I am doing things I AM DOING THINGS I AM!

Explanations for designs and some head canons below here :3

Infected - Asian-American Autistic ADHD aroace (😈) trans. Yknow Wybie from Coraline? Yea like that but like incredibly annoying. His voice sounds like it’s coming from a shitty mic all the time

Lampert (design by @lucid-daydreaming-art )- Autistic 🇸🇪 ja aroace (😈) funny lamp guy Robots-esque probably kinda talks like baymax honestly, I mean a bit different but yknow, the general idea

(I talk about these 2 enough it’s the others turns)

Poob - I think they are a dumb little critter. They run around and their arms flail in the wind like paper. When they try to clap is makes dog toy squeaking sounds. I don’t think they abide by the rules of physics which is why they are stupid looking ❤️ they have hammer space but it is only for weed related items. The curator of the forever weed brownie, if you will. I think they sound like X from bfb. Aroace (😈)

Pest - literally hates poob because they are small and annoying. Uhhh funky legs because I think he would have funky legs. I stole his eyes because well no real reason, but I think if he was like extra pissed you would see his eyes. Since he is like thief maxxing I do not think he would be wearing anything beyond a hoodie and sweatpants, something trying to be non-assuming I guess. He has hair I think but it is very short no way would he want to deal with that. I don’t have a voice hc for him yet. Aroace (😈)

Bive - she a freakkkkk ehhh. I think she is like freakishly tall, has funny bird legs, raggedy ass scrawny tail, and is constantly covered in hair. Her teeth are kinda just floating on her hair head, so if you punched her hard enough they would just go flying out and she would have to put them back into her head silly girl. I think she is also trans hahaahhahahahaha!!! I think she kinda sounds like ENA from dream bbq, the uhh angry side I believe. Ace (😈)

Split - I gave her dog ears because I think they are cute :) she’s probably like normal ish height Bive is just weirdly tall. She looks very nice and friendly but could probably throw a boulder at you and you will die sowyyyy. Gods most chillaxxed soldier. She gives me kind older lady feelings, even if she weren’t older. I dunno she would be like one of those people who have a comically large purse full of hard candy except it would all be banana flavored. I think she has a slower voice, HAVENT gotten an exact idea for her voice yet but she seems very calm. Ace (😈)

Pilby - I didn’t really add or change their design because I already liked it a lot. I think they are very sweet and kind looking, would make a great plush too but I guess we are not ready to talk about that (YES I am still bitter about it) I think being around them is akin to looking outside a window at an apple orchard while it’s raining a bit. I think they sound a bit like raggedy Anne, based on the creators response too. Aroace (😈)

Spud! - I honestly did not have much come to me for his design, they are just a bit of a funky feller and im not sure how I would add to it honestly. Oh but I do think that they run like an ostrich and it is very scary. Also while drawing I was debating why he had a bow and decided that Gnarpy was like CONGRATZ IN ZURVIVING THE TEZTZ and now Spud! Just has a stupid little yuor did it ribbon. Honestly no clue for voice hc… aroace (😈)

Gnarpy - had a lot of fun with xis design honestly. The redesign reminded me a lot of Stitch so I kinda just shoved that into xim. I think they act a lot like Zim. Like a lot. Probably equally as stupid. I think xis second arms are retractable, like stitch, and xe uses that as a very very shitty disguise that everyone can see right through but just don’t mention because xe seems to be having a good time. I think xe sounds like Four from BFB (the earlier episodes mostly) aroace (😈)

DRRETRO - I think that her head that we see in the game is like a projection of herself, Wagstaff Don’t Starve style. Her body would be like excruciatingly normal besides her head, too. Like go to the hospital and see a nurse, that’s just what she looks like. Very normal, it’s a bit unnerving since her head is that. She’s like those overly friendly posters in a very uncomfortable place type of feeling. She doesn’t have fur either, she’s just a weird cat doctor thing. She acts exactly like Doctor Barber from Flapjack. No voice hc, but she speaks in meows so probably just meowing. Aroace (😈)

Mark - I started thinking about tf2 and Anton blast. Anyway, he is completely made from wood other than the clothes. Beard is carved in, not sure if I got that across in the drawing though. Uh yea I don’t have much I just really like engineer. He wears flannel and a construction vest just like any good law avoiding construction worker. Definitely does not so legal things on his construction sites but does not give two shits about that and also probably would try to employ Lampert when he was younger for free workers (no im not projecting what are you talking about). How on the nose would it be to say he sounds like engineer because I just drew wooden engineer with a beard. Ace (😈)

Wallter - sorry wallter fans I had no ideas while drawing him. I dunno he’s big and he’s cement, so I kept him blocky. Urrrrr he has a can of grey stuff jingle jingle. He is the cement embodiment of that one tweet that’s like “nothing better than a glass of wine, except for maybe #men. #yep #imgay! He kinda seems like one of those lowkey scary bald gay guys who are nice but are also scary and still bald. He’s bald. No idea on voice maybe concrete sliding on asphalt for 10 hours. Ace (😈)

MY DR.RABBIT AND VANNYYY

this was pretty silly to draw, and i can finally give some fun facts about his bunny suit

STARTING OFF WITH THE FIRST THING I WANTED;

depending on his emotion his pupils can change shape!: the 3 main ones i have right now are:

normal: neutral and his default expression

exclamation marks: shocked, surprised, an error or scared, this is only if those emotions are really strong and he is really caught off guard.

take the vanny ending for example when she’s about to get her ass disassembled, for Rab his pupils will be that shape because obviously..he’s scared and shocked.

3. Stars: he’s just being his trickster self or he’s just really happy, he’s usually like that when he hangs out with Vanny because hey, why not!

