Actor Toshio Shiba, who played Silver Kamen's civilian identity, Koji Kasuga, assists the crew with dressing HIS alter ego, Silver Kamen, played by stuntman Hisashi Kato.
Back in the day on most Asian film and television productions, especially in Japan, EVERYONE - including actors - helped out behind the scenes; none of this "I'll be in my trailer" crap.
Part of that, I imagine, is due to the more communal culture in Japan, emphasizing teamwork. The other part is that it was a necessity given the break-neck speed films and television shows were filmed.
Kato-san would be the suit actor playing Iron King the following year, which probably saved the producers some money on costuming. You see, Iron King wore the exact same helmet as Silver Kamen, so they already knew it fit Kato-san.

Toshiro Mifune and Tatsuya Nakadai in Samurai Rebellion (Masaki Kobayashi, 1967)
Cast: Toshiro Mifune, Yoko Tsukasa, Go Kato, Tatsuyoshi Ehara, Etsuko Ichihara, Isao Yamagata, Tatsuya Nakadai. Screenplay: Shinobu Hashimoto, based on a story by Yasuhiko Takiguchi. Cinematography: Kazuo Yamada. Production design: Yoshiro Muraki. Film editing: Hisashi Sagara. Music: Toru Takemitsu.
Like his Harakiri (1962), Masaki Kobayashi's Samurai Rebellion has a theatrical, almost Shakespearean quality and is sharply critical of the samurai code of honor. Toshiro Mifune plays Isaburo, a samurai whose son Yogoro (Go Kato) is ordered to marry the concubine Ichi (Yoko Tsukasa) of the daimyo of the clan he serves. Yogoro is reluctant, partly because Ichi has a son by the daimyo, but eventually they fall in love. Unfortunately, the daimyo's older son dies, making Ichi's child the heir, and she is ordered to return to his household. The ensuing rebellion against the daimyo's order proves calamitous to everyone. Beautifully committed performances heighten the story's tragic drive. The film's English title was apparently designed to persuade Western audiences that they were going to see a conventional samurai film, whereas it's really a story about the heroic self-sacrifice of Ichi, giving a feminist spin to the genre.

Adekan Stage Play 2 (2017)
11/? Japanese Stage watched in 2018
And if possible (and worth it) please support the production with buying the DVD
You thought the first one was sex, this has even more nudity, moaning, touching, kissing (poor Kato) and characters you just love. Although some of the story lines felt rushed the main arc had comedy, tragedy and heart felt moments. Kudos to everyone involved, Adekan is not an easy play because of the content but once again Keito and Shun bought to life these characters.

2017.12.14 Adekan 2 [Review]
I was so excited to go and see this! I was surprised how small the theatre ended up being! I thought 12th row would be like the middle of the threat but turned out to be the second to last row! But even though it was a smaller venue, the boys felt so much closer to us! The stage everything felt really close which is gooood!

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: If you thought the last one was nose-bleedy and sexy enough, WAIT until you see this one! Oh my! I don’t remember the first one having THIS much nakedness, this much implied sex, this many kisses nor these many moans! It was so bad! Seriously, we girls in the audience.. some people DID squeal because some parts really did get you hot and sweaty. BUT past all the sexiness, there’s actually a really good story and a heart-touching one too; we all ended up crying by the end of it! I was weeping like a baby by the end. This was a lot of fun, very sexy, but also has a real solid story. I really have no qualms or complaints about this one ^_^ Rating: 8/10
*
SPOILER REVIEW
Where do I start with this.... the story I guess? I’m a little fuzzy on the details but I’ll try my best:
STORY
There has been a series of people being killed and decapitated near a run-down community. Shiro goes to investigate and discovers it’s a community of ex-convicts or simply people who want to escape their past. The owner of the community accepts everyone and anyone, and makes it a rule that people don’t pry in others business when it’s not wanted; he’s not interested in what they did or might have done so long as everyone is good; everyone deserves a second chance, is the life lesson he’s living by. And of course his brother Anri gets involved a long the way and part of Shiro’s past comes up.
DONE! Without getting into all the spoils >.<
Now for the real spoils!
