LET'S TALK ABOUT WHO LOKI CHOOSES

I've previously discussed romantic tropes in the Loki series in my meta here. This meta supports the former by counting each of Loki's decisions with each of Loki's love interests (Sylvie and Mobius) and where those decisions occur in the progression of the overall story of S1 and S2 combined. The end of S1 is the midpoint of the whole story. Bear this in mind as I track how Loki's decision-making shifts. You can even choose to view Loki's decision-making with respect to Mobius as platonic if you want. It doesn't change the plot, count, or character development.

I have to give Sylvie attention and credit where it is due. To not do so would not only ignore her legitimate importance in the series and Loki's development, but it would also undermine my own credibility as an essayist. Feel free to comment, but here are my ground rules: no hate and no yucking other people's yum.

S1E1: Loki chooses himself. We could make the argument Loki chooses to trust Mobius here, but I don't think we see Loki start to like Mobius as a person until S1E2.

S1E2: Loki straddles between choosing himself and choosing to help Mobius because he actually wants to. It helps that the latter serves self-preservation. Loki most obviously chooses himself when he bullshits Mobius at the RenFaire. His choice is more gray when proposing the apocalypse theory. To be conservative, I won't count this in Mobius's favor. However, I feel fairly confident Loki chooses to help Mobius (1) sift through the possible apocalypses because of this genuine reaction:

Loki is starved for praise. He's a centuries-old god for goodness sakes.

When a third option presents itself at Roxxcart, Loki chooses himself and Sylvie (1).

S1E3: Loki chooses to: 1.) help Sylvie through "attempting diplomacy" with the widow (2), 2.) help Sylvie with his "shit plan" disguise (3), 3.) be vulnerable with Sylvie on the train (4), 4.) sing Sylvie a song (5), 5.) help Sylvie get to the arc (6).

S1E4: Loki chooses to comfort Sylvie by holding her hand; their feelings for each other trigger a giant Nexus Event (7). Loki chooses to tell Mobius the truth about the TVA; if he didn't care about Mobius, he would have withheld this information (2). Loki chooses to trust Mobius (3). Loki chooses to reciprocate Mobius’s feelings of friendship (4). Loki chooses, with Mobius, to find and rescue Sylvie (8). Loki chooses to combat Renslayer with Sylvie (9). Loki chooses to confront the Timekeepers with Sylvie and gets pruned (10).

S1E5: Loki chooses to share a blanket with Sylvie (11). Loki chooses to stay in the Void and follow Sylvie to the end of time, "Where you go, I go" (12). Loki chooses to hug Mobius (5). Loki chooses to trust Sylvie's insistence that he intrinsically knows how to enchant (13).

S1E6 (THE MIDPOINT): The confrontation with HWR is tricky. Loki chooses to slow down and think about the consequences because he's learned the value of slowing down and thinking from Mobius (6). Loki chooses to kiss Sylvie back (I realize this is debatable for many Lokius fans, but I'm not going to argue this; 14)

S2 NOTES: For the sake of my own sanity, I am not counting Loki's unconscious and conscious timeslipping. You can refer to the counts for that in my meta here. I will also not be counting the near-infinite number of loops Loki refuses to kill Sylvie for "the good of the multiverse."

S2E1: Loki chooses to seek out Mobius for help (7). Loki chooses to be vulnerable with Mobius in the hallway (8). Loki chooses to trust Mobius's judgment that they only have one shot at stopping the timeslipping (9).

S2E2: Loki chooses to protect Mobius from Brad (10). Loki chooses to help Mobius reverse-engineer Brad's TemPad (11). Loki chooses to comfort Mobius in the pie automat (12). Loki chooses to follow Mobius's intimidation plan for Brad (13). Loki chooses to convince Sylvie to join his and the TVA's cause (Sylvie declines #1; 15). Loki chooses to hold hands with Sylvie to combine their blast power (16). Loki chooses to follow Mobius back to the TVA (14). Loki chooses to ask Sylvie to stay and help (Sylvie declines #2; 17). Loki chooses to comfort Mobius in the Control Room (15).

S2E3: Loki chooses to humor Mobius's sightseeing (16). Loki chooses to try cracker jack (and hates it; 17). Loki chooses to prioritize the Loom per Mobius’s advisement (18). Loki chooses to give into Mobius's tandem bike request (19). Loki chooses to plead with Sylvie to spare Timely and asks for her help (NOTE: this is Loki's 3rd request; writers love the significance of threes and Sylvie turns Loki down all three times; 18).

S2E4: Loki chooses to defend Mobius in the Pie Automat (20). Loki chooses to compare (through implication) Thor's relationship with Jane with his relationship with Mobius (21). Loki chooses to use this same comparison to assure Sylvie that her mercy on Timely was an act of mercy for all people on all timelines (19).

S2E5: Loki chooses to look for Mobius in the Pie Automat (22). Loki chooses to look for Mobius in the Control Room (23). Loki chooses to recruit Mobius (24). Loki chooses to quote Mobius's "form and function" to Don (25), Loki chooses to help Mobius through the time door (26). Loki chooses to promise Don (Mobius) that he can return him to any point in time (27). Loki chooses to recruit Sylvie (20; she turns him down a 4th time). Loki chooses to argue with Sylvie that Mobius should have a choice (28). Loki chooses to listen to Sylvie that his friends are better off without the TVA (21). Loki chooses to let Don go for Mobius’s own good (29). Loki chooses to control timeslipping upon hearing Sylvie say "Do you think what makes a Loki a Loki is that we're destined to lose?" (22). Loki chooses to rewrite the story to save Sylvie and Mobius (23 / 30, respectively).

S2E6: Loki chooses to reenact all of Mobius's small gestures of kindness even though they cost precious time: he chooses to hold Victor's glasses (31), he chooses to compliment OB's "not to scale" model (32), he chooses to recite an abbreviated version of his and Mobius's bickering over "who's in the suit?" (33), he chooses to finish Mobius's joke about taking OB's job (34). He chooses to seek out Past Mobius for guidance and comfort (35). He chooses to shake Mobius's hand (36). He chooses to talk Sylvie out of killing HWR (24). He chooses to sacrifice himself to save Sylvie and Mobius (25 / 37, respectively). He chooses to listen (and watch?) to Mobius say, "Let time pass" (38).

If I missed any decision points for either Sylvie or Mobius, let me know and I'll update the meta and counts accordingly.

Ultimately, Loki's sacrifice is for BOTH Mobius AND Sylvie. BOTH ships are important to the narrative and Loki. However, between the two of them, there is only one person who has consistently chosen Loki since S1E1, never rejected Loki and his requests for help, and who has, in turn, unknowingly been chosen by Loki in kind. Rewind

I definitely published this a bit out of order but bare with me

“Hello Team Niall.” Niall introduced as they all waved and greeted him back. “Well, I've got a bit of news for you. Because of my concert schedule, I actually won't be in town for knockout rehearsals.” Everyone was shocked… and rightfully so. “Because I won't be there, I've chosen another coach to come in and mentor you guys for rehearsal.” Everyone started to freak out wondering who on earth it might be.

“And they have been in your place before so I think they’ve got exactly what you need.”

The scene changed to the all too familiar practice room with an empty directors chairs. The sounds of steps progressively got louder until the special person appeared.

“I'M BACK!”

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's rewind a bit.

A day or two after The Voice Finale

“Hi I’m Maia Quinn, and I'm the Season 23 winner of The Voice, and we're hanging out with Rob on Front Row Live.”

“Go with me.” Niall moaned into your mouth as you straddled him. “Where?” you question kissing down his neck. “Boston. I know it's last minute and we’d leave in the morning-” you shut him up with a kiss and a roll of your hips, his hands tightening against your thighs. “Just wake me up an hour before we leave.”

Sitting at the desk of you and Niall’s shared hotel room the morning of May 26th you had early interviews to get through before you were meant to go to the festival. You looked over the camera to see Niall already looking at you.

“Maia congratulations. What a night you had a few nights ago.” Rob praised and you smiled adjusting your airpod. “I am super excited for you and your career and your future. Especially because you're starting so young. You have enough time to kind of like, continue to evolve, and understand your voice; learn a lot more about yourself throughout this process. Talk to me about this process of your experience here on the voice and how you've evolved as a vocalist and a performer.” The interview was more than you could ever imagine.

“Now your relationship with Niall this season has had fans going crazy. From the after performance hugs to the duet, and the after party, what can you tell us about that?”

You saw Nialls face peak over the laptop screen and stayed neutral. “Niall has been the most supportive and very encouraging. He has become one of my best friends through this whole journey. I lost a lot of my confidence during the pandemic unfortunately. It made me think that I would never be able to do things that I certainly could do and Niall- all these years later- has been there to remind me that I probably can do them, and then make me do it. So our friendship and relationship has been so important to me. He is my best friend across the charts and he’d hate me for saying this, but I wouldn't be here without him.”

“Last question before we go. Is there anything we can look forward to seeing soon? Maybe another EP?”

You smiled glad you were able to share some information on what was coming next. “All I'll say now is, look for me on stage back home.” you winked dramatically knowing those who would get it would get it.”

“That's amazing, I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled. It was so great having you on. I hope to see you in person soon.”

“Bye!”

Being at Boston Calling with him

“Boston, Massachusetts, how you doing?” he asked the crowd after he finished ‘Heaven’. The loud response made him smile excitedly. “Holy shit! This is crazy.” you face palmed knowing he was going to slip up sooner or later. “Thank you all so much for coming out to see me. I really appreciate it.” they cheered again as he sipped his water. You watched as he looked at the amount of people and a smile formed on your face.

“This is uhm- this is actually my first ever Festival.” he let out a breath at the realisation. “I've definitely been drunk at a few.” you laughed at him with the rest of the crowd. “But I've never played at any and for that reason I'm absolutely shitting myself.” he said looking at you knowing you would calm him, and him seeing you laugh did just the trick.