I am planning to add more later on but that’s what i’ve got so far :))

Just like his pupils can change shape they can also change color depending on the emotion, it’s randomized at times, but they consist more of blue’s and purple’s

yes the stars on his cheek are emphasizing him being called superstar in sb, im glad some people were able to catch that it made me really happy :,))

His eyes have thermal heat! but it only works if he’s in a really dark area, sure his eyes glow but they can only do so much…

He can receive calls or have a walkie talkie type system from inside his mask!! just a little tap on the side of his head and he can answer em or give a transmit a message ! (Vanny likes to spoil that use at times though, but he is not allowed to remove that feature from his mask.. (i made a silly doodle comic about it)

It’s common that when Rab’s pupils do change shape depending on his emotion there’s a lot of glitching, why? I kind of don’t know! i just thought it’d be pretty cool to add that as a small idea.

Rab’s bow was given to him by Vanny, he used his hoodie for a while on his first few days wearing the suit, but after a while he realized how dirty it can get when doing his new job, Vanny then gifted him the bow as a gift of close friendship!! (awweeee)

And that’s all i’ve really got for now!! i know i’ve got more somewhere in my brain but it is 12 am for me rn and i’m visión blurring woah hdhshahaha

Anyways, dunno if ya have done this before but ya got headcanons on Kinger's relationships with everyone on TADC?

Like, besties with someone in specific, we get along even if he doesn't know we get along, that kind of stuff.

Kinger Headcanons! With.. EVERYONE! (Im including the abstracted characters, they are so so silly in my brain rn and i have a strong perception of them)

Queenie:

- Queenie and him started out with a mutual.. dislike? Dislike from Queenies side, and general uncomfort from Kingers side.

- From the start their relationship was more so small bickering, mutual pining even, They both possess a sarcastic side to them, (I personally believe before Kinger went crazy that he used to be rather analytical and in control, a lot smarter yk.)

- They both were constantly compared for their likeness, which of course gave them a sense of need to.. prove themselves better? To stand out? Saw eachother as an obstacle until FINALLY they tried actually having a conversation.

- Their relationship dynamic is very much golden retriever x black cat.

- Once they actually were in a relationship, Queenie definitely keeps her sassy personality but she’s very soft spoken around Kinger.

- Kinger also changes, they act more differently around eachother than anyone else. Their general idea of “we are different” changes to “we are the only ones that truly understand one another”

- Oh they bickered SO MUCH it’s so silly, Queenie loves to tease, seem like she has a large ego but in private around just him she’s very very vulnerable and relies on him for comfort. She doesn’t feel like she needs to act a specific way around him or ever get really defensive.

- Kingers personality doesn’t change as much as Queenies does around people, however he does lean into feeling more vulnerable around her as well. He tries to seem calm and mostly friendly, but in private with just her he feels like he can actually rant and get emotional.

Wriggle:

- Kinger and Wriggle have a very funny dynamic, as Wriggle is Queenies “best friend is the whole wide world” (quoted by Wriggle, not Queenie)

-They often like to wriggle in between Kinger and Queenie, (hahaha look at me I’m so funny I love puns please don’t unfollow me) they are bit clingy towards Queenie which Kinger doesn’t particularly mind in the slightest.

- Putting Queenie aside, those two I’d say are good friends too. Wriggle loves to ramble on and on to Kinger about things they enjoy or made or did- the list is endless and it’s usually Kinger when it comes to this because atleast Kinger looks like he’s paying attention, whereas Queenie has that.. blank stare.. (autism, your honor)

- Think of Wriggle as a wingman also, They know Queenie well, and things she wouldn’t tell Kinger? Thats Wriggles job. For example, Queenie talks about how it’d be cute to receive flowers but doesn’t want to outright ask for them, Wriggle goes to Kinger and keeps jabbing him in the side with their tail until his attention is gained, and tells him “you know what you should do!!” you get what happens fr

- The wingman job was specifically asked of by Kinger, to which Wriggle, being the snooty little “hmmm idk if I like you enough” worm they are.. obviously decides not to share Queenies private words. (I’m still deciding if Kinger persuaded Wriggle into the idea that it’d make Queenie happier in the long run or if he just dropped to his knees like PLEASEPLEASEOLEAZEPLEASE-)

Slinky:

- Slinky and Kinger have a good relationship, they aren’t really friends that hang out on their own time, but if they are ever in a group then they’d interact.

- Slinky loves to knit and crochet, and she made a task to knit everyone a tiny plush to have. She gave Kinger a tiny stag beetle plush, and he adores it so much, it’s right on his bed. ☠️ (perhaps I could make another post listing all the plushies Slinky made for everyone but idkkk only if it’s inquired about)

- They are the two shyest? Of the whole group, not inherently shy but the most quiet unless spoken to and definitely most anxiety filled. They have an unspoken code of certain looks they give eachother that they can instantly understand.

- In Kingers full honesty, if he was given the chance to choose a person to be in his team for an adventure and Queenie was taken, he’d choose Slinky. She’s just a very patient individual and he thinks he goes well with someone like that.

Kaufmo:

- Their friendship is like trying to combine oil and water.. they don’t mix easily… They have respect for one another, an extent of it and Kinger probably has more than Kaufmo but they have very different conflicting personalities.

- Kaufmo is prickly and pessimistic most of the time, however I do want to think around Kinger he hold back a little. These two ended up being the last of the old cast, they’ve been through alot together…

- Kaufmo hates lovey dovey stuff, god forbid Kinger even rests a hand on Queenies side or something- he WILL point it out like a toddler grossed out by seeing their parents kiss.

- I think after Queenie abstracts it really changes. I want to assume that is when Kinger finally fully lost every marble he was hanging onto and Kaufmo.. well he realized how much he really missed those two together.

- Post Queenie, I think their relationship evolves from annoyance to much more understanding, not knowing eachother too personally as one would hope, given their circumstances but they would still go out of their way for a quick “are you okay?”

Peepo:

- Peepo is a super sweet guy, and I’d say he was a good acquaintance of Kingers just for the fact there wasn’t too many guys and they were both very friendly.