So Anri goes undercover to find out what’s happening at the community as well as Mutsukuchi experimenting on people and turning them into abominations; one also being the culprit who's taking people and decapitating them because they have the desire to eat human flesh. During one of the fights, Shiro gets seriously injured but luckily an old friend (Sakura) and his comrade (Akito) turn up to help him - they too have come to Shiro for help.
But it turns out Sakura just wanted to manipulate and take Shiro's power; when he turns on Shiro and tries to cut off his arm, Anri is too late to help but ends up using his power in order to save Shiro's life. It's implied that Anri's body has gone back to that of a child in order to help save Shiro, but it's never revealed or confirmed.
I'll leave the rest to surprise you.
Tumblr media
The ending is what makes it though; the old man of the community, Yugami, had taken Anri in and taken a liking to him, but after he learns that Anri was just manipulating and using him, he starts to doubt his life and feels like leaving because so many in the community see him as this god-like leader. There is one character who is a super old man, who goes to visit Yugami every day to show him his flower, and at the end of this scene while Yugami is having his real down moment and yelling 'I am not a god! What do these people want from me! It's better if I die! Kill me! Kill me! There is no point in me living any more! Kill me!!!' the old man just walks on stage and finally, his flower has bloomed (this is where I started balling!) and he had come to show him but he over hears all these. When Yugami realises the old man heard everything, he's distraught, but the old man tells him that he wanted to show him the flower everyday, it doesn't matter what he did, he gave the old man a new way of life so now it's time for him to give Yugami meaning in his life too. I am not doing this scene justice at all because it's just heartbreaking and heartwarming all in about the space of 5 minutes. It's one of my favourite scenes from the stage.
Tumblr media
Other favourite scenes would be:
This also relates to my favourite character which is DEFINITELY Wakabayashi, the Mousou King. He is absolutely hilarious! He essentially daydreams about having sex with Shiro all day, but because it's only in his head and his imagtination, he claims he isn't gay xD he is absolutly hilarious and kudos to Keito because during Wakabayashi's first scene Keito is literally naked on stage bar a metal disk that he's holding to cover his private area. And then Wakabayashi gets behind him and starts thrusting and the doors close as Shiro starts seriously moaning. It was a very raunchy scene! And then another scene with Wakabayashi is actually a higawari/daily-change scene when he meets Sakura and suddenly he's like 'Oohhh Yamada and Sakura together?!'. The day I went he gave three commands; The first was that Yamada puts his head on Sakura's lap, and the second; turn the other way so his face is in Sakura's crotch and grope his chest, to which Sakura started moaning, and the final command; to nozzle their noses. He left them to do it for like a good minute and Yamada was like 'can we stop now? Can we stop?!' and Wakabayashi was like 'nah, I'm good. Keep going ...................................................................................................................................................................................................................... okay that's enough' I'm pretty sure the actors hated him after xD I know Murata wrote on his blog that he was embarrassed and is always worried every show for that scene because he doesn't know what Wakabayashi is going to say >.<
Tumblr media
Another scene I loved was with Tachibana. Just after Anri infiltrates and gets in with the community leader, Anri is left in his room and he opens the side wall and BAM Tachibana had been eaves dropping. He tries to get through the small square in the wall but really struggles. Eventually he does. On his way out he struggles again and ends up going back through butt first xD
Another great scene is when Mutsukuchi is telling off Anri but he doesn't want to deal with responsibility. She tells him to get out and he says something like 'okay I'll go and strip!' and goes down the aisle and starts taking his kimono/cloak off. BUT before that scene, Anri enters from the right side door and approaches a girl on the either and tells her to touch him, and to touch him more but Mutsukuchi turns up and tells him to stop xD
However, one scene that really hurt my heart though is towards the end; I really liked Sakura and Akito, even when Sakura turned on Shiro, I still liked him (blame it on the actor-biasness). BUT THEN(!!!!) he turns on Akito and kills him!! He tells him that they were never friends, that all he even did was manipulate him into doing Sakura's bidding! But after Akito is dead, Sakura says 'the last part (he said he hated him) was a lie'. But you can't completely blame Sakura because in ANOTHER scene, we see him stripped of his upper clothing and is getting whipped to crap by his dad! So clearly there's abuse and mental issues there with Sakura -- I hope Shiro can save him in the next stage. But I am SO upset Sakura killed Akito! I wanted more gayness and adventures with them two! They were a great pair =[ I was so shocked at him betraying Akito.
