Soap and Ghost definitely mock each other. Ghost saying, Soap is a Leprechaun. Soap just says, "Go brush your teeth." in the most British accent.

They are rivals. Both have the same goal.

The mockery is just a "play fight" since they know each other.

With König tho. When he joins the fight over your attention, all hell breaks loose.

He's tall and intimidating, and they don't know him.

Those two stop arguing so fast.

Now, they have a common enemy.

To be honest, any two of them would gladly team up to ruin the third ones attempt to get your attention.

Ghost and Soap would threaten König when they see him eyeing you.

It's not the "Don't touch him, he's mine!" kind of threat. It's the "I will haunt you and everyone you ever cared about down." kind of threat.

It progressed from mocking each other, embarrassing each other, pulling each other away from you to blood on their fists and faces.

They fought like damn animals.

Soap had his face obviously bruised.

Ghost had his balaclava slightly torn.

König broke some of his gear.

They were trying to rip each other to shreds.

All just to get your attention.

Not even Price could've stopped the fight.

They just tired each other out so much they passed out.

Their way of fighting lacked any morals.

Trying to poke each other's eyes out.

Breaking a couple of ribs along the way.

Price was not in the room when they passed out. There were just a couple of new recruits.

All of them didn't dare to get close to them when they saw how brutal they were.

When they got up, they were at each other's throats once again.

Not caring about the injuries they had.

The room cleared, with no one wanting to get caught up in the fight.

Soap was about to throw a punch at König but stopped.

Ghost took that chance, punching him to the ground.

He soon realized why Soap hesitated.

You ran up to the hurdle of tired soldiers.

They all loosened up, releasing anyone from their grip.

"Holy shit, ya'll fucked each other up!" You exclaimed.

Ghost's eyes filled with embarrassment. You could swear he was blushing under that mask.

Soap smiled at you awkwardly, hoping that you didn't lose interest in him because of his brutality.

Königs eyes softened. He felt so relaxed when you talked to them.

You bent down next to them, examining their wounds.

Soap and Ghost were just waiting for you to look at them with disgust. Meanwhile, König was admiring you.

"BUHAHAHA" You laughed at them. "What kind of disagreement made you fight like this?" You wondered giggling.

If only you knew.

The three of them looked behind you, seeing another dude look at you with a smirk.

There, it was decided.

They were gonna work together to make this dude piss his pants.

Now, you have scary dog privileges.

Genshin Sagau (?) Isekai Brainrot - Language

I've seen like ONE small kinda related Genshin Sagau/isekai idea for this but I wanted more of it so BAD

It’s not the most interesting thing in the world, it’s about our modern vernacular vs. Teyvat's flowery speech

Pls feel free to expand on or add to this pLEASE TAG ME IF U DO IM STARVING OUT HERE :)))

So I saw someone write like one sentence abt this (can’t remember who :( sorry I’ll update if I find them ) or like a brutally honest version??

But I also took inspo from how fucking wordy and long conversations that are in Genshin, even with ppl like Xiao (the rude boy that he is) or even Tighnari who gets to the point pretty quickly

It goes smth like:

So, all of Teyvet, (esp ppl like Zhongli 💀 u know the ones) talk,, flowery.

Like, the whole Pride and Prejudice style speaking, euphemisms, metaphors, for some characters (or Npcs) its full on POETRY.

Lookin’ at you Kazuha.

And going off of any variation of you being the Creator, (or otherwise an older mythical being?), they could have this thing where the older a deity/mythical thingy is, the simpler the speech.

Kinda makes sense to them y’know? The older beings are serious, commanding, intimidating

And nothing says "I'm ancient as fuck and powerful as fuck" like simple blunt speech.

And being closer to the literal creation of the world, language would understandably be less complex (I’m assuming it’s the same as in human cultures in our world's history)

Like literally look at our fantasy typical stories, plenty of them have a dragon or ancient god that speaks in extremes, like so flowery its a metaphor, or so bluntly its startling (ie, "Be not afraid." "I am all powerful." etc etc)

And so, ancient powerful being = direct/blunt speech

…

...Y'know,, almost like our modern vernacular.