- Peepo was the first to arrive of this old group, so he was much like in Kingers place with the current crew. However he’s not crazy because this is likely to beginning of when people started to get trapped in the game still, and not too much time had even passed. Aka, more people were entering than abstracting most definitely.

- Anyway, to touch up on the above one, because of this he has a sort of natural leadership over everyone, people seem to seek him out on information about the world just because he’s been there the longest. This includes Kinger! To Peepo, if he needed a right hand man he actually really relied on Kinger.

- There’s a small place by the digital lake that no one knows about except Peepo. When the sun starts to set he almost always likes to just.. go outside the tent and walk to it, and the only person he ended up showing was Kinger. It became sort of a spot for just them to talk, which is likely what made them closer. Kinger later would use this exact spot to ask Queenie out…Jumping to canon, the only person who knows of the spot now is Kinger, and he often goes there to seclude himself.

Moppsy:

- Even though I put her here, I can’t really come up with anything! I use Moppsy as the first abstraction Kinger would witness, and likely didn’t really know her or have a relationship with her. Putting her here to include this though!

Pomni:

- Woo!! Og cast now!! I think Pomni and Kinger will get along well given time. While Kinger is certainly.. eclectic in his personality at this point in his stay in the circus, I think Pomni would be comfortable talking to him about things more than Jax or Zooble, who knows! Just based on what I know from the pilot.

- Kinger used to invite anyone and everyone into the pillow forts he made, but once majority of the old cast abstracted I’d assume he stopped completely, instead using it as his own safe haven. However, Pomni is the first one that he very awkwardly asks if she would like to come inside, which leads to him feeling more inclined and comfortable to invite the others.

- Kinger notices and thinks Pomni is very different than the others, anyone he’s known so far infact and he probably outright tells her this because he lacks the ability to really filter his thoughts anymore. She doesn’t quite understand the nonsense he babbles out about it, but in the series if Pomni finds the exit or changes the circus for the better or WHATEVER goes on as she’s the protagonist, I’m just gonna say Kinger had a gut feeling from the start.

- Pomni seems to care the most when Kinger wants to show someone a bug, and that can be left up to the interpretation that the others just got tired of him doing it all the time and Pomnis not used to it yet, or she genuinely just tries to nod along and it makes him very happy to get a response.

Ragatha:

- I think during the whole old cast abstracting and being replaced, if we look at the lineup of how everyone entered, I think Ragatha was the only one to actually know Queenie. Atleast see in person for a while, perhaps.

- I think those two would have gotten along SOOO well but!! This is about Kinger,, and I think Kinger and Ragatha also get along very well. She reminds him of Slinky…

- They both know they don’t talk or vent about their own problems at all, atleast anymore for Kinger. They are both bad at keeping it bottled up inside and while they both understand this about eachother, they don’t pry.

- If anything they have tea together often, and only they know alot about tea and really really enjoy it so it’s like their own bonding thing in a way.

- Ragatha came out to him first as a lesbian for some interesting strange reason, though if we follow my beloved trans Queenie hc I like to apply to things sometimes then she likely did it because she knows Kinger isn’t judgmental on lgbt topics.

Zooble:

- I enjoy thinking of Zooble as an angsty teenage child compared to Kingers senile old dad energy

- I think in Kingers eyes they seem to get along a little bit but he’s just a tad intimidated. In Zoobles eyes they wouldn’t let anyone know how much they really like Kinger, afterall he’s nothing but sweet when being spoken with. It’s a nice break from.. Jax or Caine, even the others who are very emotional. Yes they can be kind too, but it’s like you don’t have to try with Kinger because he’s so finicky that he doesn’t remember every detail of your interaction to judge you on it anymore.

- I like to think whenever Kinger needs help with something Zooble lets out a dramatic sigh and goes to help him (no one asked them to and anyone else could’ve volunteered but okay Zoob we know you just genuinely like his company)

- Zooble gave him a weighted blanket as a gift to include in his pillow forts once and he had a panic attack while under it once because he couldn’t move (he loves it so so much I promise)

- Again hhh Dad Daughter vibe I really enjoy it I think Queenie would’ve adored Zooble like a mother too plsplsplsolsolsols

Jax:

- Jax would call Kinger a boomer a lot and it stresses Kinger out so much because he doesn’t know what it means and when he asked Zooble to explain it to him they convinced him it was slur and so Kinger got Caine to censor the word boomer

- Kinger is like genuinely terrified of Jax and how much of a menace he is, he’s never known anyone that acts like this mf its insane

- Kinger does infact has some pet bugs in a large terrarium in his room and because Jax has keys to everyone’s rooms he with steal Kingers bugs (an example, the centipede he put in Ragathas room? Probably Kingers..)

- Kinger honestly tries his best to avoid Jax hhshs

Gangle:

- Kinger is probably the closest to Gangle of everyone in the current cast.

- Gangle likes to draw and write and ramble and everything to Kinger, even when she has her tragedy mask on, he seems to cheer her up a little just by hanging out near her. Kinger really enjoys it.

- When Gangle does have her happy mask on, it irks something inside Kinger. She really reminds him of Wriggle. And he was much closer to Wriggle than Slinky so.. it bothers him a bit unlike Ragatha being similar to Slinky in few ways.

- She introduced him to anime and while she has a giant ass list of ones she enjoys he’s.. just quite fixated on ghibli movies… he finds them neat.

- They are.. autism buddies.. More so it’s well aware with everyone that Kinger is diagnosed with Autism but Gangle isn’t diagnosed, and Kinger is the only one staring HARD like “hhh ik what you are” fr fr anyway because I hc them both as autistic that’s another reason they tend to group together and get along more.

going into small detail abt the ideas behind the comics below because im insane abt them vvv

they're actually very similar to each other so they may as we 🐝 connected/have the same situation lmao

first comic is leaning more on mic's. side

;After getting into the hotel, she's. absolutely miserable but keeps trying to pretend she's fine (she is not). Of course, Soap and the others notice her mood and one of them eventually get to talk to her about it. But even as she does open up, she never outs Taco. Ever. And blames it on the contest. Soap/Whoever confronted her knows it isn't true, but doesn't push further. After the talk, Mic basically just sits there and contemplates, before deciding """past is past""". Eventually, she starts thinking about the whole thing less, and she's smiling a lot more the next few days/weeks. Er. Until. That one night.

