, and if you have your own likes set to private, they won’t be showing up on your followers’ dashboards.
