Ok - so there’s zero reason for this kind of outrage. Especially to attack me in my inbox where you assumed this would be private - I don’t believe I was preaching - I was reaching out to someone who professes to believe the same things I was raised with, to ask her for some calm introspection before she continued to engage a community of people she clearly doesn’t agree with nor need to interact with but is choosing to do so anyhow.
I wasn’t saying my mom is a minister because that makes her “someone” only mentioned it because I wanted to give background to how well versed I am with Christianity - and many of its flavors/styles of worship/belief.
What I asked from you was to examine your behavior to these people - REGARDLESS of what was posted (and really, a cartoon about a fly getting slapped by Jesus was that offensive?). I saw what post you originally referred to, and you are the one who came out swinging at @unsettlingstories by calling them anti-Christian or christianphobe or whatever term you used.
You cannot police the internet, dear, and doing so will only lead to you giving yourself an ulcer and aneurism trying. You can only control your own reactions to others. In this case, I suggest stepping away, cooling off, and not reengaging people who don’t believe what you do if it makes you this upset to see other beliefs/humor/lifestyles in action.
I’ve only responded twice to this fray and have not insulted you, your religion, or stooped to cursing anyone out.