“But thank you for being here. I know some of you guys have been queuing for years.” he looked around at the signs “My girlfriend showed me this earlier ‘i travelled four thousand miles to be here from Brazil’ your eyes went wide at the declaration and the deafening screams were present. He subtly looked in your direction and saw your reaction, his worry diminished as he saw you smiling making him smile. “Makes you feel bad from coming just down the road doesn't it? ‘I came from round New York’.” he mocked, “awe who cares.” he laughed with them and you hid a big smile behind your hands.

You walked the same route you came flashing your pass when you reached the gate and made your way in to see Niall. When you saw him you squealed and ran over to him. He turned when he heard you and caught you in his arms as you wrapped your legs around his waist and he spun you both around hands on the swell of your bum.

“I'm so proud of you!” you screamed and he laughed before he was kissing you passionately. It was quick as many more pecks through giggles followed. “I can not explain to you how happy i am.” he whispered in shock as you were sitting in the trailer behind the stage and he was getting changed. “You should be so happy, my love. That was incredible, and I am so so proud of you.” he smiled at you before grabbing your hand and kissing the ring on it. “You make me so happy, baby girl.” you melted at his words and stood up to kiss him softly. “And you make me the happiest girl, Ni.”

You surprising Niall at his Zane Lowe interview and him outing you

You knew Niall was disappointed when you told him you wouldn't be able to make it to his Zane Lowe interview today. He was really excited for this one and wanted you to be there. It was only a few days later that you flew from Boston down to LA for the interview. You were working on last minute stuff for the announcement today and you were nowhere close to done when he was getting ready to leave.

“I'm sorry love.” you kissed his pout away as you both stood by the door of his LA house. “I know, it’s okay. I know why you can’t make it, and for that I am so very proud.” he melted his lips against yours as your hands went to the curls on the back of his neck and he wrapped his went straight to your bum.

Niall was watching Zane play his songs and the guitar with a big smile a few hours after he left. “There are some pretty songs on this record bro.” Zane complimented as he switched playing from ‘The Show’ to ‘You could start a cult’. You who had just made it into the studio to surprise Niall were standing behind the glass watching him, waiting for him to notice.

“Thank you very much.'' He cut through Zanes music. “This one kills me.” Zane admitted as Niall caught on to what he was playing. “Yeah.” he cheered Zane on softly, finally noticing you. You saw his smile widened and you waved softly. “You Could Start A Cult.” he named distractedly, still looking at you as if he looked away you would disappear.

“Kingdoms fighting over you,” Niall continued. “I think that like they’re the ones- that could have very easily been, ‘ i like waking up beside you and you're my favourite person.” he joked easily. “But ‘you could start a war’.” you shook your head at his lyrical genius. “Do you ever crack yourself up with it?”

‘Yeah it was something silly at first but now everyone's obsessed with it. It started with me and my girlfriend now, when we met we would watch crime shows together over facetime,” he exposed and you chuckled at his laugh.

‘You say girlfriend now, sorry if i'm over stepping but..” zane trailed off

“No,” he shrugged off looking at you, who nodded, “she was not my girlfriend at the time, she is now, is what that meant.”

“So did she not know the song was for her?”

“She didn't know any song was for her- or about her I should say. The road from when we met to now has been a very dark windy tunnel, but we made it to the other end.”

“That's beautiful Niall, truly.” You smiled at him agreeing with Zane.

“This was the last song on the record that we wrote.” Niall confessed, and you wondered why. “Why, what was missing?” and without hesitation he pointed to you, “her.” Zane looked to where he was pointing and you waved happily at him. He waved back to you just as happy before turning to Niall with a face of shock. “No?” he gasped and Niall laughed, throwing his head back. “Yeah, I know. Way out of my league.” he watched you shake your head with an eye roll and he couldn't stop the smile from gracing his face.

“I could’ve gone and did what I did with the rest of the record and put BV’s all over it and strings and that was my plan - and John just said to me- because we we were not talking at the time…” he pointed between you and him, “...this is your message to,” he paused, ‘“ her’ keep it that way. Just you and your guitar and your feelings.”

Introduction to TV ratings

Hi! I know a lot of us in the 9-1-1 fandom have started looking more closely at episode ratings this past year, but every time I see them posted I also see a lot of comments from people being unsure what the numbers really mean. I'm someone who first got introduced to tv ratings from being involved in the pro wrestling fandom and learned a lot about them through osmosis, so I thought I could make a small informative post explaining the main concepts and why tv ratings matter!

Let's dive in!

What are tv ratings?

Tv ratings, or Nielsen ratings, is an audience measurement system operated by Nielsen Media Research that tries to figure out the audience size and composition for tv programs in the USA. The Nielsen company has been measuring this since the 1950's, and their ratings is the currency that drives business between advertisers and broadcasters. To simplify it, the higher the rating a program gets, the more the broadcaster can charge the advertisers and agencies for broadcasting their ads to the audience during that program.

The data collection methods have varied over the years, but right now they're using Portable People Meters and track data from DVR:s. Since 2017 they're also tracking data on Hulu and YoutubeTV, and select programs on Netflix. It is an approximation, since they (naturally) aren't getting the full data from every single tv in the country, but they are good enough (and trusted enough) that their reported metrics are what's considered official.

So what exactly are they reporting?

A couple of different things! The most interesting numbers are total viewers, demographic shares, and demographic ratings. According to Nielsen they also track "gender, race, ethnicity, income, education, occupation, etc." but those are usually not reported as openly as the aforementioned three numbers and are mostly used by advertisers.

Sites like Tvline, Tvseriesfinale and Showbuzzdaily often report daily ratings very quickly after Nielsen releases them. The Fast Nationals are usually what gets the most attention, since they're released the morning after, but they're time period ratings, which means it only measured what was watched during primetime. The more accurate Official Nationals are released later the day after, and are program ratings. So if a program was moved from its usual slot for some reason, the fast nationals will still count the original time slot towards its ratings, while the official nationals will count the slot it actually aired in.

There are also C3 and C7 ratings (live viewing + DVR three/seven days after the airing), but they are seen much more seldom and are largely a fighting point between networks (who want to get paid for more days) and advertisers (who only want to pay for live viewings).

How do I know what the numbers mean?

Let's dive into that! I'll use tables from Tvseriesfinale and Showbuzzdaily with ratings for Monday March 20th (the air date of 9-1-1 S6E12) as my examples.

Here's how Tvseriesfinale reports the ratings, they're using the fast nationals (or "fast affiliate ratings"). The %change is compared to last aired episode of the same show. If you're wondering how the demo change can be positive while the number of viewers change is negative, I'll get to that in a minute.

And here's Showbuzzdaily, they report Live+Same Day which include live viewership + DVR views from the same day (which should be the same as fast nationals, but sometimes varies a bit). You can see that they colour code according to how far above/below the average rating of the night a program placed in different ratings categories.

Now for what the different columns mean:

Viewers (mil) or Persons 2+ (000s): the total number of viewers, in millions, who watched the program. So here Tvseriesfinale reports that 4.3 million people watched 9-1-1, and Showbuzzdaily reports that 4.413 million people did.

18-49 demo and Sales Demo Ratings Adults 18-49: These are the numbers that everyone is really looking at! The demo rating means proportion of a certain group (in this case adults 18-49) that are watching a particular show. In other words, this is the percentage of all adults aged 18-49 in the United States that were watching the show. So a 0.6 (or 0.59) rating for 9-1-1 means that 0.6% (or 0.59%) out of all people aged 18-49 were watching 9-1-1. This is the money demo, this is the number all advertisers and networks are looking at. Persons 18-49 is considered the most lucrative demographic, so the more people in that group your show can draw, the better for the network since they then can ask for more money from the advertisers. Persons 18-49 are considered to be the group to best target advertisements towards for a variety of reasons (disposable income and interest towards buying new things being two of them).

As you can see above, Showbuzzdaily also reports the demo numbers for Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54. Some advertisers are more interested in these demographics, but overall 18-49 is still the most popular demographic. As you can see, the audiences skew older for all programs. I believe the general consensus is that younger people (<35-year-olds) watch much less tv than older generations, and these numbers support that. This is also why total viewers and demo ratings can have different %change - the 18-49 demo rating cuts off a relatively large part of the audience.

Demographic shares: While the ratings are based on percentage of all people in a demographic, the shares are based on percentage of the number of people who were actually watching TV at that time. So a 6.0 in Women 18-49 means that of all women aged 18-49 watching TV at 8PM, 6% chose to watch 9-1-1.

So... are the numbers any good?

That depends on what you're looking at. TV ratings as a whole have been dropping steadily for many years now, so trying to compare ratings to even, say, five years ago can be hard. For example: in the late 90's, pro wrestling regularly pulled in ratings of 5.0 and higher (I'll put a few below as an example), but those same shows would now be ecstatic if they managed to get above a 1.0 rating; their regular numbers the past year (for the big shows RAW, Smackdown and Dynamite) have mostly hovered around 0.4-0.7.

The first number is the demo rating

For the best overview, it's best to compare ratings for a certain show to the ratings of other shows on air, and I believe that's what the networks are doing as well. In that context, 9-1-1 is doing very well, as it regularly ends up near the top for scripted shows, even when looking at all shows over a week. The average rating for S6 so far is 0.63, which is lower than the average rating of 0.76 for S5 (which in turn was lower than the average rating of 1.05 for S4 and so forth). The ratings consistently dropping year over year are a concern for the industry at large, and it's pretty clear streaming services have played a big role in causing this, but I find it hard to believe tv networks would consider stopping producing shows for live tv anytime soon.

Let's talk about stances and personal growth

System safe (yes, even those ones), CDDs first

I really hope you'll stick with this one until the end.

My follower count has been fluctuating more than my anxiety levels the last few months as I try to figure out how to put into words what my own stance is.

