I keep wanting to turn this into a colored picture but the concept is just a little hard to pull off effectively when it comes to coloring... Like would I make an image where the station is fully opaque and one where it's transparent? would that even be effective at communicating...? i dunno. Drawing NSFW is hard :(

Pile One
What makes you attractive are mainly the things that you feel don't make you attractive. I'm seeing you have excellent posture, but hold back on it sometimes because it accentuates how broad your shoulders are, but it's a trait of yours that people love and also admire. Your raspy voice is what's favored by many, and your deep belly laughs are enough to make another persons's day. Daintiness and grace, are what you may feel defines desirability, but the power of your beauty ties to something more freeing, untamed like flames that aren't meant to stop burning. Even if you don't feel confident with your features, people love what you don't conceal, like face blemishes and acne, scars, freckles, your forehead, how frizzy your hair is, and your teeth when you smile. You could be athletic and/or not afraid to get your hands dirty, your presence and how people learn from you is fun. It also seems like a big thing that people find attractive about you is your attention, they love how protective you are about the things and people that you care about, how you bring others out their shell, and you're comforting to be around to the point where even if people don't say what they want from you, they secretly want you to initiate a conversation out of them.
Pile Two
Yours eyes are one of the main things that people find attractive about you, there's something about the shape, but people could love the way that you look when you're sleepy, or your gaze is something that's found to be very tranquilizing and soft to others. Your beauty is very "swaying". You could have a lovely voice, especially if you sing. Your could have mystical facial and body features that people could find unreal or not possible to have without surgery. I'm picking up a lot of demure energy from this pile. Perhaps it took you awhile to know that you're beautiful because of your environment, but it's important to recognize that you have a mesmerizing pull on others with your appearance. People love it when you're confident, but it's the silence about it that seduces them, your eye contact is being brought up again, but I'm also seeing a grin that's both mischievous but irresistible. I keep getting pretty privilege, the energy that your beauty exudes makes people want to give you favors, gifts, or be a provider for you in a way that you won't have to lift a finger.
Pile Three
What makes you attractive is the way that you pamper yourself. If you're into makeup and fashion, you could come across people who try to humble you by saying that you focus too much on your appearance, that they prefer someone who's natural and doesn't wear makeup (even though no one asked what they liked), or tried to tell you that you won't find any success with wanting to be a model or a beauty influencer. But these are projections from people who insult what they can't have or aspire to be if they realized how much control that they actually have over their lives. People see you as very powerful and care-free, and wonder "how does so and so do that? What is their secret", but like Nike—you just do it. Your appearance could be described as sultry, mysterious, yet whimsical. You could have thick and luscious hair, especially if you have curls. But when it comes to clothes, you don't wear the outfit, the outfit wears you. Common first impressions that people could have about you, is that you're intimidating and could potentially be mean or uppity. But like Maddy, from Euphoria, people find out that you're an actual big sweetheart, that helps others find the beauty and confidence with themselves. A beautiful person inside and out. I also feel like your fashion sense isn't at all conditional, you show out whenever, wherever. There's trendsetter energy in this pile too.
Pile Four
Y'all look like money. Everything about you looks rich, regardless of what your finances are. Nothing about you looks cheap when it comes to your clothes and the way that you furnish your house. You guys could make your own clothes, be into flipping house or excellent party decorators. I feel like you're the person to have when it comes to thrifting. People love how not only do you look expensive, but also how assertive and picky you are with your standards. You don't play about your morals, any bad vibes that you pick up about a person, who to be friends with, and who or what you choose to support and spend your money on. What makes you attractive is how out of reach you are. You could be seen as demanding, but people have a soft spot for it and are impressed by someone who knows what they want. You could also been seen as artistic and are extremely detailed when it comes to your work, presentations, gift giving, writing, and lectures. The way that you mentally stimulate people is attractive, and although you may seem mean, people love the way that you're gentle when you teach them about something or when you do acts of service for them. You could be associated with "cancel culture" but people admire you for actually having a legit reason behind your disproval of someone or something and that you aren't hypocritical.
Pile Five
Regardless of the condition your skin is in, people find it to be very beautiful because of it, I'm getting that it has a luminescent glow. Your personality could be jubilant, youthful, and refreshing. You could have full cheeks, doe eyes, button noses, or full pouty lips. People love your side grins. You could be described as someone who's head is always up in the clouds, but at the same time you're sensible. You guys could be a proud plant parent, or love studying biology and botany. Maybe you guys prefer rural environments to live in and could love the cottage-core aesthetic. I'm getting that you guys could also smell really good, maybe it's the perfume or cologne that you wear, but I'm getting something more natural, like your pheromones. People could be attracted to you but can't really figure out why, you're extremely comfortable to be around, and there's something about you that evokes escapism in even the toughest workaholic, your presence could make others want to skip out on their responsibilities, and there's also this gentle aura about you that softens the relationship that people have with themselves emotionally and materially. You guys could also be playfully flirtatious, your beauty is very nymph-like.
Pile Six
What makes you attractive is how spiritual you are. People believe that you have access to secret knowledge or "magic" that could benefit to their healing or elevating their life in some way. There's a lot of alchemist energy in this pile, so people could be fascinated with your growth, or how you always seem to bounce back and transform yourself to something stronger from your pain and losses. Your aesthetic could be considered eccentric and blinding in some way. A lot of attracted to you, but could see you as unapproachable. Like they're Icarus and shouldn't fly towards the sun unless they want to burn, so there's definitely a fear of rejection. But also a deep desire to be intimate with you emotionally or sexually, but also to know the things about yourself that you keep hidden, or about your past. People could also be attracted to how you don't want them, and actually love that you're mean to them and leave them out in the cold. It's like a heart break that they're willing to risk.

There's a weird, weird, weird criticism of PMMM that revolves around the girls being pitted against each other and how Madoka's wish in the finale somehow is a statement on the "model woman."
Like... I get that pop culture too often has girls going at each other in a vibe that amounts to, "girls, amirite?" but Madoka Magica felt like it treated any of the sort with nuance and an in-universe reason.
If they knew how much the Incubators were screwing them over and the info Kyubey often withholds, they'd team up and fight the power hands down.
Would Kyoko and Sakura not put aside their differences if all we know of Kyubey now was known by them while the former was still stable enough? Would Mami not have tried to gun down Kyubey along with Homura if she learned the truth (preferable not after having to kill Sayaka as a witch)?
I know, that's such a dumb criticism. It's explicitly shown in the series that, unlike most magical girl series where everyone is best friends, the girls don't get the chance to do that because the very nature of the magical girl system in PMMM makes them compete for limited resources.
They're not catty girls fighting over shoes and boys, they're literally fighting for their survival and unfortunately making friends can get in the way of that. I think it's actually a really good critique on systems that divide us like capitalism and white supremacy; we could all be friends and help each other, but there are oppressive systems and structures in place that make us compete with each other.
Moreover, the effect this competitiveness has on the magical girls is shown in great detail with Mami (especially in The Different Story manga). She's desperate, lonely, and depressed because she doesn't have anyone to confide in.
It's no wonder that, when resources aren't as much of an issue, magical girls tend to band together. We see this in Magia Record, where lone magical girls are the rare exception and not the rule thanks to the purification barrier. In fact, a few events showcase non-Kamihama magical girls trying to infiltrate and stir up discord among the Kamihama magical girls only to fail because they're all on good terms with each other, if not straight-up friends and teammates. In Madoka's new universe, magical girls also fight together on teams because they're not competing over limited Grief Seeds.
So yeah, the lack of teamwork in the main series basically boils down to "oppressive systems inherently work to divide the people to keep them from banding together and unlocking their full potential." Man, I really need to write an analysis on the socialist implications of PMMM lol

