The Evermore Grimoire: Elemental Powers

Electrokinesis is the power to create, shape and manipulate electricity. A form of energy resulting from the movement of charged particles (such as electrons or protons). As an elemental power, electrokinesis is very simple and straightforward accompanied with a near-limitless myriad of uses. Most commonly, wielders would be able to discharge large amounts of electricity in order to shock their opponents, potentially paralysing, burning, or even stopping their hearts in severe cases. However if not controlled with exact precision this power can be harmful to others. Over time this power can grow to include being able to summon lightning bolts and manipulate it within the skies and even create thunderstorms at will.

Thinking about how awesome and dangerous electrokinesis could be when used subtly. Like when a cable touches the ground, you don’t know if it’s charged and you can’t tell because it’s invisible! (Did I learn that from a driving safety video? Yes. It’s scary, but really cool) Like imagine knocking your enemies out without them knowing what happened or having a chance to avoid it. I feel it’s almost underutilized because we only ever see it used in a flashy (pun intended) way lol

Evie Volturi wife of Demetri

what if...... When the Cullens left Forks leaving Bella she didn't take it well.

The moment The Cullens and Edward left without a backward glace she know then that they lied to her about beging Edward's mate because if she was really Edward's mate then he wouldn't be able to leave her just as easy as he did.

But luckly her twin sister Evie help her though it all. She was angry they both wore that they dare use them so they were destroying the Cullen house while they were their their four Volturi guards turn up and they are Felix, Jane, Alec and Demetri Volturi who were sent to forks to Check on the Cullen only find two human girls destroying the place and know about Vampire.

The monent Alec and Demetri catch the girls scent they know that they finally found their nate who they been looking for a long time. The Guards brought the Swan twins with them in Italy where they meet the three kings, Aro, Marcus and Caius Volturi.

To comfirm what aro read from the mind of Demetri and Alec he ask his brother Marcus.

"It's true Evie is the mate of Demetri, while her sister Bella is Alec's mate" Marcus said. Which suprise the two human girls since they didn't know they were their mate.

"Well a congrasulation are in order, may I" Aro said while extending his hand to the girls which they gaved their permission.

Aro tried to read the mind of the girls but he is unable to read bella completly while he can read evie but unclear like their mind is protected.

The girls told the kings how they meet the Cullens and how Edward saved them three times and how suck the venom during the beging of their change and kill one of mated pair now their a vampire wanting revenage for her mates death.

It wasn't long after that they were changed by their mate where they burn for 4 days instead of the 3 days it was suppose to. But two sister woke up as a very gifted vampire.

The oldest Bella Swan has the gift of Fertility, and Mental Shield which explain why Aro was unable to read her mind. While the youngest Evie Swan is also a very gifted Vampire she has the gifted of Physical Shield, Fertility, and Pyrokinesis which mean she would be unable to kill by fire by anymeans.

Unlike other newborns they both had great self control that you could hardly tell they are even newborn. The moment the girls catch the mate scent for the first time as a vampire they know then that they are mate. They also gotten use to calling the kings masters like everyone in the castle.

Their first month as a newborn seem to fly by so fast. They both pick up fighting so fast that they were able to take Alec and I so quickly. And both of them are training their gifts to it's limit especially Evie who has the gift to control the power of fire.

The next Five years Evie and Bella has been training with their mates learning what they are capable with their powers and it wasn't long before they got married to their mate and Bella never thought the Cullens again.

The year after Evie & Demetri, Alec & Bella got married they end up having their first born, they had a daughter each.

Evie and Demetri named their daughter Amore Volturi who they discover have the gift of Storm manipulation and a powerful Mental/Physical Shield which make her powerful as her mother with just her gift alone. As she grew up her father Demeri taught her how to fight he want her to be able to protect herself without the use of her gift which his mate Evie agree with.

Even though she is only half vampire she could rival the strength, speed, and endurance of a full vampire. Even though she is already powerful with just her gift storm manipulation, and force field her parents still want her to well train so she could defend herself when it's need whether from Humans or Vampire.