I've brought in mods who have the same... I guess medical understandings as me but different philosophical and tolerance views to try to help myself grow and learn more.

Apparently, this was a bad thing to do. Who knew.

It's really sad how much pushback I've gotten from both sides. Anti endos in my inbox like, "how dare you give an inch, you traitor," and pro/endos like, "wait, are you anti endo? You lied to me."

But the truth is something that's ever changing and evolving, and figuring out the key to syscourse was realizing that you can't argue against self perception.

You can still have discussions that allow both sides to grow their understandings, knowledge, and opinions, though, and I'm not sure why my community seems to be turning on me for showing kindness to others.

I wish people would just accept me as I am and talk to me without trying to assign a "side" to me. I have information. You have information. Why don't we share it and both be better people?

There are cruel idiots that I don't agree with on both sides, I'm not loyal to anything or anyone except the desire to spread accurate information on CDDs.

CDD systems are my priority. Not sure when I was unclear about that.

I will always have the best interests of CDD systems at heart, but protecting them doesn't need to be at the cruel expense of others who are talking about a way of seeing themselves and the world in a different way.

This isn't new, any mental disorder comes with this very same challenge.

Anyone who has ever had to mask anything about themselves has experienced this on some level. Something about you just doesn't quite jive with what other people are describing. You don't see gender the same way, you don't take in knowledge the same way, you can't mentally visualize like other people, you don't have that kind of imagination, you don't have that kind of memory, you don't-- it's never ending.

Even the concept of consciousness and multiple selves has been around since the dawn of forever. People are incredibly multifaceted, it's not out of the realm of possibility (in fact, it's documented) that there are people that are more in tune with that aspect of themselves. People with BPD struggle with this, frequently giving names to the parts of themselves that seem beyond their control, but we don't condemn them, so what's different in syscourse?

Syscourse is happening because the two communities have intersected in complicated ways-- in my opinion, this centers around shared language and spaces that I don't think should be shared. I don't believe that the experiences are the same, and I think shared language hurts both sides. I think this is the root of all syscourse. If you've ever said, "if they would just stay out of our spaces, if they would just use different words--" Yeah, me too. Same hat. So why do you block me, as if we're that different?

Other people might think the root is something different. No big deal. I'd like to meet and talk to those people and grow my understanding. I want to see more sides and arguments.

Isn't that terrible of me?

In this way, I am both pro and anti endo, simultaneously. I'm not here to argue about self perception, but I am here to argue against misinformation and overlap in information that confuses and harms those with CDDs.

I see the tags filled with people who act the same way I did when I first started my blog, and I want to shake them and drag them into the front seat with me and say, "Let me save you so much bullshit. This isn't an argument that can be won."

I was incredibly lucky. One of the most well-known, respected syscoursers to both the anti and pro sides was kind enough to do that to me.

And looking back, it's almost hilarious how they just... let me be the little shit that I was being, while respectfully and kindly sharing resources and information. They're way more patient than I am. I am forever grateful to them.

But what I realized, after a while, with my mentor's gentle help, was that I wasn't understanding what the argument was, or why it was happening, or what was actually being said to me.

And it took being kinder and showing some humility and being brave enough to go into other spaces to find those answers.

And it's helped me fight more effectively for those with CDDs.

... And endogenic systems.

Because how can you argue if you can't understand what they're saying or where they got the idea from?

And it's made me a kinder, better person to everyone else who's just struggling to get through their one shot at life in a way that makes them happy and fulfilled.

It's like everyone forgot that we actually need to have conversations in order to create change.

And that change in yourself isn't always a bad thing.

So, I've been viewing and reviewing the videos for DRDT Chapter 2 up until the latest available episode (being 9 at the moment) and I've come across with so much information. Lots of subtle, yet interesting things. Thanks to those, I was able to connect a lot of dots and come up with a theory that just makes so much sense and I'd like to share it with you all. Before I dwelve into it, I'd like to repeat myself by saying that this is MAJOR SPOILERS and in case you wanna try to figure out the mystery by yourself or in case I end up being right with my theory, but you want to get those reveals happen as the videos are uploaded, then I'd definitly recommend all of those concerned people to immediatly stop reading and enjoy the ride that Danganronpa Despair Time has to offer. For those who want all the spoils, then let's do this. It's showtime!

Step #1 : The sneakiest, but biggest clue

In episode 9, also known as the first part of the 2nd trial, we get to the part where the attempted murder on Ace is revealed (which was definitly bound to happen) and Nico, surprisingly enough, they take the blame. Some of the fans have a split opinion about this, based on what I've noticed. Some say that they're probably covering for someone, or that they attempted to save Ace and so on. I figured I'd take another look back at the crime scene of the attempted murder not only because of this, but also because eventually, we're gonna need to find out how it actually happened back then. It might end up being useful to learn for this chapter, it could definitly be related after all.

But what I end up discovering, I never expected to find a piece of information that can reveal so much about this chapter. I recommend you to watch Chapter 2 Episode 6 to watch the clue I'm referring to.

Let's first watch from 19:41 to 20:31, the part where Teruko is investigating the crime scene in the fitness room. She notices a couple props that we're also able to see. There is however one prop that's shown on the crime scene, but not mentioned by Teruko.

The roll of tape! The very same tape that Ace's killer used to stick the wire to the fan, which is also most likely the same tape Arei's killer used to put it on the bars of the carousel (IT'S SPINNY THING!!!).

Wow, you found the roll of tape! Why does that matter?

You'll see very shortly. But first, take a good hard look on where the roll of tape is positioned. Now, play the video at 20:31 and pay attention to the speech bubble. The bottom part of the crime scene is harder to see now that it's darker, but it's still transparent enough. At 20:37, you can still see the roll of tape barely. At 20:39, it moves Teruko's sprite, so the tape is hidden behind her. At 20:49, for a brief moment, the roll of tape is still barely visible. But then at 20:50, Ace wakes up. (dum dum DUM, he's not actually dead!) Nevermind him though. Here comes the most important part. 20:54...

The roll of tape is gone!

Wait, I don't understand... what does that mean?!

It's eitheir an error made by the creator, which quite honestly, there's absolutely no shot that this is the case for the simple reason that this is a background that the creator made. There's no way a prop that's part of the background can suddenly disappear unless they made another background, but without the tape. Why would they decide to change backgrounds at that specific moment?

So if it's not that, then that only means one thing : one of these three took the roll of tape!

No! That's ridiculous! It can't be!

You better believe it because thanks to this huge hint, it narrows down the list of suspects by a lot as to who murdered Arei. Let's not forget... we already established that this tape was used at the playground, the real crime scene and that based on the narrative, there exists no other roll of tape of that kind due to two factors : MonoTV cleaning up the fitness room (Episode 6-7) and Rose confirmed that there used to have tape in the fitness room (Episode 7). So now, only one of these three could've done it : Ace, Teruko, Eden.

There's no way the blackened could be Ace!

You're right. It's actually impossible. He's been nearly killed, he's wounded and his mind is set on anything else but murdering Arei. Also, no offense to Ace, but I don't think he has the smarts to pull this kind of murder scheme. Even if he did, we'd have to worry about him leaving blood traces on the roll of tape. The odds of that happening seem fairly high, but there's no blood sighted on any of that tape, so... He's out.

There's no way the blackened could be Teruko!

You're right. It wouldn't make sense. She is the protag, so it's be very weird to see her go so soon. Not only that, but unless it's for self defense, she literally has no motive to kill any of the cast at the moment. Remember, she's the only one who's totally fine with not escaping this killing game, just living here. So she's out. There's no way the blackened could be Eden!

... heh! Are you sure about that? Are you thinking this because this is one of your favorite characters or because deep down, you know that she's very kind and wouldn't hurt a fly?

Well... sorry for breaking the news, but disregarding the fact that she's the remaining valid suspect out of them three, she definitly has the motive and skills to pull it off. But putting that aside for now, take a look at this.

This was a couple seconds before Ace woke up and the roll of tape disappeared. This definitly shows the possibility that she could've taken the roll of tape as she was investigating. And we all missed it because of this explosive distraction : Ace waking up, shouting. When he shouted, he also pushed Eden which could've been the perfect moment for her to take the roll of tape without anyone else noticing.

That's right, ladies and gentlemen! I accuse Eden of being the blackened!

Nooo! Why eden?! I don't want to believe it! She had no reason to kill Arei!

Step #2 : The simple, yet heartbreaking motive

That reminds me, let's talk a bit about one of the most popular topics this chapter in this community!

I've seen so many people come up with ideas as to which secret it belongs to who, especially since some of them could potentially be pretty incriminating in regards to the murder this chapter. Maybe some of these motives could play a part this chapter, but it's very hard to tell as we don't have a lot of information on that end aside from the motives we already know who it belongs to, but aren't related to the crime.

And it's true that cause of that, there's been a considerable amount of arguing going on between the cast, which could've resulted in a murder. But otherwise, for the time being, I would like to claim the following...

None of these motives in itself have anything to do with the murder of Arei and the attempted murder on Ace. This is just a giant distraction, a red herring to throw us off track on what actually happened. We don't need to know everyone's motive to solve the murder mystery.

While it is fun to theorize who could be the secret murderer, who's the manipulator or who's the main cause behind the killing game. I think that until proven otherwise, they're unrelated to the crimes this chapter, but will play a major role in the future chapters. Why would Eden commit murder then?

Let me ask you a question. Aside from their names starting with the letter A, what does Ace and Arei have in common?

