Hrrmmmm trying to think of how I'm going to go about building my new bg3 OCs. Do I just. Make up a little backstory for them separate from game canon? Do I...go completely balls to the wall and develop them to an insane degree before the events of the game? Knowing myself, I'm going to likely be infused with the hyperfixation any minute now and be lost in the sauce

I've picked their ships already it's just. it's going to be inch resting trying to develop my companions with my OCs in such a way that's still canon (has no idea what theyre doing).

Because look, Callistus is my very competent and quiet high elf ranger boy. He loves kids, has a zest for life under the calm exterior, smiles easily but is a little shy. I think it would be delightful to pair him with the vampire for reasons of sweet shy boy with the (seemingly) edgy and very troubles Astarion. He sees that vampire and goes "oh you need some loving. Thank god im the right man for the job." Do u see my vision

I'm thinking about making a lady, perhaps a half drow sorcerer who is so grumpy, just a complete thundercloud. Aaaaand predictable little old me is going to smush her up against Karlach because oh my god that would be adorable. Big, tough, smiley lady with small, grumpy lady, I die. The little grump getting attached to the one person who can make her smile and blush without fail. Mayhaps I'll call her Arien, or Ari for short.

And of course I need another boy because I want to smush somebody up against Gale, that big nerd. Powerful educated bookish man needs........someone bordering on downright dastardly who will slowly open up and soften up oooooohhhhh. A rogue? A chaotic neutral rogue......who immediately likes Gale and goes "Oh shit I gotta be nice if I wanna be with this man." He needs an H name me thinks. Helthros has a nice ring to it. But I also feel an L name. Larkspell keeps coming to mind.

Can you do a dreamnoblade fic where theyre gods, but instead of like every dreamnoblade gods fic dream is the blood god and techno is chaos? itd make so much sense!

I STRUGGLED SO MUCH WITH THIS REQUEST AND THAT’S WHY IT’S SO LATE. Also because of the situation with tommy and personal stuff. I honestly just started typing and looked what came out of it without thinking too much about it lol I hope you can still enjoy it <3

Screams. Weapons falling against each other. Shouting. Crying. And then total silence. It had been raining the past few days, as the fighting had happened between the armies. Some of the blood that was the result of a dumb and useless fight was taken in by the ground or washed away by the rain. But it was so much that it was impossible for it all to vanish and with that he knew who’d appear soon.

Techno kept walking through the field, watch as animals used the corpses to feast on, covered in blood as they survived from other’s deaths. Birds, especially crows, enjoyed the feast, only looking up when Techno walked right past them. Under him a squealshing sound happened whenever he took a step, the blood flooding around his boots.

This had been his idea, this war. Riling up two different kingdoms was easy, told that one said something nasty about the others. Humans were just so easy in general, making them mad and playing with their ego. Just a few words placed at the right time were all it needed. ‘King Gerald said that his land is much better than King Ericson’s’ or ‘Ericson’s Queen is more beautiful than Gerald’s is’.

That was all they needed to scream at their knights and force them out on with weapons. Now they were all dead, including the foolish kings who thought they’d ever be able to fight in a war. Dumb humans.

Oh, what Techno did for love.

And talking of love, he heard a low giggle behind him before someone took a deep breath, exhaling heavily. “How sweet,” the man said as Techno turned around, meeting Green eyes that seemed to shimmer red when the light hit just right, “is that a present for me?”

“Dream,” Techno mumbled, staring at the man standing a few feet away from him. His blond hair shone in the sun beaming down on them and his wide clothes flowed with the wind around them. There was a mask hanging on the side of his face, a grotesque looking smiley drawn on it. “God of Blood.”

“Technoblade,” the god answered, slowly stepping closer to the pink haired man. Where Dream’s hair was rather short and curly, Techno was long and straight, tied in a high ponytail. He wore a white blouse and black tights pants with high boots, his red eyes not leaving Dream’s. “God of Chaos. And I see you’re being good in it?”

Techno huffed lightly, now also walking towards the other with slow yet long steps. “It was getting boring, the earth got to quiet. A little bit of chaos was never a bad thing.”

“Of course not,” they stopped in front of each other, Dream having to look up just the slightest. “At least not for us Gods, right? Meanwhile I can feel the blood that will be spread around in the kingdoms soon, as the people will get desperate now that their kings are dead.”

“Take it as a little extra.” Dream laughed at that, loud wheezy noise echoing through the silent field. The crows didn’t bother as they were used to it by now, always close to the Blood God after all. They got used to him quiet fast and had been with him for hundreds of years. It took them some time after Dream was chose, after he got sacrificed together with Techno.

Two friends who were doomed from the start, two lovers who were hated and given away to their own fate. Dying in each others arms as Dream was bleeding to death after Techno tried to steal, tried to confuse people by making some chaos on a farm. It hadn’t worked, the owner had stabbed Dream when they weren’t paying attention.

