All right you got my creative juices running with part five of Klarion is Dan yes the first series I ever came to you with

To find him Klarion isn't the only one living in the DC dimension in like the word of protective mother Danny is he sent one of clarion's older siblings to go with him Larsal/Lassie

She was one of the clone children that was created long before Danny knew that was trying to clone him she was one of the first failures

She doesn't really have a physical form as much she is more of like a big pit of water that has like a spiritual like form like Dr Fate

She hates Vlad so much that the entire League of assassins who's also hit him even though they don't know who he is but know that Danny got from Clockwork was about her and visiting

Klarion knows about the quote as the same thing last knows about him being a villain they keep each other secrets cuz they know they make Mom disappointed

When they do have somewhat of a physical form it's a cowgirl with a horse made entirely of Lazarus Pits

Along with that Vlad making surprise visit after feeling someone's littering his name more than usual it's like a call about anytime he knows his children or Daniel is talking about him

Also Batman's freaking out after I think that one of Danny's kids is such a little hater that they made a cult just despite their father which makes the Justice League think Vlad really that bad

This is just the funny idea and I know it's not a good prompt I'm still trying to think of more sorry

Danny barely avoided getting questioned further about his relation to Vlad when he noticed the green post-it note and made a grab for it. "Oh would you look at that! Pop is sending us a message!"

Okay maybe he said that louder than necessary but he needed to change the topic. He didn't need more people on to torment the fruitloop. His own kids were already giving the man enough grief as it was. He didn't need distant cousins or an entire hero society of another dimension coming after the fruitloop too. Not that he would mind that much but some mercy towards the redeemed man would probably be appropriated.

Either way Danny focused his attention on the note only half heartedly listening as Klarion continued his family tree explanation to his little hero friends. He blinked at the note several times before laughing happily. "Would you look at that! Lassie is going to come by! Your Granpa Clock is giving us a heads up, so I can prepare a fresh batch of ectoplasm for her to stay healthy!"

Whatever Klarion was explaining right now was abandoned as he sat up straight. "Lassie is coming too?"

"Well of course she is." Danny hummed happily, thankful for the chance of seeing both his kids that liked to life in the same dimension.

"Lassie?" Red Robin piped up questioning. Oh looks like this is one of Klarions siblings they hadn't gotten to yet regarding explanations.

"Yes my fourth oldest but unofficial second oldest." Danny nodded with a proud mother smile on his face. "She lives in this dimension too to keep an eye on Klarion so he would stay safe and dosen't over do it."

Klarion on the other hand groaned. "I don't need Lassie to baby sit me!"

"Klarion, sweety you were new to the whole living alone in another dimension thing. You spent the longest in FarFrozen and the Ghost Zone with me because of your destabilisation." Danny reprimanded him softly and the teen heroes snickered behind Klarions back to which the witch boy turned to glare at them with a greenish blush across his cheeks.

"So what does that sister of yours look like?" Impulse asked to change the topic and because he took a bit of pity on Klarion for the way his Mom was apparently embarrassing the witch boy. His question resulted in Klarion flipping though the photo album before stopping at an image of Klarion next to a pit of green something. Impulse arched an eyebrow and was about to comment when he got pushed roughly to the side by Red Robin.

"THAT'S A LAZARUS PIT!"

The way Batman's chair clattered to the ground as the man stood up looked every bit like he was going to rush over to the teens spoke for the shock that Red Robin shout had caused. The Ghost King and Klarion on the other hand looked rather calm as they barely reacted to the shout and Danny even motioned to Batman to sit back down again, as the chair that fell rightened itself again.

"Calm down. Lassie is a good child. She wouldn't hurt a fly." Danny told them smiling, not realising that both Batman and Red Robin were giving him increadulous looks behind their mask.

"A.... good child?" Batman repeated his slowly his voice even more tinged with his usual gruff gravel in a way that both Superman and Wonder Woman side eyed him worried while Flash snacked on a pack of melon flavoured ships he snacked from a table.

"She doesn't have a physical body, that is why she is relying on the pits of natural ectoplasm your dimension has. There was a little problem with her physical form and we just couldn't restore it and she refuses to get a unoccupied clone body like Klarion has." Danny explained further not minding the stares he or Klarion were getting.

"Pits of natural ectoplasm?" Batman reiterated, his tone clearly questioning, to which Danny only blinked a couple of times surprised. "I thought your dimension knew what they were? Sure the way you guys use them is strange and Lassie did sound a bit concerned when she told me about it but I didn't think you guys weren't aware what they were."

