When The Two Of You Share Your First Kiss ~ Astro Reaction
MJ:
Your eyes lit up as Myungjun walked into your apartment, after a couple of months on the road. His hands grabbed onto your hips straight away, pressing a kiss to your lips without even saying a word to you.
“I’m so glad your home,” you whispered to Myungjun as soon as your lips separated.
His head nodded in agreement with you, “I had no idea that I’d miss you as much as I did Y/N, I hated being away from you.”
“I can tell,” you laughed softly across at him, “is that perhaps why you decided to kiss me before even walking through the door?”
“I’ve been thinking about our first kiss for most of the tour,” he admitted, “I just wanted to let you know how I feel about you.”
“I’m glad that you finally kissed me.”
A chuckle came from Myungjun as he pulled you closer to him once again, “two months is too long to be away from you Y/N.”
“You’re here now,” you reminded him, “why don’t you stay the night? We’ve got two months to catch up on, right?”
“If I stay the night, do I get to catch up on those lost kisses too?”
“Absolutely, that’s the best part of the night.”
JinJin:
As soon as you turned away from Jinwoo, his hand reached out and wrapped around your wrist. He quickly pulled you back as you went to walk away, pressing a kiss against your lips before you could protest.
“What are you doing?” You asked him as he pulled away, still annoyed about what had happened.
Jinwoo smiled weakly across at you, “I don’t want for the two of us to fight Y/N,” he told you, “we’ve never argued like that before.”
“Why were you scared?” You asked him in surprise, knowing that arguments were human, knowing you’d sort things out together.
“I don’t know, I thought arguing with you would make you think that maybe you didn’t want to be with me,” he confessed.
“Are you out of your mind Jinwoo?”
His shoulders shrugged, surprised to see a smile on your face. “I wanted to kiss you to say sorry, and make sure that you didn’t leave.”
“I can’t go anywhere now that you’ve kissed me,” you joked, “were you really that concerned that I’d go and leave?”
“It’s something that I definitely don’t want to think that you’d do.”
“I would never just walk away like that Jinwoo.”
Cha Eunwoo:
Your eyes closed as Dongmin came towards you, pressing a gentle kiss against your lips. Your hands were on his arm, kissing him back for as long as you needed to before the director finally yelled out cut.
“Why didn’t you tell me that you were such a good kisser?” You joked once the cameras stopped.
Dongmin smiled shyly back across at you, “I’m a good actor,” he innocently smiled, “although that wasn’t quite how I wanted it to be.”
“How come?” You asked, feeling as if the two of you had executed the kiss between your characters as well as you possibly could.
“I thought that maybe our first kiss could be in a bit of a nicer setting,” Dongmin admitted, taking you by surprise.
“But we’re actors, remember?”
His head nodded back at you, “but when we’re not filming, we’re getting on really well, we both feel like there’s something there Y/N.”
“How about we call that our professional first kiss?” You suggested, “we won’t class that as our actual first kiss.”
“I like the sound of that, I want to kiss you properly next time.”
“Next time? But that kiss will be our first.”
Moonbin:
His smile was soft as you looked up at Moonbin, apologising for getting teary eyed in front of him. His head shook, taking a step forward and pressing a kiss to your lips, letting you know you didn’t need to say sorry.
“You don’t need to feel as if you should cheer me up,” you told Moonbin as he stepped back.
His head shook as he saw how much you were fretting. “I didn’t kiss you to make you smile, I did it because I wanted to kiss you Y/N.”
“Really?” You shyly asked Moonbin, feeling both of his hands press against your cheeks, wiping underneath your eyes for you.
“I don’t want to see you upset, knowing that you felt ready to confide in me meant a lot,” he admitted to you.
“I just trust you, Moon.”
The corners of his mouth turned up even higher, “I trust in you too, that’s why I kissed you, because I feel something special with you Y/N.”
“I agree,” you mused, finally allowing yourself to smile again, “there’s something special about you, and about us too.”
“Does that mean you won’t mind if I kiss you again to see that smile?”
“I definitely wouldn’t mind if you did that.”
Rocky:
Neither of you quite knew what to do as silence descended upon the two of you. As your eyes went to look away, a hand came under your chin, with Minhyuk pulling your head up and pressing a kiss to your lips.
“What was that for?” You whispered as soon as you felt his lips come away from yours.
A shrug of the shoulders followed from Minhyuk, a shy giggle coming from him. “You were getting shy; I didn’t want you to get nervous.”
“So, you kissed me?” You giggled, struggling to understand what had just happened. “If you were trying to make me shier, you did it.”
“I just wanted to do it just because,” Minhyuk smirked, “you’re too adorable, I just couldn’t wait any longer to do it.”
“I’m glad you did it.”
Minhyuk’s eyes lit up as you spoke, “really?” He giggled, “I was a little worried that maybe you’d feel like it was too soon for the two of us.”
“No way,” you chuckled, finally meeting Minhyuk’s eyes again, “even though you’ve just made my heart race like never before.”
“At least that means that you enjoyed our first kiss though, right?”
“I definitely enjoyed it, don’t worry about that.”
Sanha:
His eyes went wide as Sanha noticed you walking towards him backstage of the arena that they were performing at. His heart raced as he saw you, taking a hold of your hand straight away and pressing a kiss to your lips.
“That was quite the hello,” you teased when Sanha pulled away a few moments later.
The smile on his face was still wide as Sanha looked down at you, “what are you doing here? You flew all this way without telling me?”
“It wouldn’t have been much of a surprise if I told you that I was coming to see you on tour,” you laughed, tapping against his chest.
“You’re the best,” Sanha whispered, pecking gently against your lips again. “Just when I thought you couldn’t do more.”
“You were surprised then?”
His head nodded in reply to you straight away, “I wish that you were able to see the butterflies in my stomach right now, there’s thousands Y/N.”
“I think the fact that you just kissed me might have let me know how surprised you are too,” you whispered, teasing Sanha.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know what else to do, you just made me so excited.”
“Don’t apologise, I’m glad that you did it Sanha.”

He is a real person. He was alive and now he’s not.
And it’s unfortunately easy to reconcile that in my head. Because I’ve known people - too many - who have also committed suicide. I personally knew 3 people to take their own lives before I was even 15. Each one of them fucked me up in ways I still haven’t recovered from. At 16, a really good friend of mine’s mother killed herself. Her memory haunts me. In community college, the friend of a friend; in university, a classmate who was around during a pivotal part of my life. Again and again and again, I’ve lost people I’ve cared about. It never stops. The pain doesn’t go away. I’ve been suicidal. Fuck, just a few weeks ago was another downswing that had me the closest I’ve ever been to contemplating the logistics of how I could do it. I understand the mechanics of wanting to die. I understand how some people can be driven to it. I try to tell myself that I never would, but I don’t make promises if I can’t keep them. But I’m angry. So fucking angry. And heartbroken. Because it just keeps happening. And I wonder if mental illness was talked about more, if treatment wasn’t so stigmatized, if it wasn’t so expensive or if people weren’t so obsessed with hiding how they feel just to be conceived as perfect, if it would make a difference. I know myself enough to know that antidepressants saved my life. They actively save my life. I will be on them until the day I die. And it took years - literal years - of trying medications and doses and feeling sick and feeling sick and feeling sick and feeling worse before I found something that worked. It took a toll on my friendships, my relationship at the time, my relationship with my family. I lost so much. But I gained life. At least an extension of it. And that’s living here, in America. With all her flaws. It’s having people in my life I have learned to open up to so that I don’t disappear into the sadness. I won’t criticize another country when I have not experienced the culture, and not when I live in the very problematic USA. But the lack of mental health care. It’s still health care. Health. Mental illness is an illness. The brain is an organ and it is sick. It doesn’t work right. Therapy can help. Medication can help. Why is that such a hard concept? Why is it so impossible for these idols who give and give and give so, so much of themselves to get the care they need in return? No one should have to suffer like that. Not the friends I’ve had who have died. Not the people I maybe didn’t know the best, but whose sudden absence was known and felt. I mourned for them. I still mourn for them. When August comes, I face their ghosts, the old fear that one of my siblings would join them, maybe my mother, maybe my cousin, maybe someone else I’m not expecting. It’s so tiring to by constantly vigilant. I can’t watch TV shows about suicide without being triggered. I can’t read about it in books. So much of my life is spent in avoidance.
But I can’t avoid this. I can’t avoid Moonbin. He is a person. He has family and friends and people who love him and will think about him every day for the rest of their lives. They will miss him. They will mourn. They will grieve. They will grieve. The magnitude of that is sickening. Is heartbreaking. It hurts me in a way I can’t even put words to. It’s not enough to say he will be missed, to send thoughts and prayers. He is gone because people failed him. The healthcare system failed him. His company failed him. The industry failed him. People in positions of power have a responsibility to care for the people under them and he did not get the care he needed. I’m heart-heavy and burdened. And I will mourn. I will grieve. But I will also be angry. I will be livid. I will not forget him, just like I have not forgotten the rest of those in my life. I didn’t know him, not really, no fans did. But to love someone is not to know them. It is simply to cherish their existence. So I will cherish him. Because he is a person who was alive and now is not. He deserves respect and dignity. His friends and family deserve respect and dignity.
Moonbin will be missed. But he will also be incredibly, incredibly loved.

I Saw You In The Stars: A Tribute to Moonbin
TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF DEATH, RELIVING SAD/ TRAGIC EVENTS
A/N: This is so hard for me to write a year later and I still don't think I’ve fully processed him being gone. This is my way of grieving and honoring bin. Remember everyone grieves differently DO NOT invalidate Arohra’s who are still grieving. Also DO NOT speak ill on moonbin it’s very disrespectful to speak ill on the dead.
POV: April 19, 2023
HEADLINE: ASTRO MEMBER MOONBIN SUDDENLY PASSES AWAY
“WHAT NO WAY THIS CAN'T BE TRUE!”  Aroha stares at their phone in distress and disbelief. They had just gotten out of history class completing a fairly easy test. They leave the classroom rushing to the bathroom to fully process. “My eyes are deceiving me there’s no way he’s gone he can’t be”
Aroha stares at their phone in disbelief. Tears flow down your face, frozen in shock. “No no no please God no!.”  It was true that Aroha's beloved Moonbin was gone. In the wake of this nightmare, the rumors started suddenly, the man known for his skills in both dance and vocals now has become a poster boy for idol’s deaths. Many sites post fake news, others speaking ill of his name. It was rough everyone. His family, friends in and outside the industry, bandmates, and fans alike. For some, it was their first time losing someone they admired, and for others, it wasn’t. For Aroha, It felt like a nightmare that would never end. A perpetual cycle of sadness and grief.
3 months later…….
After a long day at uni, Aroha comes home completely exasperated.  Throwing their body flat on the bed of relief and comfort. Sprawled across it completely drained of energy. Quickly falling a slumber. Sleeping so hard that not even a lion's loud roar could wake them. As they slept they dreamed of an experience they could never forget.
THE DREAM……
Aroha wakes up from a bed of clouds, confused and slightly frightened; they are greeted with a familiar warm face. “Hello Aroha, how are you feeling? Bin said with his glowing smile that could light the Heavens and earth. Aroha stared in shock as tears welled and flowed down their face like a waterfall. Bin pulls Aroha into a hug, tightly and caring, comforting their aching heart.  Aroha is completely unraveling in his arms trying to form words that won’t come out. “Don’t worry about trying to speak Aroha, just let it out. I know this is a shock for you.” Bin says kissing them platonically on their head.
Once Aroha could gather themself calming down a bit they pulled from Bin’s embraces, tracing his face in utter disbelief still. “You have no idea how much I missed you. '' They managed to get out their voice wavering. Bin wipes their tears, smiling warmly as tears form in his eyes. Looking into Aroha’s eyes thoughtfully. “I’m sorry I left so soon I know it was hard on you. I wasn't ready to let you go so quickly.” Bin let his head fall as he couldn’t stand to see Aroha in so much heartache and pain. He searched for the words to say how he could comfort beautiful Aroha. Barely able to utter even a syllable, Bin speaks softly “You have to be strong okay, don’t mourn me too long. I want you to be happy. Promise me Aroha you’ll be strong, eat well, and take care of the members.’’ with a trembling smile Aroha says with their hand over their heart as if they were pledging  ‘’ I promise Binnie I'll try to smile again and stop weeping. Only thinking happy thoughts and the happy moments we shared. I promise to never stop supporting Astro. I’ll be there to cheer them on. I’ll look into the stars and pray your soul is resting in the hand of God, and thank him for your presence gracing the earth. I’ll never forget you bin bin. I promise!’’ Aroha finishes with a bright smile. Feeling somewhat better, getting it all out was healing in a way Aroha never expected but they were grateful. Bin puts his hand out sticking his pinky finger out and Aroha does the same; they lock their pinkies and touch thumbs, sealing the promise they made. They hugged one more time before Bin had to leave. Aroha saw bin off hugging him tightly saying their last goodbyes and I love yous. As Bin walked away he vanished slowly into thin air.
Aroha wakes from their slumber, slowly raising their head with tears still falling from their eyes. Their pillow was soaked slightly embarrassed by how much they sobbed. There was a sense of relief and ease. The feeling was hard to explain, everything just felt light. It was comforting in a way that made them feel like they were on cloud nine, it was blissful in a sense. Now every time Aroha looks in the stars for Bin they know he's at peace.
Bin Bin I see you in the stars, I love you so much thank you for everything.

It’s been 8 days almost 9 since I’ve known about moonbin s passing and my chest still aches. I never knew him irl but you can still feel that somethings off, the world just doesn’t spin the same. It feels off kilter. I want so badly to violently grieve, I want to throw things and scream but then I think who am I to feel this way. What is my measly 2 years of love doing in room full of people who birthed and built you. And I know I shouldn’t discredit myself and grief isn’t a competition but fuck bin I miss you so much. I’ve never felt like a piece of me was just gone over night. I wish so badly someone could’ve done something, could’ve stepped in, could’ve advocated for you more when you needed. I hate that I understand you decision so well and I hate that I can’t be mad at you especially cause I want to. I want to hit you awake and yell at you that this isn’t funny or fair and then hold you for as long as you’ll let me. I wish I could hug you tight enough to squeeze the pieces back together and I really fucking hate that I can’t. I want to destroy things and I don’t want to get out of bed unless it’s to look up at you sitting pretty and bright in the sky just under the moon. I can’t believe you made me a “let’s look at the moon” girly. I love you so much and I wish I could’ve said it more when you were here, I wish we all had said it more when you were still here. And I’m sorry bin for failing you or feeling like I failed you. I hope you can hear my screams into the void, I hope you’re listening to me scream I love you. It still feels so insane to me.

