Ever since of their recent paranormal expeditions, proto had been... acting odd...MA didnt know what happened, ma had blacked out and must have missed what happened, but MA was worried. MA knocked on protos apartment door, they lived in separate apartments but in the same building.
Tumblr media
"Hey, P. You in there? You good?"
Proto qpproached MA from scorps apartment, scorp looked HORRIBLE. Scorps hair was disheveled and scorps eyes had this look of pure horror.
Tumblr media
"Oh...hi M, yea im good just having the world allergic reaction ever...thats all"
Tumblr media
"I-its nothin...how about you- didnt ya pass out?"
Tumblr media
"Proto i get youre worried about me but thats not relevant right now...you look like-"
Tumblr media
"ALRIGHT HAVE A GOOD DAY BYE!"
Proto slammed the door closed. Very out of character for scorp. Usually scorp would chat with ma for hours on hours if scorp could, they were best friends and had been for years ever since MA had moved to nevada.
Ma didnt really try to press the issue further, and left to go call any of protos other friends to see if this was something that had happened before
1 week ago
MA went to go check up on proto again, knocking on scorps apartment door.
No answer
Ma kept knocking, effectively punching the door to no response. Luckily ma and proto had eachothers apartment keys just in case something happened. Or one of them wanted to scare the other.
Ma barged into protos apartment to find...
Tumblr media
"Wh- what the - fuck...FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK!!!"
Tumblr media
Proto was dead. Blood staining the roght side of one of the rooms in the apartment.
Ma stood there in shock, not noticing the spectre forming behind ma until-
Tumblr media
"...uhm...ma. what are you doing in my apartmen-"
Tumblr media
"JESUS!!!"
And yea ...proto is a ghost now i guess.
And thats the start of this insanity!!

Body Swap - How Do I Talk Like That? Part Two
finally, the body swap has returned!!! featuring mob trying his best. wish him luck! he'll need it...
masterpost
previous
Summarized ID: A client comes into the office and talks to Mob (who is in Reigen's body) about his house being haunted. Mob tries to talk back, but he's only chattering meaninglessly. Reigen thinks he's blowing it.
FULL ID UNDER CUT:
(This is a body swap, so I'll be referring to the characters as who they actually are but keep in mind that Reigen is in Mob's body and vice versa.)
Hiroshi Hiroto, a middle aged large man in a suit with sideswept bangs, comes into the office. "Good evening, I'm here for my appointment?" He says. Mob stands and they bow slightly to eachother. "Ah. Yes. Good evening..." Mob says.
Mob sits back down and asks "So, what... is the issue?" He is a little nervous, there is a sweatdrop on his cheek.
Reigen is leaning on the reception desk, arms folded, and looking at Mob and Hiroto. He thinks to himself, "It's going okay so far, I guess..." His leg is bouncing, showing his nervousness.
Dimple floats up beside him and says "Hey, quit fidgeting! Shigeo's doing fine, he's got this."
Hiroto leans back in his chair, "I believe my house may be haunted. You see, I own quite a large home, but I live in it all alone. Except for my dogs."
We see a scene of Hiroto coming down his steps and looking shocked as he glances into another room, where the walls have large scratches and furniture is torn up and strewn about. The panel is grayed out. Hiroto keeps speaking, "But every night, I hear footsteps, scratching, and whatnot… When I go downstairs to check it out, everythings ruined!"
We see four large scratch marks on the wall. "At first, I thought it was my dogs, but the claw marks are too big for that."
We see him sitting with two other people in a restaurant booth. They are all holding drinks. There is a man and a woman speaking with Hiroto. "When I spoke with a few of my friends about it, they told me that it could be a ghost."
Back to the present, we see Hiroto still speaking to Mob. Dimple is to the side of him, using one of his hands to make 'bunny ears' behind Hiroto's head and the other to pretend he's picking his nose. Dimple is grinning, playing around. Hiroto says, "Now, I don't really believe in all that supernatural stuff..."
Mob stares, listening, but giving no indication he is listening.
Dimple goes behind his head, circling a finger to the side of Hiroto's head making the 'crazy' gesture. "That doesn't sound too hard to believe, now does it?"
Mob snaps to attention. "No, not at all. When my Mas-" He cuts himself off, hunching his shoulders up and sweating again. "Student and I. uh. go to haunted locations, there is usually damage." He straightens up again. "So, I believe what you're saying."
"Mhmm." Hiroto says. Dimple floats away. "... I don’t really believe in all this spiritual stuff, but there are plenty of so-called exorcists and psychics out there to make it seem like it could be a possibility… tell me," He leans forward, looking unimpressed. "Why should I go with you?"
Mob gulps. Then takes a big inhale. The panel is in the center of the screen, and the word "INHALE" is behind it, spreading out across the page. Then Mob begins flailing his hands around like Reigen does and blabbers. All around him is "blah, blah, blah, blah"
Reigen buries his head in his hands, his powers making his hair and the objects around him float in the air. Dimple is holding back laughter, letting out a little "snrk-" snicker. Reigen thinks "No! He's blowing it!"
END ID.

Colby and Sam x ghost child reader
( this is not based on any hauntings they have gone to, more like a comfort fic ?)
(this is was not meant to ‘make fun’ of ghosts or anything like that)
(Please don’t hate crime me for this, I only made this so could comfort myself for my own trauma)
(I’m sorry but I did take inspiration from Sam and Colby video called “Our Haunted Night at Villisca Axe Murder House (SLOVED)” but taking inspiration from this I did not mean to make a joke to what happened to this poor girl, I do think this was an amazing video but if you have any sexual trauma I do not recommend this video)
(Also, I have 0 experience with writing about supernatural things sorry!)
(PS look up Potoo it’s a real bird and I love them OMG )
TW: abuse, ghosts (?), sexual assault, murder, death,
You had been the child killer by a mas murder years ago, you had died when you were 12 and had stayed 9 for the last 10 year.
Where you died had turned into a “top 10 haunted’ places to visit for people who want a good scare, honestly you hatted it, all those people sticking their noise in yours and your family death, talking about how it was tragic what had happened to you.
They always asked the same questions
“Do you remember who killed you?”
“Can you give us a sign your sill here?”
“Did you dad kill you?”
You hatted the last question the most, your dad was always so kind he would always give you lots of gifts and hugs, sometimes he went away for work for a month though, you hatted it when he went away you always missed him so much.
Sometimes they even pretended you answered, or touched there back, that annoyed you the most it was like they new you were there but didn’t care about being real about it.
They always asked what type of person your mother was too, the was an annoying question.
Because no matter how many times you said ‘mean ‘or ‘ loud ‘ into the box that lets you speak they always ask the question again. Your mother wasn’t the worst, not by a long shot but she would always been yelling at you for one reason or another, she was also cruel so would ignore you for days on end. But you still loved her, she was your mother after all.
After 5 years of people asking the same boring questions, you stopped answering as much and people stopped coming as much, it was boring, you almost missed seeing people.
People did still come around sometimes to see were the horrific murder happened, but they didn’t normally ask questions to you, sometimes you did like to pull on their shirt a little catching them of grade and scaring them a little but only if they were there a while you were still a little shy of new people.
One afternoon you saw the grounds keeper walking around making sure everything was clean enough, he normally did this whenever there would be people coming over, but no one normally comes this late is was almost getting dark. You watched and followed the grounds keeper go around the house sweeping and dusting some shelves a well as kill a big scary spider, the big spider scared you a lot it had so many legs and eyes.
The grounds keeper stopped sweeping when he heard a nock at the door, he put down the broom and walked over to the door, you didn’t want to follow him, so you stayed looking at the broom.
It was big, around the same height as you and was colourful, you have seen the broom before, but you always like to play with it when you got the chance.
You divided too slightly push the broom and watched it move a little, slightly tipping this made you very happy, you always loved whenever you could do things that affected the world around you.
You did it again but this time a little too much force and it fell over making a big noise, you jumped back in surprise and ran into the other room where the kitchen was.
pov change idk(?)
Sam and Colby were standing at the door talking with the grounds keeper when they heard something fall over and small footsteps running to the kitchen
“Oh my! Did you all hear that?” Sam questioned pointing the camera at Colby and Amanda.