Why does that matters? The culprit for Ace's attempted murder is-

Nevermind that for now. Focus on what they both have in common. One of the main reasons why there was so much arguing happening this chapter. That's right! They're both bullies! Ace's quite the bully, especially towards Nico (which we learn in the later chapters why that was the case). He was often causing a ruckus in the dining hall. It was not pleasant for anyone. Granted, Ace didn't really bully Eden much, but that's not the same case for Arei. Arei was pretty mean to Eden, even back to chapter 1. But chapter 2 was when she was pretty nasty. Back on chapter 2, episode 5, Arei bullied the crap out of Eden to the point where she exited the playground, crying. Here's a video for reference, as a reminder. (I recommend watching the vid of chapter 2, episode 5 from the beginning to 3:40)

Granted, later on, we learn that she did it to make Eden stronger, so that she doesn't become an easy prey in the future. She didn't really enjoy making her cry, she was just trying to help in her own way. Unfortunatly, Eden didn't really get to hear that as she was probably already far gone by then.

She heard something else however right after Eden left the playground.

Even though she was not in the playground, Eden most likely heard it : Arei being evil, a bully who only wishes misery on others. And that's pretty much the moment where Eden had enough. She snapped. That. was the motive behind it all. The cataclysm that broke this kind person's mind.

Hold on! That can't be right! There's no way she heard that!

Nope, that's wrong! We already have some proof that she could've easily hear it. There was the interaction between Ace, Levi and Teruko in episode 2. When Ace left the fitness room, Toruko talked crap about him, then Ace came back running, shouting and whining that he heard all of that. Then there's this!

The suspect herself claims that these walls aren't soundproof, so she is very well aware that things can be easily heard through the walls. So there you have it! The reason why she did it : to get rid of the bullies once and for all. Now then, let's talk about another big thing that caused some conflicts with the problem solving.

Step #3 : Connections on the murder attempt

The mystery of the attempted murder on Ace is actually pretty interesting. There's a lot of likely different scenarios that could explain what happened in here. Most seem to conclude that culprit behind each of these crimes is not the same person. But what if I were to tell that it's actually the opposite?

That's right! I'm claiming that Eden planned and carried out both crimes at the same night without any accomplices!

But that's ridiculous! On Ace's attempted murder, Teruko found wires. The only person who could have that is Hu! She has wires according to the weapon list. So Hu is definitly involved!

Initially, I thought the same thing. Hu seemed incredibly suspicious because of that discovery.

But we've all been had! It was a ruse and sneaky trick by the creator by making us believe that it was her because of the glaring hint. But it's actually another red herring.

Aside from the computer lab, there is actually another source where the culprit could've gotten their hands on wires, but it's very subtle : the clocks.

The... clocks?

That's right! The very same clocks that Eden wanted to use to decorate as an activity with Teruko. It kinda suggests that she must've taken them. It's possible since the activity was cancelled because of the bullying. And inside those clocks, they contain wires... I think...

Not something I'm entirely sure of. But based on some research and some chat with a friend. The thing on the top right is copper wire. So Eden might've dismantle that clock with her tools and expertise and unrolled that wire. I gotta admit... I'm not quite knowledge about clocks, so there might be some misinformation. But I tried looking as much as I could and from what I gathered, most of the analog clocks have this kind of clock mechanism inside. So that seems pretty plausible, but feel free to correct me on anything related to the inside of clocks. Anyways, that's how Eden managed to get the murder weapon for Ace. In other words, Hu has nothing to do with the murder scheme on Ace.

But what about Nico? Why were they at the crime scene? Were they trying to save Ace? Were they helping Eden as an accomplice? Why don't they deny the accusations on episode 9?

There are a couple theories that could explain it, but I have one that makes the most logical sense.

Nico wanted to kill Ace for pretty much the same reason as Eden : To stop the bullying for good. Back in episode 6, it showed that they had the intent on killing Ace.

And that night, Nico was actually about to commit such crime, except that they were not as prepared as Eden. They were a tad late to, because at the time, Eden caught Ace off guard and brought him into the fitness room (something I'll explain later).

So Nico desperatly tried to look for Ace, get their revenge for the bullying. And because of that bloodlust, Nico's mind was probably hazy, not quite clear.

Then they found Ace in the fitness room, about to get murdered by whatever inventive trap Eden pulled. After that, I'm not sure what happened, but Nico broke the death trap somehow for whatever reason.

That's when Teruko and Eden discovers the crime scene and at that moment. Nico comes back to reality and looks at the situation they're in. At the time, they didn't know Ace wasn't dead, so Nico legit thought they killed him. So they panicked, they got stressed, they felt guilty and ran away.

That way, it would explain the reasoning behind their whole behavior and why Nico thinks they're responsible for the murder attempt.

But hold on! There's no way she could've done both of these crimes by herself and there's nothing that shows that they're related.

There's actually some similarities between both crimes.

For starters, they both use rather complex murder methods. Upon closer look, it looks like both of these seem to have some kind of mechanism involved which gives another reason to suspect Eden considering her ultimate talent. She works on things that has mechanisms, so it's nothing new for her.

Secondly, the state of both victims. No I don't mean Ace's neck being cut and Arei's neck being snapped. I'm referring to what else there was to learn about their bodies. Disregarding the red marks on Arei's wrists, we, as viewers, learned that there's no other kinds of injuries involved.

Meaning that they didn't get knocked unconscious with a blunt weapon of some kind. There is only one reason we learned that they might've fallen unconscious against their will : Rose's missing turpentine. Once again, not something I'm an expert at, but I'm guessing it must've been used kind of like chloroform, right?

Considering that it's Rose's custom weapon, it probably exists only one of these. Therefore, the most likely scenario is that the culprit used it on both victims.

Come on now, that's impossible! There's no way she could've caught two people off guard!

Nope, that's wrong! We actually have proof that Eden is more than capable to pull it off.

As you can see, she was able to sneak on Teruko. So she could've done the same on both Ace and Arei. This is undeniable proof!

But wait, if she snuck on both of them, then that means...

That's right! Not only did she actually intend on commiting a double murder, Eden also planned on doing both at the very same night!

Bull****! It's impossible!

Oh, but it is possible! Why else would she pick the roll of tape after the investigation on Ace's attempted murder? There's also a lot more to this than just this fact.

Step #4 : The requirements to kill Arei

So ever since Arei's bullying, Eden did a lot of planning and preparations. Like a whole lot! It's actually quite impressive! Once you find some hard proof and then connect a bunch of dots, you get to uncover quite a considerable amount of information on what's behind the culprit's mind. Right now, I'm here to lay it out all for you to learn as well.

Before she captures both victims, there was some preparation work needed. There's some that we already know. Stealing Rose's turpentine which is easily doable by anyone as Rose tends to be easily distracted. Grabbing Arei's rope which could've been grabbed by anyone as Arei discarded it, so monoTV put it in some kind of storage. Obtaining wire from dismantled clocks, I've already discussed this earlier, so this is obviously something she would do in advance.

And then there are some more subtle prep work involved. That rope... she had to set it up somewhere first before pulling off the whole murder scheme. But for that, she first needed to go to the movie screening room. The culprit needed to place the rope in a specific spot to put her plan in motion and it was somewhere through that room.

Here is some proof showing that the movie screening room and the playground are connected.

The culprit must've placed the rope on one of these metal thingy (I don't know the proper term) so that the rope would dangle on both sides, most likely reaching (or almost reaching) the floor of the playground. This was most likely set up at night, to not get caught.

That can't be right! I don't think Eden is strong enough to punch through walls and besides, we saw the movie screening room. There was nothing suggesting that the walls have been damaged!

That's right! There is no signs of punching into the walls or any kinds of damage at those walls. The culprit used her smarts and skills to get what she needed.

She used her tools to open a panel of some kind. Wanna know what's the best part? We have proof of that being possible and it's actually way back in Chapter 1, Episode 1.

As you saw on Eden's sprite, she definitly has tools. Even her custom weapon is a tool : the wrench! Granted, I doubt you could open this panel with a wrench, but maybe she needed it elsewhere, who knows?

To further confirm this rope setup, we also have more proof suggesting this possibility. It's back on Chapter 2, Episode 8.

The culprit must've moved one of these tube lights by accident and was unable to place it back for whatever reason. Or maybe they simply broke it. Eitheir way, this proves that my theory with the rope works.

Okay... then what?

Then it was time to go for the offensive! At nighttime, she probably baited Ace and Arei at different times through whatever means, then snuck up on them and get them unconscious with a cloth full of turpentine.

Next up, Eden placed Ace in the fitness and then she placed Arei's body eitheir at the playground or hidden in the changing room within the dress-up room. It couldn't have been the relaxation room since it was closed at nighttime nor could it be the fitness room since this was the death room for Ace.

The culprit definitly set up the death trap for Ace first because of the discovery of the roll of tape that I've shared with you all at the beginning. This discovery means that Eden took the tape to use it in the playground after setting up the murder on Ace. What was the actual death trap at the fitness room though? To be honest... I'm not quite sure yet. It must be involved with all the stuff that Teruko found during her investigation, especially the broom and stepstool since they're not from the fitness room originally.

I can't quite picture yet how the whole mechanism was designed, but at the very least, we know that it involved the fan and the wires. The wires was most likely around his neck while the fan was continuously rotating. I think that's what matters the most, at least. I'll let you guys know if I can figure out how the whole thing works.

Alright, you got the murder scheme on Ace sort of figured out. But there's no way you can figure out the one for Arei!

Heh! Think again! I have a fairly good idea on how that murder scheme works.

Although... I'll be honest... this is not quite originally my idea. I'm pretty sure I heard of this theory somewhere eitheir on tumblr or youtube, but it involves a quantity of props and the seasaw. So whoever that was, thank you!

Regarding the prepping time? She also gathered more, but it could've been done during the night of the murder. We have the water jugs,

a bunch of clothes,

and we have the roll of tape that Eden picked to do this! (And something else, but I'll get back to it later)

But what about the dead fishes?! Why are they here?!

I'll get back to it later. For now, don't worry too much about them.

Now then, here's how the culprit did it.

She attached the rope at the base of the carousel so that the rope would be pulled as she would turn it.

She rolled the bars of the carousel with the same tape so that the bars wouldn't be slippery as she rotates the carousel

On the other side of that rope, she attached the two jugs of water to it.