The second comic - or, in both comics - , here's Taco's side

There was actually gonna be more similar..things.. in both of the panels i put up above,, but i decided they'd look too similar to each other so Taco looks angrier in the second one

It all starts when Mic walks through the portal. Yeah. She didn't expect that. Taco's not someone to be caught off guard; her moves are calculated, and she knows the outcome of something even before it had a chance to start. She's memorized the puzzles and patterns on an object's mind, knows how to use it to her advantage - knows how to manipulate it into what she needs it to do. So why was it that she..?

She's teleported to their little spot, and her emotions are. overwhelming. At first, she feels.. sad. Distraught. Distraught that Mic left. Then, she feels.. angry. Angry at Mic for even leaving without any further word. Angry at Mic to have the AUDACITY to blame ..her. And she's angry.. at herself. Then, she's sad again. Her mind goes back to the words Microphone last spoke to her, and it stings, just as much as when she first heard them, if not more. She sits on the log -[soft thud]- oh, nevermind, she's on her knees in the soft grass, head in hands. She grips her shell tight and tries to shout, to let out the scream that's been trying to claw its way out of her throat, to get all of the overwhelming thoughts out of her head, but all she can manage is a choked sob, her throat tightening as she curled into herself.

And I'm only now realizing I'm getting WAY too carried away so fast forward everyone:

Taco thinks back on all the mistakes she's made, and back at one of her.. biggest mistakes yet. And, after a while, she decides she's done running, and she's not letting her slip from her grasp that easily. Not again. Not like him.

So, she writes, and writes, and writes, and writes. Until, after over fifty crumpled papers and about three half empty cups of - now cold - tea, she's finished. A letter to Microphone. She spilled her heart out on it, not leaving a single detail on everything she's done, opening herself up completely to the object never expected to break down years worth of built up walls. She's a little hesitant as she sends it to the hotel's mail, and then she waits.

She doesn't respond. Its not the first time. She takes a deep breath. No, she's not letting it faze her. She needs Mic to see she's being genuine. Why couldn't you be genuine from the start? When she most needed you to be?

She sends another letter, this time, directly into her room. She drops it through the little window, and she runs off before anyone notices her. A week passes. She doesn't respond again. She doesn't give up. She sends another letter, and another, and another, and another..

Two months has passed since then - has it really been that long? - And she's on the floor, miserable. The cracks have gotten worse and she can barely see with her right eye, she can barely stand, and her knees feel weak. Her head feels heavy, and her mind goes back to quiet picnics, white bowties and purples hues. And it just.. hurts. It hurts. It hurts, so much and she doesn't want it to. It hurts, and she's angry. Angry at herself for even considering to leave Microphone after they get the million. She's angry at herself for not paying attention to what may have caused the whole thing. Angry at herself slipping up the one good thing she had.

Did you ever have her?

She's angry at herself for being the reason Microphone left.

She feels lightheaded, yet her head feels heavy. And she's so, so tired.. she blacks out

The next thing she knows, she's on her way to ..hotel oj.

Uh oh

so um when I said "small detail" i may have.. lied HEJHSJQJZNNQJXN I WAS GENUINELY GOING TO JUST DESCRIBE MY IDEA FOR THE COMIC IM OSRRY I GOT CARRIED AWAY i had many things to say about tacoy

So hi! Yes, hello. I came up with Jimothy several years ago and was the one to submit the prior propaganda to the blog. These two have been in so many scenarios in my mind, y'all have no idea. They are so small. They are both mentor figures (more or less). They, uh, small. Even outside the ship dynamic, I can imagine them being amazing friends. KARKAT. so obviously all of the erisol stuff still holds true for this but somehow adding karkat to the mix makes it all so much more domestic? i think maybe it's because karkat has the NEED to take care of his friends and these two both need a lot of attention. it just all balances out so perfectly imo. and all of these characters have such interesting relationships with each other and it is all genuinely so sweet. and yet they're all such gripe-y whiney assholes so it's baffling that it SHOULD be as sweet as it is.

Monodeku au that takes place in a world where quirks are only a thing in comic books. Midoriya has a ton of hero merch still but then reads about batman and is like "I can do that" and sells his hero merch and becomes a vigilante. Monoma is the "villain" of the story but then its "enemies" to reluctant teammates to friends to lovers.

some excerpts/ideas from this au because I can't write but this au is all I think about so here are some small little bits about it :). ALSO! Mei and Shinsou would be there too because they are best friends.

-after becoming a vigilante Midoriya slowly becomes BEST FRIENDS with a few members of the police force (cough cough Eraserhead and Tsukauchi cough cough).

-Midoriya is absolutely LOADDDED which is how he gets away with everything and it's how he safely is a vigilante.

-Midoriya, before selling all of his comic merch, was a known collector in multiple groups. He had so much expensive and limited edition stuff. So, when he started to sell everything all the other collectors were like "dude??"

-How Mei met Midoriya: Midoriya was looking for places to buy body armor and commission custom pieces and such when he comes across some really sketch ad. He basically goes "fuck it we ball" and it turns out to be such a good idea and he makes one of his best friends.

-Midoriya and Shinsou introduction is:

Midoriya: [chilling on a roof looking over city]

Shinsou: Come here often?

Midoriya: OH SHIT [jumps off the roof like a startled cat]

Shinsou for the next few minutes: Oh fuck I just killed someone oh fuck oh fuck

Midoriya, climbing back up the building: IM ALIVE

then they become best friends because of the absurdity.