No, but like, WHY do people care so much about other people ship preferences?
I get it, I don't ship the obvious ones or the "right" or what was given to me by the author, but IS JUST A SHIP.
Look, don't get me wrong, I'm not angry at other preferences when it comes to this. What I get annoyed at is that when there is an illustration, an edit, a fucking fic, any kind of media, that shows that romantic dynamic between the characters they will be like
"siblings 🩷" "omg no how could ship that? They aren't like that." "Have you read the books ?" "Omg, people actually ship them?" "The author said..." "omg but this (name of other ship), it's so much better," and so on.
My beautiful person who comments in every edit of (some examples, but I'm sure that there's more) harmony, lunami, zutara, sasusaku .... do you really think that they/we don't know or care about this ? Do you know what you look like when u comment stuff like that? An idiot who can't let others have a different opinion on literally fiction character's romance life, like that one kid in kindergarten who saw another kid getting a toy and go's on about how that toy is lame compared to theirs, a spoiled brat.
You have so many things to be arguing about in the actual plot, but you can't cus you think that the idea of nami and luffy together is so wrong that you go around in every media of them "oda said..." But with other members of the crew, oda said absolutely nothing... not only that, but are we really discussing this ? Can we be talking about I don't know... how racist and hypocrites are some people in this famdon? Really give your disappointment and disgust to that(what is actually important).
Harry and Hermione are another great example of "I know they aren't like that but I like the idea of it" WE KNOW THEY AREN'T LIKE THAT but we think is cute it could HAVE BEING cute, sometimes people just grow up shipping and seeing they as a possible couple, like people who grow hating sakura and now simply can't have a actually good argument of why she should be hated on... that was an ironic comment by the way but also not, ( no, her not liking the main character the same way shouldn't be one, or the author not giving her screen time either much less cus of the fact the the anime did her dirty with so much disconnect things from the manga, like her relationship with sasuke <his perspective of it > or naruto himself for that matter, hate on a literally 12 years old for saying shit that every fucking person in the village grew up thinking, funny, why not hate on the thirdkage then? The person who could have actually stopped the hate on a little kid) [Sorry that got out of the main point]
Or zutara, my God, people get personal with just as harmony, relax, just cus I like them doesn't mean I hate kataang, surprise or not I do think they are indeed very cute, I'm pretty sure some other people who ship zutara too... we just see the potential, what could have happened, once again, enemies to friends to loves, the plot, you know ? There is no need to get offended by the IDEA of it. We love the drama and the fic, the illustrations, the edits are just a format that represents and shows it, share if people who likes it, you don't like it ? Oh well, let me tell you a secret, ignore it, you probably ignore so much more important things, why not a fucking edit of ship you don't even like ?, oh you can't ? You can't see other people "toy" and shut about your disappointment on it, is it that hard ?, oh well, have you actually not known that there's an amazing thing within social media, when you hold/press or simply click on the 3 dots on the top of the post, there's a option there, that's right, BLOCK IT the algorithm will understand if you continue blocking it, unlike some people.
I'm just rambling about this because I'm sick and tired of people being such a killjoy, I just want to enjoy "my ship" and see the comments of people who actually likes it to, not yours "siblings 🩷" in post which is definitely not about that, or "oda said..." when i didn't ask what he said, you know people have different things that brings them a scape from reality that brings them a funny giggle (no killing others people joy, when it's such a basic no harmful thing), wave of emotion for those who don't get to feel much in the day-to-day life or simple just cus.
It just petty of you, be better.
Ps.. There is no offense for those who ship other characters within these plots(or different ones), original, popular, or unpopular. Do your thing. Be happy. Just don't spoil others.
Ps2... NO I'm not defending incest that's no it at fucking all ( sorry if I didn't make it clear). I said "siblings" when it came to lunami and Harry x Hermione (cus people like to comment that on posts that aren't even about it < the platonic soul mates comment>), they AREN'T related or grown up at such. Point is you hating the idea of it and going on every post about the ship and hating there. hate all you want, but not on ,obviously, posts that are for the fans of the ship.

hihelo, raau related things
i really like how you draw and write stuff with hybrid stuff in mind, especially avians, and was wondering if you could infodump a bit? stuff like instincts and little things like sounds they make stuff
sorry if this is too vague, i dont really have any specific questions, im just curious about it all :D
oh actually i do have one, where do you usually learn all this stuff from?
Thank you! I'll try to answer a few things
As far as major ones I don't think it's much all that differently than the general fanon you find in fics, the only real difference is that since I'm drawing, I have to figure out what it actually would look like/go with a more visual option. (For example a lot of people make blazeborn, or at least tango, purr, and that's not something you can depict in a silent, still image easily.) The only other difference is that raau is set on a single, modern world and so ones like blazeborn aren't from the nether or void and these species have a linear history that impacts the world's development.
Avians:
Avians make all sorts of birb noises when theyre emotional of course, and they need preening. Maybe pre apocalypse they were picky about what to do with their feathers, but in the apocalypse they could be a potential resource so at least Jimym and Grian save them.
The main difference is I prefer to interpret things like feather-gifts and nests as familial things. A lot of these behaviours are based on bird behaviours but I like to imagine they don't just... act like birds. These are their culture and traditions not JUST instincts.
So, like, it's instinctive and better for their body if they sleep in a nest rather than a bed, but that nest replaces beds and- while their partner usually is the other person sleeping in that bed, it's more of a big like... sleepover space for everyone in their flock, not a romantic thing. It doesn't really say anything about their relationship other than they're comfortable sleeping around them, in their nest which is their safe place. Nests I also designed based on enclosed nests like weavers, or a bird house, or cavity nests like owls. I think it just made it more distinctly a nest rather than a round dipping bed, especially once all the blankets and pillows are placed. So they'll put up veils and curtains and basically make a fort but permanent. It's the focal point of their homes, basically.
The ranchers' has to be comfortable and accessible to Tango as well but I imagine most avian families straight up make a whole room for just the nest and no stairs. I feel like avians are really bad about making accessible architecture. In raau I imagine their world a lot liek ours but I also image it without a housing crisis or lots of generic homes due to the needs of the various species usually meaning a LOT of people build their own homes.
Feather earrings I also imagine as a nuclear family thing between avians only, for the inner flock so to speak. It's sort of like a house flag, 'these are my siblings/parents/children' type thing. If that involves a non avian a non-feather item might be included, like a blazerod or scale. It's mostly a signal to other avians, though (and pretty). Like if Jimmy removed Grian's feather from his earring that would be A Statement. there isn't really any ritual involved with giving them, either, it's just expected. Outer flock aka friends, extended family, and unmarried partners aren't really involved.
Avians also have a migratory instinct in raau. Though they have specific birds they might resemble I think of them as their own whole species 99% of the time (Jimmy's ability to see sounds being the 1% unique due to their bird thing). In the case of the modern avians this usually takes the form of frequent travelling or nomadic lifestyles and taking up temporary/seasonal work.
A lot of cowboys were avians, and probably a lot of those world travel blogs were run by avians. Probably a lot of jobs discriminate against avians assuming they'll want a bunch of vacation time or up and quit like how women with families are treated. Jimmy doesn't travel much as he's more of a ground-bird and the farms he worked on were plenty spacious, but even he gets antsy if he's stuck at the ranch too long and usually is the one to go out scavenging with Grian or visiting the hospital.
And finally obviously their wings are very important to them. It's their everything, even if they're like Jimmy and don't fly too much. It's their main survival strategy so being grounded makes them very anxious and stressed. Even Jimmy who hasn't been able to fly-fly for several years in raau still instinctively tries to launch himself in the air when startled or attacking. Clipping or damaging them is the worst thing imaginable to them so they treat them with the utmost care.
It's how they display being healthy and well-groomed to others, like a nice clean haircut, and they puff up and flatten largely in the same displays and posturing as your average bird as far as communicating emotions goes.
Blazeborn:
I don't have nearly as much for blazeborn since there's only one of them, but I think their instincts are very cat-like as far as behaviour. They are completely in control of their ability to burn or produce fire, like rapidash. They get VERY firey and turn into a fire hedgehog when enraged, but if they know who it is then even then they won't burn someone they don't want to burn. It's more like a threat display, but of course whoever it's directed at will usually be burnt.
They tend to use their tail to communicate, and they use it like cats use purring; when they're comfortable or are trying to comfort themselves they wrap it around things. Otherwise it communicates much the same way as a cat's tail.
In raau their flame colour is an indication of their internal temperature regulation. Blue/white is extra hot and red is cooled down, yellow is in-between, average temp. Since it's also hair it can't be put out, but it does crackle and steam when wet. They do NOT do well in cold weather, obviously, nor weather that heavily fluctuates.
A lot of traditional blazeborn homes are in deserts or underground, and modern blazeborn-friendly homes ALWAYS have the main part of the house as a basement suit type deal with plenty of climate control, where it's much easier to regulate temperatures to warm and dry.
They have an attraction to metals, though tango's a little freak who likes iron more than gold. Them and pig-hybrids are probably the reason for the gold standard. Probably a lot of traditions involve metalworking and the like. It's instinctive to be attracted to metals, but the working of them into things is cultural.
Also in raau specifically blazerods are a whole effort and ordeal to produce. it's basically blazeborn cartilage.
Others:
raau doesn't have magic, so races defined by their magical capabilities are no around, like vex or witches.
Medusas like Cleo basically have multiple brains like an octopus and so require a lot of calories and nutrition. They're also immune to snake venom and can develop immunity to other toxins, thus they're actually very reliable for the development of anti-venoms and vaccines.
Scott's an elf but it doesn't mean much other than he's tall and has slightly pointy ears. They have a lot of cultural stuff, but Scott's not a very traditional guy.
Fauns have a lot of prey-instincts, so they tend to have very strong fight or flight instincts at the smallest thing. They're also a bit odd to most people. They're social but in a shield sort of way rather than a cooperative sort of way, so their moral compass can seem off. If I let myself I would make so much faun lore so I intentionally stopped myself there. The only other thing is their horns/antlers shed annually and so they treat them almost like how others treat family picture books or height charts.
Tiny Tom is both a voidwalker and a cow faun hybrid. As far as voidwalkers go they hate being looked in the eye and are similar to avians with a migratory instinct.
Merfolk like Lizzie need to live in humid climates if they are going to live out of the water, and have very strong schooling instincts. They'll often have very large families and friend groups. Home pools were unsurprisingly something that first appeared in land-living merfolk homes. It's an absolute necessity, as well as a large bathroom or full on bathhouse. (they separate the bathroom and the toilet as separate rooms)
And that's about all the things I've thought about. It seems like a lot when actually typed out and explained, but a lot of it's mostly common fanon maybe adjusted here and there for the setting of raau.

