I think my soul is made of paper clippings and glitter and the apple pie my mum used to make and the sand from the beach when I was six and pride sticker I used to have on my laptop and I'm not sure what that means but it's really quite lovely being alive isn't it?

I know I am not a pretty little thing, I have sharp teeth and a temper and an unwillingness to listen and oh I have hurt people but isn't that the human nature? To hurt and try again and again to be better until maybe we can leave scratches instead of scars? There is a rage in me but there is even more love and I will stare at the sky and scream it over and over again.

I'd like to think that counts for something. I am young and I am learning how to live but there is glitter in my hair and paint on my fingers and laughter in my chest. I am young and I am remembering how to live, and that certainly counts for something.
