My April 2023 toy haul got here yesterday. I’m so happy with my “larger” sized Bubble Head Nurse. I got the Figma version when they originally released that one, but she’s kind of tiny. I wish I would have gotten the Gecco 1:6 (2013) one too. Sadly, I didn’t know much about Gecco back then, and they were kind of pricey for the time (I would have traded a kidney for the Red Pyramid x Mannequin one, but I was hesitant with them as well, and now that statue really does go for more than a kidney! Lol!).

I once again got too many acrylic items. I wish I could stop, and I’m probably making good progress towards it (I’m seriously limiting my pre-orders of those items). However, this was so much money on just the acrylic AoT stuff, that it was painful when I had to pay for this order. S/h was also a painful experience, mostly due to the “mini” poster, which is not that big, but they packaged it as if it were a regular sized poster... but flattened (because it is plastic)! >___>;;; My wallet won’t soon be recovering! They one thousand percent could have shipped everything in a much, much smaller box. DX

SUMMARY
Kudan Suzujiro (Sato Ryuji) is a gambler who has been left all alone in the world.
With a greedy nature and sticky fingers, he is loved only by the God of Gambling.
One day, Suzujiro wins a bet with a demon, and gets his hands on a beautiful woman.
The name of the woman is "Hakana" (Nanaki Kanon).
This beautiful woman is a person who has been made from the best parts of a collection of corpses.
But, she is someone who cannot be laid with until 100 days after her birth.
It is said that if she is laid with before the 100 days are up, she will turn into water and flow away.
And so it begins, the 100-day story of a man who doesn't know love and a woman who doesn't know loveー

[4] Wada Shunsuke, who is the composer for "Itoshi no Hakana", has worked on productions, like the "Musical Touken Ranbu", "Live Spectacle NARUTO" and "'Jujutsu Kaisen' The Stage".
[5] The lyrics for the songs are written by Asai Sayaka. She writes lyrics for the "Musical Touken Ranbu", including songs like "Kazaguruma", "Yume no Ato", "To The North" and others.
She has also written the lyrics for songs featuring Kashuu Kiyomitsu, like "Akaki Hana Chirimagau" and "Noraneko Nihiki".
PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS
"Itoshi no Hakana" is the inaugural first production of Isamu Kayano's new theater unit "Akudo Kaigi". The actors of the production were personally chosen by Kayano-san, including Ryuji. Kayano-san also decided to come out of retirement as an actor and return to the stage after 20 years because he wanted to act with Ryuji.
The result of this? One of the most intimate and intense stage plays Ryuji has ever participated in, which tells the story of a world where demons walk amongst men.
Suzujiro is not a good man, violent and uncaring of others (because he has only ever known violence and betrayal all his life), and who only believes in the god of gambling.
Until Hakana comes into his life.
Through his relationship with Hakana as he cares for her during the 100 days reveals a man who, as Hakana describes, has a gentleness and warmth within him. But, Suzujiro is too far gone, and while he manages to right his wrong and save Hakana at the end, it costs him his life and his soul.
Ryuji as Suzujiro is truly a sight to behold. He brings the character to life in all of Suzujiro's complexities, making us feel for Suzujiro in equal measure at his best and at his worst. When he's with Hakana, we can see why Hakana loves him, but Suzujiro's moments of desperation and madness, Ryuji is like a man possessed.
This is Ryuji as we've never seen him before.
Also, not to sound thirsty AF, but Ryuji as Suzujiro is the most undressed we've seen him. Ever.

Currently working on a game story for my final project where the main character is an "amnesiac" who discovers they are in fact a clone when the "original" version of them comes back and now they have to figure out which if any of their friends knew and what their place in life is now. The story is vaguely inspired by some of my Touken Ranbu fics but I've been calling the characters F-Zero chara names in my head as I work out their descriptions lmao so we have Blood the MC, Falcon the original. The roommates/friends are Stewart the mom friend biomed student, Jody the quiet serious slightly mysterious honours psych or sociology student, and Black Shadow the intense rival whose field of study I haven't figured out yet but he was the one who had the cloning idea in the first place so it can't be something too obviously related. Engineering??? Law? (slightly terrifying to think of BS in law). Business? Idk.
Their personalities will not be the exact same obvy and I will probably turn them into animals/flip some genders (and rename them) to further remove them from their FZ counterparts (the MC is nb for one) but yeah. It makes sense in my head even if this sounds like a mess with no correlation to FZ LMAO. I wanted to use TF as my final originally but TF is very dependent on the specific characters involved so altering the characters and making the plot able to be questified and gamified seemed a little tougher. I guess if Rob was the main character of a TF-style game story that could be cool? Instead of the main chara being the one with all the power from the start, the main chara is the one helping their friend deal with their powers...