“That must be one of our quieter spirits, (Your name). there is a bit shy not talking to many” the ground keeper said walking inside to the living room seeing the coloured broom knocked over
“Were you just using this?” Colby asked picking it up and putting it up right again to show the camera that it didn’t wall by accident
“Yeah, I just finished sweeping “the gate keeper said stepping back a little
“Is there any windows or drafts around here?” Amanda asked trying to open the windows or see if it was slightly open
“Nah, the windows don’t open, never have pulse we don’t have not A/C “The ground keeper sighed wanting to get on with the tore
“In this room was where most of the family fighter took place, the neighbours apparently called the police around 5 times before they stopped and moved out leaving the house across the street empty for nearly 2 years “The ground keeper said facing the camera that was painted in his direction
“So did the fights often get aggressive? Or was it more of a noise complaining?” Colby asked walking around the table
“Oh, hey would get violent and just the screaming at each other and the threats of violence was enough for the police to get called, but apparently the wife was always the first to get violent, throwing plates and glasses around and at her husband” the ground keeper said looking at Colby
“Was the little girl ever removed? “Sam stepped in
“No, she’s still here “Amanda cut in looking to the kitchen
“I saw her peek her head out, almost seeing if the coast was clear to leave the kitchen” Amanda explained pointing to the kitchen door
“Your correct, the kid was never taken out of the custody. But there was no evidence of abuse towards the child so the police said there was no way she could be placed into a safer house “the grounds keeper explained sightly shocked that Amanda said what she did
No one didn’t anything but slightly nod their head signalling that they understood him.
The grounds keeper walked into the kitchen as he began to speak again
“This kitchen is one of the most active houses in the house other than the small cubed in (your names) room and the hallway. There was blood all over the kitchen floor, the police suspect- “
“Oh my god” Sam said touching the back of his neck
“What?” Amanda asked concerned for her friend
“I just felt a bot breath on my neck, and it freaked me out sorry” Sam apologised the grounds keeper
“As I was saying, the police suspect that the murder who ever they are killed the parents and walked down starts with the bloody knife that the murder used and walked into the kitchen where he ripped all the plates and glasses done and smashed them on the floor for whatever reason he had. Then went back upstairs and killer the girl” The grounds keeper said leaving out the horrible suspicion the police had about what also happened the kid after she died.
Amanda frowned, her eyebrows knitting together not understanding why a murder would come down stairs before killing the younger child, but chose not to say anything.
( Honestly time skip bc bored and I want to get to the investigation part so for the back story, your mother was killed by someone stabbing her in the chest 15 times and taking her eyes out and your dad as killed by someone cutting his neck, you were killed by your neck being cut and your wrists, and you were undressed and put into a sexual positions )
Once the ground keeper gave Sam and Colby the keys, he left leaving Amanda and the group alone.
“Ok, so this place defiantly had more than one spirits. I feel something dark are dangerous. Now that could be the parents or possibly the murder “Amanda said walking into the small powder room that came of from the living room looking at the small sink toilet and slightly cracked mirror.
“I thought there was only supposed to be one spirit here... the parent?” Sam questioned
“The only spirit reported here was the parents, but I saw the girl, she’s shy thought, I haven’t seen her since the broom got nocked over” Amanda said closing the door to the powder room
Sam nodes his head in agreement,
“Guys!” Colby shouts from upstairs making Sam start running up the stairs
“What?!” Sam yelled half up the stairs worrying something bad happened
Once Sam reached the room the relied on it was the parents’ room
“What?” Sam asked again looking at Colby
“The window is open “Colby whispered not talking his eyes of the windows
‘I thought the grounds keeper said they couldn’t open and never could “Sam questioned
‘He did” Amanda said coming out of no wear making the boys flinch from the shock
“This is the parents, right?” Amanda asked earning a nod from Sam
Colby finally looked away and said, “I was just setting up the music box at the front of the room, we were going to start here, right?” Colby questioned
“Yeah, that’s what I was thinking in the car up here” Sam said
“It’s still going to be a while until dark and I think we should do the parents room, then the living room, then the kids’ room so it will be late when we get to hers and she’ll feel more comfortable hopefully” Amanda commented
“Yeah, that sounds good” Sam said sitting on the bed and pulling out the EFM reader
“Ok, if any spirits want to communicate to us we have objects you can touch, we also give you full perdition to drain the battery from our phones if you need energy to talk to us” Colby says when they finish setting up all the cameras and lights
There is no response so Sam tries to talk
“If you are here I would greatly appreciate if you could give a clear sign by knocking the walls or touching one of our devi- “Sam stopped when he heard a loud nock on the walls
Looking at the camera with a shocked expression
“That was the cleared knock we’ve ever caught!” Colby says not believing that the camera got that
“If there is a spirit here, can you place touch one of these devises in the doorway?” Amanda asked
A few seconds latter the music box started going of and both Sam and Colby yelling in excitement
“Are you one or both of the parents of (your name)?” Colby asked
The spirit box chimed in with a
‘Possibly’
Making all the 3 of the group freak out
“That was so perfect! Oh My God! I can’t even believe! “Colby says
“No one’s going to believe that! It was to perfect!” Sam sighs rolling his eyes knowing how some people are on YouTube.
After around 40 minutes of trying to get the spirt(s) so communicate and getting nothing they divided to bring out the old estes metho, it was voted that Sam would be the receiver and they began.
Sam began putting on the make blindfold and got the headphones handed to him, already hearing the incredibly loud static noises. One he put the earphones Amanda pulled out a note book and turning to a new page.
“If there are any spirts here that want to communicate, please do so now “ Amanda said clicking her pen ready to start writing and nodding to Colby as if signalling him to start.
“Is there anyone open to speaking to us?” Colby asked
A small ‘ apparently’ can be headed from Sam’s headphones before he repeats the word
“Ok, are you the farther? “ Amanda askes
Waiting a few seconds before asking again
“Are you the father-“
“Me” Sam says cutting Amanda of making Colby gasp slightly looking at Amanda.
“Ok so your name is (your dads name) correct?” Colby askes
“You already know” Sam repeats
Colby is now smiling like a mad man now with the amazing relates they are now getting
“This is like a convocation!” Colby says to Amanda
Witch she only nods her head to
“What is a type of bird you know? “Amanda asks to make show the soon to be audience that Sam cant hear them asking the questions
“Why” Sam quested
“What is a type of bird you know? “Amanda asks again
The question is followed by a minute if complete silence with nothing to empty static to be headed
Finally Sam replies a answer
“Potoo” Sam says confused
Colby looked at Amanda to see if it was a real bird to be met with a nod
“Ok... How did you die? “Colby questioned
“Kinfe” Sam repeated slightly confused not understanding why he was repeating the strangest words
“OHMYGOD” Colby yells jumping to get the camera and show the now flashing bathroom light attached to the bedroom
“That’s turning on and off” Colby says to the camera pointing to the bathroom
“Need” Sam repeats
Amanda writes into her note book
“What do you need?” She askes trying to get more information
Colby puts the camera back as he sits down again
“Alive” Sam says
“Alive? You’re not alive your dead, how can you be alive?” Colby questions
“Power”
“Power? Is that how you can feel alive?” Amanda questioned
“Hopefully”
“So, you don’t know ye- “Amanda asks
“Pray” Sam cuts of Amanda without realizing
“Do you want us to pray? Why?” Colby askes
“No protection” Sam says confused
Colby takes his cross necklace out from under his shirt
“I am protected so are all my friends here because we have God on our side, you may not harm any of us” Colby says in a dominate manner to make the spirit realize and understand that they are untouchable
“Lie’s “Sam repeats
“No were not lying, God will protect us. And you will not harm any of us “Amanda says visualises a light bubble going over all 3 of them for protection
“Um …kill yourself” Sam mumbles not feeling comfortable with saying that to anyone
Colby is frowning
“Are a evil spirt?” Colby askes
“Take a guess” Sam repeats
Amanda turns to Colby and says “ I don’t like this and I think we should stop and move to a different room “
Colby stands up and taps Sam’s shoulder singling him to take of the headphones off where you can hear a small
“See soon “coming from the headphones
“Oh, shit that gave me full body shivers, did any of that make scenes?” Sam askes
“It made perfect sense it was like having a convocation. it was so clear!” Amanda replies
“I think we should take a small break before going into the living room and talk about what all of that could have meant, I wrote all questions we asked and what you said back” Amanda said holding up her notebook
“That sounds great, we should also get something to eat” Colby suggests
“Yes! I’m so hungry, that session took a lot out of me for some reason “
Amanda hums in agreement
(What is this ? yet another time skip. Yes )
Once they finished the living room it was around 2am and they hadn’t got much evidence in the living room other than a few words from the spirit box like ‘ evil’ , ‘ leave’ and ‘glass’,
Evonne had existed to go into the last room hoping that there was lots of activity.
