z'nakei has gotten two new familiars for mobility and getting around. made using resources from both elpis and records about how the silkie was made.

there's nova, visualized after argos. he's usually brought out in more compact places, cities, buildings, etc.

while she could have just taken in argos directly, if felt wrong to her. argos always has been and always will be venat's, not hers.

and then stella, for more open spaces. visualized after dalamud. due to her size and stature, stella is usually z'nakei's pick for maneuvering in combat (if the space has enough room to even allow the free movement)

testing new designs/concepts for nakei’s azem! gonna try and go more similar to her since i think the reason i was having such a stump before was just cause trying to make the two too different/independent of eachother?

also thinking of changing the true name to apollo cause the sun imagery is just too prevalent for me to resist. also cause nakei very much so fits the ‘flown too far into the sun’ theme.

also no robes yet cause i need to edit a set. and figure out how i wanna color the mask. so instead i just threw on random clothes i have downloaded :p

So, I was thinking about something in LOK.

You know the Earth Queen Hou-Ting? You know, the woman who secluded airbenders and that Zaheer killed?

This one?

Well, as you all may know, she’s King Kuei’s only daughter.

I’m sure you all remember King Kuei, the puppet king with the bear.

This guy.

Well, I made some calculus. He must’ve been in his early/mid 20s in ATLA. And his daughter had to be in her 50s/early 60s when she died.

In the meantime, Zuko is 87/88 in 171AG, when LOK3 takes place. Since his daughter is commonly believed to be around Bumi and Kya’s age, I’d speculate that she’s around 60 in her appearance in LOK4, in 174AG and when Zuko is 90 (Tenzin is 51 in 170AG and Kya is roughly 4 years older than him, so Izumi must be between 5 and 7 years older than him, which places her in a range between 60 and 62 years old).

(See? Roughly the same age)

So, my point? I think during their diplomatic visits, Zuko and Kuei had to spend a lot of time in each other’s company because, monarch stuff. And given that they were both heirs to their respective thrones, Izumi and Hou-Ting had to spend a lot of time together.

I don’t know why, but I imagine those two having the wildest, silliest yet most hateful beef as teens. And given Hou-Ting’s despicable behavior and authoritarian politic in contrast to what shown of Izumi, a rational leader who cares for her people, I am even more convinced that those two despised each other.

So yeah, I can’t stop picturing Izumi and Hou-Ting insulting the crap out of each other while saving face in front of the subjects. And I can’t stop laughing

one of the biggest mistakes capcom has ever made was literally not making ada wong bisexual. she deserves a big badass woman at her side, joining her and letting ada do whatever she wants, cause she knows eventually ada will always come back to her. which brings me to the second part of my thought:

"And who is this exactly?"

Leon turns around, startled to watch you come close. He didn't even notice you before, so focused that he was on Ada. You wear a spandex dark suit that shows off all your curves. You don't look too excited to see him, crossing your arms, somewhat bored.

"Leon Kennedy. The one I told you about, from Raccoon City."

"Oh, I see."

You analyze Leon up and down, a smile on your lips. Ada has told you all about him, and you want Leon to know. Leon tries to ignore the small stupid pain in his heart as you approach them, the heels in your boots loud against the floor. He ignores the pain again as Ada seems to gravitate at your side, you two sharing a secret look and smile. It was like seeing a secret side from Ada: Leon had never seen her eyes glow like that or that soft smile on her lips. Like she was in love.

It shouldn't hurt as much, but it did.

"I thought Ada Wong worked alone," Leon's voice has a tiny hint of sourness. Or jealousy. Your smile got bigger, sighing.

"It seems there are many things you don't know about her, Kennedy."

You leave the room before he can answer, too bored with this overall conversation. Ada watches you leave, discreetly looking at your ass.

"Your girlfriend doesn't seem to like me," Ada smiles because she knows exactly what he means about the word girlfriend.

"Well. My girlfriend doesn't react very well to the good guys. See you later, Leon."