Chapter 1: Our Ticket To Happiness || IFILWYOAT
Series Masterlist
K-Pop Masterlist
Word Count: 7.1k
Also: yes, there’s not really any S.Coups in this part yet… YET. I’m sorry about that… whenever I write something, I feel like I have to come up with a big background story, I hope you understand. But there will be more of him in the next one, I promise!
Tumblr media
Yerim opened the door to the café, the bell on it letting the staff know about the new guest's arrival. Her eyes scanned the open room quickly, finding the waving hand of Seungkwan quickly. The smile on her lips grew wider, greeting him in the same way as she approached the group with quick steps. Suji and Moonbin had turned around at Seungkwan's sudden reaction and came to sight with the happy girl walking up to their table.
The only other girl of the group wabbled towards her, engulfing her in a big hug, "Hiiiii," she screeched, tightening her grip as she sighed, "I missed you so much, Yerim."
She squeezed her tightly back, nuzzling her face into her shoulder, "I missed you too, Sujiiii."
After separating, Moonbin was already waiting to be next for a hug, wrapping his strong arms around the smaller girl, "Good to see you again." She nodded with a bright smile, fixing her hair before letting herself fall into the comfort of Seungkwan's soft hug.
"Where's Sunhi?" His cheery voice let the girl feel immediately better, forgetting about her dishevelled leader back in their apartment. She took a seat in the free chair next to the other female in front of the Seventeen member.
"Working," she simply stated, confusing the main vocalist.
"Still? I thought she quit..."
Yerim shook her head with a sad smile, "Nope... I mean, she did quit- but she got a new job right after that."
Seungkwan nodded, while Astro's main dancer scrunched his eyebrows, "Haven't you signed with a new company yet?" Again, a sad headshake from the girl,
"I'm not... too involved in the whole process, but Y/N wasn't very happy when I left today..."
Yerim never told anyone much about what was happening within the group and the stress and depressive episodes they had gone through. For one, she didn't want many people to be involved in this personal manner, and second, she herself didn't know a lot about what you had been doing ever since the company had dropped you. She knew that you had been writing emails and sending out a self-written contract, but she had no idea about how much of a toll it had started taking on you, nor did she know about how many negative replies you had already received. The '98s knew just enough, to understand the current situation. They understood when Yerim and Sunhi distanced themselves from the group, concentrating on keeping the group above water. They kept on texting them encouraging messages, not pushing them to talk or tell them anything. Because... as much as they wanted to help... they knew there wasn't much that they could do.
"She doesn't talk about it much," the girl continued explaining, "Only Haru really knows what exactly is going...," looking down, she tried to push aside the sad undertone her voice held.
"Y/N probably just doesn't want you to worry as well, you know?" Suji comforted her, placing a hand on her back, rubbing circles.
"I know, I know... but...," she looked up, "She-she... she keeps everything inside of her instead of properly talking about it. She should know that we can be there for her and for this."
"I feel like leaders have this mindset of having to be able to manage everything and have everything under control. On their own," Seungkwan elaborated, using his hands a lot. The others at the table nodded understandingly, thinking about their own leaders.
"Yeah, but it's wrong," Sunhi whined, leaning back in the chair, playing with the napkin on the table, "I'm scared that she's gonna drown because of that at some point. She doesn't even leave the house anymore unless it's for work."
"Doesn't she have friends outside of the group?" Moonbin wondered, to which the girl shook her head while thinking out loud,
"... not many, to be honest... she never talked much to others. The company didn't allow it. We only got to know you guys because we were in the same class," pointing between herself and the main dancer.
"Typical leader," Seventeen's main vocalist scuffed, taking a sip from his iced Americano, "Do you know how long it took for S.Coups to talk about his struggles? Leaders are always so... stupid..." Making the table chuckle.
Suji leaned forward, "Maybe you should do, like a... leader intervention."
"A leader intervention?" Seungkwan repeated her last words in question while the others laughed, painting the picture of the scene in their head.
"Y/N has Jin's number, I don't know why they never got closer," the Astro member admitted, making Amour's lead vocalist look at him confused.
"She has Jinwoo's number??"
He nodded, "I'm pretty sure he told me that they exchanged numbers the last time they met backstage."
"What about S.Coups?" the former Uni.T member nagged, but Seungkwan was quick to shake his head, "They've never really met. I think they only said like 'hi' while passing by. If even..."
The entire group sighed, leaning back, thinking about the possibilities of helping Yerim. She was a friend. Of course, they would try to help. But how...
- The Next Day -
After an energy-draining day at the kid's café, you had been working at for the past months, you got back to a loud apartment filled with laughter and screeches coming from the kitchen. You loved the job you had gotten. You truly did. You were extremely thankful to the kind women that had given you the possibility of training for a rough two months and employing you right after. But all the love could not replace the exhaustion that washed over your body after each day. It could also not replace the fire that was still burning inside of you. The fire, that would make you continue fighting for your dream to get your name back out there.
You placed your bag on the floor, hung your jacket on the racket, and took off your shoes before making your way to where the loud music was playing. As soon as you rounded the corner your lips curved to a smile at the sight.
Your four members, crammed up in the small kitchen, laughing together, slapping each other to get out of the way as they worked together, music blasting through the rooms. Yerim's head turned, finding you smiling at the group, her eyes lit up, "Y/N's HOME!" She shouted, running up to you with quick steps, her hands up in the air, covered with flour. The '98 Liner threw herself at you, making you stumble back slightly while your hands wrapped around her, laughing at the action.
The other girls' eyes found your embraced bodies and hastily rushed up, excited sounds leaving their mouths, hugging you from all sides, greeting you with a group hug. You couldn't help but to laugh out loud and weren't able to stop. Some dirty pair of hands hit you in the face, smearing whatever was on them onto your cheeks.
"What the hell is going on?" You exclaimed happily, wondering where all the cheery energy was coming from.
"We have news!" The youngest, Minyeong, jumped up and down, holding onto your hand. "Exciting news!" Sunhi added, making you get nosy.
You were about to ask more questions, when you suddenly felt the hands of Haru on your shoulders, pushing you towards the kitchen, "But, we have to finish making dinner first."
"I didn't even know you guys use this kitchen for proper cooking anymore," you admitted, pulling your sleeves up, the smile on your lips never leaving your face.
"For today, we do." Haru sent you a kind look before showing you what they had started making and what your job would now be.
A good hour later, the sun had already gone down completely, the dinner table was fully set out with main dishes, side dishes, drinks, cups, and plates as well as the fitting cutlery. All five of you had gotten seated. Your group members had pushed you to sit at the head of the table, all excitedly waiting to tell you about the news. Once everyone was sitting down, you spoke up,
"How about you let me know what all of this is about before we get to eating?" You smiled at the girls. The maknae looked at her older sisters, waiting for someone to answer when the '97 Liner took the initiate,
"I think Sunny should be the one to tell you," she turned to the younger girl, who was already waiting with big eyes. You kept your awaiting gaze on her while the others smiled and nodded, encouraging her to let it out.
"You should maybe start though," Sunhi asked Haru to begin, explaining the situation before she could deliver the hopefully good news. The dancer nodded,
"Ok...," and took a deep breath, "I told them," she looked at you, "I told them everything-," just as she noticed you were about to interfere, she stopped you with an extended arm, "They had to know. You have to stop keeping all of that shit to yourself. We can help too. Alright? I told them yesterday when you went to bed... and then... Sunhi here," she patted the younger girl's back, "had some news." She nudged the younger girl to continue the speech.
"Well...," she started, "Send the contract to Pledis!" With a bright smile on her lips, her eyes sparkled in your direction while you closed your eyes and sighed, looking down at the empty plate in front of you.
"Sunhi... I already told Haru, we have to stay realistic. Pledis is a HUGE company right now-," you tried explaining, but she didn't let you finish.
"It is realistic, trust me!" Sunny argued.
"No, it's not. Did you look at their-"
"Yes, it is, Seungkwan told me!" You looked at her confused, hoping she would elaborate on what she just said, which she did, "Yesterday when I met up with them, he told me that the Pledis CEO was a big fan of our concepts. He wanted Seventeen to do something similar."
"Sunny..." Your head dropped once again, shaking it sadly.
"Just try it," Yerim interrupted you, "Send the contract. What's the worst that could happen?"
Your eyes found hers, trying to make her understand through your gaze, but eventually decided to use words, "I don't want to embarrass us. Too many things have happened, and the last thing I want is for us to become a joke to every label in the industry..."
Before anyone took the next word, you felt Haru's hand on your thigh, your eyes falling to the back of it, watching her fingers moving slightly. "If we become a joke to the entire industry, at least we'll become one together. And we'll get to make people laugh," she smiled at you sympathetically, getting a round of chuckles from everyone at the table. You put your hand on top of hers, intertwining your fingers to find some form of comfort. The two of you shared a comfortable look at each other. With a deep breath, you could feel your heart pumping at the possibility to put an end to your misery.
You nodded with a smile on your lips, "I'll send it after dinner, alright?"
Your girls jumped up from their chairs, hands in the air as excited shouts echoed through the room, making you laugh. Haru' arms immediately wrapped around your neck, followed by Minjeong, Yerim, and Sunhi.
-
You were able to convince your members to go to sleep first, letting you shower and get bed-ready last, taking all the time you needed. With freshly washed hair, and your pyjamas on, you threw yourself onto the couch, laptop in your lap. Your fingers glided over the touchpad, clicking on the internet icon. Only two more clicks lead you to your email address's inbox. The 28-page long contract was in five drafts you had saved, ready to get sent out to the labels. You opened one draft, correcting the text you had already written to fit Pledis Entertainment and changed the recipient's address. After one last check over the sentences and the appendix, your finger hovered over the mousepad, the mouse on the 'Send' button. You could feel your heartbeat quicken and your finger starting to shake. Even with the encouraging words from the girls, doubt and worry were still consuming your body, making you feel slightly sick. You hadn't sent a big company your contract yet. This would be the first... and, most probably, the last. But with only one click, your entire future was about to change.
-
Just as you were about to grab your keys and leave the dorm early in the morning to go to work, the bedroom door you had closed in hopes of letting the 2 members that were left sleep some more, opened and a hyper Minjeong came sprinting at you.
"Did they answer yet?!" You jumped at her loud voice echoing through the hallway and looked at her wide-eyed.
"What?"
"Did you receive an answer yet?" She placed her hands on top of the high cabinet, leaning forward as her eyes never left your gaze. Her excitement made you chuckle and shake your head as you put the bundle of keys inside your bag, ready to leave.
"Minjeong, I sent it late yesterday. They're not going to answer me overnight," with a soft laugh, you tried to explain it to the youngest of the group. The girl you had seen growing ever since she was a young teen.
"But did you check? How do you know?" She kept on nagging, but you had already opened the door and were taking slow steps outside.
You smiled, "I'm gonna look at my emails later, okay? I have to go to work now." And left after getting a small nod and wave from the Maknae.
While you were making your way downstairs into the foyer and then outside to the bus stop, you couldn't help but let your lips curve on their own. It was cute seeing one of your members so excited for something - it has been months since they had actually jumped from excitement or even just smiled as bright as they did last night. You knew you couldn't keep that positive mindset for long, and you had to prepare them for a possible, and most likely, turn-down from the company. During the dinner, you had tried explaining it to them, but with no luck. The girls' joy for a possible new start took over and let them forget all the bad from the past. Sometimes you hated always seeing the realistic side of things instead of the side you'd want to see. The dreamy side. The wishful side. The 'But it COULD be' side. But somebody had to be that person.
Your workday started slow, with only a few parents dropping their kids off. It was a good morning with familiar faces and rooms filled with laughter from the children. During your lunch break, you managed to find a quiet spot in the café and leaned back to catch a breath when somebody approached you.
"Oh, you're back? Already?!" You sat up straighter, happy to see Seoyeon, who had left the café only four months after you started because she was a soon-to-be mother. Even though you had only known her for a short time, the two of you got close thanks to her being the employee that had shown you around in the beginning and taught you most of what you now knew.
"No," she chuckled, "I'm only here to visit," and pointed to a man a few feet away, holding a baby - her husband and daughter most likely. You leaned to the side, catching a glance of the man who used the babies arm to wave at the two of you - the gesture made you smile. "But I saw you, and..." she sat down, looking at you with a kind expression on her face, "What the hell are you still doing here?"
"You're not even working here anymore, and you want to get rid of me?" Your comment made both of you laugh out loud. At least you were still able to joke around.
"No, please," she calmed herself down, "You know I always thought you were great for here. You're great with kids. I told you that almost every day when you were beginning here." The memory from a few months ago made you smile. "I just hoped that after I went... it wouldn't take long until you'd get back to what you're supposed to be doing..." You could see the pity in her eyes and looked away, trying not to gaze at the dark brown eyes that were staring at you, filled with empathy. There were not a lot of people that knew about you and the girls... Seoyeon was one of the few ones that did, though. She recognized you right from the beginning. She had heard what had happened to your group and was open to giving you the chance to have a normal work life. But she never wanted you to continue it for longer than necessary, and she truly hoped the next time she would see you would be on a poster or on TV.
You took a deep breath, "I didn't think it would take that long either..."
"What's going on?" You didn't know whether you liked or hated the kind smile that wasn't leaving her lips.
Since you didn't want to plague your members with the problem of finding a new label but wanted them to "enjoy" their life right now as much as possible, Seoyeon was one of the few people, you felt open enough to talk to about it.
"It's so much harder," looking up, your eyes found hers quickly, "So much..." Instead of interrupting you with more questions, she let you think for a bit, knowing you'd continue talking on your own, "Not a single company accepted my contract. Most of them didn't even reply... I honestly don't know how much more of this shit I can take..."
"Don't say that," she softly warned you.
"But it's the truth," you argued, "If not even the smallest labels want us?" A heavy sigh left your lips, "Last night, I sent the contract to Pledis-"
"That's a good idea!"
But you shook your head, "It was Sunhi's idea, but... I tried to explain it to her," you changed your position, placing both hands on the table, "We can't expect big companies like JYP, HYBE, or even Pledis to even know who we are."
Seoyeon frowned, "Well... I mean... not every citizen might know you, but... after what happened," stopping after every few words, trying to get her message to you as softly as possible, "I'm sure every music company knows who you are." If those words came from the mouth of another person but her, you most definitely would've punched them... even though it was the truth.
"Thanks, that's assuring," you sarcastically smiled at her, making her chuckle with a sad undertone.
"But that doesn't mean that none of them would give you a second chance, Y/N." She reached out for your hands and caught them in her warm grasp, "You can't lose your faith. You can't lose hope. Especially if it's all that is left. You have to hold onto it until you no longer have to."
"Or until I no longer can."
"No," the woman was quick to shake her head, "You always can. You're such a strong person. Don't let stupid companies that don't even know what they're missing out on put you down like that, okay? Something will come. Something will help you. You just have to wait."
You copied the smile on her lips as your eyes started watering, "But for how much longer?" She was only able to squeeze your hands as an answer.
-
The extra money you had made from staying longer than usual was spent only ten minutes later in the nearest grocery store, where you bought a few necessities that you had noticed were missing in the apartment. That explains why it was quieter than usual once you came back. With one quick look at the clock, you also found it to already be 10 pm - you took an extra-long route and didn't even use the bus, but went by foot to enjoy the sunset and late-night breeze.
After taking everything off, you grabbed the two bags filled with groceries and started carrying them into the kitchen when a figure at the dinner table made you stop in your tracks,
"Oh jeez," you jumped, "You scared me."
"Sorry," Yerim chuckled.
"I didn't expect anyone to be here. Where are the others?" You continued your journey and placed the bags on top of the counter.
"Minjeong's out, but she should be back any minute now, and Sunhi and Haru went to bed," she explained, and you nodded. The second-oldest and second-youngest usually went to bed at an earlier hour as they were the ones to leave the apartment at the crack of dawn, or even before the sun had risen.
"I see, I see," you murmured under your breath, putting everything you bought into the right place when your eyes drifted to the table. "What are you doing?" You wondered, walking up to the younger girl and gazing over her shoulder.
"I found some of our old stuff under the bed today," she chuckled, "Look," and handed you one of the first polaroid pictures the five of you had ever taken. It was only a few days after you had debuted, but you had already grown incredibly close thanks to your years as trainees.
With a sad smile, you placed it back on the table.
"I thought I put that into my diary back then," you reminisced, watching Yerim's fingers graze over the other photos that were taken throughout your career.
"I think we took multiples that day. You were OBSESSED with journaling everything. From beginning to end, you wrote down everything we did." Yerim laughed, remembering you sitting on the bed with that little notebook in your hand as you told the paper what had happened on that day.
"Yeah," you chuckled, "I didn't want to forget the good memories." As you were speaking, your eyes found the last polaroid picture you guys had ever taken. The day you moved into the apartment that you were currently housing in. After what had happened, you totally forgot about your camera and about making memories. From then on, you were focused on making plans for the future. Plans for how the hell are you going to get out of this. You were still making those plans if you had to be completely honest with yourself.
"I really like that picture," Yerim commented sweetly pointing at the photo that had caught your eye.
You nodded, "We didn't realise what was gonna happen at that point. We were happy."
"We still are," the girl raised her head and turned to the side to catch your glance, "We're still happy Y/N."
You sent her a quick and wide smile, placing your comforting hands on her shoulder, "I know." With one last kiss on her head, you got back to unloading the groceries.
Two hours later, you all were showered and ready for bed. Your members had already put their heads on their pillow while you were sitting at the dining table. Yerim left all your memories on the table, promising to clean it up the next day, which made you chuckle, knowing that there was no way she would be cleaning it up. But you were thankful that she did. The pictures reminded you of the diary that you had neglected a long time ago. You found it in the closet, behind your multiple sweatshirts, where you remembered you had hidden it, right after moving in. As often as the girls had seen you write in it, none of them had ever read it. No one has ever read it, and no one would ever get to read it. It was your own little slice of happiness that was only for you to see.
Sitting down, you held onto the rough edges of the notebook and opened it, finding a few pages torn from the moving around.
The first page started with your first day of becoming a trainee. Your mother had suggested that you started writing down your journey, in case you would ever want to look back on the "good" old days - and you were glad that you did. Skipping through the pages, you chuckled at some of the entries that mentioned funny things the members did or said on the specific days, and smiled sadly at the polaroid pictures, newspaper cut out, etc. that decorated each page. Over the years, you had gotten a lot better at journaling. Thank god you did because now it was actually nice to look at.
The last page was what made you tear up a little bit. The day your company confessed. The day you found out what had been happening for years. And the day that got you to where you are now.
No pictures, no cute post its, no dried flowers or cute drawings. Nothing. Just a blank page with the sentence:
"And that was it."
Even at that point, you knew that it would probably be the last day in the limelight, and you never had the intention of going back and continuing writing in that diary. It was supposed to be for your time as a trainee and idol. And that time was over. But on that evening, the pen next to you, the blank pages of the notebook, and the pictures in front of you looked too tempting. You turned around to find a glue stick in one of the kitchen drawers. With no luck, though. What you did find was clear tape.
"That'll do," you whispered to yourself before sitting back down again, collecting the two photos you were eyeing earlier. You ripped off a piece of tape and curled it up, creating somewhat of a double-sided tape piece. Repeating that, you were able to glue the polaroids onto the empty pages. Right next to them, with the pen in your hand, you started writing the first thing that came to your mind:
"I don't know what I'm doing. Am I even doing the right thing anymore? Did I already mess up the possibility of getting our careers back?"
You continued scribbling down the events from the past few months, not leaving out any detail, quoting certain emails you had remembered, and without noticing, an entire hour had passed, and six pages were filled with your handwriting. What started out as journaling, had turned into a whole therapy session with paper... But finally, you were able to get everything off your chest.
-
Friday was your day off. For some reason, parents don't visit the café on that day too much, and your boss would let you rest at home. On Saturdays, and usually also Sundays, you'd be back looking after kids again, though. Minjeong decided to call in sick to focus on her uni application that she would send out that weekend. After a long conversation with her mother over the phone, she got forced to find a degree she was interested in since her parents were starting to doubt the future of their daughter as an idol. It hurt you. It truly did. Because you used their trust. Her parents had put their trust in you for getting the group back on track. And you had failed them. Hard. Now you had to watch the Maknae desperately trying to solve some type of mathematical function to prove her intelligence to that governmental education facility.
You were sitting on the couch, looking down at your phone while Minjeong was pulling her hair, breathing heavily.
"You know what?" She stood up, "I'm done. I'm just not smart enough." And walked over to you, throwing herself onto the cushions, placing her head in your lap, making you chuckle.
"Don't say that. You are smart," you patted the top of her hair, "Universities are just want to make you feel dumb."
The young girl sighed, "Well, they're succeeding-" As she kept on rambling about her application, your finger found the email button on your screen. Clicking in it, it updated your inbox, and you got welcomed with five new messages. You clicked on each one of them to mark them as 'read'. First one, an ad, second one reminder of your course that classes would start again, the third one was the bill for your phone, fourth one, Pledis' answer, and the fifth one, another ad-
Wait, what.
You quickly exited the last email, re-opening the one before that with shaky fingers as your eyes scanned through the text. Hastily, you pushed Minjeong's head off your lap, getting a groan and a curse word in return, and rushed over to the still turned on laptop on the dining table.
"What's up with you?" The Maknae sat up, leaning over the armrest to get a better look at you. You didn't answer and opened a new tab, quickly moving the mouse over to open your Gmail account on the desktop. Still convinced your eyes or mind were deceiving you, you read through the mail once again.
"Dear Miss Lee,
As per the email sent to us: We have read through your contract, and after consideration, we would like to ask for a meeting to discuss further actions. We believe that Amour and Pledis Entertainment could come to a conclusion both parties would agree on.
To avoid too much back and forth messaging: we would like to propose the following Monday, 2pm, to hold a meeting with your group and our CEO and managers.
Please only answer this email if you would like to accept the offer we are proposing.
Yours sincerely,
Pledis Entertainment"
You read through it at least four times before leaning back, covering your mouth and processing the words you had just read.
"Oh my god," the whisper was subdued due to your hands on your lips.
"What?" Minjeong stood up from her comfortable place on the couch and walked over to you, standing behind the chair you were sitting on, leaning over to read the words on the screen.
"Are you reading this too?" You wondered in disbelief, the words only leaving your lips in breaths. The girl behind you was quiet before suddenly shouting and jumping,
"OH MY GOD! Y/N!" Her arms found their way around your neck, pulling you as close as possible. Your hands grasped her lower arms, holding onto them tightly as you tried reading the email once again, but tears started blocking your view.
"Oh- my-," you weren't even able to finish your thought before your throat closed up and made sob. As soon as Minjeong heard the sound of you crying, her grip tightened as a smile formed on her lips, her eyes watering as well.
The sound of your sobs and sniffs were filling the room as the front door opened and a happy Haru entered the apartment. Her smile fell as soon as she saw the two of you at the table.
"Helloo- What happened?" She immediately stopped her cheery introduction, let the bag fall to the floor and took quick steps to the two of you. Before anyone of you could answer, she found the open email on your screen and let the words sink into her brain. With her mouth wide open, she took a step back and looked down at you,
"No fucking way..." You raised your head and found her blurry silhouette in front of you. With quick nods and something that should represent a smile, you answered her.
"YOU DID IT!" Haru shouted, taking a few more steps around the table, not knowing how to react, "YOU FUCKING DID IT, Y/N!"
"You did it!!" Minjeong next to you freed you from her grasp and threw her arms up in the air.
You sniffed and nodded, "We did it," but your sobbing only continued, making both girls engulf you in a tight hug. "We actually did it," you smiled, still not fully believing what was written right in front of you.
"Is that the first assent you got?" The maknae wondered, to which you and the '97 Liner nodded. "Wow..." she breathed out, wiping away the tears on her cheeks that were slowly drying.
After a deep breath, Haru continued with a big smile on her lips, "Have you answered them yet?" You shook your head and patted away the tears that were still falling from your eyes. The younger girl looked at you in shock, "Then what the hell are you waiting for?!"
Wide-eyed, your gaze drifted to her, "Alright, alright!" You defended yourself, "I'm sorry that I'm getting emotional of the first-"
"Stop talking, and start typing," she pushed the laptop closer to you and shut you up, making you chuckle.
After quickly finishing your answer email, you let Haru read through it one last time as she had a clearer mind and view than you, and she hit the 'Send' button without wasting another second.
"Oh my god..." you repeated. Again, only in a whisper, "Did that just actually happen?"
"Yes, it fucking did!" The '97 Liner pushed your shoulders with a proud smile plastered on her face, "You beautiful genius," and grabbed your face to kiss your cheek. "Your amazing contract did this. I'm so proud of you."
You were about to say something, when a different thought struck your mind, "Oh wait, crap- I'm working on Monday."
"I'm sure your boss will give you a day off for this. She loves you," Haru comforted you, strutting to the kitchen to prepare a celebratory dinner.
"What are you doing?" You wondered, hearing her open and close the cabinet doors harshly.
"Making a big ass dinner!" She shouted back, making you giggle.
Minjeong smiled, "We might become idols again, shouldn't we start looking after our bodies?"
"No! Stop that." The girl from the kitchen argued back. She was never a fan of the whole dieting thing. Never was and never will be.
Her answer made you and the Maknae chuckle. You suddenly remembered something, "Oh my god, I can't wait to tell Sunhi!" Jumping up from your seated position, finally realising what was happening.
"She's gonna be so happy!" Minjeong started jumping up and down with you, your hands intertwined, hearts beating fast.
-
And oh, she was.
Haru, Minjeong, and you had a plan: Act cool and casually mention it during dinner. The '98 Liners thought they didn't hear you correctly when the words 'Pledis Entertainment' fell from your lips. Shooting up from their chairs, shouts of excitement filled the room, while the three of you that already knew about the news started laughing out loud. Sunhi was more than just happy and ran to grab her phone to text Seungkwan right after the massive group hug all of your shared. You tried stopping her from spreading the news, just in case the label and you wouldn't settle on an agreement, but that girl had typed faster than you could reach her. You found out that none of the girls would be able to get a day off and decided that you would go into the meeting on your own and let them know about further steps. After a few discussions, you had tried to get your law professor from your uni classes onboard, not wanting to have to sit in a meeting room alone with such important people that held your future in their hands, but he had to decline it due to his own schedule.
So, there you were, on the bus, on your own, on the way to the HYBE building. The girls and you decided on the perfect outfit to wear the night before, leaving you more time in the morning. The members that were still in the dorm with you decided it would be the perfect day to put your polaroid camera back into operation and snapped a quick pic - you reminded yourself to put it into your diary later. BUT, this also meant more time to stress. And more time to overthink every decision you had ever made. That explains why your legs started shaking as you tried to make your way through the crowd, to the exit of the bus once it had reached the stop you had to get out at.
With one quick look at your phone: 1:35 pm, you found yourself to have 25 minutes left before the scheduled meeting, and the building was only five minutes away, according to the directions on the screen in your hands. While you were walking, you tried steading the breaths leaving your mouth when a text interrupted you.
You got this! <3
Sunhi texted you in the group chat, followed by the other members:
Don't be nervous!! You're gonna do great
You better come back with our contracts to sign
Either that or you're sleeping in the hallway. Just kidding, love you!
You chuckled at the texts and only realised once you looked up, that you had reached your destination. Putting the phone back into your bag, you took a deep breath in and out, straightened your oversized blazer and entered the building you would get to call your workplace in the future. If only you already knew that back then, you wouldn't have had to be as nervous as you were.
Your anxiety got the best of you and made you get the 28-page long contract out of your bag as soon as you entered the building. You had to come to a halt when you noticed further doors wouldn't open. Thankfully, a man in a security suit saw you and approached you,
"Anything I can help you with?"
You looked at him wide-eyed, scared that you may have done something wrong before you started stuttering, "I- ehm, yeah, I mean- no- I guess, yes... I...," you took a deep breath, "I'm here because I have a meeting with the Pledis managers."
"Do you have any proof or names that I could associate you with?" He questioned, making sure you weren't an intruder.
"Oh, oh- yeah!" You quickly got your phone out again and hastily opened the Mail app. Oh god... you were wasting way too much time, "Here." You showed him the last email you had received from the company, telling you where and when to meet them, sadly they never said anything about having to go through a security check right at the entrance.
After the guard took a good look at the answer from the label, he asked you to follow him and guided you into the building. You had to show him the content of your bag, get scanned with a metal detector, but were then finally free to go. The big clock on the wall told you, you only had ten minutes left, and you had no idea where to go.
Instead of asking the man that had just made you ten minutes later than you initially would have been, you decided to try and understand the signs on the walls in front of the elevators. You quickly found the floor Pledis was on, and hastily started abusing the button of the elevator, thinking it would come faster, which it, of course, didn't.
Inside, you took a look at the papers in your hand. Your fingers pushed each one aside, flicking through almost all of them when the 'ding' sound let you know, you had reached the right floor. Right after stepping out, you took a quick glance to your right, finding another helpful guide to where each room was and you found the meeting room's number quickly.
Without looking up, you just turned right again and made your way forward, being more focused on making sure that the contract you had printed out months ago that had been lying in your cabinet ever since, was actually complete - not like you hadn't done it the night before at least three times as well.
With your attention on the pages, you couldn't see the person you suddenly collied with, making you drop the contract and a few of the papers that you had put in it loosely falling out. You gasped, immediately crouching down to collect everything when the man in front of you did the same.
"Oh my god, I'm so-"
"I'm really sorr-"
You said at the same time, making you chuckle and look up, almost gasping at who you came to sight with. Without even thinking, you quickly started shaking your head, and multiple 'sorry's fell from your lips,
"I'm so so, so incredibly sorry. I'm sorry-"
"No, no," he interrupted you, doing the same apologising you were doing, "I shouldn't look at my phone while walking. I'm really sorry." He gathered the papers in his hands and was about to hand them back to you when the title stopped him. Both of you stood back up, and you straightened your outfit, which he noticed.
"I'm sorry. It wasn't your fault, I-"
"No, it was. It really was. I'm sorry," he continued and handed you back the stack he was still holding, "A contract? And you're on the way to the meeting rooms... I guess, I shouldn't hold you back any longer and wish you good luck," and gifted you with his famous bright smile, his kind eyes genuinely looking at you.
You took the contract back into your grasp and let your palm graze over your hair, suddenly feeling the need to make yourself feel more presentable, "T-Thank you. Thank you very much," bowing to him before excusing yourself, "I... I should- I should go now..."
"Oh, yes- yes, of course," the man motioned to where he just came from, the smile still glued to his face, "All the best. I'm sure, you'll do great."
"Thank you," after taking this as your goodbye, you started walking straight ahead, closing your eyes immediately for just a second. Not believing, what had happened, you turned around to make yourself sure of the person you had just met, only to find him waiting for an elevator, his head turned, with his gaze fixed on you - which he quickly changed, suddenly finding the metal doors in front of him much more interesting. Snapping yours back, you focused on the hallway in front of you again, taking deep breaths and trying to shake the blush that had crept onto your cheeks.
It wasn't even your first actual day here, and you had already embarrassed yourself in front of the leader of South Korea's third-biggest male idol group - Choi Seungcheol.

