Liyue Headcanons pt. 2! (pt. 1 here)
Beidou

Best Friend: Ganyu
Beidou has a large lightning scar over her left eye from her battle with Haishan.
They see Yaoyao as their daughter.
Beidou and Ganyu are actually best friends in canon! Beidou's "About Ganyu" line says that the two of them "get on like a house on fire", they just don't talk about it much due to their reputations.
They hang out with Thoma whenever they're in Inazuma. They're best buds! Beidou brings him souvenirs from Dornman Port to remind him of Mondstadt.
Beidou and Ningguang exchange letters via Beidou's Red Vulture (yes, she tamed one). The vulture, Xun, is a regular sight in the skies of Liyue due to the amount of time Beidou's at sea.
She has a Devon Rex named Yijun. She reminds Beidou of Ningguang due to her affectionate personality (which is reserved for beidou only). Yijun only really lets Beidou and Yaoyao near her.
EXTREMELY built. Buff Beidou real.
This is already canon, but short people aren't allowed to drink on the Alcor. Sorry Kazuha.
She wears braces on her arms.
Both legs were amputated at the knee due to sailing accidents and battles. She wears those thigh high boots to disguise it.
Literal local legend in Liyue.

I put snowflakes in her hair. Her vision starts to act up when she falls asleep and it begins to snow around her. There's a lot of snow, due to her narcolepsy.
Beidou and Ganyu are actually best friends in canon! Ganyu's "About Beidou" line says that she gets super angry when people talk crap about Beidou and has to restrain herself from snapping. They just don't talk about it much due to their reputations.
Narcoleptic 100%. She falls asleep in meetings all the time, but Keqing takes excessive notes to keep her updated on what she missed.
Qiqi gives them herbs whenever she sees them. All she knows is that Ganyu likes them, and Qiqi wants people to be happy.

He rarely sleeps. Since he can see ghosts, he sees them out of the corner of his eyes when he's trying to sleep.
Boo has two pet dogs. A Chow Chow named Chun Hua, and a Pekingese named Yinyue. Boo got Yinyue first, since she could also see ghosts. Then, boo got Chun Hua to keep Yinyue company when boo was away.

She sneaks out of the Opera House to hang out with Xiangling and Xinyan. She also helps promote Xinyan's shows, despite the difference in their genres.
Dances with Shenhe and helps her learn how to converse in a formal setting, just in case she needs to go to a Qixing event with Yelan.

He has pretty bad hearing due to his horns practically coming out of his ears. There's a bell on his office door to help know when someone's there.
He has a pet cat named Piaoliang. She stays in his office and lets him know when there are visitors, since he often can't hear them. Piaoliang also has a bell on her collar to help Yanfei know when she's there.

- Atunci de ce 90% dintre copiii de scoala fac din clasa pregatitoare si pana intr-a 12-a RELIGIE ortodoxa !!!! Intr-un mod dogmatic! De ce copii sunt fortati de catre Sistem, la scoala, unde , teoretic trebuie sa invete cultura generala, an de an, sa adopte si sa practice o religie, una anume! bazandu-se pe faptul ca parintii nu stiu, nu vor sau le este jena sa ii scoata de la cursurile respective. Consider ca in acest caz nu se respecta Constitutia!! Mai ca ma gandesc la o conspiratie a Politicului care isi doreste un Popor usor manipulabil prin Religie si prin "valorile" ei: smerenie, umilinta si respect pt Stapan(Stapanire)...
A auzit cineva ca in noua Constitutie la care se lucreaza acum s-ar specifica ca Romania nu e stat secular(laic) ci religios?? Ca in Afganistan? Sau Arabia Saudita?

Copilului cu mintea frageda ii inchide o gramada de posibilitati de intelegere a informatiilor prezntate la cultura generala. Eu nu pricep cum nu va dati seama ca Religia este ceva ce nu are ce cauta in scoala. Religia nu e cultura generala!! La Religie nu te invata despre pictura bizantina, despre tehnica icoanelor sau despre Istoria crestinismului! Cunosc ff bine si fenomenul dacoman ( http://art-historia.blogspot.ro/.../fenomenul-dacoman... ). E tot o forma de religie. Numai ca aceste nationalisme bolnave merg ff bine mana in mana cu un ortodoxism fundamentalist (legionarii, par ex). Marea problema a noastra e nivelul scazut al educatiei in general, in care Religia numai bine nu face. Cand vom avea o educatie eficienta, se poate face si Religie , dar nu inainte de 15-16 an. Eventual...Nu-i speria pe copii cu prieteni imaginari si dumenzei care te pandesc de peste tot si te pedepsesc daca nu esti cuminte!

the talk with ichirou and our boy ff is so funny in sm ways holy shiet and i loVED that it was feom ichirous perspective like ff is one incredibly hot mess but only we (and ff and nicky and gs know that of course) but literally everyone else including head of the mafia (or yakuza?) think he is the most competent incredible and coolest person to ever exist like ajdjhdjsjjs
and omg neil <3 we love to see neil eating and being surrounded by the love and family he deserves <3 and im really loving aaron in this fic like ik he was an asshole in the books but u can also sorta understand it and i love how ur portraying him just like idk how to explain it but yas <3 i feel like hes always so overlooked and forgotten so im really glad that he has his moments here (esp love it when hes bickering w the other monsters so it feels so real i luv it)
grandma smith is a gem as always and i find her and kevins relationship so hilarious and cute

I keep thinking that when I get around to properly writing this in not draft form (looking at you earlier chapters) I'm going to write some scenes from other character's POV (Grandma's whole 48 hours with the monsters from her POV and FF's POV as he talks to the nice FBI agent Iruma Matsumoto). Writing from Neil's POV inbetween helped me a lot in keeping this chapter from being too heavy. (Also snuck in a bit of the Neil & FF friendship)
Ichirou's POV and like turning the shit that FF WOULD SAY into stuff that Ichirou could misinterpret took me sooo long it's why the chapter came out so much later than I wanted it to (that and I spent most of my weekend building that link tree for the AUs)
Lol I just said this in a conversation I was having on here but YOU READ THAT ONE POST ABOUT NEIL'S GLOW-UP FROM THE BEGINNING OF HIS FRESHMAN YEAR AND YOU NEVER RECOVER. He's still too skinny!
Aaron is one of my favorite characters who does not get used enough IMO. Like he's fucking funny! Yeah he's kind of an asshole Neil's freshman year but like he's a STUDENT ATHLETE in PRE-MED dealing with THE MAFIA. Also I really love writing the Monsters as just like...normal guys. Like it's not all overwrought conversations sometimes it's "No Kevin, putting vanilla protein powder in chicken stock is not 'Like Chicken and Waffles' it's a CRIME."
I do feel bad about how GS is just constantly like dogging him but in a voice that makes him preen but like to be fair.... vanilla protein powder into her sweet grandson's soup.
FF is always worried about the most important things when faced with a situation. Like 'At least it's a beautiful day I can cloud watch as Captain Neil and Andrew murder me.' , 'I hope there's a bathroom in this torture chamber' , 'Oh gross he didn't wash his hands before he left the bathroom to go murder Captain Neil', and 'Oh no I WAS racist and RUDE. Why the fuck didn't I ask for his name BEFORE I had that conversation. GS raised you better!'
