About LPR3
Here I am, able, at last, to write something about the so-waited final season of La Porta Rossa. What can I say? It was so long... I'd been waiting for ages and then, the end has come. On Wednesday, all the mysteries (I hope) will be unveiled and I can't wait for that moment to come. On another side, I love this series so much, so thinking that there won't be anything else... well... it makes me so sad. By now, even season 3 doesn't disappoint.
For starters, LPR is the story of police commissioner Leonardo Cagliostro who was KIA but was unable to cross the door (la porta rossa=the red door) which separates the world of the living from the other side. Leo chooses willingly to stay among the living because of a vision (at the end of season two he understands that those precognitions can be dangerous) in which his pregnant wife is about to be killed. Also, the first season is about his (and his former colleagues) investigation in order to find the real culprit of his murder and the mastermind behind the events.
The second season was a roller-coaster because, while Leo's powers increase, new enemies, a new case, and especially, the revelation of both Leo's past and his relationship with the culprits of the seasons, gave life to a very complex and well-written drama. The season finale was amazing too: Leo, who was ready to fulfill his promise to Anna and little Vanessa (their newborn daughter), was about to cross the red door after paying his farewell to them and to the elder Vanessa (the medium girl who helped him in both seasons) but, unexpectedly, Vanessa keeps him in the living realm by using compulsion: the season ends with Leo unable to go and the mystery revolves around his bond with Vanessa, telling us he was her shadow.
Now, three years time skip: Leo is still wandering in the living realm, keeping an eye on his family, his bad tantrum showing to the point of deciding to not speak a word anymore (even though he has the loving habit of telling his sleeping daughter stories of his past as a cop), but more of all, he doesn't want to see Vanessa because he firmly hates her for compelling him to stay. Moreover, while everybody goes on with their lives, Anna, who was supposed to overcome the loss of her husband, still thinks of him, to the point of keeping the bullet that almost killed Leo during his first investigation as a necklace pendant and being unable to truly moving on with other relationships. Leo, on his part, even if he feels some kind of betrayal, reluctantly encourages her to find love again. Also, this time, things got more and more complicated for everybody: a new threat coming from a rebellion in the city, a mysterious blackout during the night, and a fire started in the power plant, Vanessa's mother (who was the one who tried to convince Leo to help her daughter who, in the meantime, was a student of Para-Psychology) killed in a car accident during the same night.
What we know is that Vanessa learns how to control Leo, summoning him independently from his will. It results in Leo losing control of himself and believing he's going crazy. Leo also has a vision in which he himself pushes Vanessa down from a high place which is revealed to be a hot-air balloon.
So, while their roads cross again, the Police (under Diego's guidance) investigate the disorders, finding unexpected relationships between criminality and politics (hello, we're in Italy, after all), while Anna, who was about to move to Siena with little Vanessa, decides to stay and to investigate on Vanessa's mother's death.
Where are we now? Well... while Leo, understanding that the moment in which he hurts Vanessa is coming, asks her to let him go, while Diego meets a temporary dead end during a tailing and Anna suddenly finds out the truth but... she's a victim of an explosion that leaves her apparently dead. Only, before dying (her status is unknown at the moment), she tears off her necklace and keeps Leo's bullet in her hand. Now... what I think is that this season is some kind of circle closure. Anna, during her parallel investigation, reads the documents about Leo's last investigation, which was about a dr*g that was poisoning to death youngsters in Trieste. This dr*g has been made stronger during this season, so I think that there must be some kind of link between the cases, as well as the fact that the bullet could be a hint. Now... Leo said, in a flashback from season two, that the bullet was from his very first investigation when he was a rookie and it almost caught his heart. I believe that it could be Anna's desperate way to help Diego (who was about to catch up with her) to figure things out, to connect the dots, and to understand that, probably, the answer lies in Leo's past.
Also, Leo's past and his bond with Vanessa, aka the million dollars question. The opening ends with the image of both of them: Leo in the shadows, Vanessa looking away from him. I thought (and read) several theories: the one I found more hilarious is that Vanessa the elder is the older version of little Vanessa. Both are able to see him (little Vanessa sees him in the mirror, telling Anna that "Daddy is in the mirror and he looks angry"). But unless the way of the time paradox is completely ignored... well, I don't think it's the case. I also thought that older Vanessa could be Leo's first daughter, but not only he didn't know about her, nor Vanessa's mother EVER mentioned something this big. Also, she dies without even looking at him while he was desperately calling for help... Sooooo... So, I believe that the answer is in the mysterious videotape that Vanessa and her aunt haven't watched yet. It should be about Vanessa's childhood if I'm not wrong, but neither of them was ready to watch it.