Like, part of some of our modern day comedy is purely based on a sentence being delivered bluntly for impact

Hell our ads and videos and content in general we always want to get to the point, to say things simply

So with this in mind, even if you try to deny being the Creator, they might still think you are, or at least a more minor ancient deity/creature

(like the Seven Sovereigns/Phanes/Shades/etc. for example would sound eerily modern or at least easy for you to understand bc of this trait lol)

(Also I'm just assuming u know Genshin lore enough to know what I meant by that ^)

So, I love the AU where you just,, hitch a ride with the traveler like Paimon bc u start at the "beginning of the game",

And with every person you meet, you're like, "Ok, no, I promise this is just how my country/world speaks, it's not like that, I'm not some ancient deity…"

And They're all like 🤨🤨🤨 "Well, fine traveler and companions, why does your speech sound so simplistic and sharp? Surely, you do not expect me to truly believe you.."

You: "Please I just talk like this, I'm a regular human."

Them: "Alright, if it is as you say,, you wish to not experience being "known" yes? Fear not, I will keep your secrets close to my chest."

You: "No, for the last time, that's not-"

And it just keeps happening, lol

(srry I tried my best at emulate Genshin language + flowery speech idk how to do it)

Like maybe you would just sound weird or like a foreigner speaking y’know in simpler sentences bc they don't know the language as well as native speakers, at least that could be how you sound to NPCs and ppl who don’t know abt simpler speech meaning

...But the Adepti? Zhongli?? Barbatos maybe??? Even the Aranara??? Those who are old enough to maybe have heard how older beings speak or at least have knowledge of how they should speak/sound??

You couldn’t have predicted how shocked their faces were the second you opened you’re mouth…

Sumeru scholars would freak tf out i stg, as soon as you meet Haypasia, she's already losing it, first the Irminsul progress, now this ancient being/Creator?? Girlie thinks its a sign lmao

(I’m an Aether lover, and also bc I think Lumine looks badass as Abyss ruler, so I’m gonna go with Aether for traveler sorry Lumine mains love yall T-T)

You, and Aether being equally confused at first pLEASE 😭

lets say he speaks a little more fluffy than you at least, after all I’m assuming bc of the outfit that he’s from a fantasy-like place, and his replies can be a little fluffy like Teyvat’s residents, so he kinda fits in, kinda like everybody assumes he's just from another country when he gets to a new nation (at least that’s what I think happens??)

Like after (maybe Diluc?) Lisa, Kaeya, Venti, and Jean (who I think would all be knowledgeable, thru diff means, about this enough to maybe recognize the simpler speech = ancient god thing)

ALL reacted shocked as hell at hearing you talk, and would probably explain (or Paimon before then?) in that infuriatingly roundabout way, that you would usually skip a couple dialogue boxes just to avoid bc yOU ALREADY GOT THE POINT or alternatively WHATS THE POINT HERE?? JUST SAY IT, WHATS THE COMMISSION/QUEST FOR/WHAT DO I DO??

(Those blue highlights be savin my impatient life, and i actually like lore stuff 💀)

Oh that’s also another frustration. For you.

It would drive me crazy if I had to wait like,, 2-3 minutes for ppl to explain what they ate for dinner or sm shit

Like, now imagine that’s everyone, about everything.

You don’t know how anything gets done in battles or wars, like you need faster communication for that right??💀

Anyway, you, Aether and Paimon decide you just gotta not talk when you first meet people or like,, make sure you're gonna be around that person for a while so you don’t have to possibly get someone over the shock of your speech every time you guys talk to people 😭 that'd be so miserable I can already tell,,

Like at first, every convo ya’ll have had with people who recognize that direct speech trait as a thing, would take at least 10 minutes to finish talking about it/being shocked,,

It got so old so fast.