She is her parents pride and joy she know that and she also know that her grandfather & grandmother figure caius and athenodora volturi care a great deal about her as well as they did her mother who is their adopted daughter they never had.

who look like Bella when we were young she look iddntical to her in everyway except she isn't clumsy as she was when we were human, Alexsandra graceful than bella was when we were human. And like her cousin Amore Volturi she is also a gifted Vampire she has the gift of Shield Penetration, and Electricity Manipulation.

the two hybird grow up fast than normal child by the time they turn 7 years old they look like teenagers. While they are only half vampires they are still powerful that they could riveal full vampires in strength, speed, and endurance.

300 years later....

Edward Cullen has move on after leaving Bella 300 years ago and he finally found his real mate to a newborn Vampire by the name Olivia Claire

and like Bella he was unable to read her mind the Cullen found from Eleazar Denali found that she is a mental Shield which most likely Bella had been a shield had she been turn to a vampire. My family don't just miss Bella they miss Evie especially Emmett who saw Evie as his little sister.

Alice and the Cullens never thought they would ever see the Swan Twins again from afar especially in the throne room espefially not a vampire and a member if the Volturi coven.

During their stay in Italy the Cullen found out that Evie Swan

is the wife and mate of Demetri Volturi and they have a besutiful daughter Amore Volturi which shock them since Vampires couldn't procreate but here is evidence that they could and their daughter mated to the one guy Edward Cullen fear from all Carlisle's friends, Garrett.

Even Bella Swan has a daughter with her own husband who turn out to be Alec Volturi one of the witch twins. Which they doubt they would be able to go near Evie and Bella at all especially with their mate stuck by their side. Each one of their daughter is powerful in their own right.

Bella's own daughter, Alexandra Volturi has yet to find her own mate even after 300 years. Her cousin Amore was lucky to find Garret 10 years after she became an adult.

How would you handle the Livewire transformation? No offense to STAS, but Leslie's body turning into electricity because she was standing near Superman when struck by lightning does not make a lick of sense, even by comic book standards.

I actually like the Livewire origin in STAS, and think it's the best one! Apart from maybe tweaking details like Leslie having experimental concert tech that acted volatile in extreme rain, I'd still have it play out the same way with Superman being in contact with Leslie and the lightning strike.

What's makes this origin so great is not how it happens but why. Livewire was already antagonizing Superman through her radio show, but after the accident she's able to weaponize her victimization and literally control how the media perceives the situation (she pre-emptively primed her audience to victimize her even before she woke up with her powers). It's so ripe with potential for commentary on white woman self-victimhood and the way media can shape discourse surrounding marginalization, that any origin where she just has zappy powers to begin with doesn't hit the same way.

whumptober2023 day 17-collar fandom- Danny phantom TW- electric shock summary- Danny tries to get the collar off

Danny poked around the edges of the collar. There had to be a way to take if off, but he couldn;t feel any obvious latches. It must lock or unlock with a remote.

But he didn’t have the remote! He needed to get it off. He needed to escape.

His fingers traced the collar again. There was a thin seam near the back that he could just barely get his fingernail in.

He tried pulling the two ends apart, but he couldn’t wrap his fingers around the collar since it sat so tightly against his throat.

He took a deep breath, placing his fingers near the seam. Then he concentrated on the cold of his core. It was hare. The collar made it difficult to access his core, but if he could get just enough…

He felt frost spread from his fingers. He pressed them tighter against the seal, willing the frost to spread into the device.

He was panting, brow furrowed in concentration. The frost was seeping into the device. Just a little more. Come on. He could do it. He just needed to focus. Just a little more.

Then the lights turned on, and Danny’s eyes flew open as he dropped his hands, willing the frost to melt.

They stopped in front of his cage.

“It feels a little colder in here.” The agent stared at the collar around his neck. “That definitely looks like frost. What do you think?”

He crouched down in front of the cage and Danny scooted as far back as he could.

The cage opened and Danny’s breathing picked up.

Danny pressed himself against the back, but Agent E just reached in and yanked him forward by his hair, pressing his face against the side of the cage. Danny trembled as the man felt around his collar.

“We’d heard rumors about Phantom having power over ice. This just confirms it. But, Phantom,” He sighed. “You really shouldn’t have done that.”

The agent shoved him back and Danny hit his head against the cold concrete floor.

Danny opens his eyes and sees the man take out the remote.