"No that is not...." Red Robin started but then but himself of as he turned around hurriedly in a defensive position as he noticed someone coming in through the window. He wasn't the only one. All the heroes reacted as one at the new presence, however what they didn't expect was a member of the League of Assassins blinking up at them stunned after climbing in through the window lifting their hands palm up in a gesture of peace.

"Woah hey there calm down! Klarion what the fuck? Why are there so many heroes in your Apartment?" The LoA member spoke up and all eyes turned to Klarion who instead only deadpanned. "I told you Mom was visiting to meet my 'friends'"

"Lassie, what did I tell you about possessing bodies?" The Ghost King piped up in a disapproving tone and they heard the distinctive tone of someone knocking their head against the table, probably Constantine.

"Sorry Mom but there are not Pits of ectoplasm near baby brother I could use to form a body." The LoA member, apparently possessed by Klarion's elder sister replied sheepishly. To say Red Robin was weirded out was an understatement. Usually if he encountered LoA members they were aggressive and most likely there to take him or one of his siblings out.

"That's an League of Assasin member...." He muttered under his breath to which said member laughed. "This guy was the closest to me to use for the moment. Don't worry I will release him later and he won't even remember a thing. I got my little sheep's well trained."

"Little sheep's?" Wonder Girl repeated a hand on her hip as she stared sceptically, to which Klarion face palmed and muttered a low "Sis shut up...."

"No Lassie, don't shut up." Danny intone from the kitchen table he was still sitting at with the other adults, his head was now resting on his hand as he stared at his two kids who visibly flinched.

The LoA member, possessed by Klarions sister, scratched the back of is head nervously as they faced the Ghost King. "Ah Mom, uhm hehe you know funny story..."

The heroes were pretty sure that the room had gotten several degrees colder and they weren't sure if that was because of the mood of a parent about to interrogate their child or because of the Ghost Kings power. (At a later time Constantine swore it were the Ghost Kings powers.) There was a awkward moment of silence the heroes weren't sure if they should be present for that or not especially when Danny stood up and walked over to the teens.

On reflex Wonder Girl, Superboy, Impulse and Red Robin made room for Danny to walk past them as they watched on torn between curiosity and pity, because clearly Klarion and his sister Lassie must have done something they weren't supposed to do. And honestly they were more curious what they did, after all the Ghost King hadn't been that faced when it got revealed that Klarion was more of a Villain than a Hero to them.

"Lassie, what did you do?" The teen heroes couldn't see Danny's face but from the tone they had a feeling that Danny was arching an eyebrow at his children.

Lassie laughed awkwardly once more. "So... you know how grandma Pandora kind of thought us about how our own emotion can influence those around us exposed to our ectoplasm over a long period of time?"

"Lassie..."

"I might have raised something akin to a cult on accident and passed on my personal grudge and hate towards the fruitloop along to them and they might now have the subconscious drill of attack on sight if Vlad ever makes an appearance in this dimension...." The LoA member slowly spoke up which had several of the adult heroes blinking in disbelief.

Batman especially was in shock of hearing about this since had the most interaction with this 'cult' as apparently one of the Ghost Kings children liked to call the League of Assassins. The bat suit wearing hero was about to interject and ask more but stopped when the Ghost King let out a suffering sigh like the most tired parent in existence. "And you didn't think about telling me this sooner because?"

"We don't like to disappoint you Mom." The two children of the Ghost King replied simultaneously like one united front. Danny in response gave his kids a light chuckle. But before Danny could go on any further Red Robin decided it was probably a good time to interject and remind the Ghost King of their presence.

"I got a question if you don't mind..." He lifted his hand like he was in school as he pulled the attention towards him. His curiosity won over his caution of the situation. "Klarion if the Lazarus Pits are actually 'ectoplasm' as you mentioned before, and are largely influenced by your sisters emotion. What happens to guy that bath regularly in them or someone that got thrown in there and game back out rage filled?"

"Red Robin!" Batman call out reprimanding instantly knowing where Red Robins line of question was going.

The possessed LoA member on the other hand blinked at them before scratching their head sheepishly. "I think I know who your talking about. I am still sorry about that second guy. When he got dunked into my ectoplasm, I kinda just came back from a visit home and had a bad fight with Vlad and was especially rage filled towards him."

"So does that mean...?" Red Robin inquired further ignoring Batman's silent glare towards him for even bringing these questions up and just as Lassie was about to answer Danny interjected.