She readjusted the rope's positioning to make sure that the jugs of water would land on one side of the seasaw.

She surrounds the jugs with clothes to increase the odds of hitting the target.

She places Arei's alive, but unconscious body on the other side of that seasaw (mostly the neck) while probably attaching the wrists to the ground with the remaining tape to make sure she doesn't move too much.

She rotates the carousel, pulling the jugs upwards.

As she reaches the maximum height, she would release the carousel and let gravity do its work.

BAM! Arei's neck gets snapped and she dies.

Then following this, a few other things happen : the rope goes through the handle of the jugs from impact, the rope probably gets snapped in two from the impact as well, the clothes get wet from the spilled water (from the jugs) and the ground gets damaged from the corpse's sudden movement because of the impact of the murder.

Here is the proof to confirm this.

Another thing to note which could further explain why Eden is the culprit. I believe there was another use for surrounding the jugs with clothes. She wanted to add a "silencer" to her murder weapon.

In other words, because Eden knew that the walls aren't sound proof, she wanted to commit the murder as quietly as possible, to make sure no one else hears it.

After the murder, she had a few remaining things to do :

She used the first half of the rope to make it look like Arei has been hanged at the swing set.

She used the other half of the rope to "hide" it under the carousel

She grabbed the empty jugs, the two pieces of tape used to hold the victim's wrists and the ball of clothes.

She threw away the pieces of tape and the empty jugs in the trash can.

She hid the ball of clothes somewhere in the dress-up room.

And that, ladies and gentlemen is how she got away with almost a double murder and pulled it off in a single night.

But when did she pull off Arei's murder? She was with Teruko since the encounter at the dress-up room up until Ace arguing close by the students' rooms.

It should be pretty easy by now. She did it right after everyone went back to their rooms. That's when she went back to 2F to resume her murder scheme.

But that whole plan creates a contradiction with this and that!!! Without an accomplice even! It's impossible!

Don't worry, I do have a valid explanation to most of what seem like an issue and it actually makes sense.

Step #5 : The finishing touches

Alright, let's tackle what seems like the biggest issue.

We definitly saw Arei alive the following day. So your time is murder is invalid!

No, that's wrong! You probably mean this, right?

Sorry to disappoint, but that's not Arei. That's actually Eden disguised as Arei.

How is that possible? She looks nothing like Arei!

No, but with a couple preparations and props, you can definitly put on proper disguise. I have two pieces of evidence that proves that this is possible and logical.

The dress-up room in itself is proof enough. Eden could've taken a copy of Arei's uniform in here, there's a wig that looks like Arei's hair and most importantly... Do you see the pink, heart shaped box on the brown desk? That looks like a make-up kit, doesn't it? So Eden could've easily make herself look like Arei with this.

As for the glove, I'm pretty sure that's the only reason why Arei's corpse doesn't have her glove anymore. The culprit was forced to take it from the corpse to fully complete the disguise.

But there's a bunch of people who saw Arei at lunchtime!

Yeah, but did they really pay attention to her at the time? Weren't they distracted by Ace whining on high noon?

What about Teruko? She cleared stared at Arei during lunchtime, so she should've noticed if it wasn't her.

Nope, that's wrong! We have proof explaining this issue.

When Veronika was telling Teruko that the character in a certain movie she watched looked like Teruko. Teruko would deny it by saying that the character's hair and eyes aren't the same colors.

So Veronika then concludes that she might be face blind. Being unable to recognize someone from their facial appearance.

It's not quite confirmed that she has prosopagnosia, but it's highly suggestive. Therefore, because our pov is practically the same as Teruko's, what we saw is what Teruko thought was Arei standing there at lunchtime when it was actually Eden disguised.

Both the lack of words from "Arei" during lunchtime and the fact that we don't see Eden's actual sprite in the dining room proves that this theory is possible.

On episode 7, Teruko, Whit and Eden were the first three to discover the body, yet the BDA bell made a sound. That proves she's not the culprit!

Nope, that doesn't prove anything. In fact, that's just another sneaky that the creator pulled on us.

Let's think of this differently. If we follow the logic that Eden is the guaranteed killer, then you have to ask yourself : why did it still ring?

From what we've witnessed...

She says this line right before Teruko opens the doors to the playground. Why would she say that suspicious line?

Was she nervous? Was she scared of something? She was actually scared of something that could've happened : the BDA not ringing.

If it didn't ring, it would've been game over for Eden. It would've narrowed down the list of suspects by a lot. She was afraid that this outcome would happen. Why? Because she thought that no one else discovered the corpse before them.

Yet, it did. Meaning that something unexpected, which worked in Eden's favor, happened : someone else discovered the body.

So now, we have to ask ourselves the next question : who discovered the body first?

We probably have a couple candidates suitable for this, but we have one specific individual who fits the criterias better than anyone else. Someone who's been acting suspicious since after lunch time. Someone that would fill in the few holes in my theory. That's right! The first person who discovered Arei's body is David.

What about the dead fishes?

Good thing that this is being brought up because the person responsible for placing those dead fishes all over the playground is actually David himself!

What? You don't believe me? Alright, let's go through each event from David's pov. Starting from lunch time (after the attempted murder on Ace) to evening.

He's eitheir looking for Arei after lunchtime or he's just roaming around the place for whatever reason.

He finds Arei's body sometime before late evening. He probably has a lot of negative emotions flowing through him.

But most importantly, he is confused, yet determined about one thing : "Why is she dead so soon? I saw her at lunch time, so she must've been dead sometime between then and now!"

He goes to the kitchen. Eitheir to spend some time alone, away from the corpse to think about this or because he was looking for something in the kitchen. Something like a knife maybe? You know... for revenge's sake. (This is definitly possibly because when David met Teruko, Charles and Whit, he didn't expect them to be there so late) and doesn't wanna join their late dinner because he's not in the mood.

After whit's suggestion, he goes to the relaxation room.

Upon taking some time to decompress and focus, he thinks of some facts he learned about the school's features. Like the fact that there are fans in the playground that can dry up wet stuff pretty fast and the fact the doors of the relaxation room are closed and locked during night time.

That's when he comes up with a plan : he takes the fishes in the relaxation room and places them in the playground.

That way, it'll help pinpoint more accurately the time of death of Arei and possibly find the culprit who doesn't have an alibi within that timeframe.

Unfortunatly for him, even though he was trying to help, that plan of his is actually gonna mess up the group for quite a while. Because as we know, the actual time of death was the night before the day he discovered the body first.

How did he catch those fishes?

Well... good question. I guess I may be slightly off with the ball of clothes theory that it's been used for the seasaw mechanism.

It's possible that it might've been used by David to catch fish more easily. Or... maybe the ball of clothes was used by both Eden and David. Yet another possibility.

Whichever is the case, there's probably an easy explanation for this.

And there you have it! That's my whole theory about chapter 2. The whodunnit, the howdunnit and the whydunnit.

There are probably some other wacky, slightly valid theories that could work with someone else than Eden as the culprit. But personally, I feel like this is the theory that makes the most sense within the danganronpa theme, within the narrative, within all the hints we've been given. It almost feels like the creator is whispering to us that this is the way.

But hey, chapter 2 is not over yet. There is still quite things that has yet to be revealed. Heck, I never even mentioned the ripped up message in the trash can. Mostly because I don't to do with it since it's kinda missing clues. But maybe it will be connected with Eden's murder subtly, or maybe it'll be something entirely different. We'll see.

Until then, looking forward to see what's gonna happen in chapter 2 episode 10. Will I be right? Will I be dead wrong? Will I encounter a few errors where I'm gonna have to revise my theory? Only time will tell.

Dumbest Thing I've Ever Heard: 7/24/2023

Fifth Place: Elon Musk

I'm sure most people saw that Elon Musk has changed Twitter's name from Twitter--one of the most recognizable names on the internet--to "X" the twenty-fourth letter of the alphabet. What exactly caused Musk to think this was a good idea is currently up for debate, but many are calling it another misstep--because it so obviously is.

To give everyone an idea of just how nonsensical this is from a business standpoint: Imagine if McDonald's woke up one day and decided to change its name from the highly well known one they've had since their founding, to "P." Just the letter P, nothing else.

Fourth Place: Ben Shapiro

So the owning of other human beings as property has been a net benefit to civilization, but not giving women the right to vote, open bank accounts on their own, work outside the home, and be able to report both sexual harassment and rape. Second Place: Paul Gosar

Media Matters reported today that Gosar previously used his official newsletter to promote USSA News, a website which has engaged in Holocaust Denial. Postings from the website include:

USSA News on July 22 posted: “David Cole, a Jew, explores Auschwitz and debunks the claims that it was an industrial death camp – still on youtube for now but as more countries outlaw questioning the ‘holocaust’, it is uploaded here in case it is removed to censor inconvenient evidence.”

USSA News on July 21 posted: “Making Adolf Hitler into a Jewish-controlled agent is quite a brilliant plot by International Jewry to divert newcomers away from learning the true history & background of National Socialism (Slavery). Don’t be fooled! … Stand up for Hitler and National Socialism (Slavery)!!” The piece then promoted content on Renegade Tribune, a neo-Nazi site.

USSA News on July 20 posted an article from the antisemitic site Unz Review attacking Jewish people, which begins by stating: “Untrue stories exist at each end of Jewish history’s three thousand years – fictional, fabricated and of immense magnitude.” It then claimed: “Towards the end of the 20th century as belief in the origin stories was fading away, the Holohoax morphed into a fearsome modern religion, in which belief is compulsory.”

USSA News on July 17 lionized Hitler by writing that “the Kalergi Plan consists of the genocide of white people through miscegenation and mass immigration of non-whites to Europe. … Hitler was aware of Kalergi’s plan and did everything in his power to prevent it. Like Gobineau, Hitler considered the Aryan race to be the noblest, the best armed for the struggle for existence, the most beautiful, the most energetic, and the one with the greatest amount of creative genius. What this race lost by mixing it was not compensated by what the others gained by ennoblement.”