(Like I already can’t communicate that good with ppl irl bc I misunderstand them, or they do me, or they just dont get what I mean, and as my friends put it, which I think would fit here for any language shenanigans we go thru in Teyvat, "A Shakespearean level of misunderstanding, hilarious but such a downward spiral to watch, it just gets more and more ridiculous as it goes on...")

On another note, making fun of someone would be so fucking funny,

I’d like to give myself the benefit of the doubt that many characters, after getting used to your speech, would generally understand you (even if they always notice it, like an accent) and would actually rlly love hearing insults or even just generally how you would put things

(like maybe treating this almost like those vids of ppl with non-native english speaknig relatives/parents and its the most hilarious thing to watch them, usually get pissed 😭, at their kid, if u dont know what I mean look up on tiktok or smth)

And You just come off like those insults where you dont even use cuss words, you just like, drag queen read them into never showing their face again, and you did it in so few words!!

They're amazed and oh,

you've become the John Mulaney of Teyvat

You: "I wouldn't even be cremated in those." )

*Aether crying laughing in the background bc he never knows what you’re gonna say next, and Paimon's jaw dropped so hard

HEHE sorry i held onto this ask until I had all the Zelda designs posted, and then I,,,forgot to do that lol.

some Bonus Zelda thoughts! some of this i've maybe said before idk:

ALTTP Zelda

her armor is more ceremonial than practical. While I didn't give this to every Queen Zelda, I liked the idea of the princess's pauldrons progressing to more plate armor in the queen's dress. That's also why I changed her color scheme to blue to differentiate from the princess' pink (exceptions for this being HW Zelda who wears red as queen, ST Zelda who still wears pink as queen and BOTW Zelda who wore blue as princess)

anyway. she's more of a scholar than a warrior but she still has killer aim with a bow

her pet project has been recovering, restoring, and filling in the gaps of the royal library and archive. Mage helps her out with this as he has a knack for stumbling upon forgotten ancient texts in his travels

A lot of ppl assume she's rather prim or austere but she's actually got a lot of whimsy and humor in her. It's why she and Mage get along so well :D

She lets Mage get away with a lot of shenanigans and keeps the royal guard from arresting his ass all the time

if mage is ur weird uncle she's like. ur cool aunt

Tetra

she's still sailing the seas with her crew!

she and Wake have had a bit of a falling out though, partially over disagreements about searching for New Hyrule, and have gone their separate ways for now. There's not any real animosity between them, just like,,,frustration. They'd still do anything for each other.

She's got 2 pistols and a cutlass and she knows how to use them

She could bench press Wake. easily.

She's brash and commands a lot of respect but she's also a lot of fun to be around. She's brutally honest and says what's on her mind.

I think she still feels a lot of confusion and frustration about the revelations about her lineage and the role King Daphnes seemed to force on her because of it. She doesn't want much to do with what the divine. She values the freedom sailing on the sea gives her.

TP Zelda

she's. so tired. a lot of the responsibility of rebuilding the kingdom has fallen squarely on her shoulders. She's holding shit together by a thread but by god is she holding it together.

Looks pretty cold and unapproachable but she has a kind heart. She cares deeply for the people of her kingdom. She would sacrifice a lot for them and already has.

Never relaxes. Works like 24/7. get this girl a hobby

Midzel canon. Midna also had a thing with Link but it wasn't a polycule more of a this is my girlfriend Midna and this is Midna's boyfriend Link kind of a situation. Anyway she misses Midna.

Wolf and Zelda are like. coworkers. They haven't really gotten any closer in the aftermath of everything. Wolf wants nothing to do with playing the role of the hero in a political sense like Zelda keeps asking him to. I don't think Zelda necessarily blames him for escaping that responsibility, but she Is frustrated she doesn't have that luxury.