Also, Leo's flashbacks (I'm so glad that this season is showing us a LOT of flashbacks) show us that Leo used to live in a children's house (because he was abandoned at birth by his mother and Rambelli, his foster mentor, father-figure, and murderer, later) in Prosecco, a quartier of Trieste known for the homonym wine and a place inhabited by a lot of Slovenian people... and, if I'm not wrong, Vanessa's family used to live in the surroundings. Now, let's do the math: Leo was born in 1986 (yeah, the best year 😁) and he died in 2017, making him 31 yo. Vanessa was... I guess 17/18 at the beginning of the first season and now, she's 21/22 yo after the time skip (they're technically still in 2020, considering the timeline). She should be 2 years old when the fire at her house burnt everything. A flashback from last week's episode shows that Leo, at 17, had spent a lot of time in a hospital, recovering from an illness.
So... 2017 - 17 = 2000. 2017 - 16/17 (it depends on Vanessa's correct age) = 2001/2000. Now... I think that, or Leo helped somehow Vanessa's family during the fire (and, considering how reckless he was and is, maybe he got caught in gunfire), or he simply met young Vanessa during the time spent at the hospital and something occurred (a blood transfusion, a transplant, something that made them linked forever). I remember that the fire at Vanessa's house was started by a vindicative ghost who was Vanessa's mother's shadow and the same ghost implied something at the end of the first season but I'm too lazy to make a rewatch... what I think is that their connection could be more a "technical" one than a mystic coincidence...
Next week, all the answers will be given! I can't wait to see it... And also... I hope that Anna and Leo will get their happy ending, somehow... 😭😭😭😭😭

[ cw: violence mention / death mention / ]
Will never stop thinking about how Leo, all alone in an endless void and being beaten again and again and again by the only other living thing around, still finds comfort in that space. The situation he was in was completely hopeless, and in any other circumstances he would not have escaped, at least not fast enough to save him from permanent (or even fatal) damage, be it physical or mental.
And yet, despite the bleakness of his situation, despite the agony and helplessness, all he needs is one glance at a crumbled photograph, one glance to remember his family, and that’s enough of a reason for him to smile.
Maybe that’s why his powers center around manipulating space - because no matter how much space is between them, no matter how dire his own situation may be, just the thought of his family, alive and okay, is enough to give Leo hope.

can.. can I ask for an affectionate reader with characters who aren’t normally like… used to the love? like, not just through words but physical affection like hand-holding, kisses, hugs, all that shebang. probably with a few people like yelan, ei, basically any character that is either cut-off from society or seems socially distant or isolated. 😞

☆ affectionate reader with yelan, ei, & furina
[ 4.2 Archon Quest spoilers ]
× yelan
Varies between how you display your affection, to be honest. Just like being affectionate with people? She's cool with it as long as you don't pop by while she's working (mostly because she'll end up dragging you into it for a bit of fun). I don't think she's all that touchy feely herself, but she'll absolutely get you gifts instead– like pretty knick nacks? She'll make sure to snag any she thinks you might like. Like a good meal? Sure, she'll take you out to one of the restaurants in the city, doesn't matter how expensive. Her treat. If you do prefer physical gifts rather then being taken out, you'll eventually get used to the random unmarked letters and packages showing up where your staying pretty often. It's obvious to know who it came from even if she never signs anything.
Flirty reader, though? Whole nother can of worms and now it's a challenge. The more confident you are the more interested she is. The other acolytes would absolutely seethe at the idea but she has no hesitation at just straight up flirting back– she's as charismatic as they come and she's got a poker face that's basically impenetrable. She'll probably also make a bet to see who cracks first (she always wins, unsurprisingly). Probably won't get dragged into any of her schemes this way but if you ask politely maybe she'll consider it, anyway.
The smell of freshly brewed tea and the clatter of dice across wood was a common sight at the Yanshang Teahouse– less common was the woman secluded in the far corner, her lips pulled into a grin that flashed fangs and a look that would scare off the most confident of men.
