Ayumi Hamasaki released her latest digital single "BYE-BYE" for her 26th anniversary on April 8th! The song composed by Kunio Tago is now streaming on Spotify and Apple Music internationally.
The song has two music videos. One, directed by long-time collaborator Hideaki Sunaga, stars Ayu and is available in full on Youtube. The other is a unique animated short by Mana Inoue from RIBBON and is airing throughout the month of April as part of NHK's みんなのうた (Minna no uta). A preview is currently on NHK's Youtube channel.

Ayu will be the cover girl on both the standard and extra issues of 美ST's June issue. Ayu first grazed the cover of the magazine back in August of 2023 when promoting her collaboration with Rhythm cosmetics, a sample of which will be included in the extra issue.
The issues will hit newstands on April 17th.

Ayumi Hamasaki's "BYE-BYE" PV is out now on Youtube! Digital single will roll out on streaming services at midnight the morning of the 8th, local time.
The single and video are dropping to correspond with Ayu's 26th anniversary in the industry. Her official site has also announced a new lineup of cozy goods featuring a special logo commemorating the anniversary of her debut single.

The official page for the song has updated with a preview of the song and RIBBON-animated video.
Ayu formally announced a new song called “BYE-BYE” that will premiere as part of NHK’s Minna no Uta programming! The song is composed by Kunio Tago (“Zutto…” and “Days”) and will feature animation on the program by Mana Inoue from the RIBBON creative team. As usual, the lyrics are written by Ayu, and described as having a nursery-rhyme-like quality in the write-up. The short will be broadcast throughout April and May.

This thus-far-nameless new song is in addition to her cover Miyuki Nakajima’s "Jidai" for the TV Asahi drama, Banpaku no Taiyou, and "BYE-BYE," which will run throughout April as part of NHK’s Minna no Uta.