MC Zelda

a little cutie!! very bubbly and extroverted and curious about the world. She spends a lot of time outside of the castle running around with Mini. The King is so glad she's safe after everything he still just lets her do whatever she wants lol

She used to be the one dragging Mini into shenanigans all the time but he's gained a lot of confidence over his quest and is less timid now. now they are equally engaging in shenanigans

Hangs out with Malon too!! The three of them are besties

I like to think she can also still see the minish even if she can't shrink down to their size. she thinks they're so cute. Maybe mini gives her a jabbernut so she can speak to them too :-)

She helps Mini build his fucked up little trash robots. She also pretties them up with paint

scolded by castle staff frequently for getting grass stains and dirt on her nice clothes lol. She probably isn't usually running around in her full princess garb though.

Like Mini, has mostly refused to process most of what happened to her and is just trying to enjoy life.

Prince Zel

I went back and forth about whether or not I wanted to go with naming him Sheik or not. I decided against it since this is the version of him that never had to become Sheik. He keeps Zelda as a legacy name and shortens it to Zel most of the time.

Pretty lonely in the castle without many friends his age. He desperately wants to be better friends with Mask but is mostly rebuffed.

Even though he doesn't have to become Sheik in this timeline, I think he has begun training with Impa. Just under a lot less duress

Still occasionally has prophetic visions but has become somewhat hesitant about sharing them. I think he understands a little more of what went on in other timelines than he lets on, but he doesn't know or put together all of it.

Often described as odd or intense or standoffish by ppl who meet him but he can be really chatty and lively under the right circumstances

HW Zelda

Her armor is also mostly ceremonial, even though she's definitely more of a warrior queen. She and War are both dressed to project 'peace time' and 'prosperity'. She has other sets of armor that are more suited for combat.

She and War are a lot alike, calculating and cunning, which is why they understand each other. It's also why they're often at each other's throats. They're not really above backstabbing each other, though has Queen she has a lot more leverage.

She's not exactly warm or particularly kind, but she does care about the safety of the Kingdom.

Also never relaxes and works like 24/7

Constantly dealing with a tense, power-hungry and antagonistic court looking to undermine her authority. She has her own private ambitions she's working towards.

ALBW Zelda

She's a really charming and fun person! very down to earth as Queen and a lot more willing to eschew tradition.

She comes across as carefree but she's been ruling Hyrule by herself since she was young and has been subject to a lot of pressure. She had to grow up pretty fast and is wiser than she seems at first glance. She has her court and the people's respect.

She and Mirror share an interest in fashion and the arts. They're,,, they're both theatre kids.

I don't have a lot of other headcanons abt her yet sorry but. i love her

ST Zelda

Has been crowned Queen at the ripe old age of 16 because the last time they appointed a chancellor he turned out to be a demon who stole her body. so

She does not feel ready to be Queen at all but she's doing her best. She's determined not to let anybody push her around again.

She's taken an interest in learning how to fight after the events of spirit tracks. She never wants to feel as helpless as she did then, trapped as a ghost outside her body. Also she really enjoyed hitting things with a giant sword in her big phantom armor. She's become a much better swordsman than Spirit ever was lol

She specifically requested her own suit of armor to mimic the phantom armor

she's pretty protective of Spirit

BOTW Zelda

I think she was conscious for all 103 of those years fighting ganon, even if it seems somewhat blurry and surreal to her now. She remembers it in fits and bursts. She often feels disconnected from her body.

She has no interest in reviving the monarchy or ruling over Hyrule again. However she does have an interest in rebuilding Hylian towns and helping all of Hyrule recover. She still feels like it's her responsibility, not because of her role as princess, but because of what she perceives as her own failure to avert tragedy.

she doesn't just blame herself though- she blames the gods and her father too.

Right now though she's mostly taking a break to get her bearings and recover from 103 years of endless fighting. She and Slate travelled around Hyrule for a while at first, and now she's settled in Hateno trying to figure out how to be normal again. Some rebuilding efforts have already started spearheaded by Hudson and she helps out with those.

