Sorry if you‘ve been asked this before, but since we know you‘re fav lmk characters, I was wondering what you‘re favorite duos and trios were?

And/or however many characters you wanna group together. Just in general, the character dynamics you find neat!

(My guess is that MK and Mei are somewhere on the top of the list- if not THE top)

One of my favorite things about lmk (of which there are many lol), is that you could throw two darts, and whatever two characters the darts land on are bound to have an interesting dynamic.

One of my favorite episodes is the Sandy and Huntsman episode (2x08), Tang and Macaque also have an intriguing conflict in 3x08, and Pigsy and Chang'e (3x07) have such a heartfelt shared passion that you can't help but enjoy their on screen time together.

I'm someone who wants a sort of Ne Zha and Yellowtusk "we reluctantly work together" arc, where even though Yellowtusk may have helped nearly bring the world to it's destruction, he ultimately helped save it, and he also happens to know a thing or too about keeping the Jade Emperor's power contained. I think it'd really fit in with lmk's "past mistakes vs making the right choices now" theme—in all honesty Yellowtusk has already paid his time with an eternity spent in the scroll—and now he can truly help make a better world. I think it'd be a neat way to keep him involved in the story, give Ne Zha someone to bounce off of (they both view power as sacred and a huge responsibility, unlike Wukong for example who is much more flippant with power), and would give some juicy drama ("You would betray your brothers?") between Peng and Yellowtusk later down the line.

Though anon you're 100% right, MK and Mei are at the top of my favorite dynamic list lol (They're whole motivation is to protect each other out of 100% platonic love. Obsessed with them). I'm also really partial for the MK, Mei, and Sandy trio that pops up here and there (1x03, 1x04, 3x04, 3x06). Traffic light trio is a treat, and the sunburst duo has my heart forever and always (I love seeing the way MK and Wukong's relationship has developed over the course of the show, both for the better and worse). Pigsy and Tang are always a delight (thank you 1x04, 2x03, 2x04, 3x05, 4x04, and specifically the line "Sometimes it's that little bit of char that makes for a more flavorful meat! Even if it is a bit tangy."), they're definitely at the top of my list. Obviously I like shadowpeach, and shadowpeach + MK (ooooo the monkeys are such delicious/tragic foils oooo), and I think Mei and Wukong have a really interesting dynamic (Wukong seeing Ao Lie in Mei, Mei viewing Wukong as someone who has hurt MK). Wukong and Azure's dynamic is also super interesting (Azure with his unrequited crush and heartbreak), so is LBD and MK's (could talk forever about these two), however I'll cut this off here since I could probably go on for a long while about this specific topic.

What of it?#lmk writers are fucking masters at giving the most characterization with the least amount of screen time #And I'd say they mainly do that through parallels/foils/themes but I'm no expert #You can just usually put together a lot of who a character is and their arc based off how they interact with what's been established #I have a long rant about Pigsy's arc rattling around in my brain that I want to write out at some point #I will say this though: Pigsy being a man of tradition/family (2x04 - 3x07) and then giving him qualms with his family in s4 is. *muah*#Like. So I have a headcanon that some places in outworld or just some places in the mk universe have celebrations like rio carnival- with the outfits and dancers- so hear me out- earth realm boys going to outworld for the tournament and there’s a celebration for the tournament going on and reader is the dancer- she’s all dressed up in what they wear ((which is really revealing but also absolutely stunning)) and sings heavenly. The song what is love gave by Janelle Monàe gave me this though- you should totally listen to you.

