It'll be a general animation of the life series in general, and not shippy! Just general... Really wanted to animate this scene first though to some degree teehee
If you'd be so kind, please suggest some significant feeling scenes that I could add into the animation involving Impulse, Skizz, and Pearl outside of Double Life + Lizzie outside of Secret Life!!

Naga!Toby x Sunshine!Curious!Reader
(18+, Ovi, Overstimulation, Double pen, Dubcon, rimming, sex venom, breeding)
You stumbled over a branch, letting out a gasp as one sliced across your cheek. You let out a whine as you rubbed your cheek, fingertips coming back red. You pouted and slumped your shoulders, rolling your eyes as you shuffled back to your feet. Your lip twisted as you rooted through your bag, pulling out some antiseptic spray.
You tended your wound as best as you could, hissing as the liquid burned your wound. Luckily you didn't think it was that deep. Part of you was ready to give up, it had already been hours since you had set out on your exploration. But curiosity kept your feet moving, determined to see if the reports were real. Part of you knew it was stupid, for god's sake it was a report from almost 100 years ago.
But when you found it, you knew you had to find out. It was locked up in an old government building for a reason.
And that was that, you booked the flight and bought a boat. It had taken almost a year for you to get to the island, completely isolated and abandoned. It was thick with foliage, leaves almost triple your size. You pulled out a bottle of water, quickly downing the sweet liquid but careful to ration it. It didn't rain often but it was enough to not have to worry too much. The island was also ripe with fruits, it wasn't the best but it could keep you going as far as you needed.
You took in the sight for a moment as you mindlessly slipped your water bottle back into your bag, vibrant greens purples and reds filled your vision. It was breath taking, almost hard to believe somewhere existed on earth that was so beautiful.
You froze for a moment, focusing hard as you tried to listen closer to the sound. You let out a small breath as a smile spread wide across your features, quickly pulling the report out of your bag. It had been burnt but there was at least something to go on.
'Water ran red with blood
Everyone d'
There was water, and you could hear the sound of a very distant waterfall. It sounded really far away but hope overrode your brain and you hastily made your way towards it, batting leaves out of your way.
The sound got louder as you got closer, cementing that you were going in the right direction. You must've been speed walking for an hour before you finally had to stop, chest heaving as you practically dropped against a tree. Your mouth felt as dry as a bone in the desert, you practically ripped your bag open to get your water. Care going out the window as you chugged down the sweet liquid, you drank the entire bottle thanking the stars you at least had two more.
You popped the now empty bottle back into your bag, letting yourself breath as you stared up at the trees. You pulled out the report again, going to the page about its appearance.
'It had a long dark green patterned, scaled tail, it must have went on for at least four foot. It had long black spikes down its back and a ferocious human face permanently set in a scowl. It bleeds black as the night sky as it hisses and spits venom at those who dare get too close. It has already taken out five men
Gus torn in half beast gripped his ne
wont last much lo'
You read as best as you could around the burned edges, feeling bad for the poor creature. It probably just wanted to be alone, instead it was ganged up on and attacked. You knew there was a danger to what you were doing, it wouldn't trust humans. You knew that much. But you hoped coming alone and unarmed might make it see you wouldn't hurt it, you just needed to know more.
If what they had written was true and there really was a Naga out there, you had fixated on the being since you had first read about. Utterly hypnotised and hungry to learn more. A half snake half man, you almost shook in excitement. Surely if it wasn't entirely human then it wouldn't have a human life cycle? It was what you prayed for anyway.
Once you had finally relaxed into the tree you rose yourself back up, shaking out tense thighs and cracking your neck. "Let's go." You whispered to yourself, beginning your journey again.
Just as you felt you were going to drop dead, you finally saw it through the trees. A large pound and the waterfall that sounded like heavens trumpets. With a newfound energy you surged forward, ignoring the leaves and branches that scratched at your skin.
At this point all you could think about was the sweet water, all thoughts flung out of your mind as you raced towards the pond. You dropped to your knees as you cupped your palms and gulped up the water. It could be infected with something but at this point you didn't care, all that mattered was the cold liquid sliding down your throat as you guzzled it down.
You stretched forward, sliding your body into the water and letting out a groan of appreciation as the cool water sloshed against your skin. The heat on the island had gotten unbearable at this point and you finally relaxed as you felt the hot sticky sweat coating your body washed away.
You pushed your self up, shaking the water out of your hair as you finally took a look around. Eyes quickly drawn to the large green striped lump, eyes doubling as you scrambled up and ran over to it. You saw it laying passed out on the ground, you couldn't deny the fact your breath got sucked out of your lungs.
He was gorgeous, thick brown hair framing his pale face. Dark circles ringed his eyes and his chest was defined, his biceps thick. You had no doubt it could kill you in a heart beat, the thought alone excited you in a twisted way. You brushed the thoughts away, bending down and searching him for any obvious wounds. You found what looked like a tip of a spear stuck into his tail, mind thinking back to the report. From the angle it was, he wouldn't have been able to properly grip and pry it out himself.
You frowned, you didn't know it's anatomy. Just what humans guessed was it's anatomy. For all you knew you could tear a vein pulling it out, yet the thick yellow and black crust that had built up around it had your chances limited. It was clearly infected, it had to be removed.
You squatted down, hands grasping the spear tip as you pulled with all your might. His skin was thick and clung to it, but you finally got it, throwing it as far away as you could. Blood quickly ran from the wound and without a second thought you pulled your shirt off and used it to try and clot the wound. A sudden hiss and you dipped down just in time to miss venom that had been shot at you.
"I want to help!" You yelled out, keeping pressure on the wound. "Please don't move." He stilled, looking at you with an untrusting glare. Yet he made no move as you kept pushing down on his wound, his black blood soaking through your shirt and coating your hands.
"Why?" He hissed, baring his fangs at you in warning. "You didn't deserve what happened. I just. Want to know more about you." You hoped he was see the sincerity on your face, instead he spat again. At least he didn't aim for you. You tumbled back onto your ass as it rose up, towering over you and making you feel tiny.
You anxiously gazed up at him, fear sparking through your body. "Ssso you can tell other humanss where I am?" His voice bellowed and you swore it shook the entire forest. You threw your hands up, shaking them and your head. "No! I swear! I wont ever tell anyone." You gasped out as you slid back, his eyes glowing as his slit pupils constricted. His eyes searched your body. "You wont. You can't leave now." Your face dropped when he suddenly ripped you up into his arms, your legs wrapping around his waist.
"You would look ssssoo pretty full of my eggss." Your eyes bulged out as you choked. "Wh-what?" You shrieked out, panic swimming through your veins and stabbing you straight into the heart. "Theress no otherss like me. You will do." He chuckled as a long tongue suddenly ran up your neck, you let out a deep breath as you froze.
His abnormally long tongue ran over your neck, leaving saliva in its trail as it explored you. Whimpers left you when his tongue finally found your nipple, massaging the bud and smirking as you twitched in his grasp. He had no idea humans were so sensitive. He pulled you off of him, dropping you to the floor before quickly turning you around and shoving you face first into the ground.
You whined as he yanked off your shorts, clawed hands grasping your ass and spreading it apart. You dug your nails into the ground, yelping when you felt his tongue lick a stripe up your ass. "Wha-wha." You choked out, getting cut off when he dove his tongue into you. "A-Ah!" You whined out, back arching as his tongue dug deep inside of you rubbing the most sensitive parts of you.
You shook in his hold as he ate you out, his cheeks pressing against you as drool dripped down your ballsack. You sobbed as you rocked back, lost in the feeling of his tongue twisting inside of you. Your voice only got higher, his fingers leaving bruises on your ass as he gripped you tight, trying to keep you in place.
"Puh-please." You begged, entire body shaking. He slipped a finger into you, slurping obscenely around the digit. You came hard, you hadn't ever felt anything like this. You hadn't been touched by anyone before, and here a supposed mythical creature was tongue deep inside of you and you felt like you were floating away.
Despite already cuming you whined when he pulled his fingers and tongue out, a chuckle coming from him as he picked you up and wrapped your legs around his hips. He pulled you close, mouthing your neck before biting down onto your flesh. You let out a groan at the pain, face scrunching up as your body began loosing up.
"What. Are you doing?" You questioned, voice lethargic. "You could never take me with out thiss." Instead of questioning him you rested your chin on top of his shoulder, almost passing out in his arms.
The feeling of something slimy rubbing against your hole had you moaning and pulling back, lidded eyes gazing at the naga. His hand wrapped around your neck, keeping your face in his view as he began sinking you down onto his cock. You whined desperately the further he pushed in, lungs sinking as you were stretched beyond your limit. Desperate begging falling from your lips as he bottomed out inside of you.
You looked down to see your stomach bulge with his cock, lips dropping and moaning at the sight of it. "You will do very good indeed." Toby thanked the god's for this, finally he had been provided a suitable mate to store his eggs inside of.
He easily bounced you on his cock, drinking in every moan that left your lips. Smirk coating his face as he watched his little mate writhe with pleasure all because of him. You were reduced to a moaning whining mess, crying in his arms as pleasure tore your very being apart.
You mindlessly rode him, head flung back as his hand around your neck kept you tethered to reality. You could barley take a breath, his cock hitting deep inside of you. You yelped when he slid two fingers into you, gasping at the burning stretch. "N-no. Too much." You rasped out. He chcukled. "it'ss okay. You can take it. I need to fertilisse my eggss." He grinned before he dove into your neck, sucking into your flesh.
"Aa-." You groaned out, voice wreaked. Once toby had worked four more fingers into you he pulled them out, laughing at the way you whined. "Don't worry. You'll be full sssooon." He drawled out, teeth gleaming in the now moonlight. You hadn't even noticed it hadn't gotten dark.
The feeling of another cock penetrating you threw all thoughts out of the window, breath and body freezing as you gaped at Toby. Choking as he slid his other appendage deep into you. He let out a loud groan. "F-fuck. Ssso goo-good." He groaned out, his self control leaving him as he began ramming into you. He punched the breath back into you and if you could be embarrassed you would, your voice was incredibly pitched and whiney.
You freely cried, moaning as you sobbed. Completely overwhelmed was how you felt as the Naga impaled you on not one but two cocks. You thrashed in his arms as your body shook, cum shooting out of your cock and coating both of your chests. Toby felt victorious, his mate clearly enjoyed their breeding. It made him ecstatic.
It wasn't long before you felt something push into you, before you knew it a few more somethings were shooting into you. You whined in confusion and slight fear, the idea of the naga actually inserting egg's in to you shaking you to your core. "You ca-can take it." You just whined pitifully, fully spent as your body spasmed around his cock.
You watched as your own stomach expanded, jaw dropping. You couldn't tell if you were horrified or excited. Before you could stop yourself you pressed your lips to his, whining into his mouth as his cum flooded inside of you. It felt almost unbearable.
He gently fucked you through it, stopping once he had finally given you all he could. "Ssso pretty. My pretty mate." He grinned while petting your hair, keeping his cocks buried deep inside of you so he didn't spill any of his precious eggs.

Hey, I love your writing so much. Would you mind writing a fic where the reader and tony share a platonic love, like they can be best friends or something like that. A fluffy one where he comforts her in a bad day. Its really hard to find this kind of fics for him . ☺️
Hi, angel! Thank you so much! I've never written anything platonic with Tony before. I also made it young!Tony. Hope you enjoy :)
Summary: Tony comforts you during a bad day
Warnings: Mild angst and some fluff. All mistakes are my own.