And all that for a bit of bread and a few eggs when they were starving. But as they lay there, blood around them and tears falling and empty promises whispered, they were heard. Someone, or something, spoke to them, promised the lovers eternal life. They accepted, however, they didn’t know the rule.

Techno, as thee God of Chaos, could wander the human realm without much trouble. That was a necessity to do what he was there for, to make sure wars happened, to chaos storms and destroy villages, to make water rise and flood whole towns. But Dream, the Good Blood, he couldn’t. He existed in his own realm where no one could follow and for him to appear blood was needed.

The more blood was given, the longer he could stay. And a field covered in fallen soldiers give a lot of blood and time for the two lovers to be reunited again.

Techno was pulled from his thoughts as hands, fingertips tainted a dark red, cupped his face, making him look down. A smile was spread over Dream’s lips, gentle and promising, telling a story of a lonely person who wished to be with his lover. Now he was here, he was right in front of him for more than a few seconds that they usually got. Cause even though humans were monsters, they knew spilling blood wasn’t always the best solutions.

Only once a few decades does enough blood spill to summon Dream for longer than a minute or two. So they had to enjoy every second they got to spent together.

Lips met, pressing against each other softly, then more desperate. Filled with a love other hated, other had seen as sin. It was their blood that had splattered the world first, the only right thing to do. Techno remembered the screams as he got other villages to pillage them, to burn down everything in their way and made sure no survivors were left.

Seeing Dream the first time as a god had been so mesmerizing. The dark glow around him, the flowy clothes that revealed just enough skin, showed the freckles that littered the blond’s body. Techno had loved it, had enjoyed the way their arms had fallen around each other again, had fallen in love with the steady beat of Dream’s heart, one that would never stop beating.

They moved away, a thumb stroking under Techno’s eye as he gazed at his lover, hands on his waist. “I missed you,” Dream whispered, pressing their forehead together, breathing together, just taking each other in. It had been so long since they had been reunited, the humans started growing more cautious, they thought more about their actions and the consequences. Ericon and Gerald were the last ones who were easy to persuade into a dumb and useless war.

And Techno was scared, so scared that he would have to wait for longer next time. He let out a trembling breath, pressing closer to the man he had loved for such a long time. “Dream,” he mumbled, the man humming as an answer, one hand reaching up to stroke his neck, to calm him. “The humans. They learn, they are stubborn and start to think much more. I don’t know- I just- What when-”

“Shhh,” Dream hushed, placing a gentle kiss on Techno’s chin, afterwards making him look at him. “It’s okay, love, you will find ways.”

“But it might start taking longer and our time together will probably be shorter,” Techno sounded desperate, helpless. Just like he sounded when Dream way laying in his arms, bleeding and dying. Sometimes Techno regret that they took those deals, if they had died together they would be together in the afterlife. Now they couldn’t, they’d never be able to do that. They had doomed themselves.

Dream’s eyes moved all over his face, like he was remembering every detail, every little hair and every tiny scar. Eventually both hands rested around his neck and he leaned closer to whisper between their breathes. “I would willing wait hundreds, no, thousands of years just to spent merely a second with you. That’s how much I love you and it will never change.”

Breathless, overwhelmed, Techno fell silent, only squeezing Dream’s waist between his longer fingers. Then he pulled him closer, wrapping his arms around his partner, the man he had fallen in love with as a child and was now connected with for the end of time and beyond. And there they stood, holding each other close, enjoying every second that they could spent to the God of Time.

And as the blood started to fade and the crows finished their last meal, did the two still stand there. Breathing, kissing, holding onto each other and they would do it again, the Blood of Chaos would make sure of that.

OHH WONDERFUL QUESTION. Ohh man this post is gonna be really long I'm sorry.

i usually come up with what they teach first and then go on trying to imagine what they'd look like. its usually a somewhat long process for me

for b. happy, he wasn't really supposed to teach about emotions at first. i almost considered making him teach about fame and comedy but something in my head was like "comedy = laughter = happiness = emotion" and I was like OH MY GOD. IM A GENIUS. if I didn't come up with him being an emotions teacher he wouldn't exist at all really. instead of happy I wouldve made mic take his place and teach about being a famous comedian instead. Good god can you imagine

yeah I'm also showing concept art idgaf

after i made happy i had an idea for another oc but this time they would teach about acting and drama. you already know this is about comedy and tragedy but they were originally one person, with tragedy being the host and her having comedy as a seperate mask on his head that would occasionally talk to them. basically some kind of evil parasite. Although I ended up splitting them into two different people as i felt like it would be better