She'd normally try to scope out any new blood that'd made the mistake of stepping into her teahouse and was equally stupid enough to accept a gamble against her just for the thrill of it, but she was far too absorbed in the warm body at her side, one of her die clasped tightly in their hand as she guided them through the motions– they had a knack for it, she had to admit. The thought made her preen, the clatter of the die as it rolled across the table giving her that subtle, familiar rush.
Even if she knew exactly where it'd land.
"Six. Hm, maybe you're just lucky," She muses, plucking the die from the table and holding it up to her eye like a prized jewel, "Or maybe you're not as innocent as you'd have us believe." There's a sharp glint in her eyes at the prospect, but everyone else has the sense to keep their heads down and their words to themselves as she tosses the die herself.
"So why don't we find out and make a bet, just between you and me?"
× ei
Varies between Ei and the Shogun, because you'll probably be seeing either as much as the other. Sometimes you gotta really squint to tell who it is sometimes, but you get used to it. Both are fairly similar, though, in that their first instinct (especially in public) is to tense up like you're about to attack them or something. Difference is Ei eventually relaxes after a solid minute of trying to process your sudden affection and, if no one else is around, she might even reciprocate. Just don't tease her for being a little stiff and awkward about it, she's trying. That's what happens when your only company is a robot and uh. Nothing. For like 500 years. She's trying. Raiden, on the other hand, is just about as awkward as you can imagine. She's polite (blunt) about it because Ei is fond of you and also you are. The Creator. But she's not really built to deal with personal relationships and so she doesn't know how to deal with affection.
..Depending on what you do you may or may not blue screen Ei hard enough that she retreats back to PoE
Ei usually isn't fond of sitting still, unless it's to meditate. At least then she goes in with a purpose, something to achieve– but now, she's just focused on trying not to make a fool of herself. Her muscles are starting to ache from how hard she's tensing, though, in an effort to sit as straight and still as possible as their hands glide through her hair, weaving it into a single braid.
She can just barely hear the subtle lilt of their voice as they hum– and though it is soothing, it is also..very distracting. She can't focus long enough to try and meditate, too lost in the gentle rise and fall of their voice and the care they take to braid her hair. If she'd had a heart, she'd sure it'd be beating so wildly against her ribcage they could hear it.
But then it stops– their hands fall back to their sides and their humming falters. She freezes, too, racking her brain for any slights she must have committed. Instead, she is met with a calm, tender touch on the back of her neck, making her inhale sharply.
"Am I making you uncomfortable, Ei? You're so tense.." She has to grit her teeth to stop herself from bowing so low her head presses against the ground, her hands folded in her lap, clenching instinctively. "..No, Divine One." She answers simply, trying to contain the adoration swelling in her chest.
Yet as much as she tries to relax, to ease their worries, she finds that she cannot.
"Hm." That small murmur, a simple sound that nearly made her jump, was the only warning she got before they scooted closer, wrapping their arms around her stomach and resting their chin on her shoulder with a grin she would liken to Miko's, if she dared to make such a comparison. "Really?"
She swears she must've been feverish at the affection, lightheaded and dazed until she thought she might simply perish at the brush of their hands against her own.
Much to her embarrassment, however, she doesn't realize she's instinctively pulled back into Plane of Euthymia until she sees the familiar dull purples engulf her vision once again.
Though only a small solace, it seemed a little..brighter, this time.
× furina
Varies between pre 4.2 and post 4.2 archon quests to be honest.
Pre 4.2 she comes off as very vain– of course the most Divine would see fit to spoil her with affection! She deserves it, and is obviously their favorite! Just don't look too hard because she's terrible at hiding how flustered she actually is. Absolutely goes home right after and screams into her pillow for at least thirty minutes minimum.
Post 4.2 she's a lot more openly bashful and flustered. She's really not used to affection and even the smallest show of it has her folding immediately. Now that she doesn't need to worry about being found out she's a lot more receptive to affection. Cup her cheeks and compliment her and her knees are buckling. Like. Especially weak for compliments and praise (she deserves it. please spoil her).
She swears she must be hallucinating– she had been having trouble sleeping recently. But..no. The visage of the Creator was as real as the sweat beading on her brow as she stared at them for a long, awkward moment. Should..she let them in? But then they'd see the pathetic state she was in, and the last thing she wanted to do was make a fool of herself in front of them-!
Her choice was quickly made for her, anyway, as she let out an undignified squeak of surprise when they suddenly tugged her forward into their chest, enclosing her in a hug.
Her first reaction was to freeze– her second was becoming absolutely flustered, her cheeks flushing a soft pink and her mouth closing and opening as she tried to find her words.