Characters with wasted potential: shinso Hitoshi
(rant)
I love the idea and structure of Hitoshi's character but horikoshi just decided to execute it in one of the worst ways possible. So Hitoshi's introduction starts with him in the sports festival and how we see him slowly climb through the ranks and get introduced to his character and the problems he has with 1A. I don't mind his interaction with ojiro as I think that made me more intrigued to him but I hate when the fandom decides that it will be fun to demonise ojiro about it for no reason when Hitoshi was clearly in the wrong.
Moving on to my actual problems about shinso:
HIS WHOLE BACKSTORY. in my opinion yes he is an interesting character but his backstory really really sucks and just contains with people telling him "oh you're quirk sounds kinda evil" like it really doesn't do much nor does it explain how shinso acts the way he does. There is almost no conflict in that backstory or anything like quirk discrimination which is present in another characters backstories like izuku, toga and shoji. I think this is mainly a problem due to hori not being able to show but just having to tell us everything which really ruins the story in its self
HIS CONFLICT/FIGHT WITH IZUKU. maybe as an izuku fan Iam being biased but it makes no sense how shinso went on to izuku about being born with a silver spoon in his mouth when during that WHOLE TOURNAMENT izuku didn't use his quirk but his brains which is something anyone can do. I understood the point of the speech but it really really fell flat because 1) izuku didn't use his quirk and 2) it was a horrible guess on shinso's part.
THERE ARE NON OFFENSIVE QUIRKS IN 1A. The whole idea of shinso thinking he didn't get into the hero course because he didn't have a good flashy quirk is just stupid when you see a lot of the other hero course kids like toruu, ojiro or even koda who don't have any offensive QUIRKS at all and it doesn't help when there are many and I mean MANY heros that fight with non offensive QUIRKS and are quite successful like night eye.
Now let me talk about his potential. The idea of a brainwashing quirk is actually very interesting and it's a good quirk as well it would make sense if shinso hates his quirk due to discrimination or bullying and he has a very tunneled view of the world which is that people with flashy/strong quirks are always happy, on top of everything, powerful and arrogant. Now we can go on and have Hitoshi cement that idea in his head after whatever nonsense bakugo pulls during the sports festival and whatever rumours came out of the usj incident. During the sports festival we will have shinso's behaviour stay the same but when it comes to him and the izuku fight you could either have izuku use his quirk before ( it could make shinso think oh so someone who doesn't even know how to control their quirk got into the hero course but i couldn't) or have him fight another member of the hero course who has a flashy quirk maybe someone like momo. During the fight shinso can provoke the character to get an answer out of them but also question how and why they got into the hero course. (I prefer having izuku being chosen to fight shinso.) This happens and then the fight goes the same line as canon. The next time we meet shinso it should be way sooner then season 5 and I feel like hori should focus on more of the academia so we meet him during those moments where we see him talking to izuku more and try to change his views; we can have him apologise to ojiro and the way he treated 1A. We can then have him involved in 1A sooner then season 5 make it some time around the final exams where we see him see others fighting and he notices how their quirks aren't as flashy and powerful as he thought also have him focus on the momo and todoroki fight or have him involved in it. In my opinion it would be good for him to see momo who is the smartest in 1A and has a cool flashy quirk crumble thinking she isn't good enough and it will also break a lot of the stereotypes he had.
Overall, we slowly see Hitoshis character develop from someone who has a narrow minded view based on only his experiences and hate who then changes and sees the reality of life while also fighting against his own stereotypes of him being a villain by becoming a hero.

FFXIV LFRP; Miyako Akane
Tumblr media
Full name: Miyako Akane
Race: Auspice/Yokai
Gender: Genderfluid? Nonbinary? Really, it's whatever they feel like at the moment. Her pronouns depend on the skin she's in at the time: she/they, or he/they. Typically prefers her female presenting form unless her masculine form is more preferable to those she's interacting with.
Sexuality: All of it. Anything.
Marital Status: Single! She's not settling down, she's always on the prowl.
Age: Several centuries old
Profession: She doesn't have one! Though technically they may read your cards or offer a boon...for a price, and she rarely accepts actual currency
Hobbies: Pranking mortals. Preying on mortals. Seducing mortals, people watching... and generally just about anything to do with the forest, or nature.
Hair: Dark orange/white accents
Eyes: Amber
Distinguishing Marks: Typically veiled as a Miqo'te, there is little distinguishing about her person to those unable to see through the magic she uses - although on occasion, one might spot a fluffier tail than she actually seems to have, out of the corner of their eye. To those able to see through this magic... she's quite a bit different than her feline glamour would suggest to the average person. In their feminine presenting forms, she always has red tattoo-markings around her eyes.
Tumblr media
RP Hooks
She's still as-yet un-roleplayed, so there's a lot of potential - and there's less impetus for me to want longer storylines on her, so if you just want a few one-off scenes to have your cards read or the like, those are easier on her than on my other characters, though I'm always a sucker for a long plot/storyline that's steeped in character growth! Never be afraid to approach me if you have an idea!
Maybe you want your cards read! I have several tarot decks IRL, and an oracle deck that's well-suited to her too, and I could no doubt use the practice, myself. She essentially makes fey bargains - deals with weird prices that aren't always clear at first.
She may be centuries old, but she was barely over a century when she was imprisoned out in the East, and only escaped her magical prison in the last couple years! (I was, in fact, inspired by JJK and Sukuna for her imprisonment.) She ran from the East and took a new face to pose as, since she was captured and imprisoned in the East, and the people there still respect the old legends... and the Black Shroud is an excellent forest, vibrant with life! ...and unsuspecting mortals.
Speaking of the Black Shroud, there's a lot of ways to interact with her in regard to that! You could randomly run into her. She could do what kitsune do in the old tales, and lure you off the road at night and get you lost. Maybe you've seen something weird in the forest, or heard strange tales from travelers. Maybe you're just really in tune with the elementals and they've mentioned a new entity in the forest...really, I'm open to about anything with some talk about it beforehand!
She feeds on aether! She doesn't have to kill people to do this, though she's certainly not above it - what are morals to an animal, anyways? Food is food. Prey is prey. But sometimes, it's easier to just seduce someone and feed on their aether, before leaving them naked and drained in the forest to have a laugh at their expense.
Given her long imprisonment, much about the world is new to her! Maybe you lure her in by showing her all the nifty new stuff there is, and blowing her mind at how much things have changed in a few hundred years.
You could be an antagonist! Hunt her, if you like! Maybe she hurt you, or someone you care(d) about! Maybe you're from the East and found out her prison was dismantled, and you fear yokai; or you're just a Shroud Dweller who has been wronged, etc.
Romance! While I don't tend to like interactions that are solely focused on seeking out ERP - she is a sensual creature, and physical intimacy is an indulgence and a way to consume aether... though I don't know how she'd feel about genuine romance... last time she indulged in that, it got her caught and imprisoned!
She likes pranks/mischief... and sometimes that mischief can seem cruel if you don't understand the mindset of a creature of the wild. Engage her on her level, and she might find you more 'fun' than 'food'.
Alternately, she carries her soul around in an orb she wears as jewelry, and if someone got their hands on it, it'd be bad news for her!
About anything you can think of and want to brainstorm together! She's an alt that's good for long-term or short-term RP; serious, or not-so-serious moments... there's plenty of potential!
Tumblr media
The OOC
Writer is 30+, and I prefer RP partners to be 21+ - I do prefer darker, more mature RP, but that's not all I'm capable of! I just like morally grey explorations - and questions like 'what really drives a person?'
Late nights aren't really something I can do anymore, past 11-12pm my writing isn't any good, though my schedule is open enough to allow earlier starting times. Also I'm CST, and prefer in-game RP. I simply can't stay in character when RP isn't moving in real time, and tend to just forget to respond to out of game stuff, or not feel well enough to write some days, and it ends up taking so long that I can't stay in character. Thus, scheduling in-game scenes ahead of time will always be what works best for me.
No canon characters please, it just really breaks my immersion/my character wouldn't have any reason to interact with canon characters really! Unfortunately, this means WoL OCs as well - their power level is just so intense that I can't really justify my OCs interacting with the WoL: time-traveling slayer of gods at the edges of the universe. (And no shade to canon RPers of any kind - it's just not my cup of tea, is all. Embrace your fun, my friends!) I also don't mind bending lore, but outright ignoring/breaking with it is also not really for me - and again, there's no judgement for how others choose to have fun, but I like to respect the canon.
I prefer plots, and RP with a purpose - contact solely focused on ERP is not welcome. ERP as part of an on-going story doesn't bother me, however.
Don't bring IC into OOC, or vice verse!
Communicate! If the RP isn't working for you, just tell me! I prefer 'organic RP,' but if you want to steer a story (RP) in a certain direction or don't want it steering in a direction, let me know! I much prefer having that conversation, rather than allowing an RP partner to be silently upset or uncomfortable!Follows come from @ooc-miqojak , and my other blogs are @miqojak and @antlers-and-omens!