Once they had set up everything, there was a music box in the door and in the closet,
The spirt box was out and set up and they all stood in the middle of the room wanting to sit on the bed
“So this was (Your names) bedroom, supposably the most haunted place in the room, but around 5 years ago it went quit and not many people have been able to contact her.
(Your name) was the last one to be killed in this crime scene...” Sam swallowed a pit that was beginning to form in his throat
Colby noticed this and took over explaining,
“When (your name) was killed they were undressed and put into a sexual position, the police suspect that the person responsible for this crime may have h-handled her… sexually” Colby breathed gesturing to the bed
“Were talking about a 9-year-old girl here, A child” Colby said sternly feeling disgusted and angry
“She’s here now” Amanda said looking down the hall
“Hi (your name) my name is Amanda and I’m a medium meaning I can see you, this is Sam and Colby there good friends, you don’t have to be shy, I’ve seen you all night quietly following us, why don’t you come in so we can talk? “ Amanda suggested
“We have this cute Boo bear for you to play with” Amanda says holding up and putting it back on the end of the bed
Amanda looked for a second before you diapered again
“I cant see her anymore” Amanda says keeping the boys in the loop.
It didn’t take long for the music box in the middle of the door frame to go of signalling someone standing there,
‘Sound ‘ The spirit box when of making Sam gasp
“Yeah! Yes that’s called a music box and it dose make sound” Sam says existed
The second music box went of the one in the closet,
It kept going to sighingly that someone was in the closet
‘off...?’ The spirit box says quietly almost questioning
“Do you want us to turn the music box of? If so, can you please turn on the flashlight near you?” Colby questions
It took a minute but the flashlight turned on making the boys and Amanda smile
“Thank you so much” Sam phrases you as he went up to move the box just enough, so it stopped picking you up in the ratter
“If your (Your name) can you please turn of-“ Amanda starts talking but stops when she noticed the light slowly turning of
“Thank you so much (You name), Do you think you can use the Spirit box to talk to us ?” Colby asked
There isn’t a response that they could hear so they asked the first question
“ (Your name) do you remember who killed you?” Amanda starts of strong
Amanda had to repeat the question one more time before you answered
‘hurt’ the box said
“Do you remember being hurt? “Sam tried
‘All time’ the box said
Colby took a shaking breath “I’m sorry that you feel hurt” He attempts to comfort you
It was quite for a bit.
They asked a couple more questions that you didn’t really answer
“Ok so (your name) doesn’t seem too happy to answer questions so we-“
‘can you say that again’ the boo bear went of
Colby gasps
“That means she said something” He whispers
“Can you say that into the spirit box? “ Amanda asked
After a few minuets after science they decided to keep talking
“Ok, so were going to start the estes method now, and I think its only far for Colby to be the receiver this time “ Sam smiles looking at Colby handing him the blind fold
After they got set up Colby sat on the floor not wanting to sit on the bed
‘Brr I’m so cold’ the Boo bear said singling a temp change
“Ok, (Your name) if you would like to communicate with us please use the spirit box and Colby will repeat it to us “ Amanda said trying to make you feel more comfortable to speak to them
‘ that tickles’ the Boo bear laughs making Sam gasp
“That means something touched its stomach”
Colby smiled as he put the blindfold and headphones on
“Hey (your name) do you like the Boo bear?” Amanda questioned
“extremely” Colby repeated
“That’s good it’s very cute isn’t it ?” Amanda smiled
“Do you remember who ki-“ Sam started
“ All the same” Colby repeated
“What is all the same? “ Amanda asked
“you” Colby said
“How are we the same?” Sam asked
“Hind”
Sam looked behind him into the pitch black hallway to see a shadow do down stairs making me shout in surprise “ Fuck!”
“What?” Amanda asked flinching from the volume of Sam’s voice
“I just, I just saw a shadow figure go downstairs after (Your name) told us to hide” Sam said standing up and putting his back to a wall rubbing his hand over his mouth
“That was the clearest one I have ever seen that freaked the fuck out “
“food” Colby says
“Food? Like are they in the kitchen ?” Amanda asked
“Are we safe now?” Sam askes
“Hopefully “Colby replies
“Ok.. Do you remember who killed you?” Sam asked
“close” Colby said
“Was it someone who was close to you?” Amanda askes
“yeah”
“Ok, were they a friend?” Sam asked
“Pray” Colby said
“Pray? Like do you want us to pray?” Amanda Asked
“No please” Same repeated
“Ok, so was it a someone who worked in a church?” Amanda asked
“positively “Colby said
“Ok… I’m sorry that happened to you” Sam said
“Is there anything we can do to help you move on?” Amanda asked

I've been playing through the entire collection of Nancy Drew PC p&c Mystery Adventure games, developed by HeR Interactive, on and off for the past few months. The subject of today's conversation is 2005's 'Nancy Drew: Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon,' the story of a supposedly haunted train ride to Copper Gorge and the multi-generational search for a missing mine hidden by the train's original owner. The train finally arrives at Copper Gorge, and the search for a descendent of the original conductor leads side character Frank Hardy to briefly work as a Short-Order Cook, flipping burgers for information. Which brings us to Order 120363, from table 14, served by Flo.
The Hayashi Burger.
A simple beef & bun affair, which includes avocado, tomato, cheese, and inexplicably mayo, pineapple, and fruit jelly (hereupon referred to as fruit jam as to not pander to 260,033,939 adult babies).
For this recipe I need:
an untoasted bun sliced horizontally,
a beef burger patty,
two slices of fresh avocado,
a slice of fresh beef tomato,
a slice of dubiously fresh grape jam (stolen from a motel in MA),
a slice of fresh pineapple,
a slice of fresh american plastic cheese,
and finally, a slice of fresh mayonaise.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please ignore the tin foil, it's just my reusable tin foil sheet collection.
With my accoutrement prepared and not needed to be cooked, the only thing we need to fry up is the beef.
Whilst that cooks, I'd like to take the opportunity to talk a little about my research into where a "Hayashi" burger actually comes from. The most coherrent definition of Hayashi I could find was the Japanese "Hayashi Beef" which is supposedly a derivative of the English "Hash" as in a beef hash. All recipes I found, however, use a demi-glace sauce containing onions, tomato and mushrooms to make more of a stew-style beef dish.
A YouTube recipe for "Burger Steak in Hayashi Sauce" appeared in my search results so I figured maybe watching would shine some light on this recipe. Perhaps it has been modernised to include Avocado, Fruit Jam, Pineapple, Cheese, and Mayo.
The video opens on a plate of pre-made pattys which are picked up by our protagonist, a person who wears their ring whilst handling raw meat (a level of dedication to a relationship I may never achieve). The pattys themselves clearly have chunks of diced onion incorporated into the meat; I would never claim to have the objective idea of the perfect burger, but as a bit of a burger snob myself I am adiment that pattys should be pure meat with salt and pepper, and that every other accoutrement be added after cooking. In the buns, not in the burger. Anyway, I'm critiquing the wrong things here. The burger pattys are fried and then set aside, and the residual beef grease is used to caramelise the onions and mushrooms...
Oh no, it's just onions and mushrooms again. My hopes for modernisation have been dashed once again. I was hoping the video's publishing date of October 2019 would be recent enough to overcome the sting of tradition.
Tumblr media
Another option explored was the restaurant "Hayashi" located in Leamington Spa, coincidentally the same postcode area where I grew up. The Restaurant's connection to Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon (2005) is a longshot considering the restaurant opened coincidentally in July of 2019, the same year as our previous Hayashi Burger Steaks recipe, and also coincidentally their website's indentity certificate expired two days ago (two Hardy boys).
Tumblr media
You know, all these coincidences are starting to add up. Perhaps something more sinister is at play here, some supernatural force calling me to this burger. I'm not one to claim "Demon" after a meager three coincidences, but I started to feel like completing this burger would summon a demon. I decided to cast a protection spell just incase.
For this recipe I need:
a candle,
a piece of dusty, antique jewlery,
an essential oil,
and a protective crystal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the purposes of this spell, watches count as jewlery.
They will watch over the following preceedings.
Tumblr media
After that everything should be a-ok, but be on the look out for apocalyptic indications, maybe someone push the doomsday clock forward a couple of minutes.
After a bad luck streak on the general web I took myself to the HeR Interactive website to check the FAQs, figuring this question is probably asked all the time.