Tony leaned against the locker as he waited for you to leave class. He could see you through the small window on the door, head resting in your palm, knee bouncing. You were clearly upset and had been all day.
When you arrived to class late, that's when he first noticed something was wrong. Dark under eyes, backpack unzipped with your textbooks almost slipping out. You sagged into your chair and leaned your head against the surface of the desk in front of you as you gazed vacantly out the window.
The hallways filled with students as the bell rang, chatter filling your already overstimulated brain. All you wanted was to do was go home and lock yourself in your room.
“How was class, Tulip?” Tony asked when you stepped out of class.
“It was okay.” You shrug, handing him your book bag when he extends his hand.
The walk to his car was silent. Normally you talk about your day, letting him know how your classes were, and whatever drama was going around the school. He decided not to push you to talk, instead letting the silence linger as he reached for the door for you to get in, gently closing it when you started buckling your seatbelt.
You leaned your head against the window, admiring the trees as Tony drove you home, but you furrowed your brows when he passed your turn.
“What are you doing?” You asked.
“I want to take you somewhere.” He replied nonchalantly.
“Tony, I just want to go home. Please.” You sigh, not understanding why he couldn’t just take you home. All you wanted to do was hide under your covers till the next morning.
You let out an annoyed breath, crossing your arms and moving your legs closer to the door. Tony frowned when he saw how you closed yourself off from him, but continued driving. He knew this would make you feel better.
A few minutes later, Tony turns onto a dirt road and you instantly notice how the scattered trees start becoming more dense. He pulls up to the edge of the cliff and puts the car in park. Opening the door, you feel the cool breeze and pull up your hood.
Your eyes begin to water as you sit on the edge, feet dangling in the air as you admire the waterfall from a far.
Tony and you stumbled upon this waterfall by mistake and instantly fell in love with how beautiful it was. It became your spot. You’d spent countless nights sitting here, talking about anything and everything, and the fact that Tony brought you here meant so much to you.
“Do you want to talk about it? Or do you just want to sit here?” He asks, sitting beside you and bringing you into his side so you can lay your head on his shoulder.
“It’s just been a bad day. I woke up with this heavy feeling and I thought it would disappear as the day went on, but it just got worse. Nothing went how it was supposed to. I was late for class, failed my exam, got paired up with the worst partner for our biology project.” You ranted as Tony rubbed your shoulder in a comforting manner. The more you talked, the more you cried. You didn’t realize how overwhelmed you were until now.
“Hey, it’s just one bad day, Tulip. Tomorrow is going to be so much better, yeah?” He asks, looking down at you with a smile.
You let his words sink in, nodding as you press yourself against him.
“Yeah, just one bad day.” You repeat, taking a deep breath.
“And if tomorrow is just as bad, we can come here again and we can talk, or we can sit here in silence. Whatever you want. You don’t need to bottle that feeling up. Lean on me. You know I’ll always help you.” He said, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
A warm feeling washed over you as he spoke. You weren’t sure what you did to have Tony in your life, but you were forever grateful for the friendship you two developed.

Hi I’m currently curled up in bed with a horrible head cold and a waterfall of blood trying to escape my vagina. I need some sweet headcanons on how s&v Peter would take care of his honey while she’s sick and has a particularly rough period and doesn’t want to move. 😘
Tumblr media
Katie I’m so sorry you’re not feeling well!!! I have a hard kink for being taken care of when I’m sick… I’m just gonna put that out there into the universe in case anyone wants to build a time machine to go back to the past and somehow rewire my partner's nature
Tumblr media
I'm usually horrible at answering requests or responding to asks because everything in my house is usually on fire, but for you, I present you with Liz's peniscillin.
i said what i said.
Here’s what I see
Honey’s a night owl and gets caught up in little projects which cause her to stay up late. Problem is she also enjoys the morning so sleep is elusive. This usually works well for Peter because sometimes his work keeps him late, and when he finally comes home she still has the energy to spend time with him. She stays up late (hopefully not just patching him up), but also making him a meal, working on a gallery wall in the foyer, or making blondies for Bella’s bake sale.
Her late-night energy is part of why Peter needs to seek her out to tell her “time for bed.” She sometimes asks "5 more minutes?" Sometimes he obliges...if she promises to make it worth his while. Sometimes he gets impatient after 3 minutes and throws her over his shoulder to carry her up the stairs.
He notices something is off when he comes home close to 10:00pm and sees her slumped on the couch and snoring. It’s endearing until he hears a slight wheeze of congestion in her chest. He gently places a hand to her head. Fever. She’s still beautiful to him, but the signs of her lack of rest are evident. Her skin doesn’t have its usual luster. Her eyes are puffy. She's caught what was going through Bella's entire school earlier this week, which means she's in for a couple of long nights.
He brings her to bed and wakes her only for water and medicine. She tries to refuse it and tries to convince him "I'm awake now... just napping.... how was your day?" He’s not having it. He has to practically yank her across the bed and hold her to his chest for her to stow her energy and go back to sleep.
The next morning it’s worse. She feels like a furnace up against Peter. Doesn't wake up until almost 11, and once she finally wakes up, she’s startled at how late it is. She drags herself out of bed (like a zombie) in a rush to catch up on her plans, but Peter can see how quickly she runs out of steam. He insists that she go back to bed; and to take something a bit stronger for her symptoms, but she hates being sick and is stubborn about it. She does that thing where she sneaks out of bed like a kid as soon as he goes downstairs to work, thinking he won't notice her feet pattering around while she's coughing up a lung. By 3pm, she feels like death. Peter is not pleased with her refusing to take care of herself.
Enter FULL DOM!NURSE!Peter. She hates cough medicine? He doesn’t care. She suddenly doesn't like the taste of water? Tough. If she doesn't stop being a baby, he'll tip her chin back and pour it down her throat (and try to keep that thought out of the gutter). He takes her temperature every hour (with a thermometer, even though he can tell she's warm just by touch), until she gets bratty about this too. She doesn’t have an appetite? Well too bad, here’s Aunt May’s mishmash recipe (“ya gotta eat something...") and ("are you going to insult my aunt's memory by not having any?") which she balks at and says he's playing dirty. He can't disagree. Playing dirty has served him well so far.
Most importantly, he tells her to get back in bed and stay there. Is he a little forceful with his tone? Maybe. But she needs to know everything else can wait — the bake sale, the decorations for Miles’ upcoming birthday ("it doesn’t matter if he’s turning 17 or 7, everyone needs a piñata, Peter!")—all of it can wait until she's healthy. She whines and Peter doubles down. He sends her to bed and warns her gently, that if she can’t stay in bed, he’s going to tie her down.
She is not opposed to this idea at all, but by 4pm her body aches all over (not in a sexy way, either) and whatever sex drive she had is gone, blown out through a pile of tissues on the nightstand.
It's not that she's not tired, Peter can see it in her droopy gaze. It's that she's lonely. Once Peter realizes this, he cancels his meetings for the rest of the day, gets in comfy clothes and curls up next to her. She doesn't want to get him sick, but he's not worried about that.
They watch The Princess Bride in bed. But by the time Grandpa really gets into the story, she's fast asleep on his shoulder. He's okay with not moving.
Feel better, my sister in angst.

Tears
To angst or not to angst? That t'was the question for day three of @fransweek. Luckily, I'm indecisive.
The rain was pounding in Waterfall. Each drop was large and fast. It didn’t really matter to the two guards that could be seen sparring, though. Alphys wasn’t going easy and could be heard yelling at Sans, telling him to move faster, to be stronger. Sans was silent, calculating each of her moves, his own attacks moving at speeds that were difficult to register. Neither of them were willing to give up the fight until a cold wind blew through the Underground, causing Alphys to stumble back.
“you okay al?” Sans had stopped his assault and held out a gloved hand.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Weather must be pretty rough in Snowdin today, huh?” She slung her ax over her back and walked towards him.
“eh, it’s not the prettiest of sights. we’ve got a bad blizzard that’s been brewing. gonna head back to hotland?” He tilted his head to the side.
“You better believe it! I still don’t understand how you and Papyrus can stand living in that cold.” Sans shrugged and gestured to his skull.
“if i had to guess, i’d say it’s the lack of skin.” Alphys rolled her eyes before giving a curt goodbye a jogging away.
This left Sans to his thoughts, a thing he didn’t like being alone with. He thought about the past four years, how much everything had changed. Yet, it felt like nothing had changed. Everyone managed to grieve and reconcile with their feelings over losing two members of the royal family so easily. He didn’t understand why he couldn’t do the same, but he also didn’t know why the thought surprised him.
He had fallen in love with the princess. Of course, he couldn’t just move on. Too bad the only people that seemed to understand that, were also at odds with each other. He shook his head as he opened his front door.
“hey papyrus, i’m home!” He rolled his eyelights when he didn’t get a response.
Papyrus was either at Muffet’s getting wasted or was ignoring him, like usual. He didn’t really care too much as he climbed the stairs to his room and plopped on his mattress. He turned his head to the side and looked at a framed picture of Frisk and him. She was standing over him while was holding the camera, and they were both smiling like giant dorks. He propped himself up on one elbow and brushed away a tear that had trailed its way down his face. Man, he missed her.
“you know, i always liked this picture the best. it was so easy to get a genuine smile out of you but nearly impossible to capture it.” He chuckled to himself and held up the picture.
“i remember this picture specifically, because you tried rip it out of my hands. luckily, i happen to know that me having it means that you wanted me to keep it. with how determined you are-” His voice broke as he put the picture down.
“with how determined you were… with how determined you were.” He sat up in his bed as the tears began to flow more heavily.
“you know, it’s been four years since you died. it’s still pretty hard for me to believe. with your soul, i didn’t think it was possible. i really didn’t want to be proven wrong. joke’s on me, huh?” His head hung low as stared at his clenched fists.
Sans was startled when his phone rang, notifying him that one of his traps had been triggered. It was trap 2b; it was one of the harder ones to clear, but not a common one to be signaled. He looked up at his ceiling, praying to the stars that this wasn’t another snow drake incident, but he also didn’t really want it to be the last human either.
As he approached the trap, he could hear a menagerie of very loud cursing coming from the area.
“hey, do you mind keeping the profanities to a minimum? there are kids that play around here.” As he stepped around a bush, he paused to see if he could tell who it was he had accidentally captured.
“Get me out of here, and I’ll think about it!” Well, he had never heard that voice before, but he obliged.
“Thank you! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m looking for a way out of here! I didn’t mean to fall into the stupid hole, and I just want to go home.” Great, it was the last human soul that was needed, and they were not dressed for the blizzard that was halfway up their shins.
“if you stay out here much longer, you’ll catch hypothermia. i’ll take you to my home where we can wait out the storm, and i can tell you how you’re not getting home. you’ll want to be sitting for that, by the way.” He held out his hand to the human as their stomach grumbled.
“I don’t need your help, and I can get out of here. The ghost lady told me how. I’ll admit, it doesn’t sound like something that would work, but she said it would.” Sans took a step back.
“okay. one, i helped you out of the trap; you obviously need help. two, don’t kill anyone. three, who’s the ghost lady?” It was the human’s turn to take a step back.
“Who said anything about killing someone?! I would never do that. She told me to go see some scientist fish lady. You are also incorrect that I need your help after the first time you helped me; that’s not what that means. Are you telling me that you can’t see her?” Sans looked away for a brief second before turning to her with a smile that left her a bit unsettled.
“you do need my help, because i can get you there without any further trouble on your part. plus, there are about four more traps, each one harder than this one to get through. no, i can’t see the ghost lady, and we can just pretend that i said nothing about killing.” They looked him up and down before their knees slightly buckled because of the cold.
“Okay, you won me over. Just so you know, though. I would’ve made it through this trap if I had listened to the ghost lady. She got me through all the other ones. My name is Chara, by the way.” Chara looked away as they held out their hand.
“my name is sans. i am a member of the royal guard, and it’s a pleasure to meet you.” He started to lead them to his house while he thought about what they had just discussed.
The only other people that knew how to properly get through his traps were Papyrus and Frisk. Frisk also had these crazy theories about how to use the DT extractor that no one was supposed to know about. While he wanted to be hopeful that the ghost lady was Frisk, it was too painful to think about, so he blinked away the tears that threatened to flow and carried on.
Two weeks had passed since he had allowed Chara into his home. It was probably very lucky that he had, since they ended up catching a pretty bad cold. It was also fortunate that Papyrus seemed to enjoy their company and Alphys was very understanding when she dropped by for a surprise visit. That was fun to explain. He had also been texting back and forth with Undyne so she’d be ready for Chara. Each text he sent was monitored by the ghost lady, that still had no name, so Chara was able to tell him what exactly Undyne would need.
Eventually, the day came that Chara would see Undyne. Of course, there was some major geeking out between both parties before any work was done, but they did eventually crack down. It was nearly a month long process, Sans no longer being kept in the loop, so he just went back to sparring, training, and trying to not think for too long. One day, he received a phone call.
“Sans, come quick! You’re going to want to see this.” Before he could answer, Undyne had already hung up, leaving him in shock and rushing to the lab.
When he got there, if his jaw hadn’t been properly attached, it would have hit the floor.
“frisk?” She standing in front of him, in the flesh, Undyne and Chara on either side of her.
“Hey.” Her voice was barely above a whisper as tears gathered in her eyes.
“hey.” Sans wrapped her in a tight embrace, not caring that his tears were probably soaking through her sweater.