you sit in the dressing room, mussing your hair and making sure it looked perfect for the event, and you apply a final layer of gloss on your lips

you inspect your appearance one more time, standing up to smooth down the dresses in your costume that barely covers your chest and rides up your thighs everytime you walk

but you don’t mind, and you wink at yourself in the mirror to give yourself a bit of confidence before exiting the dress room and wait by the sides of the stage

you can see everyone in there, Empress Sindel and her daughters, General Shao and his loyal dog Reiko, everyone which you’ve sang for before

but this time, you see the Earthrealmers, and you stare at them with wide eyes from between the curtains

they’re quite interesting, dressed different compared to everyone in the room, and it fascinates you

you’ve already seen Liu Kang many many times for different tournaments, and the god spots you peeking through the curtains and gives you a small nod

you smile in response before disappearing behind the curtains to wait for your cue to get up on stage and perform

you hear the music start to play, and you come from behind the curtains and present yourself, hands tracing up your body and lifting the material slightly

you take a few deep breaths and listen for the musical cue and start to sing, sweeping your eyes over the people in the banquet hall before settling your gaze on the Earthrealmers

you smile at them and weave your way through the crowd, singing high and clear, and they watch you enraptured by the way you sway your hips and make your way toward them

they’ll never be here for another tournament, and so you decide to give them a bit of a special treat, crooning at them as you tilt the head up of a man with a bladed hat

he gives you a cocky smirk and holds onto your hand gently and kisses the back of it, and you shoot him a wink as you continue to sing

your hand traces over the shoulders of their champion that you had seen earlier fight against Li Mei, and he flushes pink

you smile at his shyness, and he gives you a gentle smile

you walk away from him and approach another man dressed in purple and silver armor with brown hair, and he gives you a large smirk

you approach him, and he stands up holding out his hand for you to take

you take his hand, singing loud and clear, and he spins you in a small circle and gives you a small wink

you just trace his jawline as you move past him, sending him a small glance as you approach the final Earthrealm champion, a man with dark hair and red armor

he doesn’t smile at you, just gives a hard glare, and he crosses his arms as if sizing you up

you smile at him, singing out the last part of your chorus, and you trace his jaw and tilt his head up to look at you, leaning in close as you sing out the last part of the song

you can hear the banquet applause, and you see a slight flush color the man’s cheeks

it’s all you need as you prance away from the table and start your next song, making your rounds through the tables and giving the other guests a similar treatment

at the end of your act, you go back to the stage and finish off strong before giving a deep bow and going off stage

you give the Earthrealmers one final peek and find them staring after you, and you give them a friendly wave and disappear behind the curtains

you would haunt their dreams with your beautiful and haunting voice, always wanting you and needing more

My depiction of their body types is so inconsistent i needed to make a little cheat sheet

but im so not satisfied with wukong, hes the problemchild, fuck him, im so torn between thick fluffy curly furr wukong and really lanky straight furr wukong aaaaaa

I was thinking how I can have both so maybe pre jttw wukong was really lanky and skinny but after jttw and all the drama with the bull family he gained weight and achieved some magnificent dadbod idk,

He fucking rocks it tho, he knows he looks good af

I made Mei extreamly short bc, why not. She's so damn small tho others should stop underestimating her bc of her height, since she hits like a tank

For PIF I was once again torn between extremely thick ass woman or really tall and lanky lady, but since I wanted Red Son to be tall if he had two thick parents it just doesn't work, so you can see Red Son inherited a lot of genes from his mother

Also for genders for the three people with top surgery scars: Mk and Tang are transmask and Macaque (a top surgery scar doesn't really makes sense for him since he can glamour anything and also shapeshift but fuck it I do whatever I want ((very compelling argument ik))) Macaque doesn't give a flying fuck about gender he and Wukong are both above petty labels of one's gender they are gods, why would they care,, oh Yeah Red Son too, he just doesnt care about such a thing as gender (thats for peasant)

so before we begin let's just keep in mind that most of us have heard that s5's villians are most likely the ten kings of the underworld who are also known as the grim reapers of their world, okay? keep this noted...

SO LET'S TALK ABOUT MAYOR

OKAY SO WE HAVE MAYOR. i always hear people say that he should have a redemption arc in s5 but honestly thats not in character with mayor tbh I, personally, IMAGINE THAT HE'LL BECOME PHYSCO over LBD's death, not simply giving up but actually becoming ever so determined to bring back lady bone demon to help her accomplish her "destiny". How tho?

he'll kill macaque. :D

okay so we know how macaque was brought back to life with LBD's power? I imagine that macaque has like "LBD life essence", and mayor will be wanting "LBD life essence" to bring back Lady Bone Demon.

