Okay look, usually I get so very hyped for a new album and listen it through once or twice on release day, so believe me when I say that this one hits so good I’ve already racked up over 100 scrobbles and that’s with last.fm messing up and not counting my midnight release listening session.

It’s experimental in all the right places, still has the Waterparks sound we’ve all come to know and love but just developed through and Waterparks is starting to quickly get on Enter Shikari’s level of being able to experiment with genres in every single song and make it work.

Besides the genre-fuckery I also really love how Awsten writes about his struggles with mental health, gaining fame and dealing with fandom. The latter is especially interesting since a lot of artists have alluded to it, whether by carefully chosen words or metaphors (Stephen King’s Misery is a good example and also explicitly referenced in Violet!), but Awsten just goes in and dissects it exquisitely without mincing words.

This is my review of the album (that literally nobody asked for but whatevs)

1. Intro: Persona

Listen this song will never not slap. Namjoons aggressive rapping over that catchy hiphop beat and the guitar riff it's a big yes from me. 10/10

2. Boy with Love

Yesss the version on the album has a lot more Halsey yay me likey. Listen I will shake my butt to this song until the day I die. It's so upbeat and really puts me into a good mood 10/10

3. Mikrokosmos

I can sense this being the new closing song for the stadium tour. It kind of gives of this "let's sing our hearts out together one last time before we have to bit our goodbyes". I love the lyrics as well as the melody of the song. I was very moved by it. 10/10

4. Make It Right

I didn't really love the melody with all of my heart, however I am a big fan of the vocal arrangement as well as the raplines verses. The lyrics are beautiful. I would say a good 9/10 because I didn't really LOVE the melody

5. HOME

I love how they incorporated some Spanish as well we stan multilingual kings! The lyrics once again made me tear up like why do their songs always have such beautiful lyrics I-. Uff I loved it, I'm not the biggest fan of the melody I don't know why, but wow I can see myself listening to it when I'm driving around in my car, a real bop 9/10

6. Jamais Vu

The rapline literally slapped, the vocal line killed it and I literally lost it when I heard Seokjins adlibs like my soul left my body holy hell. I also love the rock elements they included in the song 10/10

So as a conclusion BTS paved the way and saved the music industry once again. I stan talented kings. The album is so good 100/10

THE FUCKERY ON MONDAY PT3 The process of the hospital was a nightmare process to say the least so much I decided not to write about It because the annoying things they did one after the other was too much to write down for me mentaly and repedively.