"I– ah..um." She stumbled over her words instead, floundering like a fish out of water. Yet she felt a distinct sense of emptiness wash over her when they finally pulled back, looking a touch sheepish. "Sorry, sorry– you just looked like you needed a hug."
The silence spoke for itself, her shoulders tensing slightly. But the way the concern and affection bled through their voice made her waver, her hands trembling as she let out a shaky breath that almost sounded like a sigh.
"It's..It's fine! Fine, I'm fine." She repeated, trying desperately to ignored the way her voice cracked and how hot her face felt– though it was more an attempt to affirm herself that she was not thinking about how warm they felt, how much she..actually enjoyed the hug. She wasn't thinking about it all! Absolutely not!
..Maybe a little.
"Just warn me next time, please?"

A dive into Vertin's core aspect of her character and it's impact through the story: Part 3
Part 1
Part 2
Matilda and Vertin
It's important to note that despite everything, Matilda and Vertin are good friends.
Matilda had the same aspirations as Vertin did as children: the freedom of self expression in spite of being raised to abandon those values; to know their world around them than to just learn from the textbooks.
However, what sets them apart is that Matilda willingly chose to join the white marble.
What sets them apart is the extent they’re willing to go to achieve that, and how they help people at their positions.
What sets them apart is how they handle their own inner struggle.
Matilda finds Vertin, who is in a miserable state, utterly unresponsive to the people around her because Sonetto is no longer around.
In just a day, the girl had already reverted back to being a mess, a sight that shocks Matilda greatly, but also pity for the girl who she respected a lot as a friend and classmate.
Sonetto had already given her the lengthy details, but seeing it for herself still leaves a pit in Matilda’s stomach. It was awful, how low Vertin had let herself be.
Yet somehow, Matilda feels determined, approaching her old friend as she tries to talk to her.
It doesn’t work of course, Vertin doesn’t even look like she seems to acknowledge the girl’s presence. This is what Sonetto was fearing, that without her, Vertin has no one she can open herself to, no one she could vent her pain to, no one she can let herself be broken fully towards.
It’s almost painful in a way, that even though Vertin is as much of a mess as she is, she still hides herself away from others, to not trouble them in having to deal with her. Even though it only makes people more worried, Vertin refuses to let anyone in, to know the full extent of her pain.
If Matilda was similar to Sonetto, she would likely try to find comfort for her in any way, to try to be an emotional pillar for Vertin. But that was nigh impossible, she didn't know Vertin as long as Sonetto did, didn’t understand her as much as Sonetto does.
And besides, she isn't Sonetto anyways.
“You’re scared, aren’t you?”
Matilda doesn’t know Vertin as well as Sonetto does, so she doesn’t know what would be the best way to help Vertin. But she is more perceptive than she lets on.
“Not of others, but yourself. You’re terrified to let people in, because you don’t want them to bother having to worry over you. To not have to deal with you. For them to not have to care about you.”
Matilda can’t be like Sonetto, a girl too kind, too caring and too sweet to ever be harsh or direct on people she cares about, especially Vertin. But she is kind in her own ways too.
“Sonetto is worried sick for you, I don’t know if you knew that or not. But if you do, then get up. Get up and let me help you do something about it.”
Vertin, although surprised, didn’t respond. But even so, the girl still stands, following Matilda lifelessly, for as miserable as she was, a part of her also understood just how much trouble she was placing on Sonetto. How much of a burden it must be to care for someone like her.
She feels sick of herself for doing that to her partner, and so she follows Matilda, to see if there’s something she could do.
But what can Matilda do? What does she even have that Sonetto doesn’t? How can she help Vertin when Sonetto, the person closest to her, couldn't even do that?
She can’t.
Of course Matilda can’t. They were only friends and not even close ones, it would be completely arrogant of her to think she could do anything for Vertin.
So instead, she will get Vertin to help herself, by using her divination skills and her own perceptive nature to guide the girl to her own answers.
Matilda drags Vertin’s inner thoughts out and lays it bare for her, forcing her to confront those memories and the regrets she holds within her mind. Some bad, some very bad, and all of it still hurts to this day as she constantly relieves them.
At first, Vertin is bombarded with toxic and painful thoughts of herself, but it’s through Matilda’s words and guidance that Vertin starts to see things a bit more clearly. By having Matilda offering her perspective, Vertin can see the events in a more objective manner.