Zombified. (Larry Johnson x Fem!Reader.)
part 7.
co-written by @cupid-isgone
we wandered down the empty streets of a miscellaneous ghost town. Shattered glass and destroyed cars covered most of the street, meanwhile the rest of the open road was filled with heads and other organs.
We wandered around, looking for some extra supplies and a place to spend the night. there werent much useable supplies, but we found a decent house in a saferarea to sleep. All The Entire town didn't have power, unfortunatly, but we had flashlights and stuff to make do.
larry held the flashlight to his chain, illuminating his entire face" how about we tell ghost stories?"
"I think we are already paranoid enough." I said bouncing, attempting to take the excessive weight off my leg.
"don't be a pussy, y/n/n." Sal pushed me gently, making sure to avoid my bandaged arm.
"its not my fault there's zombies literally everywhere, I shrugged.
"S'not my fault there's zombies literally everywhere," I shrugged. I winced as I half-tripped over my next step, barely catching myself. "Ow, fuck!"
"Here, let me help." Larry's voice softened as he wrapped his arm around my waist to steady me, like how he did before my injuries started healing at all. I rolled my eyes and feigned exasperation, but leaned into him a little bit anyway.
"you're so annoying." I complained. I mean, he was. but, my leg was also giving me a hard time.
"just for you, babe." he winked at me.
"I don't think that's how that works.." sal trailed off.
Larry shook his head and rolled his eyes. we had explored half of the town before nightfall with no sign of zombies; which is fucking hilarious because as soon as we had just got comfortable, we heard a loud moan come from behind us.
"Damnit!"
We had to rush into a nearby house to settle for the night, since it was too dangerous to keep going with my injuries holding us back. Larry was practically half-dragging me into the house.
Sal sighed heavily. "Well, I guess we'll have to stay here for the night. Larry, do you think you can get up on the roof through the second floor windows? We should check to see how many zombies there are."
"we could just take turns keeping watch." I brought up.
sal looked at me. "that's a really good idea. we could switch off every couple hours."
"and get some sleep." Todd added.
"sounds like a plan. me and y/n will take first shift. is that cool?"
"yeah, I guess." I shrugged. "are you two okay with that?"
"you don't have to stick with Larry, you can come with me and I'll make sal deal with him." Todd shot me a smile.
"uh- no. that's not how this works. you guys stuck me with y/n in the first place." Larry rolled his eyes.
Sal raised an eyebrow at him, but said didn't argue. "If you say so," he shrugged.
Larry helped me climb out the window and onto the roof without breaking anything. Why did we think this was a good idea? No clue. Thankfully, we both made it up there safely.
We sat staring down at the sea of zombies for a moment.
"Damn, we got lucky, huh? Just barely made it in time," Larry joked.
"yeah." I breathed, mesmerized by the hoard moving and melting together like a waterfall. "you think we're safe in this... house?" I wasn't sure whether or not to call it a house, considering half of it had been burnt down.
"oh yeah, we're good, babe. they don't know how to unlock doors." he joked, nudging my arm.
I rolled my eyes. "I know THAT, smart-ass. but if they can find a way, they will."
"we're safe, I promise. and I will protect you if shit hits the fan." he announced heroically, puffing out his chest.
"wow. my knight in shining armor." I said sarcastically, laying down on my back.
I put my hands on my stomach, taking a deep breath of the cool night air- mixed with the stench of zombies, of course.
Larry layed back next to me. We sat watching the stars in silence for a few minutes.
"It's warm tonight," I commented idly. I raised an arm and lazily traced vague constellations.
"Yeah. You can see the stars so clearly now, without all that light pollution." I hummed in agreement, still waving my arm slightly.
While the night was warmer than it had been previously, it was still chilly. I moved until I was pressed against Larry's side, lowering my hand to intertwine it with his.
"this is my broken arm, don't try anything dipshit." I spat, hoping to annoy him a little. I loved it when he was annoyed, the way his brows furrowed and pursed his lips together never failed to amuse me.
"oh yeah, cause I'm going to drag you off the roof or some shit." he retorted with an eye roll.
"I wouldn't be surprised." I snickered, laying my head on his shoulder.
"so you think I would push you off the roof like you weren't just eye fucking me earlier?"
I prop myself up on my good arm to see him better. "I have so many questions. 1, what in the ever living fuck is 'eye fucking.' 2, if anything, you've been eye fucking ME."
"eye fucking is when you mentally fuck someone while looking at them." he said matter-of-factly. "also, yes I have."
I slapped his arm. "you're so gross, dude. get a life."
"you are my life." Larry shot me puppy dog eyes.
"uh, that doesn't even sound right." I scrunch my eyebrows together.
"you're the only reason I haven't gone insane this past few days, does that make sense?" he gripped my hand a little tighter, like he was afraid that if he let go I'd run away.
"you have a way of changing the mood." I smiled softly, laying back down.
I gazed up at the stars, wondering if in some other universe that we were looking at the stars too. no zombies, no hatred, just a pure relationship, untainted by the stress and anxiety of our current world.
"whenever we save the world," he dreamed, "I'm going to take you out on a real date, okay?"
I looked at him, tears stinging the back of my eyes. "there's no way to save us, Larry."
Larry's face turned serious as he turned to look at me. "You really think that? Do you not have any hope for the future?"
I blinked back my tears and tilted my head slightly away so he wouldn't see. "It just doesn't seem realistic. Most of the world is dead by now, you guys are the first people I've seen in ages."
Larry hummed, seemingly contemplating something.
"Well, I think we can do it. Plus, maybe we'll just have to repopulate the earth ourselves-" I cut him off quickly, slapping my free hand over his mouth. I could hear his muffled snickers as he brushed my hand away. "In all seriousness, though, I think it's possible."
This time, the silence was more stilted rather than the comfortable atmosphere that we were in earlier. The moans of the zombies became ever more present as I shivered. Due to the cold or fear of the future, I couldn't say.
Everything felt so uncertain, I barely even knew what my relationship with Larry was, let alone thinking about the future beyond the apocalypse!
"...I promise you, I *will* take you out on a real date some day."
Instead of voicing my many doubts, I simply breathed in. "Some day."
-
my feet slapped the pavement, half limping as I ran down the bloodied streets. chaos spread quickly, as if the world had fallen out from under my feet *again.* Larry ran beside me, sobbing.
"what's wrong?!" I panicked, I had never seen Larry cry so hard.
"sal, he's g-gone." his anger clearly present in his voice, as well as greif for his step brother and best friend.
"how?" I choked out through pants.
I felt a flash of grief, Sal was my friend, after all, but I pushed it away. We weren't safe. I could feel my feelings later, I had to get Larry safe, first.
I gently grapsed his shoulder, trying to direct him towards a safer area.
Nowhere seemed safe, though, with zombies and pandemonium seemingly everywhere. We weaved through the streets, somehow not getting caught yet.
"They got him- There, there were too many, I couldn't save him in time, I-" he cut himself off with another violent sob.
"larry!" I shouted, trying to get his attention. "we need to take care of ourselves first, for fucks sake!"
he violently shook his head. "I can't do this without him."
"Larry, what the fuck are you saying!?" I asked as he slowed his pace, glancing back at the group of zombies not far behind us.
"y/n-"
"Larry, no! what are you doing?" I choked on tears, gripping onto his arm.
he came to a complete stop, looking between me and the zombies which were even closer now. he calmly sat down, closing his eyes.
"Larry, get up!" I shouted, sobbing. "please, get up!" I yanked on his arm.
he ignored me, lost in his own mind.
"no, no, Larry, baby, please listen to me. it's not worth it, get up! we can honor sal, he wants us to keep going! please just get up!" I looked back at Todd, who was further down the road. he was hunched over, panting and looking at me confused.
a strong force shoved me back. I began to fall endlessly, my stomach falling out of my ass as I fell into darkness with only Larry getting torn limb from limb in my vision. I screamed and kicked, but nothing happened. everything was quiet except for the snapping and tearing. I pulled my knees up to my chest. I felt like an empty shell, falling into eternity.
I choked on a sob, struggling to breath. It all just felt so *wrong*, like Larry wasn't supposed to just give up like that.
There was nothing I could do, though, falling and falling into oblivion.
I felt something hit my shoulder, jolting my broken arm as-
I bolted upright, clutching my injured arm to my chest. I squeezed my eyes shut as tears streamed from them. I bit my lip until it felt like it might split, desperately trying quiet my erratic breathing.
I could feel the roughness of the roof below me- right, I was with Larry! The cold wind hit my face, made worse by the fact that my entire face felt wet with tears.
I tried to focus on those feelings, to get rid of the lingering touch of the void. I was slowly coming back to my senses, but everything still felt *wrong*. Like I was forgetting something. Like...
Larry! My eyes shot open as I snapped fully back to reality. I'm surprised I didn't get whiplash with how fast I turned my head to look at Larry.
He was sitting in front of me, hands up at his chest in a placating manner. "That's it, in one-two-three-four, out one-two-three-four..."
I vigorously waved my hand. "I'm fine, what the fuck." I muttered, putting my head in my bends.
"if you're fine, then why are you shaking?" he looked at me like I was fragile, and I *hated* that.
"I don't know, shut up."
"y/n, tell me what happened. please, I'm kind of worried." he pleaded.
"i- I don't even know. I do not want to talk about it." I huffed, carefully laying back down.
"why do you push me away?" he asked, a pained look on his face.
I whipped my head to look at him. "I do not push you away."
"yes, you do. I try to talk to you about things you seem bothered about and you just brush it off. why do you do that?"
he stumped me. "i-"
"say I don't know one more time and I swear to go-"
"I wasn't going to say I don't know." I sighed. "I just.. don't like being vulnerable. I don't want to get attached and then lose you."
"you're not going to lose me." he cooed.
"no, Larry. fuck, you don't understand. something bad could happen at any moment." I explained the best I could. it was the zombie apocalypse, after all.
he stayed silent.
I took a deep breath and turned to look up at the night sky. I hugged my knees to my chest and let my eyes drift shut.
"I just..." I started, before recollecting my thoughts. "Everything is so simple, yet so complicated. I wish that made sense, but it's just how it is."
I heard Larry shift to sit next to me, hesitantly leaning against my good arm.
"I hate not knowing exactly what to do at any given time, like I used to." I groaned. "God, you just *had* to make everything so complicated, huh?" I said lightheartedly. I was too tired to deal with more emotions.
Larry breathed out a soft laugh. "My bad, let me just-" he stretched out, laying half on top of me and pushing me to lay on the roof again. He yawned obnoxiously, grinning at me.
"Careful!" I drew out, giggling. "I'm injured, ya' know."
"Oh, I never would've guessed, when did that happen?" He hugged me tightly, careful to avoid my injuries.
"You're the literal worst," I deadpanned.
I ducked my head to hide my stupid grin in his hair. I made sure to mumble one last thing before falling back to sleep.
"Absolute dumbass."