SKSW Zelda

honestly not even she is sure what parts of her are herself and what parts are hylia. it's as disconcerting for her as it is for Loft. She's both frustrated that he looks at her differently now and understands completely why he does. She still wishes he wouldn't.

she remembers more about being the goddess than she necessarily lets on

she's really invested in the settlement on the surface and is basically its unofficial leader. she puts a lot of time and effort into making sure everything is going according to plan and that they have everything they need to keep living on the surface

she's protective of Loft and worries a lot for him. She blames herself for a lot of what he struggles with now and wants to make it better.

she's not the fun police though, she likes a death-defying loftwing stunt as much as the next person

she did become a knight after the events of skyward sword! They don't really wear the uniforms down on the surface much anymore though and it's become less of a formal order while everyone focuses on building and improving the village.

She's been working on her swordsmanship

I think she really loves music and singing

okay so since bells is prob gonna read this i'm not going to put any context so she's gonna be confused as fuck when i mention characters she's hasn't heard of before anyways yeah i'm doing paragraphs and all of that shit that first thing was called the pre monologue whatever the fuck anyways okay so like when you first meet her she's really fucking rude to you like she says you would look prettier with makeup and that your clothes are drity and all of that mean as fuck shit so like ppl describe shane as being mean as fuck to you because he's depressed and like drinking at all points of the day - which is not an excuse but reasonable - and ppl say that haley is mean to you just because WHICH IS FAIR but then again she was used to be considered the best because of confirmed cannon evidence saying, "Being wealthy and popular throughout high school has made Haley a little conceited and self-centered. " this supports the fact that her thinking she is the best has been what she has been told so she acts like everyone around her is the worse!!! also her parents are also cannon like gone and that might trigger a response in her to act in a sort of way. or she's just mean cause she's brutally honest and a bitch at the start of her character but i don't fucking know so like you have a couple of heart eventts showing her sister takes care of her and that she's a spolied brat but like around 6 or 8 hearts she's like improving what she used to say to you is like i'm gonna throw away my clothes and buy new ones or get rid of this and do this not beneficial thing and now it's like i'm gonna donate help people and she's also a better person in just a general sense like she thanks you for finding a bratical that has a lot of senimental value to her (as it was her grandmothers) she's growing as a person and improving so you date her and blah blah blah SHE'S SO FUCKING SWEET AND KIND LIKE EXCUSE ME??? she goes from ur an ugly bitch put some makeup on to damn i'm gonna donate clothes also ur pretty as fuck please kiss me you have a couple of cut scences like these really cute photos of taking a ride on a cow and alsooo kissing in a red room which is fun and kinda spicy ANYWAYS okay so like for her 14 heart event SHE LITERALLY FUNDS MONEY FOR PENNY JAS AND VINCENT SO THEY CAN GET BOOKS THAT'S THE MOST KIND FUCKING THING EVER she's so kind and loving towards you and yes she's slightly spolied but she has a lot of fun quirks that make her a kind of fun and adorable character she likes photography (me) and pretty and kind as fuck as you know her more okay also about that post i was talking about earlier her best friend is alex who is like the most jock aggorant dick you have ever seen which makes her seems straight as fuck but she's kinda gay as well like she would totally kiss a woman and have a crush on a girl soo that's my take

Send me a ship and I'll give you my (brutally) honest opinion on it

imma be real with u chief, i have no idea what dluc is supposed to find attractive in childe. obviously he hates fatui, but i don't even see like enemies to lovers or hate sex here, bc for that to me, they need to be ideologically opposed. they need to like, have opposing convictions and respect each other. and childe doesn't have that, hes literally out there trying to do liyue 9\11 and then going hey dont be maaad, im just a lil guy, im just doing orders. why would diluc respect that. and diluc almost killed his own brother when he learned that he was hiding the truth about his connection to dubiously evil organisation, and childe is doing same but worse to his own siblings, so they dont even have a point of connection re: childe's loyalty to family.

i'd love to love rosa\kaeya in theory, but as i said before, i think they are just both too cryo for their own good. like too emotionally isolated, like i remember just one their interaction on screen and they were v glib and sarcastic with each other. which is fun friendship dynamic, but for like romantic connection they'd need to open up. like they got close i think bc they both think that it would be bad for other ppl to get close to them and they keep distance from everyone, but recognize this similarity and you know, moral ambiguity in each other, so they see each other as like its safe bc the other one will not open up and get hurt, bc they are both closed off. but this means that keeping this distance and ignoring moments of weakness from each other is like the basis for them, which doesn't allow them to be really vulnerable. idk, i think it i could see this, but not as it's right now in canon, but after like lots of therapy lol, or a lot of writing to get them to a better place