Nothing, huh. Well, if you get nothing from the creators the next best place is the fans. However, after perusing the various forum posts still I came up empty handed.
Tumblr media
So, I suppose we may never know the origin story of the Hayashi burger. Well, unless some intrepid explorer were to send some sort of email to HeR Interactive, politely requesting some background information on the development of Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon…
Couldn't be me.
Tumblr media
Our beef burgers ended up a little underercooked but we'll just say medium rare is part of the recipe. Our burger lays on the bottom of the bun, which usually I would be firmly against as the rising heat will wilt all of our accoutrement, but this time whatever Nancy wants, Nancy gets. The avocado is next which creates an unstable balancing platform for the rest of our heavy ingredients which will in time smush the avocado down. Next, our slice of tomato which becomes a surface on which to spread our grape jam. The viscosity of the jam comes in handy to secure the pineapple slice in place, which for absolutely no reason is the recipient of the unmelted cheese slice. Finally, perhaps the biggest crime, mayonaise. Now, I would consider myself a huge fan of mayoniase, a 'stan' even. When I refer to mayonaise in this recipe as "criminal" I am mostly hung up on the combination of creamy mayo with sweet jam and sour pineapple.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is complete.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As with all happy memories, this needs to be captured on an analogue medium. Today we're using the Polaroid OneStep Express in Silver, using Polaroid Colour 600 film.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
#polaroidmoment #filmisnotdead
And, the moment of truth. It tastes…
Tumblr media
Horrendous.
It mostly just tastes of the pineapple which makes sense seems it's the most overpowering flavour in the whole burger. Damn you Australians. The grape jam adds about as much as a pinch of sugar would, which combined with the eggy, oily mayonnaise is a nightmarish pallet nauseator. The tomato and the avocado both bring nothing to the table, and need I even mention the unmelted cheese? Bleugh...
So, if you ever find yourself at a diner in the middle of the Colorado desert, do yourself a favour and just order the regular cheese burger. You may think you can trust the sweet waitress with the quaint name, but the short-order cook is completely new to this job and the burger might just have been thought up in a fever dream of jam sweats.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Tumblr media
Chapter 49: Who Are You?
After leaving the school, and at the moment not having to worry about any more supernatural things, Sam went to the Beacon Hills Antique Store where her mom and Grandmother worked.
Sam's grandmother, Anita, has owned the shop for 13 years. It had all types of things from books of different genres to ancient kitchen pans.
Sam thought of it more of a pawn shop for old, invaluable, unused things than just an antique shop, but it was her grandma's and she wasn't gonna downplay the business.
As she walked inside the rustic store, she looked around. It was empty. The door was open, but the sign was flipped to close.
Someone had to be here. "Ma? Gramma?", she called.
She walked around the store and looked around. Seemed like new items had come in every time she visited. How many antique things are even in Beacon Hills?
She walked around the counter in the far end of the store that held other items and leaned on the counter.
She looked around once more. This place was old, but her grandma took care of it like it wasn't. Even the floors hardly squeaked.
Or so she thought as she stepped on the rug behind the counter. She frowned. Why was this the only place where it squeaked? Was she trying to hide this part of the floor from the customers?
No one was allowed to go behind the counter anyways so why the rug?
As she walked over it to test the floor again, she felt something hard under her foot. It felt like a handle.
She kicked the rug to the side and saw a hatch. She frowned. Was this where her grandma kept the goods?
Why hadn't she known about this?
She looked at the front door once more before looking back at the hatch. For some reason, she felt a sense of anguish just from being so close to the door. Was it because the place was so old? Did her grandma keep some things that could be tied to restless spirits, like a Ouija board?
She reached for the handle. Before she could open it, she heard the jingle bell of the front door and immediately covered the hatch correctly.
She crawled behind a shelf and waited to see who had come into the store. Lo and behold, it was her mother. Sam sighed softly in relief and came around the shelf she was hiding behind, shocking her mom.
"When'd you get here?", she asked, sighing in relief. "A couple of minutes ago.", Sam shrugged. "Figured I'd visit before going home."
Her mom smiled. "It's good you come over after your little werewolf business.", she joked. Sam rolled her eyes with a smile. "Yeah, well, I'm heading out. I'll see you at home.", Sam said and quickly left.
On the way to the house, Sam's mind was running with rushing thoughts. What was the hatch really for?
Why did it feel so… cold and haunting…?
Even throughout the night, she couldn't sleep. She couldn't shake the feeling she had. Why hadn't she noticed that feeling before? She was always so good with reading empathetic atmospheres, so why couldn't she feel that?
What did her grandma have in there?
She sighed as she sat in the library with Stiles the next day. "You think it has something to do with your family line of witches?", Stiles asked.
"What made you think that?", Sam asked. Stiles gave her a knowing look. "Sam, your mom went to your grandma for spells to protect you. I'd say it's a family line thing."
She frowned. "She... never mentioned it being a family thing. I figured my grandma knew something, but...she didn't teach my mom a thing. At least from what she told me."
Stiles frowned. "She didn't say anything else?" Sam shook her head. "At the time, I didn't think to ask her more. We'd just gotten over the Darach and I was just happy to have her back home. After that, I was just doing things my way instead of going to my grandma about it."
Sam shrugged. "I haven't even told her about my new powers. Figured... Wasn't any point of shoving anymore stress down her throat.", she gave a half hearted smile. "She doesn't need that."
He nodded. It made sense. She just assumed her grandma knew some things about Beacon Hills and went with it.
That didn't answer her question, though. Why was there a hatch that didn't just seem suspicious, but felt like it too?
Aside from the young Wilson's suspicions, a certain person had come back home the next day. Two certain persons, to be exact.
"I can't believe you let him throw you in the Eichen House."
Peter Hale frowned at his nephew. "He said I deserved it."
His nephew shook his head. "You're ridiculous and so is he. How'd you even break out?", Derek asked.
Peter shrugged. "Power kinda shut down and I just took the chance.", he said, then gave him a smirk with a raised eyebrow. "You didn't really think I'd stay there, did you? I'm insane, but not that insane."
As they made their way over to the couch, they paused, standing in front of it.
Derek's nose twitched at the scent of Sam. What the hell happened.
He looked at his uncle who looked back at him with the same frown. "Should I be concerned and call someone?", Peter asked.
Derek wasn't sure. He was confused. What happened while he was gone? He didn't smell anyone else's scent in here but a small whiff of Scott and Stiles, but he doubted that they'd do anything to hurt her that bad.
He sniffed softly, then continued sniffing once he got a familiar, but unrecognizable scent. Two unrecognizable scents.
"What?", Peter asked, watching his nephew in confusion. "You don't smell that?", Derek asked. Peter sniffed and frowned as he got up.
"We have some uninvited guests?", Peter muttered.
Derek left the loft, silently following the scent of the trespassers.
"They couldn't have moved here. Maybe you're wrong.", he heard as he made his way down to the parking garage.
Derek frowned as he and Peter snuck up on the two intruders, quickly rushing at them both and knocked them down.
The two intruders growled and attacked the Hales back. The Hales shifted and growled back, attacking the trespassers, punching and slashing at them.
The Hales eventually knocked the intruders out, panting heavily as they stared at them. Derek frowned as he looked at them.
"Let's bring them inside.", Derek said, dragging one of the intruders inside while Peter shook his head and dragged the other.
The Hales stared at their captives tied to one of the pillars in the loft in wonder. Derek, especially. What were they here for? Who were they looking for?
"One of them said "they couldn't have moved here".", Derek told his uncle. Peter looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Who's they?", Peter asked. Derek let out a sigh. "We'll have to figure that out when they come to."
Moments later, the intruders did wake and glared at the Hale men.
"Who the hell are you?", Derek asked the seemingly older captive. The man was on the mocha side, his face occupied a thick beard that squared his face. His hair seemed freshly cut, though a scar could be seen from his eyebrow to his hairline.
His dark eyes held sparks of anger and yet Derek could see that he wasn't normal. He wasn't a human. Neither of them were.
This older man was an alpha. The younger captive looked similar to him in the face. Must be a relative. Probably his beta.
The beta glared at Derek and Derek could only look at him unimpressed. He didn't seem as dark as his relative, though his hair was a bit longer with medium length dreads.
His face was also squared by light scruff, but a scar could be seen on the bridge of his nose. Must've gotten it before he was bitten.
The only thing that bothered Derek so bad was the fact that now the two captives were in his home, they held a familiar smell that made him frustrated and set with slight worry.