What if the five tribes could have chosen to challenge right after Killmonger threw T off the cliff? Like if there was a member of the royal family challenging first, and they won, would the tribes be able to contest them as well?
-
"The border tribe does not challenge the new King!"
"The mining tribe... does not challenge the new king."
"The merchant tribe does not challenge!"
The River Tribe elder rose as his lip plate trembled. Across the rocks, Nakia dabbed her tears and glanced at him. But through her reddened eyes, he saw that she was still as keen as her blades.
He remembered his own words, "Ungubani!" without which most of this would not have happened.
"The River Tribe... WILL challenge the new King." He said with finality.
N'Jadaka didn't seem to know the River Tribe's champion at first. Until she stepped down into the water.
His smile was genuine. Genuinely amused, as he watched his new opponent still wiping away the tears that had sprung from the previous one's defeat. She was clearly too shaken up to even last a minute in combat... just a pretty girlfriend of the so called King- who thought she'd never get scratched in her life if she tried to.
"Aight... I like this. Couple goals, huh?" He taunted, feeling his victory boost his ego.
Nakia was silent as she allowed herself to be painted with a few white dots and stripes where necessary. They waited for a few minutes as the Talon Fighter brought her weapons down to the falls. N'Jadaka glowered at her all the while, and she didn't meet his eyes.
She didn't even look at him until she drew her weapon and tested its sharpness.
"The River Tribe challenges you. Do you accept it?" She spoke at last.
"Bring it, shawty..." He chuckled.
The priestess trembled as she stood between them. "Let the challenge... begin."
N’Jadaka swung into action and spun the blade to bait her to block to the left, planning to slice her arm as she stretched it. Instead, Nakia dodged, stepping towards the edge of the waterfall. She seemed too distracted to see where she was going.
Erik swung again, horizontally, this time. It was a hard blow to block, and too fast to dodge from that angle. But almost as if by accident, it got tangled in one of her rings, and a flash of pain shot up N’Jadaka’s arm as his flesh was cut by the inner rim. His arm went numb, but he kept his hold on his weapon and swiped at her with his spear to push her further near the edge. She fell for it and moved backwards
He lunged and forced her to block a blow from above with both her blades as he brought his foot up to kick her in the chest- but she swiveled on her heel, dodged the kick and pushed him backwards, making him lose his balance. Just before he could regain it, she ducked down and sent a blade slicing through the back of his left knee, making that part of his cargo pants bloom with red, hot blood. He tried to stay steady, and took an opening to maim her- only to suddenly find that they had switched positions in the process of him trying to balance, and he was at the edge. He didn’t have time to move in before he had to dodge her blades again.
And again. And again.
His heel rested at the last rock over which the water flowed horizontally, and the current was tugging at his weakened knee. He lunged to stab her with his sword, but she caught it in her ring again, proving that she did this on purpose. With an effortless turn of her wrist, the sword was out of her hand.
N’Jadaka was panting hard with blood loss. His locs fell over his eyes as he glared at the warrior. To his dismay, she seemed calmer now. She hadn’t even broken a sweat, from the look of it: she remained completely dry above her knees, albeit with some tears that stained her face.
“HYAHHH!” He yelled as he came at her yet again with his spear-
But she only stepped sideways and swiped at him with her blade again to send him back. He blocked that, but found that the broken spear was also wedged in the curve of the ring. With a yank, the stump splashed into the pool.
Now he stood at the edge, unarmed and bleeding. Nakia held her rings before her for a moment before flinging one at him like a disc. He didn’t see that coming, and froze as his head spun from the oxygen that he was losing. The blade cut through the air, and then through the skin on his chest, making a deep gash as it stuck there in his sternum. Now, he couldn’t breathe.
The whole world was a blur and the only thing he could see was her piercing gaze.
She strode forward like she was just getting her keys or something, before raising the other blade over his head. He didn’t dare move as he trembled slightly on his feet.
She lowered the blade around his head, almost like a collar: and pulled her first blade out of his chest. He gasped as blood gushed from the wound, and tried to staunch it, before he felt the inner rim of the blade gently cutting his neck.
N’Jadaka had no choice but to stumble forward as Nakia walked back from the edge, with one blade around his neck.
“This isn’t your King.” She spoke finally, after having stayed silent the entire time. She turned her gaze on W’Kabi. “This ... isn’t your King.” She repeated.

So due to recent events I’ve been in a weird mental limbo of like perpetually kinda-shifted-but-also-not??? Like I’m trying to keep any weirdness inside so I don’t freak people out, but I can’t stop it either. Basically I find myself standing off to the sides of crowds of people, gritting my teeth and smiling and trying to be a good normal person and not bark or growl at birds and dogs and people.
Anyway, as part of our ongoing vacation, we went to a state park with a bunch of waterfalls the other day. The views were beautiful, and the weather was a fantastic mix of breezy and off-and-on foggy. Think picturesque one moment and spooky the next. As far as my edgy goth ass is concerned: perfection.
But while my girlfriends/boyfriend were taking pictures and/or skipping rocks, my brain starting acting up again, so I took a step back and just looked around to try and take my mind off things. Across the river from us, up on some rocky cliffs, I could make out movement between the trees.
Now, rational ‘normal’ human brain knows that’s probably just another hiking trail. But dumb ‘weirdo’ (were)wolf brain is all ‘threat detected’. So of course now I’m in half-panic mode for no good goddamn reason. Fun.
I keep looking back and forth across the trails up there, trying to reassure myself it was perfectly normal to see people up there and to stop worrying. It kinda works, but there’s this one specific spot I can’t seem to shake from my mind. Maybe it’s because its more of an open clearing? But no, something tells me there is something there that I need to be aware of. As far as I can see by now, however, there’s noone even there anymore! Just grass and a fence and some trees.
I get shaken out of this stupor by one of my lovely partners, we move on, and I just about forget about this whole thing. Well, almost. In the back of my mind, I just had to know what had me fixated on that spot.
Eventually we wound our way around the trails, taking pictures and enjoying the sights, as you do. And then we wind up across the river and up on that trail in the cliffs you could see between the trees.
Then I saw it, and dear reader, I wish I was making this up.
It was a stick. A fucking stick. A foot-long thick stick of birchwood with frayed ends and a silhouette not unlike a toy chewable bone. Perfect size for a canid to sink their teeth into.
I got owned so hard by my own dumb dog brain. God fucking dammit.

Yotsuba Group x Reader Smut pt 1
hello people today we’re writing death note yotsuba group x reader smut because why not
SUGURU SHIMURA
i feel like he's the nervous type but he'll let his fantasies come alive if you give him the permission
my man is shy af at the start kissing and touching those are the kind of stuff he does very hesitantly because you know it's probably his first time and he's so scared that he'll screw it up
as you guys keep doing that he'll get hard easily because he probably doesn't get bitches like ever and simple stuff can turn him on easily like touching his abs, (not sure if he has because he looks skinny) pulling his hair while making out or rubbing your hips to his crotch
if you decide to give him a blowjob he'll again hesitate a lot like should he move your head the way he wants or let you take control? and when you say goddamn shawty do whatever you want he'll gently push your head and threw his head back as he enjoys every second of this experience with his dear
and when the main part comes he'll sweat like a fucking waterfall because it's actually happening he's probably losing his virginity to someone he loves so much so he slowly gets in your wet hole not gonna lie he moans quite loudly because its so fucking good how you take him so well and tight
he tries to go slow at first but then he loses his control a little and gets lost in pleasure he starts rocking you hard like the bed (or whatever you guys are fucking on)shakes and you're surprised because you didn't know he had that much strength the wet skin slapping, your moans and his fills the air and echoes in the room
as he gets close to his climax he fastens and hold you tight his moans getting louder the bed starts shaking even harder and he's hitting the best spot in you so you also cant hold it any longer
you undone quickly and he follows you
as you feel something hot shoot inside you
he looks at you exhausted and with love in his eyes he hugs you and starts kissing your face telling you how thankful he is and how beautiful you are while doing that he cant help but smile because it was one of the best moments of his life <3
ARAYOSHI HITORI
oki imagined that he wasn't married and you were his date
he acts like he's confident but when the actual moment comes he's literally dying inside
he would probably start flirting with you and tell you cheesy things but when you actually flirt back he's shook
so you start a hot making out session, sitting on his lap and moving your hips which eventually turns him on bark bark
so he lifts you up then throws you onto the bed and quickly starts undoing his shirt as you do the same you slowly get rid of your shirt and take your pants off then your undergarments tbh he's thrilled when he sees all of you and you can easily see his throbbing hard dick with pre cum on it
as you guys continue your session from where you guys left you can feel how bad he's aching to fuck you he starts touching everywhere of your body like there's no tomorrow
if you give him a blowjob he gets anxious at first but then easily lets go and moves your head easily he's literally melting and you can feel it
when the main thing comes he slowly pushes it in with a low grunt mixed with a moan
he goes slowly for a little then gets the pace he wanted as he lustfully kisses you like a hungry man that he is one hand hold your chest other holds your thighs
he cums quite fast thanks to the beautiful view under him he gets faster and faster then he shoots his seed inside your wet walls while he thrust a few times slowly making sure the cum is going inside well
as he collapses on you he holds hour hips and kisses your neck while you giggle
tells you how much he loves you and probably will make you a baby mama/papa soon<3
thanks for reading guys hope you like it also ignore the grammar mistakes lmao