Imagine dating Moonbin during the Pandemic.
Tumblr media
Warnings: Just fluff, Moonbin being the cutest boyfriend, mentions of kissing, hugging, cuddling.
Word Count: Less than 1k
Tumblr media
Time had been tough for you and your long-term boyfriend, Moonbin. You both miss each other and crave kisses and hugs. You always love when Moonbin hugs you. He gives you the best hug since he's a lot bigger than you so it feels like you're cuddling a bear.
He’s tall so whenever he hugs you, you feel soft and tiny. Before the pandemic, Moonbin would always come over and hang out with.
He would even take you out on romantic dinner or night strolls. It was always you two, you even bought another drawer so he can keep extra clothes whenever he sleeps over.
“No way you did that?!” Moonbin look at the drawer in awe. You nodded, “do you like it?” You ask. He nodded and came in for a hug.
Moonbin appreciates the little things you do for him. Whenever he has to leave for practice early in the morning, you would make him lunch and snacks. Not only for him but for his friends too.
You both love spending time with one another, but ever since the pandemic hits, no one can leave the house unless you needed to buy groceries.
You and Moonbin haven’t seen each other for a month and a half. It’s been rough for you both. You had a mental breakdown because you missed him so much. Moonkin always calls you every day when he can because he knows you live alone.
“I miss you so much, my little pea” You were on FaceTime with your boyfriend. You almost started crying because of how much you miss him.
“Don’t cry baby” You heard him say. You wipe the tears away. “I won’t, I won’t” you pout.
You lay down on your empty, “is that my hoodie?” He asks. You look down at the blue sweater. You cover your face with the neckline.
“I’m glad you’re keeping warm for me baby” he smiles at his phone.
“Have you been eating?” He asks. He usually has to make sure you’re eating so you don’t get sick. You nodded.
“Of course, I’m eating. You text me every hour to make sure I eat something” you giggle. Moonbin smile, showing his cute smile.
“I miss you, I can’t wait until everything get back to normal” you play with the sleeves.
“When I see you I’m going to hug you and kiss you and never leave your side,” Moonbin says. You laugh, “what about practice?” You ask.
“I’ll take my vacation days” He nodded. You laugh, Moonbin always tries to make you feel better even when things aren’t.
“What are you thinking?” He asks. You shrug, tears drop down from your eyes.
“I can’t sleep without you” your voice cracked. You heard Moonbin sigh.
“You know what I do whenever I can’t sleep?” He asks. You shake your head, “remember when I took that cute picture of you when we were at the beach together? I framed that picture and set it on the bed next to me so I can see my gorgeous girlfriend smiling down at me while I’m sleeping” he says. You smile and sniffle back your tears.
“You did not” You refused to believe. He gasps.
“You don’t believe me? Eunwoo even makes fun of me for doing that. He even takes pictures” Moonbin laughs.
You know Eunwoo is his roommate and they’re stuck quarantining together. You laugh. “Are you talking to y/n?” You heard Eunwoo enter the room.
“Yeah, did you want to say hi?” Moonbin asks. Then, Moonbin move his phone to show Eunwoo who looked tired.
“Hi y/n! How have you been? I missed your food!” Eunwoo smile as he waves at you. You wave back.
“Hi Eunwoo, I hope you’re well and staying safe! I’ll cook for you guys again!” You wave at him. Eunwoo and Moonbin started arguing why he was talking to you like that. “Don’t worry y/n! I’ll cuddle with Moonbin for you” Eunwoo put his thumbs up.
“Thanks, Eunwoo” you laugh. Eunwoo bid you goodbye sooner after. He left to let the two of us talk.
Moonkin lay back down on his bed, just watching you as you watch him in silence. Even though you have both been dating for so long, he still makes your heart flutter.
“I miss the feeling of your skin,” Moonbin said softly. Your eyes dart back to his. “I miss how soft it was. I miss connecting the dots on your back. I miss putting kisses to it before we both fall asleep.”
You stare into his eyes. “I miss your hugs and when you place kisses on my back” You hug yourself, knowing Moonbin couldn’t.
“I can’t wait until we get out of this mess. I’ll take a month's worth of vacation just to be with you baby” The word baby became a little deep.
You chuckle, “maybe a week will be fine. And within that week, we’ll have a lot of cuddling to do, hugs, kisses, and everything in between” you smile. Moonbin agreed.
“Everything in between,” he repeated, he blows you a kiss. The two of you talk until one of you falls asleep. It’s usually you. Moonbin stays up a little later just to watch you sleep.
Two weeks had passed, the lockdown lifted. You and Moonbin finally got to see each other. Taking a lot of precautions the two of you cuddle, exchange kisses every few seconds, a lot of warm hugs, and last but not least, spend time with one another.