"Who are you after?", Derek asked. The beta responded. "We're looking for a girl."
Derek frowned and glanced at his uncle who frowned as well. Peter crossed his arms, "And this girl would be?"
"Her name is Samantha Wilson. Have you seen her?", the alpha spoke. Derek clasped his hands together, resting his arms on his knees as he sat on the arm of the couch.
"What do you want with this girl?", Peter asked. This seemed to anger the beta. "Have you seen her or not!?"
"We don't just give away information like that to intruders. You two were trespassing. Why?", Derek asked. The alpha spoke up. "We smelled her scent here. We thought she was here, or at least lived here."
"In this dump? Please.", Peter said, making Derek give him a low, insulted growl.
Though, they had a point. Derek smelled the remnant smell of Sam's pain all over his couch once he came in and he didn't understand why. Why was she in so much pain? Who caused it?
However, these two smelled like her as well. The fact that they did bothered him. Why were they looking for Sam so bad? Was she around them recently? Did they kidnap her? Did she escape? If so, then where?
He'd have to go to Scott about it. Actually…
Derek turned to his uncle. "Give me your phone.", he said. Peter looked at him incredulously. "For?", Peter asked.
"Just give it here.", Derek pressed. The older man sighed and pulled out his phone, handing it to his nephew.
Derek quickly dialed Scott's number. Scott immediately picked up. "Peter, what the hell are you doing?"
"Scott, it's me.", Derek clarified. "Wha– Derek, how'd you get Peter's phone? Are you back?", Scott rushed.
"Nevermind that. Where's your friends?", Derek asked.
"Stiles and Sam? They're still at the school. It's a free period.", Scott informed. Derek frowned. He'd have to wait. It wasn't any good to bring her here then send her back to school.
"I'll meet you at her house after school.", Derek said. "O…kay?", Scott said and Derek hung up.
Derek turned to the captives and looked at them. "You're coming with us."
Still bound, Derek and Peter shoved the two werewolves in the back of his car and drove to Sam's house.
Mrs. Wilson's car was in the driveway, indicating that she was home. This could either be a good thing or a bad thing if his assumptions were correct.
Derek parked on the curb and brought the captives out. Peter trailed behind them in case anything would have happened.
However, the two werewolves weren't bothered with moving anywhere. They were in slight shock that this stranger knew the house they had been in before.
Derek knocked on the door and heard soft footsteps paddling over to the door. He looked down as he saw Sam's mom in the doorway, a soft smile plastered on her face.
"Derek. I haven't seen you in a while, how are you?", she greeted. Derek wished he could give the same sentiment. "We have to talk.", he said instead.
The older woman frowned and peered around him, her shoulders dropping from sudden realization as she looked at the captives who stared back in disbelief.
Sam's mom quickly let them in, her eyes tracking the captives. Derek pulled her to the side, whispering to her. "I don't know if this is gonna be a bad idea, or what, but we just need to ask you a couple of things just to confirm something. After that, we'll leave right away.", Derek reassured.
The older woman nodded, still staring at his captives. He watched as her bottom lip trembled and her scent of sadness mixed with relief filled the dining room.
The same scent came from the beta who looked back at the woman with furrowed eyebrows.
"Mom…"
The Hales' eyes widened at word the beta uttered. Derek frowned. If this is her son, then this is the brother Sam had told him about after she tried comforting him that night in her room.
"You're Samantha's brother?", Peter asked, then turned to the alpha. "That'd mean you're her father."
The alpha nodded. Derek moved to untie the werewolves. This wasn't something he was expecting to come back home to. He had so many questions.
Of course he was curious about the Wilson family and why Sam had grown up without her full family household.
She hadn't specified it, which he respected, and technically had no room to question, considering his dysfunction family, but he was still naturally curious.
"Is she okay, mom? Where is she?", Sam's brother asked his mother. She frowned sadly. "She's at school. She's okay… it's just," She sighed. "This is gonna be a lot on her. I hope you two know this."
The older brother frowned while his father didn't bother making any eye contact. Hours passed and it was time for the teens to arrive.

Gravity Falls gender representation analysis
Tumblr media
Gravity Falls is an animated TV show created by Alex Hirsch that aired from 2012 - 2016 on Disney. There are only two seasons, but the show has built a dedicated fan base that continues to grow even after its conclusion. The series, set in the mysterious town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, follows the summer adventures of twin siblings, Dipper and Mabel Pines, as they unravel supernatural mysteries, encounter peculiar creatures, and navigate the complexities of family and friendship.
What sets Gravity Falls apart is its unique blend of humor, heartwarming moments, and a narrative that seamlessly weaves together overarching mysteries. Creator Alex Hirsch's clever writing and commitment to character development have left a lasting impact on viewers of all ages. The show's memorable characters, from the lovably eccentric Grunkle Stan to the enigmatic Bill Cipher, have become iconic figures in popular culture. Gravity Falls not only entertains with its imaginative storytelling but also delves into themes of identity, friendship, and the acceptance of the unknown. Gravity Falls' influence extends beyond its on-screen presence, inspiring a myriad of fan theories, artistic creations, and a thriving online community. Its cultural impact is a testament to the show's ability to resonate with audiences and spark discussions on various social and philosophical topics.
By examining specific characters and relationships, including Dipper's encounter with manliness and the unique dynamic between the two sheriffs, we can unveil how the show challenges and transcends traditional gender representations.
Judith Butler's notion of performativity finds resonance in Dipper's encounter with manliness in the episode, “Dipper vs Manliness” (S1E6). In her essay, Butler argues, "That it must repeat this imitation, that it sets up pathologizing practices and normalizing sciences in order to produce and consecrate its own claim on originality and propriety, suggests that heterosexual performativity is beset by an anxiety that it can never be finally or fully achieved, and that it is consistently haunted by that domain of sexual possibility that must be excluded for heterosexualized gender to produce itself” [1]. In other words, Butler explains despite the efforts to adhere to established norms, there is a persistent fear that the performance of heterosexuality is never fully achieved or secure.
The episode begins with Dipper wanting to win the approval of Stan and Mable by scoring high in a “Manliness tester” game. They both laugh at the idea of Dipper being “manly.” Frustrated, Dipper plays the game but gets the lowest level, wimp. Later on, he meets a mythical creature in the forest, called a Manotaur. These large bearded creatures embody all of the stereotypical “manly” qualities Dipper seeks–tall, deep voice, chest hair, buff. The creature brings Dipper to the “man cave” where all of the Manotuars live. In order to join the clan, Dipper must pass a series of tests to prove his manliness. At the final test, Dipper folds and accepts that he is not the “manly” person he hoped to be. He expresses his feelings to the Manotaurs, saying: “You keep telling me that being a man means doing all these tasks and being agro all the time, but I’m starting to think that stuff’s malarkey.”
Dipper's reluctant participation in the “manliness tests" reflects the performative nature of gender. The episode deconstructs traditional notions of masculinity by showcasing Dipper's discomfort with stereotypical expressions of manliness. His resistance to conformity challenges the established gender norms within the narrative.
It’s not uncommon for the series to use a mythical species to represent certain stereotypes or insecurities. In this episode, the Manotaurs are the portrayal of Dipper's insecurities of gender performativity. The Manotaurs other Dipper and his characteristics by making him feel inferior to their exaggerated, hyper-masculine standards. This not only highlights the external pressures individuals face in conforming to societal expectations of masculinity but also underscores the detrimental impact of such expectations on one's self-perception. Gravity Falls skillfully employs fantastical elements to delve into real-world issues, encouraging audiences to critically examine and challenge societal norms surrounding gender and identity.
Creator Alex Hirsch likes to hide subtle clues of LGBTQ representation in certain characters (he’s explained many times that it’s insanely hard to get most things through Disney’s censor). However, the relationship between Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland seems to be the most clear example. The two characters are the town’s police officers, who appear as recurring characters in many episodes. The dynamic between Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland provides a fascinating exploration of gender representation. The duo subverts expectations by embodying traditionally masculine roles in law enforcement while also sharing a close bond that challenges traditional expressions of masculinity. They share a close bond, expressing things like, “The time we spend together is treasure enough,” and “Edwin darling, you are a diamond in the rough.” In almost all Western depictions of police officers, they embody hyper-masculine traits, as being fearless and stoic seems to be inherently part of the job. The sheriff’s dynamic challenges the binary understanding of gender, showcasing the fluidity inherent in Butler's theory. In the last episode, their romantic relationship is confirmed: “We’re mad with power… and love,” they declare while looking into each other's eyes. Creator Alex Hirsch also confirmed this at a charity event, and has repeatedly explained how hard it was to get past Disney’s censors. Hirsch has also revealed dozens of scenes originally written to have openly gay characters that got slashed by Disney. Unfortunately, a company as big as Disney has ultimate power over what is and isn’t aired. While there isn’t any other direct LGBTQ representation in the show, the blame should be put on Disney, not Alex Hirsch. Most likely Disney provided the outlet for him to create this show, but in turn, blocked many of his creative ideas.