"Lassie, go fix your cult." Another green note at materialised out of nowhere and had fluttered in the air before him and caused the Ghost King to face palm the moment he read it's context.

"Mom?" Both Klarion and Lassie asked with a shared worried glance.

"Vlad has come into the dimension for some reasons and is currently getting chased down by your cult."

There was a stunned silence after which Klarion and Lassie, in the body of the LoA member, broke out laughing hysterically which only caused Danny to lightly glare at his children. Meanwhile the teen heroes weren't sure if they should feel sorry for the old man called Vlad but considering all the red flags they had picked up from what Klarion told them, they felt a little like the man deserved that.

The adults on the other hand felt slightly torn, well mostly Batman. It was clear that this Vlad was a bigger threat than both Klarion and the Ghost King were making him out to be, considering the entire existence of the Lazarus Pits hated that man. But on the other hand as heroes they probably should feel obligated to help the man especially if, according to the Ghost Kings words, he was currently gotten chased in their dimension by the League of Assassins.

Danny on the other hand never felt more like a tired mother than he did right now. Sure he knew about his unofficial second oldest hatred towards Vlad but this certainly was a new level of hate. Especially since she apparently 'accidentally' (he doesn't by that at all) raised an entire cult that subconsciously hated him too.

— Thinking about how it’s nearly sunset when the team finally lands back at base. The mission had been easy comparatively speaking, as always, recon took the longest- and, like always, it was Johnny’s least favorite part. See, he hated the waiting, hated the twiddling his thumbs, hated the boredom of it all. Johnny liked to be moving, always, in whatever way he could be.

Idle hands lead to evil thoughts, or however the saying goes-

Sure, he had Ghost there, but he could only do so much with the dry humor and witty banter, not that the Lieutenant wasn’t good at it- in fact, Johnny really didn’t mind working with the broody man one bit.

Slowly, but surely, and certainly never to be admitted by Ghost, Johnny thinks he’s managed to break him down a bit. He was good like that though-

Never one to back down from a challenge.. Never.

"What can I get for you?”

Johnny had noticed the cute little bartender right away.

The bar itself was always the same when they were home, a local place overwhelmingly patronized by military folk due to its proximity to base, but she was an undoubtedly new face.

And he would know, but that’s neither here, nor there.

She was a sweet thing, with long, dark chocolatey hair that hung in perfect waves down her back, and the biggest brown eyes he thinks he’s ever seen-

“Scotch.” He says, a lopsided grin on his lips, “and bourbon, for the big guy.”

Without missing a beat, she huffs out a laugh, meeting Ghost’s eye for only a moment before returning her gaze to Johnny, “What? Big Guy can’t order his own drink?”

Oh, isn’t she trouble..

“Actually, I believe he prefers to be called-”

“That’ll do.” Simon barks out, rolling his eyes at the way the bartender giggles, her hands moving at the same time to pour to perfectly measured drinks-

“Would you like to open a tab?”

“Yeah,” Ghost speaks again, the crystal glass comically small in his hand, “Lover boy here will cover it, won’t ya, Johnny?”

He walks away before the Scot can give an answer, leaving the two behind to continue on with whatever this was. But, Johnny doesn’t have a problem with that- he’s almost grateful, as he digs in his back pocket, eyes never leaving hers. And even though he could blatantly see other people patiently waiting to have their orders, she doesn’t move,

“What’s your name?” Sweet Thing takes the card from between his fingers, and he doesn’t miss how her fingertips linger over his for just a moment longer than what would be necessary-

Such fucking trouble..

But, to his surprise, as soon as she has the card in the system, he watches her give almost the same exact treatment to the man standing to his left, and then the man next to him- though, her little giggle wasn’t nearly as warm with them. Or maybe that’s just his own hubris coming out. Either way, he turns on his heel, heading to the table where Simon and Gaz are already sat, chatting idly and sipping on drinks,

“Surprised you’re back already.” Ghost deadpans, casting Johnny a lazy side-eye.

And he hates to think that he’s a bit surprised, too, but- it’s not the first time he’s been knocked down a notch or two, and it won’t be the last,

“Ach- You’re real funny, LT. Y’know that?”

“Drinks, tonight?” Gaz asks with a cheery lilt, looking between the other three.

Ghost gives a noncommittal grunt, maybe a yes or maybe a no, maybe a something in between- they never know with him anyway. And Johnny isn’t sure how to answer, he doesn't exactly want to give away who he has waiting for him- doesn't want say what has his leg bouncing with anticipation, or a barely held back grin every time he looks at his phone now that they’re close enough to the ground to get a signal.