-the way Monoma gets introduced is: he puts on a silly little villain persona on Twitter to add some spice to the new vigilante's life. What he doesn't expect is the vigilante to start tweeting back at him. They argue back and forth for a bit. Obviously very joking on Midoriyas side, Monoma doesn't know that though. Then they meet up for a bit when they both have to run from the cops together because who knew being a public menace and vigilante was illegal.

The running from the cops really jumpstarts their friendship, which continues via Twitter and occasional meet-ups. Then they start subtly flirting on Twitter and everyone gets pissed at them for it.

-There would be no angst in this au because I cannot write it for the life of me. It's just Midoriyas silly little hijinks as a make-shift rich-ass vigilante with his newfound friends and father figures.

I have been thinking about this au for over three years I needed to get it out of my brain SOMEWHERE.

here Is a sort of draft to introduce one personality and a few small details about the characters.

Killing by choice is an upcoming comic where il be doing an idea by a friend: To make a game show. The only thing is, they said I'd probably be the HOST of such a show involved with litteral MURDER (how swell 😄). So, as the wonderful person I am, I have created a comic story about such a suggestion.

Story:

a group of Teenagers, who know nothing about eachother, decide to answer a spam email In their inboxes: A game show for a large cash prize.Each teen has a use for this money, but one in particular has their eye on it...This teen is known as Toby. He wants to move out of his homophobic household, and finally be himself. However, with his small paying job and spending habits, he never seems to make enough. He sees this as an opportunity. One at his immediate disposal. He decided to meet the group at the bus station, as states the email.... however things don't go as planned when their all drugged and kidnapped, forced to play a wheel of fortune inspired murder game, where the odds are slim.

Just to be a bit silly and to expirement with my characters a bit as I develop a polished version of the comic for you all. For now, this is what it will be: A small ask blog. I'd say this woukd be within the first month of them being on the show, which would be getting to know eachother and discovering a few secrets, aswell as meeting the host and diving inti the story headfirst so I can see how that goes. Alright rip ask also sorry if this had been asked but if you got to work on a rip one shot comic what would it be about also would you want to draw and write it or have someone else do it and who be it writing or the art

"One shot" is really interesting here I like that you said that bc yeah i have an overarching story for him in my mind but theres soooo much you can do with him in small peices and little stories.

I said before I like the idea of him being a narrator of those silly holiday books that right now harley is the main character of most. I think it just makes sense bc he sees over time.

I have in my mind fallen in love with the idea of like a "Romance through time" valentines special that includes him talking about iconic or lesser known romances through dc history and little stories (in the same idea of the Nuclear Winter special) that ends with him being like "but romance is too complicated and dangerous to worry about when you're a time master" or some shit then jeff walks in like are you ready for dinner yet 🙄. Something like that.

I also want the jeffrip wedding story but i will never get that so it exists in my MIND UGH.

I think I also like the idea of maybe a one shot of him behind the scenes trying to make sure the time sphere ends up in the museum for booster to steal.

This would be an older rip, so maybe in his 40s-50s when this happens and nonsense ensues because, of course, nothing is easy for him. I think maybe he runs into booster on accident . Etc. Also, Jeff is involved because, of course he is. I have no ideas where jeff isnt somehow included because they are a duo to me.

Honestly I cant really think of a writer i really trust with Rip because he isnt utilized by any. I have friends I'd trust but not professionals atm also im not the best at remembering writers anyways. As far as artists go i mean im not exactly a sequential artist so while in my dreams maybe id get to do art for a Rip story...i one day hope to see Joe Quinones draw Rip in a hopefully good design.

Hello so I’m going to be word vomiting in your ask box due to the beloved archive being down and I have thoughts tm about B team that weee caused by your drawings + others and also because you artist need to get an ask that is just a mega laser kung pow penis beam of love for what you create and I’m here to do that

B team look so friend-shaped! The way you draw them, with softer corners but keeping lines straight and the flat muted colors that are still bright and draws the eyes’ attention/greys which are layered in such a nice way

I also see the checkered orange-yellow blanket

ham is such a soft shade of pink which is easy on the eyes but is more vibrant than Peni and Noir (Morse obvious in noir and the contrasts between noir and ham is sooo good, opposite spectrums of color)

he’s more humanoid but he’s still cartoony and the way you draw him just fits so well with B team. A wonderful balance

Him and Peni together are just great, they’re probably incredibly chatty and Ham would get Peni more since he’s more in tuned with technology unlike noir’s old man soul

Peni having a round face in the artwork of B team napping together resonates with me, she looks so comfortable napping with her dads

also the doodles of ham and her brushing their teeth (or in ham’s case his eyes), her drinking out of her #1 daughter mug, and noir ruffling her hair :D the daughter and her two dads <3

noir! Dad and friend-shaped. Your rendition of him unmasked makes him so handsome and pretty, like he reminds me of the dad from my neighbors Totoro- except more worn out lol

The drawing you did of that fanfic where B team are chilling with Hobie and Noir listens to some of his music- that has been keeping me GOING through the blackout

he’s holding his hat next to his face and is one sentence away from hiding his face while ham is one moment looking at noir’s face from having his eyes turning into hearts

Im not really a writer that can put how much I adore the drawings into words that perfectly articulate every last thought I have but I hope I did pretty well and sound vaguely comprehensivable and that tumblr didn’t say something was wrong with send- god I had to rewrite this thing once already-

I have NEVER had someone inspect my art or at least told me they have so thanks! I am currently freaking the fuck out and going crazy actually, I have like five messages to my friend freaking out about this ask, and I WILL be rereading this every minute of the day

I have a lot of drawings of them all that will never see the light of day, mostly since they’re warmup drawings and I’m still figuring out how to draw them all consistently but I’m having fun. I mostly based ham off of how he looks in in comics since I love how silly he looks in them and also taking inspiration off of other artists who draw him.

