This hellsite is going to die if people keep being so negative and nasty to people all for sharing their creations.

The joy is literally being sucked away bit by bit every week PURELY BECAUSE THE ATMOSPHERE FEELS HOSTILE. And for what? Is it jealously? Is it boredom? Is it because you've decided to have a dislike for certain blogs?

And honestly if its to gatekeep an entire fandom because you want your own thoughts and takes to be the only fanon then well done, you are doing a fabulous job, I know writers/artists/gif makers EVEN READERS that want to create for and enjoy a space that feels unwelcoming so they refuse to do it - and yes I'm included in that.

I am fed up of seeing people getting shit for simply wanting to be apart of fandom. I have already lost mutuals from other fandoms because they have deactivated from petty nasty anons on top of a hostile space and I don't want to see that happen again.

IGNORE/UNFOLLOW/BLOCK - IT IS REALLY THAT SIMPLE. You can even block certain tags you don't want to see. START DOING IT.

Going on record to say Rings of Power absolutely slaps, as a lifelong Tolkien fan I'm so disappointed the way people tried so hard to judge it before it even aired and wanted it to be bad so much that they've literally convinced people to be afraid to watch it and judge for themselves. The visuals are STUNNING, the costumes are phenomenal, the creature design is haunting and so visceral. And the characters and world feel so *lived* miss me with that shit about it being low effort or budget, you can't judge a show by a handful of promo stills. I'm glad I didn't listen to the bs takes from people who are mostly just trying to hide their bigotry behind Tolkien worshipping zealotry.

I have no interest in One Piece, never watched it, never liked or reblogged anything about it. Why is there a permanent link to the Luffy tag on my mobile dash?

I even blocked the tag to try to get rid of it, but that didn’t do anything. Is this yet another poorly-devised scheme by Tumblr to cram more trending/popular stuff under my nose without my consent? Hrgh. Guess I’ll go check my Settings to see if they’ve tried to sneak anything new in (and hope there’s a button to permanently turn it off).