He's spoken of his bonnie lass as sparingly as possible, something deep down in him just needing to keep her to himself for as long as he can. Keep her away from this part of his life-

It’s their Captain that speaks up first,

“Not tonight, boys. Havin' dinner at home.”

"Say that again, Bonnie..”

It’s hard to form a coherent sentence, but she manages to moan out his name again, “Oh, fuck, Johnny.. Right there, baby.”

The back seat of Johnny’s truck had to be good enough tonight, he couldn’t wait a second fucking longer- which is how they ended up here, him stretched out on the seat as far as he could get, watching her bounce and grind on his cock, riding him like it’s the last thing she might ever do,

🔥CHARACTER REVIEW TIME🔥

(Can you tell that my portuguese teacher didn't come so I have 100 minutes without shit to do)

ANYWAYS, since I'm in the 4th episode I think it's a good time to see first impressions

MAIN CHARACTERS

CHARLES

I love him so much, like I was 10 minutes in and saying "I would die for you, I would kill for you, just ask and I'll do it"

Favourite character obviously

Wanna put him in a jar and protect him from everything bad in the world

He's brunette, has curls, is the sunshine character, has daddy issues and uses humour to cope so obviously he's also on the list of fictional crushes

Also something that I absolutely love about this show is that they pick this "stereotypical characters" and make them better.

Like, in this case the always happy character would have a ton of trauma but the show (or the characters, but that's a talk for another post) would not acknowledge this, they would show real depressed shit and then completely ignore it for the rest of the show.

Or just show it in the end of the series then kill him off.

But here they're letting people know from the beginning AND it's visible that the fact that he hides it is gonna be a major plot point in the show which makes me SO HAPPY

And in the loop scenes they made sure to focus on Charles face and reaction every. single. time.

Anways, I'm soo curious to learn more about his trauma and death and to see his character development

And he's so cute and trying so hard to make sure everyone likes him and lighten the mood and to not be a bother and to make everyone happy and I'm gonna cry

EDWIN

I also love him so goddamn much

He's also going in the jar, don't worry I'll protect you from everything

He's my baby (he was born more two hundred years before me and is my age BUT HE'S MY BABY)

Seriously someone needs to sit him down and say that everything is going to be ok (and get death the fuck away from him, my boy does not deserve hell, he deserves to be with his boyfriend best friend)

Also love this concept that everyone around him knows he's not straight, he knows that he's not straight but somehow he's still in the closet. Like, he never says he's straight, but he says to Niko that Mounty and him both boys, so one cannot be into the other and when Niko says that boys can like like each other he just turns the conversation around

I think they're writing that so well. It's subtle yet obvious, it's so good

Also, he's autistic, definitely in the spectrum. He obviously doesn't know because the first diagnosed case of autism was in 1943

And the dynamics that he has with everyone is SO GODDAMN GOOD

CRYSTAL

Someone give this girl an aspirin, a therapist and a bed

My girl cannot catch a break

One more in the protection jar, don't worry, I'll find your family for you, you need to rest

Overall great character, she's sassy, she's funny and she's the only emotional intelligent one

She's definitely gonna be the bridge for Edwin and Charles' romantically relationship

Like she's Miss "Edwin is acting weird because he's jeaulous of the sexual tension that we have, Charles" and Miss "Charles got stuck in the loop because he has strong feelings towards abusive fathers because he had one, Edwin"

Really love that we have someone to smack this idiots and say "You're in love with each other" because they are not gonna realise that by themselves

Also, DAVID GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE YOU. I'LL GET THE CROSS, I SWEAR I'LL DO IT.

NIKO

She's so cute, I wanna protect her from this cruel, cruel world

This means that I already have her in the jar, no one else is gonna get to her

At first I thought she was gonna be this really closed and introvert character that was gonna talk when absolutely necessary and was a bit emo. But like her hair her personality lightened up as soon as the parasites got out (she was sick it's normal that she was wuth a really depressed attutude but Bea's too focused on the story to remember how people act socially)

I really wanna hug her, I need to

Also love how eager she is to help and how she has nothing to do with the boys , she's a "cas closed" but even Edwin can't say no to her

I feel like her "almost dying" trauma is gonna be a bit underrated (although I see that they are not completely ignoring because of the 3rd episode where she felt like she couldn't deal with death since she almost met her the week before) but I want to believe the opposite because until now the show has not disappointed me in terms of traumas (or in other terms really)