Be save everyone!!
What a sight it was. Bin’s hands were tied to bed posts. He was naked. When your hand ran up his inner thigh, he strained against the ropes. The whimper caught in his throat. You ignored it. His thighs were huge. You loved to ride but first you needed to do something else. The spot were his boxer shorts would end was were you wanted to do it. You leaned down and kissed the spot. Bin inhaled sharply. A shiver ran down his body when you sucked on his skin. “No moving or you don’t get to come.” He did not say anything but his head hit the head board with a soft thud. Bin was not the best at being quiet or staying still. Making marks turned him on. You knew this from past experiences and now he looked painfully hard. The head was red and the veins were popping out. You wanted to wrap your lips around him so badly, wanted to hear him moan and whine. Most importantly you wanted to see him come undone. Bin always looked so beautiful, almost glowing after his orgasm. You sucked hard and even bit down on his thigh. It did not relieve your tension. A half moan, half shout came from Bin. When you pulled away a red bruise was forming. It was so hard not just swing your legs over him and fuck yourself with his penis.
It’s not time yet. There were still more marks to leave and teasing to do, or it would not be a punishment. You moved to the other thigh. Licking and sucking on the soft skin. “Nuna” His voice cracked. “Please.” You did not think you would be able to leave as many marks as you planned. The plea had gone straight between your legs. You wanted some friction on your clit and something in you so bad. You bit down one last time before letting go. Bin’s face was flushed and a thin layer of sweat covered his body. “Look at you, so big and strong.” You ran your hands over his hard thighs and he swallowed audibly. You swung a leg over his and straddled his thigh. “If you’re a good boy now, I will forgive you.” He nodded breathing heavy. You began rocking you hips, dragging your clit over the soft skin. “Flex for me.” He obliged and his thigh got harder under you. You moaned, knowing it would drive Bin mad. The hard muscles beneath you turned you on so much. You closed your eyes and concentrated on the feeling between your legs. The friction was perfect, now the only thing missing was something in you. The urge was overwhelming. You opened your eyes. Bin looked at you biting his lips so as to not make a sound. His hair stuck to his sweaty forehead. You stood up and Bin whimpered in the back of his throat. Without saying anything you left the room. It was the hardest thing you had done. Your legs were jelly but you covered it up by walking slowly. The bathroom was one of the places where you stored condoms. You took one out of the package, took a deep breath and went back to the bed room. “Have you been a good boy while I was away?” Bin nodded. “Good.” He saw the package in your hand and relaxed a bit. You climbed on the bed, opened the wrapper and rolled the condom on Bin. He watched and his hips twitched. “It’s hard staying still when you’re this needy, isn’t it?” You caressed his cheek and he leaned into it, rubbing his face against your hand. He really was needy. He wanted to be touched so badly and you were going to deliver. You straddled his hips and slowly lowered yourself onto him. Bin strained against the ropes that bound his hands and a quiet moan accompanied your way down. You were not in the mood for slow and teasing, and so you started rocking your hips back and forth. The pace took Bin by surprise. He forgot that he was not supposed to make noises and moaned loudly. You could not care less about that when your clit rubbed against his pelvis and he stretched you like that. On the other hand, letting it slip would not be good. You slid your hand up his stomach and landed on his chest. His nipple poked out nicely and you pinched it. He bit his lip and tried hard to keep the moans in. It was getting harder to move. Your body wanted to tense up, but that meant stopping. You were so close. Bin’s whole body lifted off the mattress and his loud moan echoed from the walls. That was the thing you had needed. Your hips shuddered to a hold and you collapsed onto his chest, breathing fast. You have yourself a moment to calm down before sitting up and moving off him. You untied the robes and Bin rubbed his arms. “You okay?” “Yes, I’m good.” He peaked your lips. You laid your head on his chest and he combed your hair. He kissed on top of your head. “Do you want to eat something?” No surprise here. You felt pretty tired but food did sound good. Your stomach growled at the thought and so it was decided. “Shower first tho.” You hived yourself up into a sitting position. Your legs could not support your weight anymore. “Aww look at you. Tired already?” “Be careful what you say. I will remember it!” Bin laughed, bent down and lifted you off the bed. It was always fascinating how easy that was for him. “I can walk myself.” A bit of a lie but he didn’t have to know that. “I know.” He kissed your forehead and carried you to the bathroom.
You took a quick shower and threw on some comfortable clothes. Bin certainly did not care about what other people thought about him when he went out in sweatpants and a hoodie. As for you, you were too hungry and sleepy to care much. You held Bin’s hand as you walked to the take out place near the apartment. It was the prime time for people getting dinner it seemed. There was a queue in front and you joined it. The queue moved slowly. Bin shivered. “Are you cold?” “A bit.” Despite being tall and very buff, Bin easily got cold especially when standing in the chill air like now. You opened your jacket and hugged him. He snuck his hands under the jacket and rested his head on yours. When it was finally your turn you ordered. Bin pulled his wallet from his pants but you were faster. “I will treat you.” Bin beamed and put his wallet away. You paid and waited outside for your order to be finished. With the bag of food in one hand and holding Bin’s hand with the other, you walked home. “I love you.” “I love you too.”
A/N: I hope that was okay

you check the time on your phone and it’s only three am when it feels like you have tried to fall asleep for what felt like hours. you sit up in bed and rub your tired red eyes, fearing for when your alarm would start going off alerting you to start your day when you hadn’t even finished the last. in your sluggish haste you dialled your boyfriend’s number with empty hope that’ll he will pick up...
.
| p a r k  j i n w o o
it took him a while to answer, as expected he was fast asleep. but when he was dragged finally dragged so far outside of his sleep cycle to notice that his phone was ringing, he shot up so fast and answered immediately. when jinwoo heard your voice on the other end he became even more concerned than he already was. why were you awake at this time? was something troubling you? were you in danger? this worried leader bear would not stop worried leadering, he can’t help it, it’s in his nature to be concerned about you. however when you said you just found it a bit hard to sleep and wanted to hear his voice, he softened (a just a bit though he’s still nag you a bit but it was all out of love). jinwoo would then spend the rest of the call’s duration talking softly about his day and things he’s been interested in lately. and maybe MAYBE sing a short lullaby for you really really quietly (so quiet you’d think he’s whispering). in between all his sweet actions he never fails to tell you he loves you and that he’s so extremely proud of you no matter what you do. he wouldn’t end the call until you’ve been silent for 20 minutes and hears your heavy breathing from the other side of the line.
“you want me to sing for you? really bubs, is there anything else- okay, okay, but only because i love you so much my beautiful amazing y/n. if you ever feel like this again please call me, i don’t care what time, your wellbeing is my number one priority”
(i’m blushing oml i love jinwoo so much ;-;)

when it comes to you he would be all bright n’ smiley, no matter how tired he actually was. you knew he had musical promotions coming up which is why you wanted to avoid calling him during the later hours of the day as much as possible. but you should know myungjun is always up to talk to you no matter the time place or day: you’re his love why wouldn’t he? when he answered your call he tried to mask the tiredness in his voice by speaking in a chirpier tone than usual, you laughed at his attempt and said you were going to end the call to let him rest. myungjun of course would never let you have the final say so he started to whine until you gave in and continued to talk to him. then he insisted you guys face timed his excuse being “if i don’t see your face i am physically unable to go to sleep” complete bullshit, but that’s what you love about him. when you answered his face time request he had the biggest shit eating grin on his face. you’d guys would be on call for about an hour telling shitty jokes, blowing raspberries at the screen and talking about places you’d like to visit when you’re both less busy. myungjun only agreed to end the call when both of you struggled intensely to keep your eyes open.
“oooo, look at you my perfect baby!! you’re so good looking you know that? you take my breathe away every single day, i can’t believe you’ve deprived me from seeing your face for this long”
“it’s too late for this myungjun...”
“no matter the time i will shower you with the compliments you deserve jagi!”

good chances are he’s awake and can’t seem to sleep, not being able to clear his head to the point of exhaustion. eunwoo was fully prepared to spend the rest of the night awake. maybe he could do something more useful with his time and catch a nap on set later in the day. kicking off his covers, he was planning to get out of bed but then he got your call. out of all the members i feel eunwoo would be the happiest to get a call from you at this time of night (all of the members wouldn’t really mind but eunwoo would love getting calls like this, it made him feel liked you needed him). when he picked up and there was no hint of sleepiness in his tone you got worried. for the first few minutes all the call was you two sweetly bickering. “why are you still awake-” “well why are you?” “you called me first” “well if you were fast asleep you wouldn’t pick up” and more cute shit like that. talking to you at times like this would bring him so much strength and he really treasures it. something about your silly sleep deprived conversations feels so intimate to him and it sets his heart alight. when he can tell you’re drifting off, he makes sure to tell you he loves you once more before trying to get some sleep himself. the sounds of you soft half-awake sighs would lull him into a deep sleep and you would only notice he never ended the call when you wake up to your phone’s battery being on 3% and the sound of a snoring eunwoo.
“i’ve noticed i don’t sleep as well without you in my arms. i miss your sleepy voice, it’s like a lullaby to me. when i see next you i’m never letting you leave my sight again.”

is it just me or does anyone else think our binnie has a slight temper when he’s woken up from sleep. it wouldn’t last for long but he’ll be very cranky and frustratedly pouty if his alarm had gone off or one of the members started shouting in the dorm when he’s trying to have a lie in. he’d wouldn’t be any different when he heard his phone ringing from the bedside table. he was so tempted to fling that thing out the window. when it went off for the third time he answered the call clumsily almost missing the answer button. in a pissed sleepy voice he answered “what do you want?” you taken aback by your normally sweet boyfriend’s bluntness, whispered a quick apology before ending the call. moonbin felt so awful when he was realised it was you. the last thing this boy wants to do is hurt your feelings and he was angry at himself for denying you in a time of need (now we have a really frustrated pouty bin). he immediately called you back and apologised a lot (even after you said it was fine, his every other sentence was filled with sweet sorry’s and kissy noises just to make sure you don’t hate him) moonbin would calmly ask why you called and got a bit worried when you said you couldn’t sleep. bin would scold you lightly for maybe staring at your screen for too long or not taking as many breaks as he thought you needed. but then again he would comfort you and ask if there’s anything you’d like to get off your chest. after letting you rant he gave his best advice and the most loving and encouraging words he could. you fell asleep to the sounds of his praise and bin couldn’t have felt better.
“baby i’m so so sorry, you know i would never deny you like that on purpose, please don’t be hurt. you’re worth so much to me, i couldn’t bare for you to be upset with me. you know how much i care about you love, right?” *ensue more pouty and whiny bin waffle*
(why this so long and i’m not even binnie biased -_-)

minhyuk would be wide awake when you call him. he feels like one of those people who finds it really relaxing to go on runs in the early morning, watching the sunrise by the river; seeing streets around him get busier as the city starts waking up. he would be in his kitchen filling up his water bottle, hearing his phone ring from the island behind him. his eyes glanced at the contact name and he smiled. minhyuk answered your call like he would answer any other, failing to realise that it was going on 4am and you had things to do in the next few hours. after hearing that you couldn’t sleep he would chuckle and joke around “what’s the thing keeping my y/n from sleeping? tell me and i’ll beat the shit out of the thing ” (not lying he would punch the air around you if you said it was bothering you, he really is that whipped). i don’t think the conversation would hold anything in particular. it would just be mindless small talk and random thoughts as rocky is getting himself ready for his run. it would be so light hearted and sweet, this is what most of your relationship is like and why you love minhyuk so much. everything is so chill and thoughtless with him, you match each other so well. you could say something and nine times out of ten he is thinking the same thing. after sometime he would say he had to end the call because if not he’d miss the sunrise. you complained playfully that he was choosing the sun over you and minhyuk found it funny; promising to make it up to you in one way or another. but you didn’t expect to be woken up by the clattering of pans and cups caused by your clumsy boyfriend, in your kitchen trying to make you breakfast.
“ahh don’t worry y/n, i would never need the sun when i have you with me. you make me so happy you’re like my own personal sunshine. try and get some rest and you’ll wake up to pictures of the sunrise that reminds me so much of you.”

out of all six members, he would be the only one not to pick up. sanah obviously wouldn’t do it on purpose, he loves you way too much to ignore you like that. he probably left his phone to charge in another room or in a more likely scenario poor bubs was just so tired he couldn’t wake up. even if you threw water on him our maknae wouldn’t budge. so when you called, his phone was just vibrating on the table untouched. after the fifth go you just stopped trying to reach him and started up at your celling hoping tiredness would reach you soon. in the morning when sanah checked his phone and saw all your missed calls, colour drained from his face and he’d get so panicky that he’d almost drop his it. he called back immediately, flooding your exhausted state with so many questions it would make anyone lightheaded. when telling him you just wanted to hear his voice hoping it would help you sleep, he replied with “did you end up getting any sleep then?” and when all he was met with was silence from your end, his heart dropped. he was so angry at himself and would never let it go that he was the reason you didn’t sleep (he wasn’t but trust me for the next week he’d go to bed with his phone right behind his ear). sanah would tell you to get your laptop ready with a show you’d been meaning to watch because he was coming over for a nap n’ movie date. when you tried to object because you had things to do that day he told you no but’s and he’d cancel work/school/your meet up with friends for you. in no time he showed up at your door in his pyjamas with two plastic bags, filled with extra blankets and your favourite sweet and savoury snacks.
“what do you mean you didn’t get any sleep and did some work instead? sweetcheeks you know that’s horrible for your health, i can’t have you being sick, it would break me knowing i was the reason. you know what? get your netflix account up i’m coming over- no excuses, i’ll handle everything else, now go get ready to be attack with my love.”
(the sweetest >:( i cry)
.
if you reached the end thank you so so much for reading. if this comforted you even just a bit i’m so glad <3 ily u all ~~