Vertin had kept all these events warped against her. She wanted every reason to hate herself and so her memories were altered to fit into that narrative, to make it easier to put the blame on her and solely her. But Matilda will not let that happen, she will offer her own insights and keep Vertin from spiralling out of control.
Eventually, they do make progress, as Vertin starts to understand that she wasn’t responsible for everything. That there were things completely out of her control and she shouldn’t, couldn’t have known better. She was only trying her best in her own ways, even if it didn’t turn up well.
But the catalyst that got Vertin to even begin to accept this was Matilda, for through her conversation with her, did Vertin start to notice something in her that she never before. Something that gave her a sense of comfort, knowing she isn’t alone; something that they both share in common.
They are both selfless individuals.
Vertin gave herself up to help those around her, disregarding her own safety and agency if it means the people around her can make it out safe. She has no inherent sense of worth, only existing to help others as a way to bring meaning to her life.
Matilda gave her life to her studies, her academics and for the constant grind to become the very best, to stand at the top amongst the top. She does it so she can be acknowledged by the people around her, so that she can convince herself that she is meaningful, that she has meaning, that she can help.
Her constant drive to better herself is so she could feel like she is useful, to feel like she matters, to feel like she can help anyone in need.
Her sense of value comes from other people’s perception of her, and she will go to great lengths to prove that she can be useful. She exists to be helpful to those around her, for her value comes from their perception of her.
The way they go about it may be different, but Vertin and Matilda share this trait between themselves. They were mirrors of one another, reflecting both ends of the extreme. And because of that, Vertin learned to trust the girl more, to start opening herself up for she now understands that the girl truly does sympathize with her, at least somewhat.
Finally, after a long and gruelling journey of unwinding all the events in her head, Vertin comes face to face with the thing that represents all her insecurities, all her doubts, all her hatred and pain that she has kept within her for years until now.
Vertin faces herself, the one that started it all.
Gazing at the girl that represented Vertin’s biggest regrets and mistakes. The girl who had wronged so many lives because of her own naivety and unwillingness to look past herself.
She admits to herself that after everything, Vertin still cannot forgive her. She can’t forgive the girl for what she had done, for the people she had lost, for the trust she had broken and for the mistakes she had foolishly wrought over and over.
She admits that the girl was stupid, blinded by her own short-sighted and naive views on the world that caused others to suffer because of it. She admits that the things she has caused can never be erased, that the pain will never fade away no matter the decades that pass by.
And yet, Vertin admits that there is more to the girl, that in spite of all the bad she had done, some of it was good.
The girl had saved lives, gave others a reason to keep going, gave others hope and the conviction to follow their own hearts and even became the reason for others to put their faith and trust and love in, because they truly believed in the girl, placing their hopes and faiths into her goal, but above all, because they genuinely cared about her.
Vertin admits it, she admits that she does not know if she could keep walking a straight path, that she would never make a horrible mistake again like she had done before. That she wouldn’t one way or another lose the most precious things to her, that she won’t falter and break again.
But she has hope.
Because in spite of everything, there is still someone who loves her. And for that, she wants to have hope, to hold onto it as tightly as she could.
Hope that through them and through her crew, she won’t fall back into her old ways, that she won’t break again.
Hope that someday, maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not in a long long time, but someday; she can learn to like herself a little more.
With that, Vertin finally concludes her session with Matilda, thanking the girl for what she has done. But most of all, she acknowledges that the two of them are alike, going through something similar albeit still very different ends of the spectrum; but if the girl ever needs help, she is willing to be there for her.
Vertin’s selfless nature never disappears, and it likely won’t ever.
Because that is who she is at her heart, a girl who cares far too much to ever let other’s lives sifted away. But she will try to include herself this time, to find things about herself that she can like, to learn to place a bit more value on herself, even if it will never be above others. For she now understands that there are those who care far too much to let the blazing life that is Vertin's soul fade away as well.
Her friends, her crew, her family has always welcomed her, yet she has always kept herself distant from them. She did it because she didn’t want to hurt them, and didn't want them to get too involved with her where they would inevitably get hurt by her. All because she fears that she might lose them again, that because of her, she will lose those precious to her once more.
But now, she is willing to knock on the door of that familiar home, to let herself be welcomed in, an invitation that has always been open to her. To meet their happy and warm gazes with her own. To let herself be not the Timekeeper, but just Vertin, a scared yet hopeful girl.
