I AM BACK because now im imagining what ring pantalone would propose to reader with!? first dottore, now pantalone’s turn hehe. anyways of courseeeee its extravagant. like your average snezhnayan citizen could buy two or three HOUSES based on how much your ring costs. and hes so silly too because it’s literally intentional. he wants news of your engagement to him to be the talk of the town! like im just imagining the two of you attending a gala for the first time after your engagement, he’s unfortunately stuck in a conversation with a few of his business partners so you’re talking to another guest very animatedly with your hands and then suddenly their eyes just POP open because they’ve finally noticed the RING on your RING FINGER. as more people start to swarm you, they start asking you, isn’t it heavy? where did he propose? were you surprised? was it romantic? all to which you laugh off, completely unaware of your fiancé (😍) approaching you from behind, the BIGGEST smirk on his face as he puts a warm hand on your waist, guiding you to wrap your arms around him as he addresses the group, asking if he can “steal my (fiancée/fiancé) back for a moment?” the sound of his voice comforting as you lean against him before he’s leading you away with you in a fit of giggles trailing behind him.

turns out he just wanted to kiss you silly in an empty corridor away from the crowd.

(and after the party he’s helping you take off your accessories, be it the ones in your hair, around your wrist, or around your neck, the piece of jewelry that won’t leave your body is the ring on your finger, the ring he leans down to press a kiss against 🥺)

Thankfully at this point you've learned how to make good conversation with the numerous other people here since your lover tends to be wrapped up in business. You didn't even mean to make it that big of a deal but suddenly you have a whole crowd of people surrounding you absolutely fawning over your ring! There's even some paparazzi here?? And somehow everyone is so interested in your love life with Pantalone?? You can't blame them though, the idea of a Harbinger getting married is almost unheard of since they always tend to be scary as hell. Not to mention he's so extremely handsome. 😭

Everyone quiets down when your fiancé (😍) seemingly pops out of nowhere and protectively wraps his arms around you in front of everyone 😭. You know from the smirk on his face HE HAS NO SHAME and you only confirm that more when he boldly states that you're his soon-to-be spouse as if it's common knowledge!! He's doing this on purpose and honestly, you're here for it. As soon as you are out of earshot the gossiping and murmurs start up again and y'all are the only thing people are talking about at the gala for the whole evening 😭

I can imagine Pantalone pulling you away for a few minutes in private every ball simply to kiss you because he needs a break from all of these people (and he is totally not jealous at how some of the guests are getting so close to you... you have to reassure him that he's the only one who gets to see you like this)

Ugh Pantalone helping you undress and relax after all of that 🫶 All of the exhaustion suddenly caught up to you, you can just lay back on his chest and he very perfectly massages the stress and tension out of you, whispering about how perfect and lovely you are 🫶 AND THE RING KISS IS SO TENDER 😫😫🤞

After that little stunt, he makes sure to have a few professional photoshoots with you and him... which are displayed in the Snezhnayan newspaper on the front page... and now everyone is talking about how the ninth Harbinger is finally tying the knot with you!! He knows how to get people talking lol. Let's just say the wedding is the biggest one Snezhnaya has ever seen 🤭🤭

I DIDNT SEE THIS EARLIER HI. ok so well first u would not believeeee how many people argue abt this topic online 😭 second: they havent said specifically what labels they use but they said theyve "always preferred he/they" and that "ppl can use whatever i dont really have a preference" and apparently dressed as a girl during high school and college & theyve talked abt gender and stuff and how they wouldve gone 2 a gender therapist of they couldve at the time. and in hit unreleased song everybody hates the eagles which they workshopped onstage over several shows (insane thing that happened And i watched this on instagram live. insane. bonkers.) they called themself a girl so. theyve not like Officially publicly labeled themself as nonbinary or gnc or trans but at this point i think its a little silly when ppl get mad at each other online for saying theyre probably under the trans umbrella

what they're good at, what they struggle with ⁠♡

Tokyo Revengers characters, the love languages they offer, and the love languages they struggle with! (very fluffy)

Hanagaki Takemichi - Takemichi loves giving big, warm hugs! He's very physically affectionate and loves holding hands and hugging his partner, to the point that it's an instinct. At the end of the day, he simply loves snuggling up under a bunch of blankets with them. Since he's aware his sense of style isn't top-notch, he's nervous about gift-giving, but he tries to remind himself it's the thought that counts. He also loves quality time and choosing interesting date ideas for the weekend. At an amusement park/carnival date, he tries his best to win prizes for his partner to be gifts, and holds their hand to make sure they don't lose each other.