I decided to check the website myself, and just today I found an article with the headline "God Is An Anti-Semite" which begins by showing this cartoon.

For those curious, that comic was made by a man named Farstar, here's some information about him according to a Wordpress blog sharing his name:

Farstar88 is a Fascist artist from South Africa who specialises in political cartoons as well as comics in order to provide a much needed narrative that is ruthlessly suppressed and excluded from mainstream consciousness. In a world of political correctness gone completely insane, telling a contrary story even if it is more than sufficiently backed up by facts, is considered an act of aggression and the victims apparently are those whose feelings get hurt when they can’t have their way.

You know, Paul Gosar hasn't really been subtle with his authoritarian leanings over the past few years, this is the man who buddies around with known fascist Nick Fuentes remember, but at some point you have to wonder--why doesn't he just come out and admit it? These aren't people with shaky pasts that you have to dig real deep to find information on, that bit about Farstar--I learned that in about three minutes through Google. At this point, one has to wonder what he has to loose by just loudly declaring that he is, in fact, a fascist--especially given everybody already knows that by this point.

Winner: Ron DeSantis

Speaking of fascists, DeSantis's campaign gave another shout out to its fascist supporters over the weekend through a staffer retweeting a campaign ad with this image of DeSantis superimposed over a fascist symbol.

Again, one has to even wonder why they try to hide it anymore.

Okay, I've been struggling to this of how to answer this, so I'm just gonna try my best here.

I do think that sasuke needed some friends that treated him like and actual, normal human being. I don't think he could have found that in konoha.

Everyone he interacts with in konoha interacts with him because of konoha and that's why I don't believe it works. Team 7 was put together by konoha, they were made to be friends by the leaf village, and there is absolutely no way they would let sasuke interact with someone who shares his views and morals if they go against the leaf village. I know saying that doesn't make sense because, "but he wasn't against the village at that time, and they didn't think he had anything against them" but the leaf village knew that if sasuke found out why his brother carried out genocide and stuff he would probably be instantly against the village, so they needed him to be around people who would drag him back to the village if necessary. I think that that's one of the reasons he was put on a team with the most persistent and obsessive academy graduates, because they would always try and drag him back and make sure he was a useful tool and not a threat. I would say that when they sort the genin teams, they definitely look at personality as well.

A bunch of that was 'i thinks' and hc's and stuff, but being serious I'm actually gonna try and answer the question now.

The thing about this ask is that I don't know if any one of the konoha 11 could have been friends with sasuke. Why? All of them graduated the academy, all of them loyal konoha ninja. They've had years of exposure to the whole "glorifying konoha" thing, and have all been brainwashed into being good tools for the state. None of them would dare go against konoha in any way, shape or form.

With all that taken into account, my first thought was neji, he would (probably) understand why sasuke did the things he did (though this is entirely an opinion and basically just speculation, so I can only say probably). The thing is, I don't think he would ever leave the village or join sasuke, as he is fatalistic in nature (until he gets tnj'd by naruto, supposedly) and would never even think it possible to leave the village and choose to change things. I love neji, but he was also a konoha shinobi and would never even have the opportunity or the hope that he could even leave the village and his clan behind. If he did, he would be killed instantly anyways by the cursed seal. So I can't say he would join sasuke and leave the village, or that they would be friends but I can say there is a possibility for them to become friends.

Going against what I just said, neji is shown to be constantly trying to fight what he believes to be his destiny (was he wrong though about it being his destiny? he did die for his slaveowner in the end) so he does have some hope that he can change something. Still, all of this speculation is on the basis that he would even realize how fucked up konoha is and wouldn't gloss it over as well. Like, he was chill with his uncle once he learned why his father "really" died so I can't say that he wouldn't do the same with konoha for letting his clan continue their practices. He is a loyal konoha shinobi and since he isn't one of the main characters we don't really get to see what he thinks about many of these things. All I've got is headcanons and the little bit of information canon provides us to make judgements about his character.

Conclusion about neji: Pre tnj, maybe, probably actually (in my opinion), but post tnj? No way; he's been brainwashed by naruto. Though maybe if he interacted with sasuke for a little bit they'd get ideas lol

All of the konoha 11 are loyal konoha shinobi though, and that's why I can't ever see them leaving the village. You asked which one I thought was closest to leaving? None of them (save sasuke). Though sasuke at one point was also a loyal konoha shinobi, so I guess all of them can technically change. The thing is, now it's about who is most likely to adapt and change with new bits of information and make decisions for themselves, not decisions made by konoha. Sasuke is the only one shown to do that in canon, so I can't really say.(maybe ino? that's a hc though)

Don't really know much about how most of the k11 react to situations that change the way they would see the village, because so few are ever exposed to that (naruto is basically it cause he's the mc)

So, you asked who of the k11 would be friends with sasuke? None of them. If we're going by personality and personal preference/opinion, however; I have some preferences. Basically just anyone who isn't insufferable. Neji could be good friends with sasuke if they got past the first stages of them probably fighting a lot (and their philosophies greatly differ as well, sasuke would probably spend a lot of time trying to do what naruto did and convince neji that destiny is not set in stone and things can change, though unlike naruto, sasuke actually takes action and proves it) and I could see them being friends, though if I'm being honest, I'm really biased because I love them both so much and would love for them to have interacted in canon. But they don't really get any moments so all I got is headcanons.

Other than neji, I can see maybe shino being friends with him? He's pretty chill I think. And tenten seems pretty nice as well. I don't really have preferences though there are characters who would DEFINITELY NOT be friends with sasuke. Hinata is one of them, (for being generally dislikable, I think you can see what I'm getting at here, and also you can either have neji or hinata, never both and neji is waaaay better) shikamaru is another, for reasons pretty clear: He doesn't like sasuke, which is a pretty good line for who he wouldn't be friends with. Kiba is too much like naruto and also too much of a loyal leaf ninja (they all are though, let's be honest). Rock lee's out because he is just like naruto in how he sees sasuke (someone to fight, a goal) and he's also generally annoying with how he talks about "hard work", as if someone who is a genius does not work hard and that is honestly disrespectful. Sasuke is a genius, yes, he also works hard. It is because he works hard that he is a genius. Not a whole lot of people left. Anyway, I'm kinda neutral about ino because she does move on and doesn't continue obsessing over him like sakura at a certain point, so maybe they could become friends? Though they probably wouldn't, I'm neutral because she is capable of being actually normal and decent. Not good enough for her to be friends with sasuke, but still in neutral territory. And I'm neutral about choji as well, though he's friends with shikamaru so I'm not sure how that would go down.

All in all, that is what I think about (pretty much) every one of the k11. Lmk if I missed someone important (though I don't think that I did). And I know that this wasn't your question really, but this is a mess of jumbled opinions that I will now give to you. But yeah, my real answer is that he would never have friends in the leaf village, the only way I see him making friends is if they are outside of the village. Or they're his clanmates (if they weren't dead).

I love that the itch.io IF game community has grown immensely and has created mobile templates to make development easier. HOWEVER, as a mobile UX designer, I hate the mobile design of almost every single game I've played because the user experience is terrible. Interactive elements are generally too small and difficult to target with a touch screen, features are arranged non-intuitively, icons are not explained in a user friendly way, font sizes are too small, etc etc. So many of the choices I see are artistic ones and have been made for aesthetic purposes. I hate to be the one to rain on a parade, especially because I love the games I've played, but sometimes the experience makes it so difficult to enjoy the story being told. Since I'm not a beta tester, it feels like it's not my place to bring this up to devs since I feel that it is unsolicited criticism. Tl;Dr: IF games are amazing. Please find someone who designs UX for mobile apps/games to make the experience even better. Thanks for letting me confess in your ask box, gl with your writing!

Since you are someone who designs mobile UX, it's def normal to be more sensitive when it comes to play mobile version of IF. I am sure editors who read IF must cringe a lot reading our unedited stuff, or UI designers for desktop must cry about how our page looks.

Accessibility is tricky. It requires knowledge about what could need accessibility (colours, font, placement of things, etc...) and about how to implement it (code). Having the knowledge of one still need the knowledge of the second for it to work. I think the strive for more accessibility is quite recent in the IF (Tumblr) space, especially with Twine games. With more code/information being shared, though templates and tutorials, it's been a bit easier to think of this and have more people implement it. Still, it involves a lot of learning (on top of learning the IF program), which for a lot of hobbyist creators is not always available, or funds if you want to go the hire a designer route, which same. I think believe, while it could be better, we are slowly getting there.

I guess there is still a collaboration route, but that requires time/communication/willingness to share projects...

And honestly, there isn't as much useful information out there to create good UI, especially mobile version, that would work with IF programs. And, as much as I like to splash around in the puddle (it makes sense in French), I really wish there were more tutorials for mobile creation. Every system/format has their own tweaks, which makes some things incompatible or needing more specific knowledge.

For example: Twine/SugarCube has a built-in UI, which includes a decent-ish mobile UX, but if you want to change things, you need to learn to work around the built-in CSS; a lot of which is not compatible with Twine/Harlowe. So if you find code for Harlowe, it probably won't work for SugarCube.

Even with the templates, you need to know how it works to be able to edit it.

Though... It does seem you would be open to help us creators get better and help readers have nicer experience overall. I guess here are some ways you could do that to avoid ruffling feathers (or rain on the parade) :P

Participating in beta

Reaching out to creators and see if they want pointers (i.e. not just a list of what is wrong, but maybe solutions?)

Creating UX templates that is mobile compatible*

Creating tutorials focusing on UX and what to keep in mind for mobile viewing (like a do/don't do)*

*would probably need to make sure those are compatible with IF programs. but damn those would so useful

Also not every IF have to be mobile compatible. TTTT def can't.