Gravity Falls, through the characters of Dipper, Sheriff Blubs, and Deputy Durland, becomes a compelling exploration of gender representation. The show aligns with Judith Butler's gender theory by deconstructing traditional norms, emphasizing the performative nature of gender, and challenging the rigidity of binary constructions. Dipper's resistance to manliness and the nuanced dynamic between Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland collectively contribute to Gravity Falls' progressive portrayal of gender identities. In doing so, the show invites audiences to question and redefine societal expectations, demonstrating the transformative potential of animated narratives in challenging and reshaping cultural perspectives on gender.

“I’m glad you’re remodeling the old throne room, Li.” Drake told him as he viewed the blueprints. “You know I don’t believe in all that supernatural crap, but it’s a little….creepy in here.”
“I thought the place could use a facelift.” Liam replied, “Besides, what do we need two throne rooms for? I’m thinking bowling alley!”
It was a mystery why the old one had stopped being used. There was nothing structurally wrong with it, even though it was close to four hundred years old. It had been sealed off and forgotten three centuries ago.
“Hey, guys, there you are!” A voice called from the doorway. “They told me I could find you in here.”
Liam turned to greet his new guest, “Hey, Max. Come on in.”
Max hesitated at the threshold as his eyes swept the room. Dark, dank, the smell of mildew permeated the air. Dark stone floors, tall, stained-glass windows threw long, reddened shadows across the dim interior. The ceiling rose upwards three stories, with huge, exposed wooden beams. Candle chandeliers hung from the ceiling along the length of the room. Two thrones sat at the far end of the room on a raised dais, burnished gold gleaming dully in the deepening gloom. A chill crawled down his spine as he took in the murky interior, inky blackness coalescing in the corners, glimmering, almost breathing.
“N-No thanks.” He stepped back over the threshold, the hair on the back of his neck standing up as goosebumps erupted all over his body.
“What’s up with him?” Drake frowned.
Liam shrugged, “Don’t know, but come on. Let’s go get some lunch!”
Drake exited the room first. Liam followed behind him. As he reached the doorframe, he felt something brush the back of his neck. Like a lover’s soft exhale. He spun back toward the interior, peering into the gloom. Nothing but an empty room greeted him. He glanced up at the ceiling. A draft was getting in somewhere.
“You coming, Li?” Drake and Max were already halfway down the hall.
“Yeah, I’m coming.” He hurried through the doorway, sure that he heard a faint voice whisper his name. He dismissed it as a combination of stress and lack of adequate sleep.
Four hours later, construction paused as a hole in the wall revealed a horrifying secret. A body, the clothes mostly rotted away, clinging to remnants of bone.
The crew stood around as the medical team swarmed the room. “We’re going to need to slowly remove the rest of this wall so we can get the skeleton out intact.”
“How old do you think it is?” The foreman asked.
“Hard to say until we can get a better look at it.” The medical examiner told him, “But this room has been sealed up for centuries, right?”
“Yeah. What’s really weird is how dry it is inside this wall.” He said as his gaze fell on the glistening dampness of the stone floor. The wall itself was incongruous with the rest of the room. The other three walls still just the original stone. It’s why Liam had ordered it torn out.
“We’ll have to be careful not to damage the skeleton. It will be slow going. We’ll start in the morning!” The foreman replied before turning to his crew and shooing them out. They had already been dismissed for the day, but everyone had stuck around to gawk at the gruesome discovery.
The men filtered out of the room and the door was pulled closed for the night. The sun went down. Darkness spilled across the stone. In the deep, quiet stillness of the night, something stirred inside the wall. It lifted and pulled away from the bundle of cloth and bone, freed from its prison at long last. The door to the throne room slowly creaked open.
The quiet, darkness of the old throne room was a stark contrast to what was going on down the original hallway, around the corner and down the main hallway of the palace. The grand ballroom was lit brightly with electric lights, music from a live orchestra spilled out of the room and flowed down the hallways, echoing distantly down the ancient hallway. Liquor and laughter flowed freely, handsome men in elegant tuxedos twirled beautiful women around as their dresses of fine linen, lace, tulle and silk fanned out as they danced, vibrant colors on display.
Neville VanCouer was a little tipsy as he staggered down the grand hallway in search of a bathroom. He’d been to the palace many times, but a bit too much champagne had him turned around. He was standing at the wrong end of the hallway, the one intersected with the hall leading to the older parts of the palace. He corrected his course, ready to head back toward the bathrooms when he heard his name.
“Neville.” A woman’s voice, soft and pleasing, tempting, alluring. He shivered as a sliver of desire pulled through him.
The voice called again, and he corrected course again, stumbling down the four hundred year old hallway toward the enticing voice.
Liam stood at the bar, feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders. The bourbon helped. He threw back his third or fourth glass of the night. Sleep had become an elusive thing since his brother’s abdication. Perhaps tonight the alcohol would help. He glanced at his watch. It was late, the ball was winding down. He said his goodbyes to the guests, waiting for the ballroom to empty before heading up to bed.
He made his way through the darkened palace halls alone. Drake had disappeared with the daughter of a count an hour ago.
“Liam.”
He froze as he heard his name. He glanced up and down the hallway in confusion. “Hello?”
No one answered. He shrugged it off and continued his trek toward the royal chambers.
He showered and changed, but sleep was still elusive. He poured himself another tumbler of bourbon and pulled open the ornate French doors, letting the cold winter air waft into the room. He stepped onto the balcony and his gaze turned toward the tower that housed the old throne room. It was in the north wing of the palace, visible from his vantage point. His gaze fixed on it. He felt a pull toward it, an overwhelming desire to leave his room and follow the voice. Somehow, he knew that’s where it was coming from. She was calling him, and he wanted to answer.
Bourbon forgotten on the baluster, the young prince hurried back through the French doors and across his room. He threw open the door only to collide with the person on the other side. She was standing there, hand raised to knock. “Oof!”
“Sorry, Liv! What are you doing here this late?”
“I came to check on you.” She gave him a strange look, “What are you doing rushing out of your room at this hour?”
“I…I couldn’t sleep.” It wasn’t a lie. It wasn’t the truth either.
“Still having trouble sleeping?” She pushed past him into the room.
“Yes.” He reluctantly shut the door with a sorrowful glance into the hallway.
“Let me fix you the Nevrakis nightcap special.”
“If it’s bourbon, I’ve already tried that.”
She gave him a fond smile as she shooed him into a chair, “Sit. Trust me.”
He sat. He trusted her. Liv was his best friend, aside from Drake.
With her body between Liam and the drink cart, Olivia mixed bourbon, apple cider, and seltzer. She deftly pulled a small, green vial from her pocket and dumped the contents into the drink. She stirred it all together and added a cherry before turning and handing it to Liam.
He took it doubtfully, “I don’t see how adding fruity shit to my bourbon is going to help, Liv. No offense.”
“None taken. Just try it. For me.”
“Fine.” He sighed. The drink went down smoothly. It was good, just the right amount of sweetness blended with a faint hint of crisp Cordonian apples. Warmth and contentment seeped through his body, sinking into his very bones as he sipped it. Tension eased, and stress drained away. “Damn. That is good.”
Olivia pulled the royal blue comforter and sheets back and gestured to the bed, “Why don’t you lie down? I’ll get out of here and let you sleep.”
“Good idea. Thanks, Liv.” He mumbled as he crawled under the covers. Sleep pulled him quickly under as the elixir worked its magic.
Oliva slipped out of his room and down the hallway, her mind spinning with a wealth of new information. An ancient evil had awakened, and with it, her memories.
When the construction crew entered the original throne room in the morning, another gruesome surprise awaited them. Once again construction stalled as the medical team swarmed the room. This time the body was fresh.
Neville VanCouer was dead.
“There’s not a mark on him, no blood loss, no sign of trauma at all.” The chief of palace security told Liam.