NOW HERE COMES THE PART WHERE I TIE IN THESE BABIES

so the ten kings of the underworld are tasked to keep in control those who die, yes?

i would LIKE to imagine that Mayor comes to contact these guys, telling them that Macaque is still illegally alive due to LBD, and how Mayor will help them get Macaque to put him to death like he shouldve been.

(with ofc, mayor's real intentions just using the ten kings to help him get closer to macaque because surely mayor couldn't simply approach and take macaque's "'lbd life energy" without the LMK main characters interupting him.)

FOR TANG, okay so tang, finally feeling important and famous for once, feels almost entitled to keep people cheering for him, forcing himself to help anyone he can, just like MK can. he finds himself becoming tuckered out, wondering if feeling important is really what he wanted.

(for my freenoodles homies, i can imagine that tang never really wanted to be famous but wanted to be loved, by PIGSY SPECIFICALLY OFC, but pigsy being busy cant spend time with tang, so on and so forth)

MK MEANWHILE, is trying his best to not be in the spotlight and tries to live a more secluded life, especially with his monkey form being just around the corner??

FOR MEI, i'de like to think that while she enjoys the fame, she can't help but feel split about MK not liking the attention, but man, she sometimes just cant help but spend a little self-indulgent time to just show off to everyone and be praised.

DEADASS old man shang tsung should be loved more

Like mk legends shang tsung specifically is absolutely delicious.

(Minus some things like not really showing his treachery to shao kahn. Like it's playing a bit too safe in the cunning department. And honestly makes it look like he's a sinp for shao kahn when he fucking wasn't and hated his guts and would happily stab shao in the back 1000 times over if you ask him and given him the opportunity to. And not to mention it's so convenient around plot. And i hate that. Because honestly holy shit this shang had potential. He had the presence,the aura,but never really shown to fight. And it sucks. Because shang is supposed to be a beast in kombat. He was a fucking boss after all. Like gdi nrs. Why you gotta fumble this guy so hard?! Like the writing is right there!)

Anyways. Old man shang. Let's get back to that.

The reason why i feel old man shang or at least how shang tsung IS SUPPOSED TO BE.

This mofo is cursed. To age. Less he takes the lifeforce/souls of others Because he decided to say "fuck you elder gods! Imma take your ritual healing dark magics and apply it to kombat. Imma take this shit and make it my own!" DEADASS a Dracula energy/soul vampire. Like this man despite everything,still could whoop your ass because he is fucking 500yrs old! From old dynasty china. In earthrealm. Yeah.

This man used to be a warrior from earthrealm,got into beef with raiden,and said fuck you im switching sides as soon as he caught whiff of an opportunity to(at least in his mind at the time) be treated "better" (which he really wasn't as better off,maybe even worse,but he had some power and some better standing tho at a cost)

Like you could take shang tsung in many ways. But all in all he doesn't need to be twirly mustache to be evil. Nor does he need to be good or "SOME GODS PLAYTHING!" to be righteous or do honorable things.

Legitimately mofo shang tsung as an old man should be written as a person who comes off as uncannily and eerily calm,a air of danger but you can't really run away nor want to. You're too damn curious even tho you're screaming inside to run. He needs that true fucking snake vibe.

Very few people have written and portrayed this successfully. And tagawa pioneered that well vibe for villains imho. (Tho the man was unfortunately typecasted by Hollywood this man by god set the bar high. He did it so damn well. He put his whole heart into this. And honestly out of all his roles,this was the most notorious of his roles. Tho i hope this man gets more leisure roles and happier roles in the future. And eventually has a safe,and peaceful retirement. He deserves it. Fr. Thank you Mr. Tagawa seriously. <3 )

Artt butler did a fantastic job with shang tsung,tho given a better script it would be better.

Same with alan lee. I feel his would have made me like it more if fans and story weren't shit.