moonbin as a high school kdrama character
so i read this post by @milkybonya and was inspired!
group: astro member: moonbin genre: fluff word count: 3k warnings: mild cursing? pairing: moonbin x gn!reader (let me know if i missed something)
note: i have not spent any time in the korean school system, so the school experience in this will be kinda a mix of my own experiences in high school (the start of the school year in the late summer/fall) and what i've read up or seen in actual kdramas (like how the students stay in the room and the teachers move from class to class)
moon bin has been the top athlete practically since he could walk
basically a child prodigy in anything physical - swimming, basketball, track, you name it
as such, by the time he's a senior in high school, he's something of a local legend
so he's also kinda got a big head
also does annoyingly well in school
like
almost always sleeping in class or texting his friends or playing games on his phone
and skips out on the study sessions even if they're mandatory
but still manages to earn high marks
he participates in all sports, so very in shape
and always likes to show off when he can
like lifting the hem of his shirt to wipe sweat off his forehead
or will wear no-sleeve shirts at every opportunity to show off his arms
not that he really needs an excuse to show off
since he's on the swim team...
so
he's just being obnoxious at this point
you've just transferred even though it's your last year of high school
so you have no idea who this moon bin kid is
and because you don't really care about sports, you don't really care about him
you, of course, are in his homeroom and since you're new, the teacher makes you introduce yourself
you're only slightly awkward, because who likes having that many eyes on them, but it's quick and painless and now it's a matter of finding you a seat
of course, there's only one seat empty
and of course, it's right next to moon bin
the teacher asks one of the students seated in the middle-middle of the room to take that empty seat
you're quick to assure him it's fine, you're okay sitting in the back
he gives you a look, and so do some of the other students, because are you sure? you want to start the last and most important year seated next to the student most likely to disturb your studies?
but of course you don't know this, so you insist you'll take the seat in the back
moon bin watches with a smirk on his face the whole time
oh boy, he thinks to himself. a new student to fall in love with me
he leans back casually, balancing on the rear legs of his chair while lacing his fingers behind his head
it's still hot, so everyone's dressed in their summer uniforms, which means moon bin's shirt is completely unbottoned over his white t-shirt, which the girls love because it's definitely maybe just a tad too snug
especially when he's got his hands behind his head, like he does now
you notice the movement and notice his chest, which is barely straining against the soft fabric
you also notice that his relaxed, slightly bored expression changes when he notices you notice him
he smirks and you sigh; oh. he's that type of student
he expects you to grow flustered and blush and try not to look at his chest even though he definitely wants you to
instead, you scoff under your breath when you reach your seat and sit without another glance his direction
not even when his chair drops back to the floor with a crash, making everyone else turn in his direction
the teacher asks him what's going on and moon bin just chuckles and makes up something about losing his balance
once that's resolved, everyone goes back to listening to the teacher
but moon bin is sneaking glances your way while you keep your eyes glued on the chalk board even though you are very aware of the pair of eyes on you
by the time class is over, moon bin is sulking
because no one has ever not been interested in him before
and he's stubbornly not about to accept anything different now
which means:
operation make-[y/n]-like-moon-bin is a go
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
you catch on pretty quick
which makes you ignore him even more
which makes him try even harder to catch your attention
for the most part, you're pretty good at letting things just slide off you like water off a duck
but it's the first big test of the year in the subject you struggle with the most
it's study period, so there is no teacher in the room and most of the students are busy studying
except moon bin
because yes, he gets good grades without trying
but this subject, the one you're the worst at, he's the best at
so he takes the absence of a teacher to flick bits of paper at you
this isn't the first time he's done something like this
so he expects you to continue to ignore him until he gets bored and moves onto the next get-[y/n]-to-notice-him scheme
except it's been a long week
and you're stressing over this test
on top of the other class work for the other classes
so you snap
you're so done with this week that you don't even care you've gotten the attention of the other students
you just glare at moon bin
and he's so shocked his mouth falls open a little and his eyes widen
and he just...sits there
"jesus christ!" you finally exclaim, slamming down your pencil and whirling around to face moon bin. unfortunately for him, his fingers were in the process of flicking another wad of paper your way and he can't stop them. the last bit of paper sails toward you and nails you right between the eyes.
normally, it would be funny and he would laugh and so would the rest of the class and maybe you would even fight a chuckle. but your glance is so dark and furious that he shrinks back just slightly.
"i get that you enjoy trying to get my attention," you say hotly. "but if you've been paying any attention to me, you would see that now is not the time to be doing something so juvenile! if it's attention you want so damn much, there are plenty of other girls who would be more than willing to provide your fill!"
the teacher enters the class for the next period just then and looks between you and moon bin. "is something wrong?" she asks.
"nothing," you say, tearing your glare away from moon bin to address the teacher.
"nothing," moon bin agrees, though his gaze is still on you.
the teacher starts the class and you dutifully take notes, the cold shoulder you're giving moon bin enough to make those around you edge away.
the school day is finally over and you shove your things in your bag in record time and storm out of the room, yanking the sliding door open with more force than necessary and then slamming it shut behind you so hard the glass pane shivers.
and so does moon bin. because even though you never really gave him the time of day despite all of his attempts to get your attention, you had always gone along with it. sometimes he could swear he sees a hint of a smile on your lips and a glimmer of amusement in your eyes.
but you had been right. for all his attention poured into getting you to pay attention to him, he never paused long enough to consider how you were feeling. and in retrospect, the signs were obvious. you had been arriving later than normal over the course of the week, once even almost missing morning check-in. there were bags under your eyes and when you were with your friends, you were quieter and didn't participate as much in conversation.
and of course he knew there was one class in particular that always gave you trouble. you sat next to each other, after all, and he would always sneak a glance at the grades you made on the quizzes or returned homework assignments. he would hear you sigh in frustration and scratch your head in confusion as you tried to work out what you did wrong.
moon bin worries the whole weekend, dreading monday but also impatient for it to arrive, just so he can...he's not sure what. apologize? offer assistance in class? he doesn't know; he's never been in this situation, never been so totally and completely in the wrong.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
the weekend crawls to an end, but for you, it flies by in an instant. you get to school early, rather begrudgingly, hoping the change of scenery would help you retain anything.
your movements are heavy as you trudge into the classroom, only to come to an abrupt halt.
because you're not the first one there
moon bin is at his desk
and he looks nervous
he's sitting on the edge of his chair, his leg bouncing up and down, his hands clasped in front of his mouth
you contemplate checking to see if the library's open this early
but he jumps to his feet and calls your name
"wait!"
you sigh and cross your arms tightly across your chest. "what?" you deadpan.
"i'm sorry," he says quietly.
you quirk an eyebrow in disbelief. "you're what?"
"sorry," he repeats, louder this time and looking you square in the eyes. "i'm sorry i was a jerk to you on friday."
you can just stare at him for a moment, trying to determine his sincerity. his face certainly looks sincere, but he's also a very good actor, if the way he can talk himself out of trouble is any indication.
in a few quick strides, you're standing directly in front of moon bin's desk. he startles a little at the sudden proximity, and then blinks owlishly when you lean your face closer to his, trying your best to read his expression.
"fine," you say after a moment, turning away and plopping into your seat next to his. "apology accepted."
he remains standing for another beat, feeling a little overwhelmed by your sudden closeness and then just as sudden distance. he slowly sinks down into his chair and turns to you as you begin pulling out your notes.
he watches you while you begin to pour over past assignments and quizzes, but then jumps a little when you whirl around to face him.
"if you're going to start flicking papers at me, i take back my 'apology accepted,'" you scowl.
"no, sorry!" moon bin exclaims, his eyes widening a little. "i just...well..." his gaze drifts to the papers on your desk and then back to you. you clear your throat, suddenly embarrassed by your poor scores. you turn away and attempt to shove everything away, but moon bin catches your wrist, to both your surprise.
you glance between his hand on your wrist and his face, and he quickly pulls away, his cheeks starting to turn a bit pink. he clears his throat and says, "well, i thought maybe...i could help you...with studying..."
and suddenly, it's a regular thing
moon bin, voluntarily, in the library
everyone's shocked
and the whispers and stares start to follow you around
but again, you’re new
you have no idea who moon bin is, don't know his reputation, what's regular and irregular for him
and you just think "about damn time he does something other than flex his muscles"
and he's surprisingly good at tutoring
you almost ask him why he doesn't tutor other students
but he's really only good because he wants to be of assistance to you
he doesn't want to be a burden
you work your butt off during those tutoring sessions, because you want so badly to conquer this subject that has forever been the goliath to your david
and moon bin has seen how hard you work in your classes
but he can't help but be impressed with how much effort you pour into getting better
even at a subject you hate and that has beaten you at every turn
moon bin, despite his sportiness and his bright smile, keeps a relatively small friend circle
and they are floored by the sudden change in moon bin
because he's never worked so hard to get someone to so much as look at him
and they realize before he does
before anyone else does
that he's actually falling for you
because he does more than just tutor you
he actually listens to you
like when you hear soft snoring coming from next to you one day in class
you glance over and see moon bin peacefully snoozing, his cheek resting against his fist
with a huff, you jab his elbow with your own, causing his head to drop dangerously close to the desk
you just meet his glare with your own when he whirls around to face you
or when you express your incredulousness when you discover moon bin has never been punished for missing mandatory after-school study sessions
what do you know, he shows up to the very next one and sits next to you
you think nothing of it, but can tell by the gasps and whispers that something major just happened
or you hiss at him to put away his damn phone
because the vibrating it does when he receives a text is distracting
or because his soft exclamations while he plays games is just plain annoying
when his friends ask him about his sudden silence during class, he says he got his phone taken away
when his gamer mates demand to know why he suddenly stopped playing during their usual scheduled battles, he tells them he got bored of the game
or he overhears you scoff when he lifts the hem of his shirt to wipe his brow of sweat, showing off his abs to the squeals of the other girls during gym class
he glances your way to see you roll your eyes and whisper to your friend
he frowns but never does it again
it's not until just before finals before winter break that moon bin realizes what his friends have known for months
he likes you
like, actually likes you
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
it starts when you don't show up by morning roll call
if there's one thing moon bin has discovered about you
(like there's only one thing)
you hate being late
hate it to the point that you get anxious if you can't get to school at least fifteen minutes before first bell
it's not until midday that he overhears someone say that you've caught a bad bug
he immediately worries for you, since the teachers have been giving out even more study material to prepare everyone for finals
after school, he goes up to the teachers' office and quietly asks if he can get a copy of all the extra handouts
when asked why, he says he dropped his in the locker room and got them all wet
the teachers clearly don't believe him but give him the handouts he requests
then he's tracking down your friends
at first he considers dropping them off himself
but instead just shove the papers in your friend's hands and turns away without a word
that continues for the rest of the week as you miss more and more days
when you finally come back to class in time for the first day of finals, you march up to moon bin and drop all the handouts on his desk
he looks up at you and you just stare down at him
your expression is impossible to read and moon bin prepares himself for the worst
but your lips finally turn upward in a small smile and you give him a quiet 'thank you' before taking your seat beside him
"i don't know what you're talking about," he says immediately.
you snort. "please," you say. "did you really think my friends wouldn't tell me who gave them the papers?" he continues to stare at his notes. without thinking, you reach out and place your hand on top of his wrist. his eyes snap up to you and you say, "seriously. i really appreciate it. you didn't have to."
moon bin's heart is hammering in his chest and he wonders if you can feel his pulse in his wrist, where your fingers still lay. he clears his throat and just nods. you turn away, taking your warm touch with you, and you start cramming.
you have to wait a grueling two weeks of winter break before test scores are revealed
the first day of the new semester, everyone arrives early to get a glance at rankings
you make your way slowly to the bulletin board, heart beating nervously
you wait patiently behind the crowd of students, not super anxious to find out any sooner than necessary
you finally make it to the front of the queue and slowly find your name, listed alphabetically
and nearly faint from relief
because while you were expecting average-to-better-than-average grades for most of the subjects
you are beyond shocked to see that not only did you score well in the subject you dread
but your score is fifth best of the entire grade
you hear a quiet congratulations over your shoulder and you know without turning around who it is
because you have grown used to his soft tone from days spent in the library
you don't think twice before throwing your arms around moon bin's neck, a giddy laugh escaping your lips
"i couldn't have done it without you!" you say happily. "thank you so much!"
you pull away to get another look at the score, because wow you're excited
but moon bin catches your hand before you turn away from him completely
and he says simply
"i like you"
you grin and say, "about time you admitted it"
moon bin smiles back and asks, "are you free after school?"
"is the great moon bin asking me on a date?" you ask, raising an eyebrow
both of you ignore the gasps and wide eyes around you
"yes," he says without missing a beat, a wide grin making his eyes turn into crescent moons. "so, are you?"
"yes," you say without missing a beat, a matching grin making your eyes turn into stars.

how BiNu confessed
Hello! I’m back~ It’s exam season but here I am. I hope you guys like it! Don’t be shy and request anything if you would like.
Theme: Fluff
Eunwoo
hey, I’m sorry I’m busy today! Just reminding you I love you
A smile painted your face as you sent a reply back to your boyfriend, Eunwoo. You were a little sad that Eunwoo had a schedule today but it is what it is right? It’s his job after all. Although you missed seeing him, he always made an effort to video call every night and occasionally would drop by your apartment at night before heading back to the dorms. He always tried his best and for that you loved him dearly.
That’s alright! I’ll enjoy this nice day for the both of us~ Keep working hard! I love you
After sending your message, you were immediately met with a cute emoticon. Giggling like a 5 year old, you sent one back. Truthfully everyday seemed like a dream. It was such a blessing you met Eunwoo and the fact you were in a relationship with him still felt surreal. He was such a caring and selfless man, always considerate and hard working. When you first met him, it was a little hard to believe how polite and caring of a human being he was. You didn’t know if he acted this way because he had an image to up hold or not. But your doubt was eventually proven wrong after some drinks and a very real and raw conversation.
You still remember the smell and sounds of the tent bar. The loud business men coming to drink after a long day of work, the group college students ignoring their final assignments and the smell of soju. Eunwoo and you weren’t very close friends back then and it was certainly awkward when your mutual friend didn’t show up. However 3 bottles of soju seemed to do the trick and helped you both let loose and start talking about your dreams and insecurities. It was refreshing getting to know Eunwoo and his mind. At the moment you really admired him as a person, how hard working he was and how considerate he was. You felt horrible for misjudging him and doubting him. It was probably then when your feelings for him started.
It took eight more months for anything to actually start. You tried your hardest to stop your feelings for him as you didn’t want them ruining your friendship. Anyway, how could he feel the same way about you anyway? That’s why you were taken aback when you were both resting on the couch on your apartment and he suddenly became agitated. You had invited some friends over just to have a little breather and you were all playing charades.
At first you thought he was just frustrated because his team couldn’t play for shit and yours won as the game ended with 9-5. Rocky had you on his back as you both celebrated your win with your two other teammates. You were laughing while holding Rocky tightly so you wouldn’t fall as he began dancing when you felt an icy stare coming from somewhere. Your eyes met Eunwoo’s and you were slightly taken aback by the glare he held on his face. Confused, you watch him flee to the kitchen. You got off Rocky as gave another ‘whoop’ before making a beeline to the kitchen.
“Look, if I’ve done anything wrong, let me know. I can’t read your mind and glaring won’t help either ok?” You spoke bluntly as you found it rare that he would be this childish.
“I just- I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to glare.” He said as he brushed his hair back and swallowing a lump in his throat.
“Well I can still see your not in a very good mood. Do you want to step out and talk about it?” You offered with a smile while taking his hand and staring into his eyes. You swear you melted right then and there. He seemed to think about it before nodding and letting you lead the way to the door.
“Damn it, it’s cold” you muttered to yourself as you left the warmth of your apartment. You felt a pair of arms wrap around you and suddenly it felt like you were in a sauna. Trying to get rid of the blush on your cheeks, you wriggle out of his embrace.
“Don’t worry, I’ll survive. Now tell me what’s been plaguing your mind.”  You said turning around, trying to not be flustered. Although you felt safe in his arms; as if you belonged, you didn’t want to give yourself false hope. To him it might just be an innocent hug but it sent butterflies to your stomach.
“I have feelings for someone and I don’t think they’ll return them.” He said as he stepped back and met your eyes. You felt your stomach drop. Ignoring the slight pain in your chest, you turn to look at him as he stares back at you.
“Ahh, I see. How would you know if you haven’t heard that person’s answer? There’s a 50% chance they’ll return them or not. But seeing as to how you act like the perfect gentleman, the chances are probably higher.” You smiled before looking away, trying to not let him see the slight pain in your face.
“Is that so?” He said as he moved to were your eyes were looking off to and waited until your eyes met his. “What are the chances of you returning my feelings?”
“What?” Honestly, you were so confused. What was happening? Is what you were thinking happening? He smiled before holding your hand in his.
“I like you Y/N” A blush seem to creep on both of your faces. Unable to meet his gaze, you nod.
“Me too” You felt time stop as he smiled at you and pulled you into a tight embrace against his chest.
“Thank god.” He sighed in relief before planting a light peck on your lips.
Tumblr media
Moonbin
“You made all this?” Moonbin said with excitement and disbelief as he stared at the six lunch boxes in front of him; one for each member of Astro. “Thank you so much!” And with that, you were engulfed into a big bear hug.
You dramatically gasp for breath before he pulls away and places a kiss on your forehead. Smiling up at the man, you realise how awfully tired he looked. A pout soon graced your face, Moonbin noticing immediately. He stroked you hair and put his chin on your head, pulling you into a gentle and warm hug.
“I’m alright. I have your food to energise me through the day! Don’t worry about me.” He said gently.
“I know I shouldn’t worry, I just wish you could have a day off and sleep like sleeping beauty. To rest properly.” You mumbled into his shirt. You feel him kiss you head before pulling away and looking into your eyes.
“My day off’s on Sunday, I’ll make sure to sleep like the dead.” He laughed before turning to the door “I’m super late! I’ll text you when I get there and when I should be home. I love you~” And with a kiss goodbye, he was out the door.
Watching him leave in a rush always made you laugh, his poor time management was always the product of him sleeping in. It always worried you how he’d come home late and leave early for his schedules. He practiced like crazy as well. It also reminded you of when you first met.
Your friend wanted to introduce you to a dancer as you expressed an interest in it. You were hesitant, as your interest was only a passing comment and not meant to be taken seriously, however you also suspected this was your friend’s way of setting you up with someone. They had been constantly asking you if you were seeing anyone for the past year. You were too busy with your part time job and being a full time student in culinary school. With some persuasion, you finally went with your friend to meet this man. Honestly you kind of judged Moonbin when he was 20 minutes late. You were thinking about how you could have been studying for an upcoming exam and here you were, waiting for some dude. However after talking to man, you seemed to become smitten with him. He was funny and gentle but was also ready to fight with anyone who thought cats were annoying.
As cheesy as it is to say, time seemed to stop. You didn’t really pay mind to your friend leaving you two alone and you also didn’t realise the sun was already beginning to set. You realised that this man was a breath of fresh air to you so when he asked for you number as you were both about to part ways, you absolutely did not hesitate.
Your relationship was little complicated for the next 4 months. It was like you were a couple but at the same time you weren’t official. Both of you would go on dates, talk late at night and would have movie nights in your apartment. You both knew that each other was interested but neither had actually spoken about it. It was a strange and weird situation to be in.
At first it made you heart flutter every time your hands would brush past each others or when your faces would be so close to a kiss. But soon you grew a little tired of it. Moonbin seemed to be the person you could count on whenever you wanted to rant about school or your co workers and would always taste you dishes with very honest feedback, however you were tired of this wishy washy relationship you both had. As much as you knew that Moonbin was a kind and caring man, you insecurities started to overtake your mind. You often wondered if he was like this another girl, he was an awfully handsome and talented man so who wouldn’t want to have him?
You began to think he only saw you as some fun on the side.
Your chain of thought was disrupted when you heard a knock at your door. Ah, that’s right, Moonbin said he was coming over after recording. Opening the door, you were greeted with a smile that could easily turn you into a puddle. He had said he couldn’t stay long as he needed to back at the dorms before 10pm. A little confused as to why he would bother coming over if he needed to leave in 45 minutes, you followed him into the apartment.
“Then why are you coming to visit then silly?” You said in a playful tone as you offered him some gimbap you made. You were shocked when he rejected them. What as going on? Moonbin rejecting food? And then it dawned on you. He was probably gonna tell you that he wasn’t interested and only saw you as friend.
“I’m sorry I should have done this earlier” You braced yourself for the rejection as your hands found the hem of you shirt and played around with it. He looked into you eyes with an intensity you had never seen before and it made you nervous. As you felt some tear beginning to form, you look away from his gaze.
“I like you. Like a lot. I’m sorry for not telling you early enough. I was just shy and didn’t know if you would like me back.” what? You looked back at him in confusion. Your mind went blank and you were left to just stare, no words seeming to form.
When you didn’t reply back, his head hung down for little bit before he looked back up at you with a bittersweet smile. “It’s ok, you don’t have to say anything. I just wanted to confess my feelings.” As he was about to reach for the door handle, you snapped out of your trance and rushed to stop him.
He was caught by surprise when he left your arms embrace him from the back. You didn’t trust yourself to talk to him with his eyes on you so you mumbled it into his back. “I like you too. I like so much. I didn’t know if you actually liked me or if you were just having some fun” He quickly turned around to your words and cupped your face.
“Of course I like you. How could I not?” Moonbin smiled as he kissed your forehead and then your lips.