Ada smiles one more time before joining you. Leon was a somewhat forgotten thought since Ada met you. You were vibrant, ready to meet her snarky comments, and unafraid to cross the lines. Ada would never admit she fell in love, but she didn't have to. Not to you. You see it in her eyes as soon as she joins you.

"Ready?"

"As ready as I can be."

I think they wouldn't particularly mind Ambrosius getting with a man (they'd be more pissed off at his status than anything), but I'm sure they'd be of an opinion that Gloreth's bloodline must continue, so Ambrosius must get a wife/a person who can give him a child

Ok, its been a collective agreement that the one who wins in the life games, is the one to break the rules. correct?

I'd say that denying the watchers the ability to see what you do is one hell of a broken rule. Not really much you can do to break the rules of time itself. But could you actually imagine it if Bdubs did win? No one there to see what he does in his victory. What if the person who dies before him just cuts their video there? many have done it, not out of the possibility's. and If he kills them, they'll get send back to their spawn, they won't see what he does with his glory. Just imagine it, Bdubs wins and there is no one who shows his death. his time will run out eventually sure, its not like he will be free, the winner still always dies. But we do not get to see how. What he will say, what he does after, if he does anything at all. Just feels like a story missing a period at the end really.

All I'm saying, is Bdubs as the final winner would be fitting, not because he's got his time king gimmick, but because of how this may be the last life game in a while. The games will end finally letting someone walk away with their bloodied hands. No longer letting the watchers enjoy their final death

I am getting Headcanons ready because I was thinkin' of writing something for a/b/o soon too ^^ Also I definitely didn't have to screenshot this anon really quickly because I posted the post too early and hadn't formatted anything yet

cw: Omegaverse, sfw, fluff, twins x reader, really rambly (I've not written anything omegaverse before and I am nervous)

Ω I picture their scents would actually be considered kind of unpleasant, especially in a world where people smell like flowers and spices and sugar and sweets- Both Ingo and Emmet perpetually smell like fuel and oil and sweat and iron and fire, which isn't much liked by most omegas.

Ω When relaxed, their scent is much more mellow and pleasant, though- Like fresh-cut lumber, coffee, or wood-smoke, or something heavily spiced. I think Ingo smells more like coffee and wood-smoke, whereas Emmet has a scent more like cinnamon and nutmeg and cloves- And both of them always have an underlying scent of iron and oil. Probably something to do with growing up and working around trains.

Ω Both of them are a little upset that so many omegas are turned off by their scent, and they don't have mates- Even though they're both very popular and accomplished trainers. They try not to let it bother them, but Emmet's woken up to himself nervously rubbing his wrists into his bed and wishing it was a cute little omega's nest, instead… Ingo is a hopeless romantic though and doesn't hide his sorrow half as well. He wistfully stares at couples and wishes he could've been a beta, if it would do anything to fix his scent problems.

Ω When they meet their darling omega, they're ecstatic, and can barely contain their excitement. An omega? Who doesn't hate their scent? They're also super nervous, and they have zero clue how best to catch your attention and interest.

Ω They suck at nest making, for the most part. They never learned, and so they follow your lead- They buy you lots of blankets, some pretty curtains, and any sort of lights or other things you'd like for your nest. They have a tendency to spoil you, but let them- They feel bad from not knowing how to make nests themselves.

Ω While they love you dearly, they act kind of distant- Scared to chase you off, nervous to show too much affection. You have to reassure them a lot that you really love them and want them, which is something new for them.

Ω They absolutely lose it if you ask them to scent something. Ingo gets wide eyed, and almost shocked. He gestures at himself, as if- No, you'd meant some alpha standing behind him. Once he gets over his shock, he's flustered and has wrapped the blanket or article of clothing around himself, trying to make it as Ingo-scented as possible. Emmet just beams with enthusiasm and snatches you and whatever you're holding into his embrace- Yes, he'll scent your clothing for you- And yourself.

Ω Ingo growls a lot, sometimes without even realizing it. He usually does it when he's holding you, or if he's in rut- Or in his sleep. Emmet typically whines at you. Ω Both of them are very clingy alphas, once they let themselves act more naturally around you. If you often sleep in your nest, they're pawing at the entrance to your abode- Two pitiful, half-undressed alphas almost whining at you to let them come in and cuddle, or join them in their beds for the night. If they ever catch you cuddling their clothing, they're melting and immediately jumping to join you- A coat is a poor substitute for your beloved alphas, after all.