But all in all shang tsung being rejuvenated and young is nice. And should be shown especially since he is cursed. But his default,unpopular opinion here but. His old man form should be his default look. If not old man old man,then a but of salt n pepper at bare minimum.

Honestly,shang i prefer at his old man look because thats what i well grew up on. And that's kinda how i see him. 🤷‍♀️ *shrug*

Like guy is a flashier more fancy pai mei from Tarantino's kill bill to me. Maybe slightly bit more nicer and considerate but not by much. Lol.

I could go on and on about old man shang tsung specifically. But I'll leave this at.

Honestly we just need to bring him back. We need to bring back shang tsung with that vibe. We need to not make him conveniently made for plot. No give me the shang tsung that i fucking knew.

That bastard needs to make a comeback. And mk11 can't be the only game that he does it in.

And mk legends can't be the only media outside the games that does it either.

Ok I started this a couple days ago but now it’s time I posted it. I only did a few characters but maybe I’ll do a part 2 with more heh

- Most Ticklish guy ever to exist fr

- Like he’s insanely so

- Mei loves torturing him lol

- She knows ever one of his weak spots and it drives him crazy

- I don’t think he’d be embarrassed about it but if I pair this along with my headcanon that he has adhd and can get overstimulated too quickly, I’d say he can’t handle it for too long

- His worst spots are his feet, underarms, and sides

- But his death spot is probably his belly

- He can’t handle any touch there like it’s too sensitive lmao

- His laugh his loud and bubbly and is endearing to majority of people who hear it

- He’s honestly a ler also

- Not as much as most people he knows though

- He won’t admit it but he’s never won a tickle fight before (ESPECIALLY with Mei)

- He doesn’t really tease the person he tickles so much as he more complements the person he tickles

- “Awww your laugh is so cute!!!”

- (He actually learned this form of teasing from Wukong lolll)

Mei

- I honestly don’t think she’s that ticklish tbh

- Like she’ll giggle and stuff if you tickle all the normal places one would be ticklish, but besides that not much

- Buuuttt she does have one death spot

- Get her feet and she’s thrashing and begging for mercy

- I hate this loser so much /affectionate

- As much as he loves tickling people (being the trickster he is who loves making people laugh), he is actually super ticklish himself

- Also do y’all remember him having stage fright (which had me laughing my ass off lmao it was so funny), because him being ticklish would make him even more adorable

- His stomach, ribs, and thighs are pretty bad spots, but get his armpits and he’s literally dead

- He’ll probably do almost anything you say lmaoooo he’s so ticklish there

- When MK found out he had a field day

- I mean, THE Monkie King, all powerful god and deity… is ticklish?

- Funnily enough he isn’t that embarrassed about being ticklish

- He understands that’s just the way body’s work and sees it more as a instinctive defense mechanism to protect yourself

- I like to think he’s equally as ticklish, and has similar tickle spots to Wukong

- Though he has a death spot on his ribs

- Digging in there will have him hysterically cackling

- Unlike Wukong, who doesn’t actually mind being ticklish, Macaque would honestly rather die than admit it

- Wukong loves to torture him

- When they get into fights that become physical, Wukong will use tickling to take him down

- Sometimes when he’s being a little shit, Wukong uses tickling also to bring him down a few pegs

- I love the idea that he’d be very much incapable of saying the “t word”

- He absolutely cannot and it’s hilarious

- Even hearing it is flustering and embarrassing

- Sometimes Wukong will tease him by randomly saying it (such as “that has me tickled pink!” that sort of thing)

- He HATES it lmao

one of my fave things abt mk is how hes come into his own, owning his powers and self even though self doubt. hes a lil people pleaser, but hes not, like, a little somft uwu boy and he gives people many chances because he actively chooses to, and thinks they deserve them, but once its become too much hes happy to tell people thats e-fucking-nough as much as the censors will allow

fave thing for mei is probably her self confidence and aesthetic, she falters for sure but she has this fucking feral energy i adore and i hope nothing tames that, i dont care about how character growth is usually portrayed, you can be capable and not have to dim your fire. i understand the stuff with calming down to do the training at the end of s4 but she was also the only one with enough guts to tell him to fuck off. she got no stars but she was also the one to kick azure deadass in the face and steal swk (their trump card) back and if she hadnt, they might not have got swk back at all