Ok this is just an idea, but who do you think would suit the trope s/he (reader) fell first, and s/he fell too late? it's just such an angsty idea i can't comprehend this gosh 😭😭
Oh, such drama! Such angst! But of course, I'll gladly deliver, Anon. Now, this actually made me think pretty hard, because let's be real- most of these people are probably very touch starved, because, you know, war. But I eventually came to the conclusion that it could be a few of our "less approachable/romanceable" leaders. So, our dearest Magoichi, Mitsunari... and honestly, I also decided to include Shingen (not saying he's unapproachable, we love our warlord dad). I chose him because he has great angst potential. So, happy reading! Well... not really happy, but hopefully enjoyable nonetheless.
💔 Too Little, Too Late - SB Imagines 💔
Ever since you met the one you fell so hard for, you felt nothing but affection. Sure, there were flaws, but you were willing to accept them, or try to help fix them if they could be fixed. You were loyal, devoted, and always willing to lend a hand. Hoping that maybe, just maybe, your efforts would be noticed and your love reciprocated. But it wasn't. Not until it was too late... but you aren't the one left to pick up the pieces.
💔 Magoichi 💔
Magoichi was always... fond of you. She didn't even realize it herself for the longest time- after all, relationships weren't exactly her forte. She had the Saika Faction to run, and even when she had time for herself between all those battles and price negotiations, she preferred to remain in solitude. Alone, as she was supposed to be. In her mind, at least.
She found you a bit strange, perhaps. Too good to be true. When she gave an order, you never hesitated and went for it. When she scolded you, you never complained and used it to become an even better soldier. Your skills with a rifle also weren't anything to scoff at. Really, you were a model member of the Faction. Always there, always willing to lend a hand. She appreciated it, as any superior would, though she rarely ever said anything out loud. Actions speak louder than words, after all. And she couldn't play favorites, nor allow herself to be anything but the strong leader everyone needs her to be. She had a legacy to carry.
But now, things are different. It all started innocently enough- she's been getting reports here and there that no one could find you. Of course, you always made sure to have all your tasks completed before sneaking out who knows where. And it happened only every once in a while, so there was no reason to worry. But slowly, it became more and more frequent, to the point where she just had to find out what was going on. Why would you sneak off like that? You were always more than content to spend your free time either alone or with the others- the Saika Faction was like family to you.
She feels your absence most of all, she realizes as she watches you leave from the encampment again, thinking that no one can see. It was like things got... grey, whenever you left. Dull, without that trademark friendly grin you gave her whenever she sent you out to do one thing or another. The way you'd pat your fellow warriors on the back and gave them uplifting words when they needed it. And the way your eyes softened when you talked to her- well, there weren't enough words to describe the feeling.
She hates this, hates this realization. That someone somehow bypassed the walls she built around her heart, and she didn't even notice. And she hates it even more at this moment, because the very reason she plans to follow you now is to check if you're not compromising the Faction somehow. Why else would you sneak off? The chances of you being a spy are small, of course... but never zero, and she owes the Faction at least this much.
Screw it all.
Magoichi makes sure to follow you at a good distance- your senses are not to be scoffed at, of course. You lead her across various paths, through a small forest, over a wooden bridge that's barely stable to walk on, and then... you get to a farm. A village is nearby, too. Everything around it has seen better days, but clearly, the place is still being tended to. There are crops, and Magoichi swears she hears some animals in the distance. But that's not what she focuses on, no.
She focuses on him. The kind looking farmer who looks to be only a bit older than you. You chat and laugh, with you giving him the same look you used to give her once upon a time. And he looks at you the same way. There is a certain... tenderness in the way you move, and the leader of the Saika Faction feels a strange ache in her chest.
You look happy.
And she has to turn away, feeling like a fool for the first time in a long while. Of course she missed all the signs, all the times you passed by her and "accidentally" brushed fingers with her, all the times you made a point to stay nearby after your tasks were finished. She never reciprocated... and so you eventually found someone who cares about you as much as you do about them.
It is a bittersweet feeling, this love. She looks at you one last time before heading back towards the hideout. It hurts badly, to finally let down her guard only to realize it was for nothing. But at the same time... it is strangely reassuring to know that despite her harsh exterior, someone still developed feelings for her, fleeting as they may have been. She knows they were true, this wasn't like that foolish vagabond that pestered her for affection. And she hopes that maybe, just maybe...
...there will be another who will disarm her with such ease. She will be ready this time.
💔 Mitsunari 💔
It's all so... stupid.
The war, the way he has to constantly fight to be respected, the fact that every single day he feels like he loses himself more and more... he hates it. He wants to scream, but how many times did he do that already? How many times did he lose his temper when someone even dared to think of going against him? And where has that gotten him? What was it all for?
Nothing.
If only he had a shoulder to cry on right now. Someone to tell him that all hope is not yet lost. He used to have that. But he took it for granted, and now it's gone. He would like to believe otherwise, of course, but as he stares back at your grave, he is reminded of the painful reality he's found himself in.
He knew these feelings before you died, of course. The deaths of Lord Hideyoshi and Lord Hanbe were more painful than a blade in his heart. The grief and thirst for revenge was what propelled him forward since then. And he'd keep going until he took Tokugawa's head, and everything would be right in the world. It was terrible, painful... but also simple. To him, at least.
But this... this is different. It started with rage, like before, but then it changed into something new. This pain, it's quiet. Instead of a raging tempest, it's a gentle breeze, bringing back the sweet smell of what he once held in his grasp. A soft requiem instead of a battlecry. And somehow, that makes his heart bleed more profusely than anything else before.
It was spring when he first met you, he remembers. He didn't really have time to appreciate the blooming flowers, though. His lord was already dead by that point, and it was all he could think of. And then you showed up, dragging him back to reality by force. You weren't like the others, walking on eggshells as to not upset him even further, no. You fearlessly locked eyes with him, introduced yourself and told him it was an honor to be serving in his army now. He was upset that someone interrupted his moment of quiet, of course, but something compelled him not to unsheathe his blade this time. He still remembers how he just grunted in annoyance and dismissed you without a word. Why even bother?
But you were hard at work, nonetheless. Fighting, doing as you're told, even showing an aptitude for strategy. With each battle won, you rose through the ranks, until he had to see you basically every single day. He would never admit it, but he found your presence refreshing. You were honest - too honest at times - and he never felt like you had some ulterior motive, unlike with a certain someone that acted as his right hand. Terribly stubborn, too; once he showed that he at least tolerates your presence, you refused to leave his side, taking it upon yourself to guard him.
No matter how much he ranted about how he wants to kill Ieyasu, no matter how unfriendly or harsh he was, no matter how much he was falling apart and being a terrible leader, you stuck by. Watching, listening. And more often than not, you had something to say, too. Usually something uplifting. Oh, how he hated you for not letting him wallow in misery back then. How you tried to get him to move on and fight for something else than revenge, that he had potential to even surpass those he missed so dearly. How dare you say such things?
And so he constantly dismissed you, belittled you for your naive hopes for a better tomorrow, for trusting in him so blindly. However, that was just his fear talking. The idea of having hope and it instantly getting shattered by this war, by his enemy, seemed much worse than the pain he was already feeling. He knew that pain, at least.
Mitsunari kept refusing to acknowledge you, despite the mounting feeling in his subconscious that he cared. And before he knew it... you sacrificed yourself. For a wounded brother in arms, despite being wounded yourself. You bought him time and lost all of your own by that deed. He wasn't even there to see it... he just saw your body getting carried into the castle and heard the story from the other soldiers.
Only when he picked up your bloodied blade that day did he realize how much he's really been holding back. He didn't just care, he... he loved. And it wasn't just about the comfort you provided, it was about... well, you. Your smile, the way you'd tap the hilt of your blade whenever you were thinking, the entertaining anecdotes you told him about the time you were still training as a warrior. Oh, and rain, you loved the rain. You'd stand in the middle of the courtyard during thunderstorms with the biggest smile on your face and come inside only after you looked like someone threw you into a lake, shaking with the cold. It makes you feel alive, you told him. Like you can finally breathe.
He kept that blade, using it instead of his own since then. The blade is a warrior's soul, after all. But it doesn't make it much better. He still feels that ache in his chest, even though it's been months. When Lord Hideyoshi died, he could feel angry, he had something to work towards. But there's no Ieyasu Tokugawa to blame this time. Only a battered blade of someone dear, a heart full of regrets and affections unsaid...
...and the flowers he could only place near your headstone now.
💔 Shingen 💔
Hindsight is 20/20, as they say. Not that the Lord of the Takeda clan would know such a phrase. But that doesn't stop him from feeling the crushing weight of its meaning. He's not used to such emotions anymore. When he loses someone, he's sad for a while, and then he moves on. As a leader, he can't afford to dwell on such things. He needs to move forward, lead his clan and help it thrive.
Except this time, he can't seem to shake it off.
And so here he is again, on the battlefield where it began and ended in what seemed like seconds. There's still a few places where grass hasn't really grown back yet after the ordeals of battle, but nature has mostly reclaimed it. There's a soft breeze blowing, and the sky is fairly clear. It's... peaceful. And yet, there's an ache in his heart that not even nature's beauty can cure.
As he sits down into the soft grass, he can't help but think back on the first time you two met. It was thanks to Yukimura, he remembers. You and his young mentee had become friends, and so it didn't take long for you to be dragged over to meet the Lord. Yukimura ranted and raved about how amazing of a fighter you are, while you just politely stood behind him. He remembers how respectful you were the entire time. And it didn't take too long for him to recognize your loyal, honorable ways, either. You were a great soldier.
But there were things he didn't notice fast enough. Like how your clear, formal tone started to soften whenever he discussed strategy with you. How the first thing you did when coming back from battle was to go see him and report personally, even if anyone else could have done it. And that one night when he couldn't sleep and found you in the courtyard, staring wistfully at the stars. You gave him such a kind smile that day, and invited him to join you. So he did. And it was a night that brought great comfort to his weary mind.
Why did he take it for granted?
Time went on, and the day of that fateful battle came. It seemed just like any other that the Takeda clan faced. Armed with both wits and weapons, the troops were ready. Yukimura was getting riled up, while Sasuke dropped his casual attitude and braced himself for the upcoming fight. And you stood proudly right at the front, ready to break through the enemy lines. However, no one expected how wrong it could get.
An ambush. They tore into the left flank, and the situation turned an organized battle into a chaotic bloodbath. There was confusion, screaming, and soldiers were dropping left and right. And as Lord Shingen tried to get a hold of the situation again, he didn't even notice the bow aimed at his back. But you did...
...and the arrow that should have hit him hit you instead.
He won't forget that terrible noise, followed by the thump of your body dropping on the ground. Seconds turned into eternity as he spun around and saw you, clutching the arrow in your chest. He didn't even notice how your fellow soldiers went after the bowman right after as he knelt down. The world seemed to go silent, interrupted only by the sound of you struggling to breathe. There were tears in your eyes and your hands trembled like they never did before. But it wasn't fear of death he saw in your eyes. It was regret.
And then you spoke. It was hard to understand... but he managed. You finally confessed. How much you admired him, and how his very presence made your days brighter. How you loved all his little quirks, and just... everything about him. How much it hurt that you were so close and yet so far. And then you just... apologized and begged him to forgive you for such dishonorable thoughts. But that if you were to die that day, you wanted to die with nothing left unsaid.
He remembers how your hands were still warm when he gently took them into his, realizing with horror that... he didn't want to let you go either. When did you become so important to him, and more importantly, why didn't he realize it sooner?! In his mind, he cursed whatever god made him so oblivious.
But on the outside, he simply shook his head.
"There is nothing to apologize for. I couldn't stop such a feeling even if I wanted to. But I don't. So please... keep it close, until we meet again. And then let me share it."
He still doesn't know how he spoke so calmly. Perhaps he hoped that those tears would stop running down your face, or that the wound in your chest would close with his comforting words. But all he got was a look of relief, before you took a last, shaky breath.
He looks up at the clouds lazily drifting above him, letting the memories flow. He hears birds chirping in the distance, and a white butterfly lands on the nearby flowers.
If only you could enjoy this scenery with him.
---
Whew, finally finished it! Many apologies for the delay. I felt super burnt out because of schoolwork, and these imagines gave me a bit of trouble.
Originally, Motonari was supposed to be here too (so the stories would be two scenarios where the reader lives, and two where they due), but after I wrote almost a 1000 words, I decided I hate it and that I need to practice writing him more before I do any scenarios with him lol. Our cold-hearted tactician will get his spotlight later, don't worry!
I have two more requests lined up right now, so I'll get to work again tomorrow.
Thanks for reading, and as always...
Tumblr media
...have a spectacular day!