Ω They like to spoil their omega. Not just in nest materials, but they'll probably want to take frequent baths with you, and treat you to nice things often. They practically parade you around with how much they love you and how much they take pride in being your alphas- Ingo will often take you to buy cute, comfy clothes- Emmet likes to treat you (and himself) to sweets. Ω They will also ask you to scent their own clothing! Especially their shirts, or the collars of their coats- Your scent is soothing and refreshing to them, especially if they're having a bad day.

Ω They love having you with them in Gear Station, and if Emmet spots you he practically runs up to scent you, kissing you and wrapping his arms around you. Ingo prefers to immediately invite you back to the office- He prefers to give his affections in private, unlike Emmet's PDA. If they're working and you're in their office, one of them might occasionally pull you in for a tight hug- Drinking in your scent, hearing your heart beat or your voice squeak in surprise.

Ω Cuddling you after a long day is something they love very very much- They put on a cool fan, or possibly two, or maybe three- and just lie around in bed or on the couch with you. Ingo gently rubbing his hands across your back, scenting you- And Emmet curling around you like a gremlin before he passes out.

I know some of us like to pepper Gaelic endearments into our ghostsoap from time to time and I thought hey! Maybe I should finally share my little headcanon as to how Soap even came about knowing the language in the first place:

I like to think that his granny (who raised him and his siblings) was from the Inner Hebrides and grew up using it. She moved to the lowlands after marrying, became a Gaelic-medium teacher. Thus, Soap attended the school she taught at and had a Gaelic-medium education throughout primary. (Gme students are taught completely in Gaelic from p1-p3 with English being incorporated later.) While not continuing it in secondary, he still had a fluent adult at home keeping the language fresh in his mind. That’s. The bare bones of it anyway.

Anyway I wanted to share this because I’ve seen the occasional person say it’s ridiculous to suddenly see him speaking Gaelic in fics (which is a very fair point of course. few people are immersed in it, it remains a threatened language) but the thought of someone who wanted to include it in their work who then might not because of this is disheartening. Should they do the proper research beforehand, it is plausible when given the right ingredients.

It’s a language that should be celebrated, not discouraged, especially given the history. Having a character know it just really depends on the different factors you throw into their backstory. Even if the author doesn’t explain it, it should then be up to the reader to assume he’s not just pulling the language out of thin air. Idk, if call of duty fanfic of all things can expose people to Gàidhlig and garner interest in some to learn a bit of the language, I just. That is a good thing

I wonder what came to be of Snow's granddaughter. We don't know much about Snow's children, but it's highly possible that they would go into hiding or at least keep a low profile, or maybe they would be charged for some crimes (again, there isn't enough information about them). But what about the girl?

I like the idea of Tigris somehow reaching out after the revolution, feeling protective of her. She would help her understand more about their family's past and ensure she was better than them. And after that, who knows? Maybe she moves to one of the Districts (if they still exist as we have known them) and lives far away from the Snow legacy.

And then I got carried away and started to imagine a story about Katniss' daughter and Snow's great-granddaughter meeting each other as teens/young adults. Because drama.

akashi is actually not as good at everything as people like / want to believe but let me not get into that today

#i think people are missing the entire point of his character arc when they believe him to be perfect and good at everything #you have fallen for the image he’s projecting without noticing the cracks in the facade and the secrets they reveal #in my opinion people still have a largely one dimensional understanding of him #we have so much material to work with why do we refuse to discuss more than his supposed perfection #less about how perfect he is at something and more about the trials and tribulations he experienced in trying to be good at it #less about how calm and composed he is and more about how easily he breaks down in secret because he cant do it in front of everyone else #more about him being comfortable enough around his friends to risk making jokes #if you heard any of the headcanons i have about akashi you’d go into shock #give me more messy awkward akashi #or i’ll do it myself #Whatever.