Like, cooks MK food, makes sure MK cleans his house - we stan

MK can’t cook to save his life and he is painfully aware of it

If you held a gun to MK’s head and said ‘make toast’, MK should just shoot himself

When he first started working at Pigsy’s, he started off as a kitchen hand

That was until there were numerous reviews of food poisoning :D

But, Pigsy noticed MK was pretty fast and moved around pretty quickly so thus MK THE DELIVERY BOY WAS BORN

The delivery truck is MK’s actual car and is also MK’s baby

He LOVES that thing like it was his own child

He gets genuinely sad whenever it breaks down or starts having problems and acts like its dying

Buuuuuut hes also too cheap to get it fixed so he says ‘its fine’ while it is actively sparking and smoking

Ok so here me out— Wukong goes into a deep 23 month sleep how would mk gang, macaroni, dbk, and Nezha react?

I love how many names microphone has.

alright! this can so much fit my headcanon of the stone monkeys! It says that they can stay still for ages and still be able to move like they stopped for one minute! And it can apply to sleep too!

Let's say that wukong was hibernating, not like usually reptile do, but he started hibernating.

(not really hibernating he just slept a lot.)

and let's say that it was after the defeat of the lady bone demon, so he didn't know what to do.

He couldn't move without burning because of his body being so cold.

and he was exhausted, all of that drained his energy.

so he decides to sleep. It results in him sleeping for 23 months (which is technically a year? I'm not sure, i have currently forgotten how many months are there like a dumbass.) and it freaks everyone out.

He is immortal yes, but what if? What if he died??

There's a possibility of that y'know?? Well, that's what MK thinks.

he doesn't want his teacher to die, he doesn't want him to be gone! He's been gone long enough and now that everything's fine?? He suddenly starts sleeping for a year?!

Is this normal in monkeys?? MK dosen't know.

Long story short, MK will likely be clingy to wukong when he wakes up.

Macaroni and cheese would probably be happy not gonna lie. he would throw a party about wukong death, but when wukong wakes up macboobs will cry so hard his eyes will pop out.

Pigsy wouldn't be too worried at first because come on, the Legend? The almighty? The untouchable monkey king? The immortal⁵? Dead? HAH.

Sure it gets concerning for the few months, especially when the kid crying about it, but a year?? okay we are going to the vet right now.

Mei would comfort MK, still worried because what the fuck?? Was she too rough with the samadhi fire? Did the possession got him that hard? But she's busy comforting a crying MK with abandonment issues.

Tang would act all confident that the monkey king is just doing all of his shenanigans, but when the monkey king himself will say "i don't even know how much i have slept" it will bring Tang confidence down and just considers himself lucky that sun wukong didn't die.

Sandy is not the best guy to ask about wukong, he himself is not too much of a fan, sure he would check on monkey king whenever MK asked to see if he has died or if he's in like a coma or something, but he would try and comfort MK as well.

DBK? he would care but also not.

he wouldn't care because that's what he wanted ! He wanted to kill that monkey but it's his sworn brother so he kind of,, feels bad? Worried?

Nezha would be so confused.

It's not the first time wukong pulls one of his dumb shenanigans and this is the slightest from concerning for sun wukong.

But "dude you went in a coma are you okay? Fr? Like frfr? You sure? Just making sure bro like it would be embarrassing for you to die like that smh."

Cinema Sins/Wins Rip off of Lego Monkie Kid

Bad Weather, Season 1 Episode 1

Finally doing this again bois!

Inspired by @satansaidmyturnintheh3llscape

Rules:

-I won’t be counting Animation Mistakes, because Idk how to do that, and I myself am a beginner animator (more like incredibly amateur, to the point I’m asking my sister for help) Unless of course the Animation is obviously and clearly having a mistake for me to watch. (Or it is said in the wiki) The other reason is because I don’t want to keep repeating a scene just to check for an animation mistake.