AND FINALLY PERI!!!! It took me a while to design her honestly ! I came up with the idea of a character that taught about how dangerous the world can be, without realizing THEYRE a danger to the world itself. I wanted something related to caution and hazard signs so she was gonna be a really tall stop sign at first... But i thought that was basic as hell so THANK GOD you guys don't have to deal with stop sign peri. Not pictured because i didnt draw it but after I trashed her stop sign design she was gonna be an armadillo! I thought it made sense since she's a really skittish and nervous character, she could curl up and hide in her shell. Buuut I immediately scrapped that idea Rest in piece armadillo peri

out of all of them peri was by far my most favorite one to conceptualize and design. she was such a fun character to work with

little fun fact. I've definitely said it before but they had other names! After i posted b. Happy for the first time, I thought his name was goofy and was gonna rename him to Mr. Smiley, but the post was gaining a lot of notes and so I thought. Why even bother with the name change!

comedy and tragedy also had names at first, those names being connie and tracey. Comedy and tragedy were originally placeholder names but i ended up settling on those ones because it just. Fit yknow

It took me about a day to come up with peri's name. I wanted her to be named after dangerous chemicals and whatnot, and i told myself that if i couldn't find a name for her i would have to name her methyl bromide. Literally. But I ended up naming her after the periodic table itself

just. URHGHH. i need to kill. i need to chop of my tits and stick em in a garbage fire and deepen my voice and cut my hair and just. stop.

im TIRED man. i know that pronoun pins are small and hard to read sometimes, and not everyone knows how to use a gender neutral "sir/maam". or even that i LIKE sir or mr instead of mx (mx feels weird to say i dont like it). but god i wish people could try.

I know my voice isnt from my chest and doesnt sound masculine. i want to work on it but i cant hear myself speak. ((and dad kind of mocked it once without meaning to and it wasn't actual mocking probably and i know i said nothing but it felt like it and it killed my confidence)). And i know that i dont have a masculine face and that all the tips to look more masculine are "be angry/grumpy" but i have to be smiley because covid mask and customer service and i cant look mean or else something Bad will happen.

and i know that im probably to rough or heavy handed sometimes in teasing or funny friend jokes but im trying to show im friendly. trying to not have to wear a mask and be awkward.

and i know i have boobs and i hate them and i dont want them and i cant do anything until june 29 i just have to make it till then. because then i can go to the doctor and have the doctor "reassure" parents that binders are safe if done responsibly and wont permanently fuck me up.

and im so scared for when (if) i actually get a binder that ill love it and never take it off and hurt myself and go through another gender crisis and i dont know if i can make it. i don't. i want to believe ill make it but it feel so hard sometimes yknow? that ill end up sad and trapped and just. hurt.

but back to the original point: i know that i dont look or act or sound masculine. and i know that my paperwork reads my deadname and that there will alwyas be some people who know me by [H****]. and that its inevitable that some customer will walk in and think theyre being nice by saying "thanks honey" or "how are you doin sweety" but it feels weird and wrong and im angry that I cant be perceived how i want to be perceived. that coworkers and teachers and other adults will mess up and say "[H****]" or "she" or any other number of thigns that feel like knives.

but i have to keep going right? I have to keep going and stay fueled by the people who say Cadmus. by all my friends and all the happy times and just how far ive come and all of my close friends and family. and even if it feels like im waiting for the shoe to constantly drop with my parents or with my boss or just. all the time. that it'll get better.

right?

estella is the stereotypical rich popular girl, but she's also a closeted lesbian they're all closeted tbh so she's trying to hide that from her mom. Her mom, instead of being all 'Blah blah blah brrak hearts to fuel my life' or something she's just obsessed with status and how popular Estella is. She's always pleased when Estella has a boyfriend, but it's not often. Basically Estella is more smiley and happy than she usually is, but she's stil usually indifferent. Smiles either when she's genuinely happy or wants something. Most of the time she's deadpan or rolling her eyes

Gaydamien is the rich popular jock, his ego is huge. His dad (since he cant be the son of satan in this one) is the principal of their school. He usually gets what he wants, no matter what. Instead of "You dare [insert something here] to the Prince of Hell????" its that but with "Damien Thorn???" yknow because of his last name. He's been dating Estella to boost his ego, mainly. Doesn't realize he likes guys yet. Estella and Damien hate each other, but everyone believes they're dating because they're too scared to say otherwise. They complain about each other to each other AND to people in private.

Pip is just- he's less of a nerd but more of a kid that's just. There. He isn't nerdy but he definitely isn't popular. At all. He's just a pushover man idk what to tell you. He's usually being bullied. He has a huge crush on Damien, because he got him out of trouble with some other jock like. Once. Always gets giggly around him, it's funny to watch. Also very passive aggressive @ Estella because she's dating him. They have very few classes together, but whenever they do he's always like "hey :) so hows damien" and she responds with "why would i know" and he's like "because??? youre dating him???" and she looks really confused for a second and then is like "OH- Oh yeah okay uh. I don't know. So." and then she starts complaining about him or something and pip is all ":) why not just break up?"