Now here’s the fun part about that exact napping post you’re talking about, that post almost never got made. Like I completely abandoned the idea at first since I didn’t like the first sketch I made of it and almost discarded the idea a couple more times during the process of making it since I had a different idea in my head of what it was supposed to be. Even when i was done with it I was thinking of just not posting it since I didn’t completely like it myself, but now here we are with it being my most popular post. I like the drawing now since I pretty sure I was just staring at it for too long

AND THAT FIC DRAWING- WIZARD MAKES GREAT FICS! I keep rereading them and I will probably go back and read them AGAIN once archive is up and running, I have ideas for some of their fics to draw out but nothing concrete yet

oh god oh fuck! well first if you wanna see em, i have a lot of art of them over on @realjem-art and ive been (very slowly) setting up a toyhouse for them (i think ive only added maybe ~half my characters there so far whoopsies)

im gonna put the rest of this under a readmore cause i have no idea how long i'm gonna make this

so i have like... a lot of characters now. i've been building up a bunch of characters and a sliiight story (for some of them at least) since about early 2021, where i made my first actual characters: Ann, Trixie, Scarlett, and Cinnamon

yes i know i've got very generic names for my characters, i don't have the brains for cool names like some people do dgshgdgas

i think my character count is at 56 of them, not including any versions of my sona, because i don't consider that a character, but more of a vessel on what i feel or would want to look like in real life (or just a silly design sometimes)

It sort of shifts around from time to time which characters sort of lodge in my brain the most at a time, for example, at the very beginning, i was definitely showing favoritism towards trixie, and then after i redesigned scarlett a bit, she's been my favorite for a while. there's random bursts where a few of them front for a while, but it typically defaults to scarlett and lumie

lately, i've been drawing a lot of the group i call Halloween Bargain Bin, because they're silly and i really want to flesh them out and their group dynamic a lot more. i've recently plopped a new character into their group (by recently i mean just a few days ago (as of posting this) actually!

as the case is for most of the guys in hbb, a lot of my earlier characters (basically a lot of them made bewteen 2021-2022) were based off of/referenced songs i like. but, because i do want them to feel like more of my own creation, i have been starting to drift a lot of them from their source inspiration, with a few pretty much entirely being divorced from their original inspiration (such as Ann, who was originally a character for Amnesia Was Her Name, which i then couldn't write a story for her well, and now she's just the owner of a lab chock full of creatures, which i just like a lot more)

my characters kinda sort into groups, some small and some way larger, and im just gonna list off all the ones i can think of right now: Ann's Lab, Halloween Bargain Bin, the group of four people that i still don't have a name for (Lilac, Kasey, Fia, Tay), the poly catgirls (Ari, Stella, Savannah), and all the creatures currently within Ann's lab, which is a long list and im not naming them all here (ex: zed, goliath, etc)

because a good chunk of my time is being taken up by school, a lot of my drawings of them right now just look like this:

(^ lumie) since i can access a digital whiteboard on my school computer, where i just draw on that throughout the week, send the link to myself, and then screenshot everything over the weekend

but i do still save time occasionally for actual drawings, such as this one that i still really like

(^ ezekiel, one of my newest characters!) Lately, a lot of the actual drawings have been in this painterly style (procreate, gouache brush)

a lot of character development lately is just me drawing shitposts, small comics that are mostly just jokes but help me try and flesh out their personality a bit

(^ scarlett & lumie, stan and mason) Just quick doodles of stuff i thought was funny and wanted to make real

I do suppose this ask was about my actually talking about my characters, as, well, characters, but i am still bad at that. i will attempt? to talk about a few now?

^ Lumie!! she was made around the start of july 2021 (my first artfight run!) she's my main non-human character pretty much, since her actual story has her in the same role as the humans in AL, as opposed to the monsters. Character design-wise, the most important details are that: she has no eyes, it's just smooth skin where eyes would be on a human, she's larger than an average human (Scarlett is 6'1" where Lumie is 7'4", not much much taller but still), and she glows. she's fuckin bio luminescent! light blue glowing "freckles" break out across her whole body, and her dark hair has the same light blue glow from the bottom up! it's sort of emotionally controlled, so if she were real upset, she'd barely be glowing, and if she were real happy, she'd be bight as hell. As for story, hers is intertwined with Scarlett. essentially they met when they were 9, were best friends, scarlett had to move and you cant just take your bestie/other-dimensional girl you found in a cave along with you if you havent even told anyone about her, and then scarlett finally drove all the way back to hopefully meet her again. now they are girlfriends and work in AL, where scarlett works on "conspiracies" in the meantime

Trixie is another AL member, being the first to find the lab and start working for Ann. Trixie was supposed to just be a janitor or something, but being 17 and stupid, wandered into places where she wasn't supposed to go, and basically got mauled to death by one of the monsters. Ann finds her body a couple hours later and freaks out, but thankfully, being in a lab full of monsters and machines, there is some sort of experimental revival doohicky or whatever, and Trixie is brought back. Her body isn't all physically there sometimes, and it's changed in small, unnatural ways, but besides that she's mostly fine. Not including the fact that she's practically a zombie and she's stuck as a 17 year old. She can't really go anywhere else now, and she claims her life sucked ass before the lab, so she just stays and researches the monsters with Ann now.

These three (Scarlett, Lumie, Trixie) are the ones with the most semblance of a story so far, so it's easier to talk about them, lol

OKay, this is getting really, really long, and its probably already a pain to read (if anyone did read through all of this, which in that case thank you?) so im gonna leave this for now, but you are always welcome to ask about specific characters, or my favorite, you can ask me to talk about my characters in the sense of how they've changed over the past couple of years (in art, story, design, etc)

08. Whats an old project idea you've lost interest in? There are so so many </3 Most recently: I was going to combine my (small) knowledge of gamedev and art skills and make a short, silly, dating sim for KHR. Like something super short, just so I could flex that muscle before I forget how those things work - on the technical side I had it all figured out, even with some more sparkle than your average fangame, then I would just need art and... oh god writing. I forgot that I'd rather peel my skin off with a spoon than do actual writing. Especially dialogue. And I dont think im very good at making characters be in-character using words. So im putting it on the backburner untill i have the cashmoney to commission someone for it \o/ And most notably: back in the day when deviantart was still more of a thing I had a wholeass webcomic with my OCs. But then I did like a few pages and lost interest because it was taking too long and I was doing art for work so it kinda burnt me out also my silly ass did *not* write more than 10 pages in advance.