Max had spent the night at the palace and had been having breakfast with Drake and Liam when they got the call, so he’d tagged along. “So, it’s like something just sucked the life force out of him?”
“Don’t be dramatic, Max.” Drake scoffed, “There will be an autopsy. He probably had an undiagnosed heart condition or something. Maybe he suffered a stroke.”
“He was awfully young for a heart attack or stroke.” Max said doubtfully.
Liam had other concerns. “But what was he doing here? In this part of the palace in the first place? It makes no sense!”
“Your Majesty?” A young lieutenant approached him.
“Yes?”
“Has anyone appraised you of the other body that was found?”
Liam blinked slowly, “What other body?”
The guardsman took them to the wall and explained the discovery that had been made the night before.
Drake let out a low whistle, “I told you this room was creepy. Right, Max? Max?”
He looked around the room, but Max was gone.
“He left the minute they said skeleton in the wall.” Liam chuckled. “As if a centuries old skeleton could hurt anyone. Come on, let’s go finish breakfast. There’s nothing more we can do here right now anyway.”
“Yeah.” Drake agreed, unease spreading in his gut. “They’ll call us when they know something.”

o que você recomendaria para quem quer assistir e ler sobre coisas sobrenaturais? sua criatividade (principalmente em breaking dawn) me fez me interessar pelo assunto, mas sou meio estúpida para procurar essas coisas 👉👈
First few seasons of Supernatural (2005), watch more if you want to suffer and experience true Purgatory
I'm also Literally always inspired by The X-Files even though that's kinda more aliens and government conspiracies than supernatural creatures, but I remember there being a haunted doll episode that LITERALLY traumatized me lol
Another REALLY GOOD movie and show would be What We Do in the Shadows. That's vampires and some werewolf stuff, but what really shines is the spin-off show, Wellington Paranormal. PEAK FICTION!!!!!
And then there's the best movie ever made of all time real not clickbait, Evil Dead 2. Aka, the best movie ever made of all time real not clickbait. It's demons and shit, actual peak fiction. It's the movie that blasted its lead actress with 50+ gallons of fake blood to the face for a full like ten second blood blast
And, if you like that, there's actually a Broadway musical of the Evil Dead! I saw a local production of it on the day of the QSMP Festa Junina event and ended up missing the First Spiderbit Date Ever because of it, but that's fine because the show is PEAK!!!
For ghosts, Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun is a REALLY good manga! I own a couple volumes, it's REALLY GOOD! (even if what i've heard about recent things has been. bad lol)
For the Unknown, I gotta go with Color Out of Space (the movie, I don't like the short story)
For demons, and I'm sure you've heard of this one, you HAVE to play Faith: The Unholy Trinity. It's SO GOOD!!!!!!!
And, for general just Scary Things, literally anything by Junji Ito
But, really, I got most of my supernatural stuff right from my own head. It's basically a mixture of what I think would be cool and what would scare me personally with a dash of real world superstitions. I like to do some folk research first, just for fun!

It felt like an eternity but you finally fell asleep. You’re not really sure what time it was when you, but you guessed it was around 3am. Lately your sleep hasn’t been too great. You try to go to bed at a decent time but for whatever reason, it feels like somethings been keeping you up. You hear strange noises, see things in the corner of your eye. If you didn’t know any better you’d think your house was haunted. As unfortunate as your sleep schedule has been, at least you wake up to the reward of your favorite cereal, Boo Berry.
As your body went deeper and deeper into sleep, you finally felt at peace. There were no dreams tonight. Much like tonight, you never really had dreams, just fade to black and two seconds later it’s time to wake up. Tonight however felt… different. The darkness seemed… longer? Well, what could you do? If this is what it takes to get a good night's rest, then so be it. Here you are, embracing the dark. Nothing to do but wait for morning to roll around.
. . .
Hmm….
. . .
Mmmhff-uuuck
. . .
Odd. You could’ve sworn you felt something brush your clit just then. Not a physical touch, more like a cold pressure. Maybe I’m having some sort of weird sex dream? Yeah, that’s gotta be it. It’s been a while since you’ve had one of those. Might as well give in and enjoy it. Just as you accept your brain's choice of dream, you feel another cold pressure on your clit, this time longer. It almost felt like your clit was being rubbed but again, not physical touch, just pressure. You could feel your body leaning into the made up touch.
Your mind was reeling. You felt so good. Suddenly it felt like something plunged into you. Like phantom fingers. You felt whatever it was curl inside you and thrust in and out, occasionally brushing where you’re most sensitive. You were panting. Pressure was building within you. The thrusting sped up, edging you closer and closer to release. Just as the pressure was about to make you cum, you gasp awake from your slumber and see a white blur hovering over you. Was that…? No, it couldn’t be. The mascot of your favorite cereal was currently fingering you. If you weren’t so deep in the throes of pleasure, you would be terrified right now. You chose to put aside the fact that a fictional supernatural being was making you feel so incredible and let your mind and body succumb to your climax. Boo Berry kept fingering you through your orgasm as you shook violently from the pleasure. He slowed to a stop and you just laid there breathlessly staring, trying to make sense of what in the hell is going on right now.
“Are you re-”
Before you could finish, Boo Berry somehow turned your body and propped you up on your hands and knees. You tried to protest but as soon as you started to speak you felt something large and girthy slide into your cunt. Just like his fingers, it didn’t feel like anything was actually there, but it was the same pressure (and pleasure) a dick would feel like. You couldn’t believe he was able to penetrate you through your pajamas!
Boo Berry didn’t give you much time to think of supernatural logistics and started roughly thrusting in and out of you. Your pussy was still tight from cumming only minutes ago. It just made the feeling that much more intense. You had to brace yourself on your headboard from how much he was rocking your body.
Boo Berry grabbed your hair and lifted you up so your back was against his… chest? It didn’t matter. This position totally changed the angle he was hitting you at. You let out a long string of curses. Boo Berry was only encouraged by this and started pounding into you harder. His other ghostly hand made its way to your breasts, grouping and pinching, making your back arch and causing him to perfectly hit your g-spot.
You load moans only spurred on the fruity spirit and he kept thrusting into that sweet spot. You were getting close. As you started to get lost in the pleasure, you noticed that your furniture started levitating slightly. Was.. Boo Berry close too? Just then, Boo Berry moved his hand from your breast to his clit and started rubbing. Yep, he’s definitely close.
You came. Hard. Harder than you ever have before. The mix of excitement and fear made you lose control. A few more thrusts and Boo Berry was cumming too. Your furniture crashed down from the air. You were then dropped onto your bed, out of breath, eyes closed just trying to wrap your head around tonight's events and ground yourself. That when it hit you. The smell of … blueberry(?) hit your nose. Your eyes cracked open but much to your dismay, the spirit was gone. Just his scent lingered.
Exhaustion hits you hard and you soon feel asleep. That night you dreamt only of spector that visited you and gave you one of the best, most thrilling experiences of your night. You only hoped he’d visit again.

(yuko araki, she/her, human) To KANON KRESS, the whole world looks like an open page. With a leap of faith, their skills in DIVINATION grows a little stronger. For TWENTY-NINE years, they have survived a world of magic with both their INDIVIDUALISTIC and CYNICAL. They work as an ASSISTANT TO THE DIMENSION WITCH, but if they could change their fate, they’d want to UNDERSTAND HER ORIGINS & WHY SHE WAS BORN WITH PSYCHIC ABILITIES (moonie, 22, she/her, est) + the unlucky charm
name: kanon emerald kress
age: twenty-nine
gender: cis female, she & her
species: human
magical discipline: divination
powers: sixth sense, spirit awareness and communication
occupation: assistant to the dimension witch
mbti: intp
zodiac: capricorn
the first time kanon kress saw a spirit she was three years old and trying to tie her shoes for the very first time.
three years prior her parents (though not by birth) had found her wrapped in a tiny blanket on the porch of their ramshackle cabin in somber town with a note pinned to her, "please help her." the only three words from her mother that she'd ever known
kanon had always been an inquisitive child, mature for her age-reticent and reserved. it was only seeing a dowdy old woman standing above her with the clear marks of death on her face that shook even a toddler's steely calm.