Pip also hates Christophe

Which, speaking of, Christophe is also an annoying egotistical jock who plays football with Damien. Damien and Christophe are best friends. Christophe and Gregory are dating in secret

Gregory is the stereotypical gay kid. No other way to put this. If Ryan Evans from High School Musical had a superiority complex. He's a theatre kid, and takes pride in tha- OH MY GOD. Rachel??? Maybe he's Rachel Berry from Glee??? it would kind of work idk,, ok uh anyway yeah he's always bullied for being openly gay and it sucks but he took defense classes in Yardale (yes he's still a transfer from Yardale, yes he constantly mentions it) so he's able to hold his own. But Christophe usually steps in to get Gregory out of there and tend to his wounds.

Rebeccaaaaaa she's the unpopular girl, just started school and doesnt know shit about it after being homeschooled almost her whole life. Has a little crush on Estella, but Estella "Doesn't" notice her. (Estella just thinks of her as some pretty girl who isnt worth her time) Rebecca usually keeps to herself, is usually gossiped about. Estella never gets involved, but whenever she'd get asked about it, instead of defending Rebecca she just says "I hardly believe any of the rumors. She was homeschooled, not taught in witchcraft or satanisim. Or whatever else everyone's saying. Everyone should really calm themselves, if they were so worried about what people thought of them when Rebecca started going here then they should get that in order first before ruining Rebecca's social life. God. You all have to grow up." So, not necessarily a defense but also not an insult. Rebecca still finds it sweet.

Mark is a neerrrrrrd 80s main character. Minus the popular love interest and yearning 😩 And also if the main character had a god/superiority complex.. he's bullied the most other than Gregory, mostly by Damien n Christophe. Girls don't like him, guys don't like him, he really only had Pip and Rebecca for a while. Pip because he's overly nice to almost everyone and wanted to befriend Mark immediately. Usually during lunch Mark sits with Pip and Rebecca. Mark has to hear about Damien all the time from Pip though, so that's annoying.

Uh I know that Pocket is TECHNICALLY a foreign kid but idk shit about him and dont really think about him but he's Estella's cousin and often hangs out with her since he doesn't really have a friend group. He's also really good friends with Pip. BUT since this is a horror au he dies off early

After theyre all friends some stuff happens yada yada yada Gaymien realizes he's pan and has a crush on Pip, Estella takes Rebecca out for a makeover , Christophe gets severely injured because this is a horror au as well, Damien and Pip make out at some point-

Estella and Rebecca both know that theyre Lesbians but they refuse to admit that they like each other

Kinda thinking of this as if it was stranger things or something so i definitely want there to be like... a series of bad events. everyone thinks everythings cool and fine and whatever and there are moments where our group kinda just get to chill n' be kids. idk i just want there to be a falling out in the group and then they all realize they need each other or something dumb like that

also for some fun chill moments we can have estella and rebecca walking around holding hands and laughing n' stuff bc they love each other idk idk

and after the falling out when they all join together again estella is the first to see some scary stuff but she was also the first to drop everyone except damien and christophe (because of her mother) and so she blames herself and doesnt think she can go to them and just has to deal with it on her own

eventually she tells damien who immediately tells pip who immediately wants to get the group together again

everyone's (the cockswolds) are reluctant to hang out again because of the way they were just forgotten so easily, but they go anyway. because of the horror stuff. they both are pissed at estella though

at some point estella gets badly hurt and rebecca saves her and starts nursing her back to health

estella: why are you... why are you doing this. dont you hate me?

rebecca: i'm doing it because i actually care for you, idiot.

estella: i care for you i just... couldnt...

rebecca: what? spend time with a lowlife like me?

estella: you know thats not what i meant-

they go on like that for a little while longer until they wind up confessing to each other "Because I love you! Is that so fucking hard to believe?!" Would be rebecca's and Estella's would probably be "I don't hate you! You're my favorite person, and I hated having to stop hanging out with you! I love you, okay?!" it would be :) fun

damien and estella come out to each other first. well- damien doesnt really come out he just tells her how confused he is and they hug it out and estella tells him she's a lesbian and they both talk a little while longer and decide that breaking up would be the best idea

thats all i've really figured out for sure,, i have some more ideas but this is. a lot already so. i'm just gonna stop before i write too much 👉👉 anyway, anon ily ty for this. also sidenote: the horror stuff has to do with weird sacrificial cults. i know i have nothing for that and really only talked about how everything starts and drama instead of the interesting stuff but 🥴 i have no defense i just love my kids ok drama is fun