Perfection Imperfections | Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Chapter Index
»»—————————————-
Finally, summer break. It’s been a while since I was able to go home. Having to attend high school rather far from my home in Seoul, I never thought that I’d adjust to the new environment. Fortunately, I wasn’t entirely alone, since I stayed with my aunt for the four years of my high school life. School wasn’t so bad, but the homesickness is what killed it for me. Even though it was my parents' idea to send me a rather vast distance—me not being too excited about it, but I knew I wouldn’t get my way in the end—there was some good that came from it. The two only good things, actually.
I glance outside the train window, the buildings of Busan zooming past me. Sure, it may not be my home, but I won’t lie. I’m really going to miss this place. My phone suddenly vibrates in my lap, glancing down to see a text from my group chat, smiling as I respond.
(Binnie)

I snort, turning off my phone and placing it back down on my lap as I go back to staring outside my left-hand window again. Meet Cha Eunwoo and Moon Bin, my two best friends. The only reason I got through high school how I did without major setbacks. Sure, there was the occasional homesickness and all, but had I not met these two, I probably wouldn’t have even attended and graduated.
Being so far away from the place I grew up never really suited me, and they saw it right away from day one how lonely and upset I looked. I didn't seem to fit in, especially since I skipped a grade and was placed in classes that were very advanced for me. Not that I minded the vigor, but it was hard for me to socialize, let alone make friends.
That’s when I met them. Freshman year in homeroom before my first literature class. Moon Bin, a boy with parted, coppery-golden hair accompanied by his shy, puppy-eye smile and sweet nature, offered me an empty seat next to him in class, even going as far as to share his textbook and asking how I found the school. No doubt, I was embarrassed and immensely shy, stuttering over my words and failing to meet his soft gaze. However, he didn’t make fun of me nor find me odd. All he did was smile, laughing lightly at my slightly flustered state. He stuck his hand out, introducing himself (most people just call him Moonbin or Bin) with that smile of his, thus the start of our new friendship. Since then, he became someone who always knew how to cheer me up when I was feeling down. No moment was ever dull with him by my side.
Eunwoo, the tall, brooding black-haired and charismatic student almost everyone knew (and crushed on) of, was usually with Moonbin when we hung out together, but he normally kept to himself. Though quiet and sometimes reserved with his intimidating looks, it didn’t take long for him to break the ice with us, the three of us becoming close friends. Promising to stay like this until we went to college and beyond. Regardless if we all diverge and tread different paths, we would always converge and come back to one another.
Four years flew by and graduation was upon us. Just like that, the two became like family to me, my ride-or-die duo. The two who were able to turn my world upside down, finding solace in a time where I thought it was nearly impossible for me to.
My thoughts are interrupted by my “Move” ringtone—yes, I’m a huge Lee Taemin fan—looking down at my phone again to see it’s my brother calling. I sigh, picking up the call.
“What?”
He gasps dramatically. “Is that any way to address your loving older brother after being away for so long?”
I snort, shaking my head. “Loving my ass, oppa. How are mom and dad?”
“They’re fine, living. Didn’t you tell them you’re coming home?”
“Nope, I don’t even text them that often. You already know this..”
He sighs. “Yeah, I figured.”
There’s a slight pause on his end, but he continues. “You took the three-thirty train, right? So you’ll be here around five or so?”
“Yeah, give or take.”
I look out the window again to see the endless stretch of greenery and flowing springs, sometimes even children playing in the fields. I grin mischievously, deciding to poke fun at my brother when he doesn’t respond right away.
“What, you miss me?”
He makes a sound similar to throwing up. “As if. I got so used to the peace and quiet. I’m not ready for it to go away.”
“Yah!” I realize that I had yelled a bit too loudly and eyes were now trained on me, and I bow my head in apology. I lower my voice, “You’re such an asshole.”
“Oh, I know, but you still love me anyway.”
“Shut up.”
I can hear his laugh resonate through the phone and a smile unknowingly tugs at my lips. I wouldn’t say it out loud, but it’s true. When I lived with my aunt in Busan for the duration of high school, I missed Jaehyun a lot. Though two years older than me, he didn’t seem to alienate me the way my parents do. While I hate the notion that they spoil Jaehyun endlessly and let him do as he wishes, I won’t lie and say that he was a prick about it. He could’ve been, but he never came off as selfish. I’m really close with my brother, shocking as it may be. Sibling relationships are like that—one minute you want to strangle them with their intestines and the next you’re singing duets together. Crazy, but that’s how it is for us. My parents don’t really pay me any attention, so Jaehyun decides to do that instead. Not complaining though. I’d rather take his pranking and teasing over my parents’ demands and reprimands any day.
“Aight, I’m heading out for a bit. Text me when you arrive.”
I smile again. “Will do, but make sure to get me food!”
“Let me think…” He hums, and I can practically sense the smirk on his end. “Nope. Get your own.”
“Oppa!”
Jaehyun laughs. “See you in a bit, Hyuna. Get here safely. Bye!”
He hangs up the call before I get a chance to retort, and I scoff. Typical of my brother. He knows how much I enjoy street food, and every time he goes out, it’s almost certain that most of the time he stops somewhere to eat. Did he ever bring food back? Sure, but by the time I’d get to it, most of it was gone anyways. That only lasted a little while before I had gone upstate anyways, so he had more food for himself, I guess.
As the train barrels down the tracks, I feel my heart racing in excitement, but there’s also a slight ounce of dread. I really don’t know why. I want to believe it’s because I’ve been away for too long, but part of me knows it’s the fact that I’ll have to face my parents again. Knowing that I only have two months to decide where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do, I know the bitter truth is that those decisions won’t be left up to me. Last time, I was sent to Busan.
God knows where I’d be sent to now.
***
“Final destination of the KTX Busan-Seoul train at Seoul Station is approaching and will arrive at 05:30 PM. The doors to alight are on the right hand side. All passengers are requested to dismount the train upon arrival. Thank you.”
That’s my stop.
Gathering my bag and hand luggage, I patiently wait for the train to pull up at the station. Seeing the familiar shops and buildings around me makes my legs bounce up and down in both excitement and anticipation.
Four long years away from Seoul...
Before getting off, I quickly text the group chat and then my brother, letting them all know that I’ve reached safely. Side-stepping the other passengers exiting the subway doors, I carefully land onto the platform with my luggage in tow. I breathe in the air around as I stretch my arms up into the sky, the grin widening on my face.
It sure as hell feels good to be back home.
I try my best to maneuver through the crowds, but it doesn’t stop the rush of people knocking into me. At times like these, I curse my genetics for favoring my older brother instead of me in terms of height. Eventually, I come to a clearing and when my eyes glance upwards, I spot a rather familiar dark brown-haired six-foot-tall male amongst the small crowd waving me over.
“Hyuna, over here!”
I gasp, my eyes widening. “Oppa!”
He smiles as I begin walking towards him, my feet hurriedly moving across the concrete. The distance between us shortens and I abandon my luggage as he opens his arms wide.
Only for me to sucker punch him in the stomach.
He yelps in pain, grimacing as he holds his abdomen. “Shit, that hurt. What has Aunt Sua been feeding you up there? Rocks?”
I smack his shoulder, my blood slightly boiling in anger. “Yah, why didn’t you tell me you were coming?! Do you know how much money I blew off for the bus fare?”
He straightens his back before going to rub his shoulder, then behind his neck.
“Fine, fine. My bad. I wanted to surprise you, but I guess that didn’t work, did it?”
I cross my arms over my chest, huffing in annoyance. He sighs, nodding.
“Okay, okay, I’ll compensate you. Dinner’s on me.”
At this I grin, blinking excitedly. I grab onto his arm and shake it vigorously. “Really? You mean it? You’re the best, oppa!”
“Look at this brat..” he taunts, shaking his head. In a flash, he headlocks me and rubs the top of my head harshly with his knuckles, upsetting the neatly-tied auburn ponytail.
“Yah! Quit it!” I smack his arms and flail in protest, but he chuckles, saying this is what I get for cunningly finding a way to exploit him the minute I stepped back into Seoul.
What can I say? It’s a talent.
He lets go eventually, and I try to smooth down my already-tangled hair. I grumble incoherently but Jaehyun pulls me into his embrace, wrapping his arms around me. His free hand gently pats the side of my head in comfort.
“Welcome home, sis.”
I stand there stiff for a second before hugging back. He squeezes me tighter and I find myself smiling into his shoulder.
“Good to be back,” I whisper.
We stand like that for a moment before he pats my back a couple of times, us pulling away from each other soon after. He reaches behind me to grab my hand luggage as he shoulders my bag. I tell him that I can carry them just fine, but he starts walking away from the platform to the parking lot. I call out after him as I run to catch up, and I can see the corners of his mouth twitch. Jaehyun leads me to his car, a sleek matte-silver convertible Mustang. My mouth drops open in shock at its stunning beauty, my body forcing itself to remain composed for the sake of avoiding public self-embarrassment.
He throws my luggage in the back seat before he turns to me, smirking at my expression. “You like it?”
“Shit, do I like it? I love it!” I run my fingers over its metallic surface, the silver exterior gleaming in the evening glow. Grinning, I stare up at my brother who catches my gaze as I stand next to the driver’s seat, my fingers already curled on the handle.
“Can I—”
“No.”
“Please—”
“Nope.”
I pout as I pull my hand away and step to the side. Jaehyun chuckles, rubbing my head playfully before getting into the driver’s seat and starting the car. The engine purrs to life as my brother pulls out his shades and wears them. He looks at me and cocks his head to the passenger seat.
“Don’t just stand there. Get in.”
Smiling, I quickly make my way over to the other side and slip into the passenger seat. I barely have time to buckle in before Jaehyun speeds off. I scream in fright, but he laughs heartily, telling me to let loose.
With the wind harshly whipping around us, I close my eyes and tilt my head upwards, absorbing the remnants of my childhood in a place I’ll always call home. A place where my heart always feels at ease.
My name is Jung Hyuna. I’m eighteen years old, and this is my story.

JinJIn
Tumblr media
I can see him spoiling the absolute the hell out of you!
To the max
Fancy dates
Expensive gifts
He also is an expert cuddler
And he wants it.... like all the time
I can see him loving being next to you
but it doesn’t have to be all the time
He’s a busy guy...
So he can’t always be there for you
But he also makes up for it
He also makes sure you watch all his performances
He loves you a lot, but sometimes he needs to space himself from you and work
That can lead to conflict
And sometimes he can snap at you
but if he does, he’s a mess afterwards
He’ll get really emotional and tell you he’s sorry
He also doesn’t want you to be upset with him
He’ll explain that his work is important and he doesn’t want to make you upset, but sometimes he just can’t do things with you
You two of course make up and then he picks a day where he’s free and he’ll take you out and spoil you like the princess you are!
MJ
Tumblr media
You better buckle up honey!
Myungjun is crazy AF
You’ll be in stitches laughing so hard with this boy
But he’s also adorable to no end
So dating him is like an adventure everyday
I feel like he would love taking you around town for your dates
Shopping is his favorite
He’s always showing you outfits he thinks you would look good in!
“Jagiya! this one! you’d look so cute!”
He would want you to try them on, and of course he’s taking pics
You’re definitely his home screen wallpaper
Myungjun would also have to hold you
24/7
Cooking, reading a book, washing dishes
Arms are glued around you
I can’t exactly see you guys fighting
Who’s gonna fight him??? lets be real
It would just be like little rants or arguments
He would just hug you and kiss you until you forgot why you were mad at him.
MJ would be a chaotic but, no doubt, hella fun boyfriend!
Lord give me strength....
Cha Eunwoo
Tumblr media
MY BOY!!!
Okay Dong Min would be the sweetest boyfriend (not just saying this because he’s my bias)
But he would be!
I can’t see him too much into PDA
but this boy will definitely hold your hand every where
He will show you all his love when it’s just you guys
I can see him getting adorably jealous
Like he wants you all to himself
no one else can have you
I can see the guys giving him a hard time about you as well
They love messing with him
They will purposely flirt with you, just to get a reaction out of him
(Pray for them... they’re gonna need it)
He would just put his arms around you
look them dead in the eyes
and say
“She’s Mine”
If there’s any fights, I can’t see him apologizing right away
He’s kind of stubborn
The guys would probably have to tell him to
But then he makes it all up to you.
He also loves forehead kisses
Okay I’m done hurting myself >.<
Moonbin
Tumblr media
Bin would be a little similar to Eunwoo
He’s already perfect Boyfriend material
He would definitely treat you like royalty
A princess
He would also get a lot of gifts
Mostly jewelry
Okay prepare yourselves for this one...
Beach Picnic dates
*deep sigh*
He would love walking along the beach with you
He can also pick you up like its nothing
(damn...)
Unfortunately I could see you two getting into arguments
but I think it would end with the two of you exchanging kisses and just showing each other how much you love one another.
He hates it when you guys fight
So he would make you feel all the love you deserve.
because at the end of the day he still loves you
and doesn’t wanna give up on you guys
Rocky
Tumblr media
Minhyuk is a little tough...
But I think he would be a little bit of MJ and JinJin
Silly yet sweet.
He’s always sending you random snaps
Weird faces
and cute faces
A lot of cute captions like
“I miss you baby :)”
“I can’t wait to see you later! hang on just a little longer”
“I ate some Spicy Ramyun and I thought of you because you’re so hot!!”
He loves dancing with and for you
He’ll pull you up off the floor and turn on some music and dance with you
Definitely a slow dancer
He would use this method to cheer you up on bad days
Even if he was the problem, and you were mad at him.
He would turn on some music on his phone
Pull you close and slowly dance with you
Sanha
Tumblr media
Okay
Sanha is growing up right before our eyes
however
He is still Astro’s baby
But he is one of the many evil maknaes!
So though he loves you with all his heart
You’re still his number 1 target
He’s the kind to kick you off the couch
then make sure you’re okay.
“Oh! My baby! are you okay??”
He can be really sweet
or a total shit head
He makes fun of all the member’s height (except Eunwoo)
And he’ll make fun of you too
“Guys... how can this tiny thing here, be my girlfriend!?
If you two fight
He’ll go to his Hyungs
Because he screwed up and now he doesn’t know how to fix it...
So he’ll show up with flowers
put on the best Aegyo he can muster
And tell you he’s sorry with the smallest voice ever
and of course you can’t help but forgive him
He then will cuddle you and never let you go.
then the next day, it’s back to the teasing!
All in all I would give Astro a 10/10! Enjoy you day Arohas and Happy New Year!