-I also won’t be counting flashbacks as ‘mistakes’ because most of them are based on bias.

-I’ll be formatting it like this

-Most of this is Commentary, so there won’t be a last sentence nor win or sin counter.

-This is mostly for fun, no need to get offended.

Alright I’ll be placing the rules every single time, without further ado, let’s get into the episode

-And we already start off with a summary of the pilot, kudos!

-Season 1 already establishes the feeling of bias, like look at MK, and that’s how the people see him, no wonder SWK’s flashbacks don’t treat him like the goofy ass jester he seems to be.

-MK reiterating this reminds us why they are called as kids when they are literally grown adults…

-Is Pigsy seriously understaffed? Like he says he pulls a ‘quadruple shift’ and refers to everyone slacking off, not just MK who we know, ACTUALLY works there, not only that but Mei helps him in the Season 2 special and he’s shown to have no other staff…no wonder he’s a little anxious of the shop going out of business, he literally only has one person working for him and it’s MK!

-Tang also calls Pigsy ‘Piggy’ actually Sandy does too- the only one who doesn’t is MK who calls him ‘Dadsy’

-This is why you don’t play around when someone is working with a giant crane.

-Main character death number 2

-Pigsy is either still traumatized of MK nearly dying in the pilots or this is the writer’s already establishing that MK was adopted by Pigsy.

-Also as much as I love Dad Wukong, Dadsy best dad for the win.

-Also Pigsy for the win for teaching him responsibility with using powers.

-Mei got too much free time in her hands…

-Looking at the team base, it looks like it’s either underwater or part of the ship.

-Pigsy and MK asking the real questions fr

-Sandy building a secret base is a win in my book. Appreciate Sandy and Mei more fandom! APPRECIATE.

-‘An Eon trapped under a mountain’ I hate to be too literal but an eon is 0.5 billion years

-On the other hand this is sad because he thought he was trapped for a billion years…imagine that, in total darkness without having to see your wife and son.

-Again what era is this in? Because that’s some high-tech shit to control the damn weather. And we know that China at least ATTEMPTED it…I think?

-I like that when the characters show you can hear their theme songs in the background.

-Red Son seems to be broadcasting this as he is video recording, but he also seems to be broadcasting this as if it’s a voice recording.

-Just How strong is that rain?!

-‘When I’m finished my father will once more DOMINATE the world’ ok, so what I’m getting at is that he’ll flood the whole country so that MK can’t do shit. Which is fair since the rain seems THAT strong…

-Sandy scurrying away at the background lol XD

-‘Don’t just dive headfirst into danger!’ 3 seasons later and they all do it anyway…

-Also you all did that when MK freaking dies in the pilots and Tang was willing to even if he seems to have no battle experience…

-Man having MK as a son must be so stressful for Pigsy XD.

-Soo how did the others get here?

-‘I thought I smelled garbage, turns out I was right!’ Red Son, bud, you can do better.

-Lol, Mei and Sandy in the background, ngl Sandy, Mei and MK’s trio is WIDELY underrated, like seriously, these three have been paired up FOUR TIMES, and are shown to hang out a lot, like, GIVE THIS TRIO SOME ATTENTION, they’re the ones with the most episodes than Traffic Light Trio. And TLT was only a trio for like, 2 Specials at LEAST, these guys had like FOUR EPISODES with just them together.

-Red Son sitting there unphased just shows that he knows for a fact MK was winning by pure luck alone.

-‘You dorks done beating each other up yet?’ Again he’s unphased, just showing how he KNOWS that MK is soo inexperienced.

-This Episode has the least sins in here, I’m finding it difficult to find a sin-

-OOOOOHHH THAT GOTTA HURT-!

-‘I guess the GARBAGE takes itself out now!’ That’s better.

-Also, as much as I can understand that the animators were still working on the style for the show, I…still don’t like how it looks in Season 1 tbh-

-How strong is MK for him to create a giant crater when he falls?! Even if he isn’t invincible anymore, he still made a crater.

-Early showcase of MK being a people pleaser for his own good.