Reconnecting with friends:
Eventually, Vertin will gradually start being open again to her team, Slowly but surely, she’ll start taking the time to interact with them more and properly communicate with them on her own without an emotional crutch or trying too hard to keep up with a facade.
Vertin is willing to be vulnerable to those around her in spite of still harbouring doubts about herself, letting her thoughts and emotions be known to those that she cares about, and who Vertin also gradually starts to accept that they care about her too.
After reuniting with Sonetto again, being surrounded by all the people she has grown so close to in just a short few months, Vertin laughs.
A laugh filled with regret, sadness and underlying pain that she can’t ever forget; but also filled with joy and relief and happiness. That after so many years, Vertin finally feels like she belongs, to feel like she can belong in a family she can call her own again.
She regrets that it took her so many mistakes, so many bad choices and so many lives lost just for her to finally reach this point, that resentment towards herself still clings to her every step of the way.
But Vertin has found hope again.
She has hope that if she continues the path she is now, to continue walking along with her new-found family and to rely on them just as they rely on her, to find the worth in herself that she refused to admit she has for so long; that one day, she can look at herself in the mirror, and smile at the girl she had become.
And that is how Vertin’s character development might look to us. At the very least, if the game goes towards focusing on her selflessness a bit more throughout the story.
For those that read all the way to the end, we hope you enjoyed it. It’s a very self-indulgent analysis that we have been obsessed with for a week, and it took many tiring nights to get to this point. But this was our way of showing our love and appreciation for the character that is Vertin, and so no matter where the story will take her after this point, no matter how absolutely wrong we are in predicting her story(which I have zero doubts we very are wrong lmao), it would be a story that we would eagerly await all the same.
With that, I shall be signing off. I will keep rambling on, until we meet again.

I'm sorry to worry yah, Thank you so much for your sweet words and art 💖 I've been quietly shuffling about in the shadows, still putting one foot in front of the other (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) Interacting with people and posting online still takes more out of me than I have to give, but I've made progress using Tumblr messages! It was my new years resolution to be online more, continue to fight my fear of people and the curse of my bodys health failing every time I talk to someone or post ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ and Now month 3 I have managed to finally answer an ask, so more progress has been made! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for your ask and art, I'm saving it forever in a little folder to stare at when I need courage 💖

hope u guys know that when i talk about the matrix i am not meaning it in an alt-right, conspiracy theorist, andrew t*te enjoyer way. i am meaning it in an i-genuinely-have-a-hyperfixation-on-this-movie, trans allegory, capitalism-is-destroying-the-world-and-we’re-being-forced-to-participate way

ok im a really chill and normal person and i get over things and am well adjusted but take a walk with me here. just give me my time to complain when im not in the absolute fucking trenches. and yes i believe i suffered more than those in trench warfare. it was literally a lesbian situationship with a bistraight girl come on. just. magenta choppy shag with the roots coming in. camo cargo pants black t shirt with red lettering and striped long sleeve (sign someone likes music. confirmed). lip ring big black stud earrings and nails. red docs. i think lesbians should be allowed to kill one dyke baiter in their lifetime idc
#and now we're gonna get into some quiet parts and youre just gonna let me have this#i. am so sick. first of all it was kinda funny how people ik ended up sorta surrounding her. felt good. but like we've shared a space#together since everything. i can like be in her presence it's seriously fine. that said. i do sometimes miss her#i say this after going through the really hating her guts period bc of her evil evil evil ways. and feeling like she's lame as hell bc she#s. but i mean it's me talking i have my problems too. i Hate the way we always so naturally act in sync. and i hate that we've both picked#each others' brains for hours so it's like. i knew you once and now we can't even look each other in the eye and that just really sucks#and i feel like. not that i strictly believe in these things. but we were sort of twin flames. i largely suffered for like. basically#falling in love w her. and i know i didn't leave as much of a mark. but i still hope it sucked a little for her#and i'll admit i think it'd be some sort of miracle if we could ever talk civilly. unfortunately we work in two ways#literally behaving in Ways and borderline fucking or not speaking. so. here we are#and i already humiliatingly tried to extend an olive branch this summer so im not gonna be fucking stupid. yk#but GOD how annoying. i did talk to situationship today and we were relatively normal so at least that's not deathly awkward#it's still. definitely um. stiff. but not terrible#i need to get to the club. pretend theres a cig emoji im on desktop rn#sorry for this.#film girl saga