You nervously hop from one foot to the other as you think about the time. Any minute now, you were supposed to be practicing with Ekko in the amphitheater. Except, you’re waiting to hear the ‘okay’ from your brother before you head over there. None of the others have woken up yet, so you know that it’ll be okay to vanish for a few hours. ‘Aahhh, Ekko needs to comm me now or I’m just gonna show up!’ You whine.
“Incoming. Sissy?” You hear Ekko’s voice and perk up.
“Received, Kiko!” You perk up.
“Uh, where are you? Are you still up for training? I can’t because of my leg, but I can coach you.” His tone is unsure as you facepalm. ‘I can’t believe I forgot that he’s injured. I guess I was a bit to eager to get back to normal.’ You chuckle to yourself.
“I’ll open a rift for you, so you can come through. We don’t have to train since you’re injured, but I’ll show you around.” You grin, “I think you’ll be impressed.”
“…Oh, Gods. Okay, send it my way.” You roll your eyes at his reluctance while a rift opens in front of you. You feel a pulse that informs you that someone entered the other side. A happy smile crosses your face as Ekko steps out of the rift. He also has a smile on his face and you fist bump.
“Welcome to my domain!” You throw your arms open wide dramatically. Ekko blinks before bursting into laughter at your gesture. You patiently wait for him to stop laughing. Hearing him laugh after the emotional days you’ve been having is extremely relieving. There was nothing more comforting than having your brother with you.
“Now that you’re not laughing, turn around, dummy.” You huff and flick his forehead. Ekko playfully scowls at you before rolling his eyes and turning around.
“Honestly, I’ve seen the place before- WAIT WE’RE INSIDE A TREE?!” Ekko shrieks in shock, whirling back around to look at you. You laugh and nod your head.
“This is the center of the hideout.” You walk outside with him, “Everything is built around the tree. I used my magic to grow the sapling and it changed its properties, evolve if you will, to fit the environment. That’s why it’s different from the one at the Grotto. I’m not quite sure what tree it is though.” You explain squinting your eyes a tad bit in thought.
“This place is so cool, sis! I love all of the bridges, ziplines, and floating platforms. Where are the homes? Are they in the tree too?” Ekko questions glancing around to try and spot what he’s looking for.
“No, I carved them into the cliff. If you look carefully, you can see the glint of the sunlight off of the windows.” You smile at him moving his attention to the towering cliff, “I can give you a tour of the place if you want?”
“I’d like that! But, um, only places I can get to easily with my leg.” He gives you a sheepish grin.
“That’s everywhere!” You giggle and head out with him. You show him the training grounds, medical area, forge, and other places you added. It was a lot of hard work that left you feeling exhausted, but it was all worth it in the end.
“It’s crazy that there’s clean water in the Undercity.” Ekko sighs as you gaze at the waterfall, “I thought all of it was toxic.”
“So did I.” You sigh, “It wasn’t until I tested it that I realized it was clean. I want to keep it that way, and maybe use it as a reference to detoxify the rest.”
“I can help with that.” Ekko smiles, “We can get others in on it too after the war.”
“Have you told the Firelights?” You tilt your head.
“No, not officially. I wanted to do that after I talked to you today.” Ekko turns to face you, “Are you… Are you staying with the Firelights?”
“Ah…” You rub the back of your neck in apprehension, “No. It’s safer if I leave, especially because I’m in the process of forming my own group. The Firelights are your people. I could never take that from you, Kiko. Besides, I can protect you better if I can advance on my own.” You nudge him.
“I had a feeling you might say that.” Ekko chuckles sadly, “We’ll… still do everything we normally do together, right?” He asks hesitantly.
“Of course!” You punch his shoulder, “Once you’re healed, we’ll get back to training together. And, you can be sure as hell that we’re still going to invent together.”
“That’s a relief.” Ekko exhales with a sigh, “I’m not ready to let that go. I… don’t think I ever will be. I really can’t think of a life without you in it… I-I’m sorry for making you think that I died.” He puts his head in his hands. You frown and put your hand on his shoulder.
“Ekko. It’s not your fault. Please, don’t blame yourself. We know that it comes with the territory.” You sigh, “…I‘ve got to be honest and say that I didn’t take it very well.” You say hesitantly. Ekko lifts his head up from his hands and gives you a sad look.
“I eradicated a whole squad of Enforcers. I was so outraged that they took you from me and nearly took Jinx too. I don’t really remember what happened all I could focus on was the anger I felt that I lost all forms of reason. When I finally came to there was nothing but blood and limbs everywhere. Only fragments of what was once a person, that was all that I could see. It was quite shocking, but I wouldn’t say that I didn’t feel satisfied by the scene around me.”
“…I-I don't really know what to say.” Ekko stutters, “I mean… I haven’t turned you away before for something like this. Do you think I would now?”
“No! No.” You rapidly shake your head, “I want to be transparent with you. I want you to be aware of the things I do. I don’t want you to be blindsided by anything.”
“I appreciate that, sis.” Ekko smiles at you, “But, unfortunately for you, you’re stuck with me no matter what you do.” He shoves you playfully. You laugh and shove him back. You gaze out at the waterfall in silence, watching as the leaves of the tree sway in the wind.
“Oh, Jinx and Sevika live here now.” You chuckle, “So, don’t be surprised if you see them around here.”
“Are you sure that’s a good decision? What if they try to kill each other?”
“They won’t. The worst they could do is annoy the hell out of each other. They’re… sort of starting to get along. I won’t say they are there yet more so tolerating, but I did  hear them agree on something for the first time last night.”
“If you can get them to be civil, then you really are made of magic.” Ekko jokes. You laugh together before he clears his throat.
“…What… happened with Vi?” Ekko asks nervously, “She wasn’t there last night.” A wave of grief and anger washes over you, causing you to grit your teeth.
“She chose that… piltie over her own sister.” You hiss, “After everything we’ve been through. After everything she’s been through! She doesn’t want to fight.” You glare at the railing. You couldn’t wrap your head around it. You couldn’t. How could she choose that… bitch over everyone?
“What?!” Ekko physically recoils like he’s been hit, “Vi chose that piltie over us?! Her people. Her family?! Fuck, I knew it. She’s lost her way... That makes her a traitor.” He says coldly. ‘A traitor, huh? I guess it does. She’s given up her culture. Her home. Her family… Me. It hurts to think about the betrayal. I don’t even want to accept it.’
“Yeah.” You chuckle darkly, “Yeah, it does.” Ekko grips your shoulder before pulling you into a hug. You close your eyes to keep the tears in. After a few seconds, you back up and give your brother a thankful smile, the hint of sadness still heavy in the air.
“I should get you back to the Firelights. They’ll be worried when they realize their precious leader is  gone.” You smirk. He scoffs and punches your shoulder.
“Shut up.” Ekko grumbles. You laugh and motion to the rift you opened.
“Come with me to say goodbye?” Ekko shuffles his feet, “You’ll be missed, you know.”
“I’ll come to let them know I’m leaving, but I’ll still visit.” You grin and walk through with him. It’s not long before you’re found by Heather and Zyn who enthusiastically greet you. Ekko has enough time to wave you off before you’re dragged away. You snort as Heather sits you down on her bed and fixes you with a stern stare.
“Explain yourself.” Heather says firmly.
“You nearly gave me a heart attack when I went looking for you, and you were gone.” Zyn says in exasperation.
“Especially after you were told to stay!” Heather scolds you and you groan.
“Okay, but sit down. I’m going to explain everything to you, not just why I left.” You relent. Your friends glance at each other before sitting down, patiently waiting for your explanation.
You explain everything to your two best friends in the Firelights. You talk about your childhood, meeting Vi and Powder, and how you grew up. You choke up as you talk about the heist in Piltover and what happened after it. They burst into tears with you when you got to the explosion so you took a short break before continuing with the bittersweet story. Then, it was to the point of no return. You brought up Umbra, how you had found them the day they got surrounded by Enforcers and showed off your magic. Your knives circled in the air, flying around you before returning to their sheaths. From there, you had to wait for them to calm down. You had laughed at Heather’s enthusiasm while Zyn nearly fainted. Telling the rest to them was easy after that. They accepted it in stride and asked dozens of questions.
“So, that’s how you nearly impaled me last night!” Heather accuses you. You laugh nervously and nod your head.
“Yeah, I think it has something to do with it.”
“Wait, you nearly stabbed her?!” Zyn gasps.
“Oh, I didn’t tell you, did I?” Heather blinks.
“Damn right you didn’t!” Zyn shouts, exasperated. A knock sounds at the door and Heather gets up to answer it. Scar’s face greets you as he explains that Ekko sent him. There was a meeting in the Hive and we were all being called down to attend. ‘This must be him telling everyone about the war… and my departure from the group.’
You all head down together as you answer more questions from them. When you get to the door, you realize that all of the team leaders were there. ‘This is definitely going to be about my declaration of war.’ You take a deep breath and walk in. You’re greeted politely as you walk around and position yourself next to your brother. He gives you an encouraging smile before clapping his hands.
“So, I have all of us gathered right now for a very important reason.” Ekko starts, “Some of you may already know after last night, but Zaun and Piltover will be going to war.” All of the team leaders start firing questions but Ekko raises his hand. They go quiet and he nods to you.
“This has been a plan in the making for some time. I announced during the Pitfall Day opening that steps have been taken to kick it off. You don’t have to participate but you’ve been preparing for this. Our fighters, healers, blacksmiths, mechanics, intelligence, and even our gardeners. All of you.” You stress to them.
“Hawk will be leaving the Firelights.” Ekko places his hand on your shoulder, “My sister is the reason that this is possible, and she has a bigger role to play in this. She’s become Zaun’s new leader… So she won’t be fighting as a part of our group, but she will still be welcomed. I want everyone in the amphitheater at sundown and ready for a briefing.  We start preparations now… Any objections?”
“Fuck Piltover!” Healer Jane shouts.
“Yeah, fuck Piltover!” Heather joins in. The others start to chime in and animatedly talk about how this war will change everything. Everyone expresses that they’re sad to see you go, but they’re happy for you. Healer Jane scolds you for disappearing but affectionately pats your head in silent praise and tells you to visit. Ekko pulls you aside and you stand there staring at each other.
“This is it, little brother.” You say with a grin.
“So it would seem, sis.” Ekko returns the grin and extends his hand, “For us. For the Firelights. For Zaun. For the Brackern.”
“Piltover will pay.” You grasp his hand tightly, “For all of it.”
“Take care of yourself out there.”
“You won’t lose me anytime soon.”
“Good… I love you, sissy.”
“I love you too, Kiko. Once my group is settled, I’ll open a rift in the gateway. Don’t get too excited by my absence, okay?” You tease him.
“Never.” Ekko grins.
After the meeting with the Firelights, you decided to go into the city. For a city that never sleeps, it was practically deserted this morning. At least to the untrained eye. Even though the shops were all locked up and houses seemed eerily quiet and abandoned, the people were working intensely behind the scenes. You slipped into a few shops to see their owners working away or asleep at their workstations. The citizens had celebrated harder than they have before, after getting the news that they would be going to war. It was heartwarming to see.
You were a witness to some visitors stepping out of the drop shoot just to see that everything was closed. Their shocked faces were a great source of amusement for you. There were signs indicating that none of the stores would be open until the evening due to a local holiday. Since Pitfall Day hadn’t been commemorated in over five years, visitors weren’t aware of this fact so it should be ongoing until the shops open up.
You’re leisurely walking down Main Street towards the direction of Singed’s hideout when you hear the pounding of metal boots. You pause and turn around to see a large group of Enforcers marching through the streets. You duck into an alleyway and hide in the shadows. You clench your hand into a tight fist to keep yourself from lunging forward.
“Where the fuck is everyone?!” One of them shouts out while looking around the area. You tilt your head and walk closer to them, counting in your head to soothe your bloody urge.
“Hey, there’s a sign here.” Another one says as they step close to one of the shops, “It says they’re opening this afternoon.”
“Oddly convenient after what happened last night.” The same one from before spits out.
“It's some kind of local holiday. Maybe Jinx just took the chance since everyone was distracted.” You grin maniacally and your clothes shift into one of your more revealing dresses of the brothel. ‘Thank you to the previous monsters who blooded my clothes. I wouldn’t have learned I could do this if I didn’t ruin them.’
“Hello there!” You giggle as you sashay over to the group of disgusting monsters. They snap their heads in your direction and you see the reflection of yourself in their visors.
“Halt!” One of them says firmly. You stop walking and pout dramatically while crossing your arms.
“Where are you coming from?” They say harshly while stepping forward. You grit your teeth and take a deep breath. ‘It would do us no good if a squad of enforcers were murdered down here. Not now.’
“Heading home after a long night of work.” You smile teasingly, “My customers are quite insatiable. Especially after last night. The holiday put everyone in a great mood.” You purr, fluttering your lashes.
“We don’t care about your… illicit activities. Where is Jinx?!”
“Sex work isn’t an illicit activity. It never has been. You Piltovens think you’re too high and mighty for simple pleasures.” You scowl and cross your arms.
“Where is Jinx?! I won’t repeat myself again!” You flinch and look around in fake panic.
“Don’t say her name!” You hiss, “You’ll get me killed! Jinx is a menace to the Undercity. Everyone hates her here. The last time anyone spotted her was yesterday making her way to the bridge. I want no part of this.” You glare and start to walk past them when one of them grabs your wrist. You freeze and desperately hold back a growl. The urge to lash out is overwhelming. ‘Control yourself. Control yourself.’
‘Breathe, Hexxit. Breathe. Don’t jeopardize your own plans, my child. Focus.’ Your eyes widen but you take a deep breath to steady yourself. Umbra’s voice comforts you and gives you the emotional space you need to hold yourself back.
“If you want some alone time, all you have to do is ask.” You wink at the one holding your wrist. Your other hand pats them on the shoulder. The monster practically throws your arm back at you.
“Leave!” They snarl and you don’t say anything as you saunter away. You turn a corner and glare hatefully in their direction. You twist your wrist and an explosion goes off.
‘Hexxit.’ Umbra scolds you.
‘Relax, Umbra. None of them got hurt. It was just a smoke bomb I borrowed from Jinx.’ You hum.
‘You’re going to send me to an early grave, child.’ She sighs. You giggle and continue your journey to Singed’s place. Jinx told you where it was and said that he wouldn’t know that Silco has been killed until tonight. The man rarely left his compound and preferred to have everything brought to him. Be it shipments of produce and paraphernalia to information he missed, he really was the neighbourhood shut in. His next shipment of things was supposed to be tonight, so you have to make your move now.
You raise an eyebrow at the open door but continue inside as you go invisible. The area was neat but messy in a way that shows someone uses the space. Chemicals were in various bottles and tubes and you furrow your brow at the giant creature in a tank. You frown as you follow the tubes around the room. ‘Shimmer.’ You hiss in disgust. ‘He’s the man responsible for our community downfall and despair. He doesn’t care about us. He only cares about his experiments. He’s too dangerous to be kept alive.’ You pause when you hear footsteps and turn to see the man Jinx described. You grit your teeth as your hand twitches. He walks past you and takes a seat at his desk without so much as a glance your way. You watch as he places unopened vials of shimmer on his desk and moves to another area.
You stare at the vials and they vanish. You smile darkly and approach the man as he turns back to his desk with a burner.
“What?” You hear him mumble. He moves items around frantically as he looks for the missing vials. You place your hand on his shoulder and he freezes.
“Hello, Singed.” You whisper. You feel his shoulder tense under your hand and smirk to yourself. You turn him around and force him farther into his chair. His eye zips around wildly like he’s looking for something.
“Who’s there?!” He demands, his eye still frantically looking around.
“Apologies.” You hum and let your invisibility fade away slowly becoming visible to the naked eye, “It’s nice to finally meet the man who created Shimmer.” You pat his cheek tauntingly. He recoils from your touch and gives you a searching look.
“Who are you?” He asks.
“Me? I’m Silco’s replacement!” You chirp and slowly start to circle him, “Unfortunately, there’s no use for you. I can’t have any loose ends. I hope you understand.”
“Silco’s replacement? You’re nothing but a child.” Singed scoffs.
“That says a lot about Silco, doesn’t it?” You giggle manically, “So, a little Jinx told me that you’re not actually a Zaunite. She told me all about your… goals and desires. You ruined our home. That makes you my enemy.” You focus your gaze on him and his eyes widen. You give him a toothy grin as you hold your hand out.
“I was simply doing what needed to be done. You wouldn’t understand the sacrifices that need to be made for progress.”
“Sacrifices for progress?” You tilt your head as blue fire flares to life around you, “That’s what you are, Singed. A sacrifice for progress. To make the Undercity a safer place and to get your disgusting drug out of our streets.” You laugh and clap your hands together.
“It’s been fun! I’m afraid these chemicals won’t react well to my fire, so I’ll be heading out.” You hum and head for the door, “You on the other hand won’t have a chance to escape. Isn’t magic wonderful?” Singed screams at you as you leave but you pay him no mind. You turn and watch as the fire builds before raising your hand. ‘This isn’t just for those who lost their loved ones to shimmer. This is for Jinx too.’
“…Boom.” You parrot your best friend. Not even a second later, you watch as the building explodes. The blue fire and smoke comforts you in your decision. A chain reaction of explosion goes off, confirming the reaction with the chemicals. ‘Goodbye, Singed.’ You glance at the vials of shimmer in your hand. ‘I need to get these to Renata.’
When you decide to rift back to the Rapids, you find yourself appearing behind everyone. Loud yelling is the first thing you hear and you realize that they’re arguing. Jinx and Sevika have matching glares on their faces but you can’t see the other girls. You slowly walk closer to them and make eye contact with Sevika who scowls and crosses her arms.
“All I’m saying is that it’s impossible for a tree to grow down here!” You hear Jin shout.
“It wouldn’t be impossible if the very air we breathe wasn’t toxic!” Jinx snarls, “I wonder who’s to blame for it? Oh, thats right it was YOUR people!”
“We apologized for that last night! What the hell do you want from us?!” Ves spits back.
“Apologize?” Sevika scoffs, “Your apology doesn’t fix anything. We don’t care about what you have to say. It’s what you do that matters and you’ve done a whole ton of fuck-all.”
“What do you expect us to do?! We don’t know anything about what’s going on down here! We came for our friend!” Nicki protests.
“Your friend? Oh that’s rich! You didn’t even know where she’s been the past six years! How can you call yourself her friend when she doesn’t even trust you enough to tell you her real name?” Jinx scoffs. The group falls silent as Sevika rolls her eyes. The silence stretches on for a while and you take the time to watch the water fall into the lake.
“Welcome back, Hexxit.” Sevika says respectfully, “How was your morning with your brother?” Shouts of surprise come from the other girls as Jinx grins at you. You blink at the startled group of girls as you approach them. You stand in the middle of Jinx and Sevika, leaning up against the railing while they gape at you.
“WHEN DID YOU GET HERE?!” Jin shrieks. You tilt your head and raise an eyebrow at her. The others nod their heads furiously in agreement with her words.
“We didn’t even hear you approach!” Lacie’s eyes go wide.
“A minute ago.” You shrug causally, “So, why were you guys arguing about the tree?”
“Because it shouldn’t be here!” Jin says in exasperation, “It should not be physically possible for a weeping willow tree to be anywhere in this area!”
“A weeping willow tree?” You frown, “Why wouldn’t it be here?”
“Weeping willows grow along the coast just north of Piltover. They need very specific conditions to grow, and they’ve never grown anywhere below the city before. People have tried but they all failed to grow, especially to this height!” Jin rambles, “It’s at least… what? A hundred feet tall?!”
“When Jin pointed out that it’s a weeping willow, we couldn’t figure out how it managed to grow down here. The roots are completely waterlogged so it should be absorbing too much water.” Ves sighs.
“Yeah, and when I tried to explain that to those two,” Jin motions to them, “they got angry and started saying shit about us being from Piltover.” You give Jinx and Sevika the side eye and they both shrug. Jinx signing to you that what they said sounded very derogatory and that’s why they reacted. You nod.
“You used your magic to grow this, right?” Chrissy finally speaks up. You nod your head.
“It was a sapling I took from a tree. When it was time, I used my magic to speed up its growth until it became what it is now. I knew it looked different from the tree I got it from, but I didn’t mind it.” You shrug.
“Are you going to gloss over the fact that your friends attacked us for no reason?!” Megan snarls. A stab of annoyance flits through you.
“No. I’m not, but you better fucking watch your tone with me, Megan. These friends of mine have been through more shit than you can dare to imagine.” You glare at her and she shrinks back, “I must have been a misunderstanding in communication, and I’m sorry for what they said.. but they’re right. You’re from Piltover so you don’t understand what we’ve been through and how we struggle.”
“Can’t they speak for themselves?” Megan huffs and crosses her arms. ‘Code. Leader takes responsibility for diplomatic issues.’ You can practically feel the anger rolling off of the two next to you.
“But you have magic! You grew a tree! How can you struggle with an ability like that?” Nicki furrows her brow. When you step forward, you feel Jinx grab your hand as Sevika’s grabs your shoulder. Both of their grips are tight and shows that you’re not the only one who needs restraint right now.
“How can I struggle with magic?” You hiss darkly, “I had to die in order to be given this gift. I didn’t always have it and it sure as hell doesn’t solve all of my problems.” A deep growl rumbles in your chest, until you feel Jinx rub the ice cream tattoo on your wrist. ‘Safe. Calm. I’m here.’ You take a deep breath.
“You’ve got us!” You hear Jinx chirp from behind you, “We’re going to bring Piltover’s stuck-up councilors to their knees!” She cackles. You smile at her before looking back at the group in front of you.
“You have a lot to learn. You said you were willing to help, but you have to realize that the divide between our cities is worse than you saw last night.” You say firmly.
“But-!” Lacie is cut off.
“-We’re sorry. You’re right, there’s a lot we don’t know. I can only tell so much from the archives, and that’s different than in person.” Chrissy says softly while glaring at her friends, “Speaking of that. You mentioned the war, but how are you going to do this?”
“I’m glad you asked.” You smile at her, “I’m creating my own group of fighters who will be the lead team. They’ll be vital to the success of my plans. I already have a group of girls who have stepped forward to be my main team. They helped me out greatly these past few years, and I trust them with my life.”
“We can help too.” Nicki steps forward as well, “We discussed it last night, and you would have people on the inside.”
“What would you do about your families?” Sevika asks casually, “I doubt you’d want them to die in a war.”
“As long as we get a warning, we can get them out of Piltover until it’s done.” Jin says confidently. Jinx and Sevika huff, making you smirk to yourself.
“Don’t worry.” You smile innocently, “They’ll find out what it means to be a Zaunite in time.” The girls exchange uneasy glances with each other. You glance at Jinx and Sevika and wink at them.
“Chrissy. You and the girls need to leave. They’re already searching for Jinx, so they’ll need you topside. If you’re missing, they might freak out even more. I’ll contact you when it’s time to come down again or I can even come get you.” You gesture towards a rift that’s opening. Chrissy rushes forward and gives you a tight hug. You blink and tentatively hug her back.
“I’m so happy you’re okay, Berry. I know you probably didn’t tell me everything, and that’s okay. I’m going to try my best to learn what you went through.” Chrissy whispers before letting you go with a smile.
“Come on girls!” Chrissy shouts before running into the rift. You smile fondly as she does. ‘Chrissy always believed in me. When no one wanted to try, she did. It’s amazing to hear that she still does.’
‘She’s a friend you must keep. My child, you should be honest with her, even if you tell no one else from her group. Do not lose her.’
‘After all of these years? I don’t think I could even if I tried. She’s always been persistent.’
“Excuse me?” A soft voice sounds from next to you. You turn and make eye contact with another girl. You narrow your eyes slightly at all of the whispering people watching you.
“Yes?” You say dully.
“Do you have a partner for the duet challenge?” She sits in the open seat by you.
“No.” You shift slightly uncomfortably, “I don’t.”
“I’ll be your partner then!” The girl chirps, “My name is Chrissy! What’s yours?” She extends her hand. You glance down at it and back at her. The grin on her face doesn’t waver as she stares at you.
“…Berry.” You say after some time. ‘She hasn’t retracted her hand yet.’ You huff and lightly shake her hand.
“It’s nice to meet you, Berry! So, what kind of dance is your favorite? I’m a huge fan of jazz!” Chrissy starts rambling and you roll your eyes. When you turn forward, you make eye contact with Professor Uley who raises an eyebrow at you. He motions to Chrissy as a small smile appears on his face. You give him an exasperated look.
“Help me.” You mouth to him. A mischievous look shines in his eyes.
“Berry!” Professor Uley calls, “It’s your turn!”
“Actually, Professor, I’m doing the routine with her.” Chrissy replies before you can escape.
“Excellent!” Professor Uley claps, “It’ll be a great experience for you both!”
“Traitor.” You quietly hiss at him as you pass. He only gives you a positive and assuring smile.