Secret garden | ASTRO |
Tumblr media
Description: You knew about a secret garden that had the most beautiful flowers and the rarest of flowers but there was something interesting with the people who looked after them.
Warnings: None
Astro x fem reader
M.list
A/N: *fun fact this story has been sitting in my drafts* but Here it is a short drabble of the events inspired by the song and video ( all night )  enjoy!
                                                            ****
Everyday on your walk to work you always pass this greenhouse, it’s big and grand. Inside is always filled with healthy plants that hug the glass windows, attached is a small house which is consumed in vines and ivy. It looks aesthetically pleasing, but today you wanted to know what was inside.
Walking past the stone wall that guarded the greenhouse, you notice the tall iron gate wide open. A stone path that seemed very inviting almost like the yellow brick road, looking around and peering into the garden you notice that there is no one around, just as you're about to leave and carry on your day a small whisper of your name catches your attention.
“Hello?” you say as you take a small step into the garden, walking over the threshold you feel a soft wind swirl around you intoxicating you with a sweet smell of flowers. Gently pushing open one of the glass doors of the green house you are amazed at how beautiful this place was.
Hand carved stone path that had swirls of patterns made by different colour stones, hues of green from the shrubbery as well as splashes of pink, red and purple, walking around this wonderland of perfect plants there is a fountain in the middle, the bottom is a pond while the other tiers of the fountain are consumed by lavender and soft pink carnation flowers.
Captured in its beauty you knew this was trespassing on someone's land as well as home, looking around one last time you hear some soft talking as well as clinking of glassware. Timidly you go in further to investigate, peering over one of the large bushes of a flower you never seen before, there was a boy wearing a white flowy shirt and beige pants his dark hair contrasting with the vibrant colours around him as he looks at some light purple substance in a test tube. As well as other glassware with more unusual substances in them.
To be oblivious you did not feel the new body that was standing next to you. “Can I help you miss?” a soft voice spoke, making you gasp and jump back nearly falling into a bush.
“I - I am so sorry” you speak as you try to compose yourself.
“Sorry for what?” he speaks again but this time it’s not the flowers that are holding the beauty, another dark haired boy, wearing a pastel rose shirt, matching pants. His features look like they were blessed from heaven.
“I’m trespassing...I’m sorry, I walk past here everyday and your flowers always look so beautiful anyway I should really go” in a flustered state you go to walk past him but he gently grabs your wrist.
“Miss please stay, no one said you were trespassing and if you like the garden so much feel free to look around i’m sure the other boys won’t mind” he spoke giving you a smile that melted your heart.
“Other boys?” you mumble, as this mysterious guy leads you up some stone steps into another part of the green house, this time it looks more like a conservatory.
Inside the flowers and plants still follow as the floral pattern on the furniture matches the plants consuming the walls. “I didn’t get your name?” he asks you.
“Y/n my name is Y/n and yours?” you ask him as he takes your hand gently kissing the back of your hand.
“Cha Eunwoo nice to meet you Y/n. would you like to meet the other boys?” Eunwoo asks as your face is probably as read as the rose bush next to you, giving him a slow nod.
Turning the corner you see a boy similar to Eunwoo but he has pink hair, wearing the same colour clothing. He looks peaceful with his eyes closed, that is until you approach his eyes gently open to reveal bright blue eyes.
“Cha Eunwoo who’s your friend” he speaks giving you slight shivers as his cat shaped eyes look fondly at you.
“This is y/n and she was admiring the garden we have” Eunwoo spoke “Y/n meet Moonbin” you give him a small wave as he lounged on the floral sofa they have giving you a smirk.
You felt Eunwoo gently grab your elbow as he led out of back into the main garden area, taking in more of the unusual plant life, the soft lighting made everything look like a dream from Eunwoo pastel coloured shirt that flowed as he walked, and also his dreamy looks.
Eunwoo took you to another part of the greenhouse tucked into the corner was iron railings that went up and over into a curve creating a cosy hiding place filled to the brim of a rose wall, in the middle was a table with beautifully designed glassware. But sitting at the table was another boy, he looked younger, he had a cuteness to him. Watching him intently he held something in his hands, to your curiosity yourself and Eunwoo walked in.
“Sanha, this is Y/n she came to admire our beautiful garden” Eunwoo spoke as Sanha placed a goldfish into a cup of water, you wanted to question his choice but decided not to, Sanha looked up at you and smiled.
“Hai! I’m Sanha, thank you for liking our garden” his smile is bright as you smile back. Before you get a chance to ask him anything you hear someone coming up behind you and Eunwoo.
“Eunwoo, Sanha and friend I’m Mj nice to meet you” Mj says brightly as his smile has an effect on you, making you feel warm and happy inside. Enwoo gives a small wave, “what are you doing Mj?” Eunwoo asks Mj as he holds up the basket filled with lemons.
“I was going to make some fresh lemonade, have you seen Rocky yet I need to ask him a few things.”
Eunwoo plucked a pink flower from one of the bushes nearby as he twisted it between his fingers, giving a sigh “No I haven’t seen him but I assume he is with Jinjin.” You looked at his side profile and was still in awe by his features, you still believed that this was a dream, how have you walked into this mystical place with the most handsomest people, it was definitely a fairytale dream.
“Y/n I think you meet the other two” Eunwoo speaks softly, again gently grabbing your elbow “I think I saw one of the others, he had dark hair and was doing some chemistry?” You question as Eunwoo gives a small smile, “Ah yes that would be Rocky he is our Botanist” you must’ve given Eunwoo a puzzled look as he let out a small breathy laugh, “Botanist is someone who studies plants and experiments with them, Come I will show you” being led off to the other side of the green house near to where you first saw Rocky, hearing the clinking of glassware, the small sound of something bubbling over and the delicate smell of flowers hung in the air.
You had a sense of déjà vu when you saw Rocky again but now you knew his name, you stood behind Eunwoo timidly peeking from behind him, Rocky looked so intently on the glass beaker that had purple liquid in it, swirling it around, “Rocky, are you busy?” Eunwoo spoke as Rocky glanced over, slowly placing down the beaker, his face held little emotion, his eyes flickered over to you, studying you as you slowly slipped out from behind Eunwoo’s shadow.
“No I’m not busy” his voice was calm, “who is the guest?” he questioned; Eunwoo placed a hand on your shoulder pushing you forward “Rocky meet Y/n” you gave a small wave feeling somewhat of an intimidation from Rocky as he gave a small nod of the head. “Not much of a talker” you mumbled. “I’d rather observe” he replied, you clenched your jaw, casting your eyes away from his not wanting to feel intimidated.
The room was silent for a moment as a new voice came out of nowhere, “I wouldn’t take it too personally Rocky isn’t much of a talker” the voice was slow, you spun around to see a guy with pink hair sitting up in a tree, reading a book. “You must be Jinjin'' you blurted as he gave a smile “how do you know?” he asked again with a smirk growing on his face, “I just guessed and you're the last one I haven’t met yet” you replied seeing Jinjin’s eyes light up, jumping down from the tree you noticed that he was slightly shorter than his other friends. “Well now that you have why don’t you stay for dinner?” Jinjin proposed kindly taking your hand, you glanced down at your now entwined hands and you felt a blush slowly pink your cheeks.
“I, well I should really be going I was only stopping by-” “it's already noon”  Eunwoo spoke over you as your eyes widened, looking down at the watch on your wrist it read 2:30pm, realisation started to catch up with you as it was only morning when you first wondered in and you was only having a quick glance, with all these thoughts building, you became overwhelmed and then
You blacked out.
                                                           --
Your eyes slowly opened, everything was bright, when they adjusted you was in a white room with vines climbing the walls as they were decorated with pink flowers of various shades, you was laying on a big bed, lifting your head up looking around the minimal room, your eyes landed on a figure sitting in a bathtub in the corner of the room. Confused was an understatement, sitting up in the bed you soon realised that it was Moonbin sitting in the bathtub, you watched him slip under the water. Panic set in as you jumped out of the bed and over to the tub to see him under and the water filled with flower petals, just as you went to grab him his eyes opened and he broke the surface.
“Moonbin!” you panicked, held his head down low watching the water roll off his body “you never seen someone take a bath before?” he questioned, glancing up at you with his cat eyes, “you take baths in your clothes” you deadpanned watching him break out into a laugh. “Hahaha...no maybe I should take my shirt off,” he began to unbutton his shirt, squirming as you placed your hands over your eyes, “NO! No no keep the shirt on I will find you a new one- a dry one!”  running out of the room and down the corridor you soon noticed that you don’t know where you are going and that the walls were glass with unusual flowers behind them.
“Oh Y/n your up” a voice behind you as you whipped around and saw it was Mj “oh MJ hi..i’m a little lost” you spoke as Mj broke out his beaming smile, “no worries Y/n I will help, did Moonbin wake you?” he asked “Erm..yea but does he normally take baths in this clothes?” you questioned. Mj shook his head and sighed “I need to remind him to stop doing that, the others are in the downstairs if you wanted to be with them” you nodded as then being escorted towards the room where the rest of them were. Coming down a spiraling staircase, into a grand foyer with a large chandelier hanging in the centre of the dome ceiling, that was framed by four pillars. Going through a large grey door you see the rest of the boys lounging on sofas, the first to your surprise was Rocky who spoke first.
“Y/n how are you?” as he flashed a smile, that made you melt on the inside, trying to form words you stood there looking like a fish with your bobbing mouth, Sanha giggled “looks like she fell under the rocky swag spell” Eunwoo playfully punched Sanha in the arm making him squeak.
“I’m fine thank you Rocky” you replied as his smile grew and he nodded, satisfied with your answer.
“Y/n we hope you’re feeling better, we’d hate for you to be ill” Eunwoo spoke as he gestured to the seat beside him. “I’m fine, really I think it’s because I forgot to eat” you explained as you now took a seat. It was comfortable sitting with them as the silence was soon broken by Mj and Moonbin entering, your eyes widened as Moonbin came in shirtless, you squeaked as Eunwoo placed his hand over your eyes. “Moonbin not in front of the guest.”
Moonbin smirked as Mj handed him a shirt to slip on, conveniently he decided not to button it, as he sat across from you, Eunwoo removed his hand when he thought was clear, as you looked over to Moonbin, who bit his bottom lip and raised an eyebrow at you, looking like a gaping fish again, you just wanted the sofa to eat you up so he couldn’t see your blush.
“Y/n what was the real reason for you coming here today?” Jinjin spoke as you looked over to him sitting in a singular arm chair, you’d admit he looked like a king the way he held himself in the chair, not like the chill laid back guy from when you first met.
“Well I always walk past on my way to work and I see the beautiful flowers and it smells amazing and well...curiosity got the better of me” you shrugged as the boys all agreed,
“Well Y/n you're more than welcome to come back anytime” Mj said as he gave you another infectious smile. “Oh thank you guys it really means a lot, erm if you excuse me I must really get home” you said as you prepared to leave, Eunwoo got up to escort you out.
Walking back through the greenhouse it looked a lot different at night than it did in the day, now it was filled with fairy lights, the soft glow made it feel cosy, turning around to say goodbye to Eunwoo you noticed that all of them are there, you smiled “thank you guys for a lovely day and again the garden is beautiful.”
“Our pleasure Y/n” Jinjin said giving you a small smile and wave, you opened the gate to go taking one last glance behind you, they all waved and smiled.
And that you left the garden, Eunwoo looked up into the star filled sky, sighing,
 “Such a goodnight.”

running away means coming back
Anon: Moonbin x reader where reader is Jinjin’s younger sibling. Reader and Moonbin were dating behind Jinjin’s back, and when Jinjin finds out, he doesn’t approve of them so Moonbin and reader run away until years later when they return and Jinjin isn’t mad anymore.
*i slightly changed this request in order to make it gender neutral :)
Warnings: verbal fighting, a lil angsty at times, mentions of death and food
Word count: 2.7k
Tumblr media
In your bedroom, you quickly reach for your phone since you heard it vibrate. Noticing Moonbin’s name on the screen, you sprawl out on your bed and hurriedly open the message.
i’m coming over today ! with the rest of the boys so they can keep Jinwoo distracted ;)
You hear a knock on the door, so you quickly toss your phone away before Jinjin steps into your room.
“Hey, [y/n], my friends are coming over today so don’t be too annoying, okay?” he says, a serious look on his face. You know he’s joking, though.
“I know!” you say, burying your head in your pillow.
“You knew that my friends were coming or you knew to not be annoying?” Jinjin asks, teasing you.
You groan in response.
“Anyway, just thought I should let you know,” he says, closing your door behind him as he leaves.
An hour later, the doorbell rings, and you jump out of bed but immediately stop yourself. If you run to the front door now, Jinjin will definitely get suspicious. You’ve been dating his friend, Moonbin, in secret for a few months now. Jinjin will definitely not approve, so you’ve had to hide it.
You tap your feet, trying so hard to hold back from rushing to see your boyfriend.
You text Moonbin:
Binnie, when will I be able to see you T-T will u come to my room?
i can’t come there right away, or else Jinwoo will know :(( i’ll be there soon, my dear, just wait <3
You can hear the boys entering the living room. Their shouts and yells echo through the house. To keep yourself distracted, you put on some earphones and watch something on your phone instead.
Downstairs, Moonbin is ready to execute his plan.
“I’m just going to go to the washroom, okay?” Moonbin says, getting up from the couch.
“Yeah, yeah,” Jinjin says, focused on the game he’s playing with Sanha.
Moonbin quietly runs upstairs and Jinjin is too distracted to ask him why he isn’t using the washroom downstairs.
Your earphones are so loud that you don’t hear Moonbin knock, so he quietly enters your room anyway. You don’t notice his presence until he leans down and kisses the top of your head.
“I’m here!” he whispers, grinning and stretching out his arms.
You pull out your earphones and smile back at him, pulling him into a hug.
“You don’t even understand how much I missed you. Jinwoo is so overprotective and I’m so bad at lying, so every time we try to meet up outside he asks me who I’m meeting and I can’t say it’s you but I also can’t lie-”
Moonbin presses his lips against yours.
“It’s okay,” he says after he pulls away, pressing his forehead against yours. He gently strokes your hair.
“I’m just glad to see you. What have you been up to these days?” Moonbin gets up from the chair that he was sitting on to sit next to you on the bed. He tightly holds your hand as you begin to speak.
Downstairs, Jinjin beat Sanha in the game they were playing. He pumps his fist in the air, yelling happily.
“You cheated!” Sanha says, hitting Jinjin with a pillow.
“You were the one who was cheating and I still won!” Jinjin says, also hitting Sanha with a pillow.
After they calm down, Jinjin notices that someone is missing.
“Where did Moonbin go?” he asks.
The rest of the boys try to hide their panicked faces. They’re aware of the fact that you’re dating Moonbin, so they know that he went upstairs to see you.
“The washroom, remember?” MJ says.
“It’s been fifteen minutes, is he constipated or something?” Jinjin laughs. “Maybe we should check on him.”
He gets up to walk to the washroom, but MJ stops him.
“Hey, let’s not. We don’t wanna embarrass him,” MJ says.
“What do you mean ‘embarrass’? We’re all friends here...”
Behind them, Eunwoo is frantically texting Moonbin.
Come downstairs, now!
Something vibrates by his foot and he picks it up. Moonbin’s phone. He left it behind.
“Hey, can I go upstairs? I wanna see your room,” Eunwoo says, making up an excuse so he can drag Moonbin back downstairs.
“That’s a good idea, let’s all go! There’s something new I bought and I want to show you-”
“No, just bring it downstairs!” MJ shouts.
“Why are you yelling?” Jinjin asks, laughing. “It’s too heavy for me to bring it downstairs, let’s go.”
As he starts to walk up, the rest of the boys are forced to follow him. Sanha tries to go to your room to he can warn you, but Jinjin makes sure everyone is in his room first before he himself enters.
There’s no escape.
Back in your room, Moonbin is making you laugh so hard you feel like your lungs are about to burst. He imitated the way Jinwoo always scolds you.
“You’re so right, Jinwoo always does that!” you laugh, clutching your side.
“Why is [y/n] laughing so loud?” Jinjin asks from his own room. It’s right across from yours down the hallway.
“They must be watching some funny videos or something,” Rocky says, nervously laughing.
“No, they never laugh that hard from a video. Let me go check-”
“No, I’ll go check!” Sanha says, holding Jinjin back.
“Why are you all being suspicious today? Just let me go!” Jinjin pushes Sanha aside and storms towards your room. The boys all run after him, but it’s too late.
He’s opened your door.
And there you are, cuddling against Moonbin’s chest while his lips are pressed to your temple.
“Moon...bin? [y/n]? What... what are you guys doing?” Jinjin asks, flustered.
Everyone tries to think of an excuse, but there’s no way they can cover this up.
“You’re... you two are dating?” Jinjin asks, the pitch of his voice rising. He’s angry.
“Moonbin, what the hell? What are you doing with my sibling? I thought I trusted you!” He runs towards Moonbin, but you throw yourself on top of your boyfriend, leaving no room for Jinjin to hurt him.
“Jinwoo, stop! It’s not a big deal!” you say.
“Not a big deal? Are you kidding me right now? How long has this been going on?”
Eunwoo and Rocky pull Jinjin out of the room, and Moonbin gets up to leave.
“Where are you going?” you ask him.
“I think your brother is really mad at me right now. I shouldn’t stay here any longer.”
“Wait!” you say, holding onto his arm. “I’ll come with you.”
The two of you end up in Moonbin’s red car, driving away.
“I don’t think I can ever face my brother again,” you say.
“Me neither,” Moonbin responds, tightly gripping the steering wheel. “Maybe it’s best if we just don’t see him for a few days.”
You nod.
Somehow, that was the start of you running away with Moonbin, not for just a few days, but for three whole years. The two of you drove silently without any specific direction and found yourselves in a quiet village. That was the place that you decided to call home.
A short, creaky metal gate opens up to a small field of grass and overflowing trees, plants and flowers. Past the green mess stands a small, grey home.
Your home.
You spent three years in that place with Moonbin, selling to the market whatever your small plot of land could grow. The two of you were known as the mysterious, young couple, and no one knew where you had came from.
You never told them.
To this day, you’re still scared of going back. Jinjin’s face on the day you left, the anger, it all scared you. He’s your brother and you love him. You don’t ever want him to be mad at you.
Sometimes, you ask Moonbin if he regrets running away. Each time you ask him, he takes your hands in his, pressing his lips to the back of your hands one by one before saying, “this was all meant to happen for a reason. I’m living my best life here with you.”
Yet you can’t help but notice the times he’s cried at night, sobbing silently. You can’t help but notice him talk in his sleep, murmuring his friends’ names.
Running from Jinjin meant that you had to cut ties with his friends, too, and that was the hardest on Moonbin. Yet he always smiles brightly at you and hugs you. He tells you that he’s okay, that he doesn’t need to go back.
He would always work in the shed behind your house, making something. He never told you what it was, so you never asked, but one day when you stepped inside to clean up, you noticed that amidst the tools, there was a shiny ring.
“What are you doing in here?” Moonbin asked, giving you a back hug.
“Cleaning up. What’s that ring for?”
“You’ll see one day.” Moonbin pressed a kiss to your cheek.
Despite how much you’ve enjoyed being in Moonbin’s presence for every hour of every day, cooking and eating meals together, walking to the market together, spending hours on end doing nothing but burying your face in his chest and smelling his natural scent, it’s time to go back, now. You need to come back to reality.
Moonbin has sacrificed so much for you, and you think that three years is enough for Jinjin to have forgotten about his anger.
So finally, you and Moonbin pack up.
A few friends from the village help the two of you.
“So will you finally tell us where you’re from and where you’re going?” one of them asks.
Moonbin chuckles, and it’s enough to make your spine tingle and your stomach do backflips from the butterflies.
“I think it’s best if we just stay as we are,” he says.
Once most of the packing is done, your friends leave, and it’s just you and Moonbin again. He pulls you into a hug, resting his chin on your shoulder.
“These three years felt like a dream,” he says. “I felt like I was in a movie... running away with the person of my dreams? This only happens in movies.”
“But now we’re gonna go back and you can see your friends!” you say, feeling excited.
Suddenly, Moonbin pulls away from you. His hands rest on your shoulders and he looks into your eyes.
“Are you sure you’re ready to go back?” he asks you, his eyebrows knitted together. The white shirt he’s wearing sticks to his arms and chest, showing his defined muscles.
“I’m sure,” you say, and Moonbin hugs you once again.
“I’ll be with you, okay? I’ll do anything I have to do to get Jinjin to agree-”
“Don’t worry,” you say. “He’s my brother. I know how to get him on my side. Maybe I should have just talked to him back then, but things turned out like this. We should go back now, sooner than later.”
Moonbin smiles and nods. He’s proud of your growth.
You used to be afraid of Jinjin, despite how close the two of you were. Because of how overprotective he was, you were always afraid of crossing the line. Moonbin showed you that no lines ever even existed. He showed you that Jinjin wasn’t always right, and that you should be free to do what makes you happy.
Even just two years ago, you were still scared of your brother. But now, you were ready to face him, and instead of apologizing, you were ready to just have a conversation with him.
Deciding that you wanted to move out in the early morning, you and Moonbin went to bed early. He held you close to him for the entire night, his hands rubbing circles on your back.
“[y/n],” he whispered into your ear. “I love you.”
The next morning, you put your few belongings into the same red car that Moonbin still has and drive down the same dirt road, onto the highway towards your hometown. The sky is blue without a single cloud, and you take it to be a sign of good luck.
The bright sun leaks in through your window at some point, and you close your eyes so you can soak it up and feel it on your skin.
Moonbin’s free hand reaches out for yours, and when he finds it, he tightly holds it.
“We’re going hoooome!” he sings softly. You roll down the window and yell the same words he said out into the wind. Moonbin laughs and squeezes your hand tightly.
-
Your heart races as Moonbin enters the driveway of your home, parking behind your parents’ car. He turns off the engine and looks at you with warm eyes.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” he asks.
When you nod, he quickly leans forward to give you a kiss, but it feels more like he’s passing on his courage and strength to you. The brushing of his soft lips against yours is enough to make you feel ten times better.
You both climb out of the car at the same time, planting your feet onto the gravel of the driveway. Moonbin quickly scurries over to you and holds your hand before you both walk up to the front door.
Taking a deep breath, you ring the doorbell.
Waiting for a few moments, you wonder if Jinjin is home.
The door swings open, and speak of the devil: there he is. His hair is tousled and he’s got one hand in a bag of chips.
The chips drop to the ground.
“[y/n]?” Jinjin’s jaw drops.
He reaches out to touch your face, trying to make sure you’re real. Then he gives in and just hugs you. He squeezes you so tightly that you feel like you’re about to burst.
“[y/n] it’s really you? Where have you been?”
He pulls away and holds your face in his hands.
“You look okay, have you been eating well? What have you been up to? Why didn’t you answer my calls? Why were you gone for three years?”
Suddenly, the poor boy starts to tear up, and you reach out to hug him again.
“Why would you just leave like that? Do you know what we went through? The boys didn’t let me report you as missing, so I thought you were dead...”
“Jinwoo I’m so sorry,” you say.
You should have came back sooner. You wish you had came back sooner, but you’re glad you didn’t come any later.
You decide to address another important issue.
“Jinwoo, Binnie is here too,” you say, softly. Jinjin immediately pulls away from your embrace and stares coldly to your left, where Moonbin stands. Then, he starts crying again and hugs Moonbin.
“Bin, I can’t believe you just left me too! Without a single word, how could you? Do you know how much I missed you? Do you know how worried I was? What the hell were the two of you even up to?”
“I’m sorry, hyung. It was hard to come back. We tried, but it was hard.”
“It was harder for me,” Jinjin says.
He lets the two of you in, and you awkwardly sit side by side on the couch.
Does this mean Jinjin isn’t mad at me for dating Moonbin?
Jinjin brings you both water before he also sits down.
“You know, you didn’t need to run away that day. I was never mad at you,” Jinjin explains.
“What?!” you exclaim. It’s shocking to you, to think that Jinjin, the overprotective brother, was never mad at you.
“It was shocking, yes. It was weird, absolutely. But I just needed time to process things, that’s all. Of course I wasn’t going to be glad that my brother was dating my sibling, but that doesn’t mean I hated the two of you. I needed time, but not three years! A few days would have been fine.”
“Well with that said,” Moonbin says, getting off the couch and sitting on the ground, one knee raised and one pressed to the ground.
You look at Jinjin who gives you a smile.
Moonbin pulls something out of his pocket and presents it to you. It’s a ring, the same ring you saw him working on in the shed every day for the past three years.
“Do you wanna marry me then, [y/n]? We have your brother’s approval,” he says, smiling brightly like a puppy.
Lost for words, all you can do is hug him.
“Okay, okay, we get it!”Jinjin whines as both of you start to tear up.
But he also makes sure to say “congratulations” before he lets the two of you be.