-You know with the context of Season 4 I’m wondering if MK allowed Wukong to search his hair but didn’t want to because Wukong is still a stranger to him or…it’s him generally being confused.

-*Aggressively smacks Wukong around as he worries what’s wrong with him.*

-‘In order to have full control of your powers you need self-confidence’ ‘I got self-confidence!’ ‘Nope, you’re just loud’ Way to call him out Wukong.

-But yeah, judging by how Wukong just keeps GETTING NEW ABILITIES with his powers being connected to Self-Confidence, it’s probably a source.

-Notice how Wukong never says that MK’s powers were his, he never says ‘In order to have full control of MY powers.’ He says ‘In order to have full control of YOUR powers’

-Tbh, Wukong being a vague and horrible mentor might come from his time with Subodhi, he’s probably learning how to be a good mentor as he goes, but he probably only has experience from Subodhi and Tripitaka as well- like, Trip might have taught him many things, but it didn’t help that he was captured 24/7.

-And you know how to limit his power, how? For all I know, MK and you are the only ones with your powers.

-I do wonder if the whole ‘invincibility’ thing was probably the reason why Wukong has an everlasting scar on his eyes.

-Ok hold on, why is MK invincible? Why now at least? Like, if he had those powers at birth, why is he invincible? Wukong wasn’t invincible at all, he had to get that invincibility, heck, it was probably from Subodhi’s illegal immortality that Wukong gained…why was HE invincible?

-And they never touch up on this again.

-Man Pigsy cannot catch a BREAK with MK.

-They also never do this again.

-Damn Red Son can punch!

-Nvm, he does sometimes use that Gold Vision like Marinette.

-Wait why is Tang the only one gagged?!

-I love how childish MK is…

-Now Tang is no longer gagged.

-that gotta hurt…

-AGAIN HOW STRONG IS THAT WEATHER?!

-How does MK not have memory loss yet?

-No but seriously, I’m glad they switched it up a bit in Season 4 because Seasons 1-3 all the villains seem like they ALL were living in Megapolis, like how, why, is it because Wukong lives nearby?

DIALOGUE BREAKDOWN LEGGO!!

"So. You got Bone Demon powers now, huh? Well it is on brand for you to have a worse version of everyone else's powers." / "Wukong!" / "What? He does!" He is suchhhh a cheeky monkey when he says that, like. That's your former friend you're bashing, the previous you cared about him so much, what happened??? and like?? maybe its an audience perspective thing buuuuut the whole being iced over like a parasite thing isn't exactly. done through consent here buddy. Maybe this implies a more Jttw route where Macky impersonated Wukong to attack the pilgrims? Hence "worse version of everyone else" including cheaper copies of the gang.

"What? You got what you wanted, didn't you? Not going to gloat, monologue a little before screwing off to your master? Go on, the Lady Bone Demon is waiting." Wukong buddy, I love you but holy, read the room. Like okay, only we the audience can read the room, but dang bro. I especially am eyeing how Wukong actually looks surprised when Macaque yet again has to emphasize that he "couldn't care less" about what LBD wants, and fr I have too many nickels over this. I know what I said about him possibly working with Monkie Gang but...In the end, Macky really just had to save himself, rough methods and all...Wukong did NOT have a plan, and Mei is the only one who COULD control the fire, our Mystic Monkey over there would've just burned himself or not have really known how to get the fire out of Mei without hurting her, it was all hypothetical to him and who knows what could have happened. ANYWAYS. How many of us sitting in the crowd think "did Macaque say those same words to Wukong, mocking him about running back to Tripitaka or?" Vastly different context of course. "Stop! If you hurt that kid I'll..." "What? Make things worse for MK?" OOOH. Macaque hardly reacts to what Wukong says until he mentions LBD, meanwhile Macaque just says one short little thing and OH does it just pierce into Wukong's insecurities as a mentor and the fact he was keeping secrets, look at the conflicted emotions running on that monkey's face!" Also hey, for those seconds Macky was just sitting there holding his arm, was he feeling pain from the ice or hearing LBD's voice??? "Don't get in my way, kid. I don't have time for you. I'm just here for the Samadhi Fire. Then, I'm done with you all." *lies face down in the dirt at my wits end.* Tfw you seriously cannot escape the narrative. You have no mouth, but you must scream / ref. Keep saying that as much as you want buddy *sighs* it won't change that you'll be forced to dig yourself into a deeper hole of being a villain to everyone.

