i really don't understand why people are so worried about liam playing geralt next season or, like, the idea that liam and joey won't have any chemistry. mainly because after having read the books and having rewatched the show, like, hc is very easily — and noticeably — the weakest performer on the entire show and he consistently does not have any chemistry with anyone. and i'd say when it comes to geralt and jaskier's relationship, it really feels like joey is carrying it which is true. but that also implies that there is something unique about that as if every other actor isn't also carrying things and acting circles around hc in their scenes. which they all are.

like, whether liam's performance is good or bad, i find the idea that he wouldn't live up to hc's performance to be. bizarre. because that bar has been set exceedingly low. as in practically non-existent. like, right now, if we're just comparing hc's performance in s1 to what liam's will be in s4 as those are their first performances as geralt, all liam has to do to surpass hc is... *checks notes* say the lines on the script that he's been paid to say. yeah.

tbh the one and only fearTM i have regarding liam's performance is if the show tries to have him emulate hc's performance — which was bad — and not let him actually do his own thing. like, i just really hope come s4 that there is a soft reboot of geralt's character and that he's written the way he was originally intended and that's what liam's performance is based off of.

I'm gonna go off on a tired tangent here for a sec but isn't it just so incredibly lovely when people make you like things you didn't used to just because they enjoy it? Just appreciation absorption turned into everytime you see this certain thing you think of that person and smile and now there's a little section of day that's just them, and a little section of the world that you now find to be absolutely beautiful all because of them. Loving things because of people and loving people because of things is wonderful I think.

see i know romance isnt everything as you can clearly see how i am not a fan of marriage or commitment but i am a sucker for romance in fictional context. i cherish family and platonic love and those two are very important to me in real life as i see both as a high regard and not a downgrade of romantic love but you give me two fictional characters being in a loving romantic relationship i will eat that up

Rivendell Twins AU Lizzie Facts

I did one of these for Xornoth, now I'm doing this for Lizzie cuz so far I've slept on her and I find her character both incredibly badass and hilarious, both in canon and this AU.

Lizzie is a sorceress! She comes from a long line of sorcerers who are descended from the god of Oceans and Storms, who I will be calling Tempest because I have no creativity. She's one of the most powerful her empire has seen in centuries, and some have even said she is the reincarnation of Tempest themself.

She met Joel when they were little kids, and they grew up together. Unlike how her brother's romance would go, Lizzie and Joel's went at a pretty fast pace. It helped that they'd known one another for so long, that taking the next steps in their relationship just felt natural.

She absolutely hates Scott. She is still very salty about the whole "taking her little brother hostage" situation. When Jimmy gets with Scott, she only barely tolerates him for Jimmy's sake. It's very clear to everyone that she hates his guts though.

This results in her being incredibly petty towards Scott in literally any way she can think of. She's very vocal about her opinions around Scott but nothing but supportive in front of her brother. She loves him and supports his sexuality but out of all the men you could have chosen, did it have to be the one who held you captive? Like three months ago you hated his guts what the hell happened-

In contrast, she gets along surprisingly well with Xornoth. They like to swap embarrassing stories about their siblings and spouses. Jimmy, Joel, Joey, and Scott are in fearTM.

She's like 98% of her brother and her husband's impulse control. The number of times she has had to stop Joel from jumping off a cliff or a tower in his palace because he forgot he didn't have his elytra on is too many to count. She's going crazy somebody help her-

For his eighteenth birthday, Lizzie led Jimmy to her map-room and told him to pick one of their territories. He chose the swamps, because of course he did, and she gave it to him as a gift, crowning him regent.

She and the other ladies in the smp are a squad, like they are in every other AU I make because I will forever push this agenda. Xornoth is allowed, and Joey is sometimes permitted to join them. Scott is only allowed if he has really good gossip.

🌙 : Rifter really doesn’t know what he would wish for, he would mostly want to erase bad things that happened on the past, but he knows that it would have consequences if he did so. so he really wouldn’t wish for anything, too much for him

☀️ : their scarf is the only thing from the past that stayed with them, its the thing that most brings them happiness nex to his own minions. they haven’t been at their happiest in a long time..so they would be just average happy

🔥 : if you take Rifter’s scarf then OH BOY YOU’RE UP FOR A RIDE, he will literally become a wild animal and attack you until you give them their scarf back, but of course this happens very rarely

❄️ : rifter has never been sad since..he “died”..BUT in any case something really debastating happened to them (like one of his minions were killed(he treats them like his children) or something about his past popped out) then he would be crying like no tomorrow. he can be a really creepy cat, but he bottle up his emotions and at any moment those emotions can explode on his face

Just heard what sounded like someone by our front door and Linus (100lb service dog) started growling so I checked our motion cameras and nothing on them. So that means whatever that was is either unable to be seen on camera or is in the house and I don’t like EITHER of those options so mmmmmmm might sage the house tonight def will tomorrow.