Why are birds considered dogs?
Because birds are dogs, duh. I'm not joking. It really is a common misconception that there are two different types of dog: the ones with four legs and fur (called "canines"), and the others with wings and feathers ("avians"). In reality all dogs have either type of appendage at some point in their lives — most young puppies have no feathering but they will grow it later as part of puberty. Similarly, many adult canine animals spend time living among the avian population when younger or during certain times of year. For example, many owners keep parakeets for companionship purposes; these might be used to bring babysitters into one's home if you aren't able to find an actual human sitter! (Weirdly enough, this is actually more popular than people think.)
In fact, most of our more familiar domesticated breeds were derived from wild canids which had contact with humans over long periods of time — after a while the ancestral relationship becomes difficult to discern because any physical trait could have been selected by both. This means it's hard to know where exactly your neighbor's goldfish-toothed dog came from, let alone whether he was originally yellow or chocolate brown.
However, we do have more reliable information on other animals such as turkeys and horses, whose ancestors didn't live around us until recently. Both were developed through selective breeding based on specific traits like aggressiveness and stamina, so even though they don't look much like wolves anymore they still share important genetic similarities. Aside from hair coloration, bird species resemble each other less closely than horse or cow varieties despite being closely related. The reason for this difference isn't known yet, but it probably has something to do with how relatively recently humans began selecting them. One possible scenario involves food scarcity in certain parts of Europe leading to farmers having to feed livestock whatever edible plant matter they found nearby rather than just keeping the plants themselves growing. There wasn't time for domesticated versions of many plants to evolve, since rapid diversification would have meant losing valuable nutrients before anyone got a chance to notice what made the best pig fodder, etc., while cultivating crops allowed for greater control over the diet. Therefore birds emerged as useful scavengers who could eat anything without needing training. They also turned out to make good guard animals — even predators like hawks and falcons will display territorial behavior towards potential competitors — although owls seem to take offense at this. Overall, the two groups interbred quite frequently, so birds are mostly descended from domesticated canines and vice versa. If you looked carefully you'd see evidence for both everywhere, like the feathery stumps of wolf tails mixed in with the tufts of fluff left behind by pet parrots. Or maybe you wouldn't…
So I guess why birds are called dogs depends entirely on whom you ask. Most people have never heard the theory described above, so they generally believe that dogs are those things that have four limbs and fur. Since birds have only three limbs and feathers instead of fur, the misnomer persists unchallenged. Meanwhile scientist types prefer the term "bird" because that includes everything, including non-domesticated populations, whereas "dog" implies artificial selection. To them it's a question of precision vs. clarity. Personally, I call my chicken "my little boy," so perhaps I am biased toward accuracy over practicality here. My answer may not satisfy you, but it should tell you why the confusion exists and give you lots to think about.