MARIANA! DONT ACCEPT HIS PURPOSE!!!1! HES A FUCKING HORE!!1! HE FUCKED YOUR MOM!!1!" at the tv, watching his mexican novela

- but then he notices you entering and putting the second origami bird close to his seat, he looks at the two birds then look at you with a puzzled expression "... what are you doing?" his eyes was wide in curiosity "well... i was bored and wanted to do something for you, so i made this little guy but he needed a friend, so i made a little guy for the little guy"

- he just looks at you without emotion, trying to process your logical reasoning. then he starts to laugh, getting up and walking closely to you "YOU ARE SUCH A CUTIE!!1!" he say loudly and pinching your cheeks, you noticed that he was slightly blushing and you figured out his tail was in a heart shape "... thank you, my love" his face had a big smile while he tightly hug you

- he loves it!!1! he even asked you to make a little paper home to the birds so they can be safe from cold, saying that they are married and pointing out that "they are like us fr fr" (he says "fr fr" because of Mei and MK). he also sometimes make the birds kiss and point at them saying "us", then point at his lips, asking for a kiss

REDSON

- he was on the kitchen, he noticed you because of his shadow controlling powers, but he was too into his thing (cleaning the dishes and contemplating about his life choices) to give any further thoughts. so you successfully secretly left a origami on the kitchen banker

- the second time he finished his task, so he noticed you putting a new origami bird close to the other and he just stares at you, curiously "... what are you doing?" he ask with his tail switching sides, showing his curiosity "well... i was bored and wanted to do something for you, so i made this little guy but he needed a friend, so i made a little guy for the little guy"

- he made a 'o' with his mouth and just stare at you for more seconds "... thats cute" he say, finally smilling a bit "you are cute" he comes closer to you and pinch your cheeks "thanks, my dear" he whisper, touching yall foreheads together and then backing away "anyway, i was thinking and-"

- he gets you, hes autistic and he also somehow thinks that objects have feelings, he gets overly attached to them and protective. he actually would ask you to make a friend to the first origami bird anyway, leave these little guys alone feels wrong and bother him (ofc not projecting haha)

- he loves it too!!1! he keeps them in a space inside his desk with the others gifts you made for him. me thinks hes a writter, so sometimes he makes the birds kiss and pretend its his two characters. just to be able to imagine better the scene or have a better dialogue (not because its fun... ofc not...)

- btw, yes, Macaques and Wukongs headcanons are similar, its on purpose cause me thinks they are the same word on a diferrent font

- he is working on a new type of robot in his "work office", as Mei call it. hes so focused that he dosent hear you putting a origami bird on a desk next to him. also, you notice that his tongue is slightly out in concentration >w<

- the second time you put a origami bird hes more aware of his surroundings and quickly notices you. he looks at you curiously "... what- whats going on?" he ask fixated on the origamis "well... i was bored and wanted to do something for you, so i made this little guy but he needed a friend, so i made a little guy for the little guy"

- he looks at you for some seconds, until his hair flames gets suddenly stronger. you recognise it as a reaction to strong emotions. he stay silent for more seconds and you patiently wait for his next reaction, you learned that he needs a extra time to word his feelings "i- ... thanks." he say coming closer and holding your cheek with one hand, you are able to feel his body warmth because it was pretty hot "my royalty" he kisses your forehead and immediately backs off "ANyway- im making this robot who-"

- he "secretly" loves it!!1! he waits you to leave, then he keeps the origamis in his room closet, checking if they are "hurt" everyday along with your others gifts. sometimes he plays with them like barbies, remembering how he didnt played as a kid because he thought he was "too growned up for that". he have a lot of fun!!1!
