Introduction
Hello hello! A shorter update for today.
It’s November and we’re slowly getting closer to the Frozen 10th Anniversary! You excited? I know I am! If we get anything, I’m definitely at the very least expecting an emotional response from Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee about this huge event!
November 27th people! Save the date! We’ll wait and see if WDAS has anything special planned.

I know how much of a pain in the butt it is on mobile to see my extra pages, so I thought it would be easy to have a whole side-blog dedicated to just that. i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.
#i often wonder about how many things would be considered classic or high art had they only received the marketing#how many short films that were made for class could have been the most powerful thing you'd ever seen? if you'd seen them?#“you know the greatest films of all time were never made” etc etc#but like. these works of art ARE being made. it's just enjoyed by a smaller audience with equal impact though#i think about this one furry i used to follow on insta who had the coolest worldbuilding ever. it's been years.#thought prompted by that sketch of nimona from ten years ago that was just for a character design#posted to the creator's tumblr and now it's nominated for best animated feature film at the oscars#and by the genuine emotional reaction a fan comic made me feel. how much work had gone into it. how beautiful it was to me.#idk what to tag this but i hope whoever needs to hear it does#writing#writer#fandom#fandom culture#artist

Frozen Canon Talk Fifth Edition
Next, as you can imagine, my infamous, Arendelle Archives-approved creation, Frozen Canon Talk, will be getting its Fifth Edition. However, I am simply waiting for the releases of these next two books (listed below) so that I can have all of 2023 covered. I believe (if Forces of Nature's advertising is anything to go by) that this year should be the last year of major side-story releases before F3 (or any shorts they could throw at us at some point), so it's a good time to freshen up the post for its fifth edition.
The post will now include the newest editions in the Frozen Franchise, as well as a new section called "The Novel Extended Universe" that includes all novels/comics/podcasts that reference one another and try to build coherent lore between them. This phenomenon started happening during the F2 Era of books, and typically have the same authors penning the projects.
Thus, again, I'm waiting for the release of these novels before I get started.

God, I love the art this season so much. Not just because it's fucking gorgeous, (which it is.) But. like. look at this.
The Trio of Goblin Badasses (otherwise known as the Gukgak family):
First of all. Pretty. Second of all, look at their facial features. Riz's got his dad's ears, but his mom's nose. Sklonda's jawline and Pok's dark brows. This kid is the spitting image of his parents, a perfect combo of the two. Just like Kalina said in Sophomore Year.
I Just Think It's Neat.