Tumblr media
Going back to the sexy things that happened: There were so many kisses! There were some between Anri and Akito. Another between Anri and Mutsukuchi which shocked everyone and especially after the kiss where he so softly saying 'I really do like you'.
Now to character/acting points:
Of course Keito did a great job as Shiro! He definitely went all out this time! It takes guts to go all out naked on stage with nothing but a metal disk covering your parts, and he did look do a few times to make sure he was completely covered! Of course, the fight scenes he was in were great too! In fact all the fact scenes were great!
Tumblr media
I really liked how this time Yamada has trouble trusting Shiro and vice-versa and it creates a distance between them. Yamada really struggles and he has a moment where he's like 'Am I even Shiro's friend?! I don't even know anything about him!' but luckily they finally meet up again towards the end and it's a beautiful moment of 'yes these two were always friends. How could they not be!' ^_^
Speaking of fight scenes; there's one moment where he's fighting against Sakura and he does his signature 'crotch in the face' pin down xD Poor Murata >.< it was fabulous haha Also I'm now super interested if he really meant it to Mutsukuchi when he said he liked her. Because it was a proper kiss and everyone went silent in shock and the way he said he liked her sounded so serious and true.
Tumblr media
I really liked Murata in this and his character! Naturally, I appreciated the shirtless whipping scene even though it sounded super duper painful. Also the fact that his weapon is a damn whip!! OH YEAH!! xD But still(!) he's freaking switch-a-ro and betraying his friend was a huge shocker1 But damn he better be back in the third stage!! And I freaking LOVE his outfit! And fighting in THOSE heels?! DAMN! xD
Tumblr media
Also Kato did a great job as Akito too! I am so upset we won't be coming back though -- or at least it seems like it! I really, really liked his and Sakura's relationship. Also the fight scene where he just kept getting kissed was hilarious too!
I have nothing else left to say except GIVE ME A SECOND LIVE AND/OR A THIRD STAGE ASAP PLEASE!!!

Screenplay: Hisashi Yamanouchi, Gisashi Yamauchi, based on a novel by Kazu Otsuka. Cinematography: Shinsaku Himeda. Art direction: Kimihiko Nakamura. Film editing: Mutsuo Tanji. Music: Toshiro Mayuzumi.
It seems to be common in critiques of Shohei Imamura's work to contrast him with his mentor, Yasujiro Ozu. The world of Ozu's films is that of the settled middle class families, with their marriageable daughters and salarymen breadwinners, filmed in the stately, low camera angle style that almost immediately identifies Ozu's work. Imamura's films are full of low-lifes, people struggling to get along by any means necessary, with flamboyant camerawork, such as the spectacularly crowded widescreen compositions in Pigs and Battleships. A contrast of Ozu and Imamura is rather like a contrast of Jane Austen and Charles Dickens: Both do things with radically different means, the one with a raucous, satiric assortment of colorful characters, the other with a quiet, ironic examination of manners and mores. But both Ozu and Imamura share something: an admiration for strong women. In the case of Pigs and Battleships, it's Haruko (Jitsuko Yoshimura), struggling to find herself in the hurlyburly of Yokosuka, the port city infested with American sailors. She has had the misfortune to fall in love with the goofball Kinta, who wants to make his name as a yakuza, getting involved with the gang's pig-raising scheme. Hiroyuki Nagato gives a hilariously loosey-goosey performance as Kinta, mugging like Jerry Lewis when he really wants to be Humphrey Bogart. It's not entirely clear what Haruko really sees in Kinta, but the performance of the two actors together is highly entertaining. Although the film plays mostly for comedy, culminating in the destruction of much of the red-light district by a stampede of pigs, it features several murders and the rape of Haruko by three American sailors, with the result that it's dominated by a kind of Swiftian satiric tone.

aiko bon “Profile Interview” Chapter 6 (1/3)
Tumblr media
My DJ days to my debut: In order to sing professionally
aiko opened the doors to a professional career as an artist, all while living a full life as a DJ. Though she still felt very passionate about singing, multiple challenges awaited her.
(Thank you parasmichael for the commission!)