Imagine before Logarius locked Queen Annalise up, she said: "You are into me so hard yet you can't even admit it to me upfront. Be honest to yourself for once"

She even looked like she found the idea of him being a huge simp for her entertaining and if she should just tell everyone that martyr Logarius is into her but his prideful ass stops him most of the time

Logarius is the type who feels stupidly proud when he has simps but him simping for someone else after all that "Mr. So Holy I don't get involved with earthly desires"? Yes that's a big NO in his book

Cuz if everyone knows Logarius is a simp for the Woman he made a huge derogatory slander of, some will think "Ohh so that's why he hates her so much, hell of a way of being denial". It fits some versions of Logarius's impressions that some ppl thought of him

Oh yes, Annalise taunting Logarius to the bitter end is just *chef’s kiss*

I love that idea. Especially because it’s suggested that they completely ripped away her child and brutalized her. She should have broken down, but Annalise is a fortress. She still has her pride and dignity when we meet her. She absolutely called Logarius out in front of all his men, and he could have dismissed it all he liked, but the truth and shame burnt right through his chest. By that point, he HAD to bury her and hide her from the rest of the world. It was his pathetic idea of victory.

I love that he wears the Crown of Illusions. Sure, it creates a false image to hide Annalise, but the name itself feels sardonic. He crowned himself with his own delusional identity and sat on a mock throne over a dead kingdom. His pride gained him both everything and nothing.

omg I love this !! let's take a little inspo from snowpiercer and make it a charcoal sketch, rolled up and put into a small tube to be hand delivered all the way up north to his kingdom. when word got out that Curtis was looking for a wife, many kingdoms offered their daughters to the respected king. Among the intricate portraits and many bribes in the form of jewels and artifacts, the smallest, simplest one stood out the most. it was a fraction of the size of the rest, lacking in colour, detailed silk and furs and backgrounds.

your parents used charcoal bc resources are already scarce, and you are one of the poorer kingdoms. the portrait arrived from an exhausted, nearly frozen carrier on a horse, along with a bag of dried white clovers.

Curtis wasn't ever one to put up a front, he was honest, brutally so. With every passing princess portrait and box of precious gems and riches, he only grew more bored and regretful. This was a waste—he had jewels and priceless valuables, and he and his people were thriving, they didn't need any of this. that was until your small sketch is presented, wrinkled and smudged from the snow, he didn't need to ask for your name because he already knew it. the whole continent knew of you and your failing reign.

and later that night after he's sent word of his chosen wife, he lies in bed next to candlelight and your portrait in his hands. the marriage was to help your kingdom that was on the brink of death—that's what he continued to tell himself.

Qween Jean, a Black and Trans community leader was arrested at a PEACEFUL march for Trans Liberation on May 31st, 2023. AS SOON AS THEY GOT THERE there was lots of police and they arrested Qween Jean. I'm not sure if she's out yet as I can't find info on tht. On instagram it says to bail support at 7th precinct 191/2 Pitt St, New York, NY, 10002

This can't keep happening, there needs to be nationwide peaceful protests abt this!! Demonstrations need to be everywhere!!!! IT HAS BEEN 53 YEARS SINCE THE FIRST PRIDE PROTEST! I say protest bc PRIDE STARTED AS A PROTEST! It can ONLY be a parade when we truly get our rights. We can't celebrate until we see our victory. Like, our victory is in the bag bc good ALWAYS wins but we need to take ACTION!

ALSO, ANOTHER THING! NOTE HOW WHEN THE NYPD GOT KICKED OUTTA PRIDE, THEY STARTED ARRESTING AND STUFF! If they actually cared they would let this go on. PROTEST SAFETY RULES!!