Hey yeah so witches who follow me whats some protection stuff I can put up because while I’m Methodist Lite and have that Ingrained Christian GuiltTM and FearTM of witchcraft, I trust y’all more when it comes to dealing with spirits and creatures. I deal with spirits to the level I can communicate with them and while it’s only just family, I don’t want anything getting through the wards my guardian spirits have up

I can usually predict which Magnus episodes will hit my FearTM buttons and which are ultimately enjoyably spooky but not too scary for me. 

And then sometimes an episode that I think is probably in the latter category gets under my skin in a big way and I need to have a sit down.

Matty

1. what is one word to shut them up?

I mean it might not get them to FULLY shut up but it definitely would get them off the topic if you shouted “Jazzy!” bc then they’d immediately be focused on their kid, of course. So let’s go with that?

5. List 3 fears; 1 surface-level, one repressed, one Deep Dark FearTM

for surface level, flying. they are terrified of flying and heights and nope won’t do it. Repressed fear is men raising their voices and/or being overly aggressive. They can do just fine if its a matter of protecting someone, like if an SA person is harassing the Inn and yelling, but like in general? nope. Sometimes the Villains raise their voices or get angry, and like they can hold it together to deescalate the situation, but after they WILL be crying in their room. Winnie and Blue are quick to step in whenever someone gets too aggressive, and Blue is always really careful not to show anger, even if he is pissed the fuck off. Deep Dark Fear is not being enough. They are scared shitless that they won’t be enough one day to save someone in need, or to protect their family, or that their family will decide they arent good enough and leave. They absolutely will push themself too far to help people, which can be bad because they’ve got chronic pain due to being in a severe car crash as a kid. Blue and Winnie and the others at the inn get real creative with lightening Matty’s load without letting them realize what they are doing because they get annoyed by it lmao

44. What’s one thing they wish they could do more often but can’t?

Matty secretly really fucking wants to travel. They’ve got a laundry list of places they want to visit, but they are so busy with the inn and refuse to take time off even if Winnie says she can handle it, and then there’s the fear of flying, and yea they don’t travel much. The last time they did was for their honeymoon where Blue, Matty, and Jazzy went to Disney World because Matty is a massive Disney fan (why yes Jasmine is named after the Disney princess thank you for asking) And yea it is kinda weird to bring your kid to your honeymoon, but one, Matty is ace so it’s not like they were going to be fuckin; two Matty’s got some of their own separation issues with staying near Jazzy; and three i mean hell they had a four year old, they just had take her with them you know? especially since Matty had no idea when they’d be able to go again. (.... Blue is definitely planning another trip for just the two of them soon tho....)

Blue

1. What is one word to shut them up?

Siren. If you mention Dark Siren, Blue will shut up real quick and retreat into himself until Matty pulls him back out. Dark Siren is his mom, and she was Not Good, and even though she’s in prison now and has been for years, he’s still scared of her - and guilty about what she made him do.

5. List 3 fears; 1 surface-level, one repressed, one Deep Dark FearTM 

Surface level fear is the ocean, past where you can’t see land. he loves the beach and going with Matty and Jasmine, but if he can’t see land he gets panicked. Yes, he’s a water type Super. Yes he can control the water and breathe under water and would be just fine no matter how far out he is. He is still afraid of it and i dont feel like going into why. Repressed fear is honestly kids. He’s amazing with Jasmine and loves her dearly, but he’s terrified that he’ll hurt her or any other kid. His mom made him hurt other kids when he was younger as a way to turn him into a hardened Villain with no attachments or empathy, and he’s still so, so, so guilty over it even if he didn’t have a choice, and he’s terrified he’ll hurt another kid, even if he never, ever would or would want to do so. Deep Dark Fears... he’s kinda got two big ones. one is of course his mom. the second is hurting or losing Matty. Matty really gave him a second chance and he loves them so fucking much it scares him sometimes, and the thought of losing them or Jazzy is terrifying to him. Especially when combined with his issue with hurting kids in the past, because he’s fully aware that if he ever, ever hurt or threatened Jazzy in some way, it would not matter how much Matty loves him or how much he loves Matty, he’d be gone with no second chances. The only time Matty refuses to give someone another chance is if they hurt their daughter. They make zero compromises, and so it’s just double fears with that. I would like to note that Matty understands accidents and things that are out of your control. A lot of Villains have trouble controling their powers, especially if they are scared or in a nightmare or smth like that. If it was out of their control, they would give the Super a second chance, though they’d definitely keep them away from Jasmine. When it comes to romantic partners tho, things are a bit different and Matty is way more wary.