SIDE CHARACTERS

ESTHER

I don't have much to say, I like her in the twisted "this is a fun villain" way

I'm really curious to know more about this Lilith and immortality thing

She did loose some points in my book with the whole torturing the crow thing

I am ✨️traumatised✨️

CAT KING

I'm so confused about his character

Like, he's a really fun character

And his outfits are great

But at the same time, get the fuck away from Edwin, in both the scenes with both of them I was so scared that he was going to the "no consent" zone

I do love that both the scenes where he's in he slays the outfit, tries to drag Edwin out the glass closet, fails, keeps him trapped so he can try to do this one more time and goes away

Like, he has one objective and one objective only and honestly, respect

JENNY

My patient queen

I have not much more to say

She accidentally adopted two really weird teenagers and regrets that so much

I respect her so much

As an older sister, if she snaps, grabs a knife and kills them both out of annoyance I would support it

ANTI THIS, ANTI THAT

I think it's funny how antis love to talk about how much eluciens dislike Elain and gwynriels dislike Azriel. And then go on about how they are so pro both of them. Even though ya'll want Elain to suffer an unaccepted mating bond she'll feel for the rest of her life and rot in the Night Court when it's been mentioned several times (by both her sisters) that she would love the Spring Court. You don't want Elain and Azriel to be with their mates even though that's the ultimate happily-ever after in Sarah's books.

Let me break it down for ya'll:🕺

Some elucien's doesn't like Azriel (not Elain)

They don't like the way he thinks of her and overall believes them to be a very bad match. Some have described his actions towards Mor and Elain as "incel behaviour" for the way he thinks and speaks for them, but none of them have said the same thing applies to the way he thinks and speaks to Gwyn and others. People saying: "I just want bby Lulu to be happy" can apply to him being happy single, with his mate, with Vassa, with anyone. That's a Lucien stan, not necessary an elucien. Ya'll don't want your faves to be happy?

Some gwynriel's doesn't like Elain (not Azriel)

Mostly because she has been very passive through-out the series and don't think she's a good match for Azriel. I've seen some calling her boring, but many are open to having their minds changed. Some doesn't care about Elain, which is fine, you don't have to. We have yet to see her fully shine and she's one of the few characters that we haven't gotten a pov from.

A LOT of e/riel's doesn't like Lucien nor Gwyn

Just because they don't like him and they think Azriel is hotter. I have yet to see a (good) reason why Elain and Lucien aren't a good match. People have called Lucien and Gwyn ugly (the gollum pic for instance - even though Lucien's described as handsome and Gwyn as beautiful - another day of antis ignoring canon), making fun of them for being gingers, making fun of Gwyn for working in the library and her, as well as Luciens, SA. Mocking Lucien for having to be carried because he can't fly. Calling Gwyn forgettable even though you talk about her every single day. Speaking for Gwyn (something antis preach about how we speak for Elain and how wrong it is. Even though they speak for her when they say she still wants Azriel yet she returned the necklace - a downright rejection) about how she should not want to have sex and especially not with the freak in the sheets Azriel. How convenient.. yet, canon begs to differ.

The great thing about shipping gwynriel and elucien is that you aren't anti anyone. You can call characters out for their behaviour, but you still want them to be happy and you still like them!

P.s! If it's racist to call out Azriel's entitlement over Elain then it's racist and ableist to speak badly of Lucien too. Also, I see you! You make fun of his disability all the time and it's not cute. Hope ya'll don't do that in real life. :D

P.s.s: You can't preach about feminism while making fun of other (fictional) women simply because they threaten your ship. This also applies to indirectly calling Nesta ugly by talking about how they had to dull Elain's beauty (by putting her in a black dress lol) when that's something you came up with. Nothing in the book supports your claim. Do you even listen to Elain? When she spoke about how Nesta, at the age of fourteen, was able to seduce a duke. And that was without Elain wearing black.

I think it's funny if every Voyager au has its own 'delta quadrant' and 'Maquis v Starfleet' circumstance that they're treating with the same level of seriousness and angst. Flight attendant Au but they're experiencing several long layovers and are from two competing airlines. High School Au but they're from different schools on a tense joint overnight trip.