Take water and stay hydrated! If someone doesn't have water and u have some to spare, waterfall it.

Keep face masks and switch your phone to airplane mode. This is a surveillance country. They know how to find you. And if u take pics, make sure tht ur location is extremely hard to pinpoint.

If a police officer arrests u, know ur miranda rights and STAY SILENT AND BE CALM! They will use what they can to take it against u. You have to think a stairway ahead of them. They can't say anything if u don't say anything! And justice will be served so dw, God's with you. Also, yes u can say ur manners like thank you and excuse me.

Again, please repost this everywhere u can.

how do you feel about repressed dean?

I've been sitting on this one, and I've been a little scared of it, to be honest. I really hope it's not anger-bait. So, why not answer it in the middle of the night, when few will see it?

Here goes: I love just about anything that's complex, you know? I think if I had to pick, I'd say I'm more a fan of consciously suppressed Dean than unconsciously repressed Dean, at least when it comes to emotions.

(Of the two, I actually view Cas as the more repressed one, not always privy to the three-dimensionality and multifaceted depth of his own motivations. -> "I always wondered, ever since I took that burden, that curse, I wondered what it could be? What my true happiness could even look like."

And The Empty knows who Cas loves, sure, but does Cas really, really know the extent of what that means at that point? I don't know. Did Cas allow himself to fantasize, or did he shut it down and sublimate it so hard into The Mission that it lives only in the repressed shadow-world of The Empty?

Cas can certainly read others and is, I think, actually more emotionally intuitive than characters like Sam, but his own emotions? He brutally trained to repress them to the point the Angelic company line is, “We’re heartless. We feel nothing.”)

Anyway, I really adore when Dean knows what's going on and is actively choosing his whole sublimation and transference approach, whatever that approach happens to be.

As a default, I view him as emotionally intuitive. That said, we have seen him unconsciously repress his own memories of Cas rejecting him in Purgatory, so you can certainly build things around Dean and repression! (It seems like the rejection was the big issue there, more than even losing Cas. -> "We were there! It was like you just gave up!")

And I know it's not exactly popular but:

I think you can make a well-argued case for a deeply closeted Dean who doesn't act on his less “acceptable” urges. Like, he was The Good Son, you know? It's completely logical for me to see a reading where Dean has Queer Relationships that he knows have implications and yet keeps them juuuuuust peripheral enough that he doesn't act on them in a way that he thinks counts, which for argument's sake can be not acting on them physically or just…sublimating them into Rhonda Hurley type scenarios. Or he just gets himself into situations where he triangulates.

Dean tends to get stereotyped in a hypersexual manner, so I think assumptions are made, but they don’t have to be made, and we don’t have to conclude the same thing. I mean, there are stories where I find a less-sexual-than-expected Dean fascinating. I mean, clearly, he’s flustered around men like Aaron Bass. He gets flustered too when Cas tells him over the phone in Prophet & Loss that, “It’s so good to hear from you.” I can roll with it. Perhaps it really comes down to which parts of his puffed up performance you believe, and some ppl believe waaay less of it.

Anyway, overall, it’s just fine as a reading. I'm not here to read the text just one way! I hope I don't come off that way…because I enjoy things that aren’t my “Main.” Some of my all-time favorite fics approach Dean in unusual ways, and it's delicious and painful and all the things that keep you riveted for days.

Some of them even challenge me and change my mind.

I read one where Dean sunders himself from his own desires and act strategically-manipulatively as a way to prop up the desires of others in order to get at the security he craves, and I absolutely love that! That Dean might suppress his own needs to obtain a goal with regards to someone else's continued presence/security/etc? Mind-bogglingly awesome in my book! Dean’s shadow self is demonic; he can read others’ needs and maneuver desires! Maybe sometimes getting past others’ desires and all the way down to his own can be like rupturing a boil! I’m here for it!