from that point on kanon knew she was different from everyone else in somber town. spirits appeared to her frequently, and not always with good intentions. while some were kind simply lost on their way to the afterlife others desperately wanted to find a way back to the world of the living and used her body as a conduit
in the magic averse village of somber town it was difficult to find someone who could exorcise kanon, often enduring dangerous trips through the mountains while possessed to help their daughter
her powers made her an outcast in town and she spent most of her time solitarily in her cabin, tearing through any books she could get her hands on about divination
when she was sixteen the decision was made to send her to sephia to live with a few cousins so that she could have easier access to help should a spirit possess her again
it was then she first encountered the dimension witch. maru and moro all but sprinted to drag her in when they sensed her power and her turmoil and there the dimension witch offered her a deal. she would grant her an object of such great psychic power it would protect her from possession and from seeing most spirits. but the cost would be so great that her debt would cost a lifetime for a human.
desperate to feel normal for once in her life and protect herself kanon agreed and was granted a psychic ring that dulled her abilities.
she found though she didn't mind working for the dimension witch. though she was paying off a debt she was still afforded a living paycheck for her time. she enjoyed the more mundane tasks like keeping up the shop. the job offered her a level of privilege she would have otherwise been unable to attain.
in need of her services the dimension witch sent her to college to study divination. there kanon began to come out of her shell for the first. snarky, cynical, and jaded for sure but also a deeply loyal friend and a good partner for darts.
though the question of her origin had always weighed on her mind. why had someone given her up, why had they left her in somber town of all places, why was she granted supernaturally proficient psychic abilities seemingly from birth?
as time went on kanon became more comfortable with herself and her abilities, performing increasingly more complicated tasks and responsibilities at the behest of her master.
she would have been content to live a normal life in sephia without any grand adventures had flashes of memory not begun to return to her. a woman in maroon coat, a grey rock graveyard, a candle dying in a wisp of smoke.
for the past month memories have haunted her and she can feel increasingly strong spirits attempting to make contact. as the boundary encroaches on cagliostro kanon's sixth sense warns her of eminent danger. and all she's left to wonder is if there's anything she can do about it?
connections
friends - the few friends kanon does have she holds close. she would have met them in college or working at the shop.
patrons - anyone who's entered wish fulfillment in the past thirteen years knows kanon. these people have employed her services whether it be just to get in touch with the dimension witch or see into the spirit world
ex-something? - kanon is famously reticent which makes keeping relationships up a bit of a hassle. though this one started out strong eventually her habit of hiding every single emotion she had caused them dissolve
link to the past - this person claims to have known something about kanon's family but despite her prying they've yet to give up the information much to her disappointment
somber town - a fellow resident of somber town who knew or at least knew of kanon and her reputation. now that they're both in sephia will their feelings change? or will they still regard her as an outcast?
will add more as i think of them!

Book Blurb: Set more than one hundred years after the Borden murders, this propulsive, supernatural thriller imagines what might happen if history were to repeat itself today. Perfect for fans of Kara Thomas and Courtney Summers!
When Mariella Morse accuses her boyfriend, Vik Gomez, of murdering her wealthy parents with an axe, the town is quick to believe her. It doesn’t help that Vik is caught standing over her parents’ bodies with blood on his hands, unable to remember anything about the night in question.
But Vik’s sister, Tessa, knows that Vik would never be capable of such a gruesome crime. Haunted by the mistakes she made that led her family to move to Fall River, MA in the first place, she sets out to prove her brother’s innocence.
Tessa’s search for answers will lead her into a sprawling, notoriously cursed forest, where she and Mariella must face a darkness that has lurked within their town since before the days of Lizzie Borden—the original axe murderess of Fall River.
Review:
A paranormal teen slasher inspired by the Lizzie Borden murders! Mariella Morse is a beautiful and wealthy white girl who's parents are murdered with an axe... and the person she's accusing of doing it? Her boyfriend Vik Gomez, a person of color who is poor. It doesn't help that Vik is caught standing over Mariella's parents' bodies covered in blood and with an axe at his feet, however he doesn't have any memories of the night in question. Now it's up to his sister, Tessa to prove that Vik isn't the one responsible and that something else is going on. Tessa's search for the truth will spiral out of control and soon she'll find that the real villain was someone she never saw coming. While the story is suppose to be Lizzie Borden inspired, I was really hoping it would be more female focused and inciting, rather than *spoilers* have the main villain be a boy who not only is a psychopath and is drugging girls but violates and touches the other one without her consent. It just felt really gross and I did not enjoy this take on the book at all. I was expecting something much different than what I actually read. This story is very much a paranormal mystery and if that's what you are looking for then this is perfect for you.
*Thanks Netgalley and Random House Children's, Delacorte Press for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review*

Nettelia

History
First daughter of Eden, like the others, Nettelia was crafted by the artisan Prometheus and given life by Titania and Ulthar. Chosen by The First to safeguard the people of Eden and the Two Trees: Laurelin and Telperion, Nettelia and her siblings grew up eating the ambrosia fruits harvested from the trees and lived to protect the perfect realm that they had been born into. Beautiful and unchanging, Nettelia studied the creatures that Epimetheus crafted and memorized their shapes, marveled as Oztalun gave them life and lavished under the gold and silver light that cascaded from the Two Trees. In this age sickness and disease never touched Eden, the people were blessed with a true immortality that had been shepherded from the realm of the Gods. Seeded by the Gods themselves before their departure from the realm, it was Nettelia’s sacred duty to see to it that this paradise went unprovoked. Humanity and the offspring that would later be called demigods were born with a cursed fate, but Prometheus held a secret that he gifted to Nettelia first: the man behind the curtain who bore a terrible secret. The truth of the Gods was nestled in the truth of their immortality, to Uthenera they slumbered when their bodies were destroyed and their magic retreated, but only immortal hosts could contain their souls upon their return. Eden was a garden, but not for humanity. Prometheus brought free will to Eden, with Nettelia as his accomplice as he stole from Ulthar himself. Punished before the days of Lucifer’s rebellion, Nettelia would have followed had the most beautiful of the seraphim not refused to kneel.
Eden burned and the Two Trees were destroyed, in the cruel sweep of fire mortality was brought to the race of humanity. Grief defined the archdruid, but she was possessed also by a far greater purpose, she bore the truth of the Gods and their intentions for the race of mortality. Watched as the Inferno was crafted by Oztalun and understood that the demons that crawled forth were also unfit, but their divine children when strengthened with the lines of fey would prove enough. It was in the aftermath of Eden’s pillage that Nettelia unearthed some truth to her abilities, that her power of transference could do more than mend a wing or help a plant recover, but she could heal and rend curses. The whispers came and those she confided in wouldn’t hear her, Nettelia, the grief-ridden sister who ranted at the injustice of the Gods, who turned those that she thought were possessed of the sort of righteousness that wouldn’t allow them to falter. More and more her dreams haunted her, in them she saw visions of a binding, of a transference, of sacrifices too great to number. She’s seen so many die before, fallen wings and monstrous cries of anguish and pain. This was her solution, her salvation and means to an end: her answer came in the binding of the necronomicon, to its blood hewn pages that were born from the lives of countless supernaturals. Nettelia had enough time to break Prometheus’ chains, then her siblings came for her, learned the truth of what she’d done, and slayed the chimera that she had become.
Connections
Aren: Of her three siblings, Aren slumbered while she was killed after her descent. He remains the only one who did not see her at her worst, and for that she is grateful.
Apollo: Companion of Eden, Nettelia got her first lessons in the healing arts from the God. While Gods are fickle, Apollo at least has always been upfront about his nature.
Pythia: Her grief manipulated, Pythia used Nettelia’s anguish and hatred for the Gods against her - twisted her thoughts towards blood magic and aided Tiamat in instructing Nettelia on how to craft the necronomicon.
Abilities
Author: as the creator of the necronomicon, Nettelia is immune to necromantic spells and manipulations.
Immortal: as a druid, Nettelia will always reincarnate after she dies. Her lifespan lasts for up to five-centuries before she will inevitably begin to fade. However, her connection to the necronomicon will see to it that she is resurrected shortly after her destruction so long as the book remains.
Archdruid: as an archdruid, Nettelia’s ability to turn into the chimera was destroyed, but she has retained her ability to shift into animals. An archdruid only has to look at a creature for a short while before understanding their habits.
Transference: an elevated power of transference allows Nettelia to move magic and souls from one location to another. To this end she is able to heal any injury, illness, or curse.
Weaknesses
Mortality: While durable, Nettelia’s body is still mortal and she can be killed by mortal means.
Binding: Several witches, druids or fey can bind her to the necronomicon if killed.
Animal Binding: Several witches, druids, or fey can bind her to an animal form if banded together.