No! No! Please, I'm sorry, I won’t do it again! Danny begs silently trying to convey his meaning with his eyes and gestures, his words trapped behind the muzzle.

The agent looks at him almost sadly, “You need to learn that actions have consequences, Phantom.”

He presses the button, and Danny’s screams are trapped behind his teeth

When Danny returns to the land of the conscious everything hurts. The collar buzzes again and another flare of pain shoots through him. Breathing’s difficult through his partially clogged nose. He must have it when he was thrashing earlier for it to have bled.

The collor is still giving off a low level buzz of electricity, not necessarily enough to hurt, but enough for his body to keep trembling and seizing from the shocks. Every now and then, it gives a bigger shock.

He doesn’t know how long it lasts before he hears people enter the room.

He can hear voices, though they're muffled by the ringing in his ears.

Then one person leaves and the other approaches the cage.

He hears a click, and then the collar blessedly shuts off. Danny slumps, whimpering quietly.

“You brought this on yourself, Phantom. I thought you’d already learned your lesson, but I guess I was wrong.”

Danny tries to open his eyes, but they only open a tiny bit.

“And while the shock was an immediate consequence, there are also some long term consequences that we are going to have to apply.”

Danny sees the agent take something small and metallic out, but he can’t tell what it is through his blurry vision.

“The collar isn’t as powerful as we thought, that’s our fault. But don’t worry, we’ve found a solution that will keep you from giving in to the temptation to try to escape. Give me your wrists.”

Danny didn’t move. His whole body was trembling, and he didn’t think he’d be able to extend his wrist even if he tried.

“Don’t make me hurt you even more, Phantom.”

Danny shakily slid one of his wrists across the cage.

“There we go, good job.”

Danny trembled, but the agent just picked his wrist up gently and attached what Danny now knew was a cuff.

He groaned as it activated, feeling more of his core get locked away.

“Shsss. It’s going to be alright. Now, your other wrist.”

He felt dizzy.

“Phantom.”

Danny managed to slide his other wrist an inch forward.

The agent sighed, but reached in to grab his other wrist. “I understand you’re not feeling well, but you still need to try and obey.”

The other cuff clicked into place.

He breathed in sharply through his nose, keening.

Everything was wrong. He felt disconnected from his own ectoplasm, from his body. He couldn’t even feel his other half hidden away.

And he was so cold, and not in the way he was used to. This felt like that time when he was five years old and his parents had dropped him and Jazz off to play in the park while they worked even though it was freezing. He’d walked out onto the frozen lake, marveling at being able to stand on water before the ice had cracked and he’d fallen in. He wasn’t sure what had happened after that. One moment he’d been drowning, the next he was shivering in Jazz’s arms as she cried while carrying him home.

He doesn’t know how he can function like this. How long will he last, disconnected from his core except for the few times they allow it for their own experiments?

Everything aches and Danny barely registers Agent E running his fingers through his hair as he cries.

i actually think hatori is more of an electrical/hardware engineer than an informatics/information technology/software engineering person

#from the fanbook - he says he has the ability to ''flip switches he isn't supposed to''#in other words - 1s and 0s and currents #off and on #i think at the very granular level that's the mechanics of hatori's power #and i mean this is applicable to computer science and IT - but not that much #the electrical and hardware manipulation is VERY abstracted away into programming languages #and im of the opinion that hatori... doesn't know how to program computers #also when we see him demonstrate his abilities they are either hacking drones and helicopters that are likely programmed in lower-#-level languages and place a larger emphasis on electrical engineering #or hacking radio waves which i mean that's still some sort of off-on thing #the software engineering route of changing ports n permissions n stuff is.. i think not hatori's thing #but who knows... i really like hatori infosec interpretations... its just that i also think in canon he's an electrical engineer type guy #(not shitting on electrical engineers - infact i think they do better stuff than me - the loser infosec guy who can't do physics #to save his life)#my post canon hc for him is that he cleans up and goes to post-secondary school and finally learns the theory behind all of the stuff #-he CAN do #i think he'd unlock a lot of potential that way #but what do i know i am just speculating on the mechanics of psychic powers #milk (normal)#hatori tag #ah this is just me rambling i wanted to get the thought out