Written in accordance with THE STAR PROMPTS: TWO, specifically the The Essentials prompt. Synopsis: An Daeul films a video in collaboration with STAR Labels, unveiling the Top 10 Items He Can't Live Without.

Being in front of a camera doesn't make him uneasy anymore. It seems like, for the better part of the last few years, his memories are always being captured; saved as an mp4 file and shot into the technological cosmos known as the internet. In the beginning, the thought of being watched by thousands, maybe even millions, of people seemed daunting, but now, the butterflies he once had whenever an HD lenses zoomed in on him have all flown away. Nowadays, he finds the recording process incredibly mundane.

It's become his everyday life, and like with all humdrum things, he merely goes through the motions now; muscle memory and his signature effortless wit making his content flow smoothly, like a glistening stream of water at the top of a mountain's peak. While he appreciates the ease, there's a big part of him that wishes he still found his career path incredibly exciting, like he used to.

As an adventurous spirit, An Daeul wants to dip his toes into different types of waters, and while nothing has been decided yet, he's aching to start a new adventure soon.

For now, though, he's sat in a minimally set-dressed studio, he's bowing his head to the small crew of people who are there to help him, and is moments away from informing a camera of some of his all-time favorite things; things that he simply can't live without, as they say. He's done something like this on his own channel, but it was focused more on cosmetics, skincare, and fashion items. This time, his choices are hand-selected from a rather broad category, and he's hoping that whoever chooses to give him a view will be entertained.

When it's finally time for him to launch into things, he takes a deep breath, checks the bag that's placed on the table beside him, and once he's prepared, he sits up straight and paints on a lovable expression, genuinely aiming to exude warmth and conviviality. It's something he's learned to master, even while communicating via screen.

"Hi, everyone. I'm An Daeul, your favorite influencer, and I'm here to share with you some of my top-favorite essentials!" His first line is given a nod by the director, and he knows then that she's telling him to proceed; that his energy level and vocal clarity are fine. "First of all, we have this gorgeous oversized by tote-bag from Prada." Placing it in center, he shows it off with a smile. "I love how big it is, and I love that it adds a pop of color to any outfit I put on. I love using it in the spring and summer months, especially, but it works for winter, too."

Opening it up, he grabs onto the first item and grins from ear-to-ear; cheeky in spirit for the audience he's imaging in his head. "This is a polaroid camera, which I've recently become obsessed with. Last year, I started scrapbooking during downtime, and this camera has basically become my best friend. I take it with me everywhere." Setting it down carefully, he continues to the next item. "These are obvious, and I feel like an essential for most people these days, but I never leave without my AirPods. I'm one of those people who needs to have a song playing in the background of everything. I like thinking of my life as a drama, honestly."

With a round of laughter, he's excited to show what's up next. "This might sound corny, but this is a necklace that my grandmother gave to me back in Jeju. She filled this small vial with sand from the beach near our house, then told me that she wants me to keep this with me at all times so I never forget where I come from..." Daeul smiles fondly, clutching it in his palm. "If I don't wear it, I usually have it in my bag. My grandma is my favorite person in the world. Love you, grandma." He lilts, making a mental to note to phone home later.

"Now, these... are life-changing!" Slowly, he sets a couple of bottles of supplements and vitamins on the table; presenting them with flutters of his fingers. "I'm on the move a lot, and these really help me make sure I'm taking care of myself when I'm rushing around. I don't think I've gotten sick in years, and I genuinely believe it's thanks to these. I highly recommend you consider adding some supplements into your daily routine. You'll thank me later!"

Throughout the duration of the video, he showcases his all-time favorite scent, Le Labo's Santal 33, his favorite book of poetry penned by queer writers, a scarf that was gifted to him by a designer of a brand he's partnered with, a rose water face mist, and lastly, a package of the coveted Pokémon bread; the one with Jigglypuff on the wrapper. At the end of it, he opens the snack and takes a huge bite; sweetly sending the viewers off with a funny smile, his lightly glossed pout littered with crumbs of the strawberries-and-creme-flavored pastry.

When all is said and done, he's told they'll get it edited and posted soon, and as he heads onto his next schedule for the day, he feels like he did as good of a job as he could.

You know what makes you really uncool? Plagiarism.

OK, so I am exhausted mentally and emotionally here, but really given the events of the last week or so I really need to just set the record straight on a few things.

(In the interest of not clogging up everyone's feed with Not Fun Topics, I will be dropping the main body of this post under a break.)

Note: the intention of this post is for a PSA/fact-sharing purpose ONLY. I do not want anyone getting grief for this. Please just file the information away and leave people alone. Thank you in advance.

For those who don't know, I'm one of the admins for Harry Potter Fanfiction Club discord server. We discovered recently that The Adult Fandom Project discord server plagiarized our framework, and a few of the mods are now claiming that a) this is not a big deal, and b) that HPFC staff has been harassing them. This is not true.

We reached out to them through our ticket system (and very briefly through theirs) in a moderating capacity as they are were members of our server who broke a fucking rule. We were polite about it, and explained the situation, and offered to help them fix it. They apologized, said they'd get the verbiage changes up by the end of the week, but the channels were going to take a little longer. That's valid, no big deal. Well, the end of the week came and went and they still have giant sections of their server that are identical to ours, which was kind of the big thing we wanted changed. Between that and the vagueblogging (1, 2, 3) we spotted, it was pretty clear what they thought of our concerns -- even if I assume that wires got crossed and these concerns weren't clearly communicated (which is still possible.)

I want to be clear here: the issue was not "you made a Hogwarts-themed server and that really hurt our feelings :( "

The issue is that they copied our shit and didn't even TRY to change it. So, yeah, we're kinda ticked off about that.

That's also just a small section/example. I have receipts, which includes (in my view) proof that 3/4 of the TAFP mods we spoke to were likely not engaging with us in good faith, and were only interested in crafting a narrative that painted them as the victims and us as the aggressors. If you've been following me, you probably know that me engaging like this at all is unheard of... I straight up do not do this shit. I much prefer to stay in my little sandbox with my blorbos and mind my fucking business.

But they came into MY HOUSE. They stole the blueprints and fancied themselves architects, but didn't bother learning how to dig a foundation before they "built" the frame.

It's all well and good to preach about "making the fandom community you want to see" but when push comes to shove we've been doing exactly that for 2 1/2 years. Those blueprints they stole? That's the result of 35+ staff members busting their asses and polling what is now a fairly large adult-only fandom server (sitting at about 2.5k.) All those events and infrastructure? It developed around and grew with our community -- our foundation. It's all fine-tuned for HPFC's use. We would have helped the folks over at TAFP figure out their own infrastructure if they'd just... asked.

That's kind of the crux of the issue here. If they had asked, this would be a non-issue. But they didn't ask. They just took. And they don't respect the work that goes into making something like that -- if they did, they wouldn't have stolen it, but they also wouldn't tell us it doesn't matter when we call them out on it.

As for what comes next... I want to be extremely clear here: I do not support any harassment of Ollie or any of their mod team. This includes publicly bashing the server. Literally, please do not do that. I disagree with the way that they handled things, and I am angry, but all that I wanted was to clear the air and explain what happened and why my entire team is so upset right now. I do not want anyone getting hurt over this any more than they already have.

Thursday Thoughts: On outlining

I felt compelled to write this because I've shared some of the outlines that I've written for both my finished works and WIPs with some fellow fic writers. So I wanted to share how I approach my outlines more broadly, in case anyone out there finds it helpful to learn about my process/approach…!

First things first, I am a writer who needs an outline.

I need the goalposts to ensure I have the story's destination in mind. I need the source-of-truth document in which I can dump all my ideas for scenes and plot points, even if those things change (more on that in a bit).

I write my outlines as if I were writing them for someone else.

I do this even if I don’t plan to share them with anyone else, primarily for the following reasons:

It helps me to frame my story for my “ideal reader,” a.k.a. the person/audience that I’m targeting within this story.

It forces me to reflect on and ensure that I know what story I’m trying to tell. In my mind, if I am able to convey my story and major plot points in outline format (i.e., in a format that is succinct and clear and digestible), then I am sure about what I am ultimately trying to say.

I always start my outlines with summaries.

And I always have two summaries at the top of the doc (to illustrate, I'm using my outline for current WIP, "sins of our fathers").

The first summary is my "elevator pitch" summary.

More often than not, this becomes my summary when I post the fic on AO3. I also like to think of it as the summary that would exist on a book jacket, on a product listing online, what I would tell a stranger on the street who would ask me, "What's your story about?"

This summary must hook the reader. It must sound enticing. To me, if I cannot summarize my story in a way that draws someone in, then I need to spend some time understanding what I'm trying to say. Not in terms of plot events, but — more importantly — in terms of theme and objective.

Here's what my "elevator pitch" summary is for "sins of our fathers":

In the rural town of Paradise, California, the Jaegerists are law, maintaining order and protecting the people with iron and blood. Eren Jaeger has known his entire life that this town and this clan are his birthright and, at 25 years old, he’s poised to step into the leadership role for which his father has prepared him. But when he inadvertently crosses paths with Mikasa Ackerman, the soon-to-be heir of the rival gang determined to overthrow the Jaegerists’ reign, the two would-be enemies find themselves questioning their lives’ predetermined paths — and how much they need to pay for the sins of the generations before them.

The second summary is my extended overview of the plot.

This is where I get a bit more verbose, where I elaborate a bit more on the central conflicts, spoil some of the bigger plot points, and expand on character motivations. Ultimately, this is important for me to anchor the subsequent parts of my outline (the chapters and scenes) against my elevator pitch — and, therefore, ensure that I'm writing with the overall theme in my mind.

This is also very helpful if and when I bring a beta along the journey! I may not have time to be able to provide all the necessary context to them for a chapter or scene that I need their help reworking. This extended summary serves as a helpful "home base," if you will, for the beta return, in order to ensure that I, the writer, is bringing them along the journey that I intended to.