I do still want to make more comic-ish stuff, but I think I'll stick to fandom things for now. Easier on the brain </3 26. Whats a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended? I cant think of a more recent example rn, but back in 2015ish my art teacher thought my sketch was 'sooo cryptic and mysterious' because I drew my emo ass OC and wrote the words 'm3m3' next to it as in, you kow, meme, because that was a funny word at the time. so. ehehem. this is a little bit of a surprise actually but im kind of sort of maybe JUST maybe...

...planning a zombie apocalypse webcomic? (OOPS)

its nothing solid yet and its nothing confirmed! it was just a little plot bunny that emerged from one wacky and long conversation i had w a few ppl in the collidisc and got me SOOO obsessed that i decided to take the leap and try my hand at making a comic series!

the fella i just posted earlier is a 17 year old special-infected 'zombie' named 'Perch' ! they're a silly little guy and one of the main characters of my planned webcomic — along with their two besties whos names i cannot yet reveal 👁 perch is a teenager who was caught in a mall right as the zombie apocalypse hit and was swept up into a rag-tag group of teenagers who share one thing in common:

gifted kid burnout syndrome

together, this group of suspiciously talented teenage proteges learn to survive the world after its zombification, while also maybe healing along the way.

perch themself is a very happy go lucky and mischievous kid, often being the one in the group who makes the most jokes and lightens the mood with a prank or two whenever the going gets tough. however, perch is also a teen with an extreme martyr complex, so one day an incident occurs that changes them forever when they get run over by a large horde of zombies.

surprisingly not dead, perch learns that they are actually 'immune' to the zombie virus and thus did not lose their life despite being swamped. unlike most "immune characters" in zombie media however, perch does NOT gain any special powers or superhuman abilities. no super healing ability, no strength, not even not getting attacked by other zombies! they still get chased by zoms' that havent already tried biting them, and thus explains all the bitemark scars they have all over their body.

using their newfound immunity from zombie bites and knowing that they are one of the only people in their survivalist group that do not have a certain chance of death every time they go out alone, perch becomes one of the main scouts and fighters of the small group.

if you think giving one of the most self sacrificial and wreckless members of a group a special power that allows them to throw themselves into even RISKIER situations is a bad idea...

well. you'd be right!

Hdjsks Recently, i slipped while walking home with some pals and scrapped my knee. It wasnt too bad, but it sure looked bad lmao If you can could you do HCs for the boys reacting to MC slipping and scrapping there knee while walking w them? The Brothers with an MC who fell and scraped their knee:

Lucifer:

-It was a miracle you managed to convince him to come out on a walk with you at all

-The man doesn’t know when to take a break from his work

-He’s more likely to accept if it’s you asking tho, he has an obvious soft spot for you

-The others call him a suck up behind his back because of it

-You were so happy that you managed to pry Lucifer away from his desk, you were basically skipping alongside him

-Long story short, you tripped over your own two feet and fell

-Luckily, your knees and palms were the only things that got a bit scruffy

-Well, actually your right knee looked as if someone tried removing your entire knee cap with a scalpel, skin and all but adrenaline was kicking in and you couldn’t feel much

-You’ve never seen Lucifer freeze the way he did then

-His mind just drew a blank

-You were about to shrug it off and call it a day, get up and continue your walk but daddy Lucifer can’t have that

-He has six younger brothers (and a younger sister at some point) he is pretty experienced when it comes to treating injuries

-You aren’t walking for the rest of the day, let me make this clear

-He will carry you back to the House of Lamentation no matter how much you protest

-In case it wasn’t obvious already, Lucifer gives off massive dad vibes and now he’s bandaging your leg while you’re laying down on his bed

-While the rest of the brothers watch the two of you from behind the door frame because they are all equally worried

-Get ready for the three hour lecture coming your way

-He’s pissed and amused at the same time tbh

-Silly human, falling over like that and hurting themselves

-Lord Diavolo forbid you try to get out of that bed, he will drag you back and make sure you stay there until your knee is better (kinky)

Mammon:

-He was on his merry way to the casino to blow off all of Lucifer’s money and you tagged along solely for the purpose of making sure he didn’t spend all of Lucifer’s money

-You’d both be done for if he did

-But I guess fate really had it out for you on that day since your foot slipped on....something and you tripped

-Both of your knees looked bloody and damaged as hell but you were more irritated than anything

-Mammon on the other hand did a fucking double take and almost passed out

-He screeched his lungs out

-One look at your injured knees and he was ready to drag you all the way to the human realm on foot to find you a doctor

-“MC ARE YOU OK WHY THE FUCK IS THERE SO MUCH BLOO-HOLY SHIT STAY STILL DON’T MOVE! THE GREAT MAMMON WILL FIX THIS...SOMEHOW.”

-It was very dramatic, he cried

-You stood up to prove that you were alright because you thought he was going to have a seizure soon enough

-OK, that helped him calm down a little

-At least now he knew your legs weren’t about to get torn off and you weren’t on the verge of death

-Fuck the casino, you were going home

-Like Lucifer, don’t expect you will walk home by yourself

-He will carry you, a bit embarrassed by his initial freak out but still eyeing your wound, concerned

-As soon as you get home and the other brothers help you out because he’s shit at bandaging, he just sits in his own pool of misery and guilt

-Your poor knees wouldn’t be so jacked up if you hadn’t come along with him today

-He was so determined to make it up to you, he stayed by your bedside like a loyal puppy with a wagging tail (flashback to the animal event)

-Overall, he almost went into cardiac arrest and was too panicked to realise you were fine

-You thought he was smothering and overprotective before? Good luck for the rest of the week

Levi:

-“See, this is why I don’t like going out. There’s always some normie laying on the groun- OH MY LORD DIAVOLO, MC IS THAT YOU?? ARE YOU OK?”