Tachibana Naoto - Naoto loves spending quality time with his partner, even if that's only sitting in the same room while doing things independently. Long walks by the riverbank or at the park are his favourite thing to do with his partner: just enjoying the great company, the weather, and the scenery! He is extremely shy about physical touch, and definitely is not the one initiating a first kiss, but he's very happy when his partner does. In contrast, he's quite vocal about his feelings and says the first "I love you" in the relationship. Also, he never forgets to send an affectionate "Good morning ♡" text.

Hanma Shuji - He says he's not great with words, but Shuji loves showering his partner with compliments and words of affirmation. He also leaves sticky notes with simple but cute limericks where his partner will find them. He's even a little loud about his love, sometimes bursting into a spontaneous song about his partner when he sees them at the start of a date or at the end of the day (he's no singer, though...). He loves physical touch and often surprises his partner with a hug from behind while they're cooking or brushing their teeth.

Kisaki Tetta - Unlike Shuji, Tetta actually is quite bad at putting his romantic feelings into words, so he instead shows affection by gift-giving. He keeps a list on his phone of the things his partner mentions that they like/want, even little things. When they point out a snack or dessert they're interested in at the store, he surprises them with it later. On a beach day, he looks for the perfect shell along the shore to give to his partner. He's nervous about physical touch, so even though he's the first one to initiate holding hands, he's stiff as a statue! He gets used to it, eventually...

it honestly frustrates me when i see people reduce the ericsons cast down to "just some teens in the woods" acting like theyre no different than any other group of lone teenagers from other existing properties and treating them like an overused trope

it is sooo important to acknowledge the "troubled youth" aspect of the whole equation. theyre not just some random teens in the woods clem stumbles across. these kids were abandoned by their families for their various "difficulties" and fucked up by The System before the outbreak even began. and then once zombies started roaming the streets their familes never came back for them and the adults that were in charge of taking care of them just left them there to rot in that old boarding school (except for ms martin who was like their lee 🥺 the only person who ever saw them as the scared traumatized kids they were and died protecting them)

the whole aspect of them already being fucked up by the adults that controlled their lives is like.....kind of important when discussing the whole "delta is stealing kids to force them to fight in a war they have no real part in and want nothing to do with" aspect of the season. and its important when comparing them to clem and her journey of also suffering at the hands of the adults around her forcing her to become self reliant. AND its important when discussing the "just trying to build a safe home (and future) worth fighting for in this world that wants them dead" aspect of the season as well

these kids were forced to come together to survive. and a Lot of them didnt... theyre the only family they have left and you can tell that even when they argue with each other theyre still a close knit group who looks out for each other. theyre a Real family before clem even gets there (and its why what really happened with the twins and brody and marlon hits them all so especially hard)

all of this is what REALLY makes ericsons such a perfect home for clem. its a Real community of her True peers. theyre not Just teens. they mightve had a layer of safety clem never had by at least having walls to keep them safe. and having the benefit of the school being hard to find. its the only reason theyre still alive when clem shows up. but theyre also some of the only people who can Truly understand where clem and aj are coming from. and its why it hurts so much when they vote to kick them out. but its also partially why she merges back into the fold so easily when she returns. plus the fact that shes Really the only one who has any idea what shes doing. shes their rock and she makes them feel safe because underneath it all theyre still just those scared traumatized kids ("EVERYONE is scared, clem..." vi was Definitely including herself in that 'everyone'), and on some level, so is clem

they saved clementines life. and she saved theirs. "the school was supposed to help them with their trauma, now they help each other" its about the LOVE the COMMUNITY the SUPPORT!!!! and thats the shit that makes good zombie media honestly 👌

Allow me, if you will, a moment to go absolutely rabid over your blog and everything that goes on here. I’ve always loved history but the USA hardly likes teaching anything that isn’t American History. I’ve forgotten how much I love WORLD history, specifically the rise and fall of empires.

I’ve been smothering myself in your posts and I love it ALL. JC, Pompey, Crassus, Sulla, Octavian, Antony, Cassius, and Brutus. Wow what a mood. You don’t miss on your references or your modern AU’s and I’m over here like- I’m trying to buy whatever web comic you put out, book you write, etc.

Also, if you’d be so kind to list some material with like themes to start breaking into these topics. Preferably materials in English or translated materials.

if you really want to start on the ground floor for breaking into something, I'd recommend my personal favorite approach which is picking the figure that's most interesting to you, reading through plutarch's biography on them (free! online! in english!) and then putting their name through a jstor search and reading whatever sounds fun.
