car problem solved.

unfortunately, the interest rate is gross. it was recommended to me to refinance when rates go back down, probably after the election season kicks in.

also it turns out that i was really uncomfortable in anything except what i had before, so i ended up getting another 2016 CR-V. this one is a gray-brown and so far the only difference i've seen is a single button that's not there. i don't even remember what it was. but it's nice. i like it. i told joel about it. he's probably happy that i have a new car.

i'm gonna go to the car yard tomorrow to see illie one last time. (i don't want to call it a junkyard. i dunno why. it just hurts to say it.) i'm gonna see if my phone mount is still there and then take my plates and frames back with me. the trunk stuff cover too.

i miss illie.

i guess i'm just sad.

it feels silly. but i just can't help from crying every time i think about it. i guess it's because she was the first thing i could say she was mine about. and i got her and joel on the same day, which was important to me, too. and what is it now? the 26th of december. the day after christmas. nothing special there.

I'm not going to say anything about the "parked" sequels of Fantastic Beasts. Just post sad Newt to describe my mood. That's it.

I can't stop thinking about how once Chain of Thorns is out, this might be the last time we'll see Will Herondale?? Like he might appear in a few more short stories or bits like sobh, but once Chain of Thorns is done that's kind of our last connection with Will and the other mortal tid characters... gone?? Like we're unlikely to see him in a full book or series ever again

Now, Eddie’s not expecting a midnight kiss, it hasn’t even crossed his mind, he honestly forgot people do that on New Year’s. But then he sees Buck’s gaze drop to his lips and back to his eyes. He swallows hard, having to remind himself to breathe. He hears everyone else yell ‘two’. Buck leans in, still tentatively. When he hears ‘one’, he moves towards Buck, too. Everyone yells “Happy New Year,” but Buck and Eddie whisper it to each other, smiles on their faces, when their lips meet. Eddie forgets that they’re putting on an act – because are they? In front of who? No one is even looking their way right now. Well, he can let himself spiral about it later, but in the moment, he allows himself to enjoy it for just a second.

It’s different from that kiss on Christmas, that was basically just a peck. This time, though? This time Buck’s lips are parted as he leans in, and when their lips meet, he gently pulls at Eddie’s lower lip. Eddie opens his mouth invitingly, deepening the kiss instantly, his eyes falling shut. Buck responds in turn, and Eddie thinks he can feel him smiling. They’re actually, properly kissing, and Eddie’s brain completely shuts off, and it feels like there are fireworks going off in his stomach as well as in the sky. It doesn’t last long, but it’s thrilling and intense, while still sweet and gentle, and just so delicious. Eddie can’t believe he gets to know what Buck’s mouth tastes like… and he hates that he even thinks about it. It’s so wrong, he’s his best friend, they’re just pretending to be in love. He can’t let this crush become anything else.

In the hotel lobby, when Waan tells Wiew WinTeam are a couple and want to sleep together, the *** appears in the English subs for the words "Nong Kwai" aka Little/Younger Water Buffalo aka "idiot little brother". See Ep 10 clarifications below for more kwai tales.

At the dinner table, after Win puts food on Team's plate and asks him to eat up so he can grow more, Team's subs show "Hia, I'm a grown up already", but it's more of "Hia, I can only grow this much" - that's why Win follows with "(this much) is just right then - easier to carry".