Selfship Stuff
Overhaul? Yes. But I try to be a bit more careful with f/os nowadays so a lot are pending. I mainly focus on Ensemble Stars and Hypnosis Mic tho, so expect me to gush about them the most. I mostly post about Fling Posse at the moment. I love all of my f/os though!
"Shipped with s/i" means that I ship them with my s/i but I do not consider them f/os! I just enjoy the ship dynamics. Thus these ships are not personal to me by any means and I would not rank them as my partners due to a lack of feelings for them.
There are also a few f/os who are a bit complicated due to past circumstances (I rather not talk about it). Once I recovered and sorted my feelings I add them to the other rows especially Romani Archaman, I love him so much and want to decleare him my boyfriend again you have no idea... However long that will be. I love them though and plan to add and gush about them eventually once I moved on from the situation! I just don't know when that will be...
Iffy sharing Fling Posse (Ramuda, Gentaro, Dice), Henry (FE) and Blaze romantically (except with my friends). I will not block you but I might block your tag (if possible) or not follow back and/or interact with your posts (related to that f/o) if possible. I will also do it if we share f/os you feel uncomfortable sharing with. If I miss it though, I apologize. Just notify me if I do! If I follow you first (or reblogged something from you before) or if we already know each other from another platform, we are good though. I'm fine sharing everyone else though!
My top secret f/os are f/os I keep a secret for own reasons and at most I will vague post about them in public (if ever). I talk about them in private though and publish fanfics about them elsewhere. There is a chance I open up about them one day but no gurantee (I doubt it matters since none of them are f/os I often write about as of now). I am fine sharing them though!

The last batch. This was fun, and eye-opening too! :D
21. How many kudos in total did you get this year?
348, as of this writing. At a glance, it's the lowest I've ever gotten--but the catch is kudos are still counted long after the year is over. Fic that have been around longer are more likely to amass kudos over time. (And I did write a lot this year...)
(I decided not to answer the comment question because...well, it's a little of the above answer but also more complicated. See the last few questions under the cut for more.)
[I didn't do any collaborations or gifts this year; I want to keep track of things like Big Bangs and such more often though!]
26. What’s your most common category?
M/F, it looks like, with Multi close behind! I do plan to write more Gen next year though.
27. What do you listen to while writing?
Mostly white noise! I brainstorm while exercising and listen to a wide variety of genres then. ("Trailer music" like Two Steps From Hell or '80s ballads, for example.)
28. Favorite work you wrote this year?
Once again, I'm glad that this question is difficult. ;v; Do I say Poisoned Honey again, even though it's a WIP? What about Sweet Rain, Saltwater Rain, which felt like such a breakthrough? And then there's all the Touken Ranbu fic, and Belial/Djeeta...
Maybe I'll go with Charmed Lessons: Lewd Manipulation (GBF, Belial/Djeeta/Lyria)! It not only managed to be exactly the length I wanted from the start, the dark but still sexy twist managed to land. (Also it has Belial moonlighting as a caring senpai in it! XD)
29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?
>:3 OH BOY. This one's surprisingly easy, from Chapter 2 of Poisoned Honey (I could've quoted the whole scene):
"I mean it, Lucifer insisted, clasping his hands in ardent prayer. My equal, my Master, my King. Debase me. Reforge me. Teach me what I long to know."
30. Biggest surprise while writing this year?
Oh, boy. Where to even begin.
To start on the lightest possible note: sometimes I can, in fact, be at the tail end of a long fic and only realize in that moment "I should have just written this specific scene, even though I love all the other ones too". (Hi, In the Bedchamber...) This is why I write many chapters ahead now!
But that wasn't the biggest surprise, actually.
The biggest surprise to me this year: the realization that writing for myself-as-audience is still a goal I want, but at the same time I really do need dialogue with readers to feel fully satisfied.
I don't want to guilt people into anything, of course! Least of all something that's meant to be fun. But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't demoralizing to not have that dialogue, you know? I know the assumption is that writers just want praise, but personally I'd rather talk with readers about the fic and these characters we both love.
And for the record, I feel like you absolutely can "write for yourself as audience first with others second" and want to find like-minded readers at the same time. I think that balance is key, and I spent a long time without it this year. No joke, I even considered quitting altogether! (But that was probably the stress of tough courses talking...)
Who knows? Maybe next year will be better. Maybe I should change up how I ask for "feedback" and instead say "dialogue is appreciated"? It's a work in progress, as ever. ^^;
Anyway, here's to next year!