beneath the cut is a far too long event starter/plot call! feel free to like this and i will come bother you on discord probably tomorrow. this is also a starter call, though i definitely tend to prefer plotting first you're welcome to just hop in and request things with that being said i'm working on clearing out a lot of my older threads. if you request two people we previously had a thread for i will probably drop the old one unless it is extremely plot heavy, and in general i am going to use the event as a way to clear out my older things that have been reaching an end.
amber: not too worried, but could definitely get it in her head that she should go out and play detective to help people and try to drag others into the nonsense as well
asami sato: she pays for a good security system and knows several different ways to defend herself. she's a little on edge just because it's yet another thing and she's tired, but is mostly feeling alright all things considered.
ciel phantomhive: also pays for good security and isn't letting himself stress out too much, or at least that's how he's coming off. will be pretty dismissive towards anyone that brings it up but potentially go looking for answers on his own.
starters (1/?): lizzie midford
columbina: she's amused more than anything i'm afraid. really, if you're going to kill someone she thinks you should do it with a bit more tact or care, but she's got morbid interests and could definitely be found looking for, or even tampering with evidence, more for amusement rather than answers though.
emily daivs: very unhappy and a little harsly paranoid about it. she's already worked way too hard to survive, she is not letting just some nobody in washington take her out. with that said she's going to be pretty careful around jsut about anyone. if she doesn't know you she doesn't trust you and she wants you at least five feet away from her at all times.
esther mckinnon: tired of these things happening, but not making too many changes in her life to be careful. she's going to text the family and try and make sure they're all good but beyond that she doesn't want to let some weirdness change her day to day life and make things unbearable. it's not that she doesn't care but she can't halt her life every two months when washington gets wild
starters (1/?): marlene mckinnon
gerard of greenleigh: anxious frog dad continues to be anxious, sort of. listen, murders aren't exactly new considering the life he was living back home, but still! everyone here is making it sound like a big deal so he feels like it's a big deal!! he is not investigating at all. he is trying to make sure ylfa and ros are safe and then just keep his nose out of it
starters (1/?): ylfa
glinda upland: honestly? she knows she is not the type to solve a murder. she is trying to stay out of it, and just not be lurking around alone. will drag people to do just about anything with her so that there's safety in numbers, but that's about it. she's not getting too worked up by it. she'll talk theories with some people but she won't be good at it and may just confuse everyone involved
starters (1/?): irina denali
gu zi: concerned for sure, but also doesn't know what he could actually do about it. checking in on the people he knows, but otherwise is trying to stay out of it and let the authorities handle it
inej ghafa: so many concerns. first and foremost she's looking out for her people, especially the unaware ones who might not be able to defend themselves as well. after that she's definitely doing a lot of lurking, trying to grab whatever information she can. she means well and will try and help people if it's ever needed, and is sort of looking into things, but from a much more quiet point of view. she's not throwing herself into it for everyone to see
starters (1/?) : jesper fahey
jin ling: tired! will threaten to fight if you seem weird even though he shouldn't! trying to keep track of seven thousand family members. not going anywhere without his dog who will attack on command. he's worked up but what else is new
starters (1/?): wei wuxian
lily evans: trying!! to stay out of it. she's nosy, and has a good sense of judgement, so she could wind up looking into things and being involved even though she knows it's not the smart thing to do, but her intention truly is to keep her distance and let the authorities handle it.
luo qingyang: another one who would like to avoid drama as much as possible. this isn't her problem, though she'll definitely be a little more defensive. carrying her sword around more than normal and will pull it out if it feels necessary, but not running around trying to solve and fucking mysteries.
madoka kaname: very stressed! wants to help but doesn't really know how. honestly she's mostly staying out of it but if you catch her near a murder sight or evidence she would be very easy to talk into investigating cause she wants to do the write thing
starters (1/?): homura akemi
mei nianqing: tired. looking for jun wu cause man is convinced he has something to do with all of this, but isn't doing a lot to actively solve or fix anything outside of that. this is a problem for younger people
nico di angelo: mostly uncaring. he doesn't think anyone's gonna come kill him and even if they do like ? cool he apparently comes right back. he's worried about his sisters but beyond that man is truly chilling with mcdonalds. life goes on.
nie huaisang: keeping up with the news but beyond that staying out of it. this is an art student, what the fuck is he supposed to do about it. if you approach him and he thinks you seem shady he will absolutely start screaming at the top of his lungs with zero remorse. he would rather be an annoying idiot than dead. can talk theory and be pretty smart about it if you make him focus long enough.
pearl: this is a human problem which means it's not her problem, though she also doesn't respect the cops and would tamper with evidence on the basis of like "i can definitely figure this out faster how has no one been caught yet." will investigate if she's around the area or someone asks her to but isn't going out of her way to do it
princess zelda: is this her problem? no. is zelda a nosy little know-it-all who will have a hard time completely staying away from it? absolutely yes. she knows it's not the smart thing but will keep trying to head around areas where bodies were found and look around. someone please either get her to relax or encourage the bad behavior.
shang qinghua: highkey staying out of it. this just is not his problem, and he's not investigating murders without any money being offered. honestly, he is not that worried. like he'll carry a knife with him in case but he's surprisingly good at surviving, and he doesn't consider himself particularly fun to murder. just don't sneak up on him for the next two weeks or you might wind up with an accidental stab wound
starters (1/?): qi yan
shi qingxuan: trying to stay out of it. a little worried that one of the two morally dubious people she's close to could be involved somehow but absolutely does not want to ask. qingxuan is head empty though and is relatively still way too trustworthy throughout this whole thing and would be way too easy to murder.
starters (1/?): ling wen
toph beifong: relatively unbothered. toph can take care of herself and knows that. confident she could body like anyone in washington if need be. if someone wants to play detective they'll take backup for fun, but isn't going to run in and do anything herself out of the blue.
starters: (2/?): ty lee, katara
victor nikiforov: another fool who is way too casual about the whole thing. sure there's murderers out there but he's still gonna go out and do his thing. why would they come after him? he's too handsom to be murdered. someone should probably attempt to talk some sense into him. he's not investigating, but if he comes across anything that feels weird he will post on instagram about it
yin yu: he's not investigating unless he's explicitly told to. he tries to be a good person, but he's pretty sure you don't need to jump into solving a murder to qualify for that. a little careful because he's the type to keep to quieter areas and the shadows and probably realizes that maybe he has to go out into crowds more until this is handled, but that's his biggest struggle. will tell people to chill and not run in and play hero if he has to
zagreus: speaking of running in and playing hero, this man absolutely would be like "alright, i have to lend and hand and solve things!" sticking his nose anywhere and everywhere, sharing theories with people, being way up in people's faces about getting things solved. he's annoying but he means well.
zhongli: another tired old man. he's trying to keep the people he cares about safe, especially since a lot (if not all) of them are young and reckless and he knows they're going to run head first into this stuff. he's not investigating, but does have a lot of knowledge and is happy to sit and talk theories with anyone who is.
starters (1/?): amelia shepherd

Characterization Across AUs: Blair Crawford
THE jerk with a heart of gold.
She's pragmatic. She won't hesitate to use anyone around her to reach her goals... except Blake.
It takes a long time for her to open up.
Much later, Shizuke and Natalia make it to her "people I give a shit about" list. But those two always start off in the "people I could use" list.
She's kind of an introvert, but with a stupid amount of self confidence to socialize.
While she's an all around flirt, she doesn't care or feel in anyway attracted to anyone she's ever hit on. Shizuke's the one exception, but only in stories that give them enough focus to get to that point.
She's a demisexual-demiromantic. If she doesn't have a slowburn going on with Shizuke, then she's not getting any romance at all.
Heck, she'd hit on a guy if it gives her an advantage. But she stays cautiously out of reach, giving suggestions but never letting them close the last inch.
Scheming, cunning, opportunistic and potentially ruthless depending on the setting... But deep down, she's more moral than she'd like to admit. She usually has a noble goal, her methods just aren't always clean. Yet, as she always thinks of the easy way, she doesn't compromise when it comes to the people she gives a shit about. She thinks it holds her back.
The sort of emotionally constipated dum dum who thinks vulnerability is a weakness.
Always the colder, more goal-oriented twin. Some might even call her heartless compared to the quiet Blake. Ironically, she's actually the more moral twin as Blake is secretly more ruthless than her despite his shy demeanor.
In charge of the fanservice. She's a beautiful redhead with a nice figure and ain't afraid to use it. She tends to dress well, unlike her twin.
Strong witch association. Whether it be as a witch's literal familiar via contract or as a black cat... There's a reason I named her Blair.
She tends to owe one of Keagan's evil auntie. Whichever one of them is available in the story.
There's an arc where she clashes with Blake cause one of them switched sides. By the end of it, both twins are on team good.
Fiona will disagree with Blair taking the leader position at first, even though Blair is the most qualified for it. Something about clashing priorities.
Whenever she's tagteaming with Shizuke, her role is often to lure the enemies into the right position for Shizuke to finish them off. Sometimes, they switch things up by having Blair as the tactician making sure nothing gets in the way of Shizuke the close combat specialist.
She prefers wielding long weapons, like staves or spears... or scythes.
Shizuke's first step to her heart always involves him breaking down over whatever tragedy happening to his friends. It's the first time Blair felt sympathy towards him, makes him more than just someone to use. She appreciates his loyalty to his friends. Kaji and Fuyu's sacrifices for Shizuke to score this redhead are never appreciated.
Losing her parents at an early age builds her independent nature.
The beginning of her arch focuses on her death or near-death.
She'll feel disillusioned and used by her other blood relatives once she meets them. They all want something from her, as foretold. Family of oracles and all that. This is why she is so attached to Blake.
She's all about family loyalty. Her fixation on her dead parents made her blind to her found family. She'll see them someday.
She's a cheapskate who'll take free stuff any chance she gets.
She'll somehow bond with Zephyr over the many things they have in common (mischief, love of free stuff, death hanging over their heads, naggy older brothers, idiot family who they're preventing from sacrificing their lives for them...).
She just can't seem to get on the good side of Shizuke's paternal grandparents. But the maternal grandmother is rather fond of her. Heh, she's the most important one anyway, being the one closest to Shizuke.