Be prepared for a fair amount of Buffy analysis since I'm rewatching (I'll tag this 'btvs thoughts' if anyone wants to blacklist) and it's simply that few other Medias have ever had such a grip on my brain and to me is Most Analysable Series of all time. I have so many thoughts about it, so many intense mixed feelings about it, and for all its flaws (which honestly make it MORE worth thinking about imo. It's like a toxic relationship lol the highs are so high and the lows are so low) I just think there's nothing else like it. Even other whedon shows, firefly is good and I love it but not nearly as much, which tbh just proves to me that Joss Demon wasn't really the sole driving force behind Buffy's unmatched brilliance although obviously he was a major factor. anyway. Truly the most intense love-hate relationship I will ever experience

when I first started my job, I'd often overplay my emotional detachment to it because I had moved from a high-emotional/personal-involvement industry into a soulless corporate one.

and to, like, justify that decision and explain it to my high-emotional/personal-involvement peers from that old industry, I'd be like "lol I don't really care, you know? the job suits my skill set and I can do it, so it's all good:)"... but I've come to the realization that I actually really enjoy doing the labor of my job and it's weirdly hard to admit that!!

#I think it's because I enjoy the LABOR of my job and don't necessarily believe in the bigger corporate mumbo-jumbo #and also because [mumble mumble about transitioning from working in a pretty ethical industry to a..... not.... ethical one]#which is FUNNY because my calling was deeply NOT my previous industry in any way shape or form #but I could get behind the mission and did fundamentally believe we were doing ''good'' (if flawed) + deeply necessary work #whereas there is a LOT more ethical ambiguity in my new world #(+ some straight up ''oh dear that conflicts with my personal principles ohhhh'' moments lmao though they're high-level and way beyond me)#so it's in some way harder to feel GOOD about the work because it lacks the specific nature of my previous one #and it's like objectively less fulfilling even though it's improve my QoL a lot #which is its OWN issue because then it's like ''oh well I got mine! who cares if it involves EVIL LOBBYISTS!''#(which is like. babe you are so deeply not actually connected to that and just because a guzzling corp cuts your checks doesn't mean you're #responsible for literally anything they do. in fact KEEP taking their money!)#ANYWAYS I worked on a project all afternoon and had fun with it and felt pleased with my efforts so 👍#now I'm gonna go get ready to visit some coworkers from my previous job; we're gonna have a bad movie night and I'm bringing snacks :)

I totally, definitely, really want to dislike this song. I hate the way it's sung (are you Joan Jett? No? Then STAHP, PLEASE. I am actually saying Joan Jett could cover this well, btw, and also make it sound far, FAR more interesting than this), but the inspiration for it is so interesting, and dare I say it, the lyrics are the least bad on basically the whole album? I feel like it has substance that the rest of the album could not summon if you buried it in the dirt and poured water on it (and exposed it to sunshine, etc.).

I mean, is it just me, or is almost any song that a cishet white man writes about a woman from her point of view guaranteed to be more interesting than almost anything else he writes (seemingly ever)? I'd love for that not to be true, but I personally find that to be true a lot. And maybe that's why I can't fully permit myself to hate this song, as much as it bugs me (vocally, mostly, although musically I think it could be better, too - it sounds pretty disjointed), because it intrigues me more than it bugs me. I am definitely self-conscious about admitting that, though, but oh well.

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw

let's see we can list more of this! I draw birds and wings a decent amount and still every time I draw that I still have to look up one of those wing anatomy charts. I find I'm not well practiced with transparent materials yet, but I hope to get better at that in time. I'd like to get better at figuring out how to lay down a nature scene quickly too, I love to work with that in theory but in practice every time I draw that kind of background I had to stare at like eighty tabs of refs the whole way through. I'm such a city kid through and through...

I'm mostly blessed to not have to worry about hands and shoes too much, I usually have an okay time with them, but I do have days I call bad hand days and bad shoe days the way folks have bad hair days. sometimes even things I like drawing and usually have a good time with don't come out right! just gotta stand up and do something else for a bit

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what

absolutely! especially nowadays. I rotate between my current favourite albums and youtube videos/stream VODs. the most consistent caveat is I cannot listen to anything with a plot. that will distract me way too much to draw at the same time.

I also call my friends and hang out in vc while drawing sometimes! especially if I really need to get something done. this is honestly the only way to subject me to new medias I don't know about

13. A creator who you admire but whose work isn't your thing

ahh this is hard... I usually don't look too hard into things I don't actively care about. I guess I'd say the Phong Dương comic team, they're immensely talented people who practically carried Vietnamese comic on their back for a while, and I love Thành Phong's inking style, I just... can't read their comics. for some reasons. they just flow off the back of my skull! I still have all three volumes of Long Thần Tướng currently out on my shelf, but every time I try reading them they just don't stick. I'm honestly kinda mad abt this lol