Fictober Day 4: “How would that even work?”
Critical Role, 650 words, Laerryn, Evandrin
"How would that even work?" Evandrin is perched on the very top of the waterfall, the vulnerable, squishy body outside of the hard shell of his as-yet-unpainted statue. He's dangling his bare feet over the edge so the spray hits the exposed skin where he's rolled his brocade trousers up over his knees.
Laerryn rolls onto her back, stretched out along the top of the wall beside him so she's staring up at the stars. "I have some ideas. It's basically the equivalent of building a road instead of teleporting."
"But how do you get the road to go where you want it to?" They'd snuck out of Patia's birthday dinner before the dessert course, because they're bad people, leaving Zerxus to handle Elias and Quay to handle the social niceties. Laerryn sketches a path across the sky with her finger. "You use existing infrastructure."
Evandrin shrugs out of his jacket and tosses it haphazardly over her. Swearing, she disentangles herself and folds it under her head like an expensive pillow.
"Avalir follows the Lei lines," he says, clearly working it through as he speaks. "But those don't... move."
"They do, technically," she says. "Just not enough that we notice. But they can be moved."
"What would that require?"
The dull red glow of Ruidus reflects against the spray of the waterfall. "Energy."
"Like a massive scale Disintegrate?" He sounds a bit too excited. "You're closer than you might think. We basically need to tear down the existing barriers that would prevent the road from being built."
"I feel like this metaphor is stretching, but it's helping me, so I'm not letting it die. Do you have access to that sort of energy?"
"Usually, no," she says. "But if the barriers we're breaking down are weaker..."
"So you need to find a way to weaken them."
"I don't.” She folds her hands behind her head, pleased, then immediately pulls them back out as she continues speaking. The universe does that all on its own."
"Oh," he says, after a minute. "Wow, you're going to wait eleven years?"
He’s always been smarter than most people give him credit for. "Fuck you, I have patience."
"That's categorically untrue."
She huffs in irritation. "I can have patience when the reward is worth it." "And that's more than I ever wanted to know about your sex life.” She arches an eyebrow and, even unable to see it, he swats at her shoulder. "Listen, it's not my fault your reporter is very pretty."
Laerryn smirks smugly up at the sky. "He is, isn't he?"
"This is off topic. The solstice."
"Right. I think if I can collect enough energy in the etheric net by then, I can build something that will break through and drag a lei line along with it."
"Hmm," he says. "So it's one of those projects."
"I mean, it'd have to be. Technically it’s not illegal, but that’s only because nobody thinks as big as I do."
"They’d invent a new law just for you," he says. And then, with false cheer, "At least you might live to see the older generation and their ideas die out for good."
She presses her lips together. She’s lived over a hundred years without Evandrin and hadn’t understood what she was missing. "Who says we’re gonna wait? They'll either move or they won't."
He laughs, choked and too loud. "Do not say that sort of thing in public, I have a reputation and also a child. What would your reporter say if you got us executed for treason?"
"They wouldn’t kill me, for one thing," she says, shrugging her shoulders against the rough stone. "I’m too valuable. But to answer your question he’d probably have a heart attack. The optics of our treason are gonna need to be good."
"Please do not," he says. "I’m serious."
"Me too."
"I’m aware."
"The only six people in this city who actually work," she sings, feeling a little bit like nothing's real, like the night and the water and the two of them exist in one single moment, disconnected from the mundanity of their lives.
"Seven," he says, automatically. "But Laerryn-- Elias has to be an adult. That’s fifteen years. Tell me you understand that."
She stretches her arms back over her head so she can pat in the general direction of his leg. "Ok."
He exhales through his nose, and covers her hand with his. "Let's stick with the roadworks project first. It isn't like I'm going to drop dead in the next eleven years. We have time."