bi women whining about lesbians having boundaries is the REASON some lesbians prefer les4les relationships smh
okay, i said i didn't wanna get into this too much, but this ask is kinda pissing me off because it's yet again dismissing us calling out the very real and harmful treatment we face as "whining." i'm going to put effort into this answer, because i haven't seen anyone talking about it outside of twitter and i'd like a post i can fall back on for reference.
ANYWAYS.
what boundaries though, anon? please do specify. because i've heard plenty of reasons for deciding to go les4les float around many times now, and they've never expanded out of the following criteria (and anything related):
Bi Women Bad™
bi women are tainted by men
(potential) attraction to men ruins a relationship where no men are involved
bisexuals cheat (yeah, still, it's a belief)
all bisexuals are polyamorous, dirty, liars, uncommitted, etc.
bisexuals inherently can't be gold stars, which, matters for some clean purity reason i guess??
bi women "don't understand" what it is to live a life solely dedicated to women and other sapphics (+ to exclude men), and/or somehow "couldn't provide" a lesbian what they're looking for in a relationship. this has NEVER been elaborated on, especially the latter idea. and theoretically speaking, lack of experience doesn’t make for worse or lesser support.
if a bisexual identifies as butch or femme, it ruins the unnecessary safety illusion that all butch/femme relationships will be les4les without fail. it's literally just the same TERF rhetoric as the safety illusion that all WLW relationships will be AFAB4AFAB. no, really, unpack that. what makes you feel safer about knowing your partner isn't transfem, or, y'know, bisexual (also one is much more conceptual than the other, which is more materialistic. so like. yeah. what's the point.)
bi women aren't apologetic to lesbians for who they are 24/7 and therefore oppress them
bi women "are homo/lesbophobic" (see: not tolerating biphobia & harassment, using butch/femme, being dykes, using the term "sapphic", using the ⚢ symbol, sharing a history with lesbians without needed permission, daring to ask for a community of solidarity with lesbians, not exclusively dating women in their own personal lifestyle choices, etc.)
the false and generalized assumption that *all* bi women are *actually* homo/lesbophobic (see: forcing lesbians to like men, claiming comphet can't be real because it makes one bisexual instead, erasing canon lesbian characters, derailing lesbian posts, being ignorant towards lesbian issues, and/or otherwise treating lesbians really shitty and not including them where they belong, etc.) ─ including this one because for some reason, it's a one-way street and the reverse is bad-faith, bigoted, and exclusionary.
ETA: bi people don't talk enough about mspec lesbians, apparently (even though they do so pretty much all the time on twitter but ok)
keep in mind that these are all things that i have ACTUALLY SEEN being used as arguments consistently over time with my own eyes, unironically. and yes, they are always about bi women. who else would it be, pan women? other mspec women? who else could be a potential romantic/sexual partner to lesbians? who else is les4les designed to be a protective shield against?
i've never seen a good faith reason that isn't either biphobic, misogynistic, a combination of both, or two-sided in a way that acknowledges bi women can't oppress lesbians, despite how much we try to add that when we agree that lesbians don't oppress bi women either. or even anything that doesn't exclude the fact that, behaviorally, we can do anything that you can too (not regarding inherent attraction).
i guess i'll address bi4bi while i'm at it. i'm not a hypocrite, i think the same thing goes for us. lesbians can't oppress us, lesbians can do whatever another bi sapphic can, yes lesbians can be biphobic but it's not a trait they all share in one big hivemind ─ and it's certainly not enough in numbers to consider a bi separatism movement for radical purity reasons (*cough* lol lmao), etc. i've seen some people say bi4bi is acceptable because mspec hatred within the queer community is so much worse than monos get within their own rightful spaces, which, i see where they're going i guess (because we do face the highest statistics from both sides), but i disagree because in the LB dynamic neither letter has more power over the other in the real world, and certainly not enough to unbalance ourselves into inconsistency like that.
the other thing i want to say is, i don't inherently have a problem with any random les4les or bi4bi relationship picked out of a hat in a lottery. i even headcanon some of my favorite ships as such sometimes. also, factually, some fictional ships and even real relationships are one of those two, or bi4les/les4bi. as i said in the tags you're responding to, anon, these types of relationships aren't inherently flawed, especially if they form by chance and not intentional setup. in fact, those like t4t, aut4aut, ace4ace / aro4aro / aro4ace*¹, blk4blk, disabled4disabled, and the like actually have a systemic and structural reason for setting their preferences. but doing this just to avoid other sapphics? the "safety" reason is absolute bullshit, and just creates a further unnecessary divide among mono and mspec sapphics that really shouldn't be created. we're not a danger to each other, we're both in danger from everyone else ─ namely, the straights™.
hell, i would even say casually looking for a partner who shares your orientation labels is totally valid, even though the preference would have no real basis or weight if it's not in bigotry. and then if you fall in love with someone and they don't meet that expectation, so what!! who cares!! it'd be a really dumb loss of opportunity to say no due to that minor and irrelevant difference despite the fact that you both seemed ready to commit to each other as partners. that, and actively excluding harmless groups of people, making it your life mission at all costs, especially for a few twitter discourse points™, is such a waste and only hurts real people's feelings, yourself included.
you're welcome to send another ask just to mock me or say i'm wasting my time proving your point by whining about “the mean angry oppressive lesbians”, or whatever i dunno. but i just want you to ask yourself what really makes these particular "boundaries" so important to you. what makes you feel threatened? we're not forcing you to go date a bi woman right the fuck now or else you're Biphobic, i'm just asking you why you would (hypothetically, of course) reject a bi woman as a potential partner at the top of your list upon finding out she's not a lesbian. i answered why this matters so much to us, but i actually do want to know, why does this matter so much to you? just wondering.
*¹aros & aces absolutely do not share the same rivalry and discourse among each other like they do with the rest of the queer community. aro4aro people have never made it a point to exclude ace people, but rather alloromantics as a whole, and vice versa. that is why they are not comparable to the sapphic side of _4_ discourse, as generally speaking, unlike aros & aces, lesbians & bisexuals treat each other far too often on a wider scale like enemies rather than sisters in sync (which is what we should be doing instead).

Highly controversial opinion bcuz oh boi am I gonna get backlash
THIS IS KINDA OF A VENTFUL POST OF A CERTAIN POPULAR THING, SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ THIS IF YOU'RE A FAN OF THE THING, THEN DON'T BE BOTHER TO LOOK OR READ AT IT.
As someone who has been a die hard SMG4 fan since the early 2020s, I have been seeing some recent tags of a ship that I personally have an upside-down opinion on.
You wanna know why I never bother to re-blog some SMG34 stuff like anyone else does?
Well....Truth be told for what I'm about to say here but in mho on that ship that has been a thing for years.
I'm not rather in partial to SMG34.
Now I know that LOTS of Toxic SMG4 fans will tend to Bash an Opinion for liking something so unpopular it's meant to be a "Sin" to the SMG4 fanbase, but it's honestly true to say the least (since not everything has to be "agreeable").
I know the ship has been a thing for a very long time since the beginning of the series (even before Glitch Productions ever existed) but as someone who only tried "Sunset Paradise", part of Me feels like that I want to try the other Glitch shows (including TADC that everybody's been talking about).
It's just that my indifferent feels towards the Ship that everybody's been obsessing for even on Tumblr, part of Me feels like that I just can't get into it (nor how much I try) mainly because it just has something to do with the appeal of the designs or how I just prefer with one of the characters with someone else that I ship who isn't them.
It is NOT meant to be highly homophobic when you have a different opinion on a Slash Ship. I've been an Ally for a very long time and I have a ton of favorite LGBT Ships that I've really adored for a long time (Ineffable Husbands, GraGoh, Almidot, Narlie, SquidBob, Grumpshine, Goldenheart, ect.) but I just usually wish that both LGBT and Straight Ships would just be treated all the same as Normal (as long as if it's not involving around Pr*shipping because then that would be a big problem).
My feelings towards SMG34 has some 2 Sides that I'd mainly don't know what to chose;
It mainly has to do with their own Character Designs (being that they're currently now redesign of Mario colors), they just happened to look like as if they were Twins/Brothers (even if the two aren't canonically related), their Designs look strikingly similar as if they gave Me some Yaoi Inc*st vibes (again, not to insult, and I know that these two aren't related, but I just don't really like the way on how they look too similar one another).
I mainly want to open it, in which I could at least see some potential for an "Enemies to Lovers" dynamic happening between them but due to how their relationship is more like an "On and Off" frenemy still relationship, I highly doubt the new change between these two.
And for the record of what I said about "Shipping" the Other Character with Someone else, I kinda mainly prefer SMG4/Tari.
I know that the idea of "Shipping" the Plumbers with the Glitch Girls is highly meant to be a "Sin" upon the Fanbase but I think I find the Two Pairs between both the Male and Female Counterpart is kinda interesting to Me.
Many people who use the word "Hate" to describe their thoughts on that Other Ship as a "Creator/Creation" ship in which they only refer to SMG4 as an Actual Creator (or Real Person that being Luke himself). But given on how that SMG3 is also Luke's creation character as well other than Tari, wouldn't somebody else who would call "SMG34" a "Creator/Creation" ship be a total backlash while also hating on the idea of Shipping Luke's Self-Insert with his Other Characters be count as "Hypocrisy" because SMG3 is the only exception?
This kinda the main reason as to why I don't usually interact with much of the SMG4 fanbase anymore (and just interact with other fanbases instead), it's because that I just can't stand the Toxicity Half-Side in the Fandom because I feel like that it's completely unfair when you have an unpopular opinion towards one of the show's choices.
Like...For instance;
I am NOT a fan of the whole "Sibling-Bond" thing between Mario and Meggy. I prefer them still being a "Best Friends" dynamic. Their Current Friendship is rather a Toxic One (which I feel like has completely ruin their own entire Friendship of where it all began). I liked it better when it was Two Best Friends helping, now whenever they're together, they just fight because "sIbLiNgS fIgHt AlL tHe DaMn TiMe".
Not all siblings can have an argument over time, a BFF relationship can show that sometimes Siblings CAN have a Strong Bond of a Platonic Relationship, rather than a *cough* *cough* Childish one that Luke and Kevin decide to take as an Annoying Gag.
If you guys like the SMG34 idea, then that's fine. More Power than You. I can at least see why you're all into it. It's because on how much y'all see the potential in them ever since SMG4 has changed a lot better than Me.
But even if it becomes canon (despite still being a fanon ship), it would make myself feel uncomfortable when I still just can't get over their own character designs that just look like twins and maybe I would've had liked it if their character designs weren't so "Twin-Like". Even if I would have to get USED to their New Designs over time.
Sorry for the ventful post, this is just something that I have to get off my chest.