“You’re leaving already?” His members asked as he closed the door of your room. “Um... She said she wants some time alone.” He said, not looking at his members as the leaned over to his face, feeling suspicion. “Did something happen... between you and Y/N?” Jeonghan asked, eyeing his members. “Huh? Oh no. I’m going to head back to the dorms first. I’m a little tired from waking up early.” He started walking before Minghao got a grip of his arm. Wonwoo look at his, a little bitter before he removes his grip and walked down the hall. “Let me check on her.” Minghao said before lightly knocking on your door. “Y/N? It’s me. Minghao.” He entered the room before he say you covered in the blankets, sniffing. He saw the containers stacked in front of your bed as it must be what Wonwoo brought over. Taking a seat beside he pulled the blanket down, revealing you tear bandaged appearance as it tore his heart. “Y/N...” His voice trailed off, not knowing what to say. “Sorry you have to see me like this.” You mumbled, struggling to sit up as Minghao helped you. He pulled out a couples of tissue paper before dabbing it on your face. “At a time like this is where I think you need someone beside you the most.” He whispered, fingers tracing the patched on your cheeks, feeling himself shedding a tear. “You really are something you know?” you felt yourself leaning in to his hand as it rested on the side of your face. “I don’t think anyone has the ability to do what you did. You must be immortal or something.” He chuckled as you let out a laugh before wincing in pain from your cheeks, having him to apologize in the end. “I don’t know if I’m suppose to feel happy or disappointed in myself.” You spoke, looking down at your hands before Minghao intertwined them with his. “Y/N, I know you’re undergoing many emotions right now, and that can confusing and frustrating but if anything, you should feel proud. Proud that you were able to get through the end of the performance. Proud that you’re surrounded with people who care about you.” You looked up, feeling the urge to cry once again.  “Thanks Minghao.” he gently pulled you into his embrace, feeling his warmth and his scent, making you at ease. “Now, what did the doctor say?” “I have some fractures and bruises, and that recover time will be a couple of months. So I guess I’ll be useless to everyone then.” You spoke dully as Minghao lifted your chin to face him. “Don’t you ever call yourself useless. No matter what state you’re in. You are going to get through this couple of months, building and healing. And you will come back stronger than ever. Everyone will be supporting you.” He looked straight into your eyes, as you pouted, feeling tears fall once again before giving him a nod. He wiped away the tear with his thumb, giving you a light pat in the head. “Can the other members come in? They’ve been wanting to visit you since yesterday.” You smile and nodded before he got up and opened the door as the boys flew in along with the surprise of your members. Everyone was surrounding you with bittersweet smiles, giving you encouragement and endless love. But it felt empty, that Wonwoo wasn’t there.
---
It’s been 8 months since the incident and fortunate for you, you were recovering faster than expected. Your members would visit regularly, sending you your favourite foods with every visit. The boys would pop in here and there, sending in some goodies and well but ever since the argument with Wonwoo, you haven’t seen him since then.
-Flashback-
“Hyung? Can I come in?” Minghao peeked into Wonwoo’s room as he was doing something on his computer. “Yeah sure, what’s up?” Minghao sat on his bed as Wonwoo turned his chair to face him. “What’s wrong with you and Y/N? Did something happen? You haven’t paid her a visit in a while.” Wonwoo remained silent. “Did you get into an argument with her?” “I didn’t mean to. I was only trying to comfort her.” He admitted lowly. “What happened?” “She told me she didn’t hear about the stage problem and that I told her to ask again.” “And?” “And then she said that every time she asked, her answer would get cut off so I told her to keep asking.”
“And?” “And then I guess she started getting mad and I tried to calm her down but I guess I ended up hurting her feelings with me raising my voice. She just told me to leave in the end.” Wonwoo’s voice was gloomy, as he felt hurt in the situation as well. “She’s just been going through a lot. With her mixed emotions, stress and full being bottled up inside, I guess she just exploded.” Minghao tried explaining as Wonwoo calmly listened. “Are you going to pay her a visit soon?” “I don’t think she wants to see me.” “That’s arguable. Every time we visit, her eyes would linger at the door after we all enter. I’m pretty sure she was waiting for you to walk through that door.” He tried to encourage his hopeless member. “...How’s she doing?” “She’s recovering faster than everyone expected. The doctors and nurses were even surprised how her progress. They might even say that she can leave soon.” Wonwoo felt relieved as he let out a sigh. “Maybe I’ll pay her a visit. I owe her an apologize.” Wonwoo mumbled.
-End-
The bandages you wore lessen as you only still had them on your ankles, knees and wrist with a few patches on your cheeks and jaw. Your strength was regained though it wasn’t fully enough for you to get back into dancing, you felt happy that you were finally able to do daily tasks without struggling too much. As you backed the last bits in your hospital room, a knock was heard on the door.
“Come in!” The door opened as you waited for someone to enter. Moonbin jumped in, with a huge smile plastered on his face. “Y/N!” “Moonbin!” You were so happy to see him. You haven’t seen him since the first few weeks after your fall, since it might be too risky to visit. But after the long await, he finally got the chance to see you. “Look at you! Almost good as new!” He helped you pack as you let out a chuckle. “Thanks Bin. I don’t think I had to properly thank you for the stage collaboration.” “That was months already!” “But I feel like I should still repay you in return.” “If you insist, how about dinner together? It hasn’t happened since your last practice.” he suggested, suddenly feeling shy. “I’d love to.” You replied as he smiled brightly at your answer. “How about this weekend? Is that doable for you?” You and Moonbin ended up agreeing to meet up for dinner in the upcoming weekend, feeling excitement that your life was finally getting back to normal. Moonbin’s manager was kind enough to drive you back to your dorm as you bid them goodbye before the drove away in a distance. You dragged your luggage up towards the stairwell of your dorm but came to a stop, knowing that you can’t help it up the stairs when your door flew opened and your members practically jumped down the stairs to pull you into a group hug.
“Ah, I missed my bed so much!” You chimed as you sat your bed. “Isn’t the VIP bed even better though?” Nari chuckled as she brought in your luggage. You stood up from you bed before kneeling down slowly, careful to not put too much pressure on your knees. Your tried lifting your luggage open when you felt your wrist loose their strength. “Here, let me help. Don’t force yourself to do anything alright? It’s amazing how much you’ve gotten better but you’re not completely healed. We and the fans need you entirely healed so that you can get back on your schedules.” Nari smiled as your helped you. “I miss everyone.” You spoke as she looked up and with warm smile. “Well one thing I can definitely say is the fans has been more supportive than ever. Our manager didn’t want you to know about this yet but you’ve been invited on so may shows! He said he’ll let you know about it once you get better, knowing how excited and restless you’ll get.” Nari shared the good news as you felt delighted. “How about you guys?” “We’re only a little break as well, focusing on our own individual projects and schedules. But without you here feels so different. We’ve all missed your cooking and baking.” The both of you shared laughter as you unpacked you things.
---
A few week passed, as you thought that you’ll find yourself being more useful but instead, you felt yourself being more hopeless than when you were at the hospital. From the moment you got up from bed to when you fell back asleep, your members just never seem to leave you side. You were grateful for their endless help but you wanted to try doing things on your own. At least you’ll know for sure that you’re getting better yourself. The only time you were left alone, was when your members left for practice or schedules but only then, you felt emptiness as all you members carried on to promoting your group and themselves as you were left alone. You woke up feeling thirsty as you got up, looking over at Nari who was still fast asleep. Creeping out of your shared room you headed to the kitchen. You opened on to the top cabinets to get a cup when you tippy toed and reached your hand out. You let out a groan, struggling to reach due to your height. “Gosh, why does my schedule have to be so earl- Y/N WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Yun Hee yawned before loudly whispering, running to assist you as you turned around and let out a laugh “I wanted I glass of water.” You said as she pour you a glass of water. “At least let one of us know!” She lightly scolded you “It’s fine. I could’ve done it myself.” She looked at you, hinting worry. “C’mon. It’s been 8 months now, I’m almost fully recovered.” You wriggle and twirled your wrist and ankles, showing them that they were completely fine. “Still. The doctor said that you should stay away from lifting anything heavy or strenuous movements.” “Are you calling me that weak that I can’t even get myself a glass of water?” you pouted, playing with her. “We just want you to recover as soon as possible.” you nodded, knowing that they only mean well.
The rest of the members slowly got up one by one, before heading to for the own personal schedules. You were left alone once again, as you sat on the couch, staring blankly at the colourless TV screen for god knows how long. You turned on your phone, finger hovering our Wonwoo’s contact of the call button. You’ve been feeling guilty since snapping at him when last visited you 8 months ago. Just as your finger hovered closer to the button, your phone started vibrating as you tossed it to the side of the couch, your heart almost jumping out of your chest. You peeked over at the caller ID before letting out a relieved sigh. “Hello? Mrs. Bosa?” “Y/N! Gosh, I missed your voice. How are you going sweetie?” “I’m going much better, thanks for checking up on me. How’s you and Mr. Bosa doing along with the business?” You questioned, crossing your legs on the couch. “Both of us missed your so very much. We apologize for not checking up on you earlier. We just couldn’t find the right time to call in and all. Business has been doing well as usual, thanks to Wonwoo who’s been helping out greatly lately but we’ve been getting fans who would come, particularly asking about you.” you heard her light chuckles on the other line. “Is that so? I’ve been discharged from the hospital a few weeks ago from recover. Is there anything I can help with?” “We’ve hesitated on calling you about this since we know you’re not fully recovered yet but is it possible for you to come in to work today? We have to head out on a one-day business trip to pick up some supplies and ingredients for some new updates to our cafe. Luckily, today is a lot more calmer, so there won’t be much customers. We’ll also call Wonwoo to see-” “No no it’s no worry! I’m almost healed so I’d love to help! I should be able to handle it on my own so there’s no need to call Wonwoo in!” You cut her off, finally getting an opportunity to do something instead of staring into space. “You’re a lifesaver! I’ll see you in an hour then!” she hung up the phone as you hopped up before heading to your room to change and get ready, “I shouldn’t call my manager or else I wouldn’t hear the end of it.” you mumbled to yourself as you tied your hair up into a updo, suddenly feeling a prick in your wrist, making you finch. You looked at your hand, as it lightly trembled, rejecting negative thoughts. You put on a little make up today since it was first time out in public since your recovery. You pressed your lips together, to spread the lip tint evenly before checking yourself in the mirror and heading out into the taxi. You thank the taxi driver as you paid and got off, before turning to face your favourite cafe. You could already smell the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, taking in a deep breathe before opening the doors of the cafe. “Welcome to Espresso Love Caf-” A low husky voice greeted you as you looked up and saw Wonwoo, who stopped midway, eyes widen in shock. The two of you didn’t say anything, as you remained froze, eyes still locked. You looked away as you walked behind the counter, feeling his eyes on your back. You walked back out, passing the kitchen as you saw Wonwoo reheating some bread. You stood back at the door, looking at his board back as he placed the bread into the oven before turning around, catching you staring at him back the door. You let out a cough, pretending to fix your apron before awkwardly heading out. A group of girls, in their early twenties came in looking lively.
“Welcome to Espresso Love Cafe!” You greeted them as the looked at you before going back to their conversation. You helped them place their order as Wonwoo started making their drinks. “I’ll handle the drinks. You can serve them the desserts.” You turned around to the coffee machine, reaching a head over in front of him to get a cup as he looked at your bandaged wrist. He paused and stared at it for a few seconds before heading to serve the desserts. You heard the couple of females giggle as Wonwoo approached them as you dosed the ground coffee into the portafilter. You took the tamper and to press down on the ground coffee. As you put pressure and twisted the tamper, you felt pins-in-needles spreading around your first, making you let out of a low grunt as you scrunched your face in pain. “Are you okay?” You head his voice, making you jolt. “Yeah, I’m fine.” You quickly replied as you continued as if nothing happened. You placed the drinks onto a tray before lifting it, feeling the tingling sensation once again. As you walked over the to group of customers, they glanced over at you, before doing a double take without surprised expressions.
“Here are your drinks.” You placed them onto the toasters feeling their stares at you. “Are you Y/N from Eunoia?” They asked, you stood back up, nodding your reply. “How are you feeling? After you feeling better?” They all started asked questions. “I’m feeling a lot better.” “We’ve missed you so much ever since the awards ceremony! Your special stage as well as your group performance, wow you look so cool in both of them. We truly admire you professionalism on how you dealt with the incident.” They all complimented as you placed your hands to covered your blushing cheeks. “That means a lot to me.” You bowed and smiled genuinely, as the females’ eyes glowed. “Say, I heard there’s even a new fandom.” You tilted your head at their smirks. “A new ship fandom of you and Moonbin ever since your stage together. The both of you look so well fitted for each other!” They all spoke as your smiled dropped into a ‘oh’ “Ah, is that so? Moonbin and I are close friends.” You nervously smiled as the girls all looked over at each other with mysterious looks before looking back at you with a not-so-convincing smile.
“Either way, it must be our lucky day that we got to see you and Wonwoo together today!” Your eyebrow raised as your glanced back, as Wonwoo stopped with wiping the counters before looking over at your direction. “We must admit though, we find that you and Wonwoo a way better pair together.” They shyly chuckled as you stood there in shock. “We’ve visited this cafe multiple times now and we’ve always seen the two of you working together which is so adorable. We even have photos to prove it.” Your eyes widen as they scrolled through the endless pictures of you and Wonwoo. You tried hiding the smile that was forming on your face as you saw some where they both of you and Wonwoo were smiling down on each together as if the two of you were meant to be. “That’s quite a few you have there.” You awkwardly laughed trying to slip out of their conversation “But you have to admit, Wonwoo is a really handsome guy, no? Tell us you haven’t fell for his smile or just him at least one.” They all leaned forward towards you, anticipating your answer. “U-Um.. He’s-” “Sorry ladies but I’m going to have to take Y/N away from your guys for a moment.” You felt a hand on your shoulders as you looked over and saw Wonwoo smiling softly at the girls who were completely stunned before they giggling and smirked. “Of course, she’s yours afterall.” You blanked out, blinking in confusion as Wonwoo pushed you to the back of the store with his hands still on your shoulders as the girls whipped out their phones to capture this sweet moment. “What are you doing?” he lets go as you turned to look at him. “It looked like you were caught into something that you weren’t comfortable in.” You face palmed, trying to hide your disappointment yet laughter from his attempt to help. “If anything, I think you just made things worst.” You sighed as he narrowed his brows. “You know what, nevermind. Thanks.” You said as you walked back to the front of the store as you glanced over at the girls who were chatting. They were about to leave when one of them came up to the counter. “Do you have any cup holders by any chance?’ Wonwoo opened the cabinets and brought down the last one before handing it to her. “Ah by any chance, could the both of you do us a small favour?” “Sure, what would it be?” You followed Wonwoo and the girl to the table, feeling a little weird. “Could we get a picture of the two of you together?” Wonwoo’s eyes slightly widen from their request. “Please?” They all pouted. Wonwoo turned back to glance at you as you stared at the floor. “Sure.” Your head shot up to see Wonwoo looked at you, waiting for you to stand beside him. You slowly stood beside as the girls shock their heads. “Stand closer! The camera can’t even capture the both of you in the shot.” One of the girls complained as Wonwoo let out a cough as you brushed your hair behind your ear, shifting closer to him until your shoulders brushed. “Perfect, 3,2,1!” You and Wonwoo smiled as you heard a numbers of shutters from their phones. You and Wonwoo bid them goodbye as they left the store before you left out a sigh, feeling tired.
“You’re tired just from that?” His voice sounded almost challenging. “Give me a break, this is first day since 8 months back in public and actually doing something aside from lying in bed, staring at the ceiling.” You glared at him before heading to the storage room to restock the cup holders as Wonwoo closed to shop.