Power Armor Punch Part Seventeen
Masterlist
Nick: They did something to you, didn't they? And now you're worried about the consequences... *gently rubs her back*
Jasmine: (Starting to cry again her rivers of tears as she still clutches herself tightly. The flash backs aren't pleasant… but what is in this situation?)
Nick: We need to run a test-
Jasmine: (Quickly shakes her head, her fingers going for the stitches through the gown again)
Nick: *takes her hand again* Jas... if you go through with it, it'll help resolve this entirely.
Jasmine: (Shakes her head again. Fuck no. She has had enough tests and shit for her entire life)
Nick: *sighs and caves, tired of fighting her on every turn* Alright then...
Jasmine: (Looks down, putting a hand over her mouth while squeezing her eyes shut. It wasn't that long ago… The memories are still fresh… She really should do the test, she knows that… Especially after knowing all this new information)
Nick: *looks really concerned but has gone completely silent*
Jasmine: (Takes her hand off her mouth after a few moments when she was sure she wasn't going to scream, putting it back around her stomach tightly)
Dogmeat: *nuzzles her hands comfortingly*
Jasmine: (Nods kindly at the pup under her waterfalls of tears)
Dogmeat: *licks her face*
Nick: *not sure if he CAN convince her to take the test*
Jasmine: (Would laugh at his cute puppy self, but she cant so she takes one hand and strokes him gently, placing a kiss on his head)
Dogmeat: *sad whine*
Nick: *crunching the numbers... firmly* You need to take that test...
Jasmine: (Turns back at him, tilting her head) (Yeah, she knows…. but she still doesn't want to…)
Curie: *walks in* How are we doing, Madame?
Nick: Curie, I don't suppose you could do a blood based venereal disease and pregnancy test on Jas?
Curie: Oh- oh! Of course... it would only take a moment, too... *goes and grabs a syringe to pull blood from the IV line* Please hold her still.
Nick: *already wrapping his arms around the girl tightly to keep her restrained*
Curie: *takes the IV and quickly draws blood from Jas*
Jasmine: (Shrieks, tossing slightly in Nicks arms as even more tears go down her cheeks. She doesn't really mean to do it, its just a reflex she developed. Well, Nick wasn't kidding when he said she needed to take it, but she didn't have to like it)
Curie: *smiles holding up the syringe out of reach from the teen* All done! Now I will run this to the lab! It might be a couple of days before conclusive results are available.
Nick: That's fine.
Curie *quickly leaves*
Nick: *starts to shush Jas, rubbing her shoulder* See? That's all there was to it... just a little blood loss, that's all.
Jasmine: (Sobbing harshly now, wrapping her arms back around her stomach tightly. What the hell were they also testing for? She should have just ripped out the IV)
Nick: The other tests are simply to check for disease. It's a precaution-
Jasmine: (Keeps sobbing but she slightly looks up at him while keeping her hands over her stomach)
Nick: Neither I nor Curie would intentionally hurt you, Jas. It needed to be done.
Jasmine: (Cries out, looking down at herself as she squeezes her stitches area. She knows that deep down… Even if she STILL didn't like it and was sobbing over it…)
Nick: *almost pained* ...Sorry.
Jasmine: (Glances back at Nick with her wide, red teary eyes. She wants to hold onto him for comfort, but is unsure if she should right now…)
Nick: I don't mind if you hold onto me, kiddo... *keeping as neutral an expression as he can. All her crying is really starting to eat at him*
Jasmine: (Tilts her teary head and starts signing, her hands shaking where its hard to move) “You sure?” (Was she not being clingy enough today? Did it not bother him?)
Nick: *nods despite still holding her as a means to protect Curie*
Jasmine: (Blinks a few times, wrapping her arms around him and hiding her face in his coat. She almost instantly starts to calm down, her loud sobs becoming more quiet and even)
Nick: *heavy tired sigh... he pats her back as he looks off into space* There we are...
Lucille: *still drafting up plans for her candy shop*
Jasmine: (Sniffs on some of her tears, listening again to his inner machinery. Its become comforting like listening to a human heartbeat to her)
Dogmeat: *draping himself over the girl's lap*
Nick: *his machinery sounds rough, like it needs maintenence...*
Jasmine: (Sighs, wondering to herself what Curie is going to find… Whatever bit of hope in her hopes that she is not pregnant…)
Nick: *wonders and hopes that, too... the last thing Jas needs is a child right now. He feels as worn down as he looks*
Jasmine: (Weakly and quietly because of all her crying) “love you…” (Slightly hugging him tighter and shuffling closer)
Nick: *quietly* Love you, too, Jas...
Jasmine: (Smiles weakly, hiding her face back in his coat. She cant explain why snuggling so close makes her feel so comforted and safe when being near people usually does the exact opposite)
Nick: *He feels less like a machine, worn from physical and mental exertion, having someone this close to him. He reminds himself that as much as he passes for human, he's still a robot*
Jasmine: (Hums a quick, cute happy note in content as she cuddles her Dad, her tears dripping very slowly now. How many long nights did she spend in that miserable cell room longing for someone to hold and comfort her?)
Nick: *a faint smile creeps up to his face*
Jasmine: (Shuffles to look at Dogmeat resting on her lap. She moves one hand to pet his puppy head, booping his nose)
Dogmeat: *playful woof*
Nick: *Pets the pooch* I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one glad to see you happy- *suddenly hit with a flash of one of the Old Nick's memories. One where Jenny and him are discussing plans about their future together. A nice apartment or house down town. Two or three bedrooms, one a possible nursery and later a bedroom for their kid, the other an office and one of course for the parents. The very talk of becoming parents and adopting a dog- Nick's preferred breed a German shepherd While Jen's a corgi or other small but sturdy breed. All circling down to what their kids would be like...*
Jasmine: (Looks up at him with concern at his pause, tilting her still teary head with worry)
Nick: *blinks back into reality and catches her gaze* I'm fine. Just an old memory. *musters a soft half smile down at her despite the slight grief he feels for a cut short life*
Jasmine: (Her eyes search him for a moment before she rested her head back on his chest. She hums a cute happy note again, not really caring right now that she swore to break that habit)
Nick: *relieved to hear such a happy note from her* You're a good kid... You've had it rough, but deep down, you're still a sweet caring girl.
Jasmine: (Frowns, hiding her face away so he doesn't see. No, she is not a good person. She wished she walked away from that Vault an innocent victim…. But she didn't. She had walked away exactly what they wanted her to be)
Nick: *doesn't know what she's done, just sees a girl that needs help*
Jasmine: (Turns her attention away from those thoughts, otherwise she might have another meltdown. One of her hands reaches for Nicks, squeezing it gently as she bites back a whimper)
Nick: *wraps his hand around hers* Sorry...
Jasmine: (Lifts up her head then tilts it in question)
Nick: Being too kind- or rather, whatever I said that brought up bad memories. I'm sorry.
Jasmine: (Blinks a few times, squeezing his hand lightly. It was sweets words of comfort, she just didn't believe them…)
Nick: *looks worried... and tired. His system doesn't seem to be operating that efficiently at the moment and it's showing on his face*
Jasmine: (Her face bursts into worry, sensing that something is way off with him. She tugs on Nicks arm to get his attention) (Signing) “You okay?” (Stupid question she knew because it was obvious he wasn't, but what else could she ask right now?)
Nick: *takes a moment to respond* Not... necessarily... My system seems to be pretty worn out. I'm probably going to need some hefty maintenance. *wry chuckle but even that seems a bit drawn out with exhaustion*
Lucille: *starting to construct the store in an abandoned tunnel*
Jasmine: (Continues to stare at him with worry) (Signing, her hands shaking) “You should do it now, we cannot both be broken…”
Nick: *sighs* You're right. Problem is, I can't leave you alone unless you're restrained. You might do something rash... I'm trying to avoid that for your mental well being.
Jasmine: (Frowns, resting her head on his shoulder. Yeah he was right, she would try do something unless she was restrained. But she could tell Nick really needed a tune up…)
Nick: I should be fine. I've been through worse patches...
Jasmine: (Sighs. Nick is the adult here so she not gonna argue so much, just voice her concern) (Signing) “If you think so….”
Nick: Perhaps when Curie comes back I'll have her send for Lucille. That way I won't have to go anywhere. *exhausted reassuring smile back at her*
Jasmine: (Mouths) “Okay.” (Puts both her arms around his neck and cuddles closer. If things somehow get bad, she plans on sending Dogmeat to get Lucille. He is a smarty pants puppy, he could figure it out. Otherwise all they could do was keep waiting)
Nick: *resting his chin on her head* Love you, kiddo...
Jasmine: (Hums a sweet note in response, smiling softly at the warm safe feeling enwrapping her again. It always catches her off guard, this feeling…. So familiar yet still feels wildly impossible. She somewhat wonders how Nick feels about this, and if he really knows how happy this makes her feel)
Nick: *decides to run a quick system diagnostic... the sluggishness of his response time is starting to worry him*
Jasmine: (Stays still, thinking to herself about various things, the biggest one being why she is even here in the first place. What if Curie found something really bad? And not just if she pregnant….)
Nick: *what he finds doesn't look good. Looks like his engine needs a good overhaul... or a replacement. It's wearing out*
Jasmine: (Still swirling deep in her thoughts. She hasn't move at all as she keeps clinging onto Nick)
Nick: *wonders if he should let his engine just burn out and let it end there... but who would watch out for Jas? Who would run the agency? Would he actually die if his motor just stopped working? Does that depend on the hardware between his ears? What counts as "death" for him?*
Jasmine: (Hums sweetly again, hiding her face in the collar of his coat. She decide against to keep going so deep in her thoughts for now.)
Nick: *wouldn't really mind if Lucille or someone booted him back up... but if this is the beginning of the long walk for him, then it's been a long time coming*
Jasmine: (Blinks a few times, almost enjoying the temporary peacefulness. But one of the things she learned the hard way, is that it never lasts…. She hugs Nick a little tighter. Goddammit, what did she just tell herself NOT to do? Can she not be granted a scrap of calmness especially in this situation?)
Nick: *blinks at the rather death grip of a hug* Jas...? Don't worry, I'm still with ya. *"For now" he thinks*
Jasmine: (Nods against his shoulder, sniffing on some new tears as she loosens her grip. She wishes things could have been different… If only she wasn't so broken and weak...)
Nick: Hey, chin up. I'm not that easy to kill. Still got enough in me to make something count, alright?
Jasmine: (Hums again, lifting her head to look at his face with her childlike eyes that are lined with tears)
Nick: *tired reassuring smile*
Jasmine: (Leans up and kisses his cheek, something that she would do when her mother would look at her with a tired smile. She then puts her head back on his shoulder, snuggling in his coat)
Nick: *"No... I think I want to stay online for a bit longer. Not ready to go just yet." He hugs her back* I'm not going anywhere...
Jasmine: (Smiles a small genuine smile up at him. Maybe, just maybe she doesn't really want to go yet either…)
Nick: *tired but small elated smile... his eyes look a little brighter than before despite the power issues*
Jasmine: (Hums in content, noticing the small change in his eyes. She was told that she could never/deserved to be loved and cared again over and over for years. Well, Nick really proved them wrong, maybe she did too)
Nick: *just happy to see such a genuine smile on her face*
Jasmine: (Gently hugs him tighter)
Nick: *softly reassures her, cradling the girl in his arms* I'm still here, doll...
Jasmine: (Closes her eyes, taking in a slow steady breath. She hopes with everything that this safe feeling stays somewhat within her…. She likes it…)