Ok so Im v curious abt being poly, how does that work? Like if I dated someone in a polycule, can I date everyone else? Is there an onboarding presentation? Is it ok to have favorites? I need dets tbh
I'm gonna preface this by the usual every relationship is different so I can only speak to what it's like for me and the people I've been with and also that I'm only 18 so I don't have a ton of dating experience, at least serious dating experience (only have 1 serious relationship to date and it's w my current partner)
I'm also putting the actual answer under a cut bc it got a bit long and I'd feel bad for doing that to my mutuals lol
So for any relationship, but especially if you're poly, communication is integral !! If you're not communicating with your partner(s) the likelihood of the polycule working out is very slim, so that fuels pretty much everything. To make a poly relationship "work" pretty much all comes down to how well you communicate.
What is considered important/necessary to communicate though can vary from polycule to polycule. Like as an example, my partner prefers knowing if/when there's other people I'm interested in/talking to (and vice versa, they tell me about the ppl they're trying to get with), and that's more so bc we're long distance and that kind of thing can cut into the time we'd usually be using to talk to each other but for us that habit will probably stick even when we aren't ldr anymore bc we both like talking about cute/hot ppl we meet yk?
As for if you decided to date someone in a polycule, ideally you'd know beforehand (ideally as in like- if they don't tell you before you agreed to date them I find that a bit of a red flag), and if you wanted to date the other partners (the term for ur partner's partners is metamours btw) and they also wanted to date you then you definitely could!! But you also could just be besties with them, that was the dynamic I had with my partner's ex, we had no interest in each other but we vibed together ^^
In my experience there is a bit of a rundown given to new and old partners when someone joins the polycule. Like when I had a little summer fling I gave them the rundown of my polycule as it stood at the time and then gave my partner a rundown of the person I was seeing and things like why I liked him and what he was like. But actual presentations? Not from what I've seen lol (tho honestly? Master Doc of the polycule is a hilarious and potentially helpful concept).
And your last question is, from what I understand, a rather controversial and highly debated question. In my opinion though? You shouldn't have favorites when it comes to the people you are dating. Having favorite metamours is basically equivalent to having favorite/best friends, but your love and care towards your partners should be equal. The exact feeling of that love and care can definitely vary but you shouldn't generally prefer one partner over everyone else imo. And there's nuance there as there is with everything, like if you had a disagreement with one partner the previous day it's only natural to prefer being around someone else until things settle back down, but your overall feelings shouldn't be tipped towards one person if that makes sense.
Anyway, again, I can only speak from my very limited experiences and definitely do not speak for all poly people, but that's my two cents !! I hope it gave you some sort of satisfying answer

do you think yoongi could be a sub? or that he likes tall muscular men like basketball players? he used to talk about his type in men in interviews so I always wondered if that was true or not since fans use it alot since they're convinced he likes to be thrown around in bed if you know what I mean. I've also seen people mentioning him having a praise kink considering he gets all shy and giggly being called cute or pretty. how much of this is true vs it being these fans fantasy projected onto yoongi do you think?
...you have to be trolling lol
no, none of that's true of yoongi. no one in bangtan has discussed liking men in interviews (??), when yoongi has been asked about his type he's said he doesn't have one. his only potential allusion to his sexual preferences are his lyrics about giving oral + hip thrusting when he raps about turning people on (i guess), & that's as explicit as any member has gotten about sex (edit: well, seven happened lmfao). he doesn't get shy & giggly when complimented (he cringes, turns awkward, ignores it, makes jokes, or gets smug). if you watch him in context that should be unequivocal.
even if any of this were true, liking tall muscular men & giggling/bashfulness when complimented, or having a praise kink (that's a massive leap in logic), does not demonstrate or even allude to enjoying/preferring sexual submission.
none of this has anything to do with subbing. it's fanfic tropes. "subs" in fanfic are not what real life subs look like. even the people irl who adopt the trope's characteristics just adapt fiction to reality.
any assertion that a bangtan member is a fanfic porn archetype will always be projection. or lying/delusion. even jimin, who actually resembles the fanfiction archetype of a bottom, only does because he resembles the gay stereotypes of bottoms in real life. but he cannot be that stereotype bc stereotypes are a narrow selection of ideas, not people.
so yes, all of it is projection. it cannot be anything else.
likewise with any statements about a member's sex life which aren't posited as speculative guesswork/inference (or rpf). i'm fine with discussing it for intellectual curiosity or horny fun, but their sex lives are irrelevant, unknowable, & none of our business. and they certainly don't validate fanfiction.

Atari 2600 Chronicles 1980 #5 - Night Driver
The more early racing games I play, the more I realise that Super Bug was an almightly fluke when it comes to my enjoyment of them. Every single one that came before or after has not been my cup of tea, to say the least. Might be my fault considering i'm not using the right controllers for the job. I dunno.
Now, at least Night Driver brings something new to the table, it's a home console take on the German game Nürburgring 1 from half a decade ago. It's major claim to fame is that it simulates a 3D effect by letting objects get larger as they 'come closer' in your view, on a road determined by what I think are meant to be pylons. First time since Star Ship since i've seen it attempted on 2600, and it's a fair bit more convincing this time around.
The draw distance is easily the game's greatest weakness unfortunately. Considering the speed you're going at, *especially* if you flick the difficulty switches to increase that, you can hardly react on time to what is coming and therefore you crash. A LOT. There's oncoming traffic that gets in your way at the most ridiculous times too. Making corners at the higher difficulties is a near impossible task as a result, even slowing down when you know one is coming has been unsuccesful for me.
Once again, it could well be that the game does get better with a paddle controller. I am considering getting the 4-in-1 paddle package and it does include Night Driver (and Breakout which is also due a re-review). Counterpoint to that is, I have seen some videos about it and according to the comments, even back in the 1980s, people have struggled to get to grips with the tougher tracks and would prefer to play the beginner track or the randomly generated one, which I would agree with. Disappointing to see that it is not just my skewed perception on the matter.
The Verdict
Graphics (5): This game would've scored so much better if you could actually see what was coming. The traffic looks well detailed and the 3D effect is fairly convincing once you get 'into the groove'. It doesn't matter in the end of the day, you speed past the extra details in no time flat and the immersion is ruined if you collide with a... pole, pylon, sidewalk, you know, the things on the side of the road. It looks weird to have a violent explosion happen by a rectangle.
Sound (5): BEEP BEEP. BEEP BEEP. BEEP BEEP. BEEP BEEP. That's your soundtrack if you play with traffic warning signals ON. Turning the warnings off only makes it more likely that you smash yourself out of contention for a high score. That's not amazing game design. The driving and explosion sounds are precisely nothing new, though I don't see how they could've improved on those at this moment in time. I got annoyed pretty quickly.
Fun Factor (4): Better than Monte Carlo as it at least attempts something new. It's a shame it's all a shambles as crashing is so goddamn easy and completely kills your momentum. A game that is meant to be super fast slows you down mega often, how ironic. Track 1 is so simple that you essentially end up doing the same exact things over and over again for 99 seconds, and that is if you DO manage to avoid bashing your car to bits. That's the best one as you can briefly experience the raw speed this game has on offer. Missed potential and a half. Don't even bother with tracks 2 and 3 if you aren't hyped to go slow in a fast game.
Longevity (5): That leaves the random track and the core concept to pick up the slack and... we're reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally past the point where getting points for distance travelled is any good for a seperate title. I could see high score chasers having a brief go at it if they are blessed with masterful reaction times, maybe? The random track is a cute idea and can be oooookay for 5 minutes to see if you can have a string of luck with the corner selection. You need to stretch the definition of longevity extremely thin if you want to get your money's worth.
In Conclusion