ーDid you start up your music activities in earnest once you graduated from junior college with the hopes of becoming a professional?
aiko: Yeah, I wrote songs and did concerts.
ーWere you solo then? Or were you in a band?
aiko: I was never in any bands after graduating. I did everything solo. My friends helped out when I held concerts, though.
ーDid you have any part-time jobs?
aiko: Yes. I had a part-time job as a DJ that I’d had since I was in music school. I kept working there even after I graduated.
ーWhat got you started as a radio DJ?
aiko: There was this producer from FM OSAKA who came to see me every now and then when I was in the “Teens Music Festival”. He gave me his business card back  then. I got a phone call from him about half a year later where he invited me to go get a coffee with him. I went; I was totally stoked. “We’re doing an audition for our radio program,” he told me when I got there. “Why don’t you try out?” I panicked at that but then we got to talking, and he was like, “Go on, just try and chit-chat.” There was an actual DJ thereーthey were doing an audition to find someone to pair him up with. That DJ was this super professional, amazing guy named Yaguchi Kiyoharu. For my audition, I put on “Primal” by ORIGINAL LOVE and did a track-by-track introduction. Every time I talked, the studio standing outside the window would chuckle.
ーDid you say something funny?
aiko: Nah, I don’t remember saying anything funny at all. I was a total amateurーso I guess that must’ve been kinda funny. (laughs) I had zero clue what a radio DJ was supposed to be like and it was my very first radio audition. Not to mention, I never went to school for that. I was just talking as myself. The next day, I got a phone call saying they decided to put me on the program. The only thing I managed to say was, “WHAT!?”
ーYou’ve loved and listened to the radio since you were a little kid though. Maybe you were an ‘amateur’, but I’m sure you must’ve picked up on some key points.
aiko: Maybe you’re right… I really did listen to the radio a lot. As a kid, it didn’t matter if I was super duper playful and bubbly at school. When I got home I’d hole myself up in my room and listen to the radio. Sometimes I thought about the things I’d do if I were a DJ while I listened along. I also used to leave these really long messages on my friends’ answering machines of me talking like I was a DJ. I even added commercials in the middleーI’d go, “Chara Cha-chara, Cha-cha-cha!” like a commercial jingle. (laughs)
ーSo what kind of radio show did you do for your celebration-worthy first job as a DJ?
aiko: It was a music program called “Count Down Kansai TOP40” that ran on Mondays from 3 to 5 AM. I introduced top 40 songs on that week’s charts, and between songs I’d read postcards from my listeners or talk about artist information. Basically, an abbreviated version of another show that played on different weekday from 12 to 8 PM about the top 100. I had originally auditioned to be the assistant for the super long 12-8 PM program, but since I did such a great job chatting them up, they thought I’d be a better fit for the late-night sister program.
ーBut I’m sure you must’ve felt like there was a lot of pressure on you having to talk all by yourself as a brand new DJ, didn’t you?
aiko: It was really tough at first. We recorded ahead of time during the very beginning, but that was hard too. They’d get mad but I had no idea what they were mad at me for, although I do now. I’d just talk in circles, and sometimes I’d do that one thing no DJ is ever supposed to do: say, “Uhh… Uhh…” (laughs wryly) So at the beginning, I would cry because I was upset the entire time, and then I’d go home.
ーDid you ever have guests on the show?
aiko: Yes I did. The show just kept changing and changing, so before long we started having guests on the show. We recorded the guest segments every week in the afternoon because our show aired so late at night, so quite a few different people joined us. My very first guests were Kato Hisashi and Rolly from 21st Century Stars. I was super nervous because I used to really love THE COLLECTORS, though. Oh, and Eguchi Yosuke, and Chii (Moritaka Chisato). But separately because this was before they got married, of course. (laughs) We also had Nakatani Miki right after she’d debuted, GLAY, and Bonnie Pink. Oh, and Yuzuーthey really gave our conversation an honest effort. I thought Yagucchan (Yaguchi Mari) from Momusu was cute in the purest sense of the word, too.
