I haven't been on Tumblr in months but I'm still alive if you were wondering, anyways I'm probably going to leave for another 6 months now lol

Spicy-brained friends, I would like to propose an update to the very useful ‘if you hate everyone, eat, if everyone hates you, sleep, and if you hate yourself, shower’ mantra to live by

Have you suddenly become a petty, hateful little gremlin who thinks people should face the firing squad for (checks notes) leaving teabags on the counter, breathing loudly, or daring to exist in the same space as you? Perhaps mundane and reasonable requests like ‘hey, we agreed to hang out now, let’s hang out’ make you want to scream and move to a yurt in the woods.

You. Are. Overstimulated.

People talk a lot about being overstimulated, and the physical/mental effects of it. What I haven’t seen is people talking about what it does emotionally, and it took me an embarassingly long time to link up those nitpicky, resentful emotions with the state of overstimulation/meltdown/shutdown.

These feelings do not mean that you’re a bad person! They probably aren’t how you actually feel about the people around you. They probably do mean that your nervous system is at its absolute limit and any request/demand/stimulus is Too Much and taking you into fight or flight territory.

Go lie down in a dark room for an hour, or find somewhere safe and familiar to stim for a bit. If it’s happening a lot, schedule yourself regular low-stimulation shutdown time

If I can spare anyone else a similar 9 months of suspecting that they may actually be a bit of a shit person, then this post is worth it!

i DID see people on tiktok saying that we shouldn’t care about palestine because they’re conservative and anti lgbt and a whole bunch of shit and. for real? for real? THAT is touch grass. I sometimes wonder whether people actually read or watch or just are observing superficially.

There was this discussion on YouTube about how Gojo would train team 7. And there were a bunch of people who were like gojo wouldn’t have taken sasuke’s attitude or would have corrected the “wrong” sasuke was doing.

Like do they know gojo character. He is extremely anti authority, he hates all power structures and constantly shits on them and doesn’t listen to them.

He would have totally supported sasuke, he would easily be the biggest anti konoha person there is.

Everyday I see people on the internet mourning and condemning genocide and facisim of the past while saying things like “how did people allow this to happen” meanwhile when equally horrific things are happening now in real-time, these same people are completely silent.

Unarmed Palestinian civilians (and I’m fucking tired of adding how they’re unarmed civilians in every post so that you can understand the magnitude of what’s going on) from all ages are being beaten, disfigured, displaced and even slaughtered by fully-armed soldiers from one of the world’s strongest armies, which in-turn are funded with billions from the US, the world’s strongest military, in an illegally occupied city where it’s literally a public law that says non-jewish people aren’t allowed to exceeds 40% of the population. 

Palestinians don’t want your money, they’re just beginning for you to share what’s happening to them because right now the only thing standing between them getting massacred and ethnically cleansed on their own land is universal condemnation, this isn’t about being performative/woke anymore, innocent people’s lives literally depends on how many retweets/posts/attention they get.

At this point if you’re not speaking right now, there’s no point in speaking anytime.

PLEASE DO NOT THINK FOR EVEN A SECOND THAT YOUR VOICE WILL NOT HAVE AN IMPACT THIS IS LITERALLY THE BARE MINIMUM