In some stories, Dean is the emotionally forthright heart/Tinman, but suppressed insomuch that he doesn't take that final physical step unless he's being steered by someone else's desires, which can be argued beautifully, I think. On the other hand, Dean is certainly courageous in trying to communicate his feelings as early as season 8. (But arguably, he’s not as clear about it as he thinks!)

And what of Cas being forward? Cas uses grand gestures a lot, and he prefers to hide behind a Noble Cause but when he Gets It, he Gets It. He’s more firmly explicit about it, because Cas can be up-front to the point of bluntness. (His words were grand, too, a pretty grand gesture, all on its own.) Cas is certainly a courageous/Cowardly Lion in season 15, once he finally wakes up to What's Going On.

Overall, Cas is remarkably brave, even when he thinks he's not. He lives in the fear and is culturally outside of his comfort zone 99% of the time, and 9 times out of 10 he will do something regardless of how foolish he may look.

The thing is, people go through things and they get psychologically wounded and they have periods where their mental health thresholds plummet, so really, depending on the context, people can act in unusual or unexpected ways and it totally works!

What i’m trying to say, Repressed Dean enjoyers, is that I support you.

You said you think Dash and Aj’s elements should be switched, i haven’t watched the show in years but i’m curious as to your reasons why

Ok so I have firmly believed this for years, to the point where I sometimes forget it isn't canon lol.

With the other Mane 6 it is extremely obvious what their elements are, its a big character trait for them! Pinkie is always trying to make ppl laugh, Fluttershy is always spending her time showing kindness and caring to animals, and Rarity is always giving ppl new outfits and stuff bec she thinks everyone deserves to feel beautiful! Twilight is also obvious bec she's u kno, super magical.

However with AJ they explain that she's honest by adding on the minor character trait that she can not lie, which i think is kinda boring and not as impactful or big like the other Mane 6's elements! Same with Rainbow, like idk I feel like "loyalty" isn't a huge trait for her!

On the other hand Loyalty works SO well with AJ's character and overall backstory!! She is super loyal to her family, she will do anything for them and works her ass off for the farm! I just think it would fit her so well, for her to be the stubbornly loyal friend who will not give up on her loved ones and will do anything for them and will back them up no matter what. It just fits her vibes soooo much more!! And her loyalty to her family is such a big personality trait for her!!

Rainbow Dash being the element of honesty also works really well. She seems to me like a take no nonsense, "I will tell u how i feel about you and/or this situation no matter what" kind of gal. Dash has no filter, she just says what she thinks, big neurodivergent vibes, she is so me. Of course this gets her into a lot of trouble, tbh her being the element of honesty could bring on some good discussions on how sometimes there are times when you shouldn't be brutally honest, but other times honesty is a great trait ho have! I feel like her having no filter and always being honest is also a far more big and important trait for her, Honesty being her element just fits so well.

Anywaysss just think it fits a lot more with the themes of the other Mane 6 having their elements be such a big part of their characters! And it fits their personalities so well!!

heres some of my fob opinions, some unpopular, some probably pretty common:

-as toxic as bandom was in 2015, I think it was equal or maybe even worse during the mania era. tons of "fans" saying fob were being cringe with mania, that fob was over, chasing their heyday, and that if you liked mania you just like it because it was fob.

-fob aren't appreciated for how innovative or dynamic they are or the mark they've left on music because of their association with "emo music", which is associated with teen girls.

-pete and patrick's relationship broke down completely during the hiatus, to the point that there was animosity between them - but they downplay it/act like they just drifted apart when talking about it now because it's too painful/it's in the past.

-patrick could've found tons of success with his solo stuff it he went the pop route because of his vocals (but im glad he didn't, I love soul punk!).

- yeah :( thinking abt this makes me so sad because like people will make jokes abt how their stories about the hiatus is constantly changing bc they forget how it went but it seems much more to me that. literally as you said. they downplay it because like. the hiatus Fucked them all up, and who would want to constantly be brutally honest about that to interviewers and fans??

- god yeah he couldve, his voice is so so good and versatile he absolutely couldve made a killing becoming a pop artist. theres another universe where that happened but tbh think this universe got the best outcome <333