ーDid you also go by “aiko” when you were a DJ?
aiko: Yeah, written in English letters like it is now. I can’t remember if it was all uppercase or lowercase though. I’ve never tried to come up with another name, I just thought I’d keep using ‘aiko’ forever. When I was on the radio I’d always say, “This is your DJ aiko. Thanks for tuning in.” I carried personal business cards for the radio station that said “FM OSAKA aiko Count Down Kansai TOP40” with me pretty much all the time, which I was constantly trading with promoters. (laughs)
ーDid you find it interesting to listen to your guests talk as the interviewer?
aiko: I did sometimes, but… well… Most of the time I found myself thinking, “Wow, they’re a nice person” whenever I met somebody instead of, “That’s interesting.” There were also a lot other things that I found difficult about it. Like, I would accidentally end up talking about myself. The people coming on the show are artists, right? I wanted to be a singer too, so I’d start talking about the things I did because I wanted to be a singer. Oftentimes there’d be these sobering moments where they’d say, “Enough talking about yourself, get your guest to talk.” Some people talked about things that had a lasting impact on me though, like right around the time I’d written an indies release and said, “Recording is always a blast!” Hamazaki Takashi (formerly of Flying Kids) said, “It gets to be tough after your 3rd release, so you’d better prepare yourself. It’s tough. This is the only time it’ll be fun for you.” I was like, “What, seriously!?” I was so dismayed when he said that. I still enjoy recording to this day. If I ever see him again, I’d like to tell him that I still have fun recording. (laughs) So yeah, I had all kinds of people on the show. I learned a lot.
ーI’m sure it wasn’t all fun and games, though. Was it ever just a big pain?
aiko: Oh, pleeeenty of times. (laughs) It got to be pretty exhausting when everyone was in the middle of promoting something. My schedule would get so crazy; some people didn’t even talk. (laughs) That was pretty rough. I thought I’d just be talking about singles and albums. I think you get your point across with magazines because only so much of it makes it into print. There’s like… room to breathe, you know? You can talk about dumb stuff, but there’s also space to talk about music. And you can re-read it as needed.
ーYou can’t really do that with radio though, can you?
aiko: Right. If you’ve got 10 minutes on air, then you either do or don’t leave an impression on the people listening during those 10 minutes. “Wow, there’s this one phrase in the chorus of the 3rd song that’s really great!” You can say that, but it’s hard for the people listening to the radio to understand. If I had to describe it, I’d say the concept was for the guests to have a little bit of fun, forget all about promoting for a moment and talk about something dumb, and play a good amount of music.
ーA balance between moderately laid-back, and moderately musical.
aiko: Yeah, yeah. It depends on the artist, but there were definitely people who wanted to make sure we talked. Some people looked at the cue sheets I made and say, “Mind if we change this? Do you mind asking me about the concept behind my album here?” That’s fine for all the die-hard fans, but it doesn’t hold much weight for all the new people tuning in, you  know? They wanna hear you talk about normal and familiar stuff. That’s why I think it’s important to go from talking about that to, “Why don’t we listen to your CD?”
ーThat’s true. You have no idea exactly who’s listening.
aiko: That’s why I’m pretty no-nonsense and honest when I give my thoughts on an album I’ve heard. Let’s say I had someone who played music on the show. I’d say, “You know, I really get the feeling you were pretty violent and rowdy making this album compared to your previous ones.” Thenーcome to find outーthey think that’s a good thing! “That’s interesting. You nailed it,” they tell me. Our talk ends up turning into something totally different from the usual, something even their fans didn’t expect. Occasionally that would get people talking even though they wouldn’t normally talk much. Of course, some people won’t talk either way. That used to made me cry. (laughs) Every now and then you get funny people who ignore everything during the talk segment and just talk your ear off, though.
ーDid you ever get really nervous because you had an artist you really liked on the show as a guest?
aiko: Oh yes. I was when I had Kato from The Collectors as a guest. And most definitely with KAN. I felt something end inside of me when KAN came on the show as a guest. I thought for a moment there, “Oh man, my life is over.” I turned into such a wuss.