❛ in my dreams, we’re still together. ❜ and/or ❛ you’re the one good thing left in this world. ❜ for mathilda
I kinda bothered orion into sendimg me a prompt
Thank you!
Im also very nervous to post ship fics. I havent written them in a long time.
Here we go!
Mathilda×Deidara
Post Deidara death because all I know how to write is angst.
In my dreams, we're still together.
Sometimes I wake up with you wrapped loosely around me, or I you.
Sometimes our legs weave together, because we were perfect like that. Sometimes you're sitting up in bed and looking over your shoulder at me.
However, you never look at me, and I'm so scared every time, a piece of you will just disappear. Your face is either covered by your hair, your face is covered by your arm, something in the distance has your attention. Regardless, I can never get you to look at me. I stroke your long curtain of blonde hair and try to push it away, but more yellow just waterfalls back into place.
They say dreams have meaning that correlate to our waking life. Maybe this is my subconscious telling me I'm not ready to face the truth. Maybe the day I see your face is the day I let you go.
Some nights the need to see your face is hardly there, so long as I have you, I couldn't care less. I'll stroke a single finger between the scarred curves of your back, feel you shiver under my touch as you always did when I woke you up like that. Wait for you to turn around, grab my hand and kiss it. But in my dreams you grab my hand without turning and pull my arm around you, kissing it while your back is turned to me.
Baby are you there too? Is it you?
Sometimes I have to believe that it's actually you, because the warm wet tears that drop on my hand when you hold my hand like that will only tear me apart further if it's not you.
If it's you I understand why you wake the dream when I force you to turn around. I force you to look at me sometimes and you yell for me to stop and then it all ends. I wake up in cold sheets, hand outstretched, legs searching, chest empty and heavy. You're not there.
The next night you're there again. You always forgive me. You were like that in life as well. You always forgave me. Maybe not for everyone, but for me.
So when I told your back last night how sorry I was, and you told me to stop, its hard for me to believe these are all just dreams. But I did this. I caused us this pain. I tore your face from mine. You spoke to me, it was the first you ever spoke directly to me and I couldn't believe how wrong you were.
But that was us right?
You were always so wrong, and I was right.
Last night I clung to your back, my fingers dug in your shoulders, I pressed my forehead to the nape of your neck. Cinders, earth, and smoke is what you always smelt like, a smell that at first turned me away, it smelt like home and the ruin it now was. But then you became home. I told you this, and I told you how much I missed the smell because at that moment I smelled nothing. And I said sorry.
Sorry I didn't save you.
Sorry I wasn't enough.
Sorry that I didn't love you enough.
Sorry I couldn't save you.
Sorry I couldn't change you.
I'm sorry.
Your smooth rough night voice cut through the cold air and you simply said, "stop." This time it was so different from the rest, it was so… you. You never liked trouble, strong emotions that got in the way were a hassle. How we ever grew to be more was a fucking miracle.
But you went on.
You turned to me, hair covering your face, pointy pale nose poking out of the mess. I couldn't see them, but your bright blue eyes bore into mine, I knew they were. And you said, "stop."
You moved in closer, nuzzled your face into my neck and kissed my throat. "You're the one good thing left in this world." Your teeth scraped across my skin as you spoke and created small goose bumps where you kissed. "You're one last virtue to this world." Your hands, rough, calloused, but almost real, snaked up my spine into my hair and tugged gently backwards for you to kiss my chin, but you don't, instead you say, "I'm sorry."
And I wake up with my face embedded in the cold pillow, my hands clutching at the blankets for more warmth. I have half a mind to set the whole room ablaze, but I feel your hand on my shoulder and you say "stop."
Someday I'll stop.
Someday I'll stop gasping when I wake up. Someday I'll stop trying to hold my breath when I feel nothing but the cold next to me and it has a tighter hold of my lungs than when your arms wrapped around my body and you kissed me till we were hot. Someday I'll stop searching for your face. Someday I'll be okay.
But tonight, I won't stop wanting.

Hello, welcome to my journey into VGC. I’ve played Pokémon games my whole life and have dabbled in VGC since ORAS. But I’ve always sucked, and I’ve always been reluctant to change whatever team I first make at the start of a new generation. Since the meta is always evolving, especially when a fresh batch of Pokémon is added into the mix, I feel left in the dust as others blaze past. I want to try to work on that this generation, and one of the ways that I think will be helpful for not railroading myself is by creating a little post in memorium of the team I was using and what I learned from it.
I made this team on the nexus showdown server, which is running games with the leaked national dex to allow players to get used to terastalization. The inspiration was to try to find a role for Masquerain in this format, since I’ve missed it more than I thought I would in the three years since it was in a mainline game.
The concept for the team is pretty simple, Masquerain’s access to aqua jet and a low attack stat allow it to reliably proc Coalossal’s weakness policy and steam engine, and with 108 speed you outspeed threats like Scarf Garchomp or Gyarados after your steam engine boost. Tera Rock type allows you to hit flying and fire types like Pelipper, Gyarados, Talonflame, and Volcarona hard with rockslide or the cool new Tera blast. The Coalossal is also a mixed attacker, and I’ve found that even with a modest nature it can pick up a lot of KOs thanks to weakness policy. However, it is extremely dependent on its weakness policy to deal damage.
Some fun stuff I’ve done with it include having Tera blast do physical damage instead of special damage when a Thundurus used eerie impulse on it, surviving a LO Buizel’s waterfall and koing it’s partner pelliper, and only hitting one rockslide over 7 turns because I got paralyzed, flinched, and missed (Don’t worry though, the next game I won the game off of a crit, what goes around comes around.)
Masquerain also dishes out decent damage when it needs to with infestation and scald, and its role of intimidating threats cannot be understated because there’s no way Coalossal is surviving a super effective hit without attack reductions.
I struggled a lot with the rest of the team, trying out every weather setter, trick room, and even Contrary Lurantis to counter intimidate and electroweb spam. Unfortunately Tsareena is just better at the role Lurantis was filling and deals with dragon and water types quite well with its scarf. Torkoal feels like the weakest link, as it occupies the same niche as coalossal, but it’s useful for clearing rain from the field to make sure Coalossal doesn’t lose its speed advantage. It also helps out in TR, which most of the roster despises being in.
Raichu and Gyarados perform well in most situations and help to glue the team together quite nicely.
As far as strategy goes, I usually don’t lead with both Masquerain and Coalossal. While Coalossal can absolutely KO anything with a rock or fire weakness, it still struggles while dealing neutral damage, and threats like Garchomp are common leads. The supporting cast whittles down threats or outright KOs them with the offensive power Tsareena and Gyarados bring, and Coalossal comes in to finish the job.
And lastly, some things that I’ve learned with this team: Psychic terrain doesn’t prevent you from using priority moves on your allies. Talonflame will rarely attack it’s first turn, you don’t need to fake it out if you aren’t worried about its partner. And dragon dance is a great setup move, even in double battles.
As I said this team went through a lot of iterations, so I don’t really know my winrate with it. But I managed to climb from 1000 to 1200 in about an hour of playing with the “finalized” version. I think some tweaks can be made, like the fact that I’m just now seeing Masquerain has 31 attack ivs instead of 0 or the team’s weakness to special sweepers like Indeedee or Sylveon. But I want to try other things and continue to experiment, not just ram my head against the wall with only this team until SV release. I wanna try using Altaria, and Jumpluff, and Tropius, and give Lurantis another shot. So long until my next update.

🍓Elements of the Meadow🍓
🍓 The main body of the meadow is, well, the meadow. The grassy hills that expand farther than the eye can see. There are no trees on the meadow. I really can't find one that looks the way it's supposed to in any images anywhere, but it's just the same green grass for miles and miles. There are patches of strawberries that grow here and there in no particular order, and around a selection of land around the large tree that serves as Aku's home is a white picket fence. Aku didn't build it by hand, it was there when she woke up. She hasn't traveled beyond the fence, and she doesn't know what's past it, other than the meadow that continues to stretch.
🍓 The meadow has tons of deep crags in it. They all go down into a connected expanse of tunnels, but the logistics of them do not make sense in any logical way. They're almost like mini portals into a new world, and each of these have their own areas which contain their own elements.
An area full of crystals. Pretty much everything here glows in the dark, as if it produces its own light. The crystals are no different. They will make melodic tones when you tap them and can be used to make music. If something dies within reach of the crystals, they will grow over it. Therefore, the small cults that form around Aku have on occasion placed remains of Akusheep victims in the crystal caves to create shrines in her honor.
An area full of mushrooms. The mushrooms can be eaten and cooked. They do not thrive on decomposition but rather crop up on their own over time.
An area with glowing sand. It feels very much like a midnight desert. It is very cold and the walls are so far away in this room that it's hard to remember one is underground. It's easy to get lost in the desert without having Aku as a guide.
An area full of tree roots. The roots pulsate. They are not underneath the tree that serves as Aku's house on the surface. They don't appear to be attached to any living plant and almost seem to have a life of their own. They move around sometimes, but they don't appear to have much of any sentience and don't attack people.
An area full of very large stone columns. They don't seem to serve a purpose aside from just being a source of light. This area is also very large and mazelike.
A stretch of very tight, claustrophobic passages. They branch off of each other several times and some of them lead to dead ends. It is an area that Aku tends to avoid if at all possible.
🍓 The tree that Aku makes her home is the only one attached to the ground. Every other tree is suspended in the air with it's roots splayed out among the sky. The tree that serves as her home is much wider than any other and it's hollow all the way up despite appearing to be alive. It accommodates all of the space Aku needs to live.
🍓 There is a cliff on one side of Aku's meadow. The fence stops a few paces before the edge and there doesn't appear to be any ground past the meadow. There's a chunk of land off of this cliff that houses a floating tree that sports pink blossoms and is the only one of its kind in Aku's meadow, as far as she knows. There's also a lake on this chunk of land that creates a small creek that dumps water off of the land in a thin waterfall. It never empties the lake and the waterfall never stops, despite the fact that it does not rain in the meadow.
🍓 Aku explores her meadow when there aren't guests around and will occasionally discover something new. She's also creating the meadow to be bigger and bigger as she meets people and hears stories of her life, but those parts are outside of the fence and she's completely unaware she'd doing it. There's a house somewhere out in her meadow beyond where one can see. It doesn't look quite right, however, since she's never seen a house in person.

I feel more nervous about money than i do about paragliding
Mierenneuker - ant fucker: someone too focused on small insignificant details
Mela pela - no fucks given

“She’s more the heart and im more the brain”
“People are like shooting stars while traveling, they shine brightly past you and then they’re gone”
“I dont think I’d be able to make sense of the things that i see and experience without writing and shooting”
“PLEASE someone put a banana in me…
- on the topic of fried plantains
“I think its quite cute. I find myself cute”
“Turns out you actually have to search for the people you like”
“Dumb and dumber but we’re just taking turns swapping who’s who
I hope i dont get used to it all
None of the best times of my life have ever come without doubts and regrets. The hindsight is always positive on those memories while the future is still bright
“Yeah some people are definitely profiting off of second wave feminism”
“Like trans men”
“French men?”
“TRANS MEN. But probably Frenchmen too”
Anyone with a head on their shoulders and a heart in their chest will agree that meeting someone on the same wavelength as you is a feeling that is very hard to beat.
Today consisted of finding a bus that wasn’t on google, crossing a border with no idea what legality was require, subsequently received no stamp in my passport which I suspect will eventually be a problem, no actual currency for the new country, no sim card and no idea how to find a place to stay, eventually borrowing some lads phone to maps myself to a hostel, walking there from memory, got circled and nearly attacked by dogs on a back alley dirt road then arriving at the hostel to discover some friends from Guat here.
And now, tomorrow I am apparently riding on the back of a motorbike with a british girl who’s never ridden a motorbike before and also never driven on the wrong side of the road before going to hike up a waterfall.
Another day in the fuckin life hey
How do you go back to reality after charming taco stands at 1am on a Tuesday with strangers, hammocks on a remote beach and surfing till your shorts tear, strange small towns on the way to somewhere else and big fuckoff cities full of class and grandeur, a volcano erupting during a lightning storm, people you share years of experience with but have known for a week and fighting off dogs to get to the home you’ve never been and everything else that happens in a day away from what you thought you knew.
“My bank wouldn’t give me a new card so I joined the cartel”
“Jacque really taught me that wisdom is knowing when to break the rules”
“Just dootdododootdoing my way down the continent!”
“Thank Something” - when ur not sure what god looks like
You just learn things you didn’t know you had to learn
Things you didn’t know you needed to know
My vans be lookin a lil worse for wear these days but i know they smilin.
And so am i.
We seen some shit together.
“Oh i love Tim! He made me smoke human ashes!
It was his best mate and we smoked him”
“You speak dutch?”
“Sweetie im from belgium”
“Why dont you speak waffle then”
If you know three languages its because you have to swear in a lot of them
“Yeah whenever i feel shit while traveling i just call home and that reminds me how good I’ve got it. It feels very weird to feel shit about nothing but thats sometimes good to remind yourself of it”
“If you cut me open and took a pint of my blood, id probably still drink it because it’s a pint”
“I need to move out here! Everyone just vibin!”
“Do you reckon it ever packs out?”
“Maybe on weekends?”
“It’s Saturday…”
“I find you a bit annoying”
“Thats ok. I really dont give a fuck”
“I want sticky pants” - on chasing surf
“The coke can of the energy levels has been open a lil too long”
Whats the difference between god and a surgeon?