-HIS HENRY ALMOST DIED ON THE NEWLY POLISHED FLOOR OF AN ANIME CONVENTION, HE HAS VERY MIXED EMOTIONS

-You fell knees first and hurt them quiet badly but you could stand, even if the pain made you twitch a little

-This confused Levi because you looked fine even though your knees certainly didn’t

-You told him you felt alright and it wasn’t that big of a deal and he absolutely rolled with it

-But you guys still went home after that

-He said it was because you bled all over your cosplay but that’s just him being a tsundere

-Levi is usually very shy when it comes to physical contact but he firmly insisted that he help you walk home

-I mean, he knows you said you were feeling OK and maybe humans just have a lot of tolerance for injuries like that

-But he still felt it was necessary that he took you home and checked out your injuries

-He kept the mood light while disinfecting you’re wound with some help from Satan by talking about how the convention went

-High low-key relieved seeing you walk around like normal two minutes after that

-He started bitching to you about how you made him miss his the event but he didn’t mean any of it

-“Stupid normie, making me miss my favourite Ruri-chan event. You’re lucky I love you and think you’re cute....did I just say that out loud??”

Satan:

-Oh dear, why would you go out for a walk in the middle of a rainstorm? What were you thinking?

-Actually, it was Satan’s idea

-He may be a demon and the prince of Wrath no less, but he is such a sappy, cheesy bastard at times

-He definitely thinks that walking and kissing in the rain is very romantic (bet he read something like that in an erotica)

-You know what’s not romantic blondie? Slipping on a very small puddle and potentially fracturing your leg

-It was just a scraped knee but you were frustrated enough to be extra

-He’s helping you up before you even have the chance to realise you fell in the first place

-Your knee was looking pretty bad so you guys went home just to avoid any further casualties

-He’s actually chuckling all the way back while you playfully glare at him because how dare he laugh at your misery?

-Date night was ruined but at least he got to take care of you

-He knew your knee must have hurt and he felt bad but he couldn’t help but giggle a bit to himself because your fall was so comical

-Ah but he does enjoy fussing over you for the rest of the night a bit too much

Asmo:

-You thought Mammon was melodramatic?

-Take a look at this fucking guy

-He actually screeches even louder than his brother and probably falls to his knees too (but not really because those pants were expensive)

-His screams definitely got the attention of at least 10 random passerbyers

-He’s actually on the verge of crying

-I mean, can you blame him?? Look at your beautiful knees!! They were ruined

-He felt so bad for you, he actually babied the hell out of you that day

-“Asmo, it’s fine. It’s just a scrap.”

-“A SCRAP, MC IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR KNEE IS ABOUT TO FALL OFF YOUR POOR SKIN-“

-It was just a scrap but Asmo’s secret talent is being extra as fuck

-He totally spilled all the tea to the rest of the brothers when he got home

-And then he ushered you into his room

-Funnily enough, he’s pretty good with injuries. Not as much as Satan and Lucifer but still

-He pampered you for the next few hours but that image of your skin being all grazed like that will forever haunt him

-How can you not be so bothered by it?? He’d die if he was in your place

-I love Asmo just because of how dramatic he is

Beel:

-Your shoelaces were undone and of course that meant a fun little trip to the floor of Hell’s Kitchen

-Beel didn’t notice you fell at first, he was concentrating on his food and assumed you were next to him

-But then he realised that you weren’t and for a moment he thought you disappeared or something

-Before he turned to find you laying on the floor, curled up because life was pain and you were suffering

-“Are you OK? Or are you just tired? Belphie does that a lot when he’s tired.” Or depressed one might say

-But for real, he’s good at identifying serious wounds and less serious wounds since he’s an athlete

-He can tell your knees were bleeding way more than they should have from just a simple scrap

-He slinged you over his shoulder and carried you, calmly, back home, with a burger still in his hand

-He’s actually really collective and talked to you while cleaning up your injury to take your mind off the pain

-He knows humans are a little more fragile than demons so even though he knows it’s not a big deal, he can’t help but worry

-It’s kinda hard falling around him tho because chances are, he will actually catch you even if he happens to hold something

-He’s sad if you’re sad so please don’t cry he will bandage your scraped knee do you want the last bit of his burger to make you feel better?

-Comfort hugs afterwards!

-Which is awesome because Beel gives out best hugs :)

Belphie:

-Ah yes, another beautiful day at RAD

-Walking alongside with your grumpy and sleepy boyfriend when a random demon bumps into you

-Wel not bumps, more like shoves you so hard you fall down and tear the fabric of your pants

-While the dude shrugs it off and speeds away

-You were a bit pissed off because rude

-But Belphie was fucking fuming

-He felt so offended on your part

-I mean, the nerve of him

-He was tired as shit but he wanted to chase after him and throw hands, possibly fill his pillow with rocks and hit him over the head with it

-He forced himself to focus on you first before hunting the moron down

-He was a bit concerned when he didn’t see you come back up after you fell

-Turns out, you scraped your knee pretty horribly and now you were bleeding all over the floor

-He’s even more quiet than usual as he helps you up and half carries you to your next class

-He starts taking care of your knee in the middle of DevilDom history he doesn’t give a flying fuck

-He’s still furious by the time he gets home and most of his brothers know to leave him be when he makes that scary ass face

-No talk to him

-He angy

-“Does your knee still hurt?”

-“A bit but it’s not-“

-“Come nap with me.”

-“Why?”

-“Naps shall cure your pain.”

-“...”

-“Nah but for real come take a nap with me.”

-Next day at school, the dude from yesterday walks by him and Belphie smashes his head against the wall

-Before walking away as if nothing happened

-I stan protective Belphie