ーYou liked him so much that it got in the way of being a DJ?
aiko: I just couldn’t do it. Honestly, at first it didn’t matter who it wasーpart of me felt like it was really presumptuous of me to interject with my opinion about someone’s music. Things that are good aren’t  just ‘good’, you know? Radio is one of those things where you’ve gotta have something you wanna say, though, so I try to say something. I’m the kind of person who gets more and more long-winded the more I try to get something across. I was so incredibly nervous that I kind of wanted them to send me home. In fact, I was so nervous that I still remember the clothes I was wearingーI was wearing a flared gingham check skirt, a MILK blouse, and some Vivian boots… My nervousness was through the roof. I thought I was gonna die. (laughs)
ーWere you able to talk to KAN like you did with all your other guests?
aiko: Yeah, I was. I couldn’t handle it though. KAN is one of those people who could talk about anything you throw his way. The whole time I was thinking to myself, “What was I thinking about just now? Oh god, what do I do?” I’d be fine doing it now, though. ...No wait, I’m just saying that because he’s not here. I bet I’d still probably be totally hopeless if I were to meet him again now. (laughs)
ーDid KAN ever come back as a guest after that?
aiko: He was a guest on the show about 4 times. I was also introduced to him in his dressing room when I went to his concert once. We talked a little bit then. He had me on his television show once as well. I’ve met him about 10 times now but I still act exactly the same as when I met him for the first time. I can’t bring myself to say hi, I can’t tell jokes. I’m just like, “Oh, excuse me, excuse me, yes, yes.” I think KAN already knows just how fundamentally lame I can be sometimes, though. I think he sort of forgives me for being so flustered and silent the first time we met.
ーI bet you listened to all kinds of music while you were DJ-ing!
aiko: I did! Up until that point I only listened to what I liked. But then I started listening to the “TOP40” every week and also made sure to listen to my guests’ new releases.
ーHow long did you end up doing the radio show before your debut?
aiko: I started doing “Count Down Kansai TOP 40” and “Poppin' Tengoku MUSIC Stadium” when I was in junior college. “Young Young MUSIC MAX” started just a little bit before I released my indies album “astral box”. It was the sister show to a radio program that had both musicians and comedians on it called “Young Town”. I introduced music on that program too, but I also had a guest segment, a jokes segment, and a segment called “aiko’s Path to OSJ Hall!”.
ーWas it like an “I’ve got my eyes on Osakajo Hall!” kind of thing, or?
aiko: Yeah, exactly. “What should aiko do to sing at Osakajo Hall? I’m gonna work hard until I get there!” I was just sort of a running joke at first. Then they actually said I could sing in this event called the “Young Town Festival”. When I sang “DO YOU THINK ABOUT ME?” at Osakajo Hall, the faces of all the staff members from when I did the “Path to OSJ Hall!” segment came to mind. And I remembered what people wrote on the postcards they sent in. I remember thinking, “Wow, I actually stood on stage at Osakajo Hall!!!” I was in a huge hurry right before the event started thoughーI was like, “Oh my god, I’m gonna be late!”
ーYou were late to your big moment?
aiko: Yeah. I was so nervous I accidentally overslept. So then I called my dad in tears: “Dad, what do I do now!?” He decided to pick me up in his car but we were in SUCH a hurry and I was feeling so hopeless, I just wailed in the car. “Don’t cry! This is all your fault!” my dad said. And I was like, “...Okay.” Even though I ended up being an hour late, they were still just rehearsing so everything was fine in the end. I honestly had no idea what I would’ve done, though. That’s the absolute only time I’ve ever been late before or after. The other blessing in disguise was that I’d made sure to prepare the clothes I was gonna wear at the event the night beforeーan orange T-shirt and navy blue sweatpants. That orange T-shirt was the same one I wore in the music video for “Naki Mushi”. (laughs) I didn’t have a stylist back then, so I wore clothes over and over again.

Vegalta Sendai: Nedeljko Stojisic, Takumi Mase, Hisashi Appiah Tawiah, Simao Mate, Koji Hachisuka, Shogo Nakahara, Yoshiki Matsushita, Takumi Sasaki, Chihiro Kato, Quenten Martinus, Yusuke Minagawa.
Cerezo Osaka: Kim Jin Hyeon, Riku Matsuda, Dankler Luiz de Souza Pereira, Tiago Pagnussat, Yusuke Maruhashi, Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, Hiroaki Okuno, Naoyuki Fujita, Hiroshi Kiyotake, Yuta Toyokawa, Mutsuki Kato.
Vegalta Sendai 1-0 Cerezo Osaka