My outlines also include extensive details of the chapters.

This includes both a chapter summary and a list of anticipated scenes that comprise the chapter. The chapter summary, similar to the extended summary, is the anchor for my writing. It includes information on who shows up in the chapter, what they're going to do and who they interact with, setting, emotional state, even point of view (if that is changing at all throughout the course of the story). When I finally sit down to write the chapter, this amount of detail reminds me of what I'm ultimately trying to convey — and what actions and development need to take place in order to move the story along as I intended.

(Again, this level of detail is really helpful to the beta, too! For me, presenting my ideas in this way has actually helped them provide constructive feedback regarding structure, character development, themes, etc. even before I have more solidified drafts for them to review.)

Finally, and most importantly, my outlines are living documents!

While I do put a lot of time and effort and detail into crafting my outlines in this matter, I also keep in the back of my mind: this outline may (will most likely) change as I continue my writing, and that is okay.

I reblogged a post from @theplottery earlier this week that summarizes why this is so key. But, in short, the outline must be flexible because the writing journey is ever-evolving. Sometimes, things that we envisioned at the beginning might end up not making sense within the characters' development, or you've realized that another, more impactful event can occur instead.

Ultimately, the outline should serve as guidelines, rather than a rule book. It can be tweaked for the purpose of your characters and their story, but it is there as something to fall back on when wading through the writing journey.

Usually my thinking process for the day is as follows. I pray, then I go to Bible Gateway and read the verse of the day. I read the whole chapter to get the context. I get ready for the day. I watch a sermon. It's pretty random after that. I'm just trying to get to the point as to how I ended up writing on tumblr today. Aside from the horrible Kdrama I saw yesterday that almost got me all depressed. I don't even want to think about it now. I will explain it on another post on another day.

Back to why I'm having to process my thoughts right now. On the channel where I was watching the sermon today, there was a show instead of a sermon and they were talking about perceptual intelligence. This man wrote a book about it and you would think he would talk about how to apply it to understanding the life of Jesus. Instead he was talking about how to apply it to your relationships in life. He didn't really explain perceptual intelligence, they would just ask people what they thought it meant.

So naturally if the man isn't going to explain it I'm going to google it.

This is what it means, because it's fun to learn.

What is the meaning of perceptual intelligence?

“Perceptual intelligence” (PI) refers to the way people interpret their experiences in order to distinguish between fantasy and reality. Individuals have different levels of PI, a skill you can develop through conscious practice. You can change how you view the world.

Now I'm going to admit I did not hear much about what the man was saying because I was just thinking about what that has to do with Jesus or Christianity because he went off about it in relationships. The only relationship I'm thinking about is Jesus when I'm watching a sermon.

So yeah my whole thought process for today was the verse of the day at Bible Gateway which was John 15 ( because I read the whole chapter for context) and perceptual intelligence.

Then this is where it got messed up because I got on TIktok and you know Tiktok. Someone shows up on my fyp talking about Celine Dion and how she has a rare sickness. Because social media pretty much uses our perceptual intelligence to give us information, you know the person talking about it was a christian and she was saying that Celine Dion had the sickness because of her spirituality and how she made a children's line that was pagan like (to use other words).

Already I feel like I'm going to have to make another post. These are pretty long but ... the person on Tiktok isn't lying. The problem is that people don't know about sin or what it is. People don't know what wickedness is. This world is a free for all. People only want order and rules when they can benefit from it and as long as they don't get hurt. That's great when you live in the fantasy of your own importance, however we have to share the planet with other people. Therefore, if you want to live with other happy people you have to take care of people in general and think about their mental well being.

That means being responsible with your character, and your beliefs and how you care for other people's character and beliefs. That contributes to the mental health of humanity. Oh you don't think it does but, it does. Especially in this influencer driven society we live in now.

So sin is understood by most people as something that you do that is not good but you were tempted to do it. That's the general understanding of sin. In the bible, sin is separation from God because it harms you and others. The bible has a few lists of certain sins and many examples of how people sinned and how God reacted to sin.

I can now see whey people don't talk about God, it's a lot of information. But to make it simple if you happen to read this and you're not a christian, every action you make has a reaction.

Good with good and bad with bad. God is honest and really forgiving, the reason for Jesus. But people have to find out for themselves. We don't want people to suffer and try to say things to help but ultimately they have to hear from God, either through someone that speaks their language that God sends but usually most people hear it from reading the bible.

I say this all to say that, life is hard. Let's listen to each other while we can. No matter what we believe in. The reality is that we all live on this world and thank God we're all different. God isn't the one who does the bad stuff, it's the bad you pay attention to. Therefore, pay attention to who you pay attention to. Pay attention to the good things. Like there is always hope.

This is coming from someone who once posted on here about being led by a false hope. That sucked. That's why I wouldn't do it to anyone else. Don't do that, that's wickedness.

Honestly, I get on here to distract myself but hopefully God willing, this helps someone in the best way.

This is either going to be about Tesla Einstein and Schrodingers relationships or devolve into me talking about my AU. Whichever comes first. Good luck.

*Update

Half way through writing this and I'm here to inform you that this still mostly about the Einslas and Schrodingers relationship except now I'm talking about how tech illiterate she is.

I'm sorry I've just been thinking about these three for the past several hours and I need to talk about this somewhere so here I am. Schrodinger Tesla and Einstein all studied under Planck, right? Now listen their ages go like this

Einstein < Tesla < Schrodinger < Planck, Einstein being the youngest and Planck being the oldest. Now listen.. Schrodinger is Tesla and Einsteins older sister.

Schrodinger is a menace just like the other two, only difference is that she's a quiet menace. However unlike them she waits for her time to strike (Planck mentions how she only speaks when she has a chance to make her look wrong (as she should) iirc).

This is an important note because Schrodinger was 100% a bad influence on Tesla and Einstein. Like you can not tell me that she didn't mess with them in the slightest. She 100% was a bad influence and messed with them all the time.

Though she also does care about them a lot. She views them as her younger sisters in a way and doesn't want them to get hurt.

Tbh I feel like her relationship with Tesla and Einstein differ highly, both before what happened in 1955 and what happened after it.

I'll start off with Einstein and Schrodinger first since I think it'll be easiest to explain.

I'm assuming Schrodinger is a little older than Tesla, putting her at around 23 - 24? I tried looking but I can't find if she has an actual canonical age. (If anyone has a screenshot where it says it please tell me I beg.)

Why that's important will come into play later, but just remember it for now.

Tbh I don't really think Einstein and Schrodinger were that close? Like they cared about each other, but the seven year age gap made it difficult for them to really be close if that makes sense. Schrodinger would help her if she was struggling with her learning / not understanding something, but other than that they weren't particularly close.

After Schrodinger escaped the sea of quanta, however, I feel like it probably changed slightly. Now that they were all older Schrodinger was more willing to discuss things she otherwise wouldn't have before. However they're both quiet and reserved people so I doubt they really know much about each other still. They both talked about what happened between the time that they were separated, but after that I assume Schrodinger kept to herself again (specifically with her interests / private life / etc.), and since Schrodinger is vibing else where now I really doubt they share much.

Tesla and Schrodingers relationship is different, mainly because unlike Einstein who had Planck, Tesla really didn't have anyone else to talk to. Tbh I feel like Schrodinger would listen to her complaints occasionally and when she was upset over something and didn't want to talk to Einstein.

Schrodinger also probably teases her a lot. Not in Plancks way of teasing, but still teasing nonetheless.

That being said Tesla probably didn't know much about Schrodinger either since she prefers not to talk about her private life much.

After she escaped the SoQ I feel like a lot happened. Like the first few days / weeks they'd talk often. Mainly due to Tesla and Einstein missing her and wanting to make sure that she was doing okay and if they could help her. This was especially the case since technology had advanced significantly since Schrodinger had last seen or used it and they essentially had to become the grandkid who helps their grandparent figure out what a darn google is.

LIKE LISTEN TO ME????? Schrodinger might not be old like how the einslas aren't technically old but the internet wasn't even around when she got thrown into the SoQ. I know technically she was exposed to some sort of technology when she was in the SoQ but that's not the same as learning how to use it. Especially considering the fact that it might not even work the same as it did within the bubble universe she was in. Even if it was similar there's no guarantee that it was even at the same level of technological evolution as it was in current time.

She'd probably get a grasp on it eventually, but it was extremely difficult at first. I have a feeling that she'd be like Li Sushang in a way if she didn't have Tesla and Einstein around helping her learn how everything works lmao.

The three of them probably have a group chat to discuss things. Only issue being that Schrodinger forgets she even has a phone and consistently just loses it. She's that one old person who takes a year to respond with an "okay." Tesla is frustrated because she thinks she's just ignoring her when in reality she just forgot that she even had a phone. Probably forgets to charge it too so it's almost always dead.

The einslas are trying their hardest to get her up to speed but they're Struggling.

Though Schrodinger does tend to catch on relatively quickly. Despite the struggle at first she probably does enjoy a lot of the new technology and finds it useful. She was also probably excited to learn about all of the things that Tesla and Einstein developed over the years.

That being said she never gets better at using a cellphone. Tesla and Einstein will never win on that front. Forever stuck with their phone illiterate best friend. Also she uses emojis that come off as passive aggressive. She does not care for the social rules put upon the little funny haha pictures in her phone.

Also does not understand memes like at all. Einstein tried to explain to her at some point what they were and she just does not understand them.

Tesla shows them to her all the time and she just stares blankly at her. She's not amused.

There's a lot more I want to talk about but I'll probably just put it in a different post because it involves PE Einstein and Tesla which is a whole different story entirely. It's extremely depressing too and I'd rather not have it with this for obvious reasons. I'll either post it tonight or tomorrow idk. Anyways.

If anyone wants clarification if I explained something poorly feel free to send an ask or reply and I'll try to answer it. I'm illiterate and bad at explaining things LMAO.
